This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

    The Mexican cartel is in full control of the southern border,” Flores told Townhall. “This is a situation that we [people who live near the border] deal with on a daily basis.”

    “It’s the best time for terrorists to come into the country, because we don’t have border security,” she explained. “We have a federal government that refuses to enforce the law.”

    Wednesday declared illegal a revised version of a federal policy that prevents the deportation of hundreds of thousands of immigrants brought to the U.S. as children, he declined to order an immediate end to the program and the protections it offers to recipients.

    U.S. District Judge Andrew Hanen agreed with Texas and eight other states suing to stop the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, or DACA, program. The judge’s ruling was ultimately expected to be appealed to the U.S. Supreme Court, sending the program’s fate before the high court for a third time.

    “While sympathetic to the predicament of DACA recipients and their families, this Court has expressed its concerns about the legality of the program for some time,” Hanen wrote in his 40-page ruling. “The solution for these deficiencies lies with the legislature, not the executive or judicial branches. Congress, for any number of reasons, has decided not to pass DACA-like legislation … The Executive Branch cannot usurp the power bestowed on Congress by the Constitution — even to fill a void.”

    Calls justices ‘extremist’ for adhering to U.S. Constitution

    The U.S. Supreme Court is “extremist” for not allowing various government officials to simply overturn the U.S. Constitution’s Second Amendment and ban guns, or carrying guns, whenever they want.

    That is the verdict from Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., who is most popularly known for falsely claiming for years to be Native American, when she isn’t.

    According to a report at Breitbart, her comments arose because of an attempt by New Mexico Gov. Michelle Grisham to cancel the state’s gun laws and ban carrying a weapon in Albuquerque and Bernalillo County.

    Many experts have described Grisham’s attempted action as simply unconstitutional and even the state’s attorney general announced that office would not defend Grisham’s political move.

    In fact, across America, some of the highest gun crime rates are in cities and locales where the gun laws are the tightest.

    Breitbart reported on “CNN Primetime” that show host Abby Phillip asked Warren, “New Mexico’s governor, Michelle Lujan Grisham, a Democrat, she’s issued this temporary order that bans both open and concealed carry of firearms in Albuquerque and in the surrounding county. Do you believe that that is the right move? Do you think it’s even legal?”

    Warren refused to answer directly, launching into a long political statement:

    I want to put it this way: I think that our mayors and our governors have the hardest job in the world right now when it comes to gun violence. Keep in mind, for example, in the District of Columbia, a few years back, D.C. said, we just want to basically ban carrying guns, and good for D.C. They said it was going to bring down gun violence, and they were right. And then, an extremist United States Supreme Court said, nope, we’re not going to let you do it, and then Congress wouldn’t act to try to give them some of the tools to help fight gun violence. And yet, it’s those same governors and those same mayors who are then held responsible for the rise in violence. So, I say this, is they’re caught in the switches, and they’re doing everything they possibly can to reduce gun violence and to try to save the lives of our children, our neighbors, everyone.”

    Grisham claimed the power to abrogate the Constitution because, in her opinion, there was a “public health emergency.”

    Speaking to host Russell Brand, leftist Grayzone editor-in-chief Max Blumenthal pointed out that US Secretary of State Tony Blinken stands to “make a lot of money off this war“ through his company WestExec . Ukraine has been “drunk” off of “delusional fantasies out of Washington that they can somehow ‘win’,” Blumenthal said.

    “Tony Blinken was recently in Kiev for a more extended period than usual, probably to put the idea of negotiations on the table,” Blumenthal claimed. “This is because of the colossal failure of the Ukrainian counteroffensive, which the US has been heavily involved in.”

    The Gateway Pundit is one of the only media in the US reporting about the catastrophic Meat Grinder the US and UK pushed Ukraine into, which has cost approx. 72,000 Ukrainian casualties since June, according to Russian estimates. Blinken visited Kiev Sept. 6, where he met with Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba and President Volodymyr Zelensky, promising another $1 billion in US aid. US funds for Ukraine stand at $110.97 billion, Fox News reported on Tuesday.

    “They failed to capture any real territory. They were supposed to cut off the land bridge between Russia and Crimea, which is not going to happen,” Blumenthal said. “Soon there’s going to be rain in the eastern plains of the Donbass region, and it’s going to be impossible to get armor through there.”

