Reader’s Links for September 12th, 2023

Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

  1. The Frightened Left
    33 Comments / September 11, 2023
    Victor Davis Hanson
    American Greatness

An impeachment inquiry looms and the shrieks of outrage are beginning.

The Left is now suddenly voicing warnings that those who recently undermined the system could be targeted by their own legacies.

So, for example, now we read why impeachment is suddenly a dangerous gambit.

True, the Founders did not envision impeaching a first-term president the moment he lost his House majority. Nor did they imagine impeaching a president twice. And they certainly did not anticipate trying an ex-president in the Senate as a private citizen.

In modern times, the nation has not rushed to impeach a president without a special counsel investigation to determine whether the chief executive was guilty of “Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.”

But thanks to the Democrats, recent impeachments now have destroyed all those guardrails. After all, Trump was impeached the first time on the fumes of an exhaustive but fruitless 22-month, $40 million special counsel investigation—one designed to find him guilty of Russian “collusion” and thus to be removed from office but found no actionable offenses at all.

Instead, dejected Democrats moved immediately for a second try. In September 2019 a few weeks after Trump had announced his 2020 reelection bid, the Democratic House began to impeach the president on the new grounds that he had talked to the President Zelensky of Ukraine and said he might delay offensive arms shipments—unless the Ukrainians could demonstrate that they had ended corruption and, in particular, were no longer influenced by the Biden family quid pro quo shakedowns.

Trump was proven right: the Biden family is not just corrupt, but, in particular, Joe Biden as head of the family and Vice President had intervened in the internal politics of an aid recipient, by threatening not to delay but rather to cancel outright all U.S. aid to Ukraine—unless it fired Viktor Shokin, a Ukrainian prosecutor.

Shokin was then looking into the misadventures of Biden’s son Hunter, and why the Vice President’s imbecilic son was receiving lucrative compensation on the boards of a Ukrainian energy company Burisma, yet without any demonstrable expertise or education in matters of energy policy.

Since Trump was impeached, we now know that Joe Biden did lie that he had no connection with or even knowledge of his son’s business. And we know that the fired prosecutor believed the Bidens were recipients of bribes. We know that contrary to Biden’s assertions, he was not following State Department policy.

In contrast, the U.S. had, in fact, lauded Shokin’s efforts to repress corruption. In sum, Biden was undermining the stated policy of the U.S. government to protect his son’s—and his own—efforts to leverage money from Kyiv by monetizing the influence of his own Vice Presidency. In some sense, Biden was guilty of the very “treason” charge—altering U.S. foreign policy for personal benefit—by which Rep. Adam Schiff had earlier falsely accused Trump.

Given that reality, it is easy to argue that the House impeached Donald Trump in 2019 for crimes that he did not commit, but which the current president Joe Biden most certainly had during his Vice Presidency.

But weaponizing impeachment is just one baleful legacy of the Left. There are plenty more of their own precedents that Leftists now would not wish to have applied to themselves:

