Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

    • Yes they are waging economic war against all Western Nations. If we had a US Government that cared about the people we would be increasing our own oil production to lower the prices and the inflation.

      Since our Governments don’t want to keep us strong and wealthy they aren’t going to do the rational thing. Instead they are going to help destroy our freedom.

    • The weird thing is that so many people still call Russia Communist.
      Maybe it’s trending to soft Tsarism, with oligarchs standing in for boyars – who knows? – but certainly not Communism.

      PTrump’s enemies brought antediluvian Sovietologists out from under their rocks. While these pose as experts, they remain obsessed with the *Evil Empire* of their salad days. An abstraction because they don’t know or care about Russia or its many peoples.

The Ancient Greeks said that governments run in cycles, Democracy that turns to Dictatorship that turns to Monarchy that turns to Democracy. The US Constitution was written to break that cycle, we are trying but the Dems are working to keep the cycles turning.

        • Democracy isn’t for everyone. Some say an average IQ of about 90 is required to make it plausible.

          Singapore, a soft dictatorship, rolls in at 108. My “airplane brother” lives half the year in Singapore, the other in an Israel that’s poisoning itself on politics.

          We’ve already had our last election. What happens next is more important than this campaign charade.

    Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson (D) is looking into opening taxpayer-funded, city-owned grocery stores in areas in which businesses have pulled out due to rampant crime.

    Johnson announced a partnership with the Economic Security Project to look into the possibility of opening city-owned grocery stores. The first step in the partnership will be to perform a feasibility study, but the city did not provide a timeline, the Chicago Tribune reported.

    Johnson claimed his administration is “committed to advancing innovative, whole-of-government approaches to address these inequities.”

    Hunter Biden was indicted on federal gun charges on Thursday in a Delaware court related to his possession of a firearm while using drugs.

    As attorney Mike Davis later explained this was just more coverup by Delaware US Attorney David Weiss to protect the Biden Crime Family and bury evidence of the family’s alleged multi-million dollar bribery schemes.

    Davis continued, “Weiss’s charges today continue his deceptive pattern–for years–of protecting Hunter. More troubling, Weiss is protecting President Biden. Indeed, where are Hunter’s charges related to foreign corruption, acting as an unregistered foreign agent, tax evasion, wire fraud, and other criminal charges that could implicate President Biden?”

    Hunter Biden was charged with “one count of False Statement in Purchase of a Firearm, one count of False Statement Related to Information Required to be Kept By Federal Firearms Licensed Dealer, and one count of Possession of a Firearm by a Person who is an Unlawful User of or Addicted to a Controlled Substance.”

    The Gateway Pundit reported back in October 2020 that his then-lover and deceased brother’s widow tossed the gun in the trash. Hunter admitted this in an online conversation with his family when they accused him of inappropriate conduct in front of a child.

    And on the next day, we provided additional text messages from Hunter Biden that were devastating.

    In a long text that Hunter sent to a family friend, Hunter exposed all that was going on with him and his family. (See also the Illustrated Primer)

    We shared texts where Hunter comes across as borderline crazy. Hunter shared that his dead brother’s wife, Hallie Biden, whom he had an affair with, threw his gun into the garbage and the police, FBI and Secret Service got involved.

    Hallie claimed she did this because she was afraid Hunter would harm himself or the kids!

    Below is the text we provided back in October 2020 from Hunter’s laptop that was strangely ignored by the mainstream media at the time and to this day.

    This was posted during a family discussion where Hunter accused his mother of suggesting he was sexually inappropriate with the children.

    A possible key witness against Biden is speaking out from Ukraine and is making serious accusations against the incumbent U.S. president. The latter is said to have tried to have him killed. The accusations carry weight, coming from none other than Ukraine’s former Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin, who in 2015 led investigations that became so dangerous to Biden that in 2016 he blackmailed the Ukrainian government into dismissing Shokin.