    “It’s a total failure, so why can’t they negotiate?” Blumenthal asked. “Number one, why should Russia negotiate at this point, when the West has stabbed them… and sabotaged negotiations at every turn, leading to this proxy war? Back in April 2022, the US canceled negotiations between Zelensky and the Kremlin and said, ‘Keep fighting’. And they sabotaged the Minsk Accords before that. So why trust the West?”

    “And why negotiate when you could actually start capturing more and more territory?” Blumenthal asked, “Given the terrible state of Ukraine’s military and the hundreds of thousands of casualties they’ve suffered? They don’t have much left, apparently.”

    Blumenthal also pointed out that US Secretary of State Tony Blinken, “Has major skin in the game when it comes to continuing this war. He founded a firm called WestExec Advisors, which finesses contracts for the arms industry and Big Tech through the Pentagon and the State Department – him and his former colleagues from the Obama Administration founded this firm to profit off their connections with the major winners of the Ukraine proxy war: Raytheon, LockheedMartin, Palantir – all the Beltway Bandits, as we call them here in Washington.”

    Past WestExec partners have included DNI Avril Haines, former Biden spokeswoman Jen Psaki and CIA deputy director David Cohen, The Intercept reported 2021.

    “If Tony Blinken leaves government, he could make a lot of money off this war, as long as it’s still continuing,” Blumenthal said. “That could be a frozen conflict, where Ukraine is just constantly at war with Russia and its entire society is securitized and mobilized. The tech industry is gonna love that as well because everyone’s gonna be under surveillance, drones and cameras everywhere.”

    “Why would they want to end this conflict?” the son of Clinton adviser Sidney Blumenthal asked. “They’re the real winners of this war.”

    The Grayzone editor Blumenthal criticized “the hatred of Russia that prevails among the Democratic Party foreign policy elite, but also within the Republican Party, the idea that we can’t ‘lose’ this war, that this is about ‘Democracy’.”

    “There’s all these obstacles to negotiations,” Blumenthal said, “but obviously the war isn’t going well. There’s no progress for Ukraine in this war. They should’ve negotiated over a year ago, but they’ve been drunk off of these delusional fantasies spun out of Washington that they can somehow ‘win’, when Victory’s never even defined.”

  14. Attorney Defending Constitutional Rights Receives Standing Ovation for Her Oral Arguments Against NY Gov. Kathy Hochul’s Tyrannical Quarantine Camp Lawsuit Appeal (VIDEO)

    A remarkable moment unfolded in a New York courtroom on Wednesday as Attorney Bobbie Anne Flower Cox, who is representing petitioners against Governor Kathy Hochul’s administration, received a standing ovation for her impassioned oral arguments.

    Cox was defending the rights of New Yorkers against draconian and unconstitutional isolation and quarantine camps initially implemented by the Department of Health.

    The lawsuit was originally filed in April 2022 in the State Supreme Court of Cattaraugus County. Petitioners include State Senator George Borrello, Assemblyman Chris Tague, Congressman Michael Lawler, and the organization Uniting NYS.

    The regulation in question allows for mandating isolation and quarantine orders for individuals without concrete proof that they are sick or have been exposed to diseases listed in the regulation. This regulation granted Department of Health bureaucrats the ability to force indefinite isolation and quarantine upon citizens of any age for any reason.

    In a significant win for constitutional freedoms, NYS Supreme Court Judge Ronald Ploetz ruled in favor of the Republican state senators, deeming the regulation unconstitutional.

    The ruling led to an immediate appeal filed by New York Attorney General Letitia James on behalf of the Hochul Administration and Department of Health to overthrow the Supreme Court Judge’s ruling.

    During the Wednesday hearing, Cox took aim at the overreaching powers given to the Commissioner of Health. She forcefully stated that the rule granted “unbridled power to pick and choose which New Yorkers could be locked up,” without any proof of sickness or exposure to a communicable disease.

    Cox went on to point out that there were no age restrictions, meaning anyone—children, the elderly—could be subjected to forced isolation or quarantine.

    “Does the Department of Health have to follow New York state law when they want to remove someone from society who is a public health threat? The answer to that overwhelmingly clear question is yes. Of course, the Department of Health has to follow the law. If they don’t have to follow the law, then what’s the point of having the New York State legislature?” Cox argued as the room erupted in applause as she concluded her remark.

    Cox’s arguments symbolize a broader fight to preserve the constitutional rights of American citizens. The concern is that the pandemic has been used as an excuse to enact policies that unduly infringe upon individual freedoms.