Will the next president have the FBI pay social media censors to suppress the dissemination of any news it feels is unhelpful to the reelection of a Republican president?
Is it OK now for the next Vice President to invite his son onto Air Force Two to cement multimillion dollars deals that benefit both, with Chinese, Russian, and Ukrainian oligarchs who enjoy government ties?
Should a conservative billionaire stealthily insert $419 million late in the 2024 campaign to absorb the work of registrars in key voting precincts?
If a Democratic president wins the 2024 election should conservative groups riot at the Capitol on Inauguration Day? Should a conservative celebrity yell out to the assembled crowd of protestors that she dreams of blowing up the White House? And if a Republican wins, should he prosecute any Democratic rioters who once again swarm Washington on Inauguration Day and charge them with “insurrection,” meting out long prisons sentences to the convicted?
Is Joe Biden now vulnerable to being impeached for systematic family corruption, or using the Department of Justice to obstruct the prosecution of his son in his last days in office, and then being tried in the Senate as a private citizen?
If the Republicans gain the Senate, will they move to end the filibuster in agreement with Democratic assertions that it is “racist” and a “Jim Crow relic”?
If the midwestern Electoral College “Blue Wall” seems to reappear, or if Georgia, Arizona, and Nevada recreate new blue walls, will there be a conservative effort to end the constitutionally mandated Electoral College?
If in 2024 there is a narrow Democratic win in the Electoral College, should conservative celebrities conspire to run ads urging the electors to reject their constitutional duties and not vote in accordance with their state’s popular vote that went Democratic? Should a Republican third-party candidate sue to stop a state’s selection of its electors on grounds the voting machines were rigged?
If Supreme Court decisions begin to appear to favor the left, will Republicans talk of packing the court, or have the DOJ turn a blind eye when mobs began to swarm the homes of liberal justices? Should the conservative media go after liberal judges with serial accusations of corruption? Should the Republican Senate leader assemble a mob of pro-life protestors at the doors of the court and call out Justices Sotomayor or Jackson by name, with threats that they will soon reap the whirlwind they have sowed, given they have no idea of what is about to “hit” them? Should conservative legal scholars urge the country to ignore Supreme Court decisions deemed liberal?
Will local prosecutors in red jurisdictions begin filing criminal charges against leading Democratic candidates on various charges, among them accusations of old inflated real estate assessments, campaign finance laws, questioning ballot results, or taking classified documents home? If Joe Biden or Hillary Clinton were to run in 2024, will their past illicit behavior gain the attention of a city or state attorney in Utah, West Virginia, or Wyoming?
If Joe Biden continues to decline at his present rate, will Republicans demand he be given the Montreal Cognitive Assessment? Will they subpoena Ivy League psychiatrists to testify that an intervention is needed to remove him from office? And will an FBI director and a deputy Attorney General plan to wear wires, and record Biden in his private moments of senility, as a way of convincing the cabinet or Congress that he is demonstrably mentally unfit for office?
In the 2024 election, should the Republican nominee hire a foreign ex-spy to compile falsehoods about the Democratic opponent and then seed them among the media, and Department of Justice? Should the FBI hire such a Republican contractor and likewise use him to gather dirt on the Democratic nominee?
If there appears incriminating evidence concerning a Republican nominee, should the FBI retrieve such evidence, keep it under wraps, lie about its veracity, and instead go along with media and ex-intelligence officers assertions that it is a fraudulent production of Russian intelligence?
Will conservative CIA and FBI directors, and the Director of National Intelligence be given exemptions from prosecutions for systematically lying while under oath in Congress or to federal investigators?
Will conservative celebrities ritually on social media, without fear of censorship, brag about ways of decapitating, shooting, stabbing, burning, or blowing up the Democratic nominee?
Since in many states the statues of limitations have not yet expired for arson, murder, assault, looting, and attacks on 1,500 police officers during the summer 2020 riots, will state prosecutors now begin identifying those 14,000 once arrested and mostly released, and begin refiling charges of conspiracy, racketeering—and “insurrection”?
Will they also file insurrection charges against those who torched a federal courthouse, a police precinct, and a historic Washington DC church, or conspired to riot and swarm the White House grounds in an effort to attack the President of the United States?
Will they file charges against Vice President Kamala Harris for “inciting” ongoing violent demonstrations with monotonous, emphatic, and repetitive threats in the weeks before her nomination? Contrary to liberal “fact checkers” at time of nationwide violence, Harris certainly did not distinguish violent from non-violent protests, but in fact implied that they were intimately tied to the upcoming election and beyond. So given the hundreds of police officers injured, the hundreds of millions in property damage, and the dozens killed, what exactly did Harris mean by tying that ongoing summer of often violent protests to Election Day?:
“But they’re not gonna stop. They’re not gonna stop, and this is a movement, I’m telling you. They’re not gonna stop, and everyone beware, because they’re not gonna stop. They’re not gonna stop before Election Day in November, and they’re not gonna stop after Election Day. Everyone should take note of that, on both levels, that they’re not going to let up — and they should not. And we should not

  2. AOC Shares Video Claiming Inflation is ‘Propaganda’ and Now Some of Her Constituents Are Questioning Her Sanity

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez recently shared a video with her followers on Instagram that disputes the crippling inflation Americans are struggling with and suggesting it’s just propaganda.

