Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

    • The U.S. basically does whatever it needs to do to *look* like they’re on Israel’s side, but really, they seem to just as much be playing the other team.

      Just like they’re doing back home, for example by encouraging a slow-fire invasion through the southern border.

      • Daniel Greenfield is my favorite author.
        He is a proud American writing eloquently about the realities versus what is presented, I’m going to check to see if he has a podcast.

    • Prof. Kedar is a favorite of mine.
      He appears frequently on Arab TV sites where he drives his interlocutors crazy. He knows Them and their Book better than senior professors at Al-Azhar. They scream, the audience laughs and groans.

      • Watching him encounter the journalists, politico’s and talking heads is pure political gold.
        He’s been an official advisor in some position in the past, he’d be a terrific official Israeli mouthpiece for the Arab world.
        Interesting analysis for sure

        • He’s at the point where he’s heard more broadly as an outside voice. He’s apparently been a great professor, trained a generation, including Arab Israelis. Knows more about Beduins than any current member of Knesset.

  9. The debt/doom loop is baked in. The math assures it. The U.S. has added 650 billion dollars on debt in the last month alone. Zoltan Poszar has come out with a new article calling the situation a “checkmate”. Yield curve control is another way of saying the U.S. Fed will have to buy its own T-bills because the world no longer wants it. At least this is what I understand.

No injuries were reported but the encounters damaged a Philippine coast guard ship and a wooden-hulled supply boat operated by navy personnel, officials said.

    President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. called an emergency meeting with the defense secretary and other top military and security officials to discuss the latest hostilities in the disputed waters. The Philippines and other neighbors of China have resisted Beijing’s sweeping territorial claims over virtually the entire South China Sea, and some, like Manila, have sought U.S. military support as incidents multiply.

    The siege at the well-appointed apartment complex (rents start at $2,259) is one more example of the deliberate destruction of American society by progressive Democrat politicians from Joe Biden to California Governor Gavin Newsom.

    As bad as that is, why wouldn’t they try? The Biden regime has left the front door open for them to just walk in. These leftists that run the country hate you, me, and America and want us miserable.

    During a pro-Israel event in Skokie, Illinois, about 200 pro-Palestinian protesters showed up to demonstrate, Lincolnwood police said. Outside the event across the street, a man was confronted by a number of people in a town center mall when he pulled out a firearm and shot it into the air Sunday afternoon, Lincolnwood police said in a press release.
    The man was quickly arrested and no one was injured.
    At the same protest, a person was hit by a vehicle in a hit-and-run in a separate incident, though the victim only required treatment at the scene, according to Lincolnwood police.

    A day earlier, on the west coast, a man was arrested after police said he fired a splatter ball gun at protesters during a pro-Palestinian rally, KEZI reported.

    During the march in Eugene, Jonathan Wisbey stopped a pickup truck, blocking the crowd before an argument began, police reportedly said.
    As police approached the situation, a protester slashed one of Wisbey’s tires. He then got out of his car and allegedly shot a splatter ball gun – which fires water gel beads – into the crowd, police said, according to the news outlet.
    A couple protesters pulled handguns in response, but officers confronted those who were armed and took them into custody without further incident, police reportedly said.
    Wisbey is facing charges of menacing, second-degree disorderly conduct and first-degree bias.

    Police on Sunday said 19 people were busted during the massive anti-Israel rally in Brooklyn where thousands of rowdy demonstrators clashed with cops.
    According to the NYPD, 16 protesters were arrested and issued criminal court summonses, while three others were taken into custody and released on desk appearance tickets.
    The “Flood Brooklyn for Palestine” protest on Saturday shut down traffic in Bay Ridge for hours as the NYPD struggled to contain the mob, which lobbed eggs at cops and lit fires in the street while waving Palestinian flags.
    One young protester was seen trying to keep cops from pulling away a woman holding a “Zionism is Genocide” sign.

Officers responded to this disruptive behavior and attempted to regain order by taking into custody those responsible for these actions,” the statement said. “The NYPD encourages peaceful protests but will not condone our officers being subjected to any form of violence.”
    The three demonstrators taken into custody on misdemeanor charges were Marwan Hamed, Gabriella Flanagan and Umahani Hamad, police said.
    Hamed, 29, of Staten Island, was charged with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and failure to use a sidewalk, cops said.
    Flanagan, 23, of Brooklyn, was charged with resisting arrest, obstructing governmental administration, disorderly conduct and failure to use a sidewalk, the NYPD said.
    Hamad, 18, of Brooklyn, was charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct, police said.

    “This was not a rally for a two-state solution or for the liberation of Gaza from Hamas or [a] public all to free hundreds of kidnapped Israelis and Americans,” Kagan wrote on X.
    “It was a shameful pro-Hamas & anti-Israel rally that I strongly condemn.”
    The raucous rally came one day after nearly 200 pro-Palestinian protesters were arrested for blocking traffic in Manhattan at a demonstration sponsored by the Democratic Socialists of America.
    One demonstrator at a rally in Midtown Manhattan earlier this month flashed a swastika.