    A ruling from the five-judge panel is expected within the next few months.

  18. Brutal Marijuana Studies Now Emerging – It Should Never Have Been Fully Legalized

    For years, marijuana advocates claimed that if only America would loosen restrictions, we’d all see how beneficial the drug is. But now, more than 10 years after the first efforts to do just that, we are seeing that the critics were right. Liberal pot laws and increased usage are far from the panacea pot-lovers claimed.

    Starting back in 2012, Colorado passed a law to allow private use of marijuana. Soon the state of Washington joined the Centennial State in loosening its pot laws. And many more came in the following years, especially when the states began to realize it could tax “legal” marijuana and bring millions into their state treasuries.

    Now even the federal government is looking to loosen the reins and is preparing to take pot off its Schedule One prohibitions, a move said to be the first step in decriminalizing marijuana.

    But now these states are finding that it is time to pay the piper, as a raft of ill-effects are spreading like wildfire all across the country. From mental illness to addiction and impaired driving, the effects on many are not as beneficial as advocates claimed.

    There do seem to be a very few beneficial uses for pot for a small number of people. It does help in pain relief for the chronically afflicted, it can help with nausea from chemotherapies and it is sometimes effective for those with anxiety. But all those benefits are limited and are far outweighed by the deleterious effects seen when widespread use is factored in, according to a raft of new studies reported by the Daily Mail.

    With a pool of more than 40 million pot users to look at, researchers are finding that recreational use of the drug is becoming an increasing problem everywhere it is being tried.

    As the Mail noted, researchers from the Aarhus University Hospital in Denmark have found that despite claims by pot advocates, the drug is just as addictive as any other drug. And 41 percent of users have developed major problems with depression.

    The research found that chronic marijuana use quadrupled risk of developing a bipolar disorder and added to a rise in psychotic breaks, including thoughts of, and deaths by, suicide, with pot linked to 30 percent of cases of schizophrenia.

    The researchers added that people who already have a propensity for these mental disorders often find that pot makes them worse, not better.

    That is nothing like the benign effects pot advocates claimed we’d be seeing.

    Pot advocates also claimed that one can’t really become addicted to the drug. This has also been revealed as false.

    “New research from University of Washington and Kaiser Permanente Washington Health Research Institute estimates 21 percent of marijuana users had become addicted,” the Mail reported, adding that at least four million Americans have developed “marijuana use disorder” since pot became so much easier to get.

    Another claim that many advocates have made is that pot will calm you and make sleep come easier. This is also not true, studies have found.

    “A 2021 study in the journal BMJ reported adults who used cannabis 20 or more times in the previous month were more likely than non-users to get six or fewer hours of sleep per night,” the Mail reported. In addition, 39 percent of daily pot users developed clinical insomnia.

    An even more alarming study says that pregnant women will put themselves at a 70 percent higher risk of birth defects if they regularly use pot during pregnancy, and they will be 2.3 times more susceptible to a stillbirth.

    Also, “A 2022 study published in JAMA Pediatrics found prenatal cannabis exposure after five to six weeks of pregnancy is associated with attention, social and behavioral problems that persist into early adolescence,” the Mail reported.

    Finally, the evidence seems irrefutable that heavy pot smoking is just as bad on your body as heavy tobacco smoking. Smoking anything — pot or tobacco — increases the risk of coronary artery disease and also puts users at an increased risk of lung disease.

    A study from Canada found that “three-quarters of marijuana users had emphysema – a lung disease which leaves sufferers struggling to breathe — compared to two-thirds of tobacco users,” the Mail wrote.

    While it might be a better idea to go to a prescription model, where only seriously ill people are able to gain access to pot, it seems clear that recreational and non-medicinal use has had detrimental effects on Americans.

      People who have substance abuse issues are more likely to experience clinical depression and other ills. They may be self-medicating.

    A Hungarian citizen has filed charges with Hungarian police and prosecutors after The Gateway Pundit contributor Larry Johnson stated that the CIA attempted to interfere in the 2022 Hungarian elections and remove Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán from power, Hungarian newspaper Magyar Nemzet reports.

    Private Hungarian citizen István Tényi wrote to police and prosecutors, asking that they investigate whether the Hungarian opposition accepted illegal foreign campaign donations from US government funded Soros-aligned NGO Action for Democracy.