AOC and others on the far left can’t admit that inflation is a real problem because that would be admitting a failure of Joe Biden and the Democrats.

In AOC’s district, where many people are struggling just like other Americans all over the country, some are starting to question her sanity.

    The New York Post reported:

AOC’s constituents slam her claim inflation is propaganda: ‘Is she crazy?’

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez might want her followers to believe inflation is “propaganda” — but her constituents aren’t buying it.

The firebrand Democratic congresswoman used her Instagram stories to share a video from New Zealand’s left-wing Aotearoa Liberation League in which an activist claimed the “propaganda” surrounding inflation was designed to protect “greedy shareholders,” who are truly to blame for the rising cost of living.

  3. Miracles do happen. Imagine if we snapped our fingers and the polarity of our times could be instantly reversed. Throw a switch and real morality and truth replaced the mock chicken we are fed. What would our world look like?

Yesterday as I was driving my daughter to her friend’s house traffic was stopped by a police motorcade. The cop bikes in all their very serious, efficient ceremony were doing their hopscotch trick of blocking intersections ahead of some world leader heading to the airport. In our case we were the first vehicle halted at the Pretoria bridge at the Rideau Canal. The motorcycle cop was not more than six feet from my window. Flashing lights and sirens stopped everyone dead with an impressive show of authority. We were stuck.

As an aside, last night I watched a Western on YT called Purgatory. A friend had recommended it. I won’t go into it, but the miracle there was that firstly, there wasn’t a single commercial and secondly, it was good enough to temporarily suspend the disbelief of non-believers in the audience. Come to think of it seeing this movie on YT was itself something supernatural. “…The Creator may be tough,” says the undertaker, “but he ain’t blind….” He says this as four men who have just redeemed their morality are heading to Hell. The big guy steps in to say not so fast, these hombres are goin’ to Heaven.

Back at my mini intersection of life I motioned to the cop asking if I can just take this little right turn here and be on my way, escaping all this nonsense. He held up his hand with a friendly smile to say not yet, just wait. My daughter snapped some photos with her phone. The Harley motorcycles are impressive with their weighty rumble. They whipped by at high speed, expert riders all, watching out for terrorists and bombers and snipers and probably truckers and bouncy castles all other threats imaginable, I imagined.

Finally a black limousine approached with blue and red strobes flashing. Then a black van. We here in the capital know this is a sign we will soon be released from our motoring purgatory. Another limo sped by, a couple of more vans, and then the cop beside me began to adjust his helmet microphone and remount his bike. It was then that I remembered something I’d heard on the news in the morning, and so I blurted at the cop without thinking, “I thought the idiot was stuck in India!”

With a big friendly smile the policeman looked at me and replied, “It doesn’t matter. We’re just practicing!” Then he zoomed away. Mock chicken.

Miracles. I wasn’t arrested for my intransigent outburst. Oh, by now I am perfectly aware of the Hegelian drill that reminds us there is no stupid and no idiots–the ptb know what they are doing. Still, I say it because it satisfies.

    • The US tax code is so complicated that it has sections that contradict each other. Any computer program that looks at tax returns and the code would crash because of the contradictions. When I took tax accounting every class after a test was us arguing/negotiating on what the correct answer to the questions were. If you had a good enough argument your grade was changed.

  4. “I Couldn’t Take it Anymore. I Just Couldn’t Take Standing There With Them” – Rudy Guliani Walks Out on 9-11 Ceremony After Kamala Disgraces Memory of the 2,977 Victims (VIDEO)
    By Jim Hoft Sep. 12, 2023 8:00 am366 Comments

Benny Johnson interviewed America’s Mayor Rudy Giuliani on the 22nd Anniversary of the 9-11 Attacks on America.