    Investigation of criminal acts in Burisma

    The news from Ukraine comes at the worst possible time for the Bidens, as the dubious foreign activities of the Biden family in recent years are increasingly becoming the bane of both the son and the father:

    This week, for example, the Republican chairman of the U.S. House of Representatives, Kevin McCarthy, announced impeachment proceedings against U.S. President Joe Biden. Almost simultaneously, Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley announced that an internal FBI document obtained by the U.S. House Oversight Committee for review contained information about 15 audio recordings of Hunter Biden’s conversations and two recordings of Joe Biden’s conversations with a “foreign national” associated with Burisma.

    This foreign national is most likely disgraced Ukrainian ex-minister, businessman and owner of Burisma Holdings, Mykola Zlochevsky. The footage may prove that both father and son Biden received kickbacks from Burisma.

    U.S. investigations lead directly to ousted prosecutor

    These U.S. investigations led directly to the former Prosecutor General of Ukraine, Viktor Shokin. Namely, in early 2015, the Ukrainian Prosecutor’s Office put Burisma’s owner, Mykola Zlochevsky, on a wanted list for illegal enrichment and launched investigations that also put Biden’s son Hunter on the spot. Just a year later, in March 2016, during an official visit to Kyiv, [then] U.S. Vice President Joe Biden called for the dismissal of Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin and blackmailed Ukrainian President Poroshenko with a $1 billion loan. Literally, he said, “We will leave in six hours. If the prosecutor is not released, you will not get the money.”

    Viktor Shokin was appointed Prosecutor General of Ukraine by decree of Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko on February 11, 2015. Only a year later, right after Biden’s blackmail, the same Poroshenko asked Shokin to resign. He was apparently in a hurry, because a bill to dismiss Shokin was submitted to parliament as early as February 19, and the Verkhovna Rada passed it on March 29. On April 3, Poroshenko signed Shokin’s dismissal. For the public, Poroshenko’s staff justified the prosecutor general’s dismissal by claiming that he had delayed the collection of evidence in the “Maidan cases.”

    Heart attack, or attack on Schokin?

    But apparently, that was not enough. In early 2020, Shokin told journalists that someone had tried to poison him. The inconvenient investigator also named the suspect: Joe Biden. On September 10, 2019, the former attorney general got out of the car in Greece, lost consciousness, and fell down. “The diagnosis from the Greek hospital where I was in intensive care was ‘two heart stops.’ To bring me back to this world, stun guns were used to revive me,” Shokin described the dramatic events in an interview with TSN. After the incident, he had to relearn how to walk, according to the Prosecutor General.

    The realization that it had not been an ordinary cardiac arrest came a month later when Shokin was receiving treatment in Austria. Doctors detected mercury levels in his body that were five times higher than the maximum permissible level. “As my acquaintances in the SBU [Security Service of Ukraine] told me, this poisoning method is somewhat outdated, but there is still a field for its use,” the former prosecutor general said.

    Shokin’s attempts to seek justice in court and from the European Commission

    On February 24, 2020, the State Bureau of Investigation of Ukraine opened a criminal case based on Shokin’s testimony that Biden had privately and publicly demanded his resignation in return for U.S. financial guarantees to Ukraine.

    However, police closed this criminal case as early as September 23, 2020, having found no corpus delicti. Shokin and his lawyers tried to appeal this decision, but the court rejected it. Shokin criticized the evidentiary hearing, saying, “I would like to point out that during their months-long ‘investigation,’ the police conducted only one investigative measure – namely, my interrogation before the case was closed. Of course, I do not agree with this,” said the former prosecutor general.

    In April 2021, in an effort to publicize the case outside Ukraine, Shokin even filed a complaint with the European Commission seeking a finding that his rights had been violated during his dismissal from the post of Prosecutor General of Ukraine.

    The case landed on the desk of EU Commissioner Mairead McGuinness. In his complaint, Shokin expressed his belief that U.S. officials’ demand for his dismissal in 2016 constituted “interference by a foreign state in Ukraine’s internal affairs.” Shokin claimed that a number of his rights had been violated, including the right to work, the right to a fair trial, and Ukraine’s right to self-determination. As far as the editors are aware, the European Commission has not yet responded.

    What is preventing Shokin from appearing before a U.S. Congressional committee?