    Last week, a national telethon hosted by the Gateway Pundit (donate HERE) was held for the everyday citizens who were chosen by their communities to represent them as MI GOP electors in the 2020 election. These electors have now been charged with 8 felonies each for the so-called “crime” of casting an ALTERNATE slate of electoral votes for President Trump in the 2020 election.

    After the DOJ passed on indicting the 16 MI GOP electors, Michigan’s radical Democrat Attorney General Dana Nessel took it upon herself to use lawfare press to punish the Trump supporters by criminally charging them. And in Ingham County, MI, where the electors’ cases are being tried, a newly uncovered memo from 2021 shows the Ingham County Prosecutor Andrew Stevens, calling the alternate slate of electoral votes cast by the 16 MI GOP electors a “political stunt,” that is not worthy of any charges.

    In his April 26, 2021, memo to then-Ingham County Prosecutor Carol Siemon, Stevens said one of the forgery laws in question was about property crimes and didn’t apply to the situation. Another law against election-related forgery required there to be an “intent to defraud.” But Stevens wrote there was “not any evidence” at the time to prove the false electors had that intention.

    “Based on the current evidence, I question whether we can sustain our burden of proof on this element,” Stevens wrote. “They were holding themselves out to be something they were not, so it may be assumed that they intended to defraud or cheat.

    “However, there is not any evidence that proves this element.”

    Stevens added later in the memo, “Based on my review of the evidence and legal authority, I do not recommend authorizing charges against the 16 Republican candidates for electors.”

    In other words, the DOJ did not find any crimes worth pursuing against the 16 electors and the now-former Ingham County Prosecutor, where the case is being tried, agreed that no crimes were committed, yet AG Nessel and Michigan’s dishonest SOS Jocelyn Benson have both made public statements claiming that it would be considered “political” if Nessel didn’t charge them with crimes—say what?

    To date, the telethon has raised just over $150,000 of the $200,000 goal that will be shared evenly between the 15 electors (13 of whom are senior citizens) who are facing financial devastation because of the massive fees they will pay their criminal defense lawyers.

    Despite the lack of support from Michigan resident and RNC Chair Ronna Romney-McDaniels, several heavy hitters in the Republican Party and outspoken conservative personalities showed up to highlight the importance of supporting these individuals who are facing potential life sentences in prison.

    Former AZ governor candidate Kari Lake also warned about how MI AG Nessel is “weaponizing” her position and using it to go after her political opponents to “throw them in prison for the rest of their lives.”

    Hollywood actor and producer Nick Searcy, who has never been shy about his conservative beliefs, spoke out about the seriousness of Democrats using their positions to punish everyday Americans. Searcy, who is starring in Dinesh D’Souza’s upcoming movie, “Police State,” which reveals how the Left is wielding their power to falsely accuse and imprison innocent Americans, told hosts Matt Seely of MCC and radio host Justin Barclay “We have to speak up—because the reason they are doing this to these people is to silence everyone else.”

    Searcy hit the nail on the head. MI AG Dana Nessel and MI SOS Jocelyn Benson have been sending a strong message since the 2020 election—if you question the election or attempt to expose us in any way, you will pay a steep price.

    The “Justified” actor and producer of “Capitol Punishment,“ a powerful documentary that exposes the truth about what happened on Jan 6, retweeted the clip from the telethon where he talks about the Americans who became targets of their own government after Jan 6. Searcy discusses the seriousness of the two accused men who’ve committed suicide, and how the “process” is actually the “punishment” for those who are caught in the crosshairs of our corrupt government officials:

    Trump Attorney John Eastman, who has been caught up in the fake charges against President Trump and his attorneys in Georgia by radical Fulton Co. DA Fani Willis, was also a guest on the telethon. During his appearance, Dr. Eastman implored citizens to support the MI electors who face losing their retirement savings to defend themselves. Eastman talked about the enormous fees he will be forced to pay to defend himself and compared them to the costs these everyday Americans will have to pay to clear their good names.

During his appearance, the outspoken conservative personality revealed the stunning hypocrisy of the Left calling what the electors did a “crime,” considering how many times they’ve done the same thing without ever being charged. Farash, like the other guests who appeared on the telethon, also warned about the lawfare that’s being used to silence Americans into submission.

    Steve Bannon was also a guest on the Save The Electors telethon immediately following his War Room Show to support the alternate electors.

