This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

  1. The UN mission — I assume that the reply below was from UNRA — is unclear, which should concern the readers of this site. Imagine how happy the people of Dresden or Hiroshima would have been to have had help leaving prior to those holocausts (small ‘h’). And what is this with American news saying that these rais in Gaza are retaliatory raids? Retaliation would be parachuting into an outdoor concert in Iran and massacreing attendees.

    I disagree with “dead baby” images as it might entice Hamas to sacrifice its own kids to make an image.

    I am posting this link because an announcer at one of the Israel Hebrew stations was so touched to receive support from the UK that he read the lede over the air (and then some) before translating it to Hebrew.

  5. Happy Friday the13th.

    This morning as I go out to check the chickens I notice the stars are unusually bright. I think I can be forgiven if I smell the gun smoke of orchestration at the turn of every worm. At once I realize this is impossible. Man is not omnipotent. He sure would like us to think so, though.

    Orchestration implies the hidden hand, something manufactured or even fake. Mass casualties and death can be at once manufactured and real, but not faked. Ironic how in our age of inclusivity and diversity the value of human life is dropping faster than the Turkish Lira. I wish Dear Leader could explain how this works. He is so wise.

    Yesterday I struggled to explain to a friend how it was hard to carry on with the usual angles and stories while seeing the Israel war unfold. The misplaced word was “overshadowed”.

    We know no disaster is wasted by those designing our demise and their ascension. We also know that any planned event, or line of effort, will have more than one goal.

    The more I learn the less I know. The less I know I know the more I know we are rarified in that we are not yet crazy or mentacided, and have not yet given up on fighting for even those who know not better. Yes, we may find ourselves increasingly isolated for our views, but staying on this lonesome trail requires the insatiable curiosity of multiple autodidactic PhDs. The road less travelled is longer lived than read.

  10. Teacher in France has been stabbed to death and two others wounded one seriously in Arrass in the Pas de Calais region. The attacker is a Muslim who shouted Allah a Akbar as he carried out the attack. His brother has also been arrested later, he is a Chechian.

  16. A teacher has been killed and two others seriously injured during a knife attack at a school in France on Friday morning as the suspect allegedly shouted “Allahu Akbar,” according to local media.

    The knife-wielding suspect stabbed the assistant principal of the school and a gym teacher at the City School Gambetta-Carnot, French outlet BFMTV reported.

  23. City Councilwoman Arrested for Carrying Gun at Pro-Palestinian Rally

    City Councilwoman Inna Vernikov was arrested Friday after attending a pro-Palestinian rally on Thursday while carrying a firearm on her person.

    Vernikov, who represents Brighton Beach and Sheepshead Bay in southern Brooklyn, attended the rally, which was held at Brooklyn College, as a counterprotester. Pictures and videos of the councilwoman quickly circulated on social media that appeared to show Vernikov observing the rally with the butt of a handgun visible from her waistband.

    According to the NYPD, the department notified Vernikov that she was in violation of the law after she left the rally, and she later turned herself in to the 70th Precinct at 2:50 a.m. accompanied by her lawyer. The councilwoman was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a firearm, and she had to turn over her legally licensed firearm as well as her permit.

    It’s Been One Week and the International Red Cross Is AWOL on the Israeli Hostages Taken by Hamas
    Last Saturday Hamas terrorists stormed into Israel and slaughtered over 1,300 innocent Israelis and took over 100 civilians hostage. Hamas attacked an outdoor music festival, killed nearly 300 young adults, and took dozens of the young men and women captive.

    This was a clear war crime.

    Since last weekend the International Red Cross has been AWOL in repeated requests to check on the well-being of the hostages.

    A man of Chechen origin who was under surveillance by French security services over suspected Islamic radicalization stabbed a teacher to death at his former high school and critically wounded three other people Friday in northern France, authorities said.
    The attack was being investigated by anti-terror prosecutors amid soaring global tensions over the war between Israel and Hamas. It also happened almost three years after another teacher, Samuel Paty, was beheaded by a radicalized Chechen near a Paris area school.
    The man arrested as the main suspect in Friday’s stabbings had been under surveillance since the summer on suspicion of Islamic radicalization, French intelligence services told The Associated Press. He was detained Thursday for questioning based on the monitoring of his phone calls in recent days, but investigators found no weapon or threat or indication that he was preparing an attack, Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin said.
    ’’There was a race against the clock. But there was no threat, no weapon, no indication. We did our our job seriously,? Darmanin said on TF1 television.
    The suspect was reportedly refusing to speak to investigators. Several others also were in custody Friday, national counterterrorism prosecutor Jean-Francois Ricard said. Police said the suspect’s younger brother was held for questioning.
    President Emmanuel Macron said France had been “hit once again by the barbarity of Islamist terrorism.”
    “Nearly three years to the day after the assassination of Samuel Paty, terrorism has hit a school again and in a context that we’re all aware of,” Macron said at the site of the attack in Arras, a city 115 miles (185 kilometers) north of Paris.
    A colleague and a fellow teacher identified the dead educator as Dominique Bernard, a French language teacher at the Gambetta-Carnot school, which enrolls students ages 11-18. The victim “stepped in and probably saved many lives” but two of the wounded — another teacher and a security guard — were fighting for theirs, according to Macron.
    Sliman Hamzi, a police officer who was one of the first on the scene, said the suspected attacker, a former student at the school, shouted “Allahu akbar,” or “God is great” in Arabic.
    Hamzi said he was alerted by another officer, rushed to the school and saw a male victim lying on the ground outside the school and the attacker being taken away. He said the victim had his throat slit.
    “I’m extremely shocked by what I saw,” the officer said. “It was a horrible thing to see this poor man who was killed on the job by a lunatic.”
    The National Police force identified the suspect in the attack as a Russian national of Chechen origin who was born in 2003. The French intelligence services told the AP he had been closely watched since the summer with tails and telephone surveillance and was stopped as recently as Thursday for a police check that found no wrongdoing.
    Friday’s attack had echoes of Paty’s slaying on Oct 16, 2020 — also a Friday — by an 18-year-old who had become radicalized. Like the suspect in Friday’s stabbings, the earlier attacker had a Chechen background; police shot and killed him.

    Thanks to the Biden Regime, our southern border is a perpetual mess. Not only are they putting our civilians in danger, but also our National Guardsmen.

    On Wednesday, two illegal aliens from Venezuela violently assaulted a National Guard Soldier in El Paso, Texas. According to Fox News’s Bill Melugin: “A woman grabbed the soldier around the neck, trying to push him down, while a male grabbed his leg, causing him to fall into razor wire. Both arrested.”

    The message these illegals are getting is come to the U.S. and they will let you in. The illegals know the border laws are not being enforced. What is even more alarming is that they are assaulting our great soldiers because they are becoming more comfortable with lawlessness.
