Reader’s Links for October 1st, 2023

Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

    Please remember Jeremy Brown today on his birthday. The former Green Beret and January 6 political prisoner was sentenced to 7 years and 3 months in prison on Good Friday this year.

    Jeremy Brown did nothing wrong. But he did expose Chris Wray’s lies.

    Green Beret and Republican congressional candidate Jeremy Brown attended the Stop the Steal protests in Washington DC on January 6, 2021. Jeremy joined the Oath Keepers in November of 2020 following the controversial presidential elections and went to Washington DC to provide security at the many protests and rallies that were planned and scheduled that week in Washington DC.

    In March of 2021, Jeremy Brown began speaking out about how the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF) contacted him in December 2020 and attempted to recruit him to spy on patriots and everyday Americans on January 6th.

  6. Biden’s America: Illegal Immigrant Gang Kidnaps Three Girls, Including 11-Year-Old, in Northern Minnesota and Rapes and Tortures Them – Not Making Headlines

    Three girls were kidnapped, tortured and raped by an illegal immigrant gang in northern Minnesota recently. One of the girls was an 11-year-old.

    Bemidji is located in a rural area in northern Minnesota near the source of the Mississippi River.

    22-year-old Oscar Luna was arrested at the scene. Several men were identified at the scene and transported by US Border Patrol to be processed as illegal aliens.

    Bemidji Police have arrested a man after an 11-year-old girl told authorities that she and two other girls were tied up and raped by several men at a Bemidji home.

    On Sept. 23rd, the Bemidji Sanford Hospital’s emergency department called police on an assault complaint.

    According to court documents, the 11-year-old said she was with a woman who forced her to drink alcohol.

    She said a bag was placed over her head, and she was taken to a home, where she was stripped… tied up between two other girls…and raped.

    The girl said another girl was in a closet, while the third girl was bloody and unconscious.

    Authorities arrested 22-year-old Oscar Luna. He’s charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct in Beltrami County. Luna was also arrested on a warrant from Hennepin County.

    Police say several other people were identified at the scene, eleven of whom were transported by U.S. Border Patrol to be processed as illegal immigrants.

    Oscar Luna was arrested in connection to vicious assault in Bemidji, Minnesota.

    During separate interviews, the girl told investigators she had been with Verna Fairbanks, who she called “Auntie.”

    At some point, Fairbanks told the girl to get into a car. She said someone put a bag over her head and brought her to a house with four men she described as “Mexican” where she was stripped and tied up between two other girls who said the same things happened to them.

    The girl said that while she was at the house, Fairbanks put a rope around her neck and forced her to drink alcohol. She also said one of the other girls who had been raped was in the closet and another was bloody and unconscious.

    The girl, who rated her pain as eight out of 10, two days after the assault, said she was able to escape when another girl untied her. She said a man named “Panda” grabbed the girl who helped the 11-year-old escape and threw her down the stairs.

    The girl gave investigators a description of Panda and said he was one of the men who raped her. Officers determined that 22-year-old Oscar Luna, of Mission Texas, fit the description of Panda and took him into custody.

    Luna is charged with 1st degree criminal sexual conduct. The case remains under investigation.

    The Bemidji Police Department released a statement on the incident.

    Now, Pope Francis further cemented his legacy, elevating 21 prelates to the high rank of cardinal and raising the percentage of Cardinal-electors chosen by him.

    Bodega owner Jose Alba filed a lawsuit against Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg and the NYPD for racial discrimination.

    In July 2022, Alvin Bragg charged 52-year-old Jose Alba with murder when he clearly acted in self-defense.

    Jose Alba was thrown into Rikers Island jail for nearly a week after he stabbed his attacker several times in self-defense.

    Jennifer Sigall, the Assistant DA under Alvin Bragg said the prosecutor’s office could “not prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the defendant was not justified in his use of deadly physical force.”

    Victor Davis Hanson, speaking to host Dan Proft on American Greatness’ “Counterculture” podcast, said that it’s necessary to “clean up and break up” rogue government agencies that “lie with impunity.”

    “How do you stop the DOJ, the FBI, the CIA, the local prosecutors from doing what they’re doing?” Hanson asked Proft. “James Comey, Anthony Fauci, Robert Mueller, Andrew McCabe — that lie with impunity?”

    “You’d have to go through and completely clean out and break up those agencies.”

A third Party run by Bobby Jr. will split the Dem vote, this will ensure that Trump wins unless once again there is an open and obvious steal of the election. Some of the states have instituted changes to block a steal but have enough made the changes to block the Dems?)

    Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will reportedly jettison the Democrats and soon announce plans to seek the White House in 2024 as an in independent candidate.

    He is expected to make the announcement on Oct. 9 at a Pennsylvania rally, Mediaite reported. An adviser to the presidential candidate said his decision stemmed from what he considered unfair practices by the Democratic National Committee to stifle his candidacy.

    “Bobby feels that the DNC is changing the rules to exclude his candidacy so an independent run is the only way to go,” one campaign advisor told the outlet.

    At present, Kennedy averages 14.9% support in the Democratic primary to Biden’s 65.0%, according to RealClearPolitics. Hollywood guru Marianne Williamson places third with 4.9%.

    Kennedy has long expressed frustrations with both the DNC and the Biden White House. In July of this year, he fumed at the administration’s decision to reject his request for Secret Service protection.

    Florida Governor Ron DeSantis made it clear where he stands in the 2024 presidential race. On this week’s broadcast of Fox News Channel’s “Sunday Morning Futures,” DeSantis was asked whether he would consider joining a Donald Trump ticket as vice president if Donald Trump asked him.

    His answer was unequivocal: “No, I’m running for president.”

    The question posed by host Maria Bartiromo emerged from recent comments by Trump concerning the potential candidates for his 2024 Republican vice president candidate.

    Speaking in Detroit on Wednesday, the former president said, “They’re all job candidates. They’ll do anything, secretary of something. They even say VP. I don’t know. Does anybody see any VP in the group? I don’t think so.”

    New York Governor Kathy Hochul (D) has turned into an immigration hawk after the Biden administration has overwhelmed her state–and specifically New York City–with an unceasing flood of thousands upon thousands of migrants. Appearing on the CBS News program Face the Nation on Sunday, Hochul called for limits on migration at the border and for a “doubling or quadrupling” of Border Patrol agents.

    Hochul cast blame on Republicans and Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), rather than Joe Biden, ignoring that it is Biden’s policies that have instigated the massive amount of illegal immigration since he took office in 2021.

    In the past few months, as pressure has built on Hochul to do something about the migrant crisis, she has pressed the Biden administration to provide work permits to migrants and to send financial and personnel help.

    Last month in an appearance on CNN, Hochul told migrants to go “somewhere else” besides New York, “They’re literally from around the world. West Africa, South and Central America — they’re coming from all over. But we have to let the word out that when you come to New York, we’re not going to have more hotel rooms. We don’t have capacity. So we have to also message properly that we’re at our limit. If you’re going to leave your country, go somewhere else.”