    Former Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin is trying to draw attention to the case outside Ukraine. His book “The True Stories of Joe Biden’s International Corruption in Ukraine, or Who Can’t Become President of the United States” was presented at a press club in Brussels. Shokin has valuable information and is willing to share it. So why doesn’t respected Congressman James Comer, who has been actively seeking evidence against the Bidens for a year, turn to him?

    Perhaps the Republicans on the U.S. House Oversight Committee are waiting for the presidential race to enter a decisive phase so they can then use the “heavy artillery”? Or are they hesitating so as not to denigrate the country’s leadership during the war in Ukraine? Either way, chances are that we will soon hear more about Biden’s involvement in the Burisma corruption scandal in the U.S. as well.

    President Biden’s son has pleaded guilty to two counts of failing to pay taxes and one count of possession of firearms while intoxicated.

    Meanwhile, hearings continue in the U.S. Congress on the “opaque income” Joseph and Hunter Biden received from foreign businessmen and corporations. None of this has yet prevented 80-year-old Joe Biden from running for a second term. What is missing for U.S. lawmakers to prove President Biden’s guilt or innocence in trading on his influence as a high-ranking U.S. official?

    2.This presents a challenge for The Firm, which has for years used omnibus spending bills to manipulate the legislative process. Before we address The Firm’s latest challenge and how it’s responding, let’s first review a few of the basic dynamics at play here.
    3. An omnibus spending bill is typically written by The Firm in secret, with assistance from a few “appropriators” (members of the House and Senate spending or “appropriations” committees), hand-picked by The Firm.

    4.Once written, an omnibus will first be seen by the public—and even by nearly every member of Congress—only days or hours before a scheduled shutdown.
    5. The timing and sequence of a typical omnibus, carefully orchestrated by The Firm, all but ensures that it will pass without substantive changes once it becomes public, and that very few elected, federal lawmakers will have meaningful input in this highly secretive process.

    8. What’s stunning here is that loyalties within The Firm seem to run deeper than those within each party. In light of that phenomenon, some observers have described the force uniting support for The Firm’s omnibus bills as “the Uniparty.” While members of both parties are adversely affected by The Firm’s manipulative tactics, there is far more resentment toward The Firm among Republicans, who see two constants in The Firm’s impact: (1) government spending inexorably grows, and (2) the spending bills advanced by The Firm tend to unite Democrats while sharply dividing Republicans, producing a net gain for Democrats. While exceptions can occasionally be found, Republican appropriators are notorious for wanting to spend—far more than they want to advance Republican policy priorities, deeply endearing them to The Firm.
    9. Sure, all members of Congress get to vote on the bill’s ultimate passage. But passage is all but assured. The Firm tells members that they MUST pass it—even though they haven’t seen it, read it, or had time to debate or amend it—because if they don’t, there will be a government shutdown.
    10. The Firm also makes clear that members voting against the omnibus will be blamed—by The Firm itself—for the shutdown and its ugly consequences.
    11. Thus, although voters in every state elect people to Congress to represent them in all federal legislative endeavors, The Firm can (and often does) render their individual involvement in the spending process far less meaningful than it should be.

    12. This sort of thing makes The Firm far more powerful, with more power flowing to The Firm every time this cycle is completed. It’s great for The Firm and the lobbyists and special interests able to capture The Firm’s attention (through home-state connections, political donations, or otherwise).
    13. But it’s terrible for the American people, who are stuck with the horrible consequences of this shameful dance, including rampant inflation and our $33 trillion national debt.