On Monday Rudy Giuliani attended the anniversary ceremony at Ground Zero. Rudy, who led the city following the deadly attacks, stood out from the other failed leaders in attendance.
    Via Jack Posobiec.

Much has changed since the 9-11 attacks on America in 2001. Joe Biden and Mark Milley surrendered Afghanistan back to the Taliban in 2021. And the US has become a police state where traditionally patriotic American citizens are now viewed as the enemies of the state and where grandmas have their homes stormed by FBI goons and are thrown in prison for months for walking in open doors on the US Capitol.

And, Mayor Rudy Giuliani – a hero on 9-11 – is now viewed as an enemy of the state by the Biden regime.

Rudy spoke with Benny Johnson on Monday after the ceremony at 9-11 earlier in the day.

Benny Johnson: You were standing very close to Kamala Harris?

Rudy Giuliani: Well, I wasn’t too close. I mean, they don’t put those of us who had anything to do with September 11 too close to the ones that had the main attention were the ones who weren’t there when it happened, had very little to do with it, and are now making America much more unsafe than it was then. By allowing anybody to come in that wants to come in, namely, any terrorist that wants to come in.

Benny Johnson: …Kamala Harris just moments ago was saying that January 6 is just like September 11. This is a day that will live in infamy.

Rudy Giuliani: It was hard to be there. Benny, what would you have said to her? I’ve gone every year since. This is the year where I couldn’t really stay. I almost felt like I wasn’t being true to the memory of the people who died on that day to be with this group. No administration has ever done the damage that this group has done. I was there all through the Obama administration. I could deal with that. But to have Harris and I mean, these people are allowing an invasion of the United States to take place. And probably more than most, I have a pretty good idea of how the Islamic terrorists are taking advantage of this. Just think if you were running an Islamic terrorist group and you knew that you could get anyone you wanted into the United States, anyone, just pay the cartels who you’ve been doing business with for 25 years, and they’ll get them in for you, no questions asked, would you take advantage of that? You wouldn’t be much of an Islamic terrorist if you didn’t. So they have sold us out.

I mean, they’ve sold us out to China. They sold us out to the Islamic terrorists. They sold us out to the cartels, whether it’s Biden or Mayorkas or Harris. So after about a half hour, 45 minutes, Bernie and I decided to leave and go to a different ceremony.

Benny Johnson: So you decided to just walk because you just couldn’t stand being there.

Rudy Giuliani: I couldn’t take it anymore. I just couldn’t take standing there with them and all the terrible thoughts going through my mind about how they have double-crossed not only the people that gave up their lives that day, but all the people since then that have been fighting terrorism for us. And now we just have a completely open border so that any Islamic terrorist extremist ever wants to come in and come in or so that China can kill even more of us with fentanyl. Why does China have to have a shooting war with us? They can kill 100,000 of us a year without firing a gun. They just send in fentanyl and we take it and Biden does nothing about it. Biden has actually done away with the special unit to focus on Chinese who were infiltrating our organizations and our universities. When I say it’s the strongest bribery case I’ve ever seen, I’m somebody who prosecuted some of the most famous bribery cases of the 20th century. I’m not speaking lightly. I’ve never had a case, benny, with the amount of evidence that you have against the Biden family, it’s so much evidence that the main key in trying that case would be having the discipline to pare it down.

Benny Johnson: …I would like to spend one more second on a specific piece of incredibly odious and vena commentary by Kamala Harris as it pursuant September 11 effectively standing on the graves of nearly 3000 Americans who died that day, saying that it is the same as January 6. What is your commentary on that, Mr. Mayor?