    Curiously, AG Nessel, who claimed the MI GOP electors knew there was no path to victory for Donald J. Trump because there were no successful election fraud lawsuits or evidence of widespread voter fraud in the state of Michigan, neglected to mention the ongoing multi-city, turned multi-state, voter registration fraud investigation that her own department was involved with that began ONE MONTH before the 2020 election.

    The ALTERNATE electors in Michigan are being charged with 8 felonies each, which could mean spending the rest of their lives is prison if AG Nessel has her way. Democrats used the exact same tactic that Democrats attempted in the 2016 election.

    They also employed the exact same tactic the Democrats promoted as a contingency in case they lost in 2020.

    The 16 electors are charged with:

    Two counts of Forgery, a 14-year felony,
    One count of Conspiracy to Commit Uttering and Publishing, a 14-year felony,
    One count of Uttering and Publishing, a 14-year felony,
    One count of Conspiracy to Commit Election Law Forgery, a 5-year felony, and
    Two counts of Election Law Forgery, a 5-year felony.

    Radical Attorney General Nessel has a history of using her office to silence political opposition. In 2020 she threatened to prosecute an independent journalist for reporting on #DetroitLeaks, which were a series of undercover recordings that captured partisan activity during Detroit poll worker training.

    These 16 electors are everyday Americans, all but one is a senior citizen. They love their country and are being targeted by their Democrat AG because they dared to support President Trump. To Dana Nessel, they are guilty of the crime of being effective political opposition.

    Democratic knife-fighter David Brock is going on the offensive again, disseminating opposition research to various news outlets regarding the family members of various congressional Republicans—and not just the committee members who are investigating the president and his son, Hunter Biden. “Gloves are off, families are on,” Brock told me. “We’ve been looking into how the children of those same members may have benefited from their parents’ position. We’re not shy about going after the members.”

    Facts First, Brock’s super PAC, has been the main communications apparatus to defend Hunter in G.O.P. inquiries and a possible impeachment. It’s the type of unseemly work that the White House doesn’t want to touch, given that Hunter is a drag on the administration. Yet it’s also the kind of dirty work that Biden, as a father, has expressed appreciation for—causing a natural friction between these outside groups and the White House.

    Back in March, I wrote that Brock and his PAC were investing in research on the G.O.P. investigators, like House Judiciary Chair Jim Jordan and House Oversight Chair Jim Comer. Brock’s fingerprints ultimately ended up in long features in The New York Times—including one piece about Comer that mentions tawdry allegations of abuse and an abortion. Brock said to expect some of their work to be published in the coming week.

      The White House sent a letter to top US news executives on Wednesday, urging them to intensify their scrutiny of House Republicans after Speaker Kevin McCarthy launched an impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden, despite having found no evidence of a crime.

      “It’s time for the media to ramp up its scrutiny of House Republicans for opening an impeachment inquiry based on lies,” Ian Sams, a spokesperson for the White House Counsel’s Office, wrote in the letter, which was first obtained by CNN.

      The letter, which said an impeachment inquiry with no supporting evidence should “set off alarm bells for news organizations,” was sent to executives helming the nation’s largest news organizations, including CNN, The New York Times, Fox News, the Associated Press, CBS News, and others, a White House official familiar with the matter said.

      The correspondence comes one day after McCarthy announced that he had directed three House committees to begin an impeachment inquiry into Biden.

    Buying of yen-denominated gold at the nation’s largest dealer has driven the price of the yellow metal above the ¥10,000 per gramme level for the first time in recent days. It was trading at ¥10,100 last week, according to retail prices published by Tanaka Kikinzoku, one of Japan’s largest gold retailers.

    A train car carrying the hazardous chemical perchloric acid exploded today in Union Pacific Railroad’s Bailey Yard in North Platte, Nebraska, setting off a massive evacuation order covering a four-mile radius, Daily Mail reported.

    The North Platte Volunteer Fire Department issued an urgent evacuation notice via social media, stating: “Emergency evacuation for the area between Splinter and Front North of railroad track due fire at the railroad involving heavy toxic smoke.”

    The post went on to say that the explosion happened at approximately 12:10 pm local time. A subsequent message warned that additional residences should prepare for evacuation due to changing wind and weather conditions.

    Apparently, the media isn’t going to move Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis from his promise to deploy military hardware to the southern border and use it against cartel members if he becomes president.

    In part of a Tuesday interview with Norah O’Donnell on the “CBS Evening News” — during what Politico referred to as a “tense exchange” — DeSantis said he wouldn’t rule out launching missiles into Mexico to attack drug cartels were he president.