    14. In a sense, the problem is not necessarily the omnibus itself. In theory, Congress could pass a comprehensive spending bill in a way that didn’t exclude most of its members—and most Americans—from the process of drafting, debating, amending, and passing that bill.
    15. Thus, there’s nothing inherently wrong with the omnibus itself; the true evil lies in the process by which the omnibus is secretly drafted, hastily debated, and then passed under extortion from The Firm.
    16. Many Americans have, over time, developed a basic understanding of omnibus spending bills—at least enough to be suspicious of them. Having heard enough complaints from their constituents, many members of Congress have understandably begun expressing reluctance toward any omnibus.
    17. The Firm has become aware of that growing reluctance, which is a serious threat to The Firm, given how well the omnibus has served The Firm as it perpetually tries to make itself more powerful at the expense of the American people.
    18. Clearly alarmed by that threat, some members of The Firm have started to say things like “we will not support omnibus.”
    19. By saying that, they make themselves sound heroic, responsive to voters and rank-and-file members, and committed to serious reform of the spending process.
    20. That illusion disappears when, on closer inspection, it becomes evident that The Firm’s new strategy is to promise to pass two or three smaller omnibus measures (sometimes called “minibus” bills) by essentially the same, rigged process long associated with the omnibus.
    21. Those leery of The Firm’s manipulation tactics understand that (a) the absence of a single omnibus bill, and the use of two or more “minibus” bills instead of a single omnibus, doesn’t mean the process will be fair or materially different than that associated with an omnibus, and (b) it’s very likely that Congress will find itself stuck with a single omnibus, in spite of The Firm’s recent insistence to the contrary.
    22. Given that Republicans currently hold the majority in the House of Representatives, rank-and-file Republicans in both chambers generally believe that the Senate should address spending bills only after they have been passed by the Republican-controlled House, as that approach is more likely to protect Republican priorities.
    23. Congress is supposed to pass twelve spending bills each year, each associated with different functions of the federal government. So far this year, the House has passed only one spending bill—the one known by the abbreviation “MilConVA,” which contains funding for military construction and the Veterans Administration.
    24.This week, the Senate moved to proceed to the House-passed MilConVA appropriations bill.
    25. Not content to let the Senate deal with only one spending bill at a time, The Firm wanted to create a minibus out of the MilConVA bill by adding two additional bills drafted by the Democrat-controlled Senate Appropriations Committee—specifically those containing funding for (1) agriculture, and (2) transportation, housing, and urban development.
    26. Conservative Republicans in the House and Senate found this move alarming, as it would strengthen The Firm at the expense of Republican priorities, and contribute to the eventual likelihood of an end-of-year omnibus geared primarily toward advancing Democratic priorities.
    27. The Firm faced a hurdle: combining the three bills together in the Senate would require the consent of every senator.
    28. While many Senate Republicans harbored these concerns, most identified conditions that, if satisfied, would persuade them to consent. Most of the conditions involved some combination of (1) technical and procedural assurances pertaining to how the combined bill would be considered, and (2) an agreement to vote on specific proposed amendments advancing Republican priorities.
    29. One Republican senator in particular, Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson, remained concerned that any agreement would benefit The Firm and far more than it would advance Republican priorities. On that basis, he objected.
    30. The Firm wasn’t happy. Making its displeasure known, The Firm and its cheerleaders tried to blame @RonJohnsonWI for the Senate’s inability to restore what’s known as “regular order,” that is, the process by which each of the twelve appropriations bills is supposed to advance independently, and in a way that honors each member’s procedural rights by allowing an “open amendment process.”
    @RonJohnsonWI 31. Here’s the irony: what The Firm was proposing was NOT “regular order.” Far from it, it was a slightly different flavor of The Firm’s tried-and-true manipulation formula.
    32. Because @SenRonJohnson courageously objected, shortly after the Senate voted to proceed to the House-passed MilConVA bill, the Senate may now proceed to “regular order” consideration of that bill—unencumbered by The Firm’s manipulative plan to subject the Senate to an unending series of omnibus (or omnibus-like) bills that The Firm can ram through both chambers with minimal interference from rank-and-file members.

    Last week I warned that 2024 is literally the pivotal year in the history of the United States of America. Because if Trump doesn’t win, we are facing one party rule, the end of the Republican Party, the end of capitalism, the end of America as we know it.

    If President Trump doesn’t win in 2024, there will never be another Republican President. Anyone who doesn’t understand this, is blind, deaf and very dumb.

    But the real contention of this commentary is…if Trump loses in 2024, I strongly believe he will be the last Republican- period.

    Because being a Republican, conservative, patriot, or Christian will be outlawed soon after Democrats achieve one party rule in 2024.

