Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

    Berri, head of the Shiite Amal movement, congratulates Hamas for its brutal onslaught against Israel on October 7, in which 1,400 Israelis were killed, most of them civilians.

  6. A while after Covid began I got what I self-diagnosed as psoriasis. It is much worse than eczema and drove me crazy. Then about eight months ago I stumbled across a video about this disease and the doctor recommended probiotic. I tried it and, within a few days my condition had improved. It is now almost gone.

  10. Extraordinary interview with a Canadian doctor who was fired from U Waterloo for his position on covid injections. His clarity and directness are crystalline. However no doctor these days addresses a phenomenon I observe, increasingly, in people with many (more than two) injections, which is persistent melancholy. I hope I am only imagining this, or else it may be the result of general societal degradation due to the success of the Comintern:

    • I agree with people being depressed with our civilisation being destroyed. For me, I found the best way out of it was to get deeper into practising and learning about Judaism.

    President Joe Biden’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is striving to enlist a diverse workforce through targeting certain demographics even as its air traffic control system is facing shortages and safety challenges.

    The FAA has several diversity hiring initiatives, including for black people, Hispanic people, disabled people and women, according to its website. At the same time, air traffic control is experiencing numerous issues including staffing shortages, mistakes, technological challenges and close call incidents.     “We’re certainly critical of the FAA’s efforts—in the past and in the present—to rely on race as a factor in hiring air traffic controllers,” Mountain States Legal Foundation General Counsel William Trachman told the Daily Caller News Foundation. “Obviously we are talking about a line of work where merit and the need for skill are a matter of life and death. No one cares about the race of the air traffic controller guiding in their flight.”

    “The FAA is working to create a robust pipeline of skilled and diverse professionals coming into the aviation workforce,” an FAA spokesperson told the DCNF. “We implement annual hiring campaigns, specifically the #BeATC campaign, to inspire people to join the controller workforce. We also partner with organizations like Women in Aviation International, Dreams Soar, and the National Air and Space Museum to provide unique learning opportunities to youth from diverse backgrounds.”

    Mountain States Legal Foundation sued on behalf of plaintiff Andrew Brigida and over 2,000 other air traffic controller applicants who had test scores invalidated due to former President Barack Obama’s 2015 FAA diversity policy intended to hire more minorities. The lawsuit became class-action certified in 2022.

    “Our Brigida matter is a certified class action designed to deter the federal government from using ‘diversity’ as an excuse for race discrimination,” Trachman told the DCNF. “There is never a good time for the government to embark on any employment program where race matters. And it’s especially obvious that the courts are willing to step in on these issues, after the affirmative action cases this year.”

    The Supreme Court effectively ruled that the use of affirmative action race-based admissions policies in colleges is unconstitutional in June.

    The FAA’s Hispanic Employment Program includes establishing a strategy to “provide input for agency-wide affirmative action plans,” according to its website.

    Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg has established a goal of hiring employees with severe disabilities at a rate of 3% per fiscal year, according to the FAA’s People with Disabilities Program website. These disabilities include total deafness, blindness, missing limbs, paralysis, epilepsy and dwarfism.

  17. At Least 18 Injured and 2 Dead in Mass Shooting During Halloween Celebration in Tampa, Florida

    At least two individuals lost their lives and another 18 suffered injuries following a violent incident involving firearms as groups of people were departing from Halloween festivities in Tampa, Florida during the early hours of Sunday morning.

    At approximately 2:47 a.m., Tampa Police Officers responded to a shooting incident on the 1600 block of E. 7th Ave.

    At the time of the incident, approximately 50 officers were already working along the 7th Ave corridor. Despite their presence, an altercation between two groups escalated into a deadly exchange of gunfire outside Tangra Nightclub and a 7-Eleven convenience store.

    One male victim was pronounced dead at the scene, while another succumbed to his injuries at a nearby hospital.

  18. UN Official Warns of “Civil Order Starting to Break Down” in Gaza as Thousands Loot UN Warehouses (VIDEO)

    Thousands of people have looted United Nations aid warehouses to seize supplies, an act that the UN alarmingly describes as a sign of civil order starting to erupt.

    “This is a worrying sign that civil order is starting to break down after three weeks of war and a tight siege,” Thomas White, director of the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) in Gaza.

    With Israel intensifying its military operations against Hamas, over half of Gaza’s 2.4 million inhabitants have been displaced. Even the UN World Food Programme’s senior spokeswoman Abeer Etefa admitted that people in Gaza are “desperate” and “hungry,” which is what made the looting of UN warehouses expected.

    The looting incidents occurred primarily at UNRWA’s second-largest depot in Deir al-Balah, situated in the central Gaza Strip. The depots contained basic supplies like flour, soap, and hygiene kits. Individuals who participated in the looting defended their actions by explaining their lack of essential supplies.

    Gun sales in Lewiston, Maine and the surrounding area spiked over 200% after a deadly mass shooting claimed the lives of 18 people and wounded over a dozen more.

    Despite a shelter-in-place order being put in place in Lewiston, Maine, local gun shop owners were urged to open up their doors by community members who pleaded with them to open up shop.

    According to Fox Business, Ryan Gagnon, who is a co-owner of 3 Cousins Firearms in Lewiston, reported, “Our sales were up, I would say, over 200% compared to a typical Friday.”

    Another gun shop owner, Tony Lewis, shared that he did more business after the mass shooting than he did the entire month.

  21. We are horrified to see Lallia Allali, wife of Imam Taha Hassane of the Islamic Center of San Diego, post this horrific image to her Facebook profile.
    The graphic shows a Jewish star murdering babies with “the devil is killing” at the bottom.
    Allali is also the local leader of the Palestinian Youth Movement, an entity tied to the anti Israel protests occurring all over the U.S. these past few weeks.

A senior Hamas official abroad, Khaled Mashal, said in an interview with the Egyptian channel Sada al-Balad, which took place over the weekend: “For your information, Russia benefited from this (the terrorist attack) because we distracted the Americans from them and Ukraine. As China saw this as an impressive case, the Russians told us that what happened on October 7 – will be taught in military schools.”

    It’s one thing when pastors suggest that no planes ever hit the world trade center on 9/11, even though I personally know people who saw them and filmed them. But for these pastors to now suggest that Trump and Netanyahu are behind the current war to push for a Two-State Solution is simply horrific and despicable.     A delegation from Hamas, the Palestinian organisation’s first high-profile international trip since the 7 October attacks, arrived in Moscow earlier this week for meetings with the Russian foreign ministry.

The campus kosher dining hall was singled out with a threat of a massacre. Police are reportedly on scene and the Cornell administration has issued a statement expressing concern.