    I want you to think long and hard about what Democrats have achieved in just seven short years since 2016. During those seven years we had major Republican leaders in positions of power.

    At various times we held the Presidency, Congress and Supreme Court. For the past year, the GOP has had control of the House. For all of those years, Republicans dominated at the state level- with a majority of Governorships and state legislatures. For all of those years, the GOP had a majority of the Supreme Court.

    And yet with all those Republicans in key positions of power, think about what Democrats have been able to do to America…

    *They have rigged and stolen elections- including the Presidency- with mail-in ballots, no Voter ID, ballot harvesting (a crime everywhere else in the world) and ballot drop boxes. Pure voter fraud has been legalized.

    *They have opened the border, and invited, and welcomed the whole world in. Millions have come. Tens of millions more are coming. Our enemies’ prisons are being emptied. America is being overrun. This is an invasion worse than Russia invading Ukraine. No city can survive the financial burden- even Democrat mayors are screaming bloody murder.

    *Every major city in America run by Democrats now looks like a third world craphole.

    *Retail stores are being robbed into bankruptcy.

    *Democrat DAs let every vicious thug out with no bail. Yet peaceful Republican protesters are hunted down, tortured in third world prisons, and sentenced to long prison terms.

    *Democrats have poisoned the military with purges of conservatives and white Americans…forced vaccines…critical race theory…transgender brainwashing and troops flying rainbow flags.

    *Our schools have been destroyed by the same nonstop communist brainwashing, white hate…and convincing our children to change genders without informing parents.

    *All over America, woke companies will not hire whites for executive training programs.

    *Elite medical schools have eliminated test scores. Now you get into medical school based only on race. Insanity.

    *The FBI and government agencies collude with the media and Big Tech to silence, ban, and censor conservatives, criminalize free speech, and change the news feed to elect only Democrats.

    *The ruthless government again and again indicts the only man who can stop them from one party control in 2024…they even arrest President Trump’s lawyers.

    *Democrats have created the worst inflation in modern history, that is literally wiping out the middle class.

    *Democrats have added 86,000 new IRS agents. This is their personal Gestapo to target and attack conservatives.

    *Democrats are working day and night to kill the oil and gas industry, while driving electric and fuel prices to levels that will bankrupt the American people.

    *East Palestine and Maui have been destroyed. The government has abandoned the victims. Is your city next?

    *And then we come to Covid. If you’re not blind, you can see we are going back any day now to mask mandates, vaccine mandates, and quite possibly even lockdowns. Companies and schools will almost certainly start requiring the latest Covid booster- that has never been tested on a single human being.

    This is only a partial list. I could go on for days listing the evil, destruction and dysfunction happening in America.

    Democrats have no shame. They are throwing caution to the wind. They hate America. They are suicide bombers out to destroy America.

    But I want all of you to let this sink in…

    All of this happened with plenty of Republicans in positions of power.

    Can you even imagine what these communist suicide bombers will do to us if they achieve one party rule?

    All bets are off.

    I have no doubt they will outlaw all Republicans as “domestic terrorists.” PTA parents will be arrested. Free speech will be criminalized. All opinions counter to government will be cancelled and banned.

    Green energy will leave you with $2,000 electric bills and $12 per gallon gas. Social Credit Scores and Central Bank Digital Currency will be installed- conservatives will be de-banked and left in financial shambles. If the banks don’t leave conservatives penniless, 86,000 IRS agents will finish the job.

    Mass arrests will be carried out. Americans will be sent to re-education camps. Everyone will be locked down indefinitely, businesses closed, masks will be worn 24/7- in your car, outdoors, in your own home. We will all be forced vaccinated with a dangerous, deadly, poison vaccine.

    Until we are all compliant, intimidated, brainwashed, in prison, or dead.

    This is the America you can expect if Democrats take full power in 2024.

    We will be the last Republicans- EVER.

    A report on the dispersal of Joe Biden’s $42.45 billions Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) funding, meant to expand access for underserved and rural areas, shows that the funding is primarily favoring liberal cities and states.

    Internet for All shares BEAD’s stated goal of connecting everyone in America to reliable, affordable high-speed internet by the end of the decade.

    “High-speed Internet access isn’t a luxury. It’s needed to fully engage in the economy, and it helps ensure public safety and the health of our nation. Unfortunately, too many in America lack access to affordable, reliable high-speed Internet.”

    The program was implemented in June as part of the failed “Bidenomics” boondoggle despite the fact that, according to the Federal Communications Commission’s 2021 Broadband report, nearly 90 percent of Americans already had access to fixed terrestrial internet services in 2015.

    Joe Biden on Friday delivered brief remarks after auto workers went on strike.

    For the first time in the history of the 150,000-member United Auto Workers Union, members went on strike against the “Big 3” manufacturers at midnight Thursday night after no deal was reached.

    The “Big 3” include Ford, General Motors, and Stellantis, the newly-formed merger of Fiat Chrysler and the PSA Group.

    Just last week Joe Biden arrogantly brushed off a question about the looming auto strike.

    No, I’m not worried about [an auto workers] strike until it happens. I don’t think it’s going to happen,” Biden said to reporters on the tarmac in Philadelphia last week.

    At the end of his brief remarks, Biden made it clear to reporters that he would not be taking any questions: “Thank you very much. That’s all I’m going to say.”

    “At what point will you get directly involved in negotiations?” a reporter asked of the auto worker strike.

    “Should Hunter get a pardon, Mr. President!?” the reporter asked.

    Biden turned his back, walked away and shut the door.

    Hunter Biden was indicted on federal gun charges on Thursday.

    Hunter Biden was indicted in a Delaware court on three counts related to his possession of a firearm while using drugs.

    Hundreds of illegal immigrants were released on a street in San Diego, California on Thursday. Three unmarked white buses pulled up along 30th Street near the Iris Avenue Trolley Station and let them loose. According to reports, some of the illegals released in San Diego were from China, Pakistan, and even the Republic of Georgia!

    One of the illegals asked a border patrol agent, “Is it ok if I go to Chicago, no arrest?” The Border Patrol agent replied, “You are free to go.”

    Many of these illegals are military-aged men, which will guarantee a surge in crimes like theft and assault.

    “These are Biden’s buses, not Texas,” Fox News reporter Bill Melugin said.

    SAN DIEGO (Border Report) — Three white buses with no insignia or logos pulled up along 30th Street across from the Iris Avenue Trolley Station in South San Diego. Within minutes, hundreds of men and women started to unload.

    One vendor in the area, who said he normally sells burritos and sodas to trolley commuters, stated this is not the first time he has seen this happen this week.

    The people coming off the buses were all asylum seekers recently processed at Border Patrol stations in San Diego.

    A few Border Patrol agents stood outside and made sure everyone disembarked in an orderly and safe fashion.

    Within minutes, migrants scattered, although some did hang around trying to figure out where they were and how to leave the area.

    Border Report encountered a small group of migrants from China, three men from the Republic of Georgia and two ladies from Pakistan.

    The Department of Homeland Security is literally referring to the release of illegal aliens as “freedom runs.” With that kind of wording, that screams of the intention to flood our Nation with illegals.

    San Diego isn’t the only place this is happening. In Arizona’s Tucson sector, there are also mass releases going on. They cross over the border there and are released into the population, only to disappear throughout the country.

    Earlier this week Gateway had reported about a massive group of illegals marching into Lukeville, Arizona through the Southern Border. In one day, 2,000 illegals were caught by the Border Patrol in the Tucson sector.

    A daily invasion of our Southern Border with no concern for our safety or sovereignty. Some may dismiss it as incompetence, but truthfully, it’s a deliberate plan to destroy the US and its citizens.

    A video obtained by Fox News reporter Bill Melugin shows a massive group of illegal aliens crossing the US border through Lukeville, Arizona Tuesday night. Melugin said that according to his sources at Customs And Border Protection, the Border Patrol caught over 2,000 illegals in the Tucson area alone that day. Over 140 of them were from Senegal, and some others were from Ghana, Mauritania and Sudan.