Rudy Giuliani: My commentary is that there is something seriously wrong with her. We failed to take a good look of what was seriously wrong with Biden and look what we got. There’s something seriously wrong with Kamala Harris, those language soup that she engages in, which almost is like a five-year-old speaking. And that’s not normal. To try to compare January 6 to September 11. How do you even seriously do that? 3000 people just about died on September 11. Could be another 3000 pretty much pretty soon. With the illnesses thereafter, I think we’re at about 2734 right now. People are dying every day of related illnesses. It was a direct attack on the United States of America by a foreign enemy. None of New York City police officers killed anyone that day. In their case, a Capitol police officer killed an innocent person for no reason – shot at death. The shooting that took place, to me is a first-degree murder case that I’d be more than happy to prosecute against that cop. The thing was exaggerated way out of proportion. They said four people died. Nobody died except for the protesters. No gun was used. There’s been no charge of insurrection.

  5. President Trump Responds to Joe Biden’s Latest Multi-Billion Dollar Payoff to Iranian Regime – Urges Congress to Call Out 25th Amendment and Remove Incompetent Joe from Office
    By Jim Hoft Sep. 12, 2023 9:00 am99 Comments

As reported earlier – On the 22nd Anniversary of the 9-11 attacks on America, Joe Biden finalized a deal to send $6 billion and 5 Iranian prisoners in the US to the Iranian government in exchange for as many as five detained US dual nationals held by the brutal regime.

Iran is one of the top state sponsors of terrorism and has been for several years.

Biden regime lackey John Hudson reported the news at The Washington Post.

The Biden administration has issued a waiver for banks to transfer $6 billion in frozen Iranian oil funds without fear of U.S. sanctions — a key step in securing the release of five American citizens detained in Iran, people familiar with the matter said. As a part of the arrangement, the administration will release five Iranian citizens detained in the United States.

Congress was notified of the move on Monday, and it’s likely to come as a relief to U.S. prisoners’ families and supporters, many of whom have waited several years for the return of the detainees. It also is expected to come under harsh criticism from Republicans in Congress opposed to any agreement that allows for the release of frozen Iranian funds, money that is being transferred from South Korea to Qatar and limited for the purchase of humanitarian goods like food or medicine.

The deal marks a major breakthrough for the longtime adversaries who remain at loggerheads over a range of issues, including the rapid expansion of Tehran’s nuclear program, its ongoing military support for Russia and Iran’s harsh crackdown on dissent.

The Iranians used Barack Obama’s ransom payment to fund their military. It won’t be any different this time.

This 9-11 Anniversary deal comes after Joe Biden surrendered to the Taliban and gave them over $80 billion in US military equipment as reparations.

President Trump responded to this latest insanity on Truth Social.

President Trump: “So, lets get this straight! We did a hostage TRADE with Iran. We gave them 5 very tough, smart people that they desperately wanted. We likewise got back 5 people BUT, we also gave them 6 BILLION DOLLARS! How much of a kickback does Crooked Joe Biden get? Does anyone realize how much money 6 Billion Dollars is? When I was President, I got back 58 hostages for ZERO money. Remember Pastor Brunson? It sets a TERRIBLE precedent. Republicans, call out the 25th Amendment, NOW! Biden is INCOMPETENT!”

    By Jordan Conradson Sep. 12, 2023 8:45 am69 Comments

Kari Lake’s attorneys are in the Ninth Circuit of Appeals today in their lawsuit against the Arizona Secretary of State and the fraud-ridden voting machines in Arizona.

The Gateway Pundit previously reported that Kari Lake’s lawsuit against Katie Hobbs to prohibit the use of electronic voting machines in the 2022 Midterm Elections was dismissed last August by corrupt Obama Judge John Tuchi, alleging that Lake did not have the standing to bring the case.

In May, The Gateway Pundit reported on explosive findings by Kari Lake’s legal team, including that Maricopa County employees engaged in the secret and illegal reconfiguration and testing of voting machines and printers after they were certified and before the election. This caused voting machines and ballot printers to fail at 59% of voting locations targeting Republicans on Election Day.

This illegal testing occurred with no documentation or logging of tamper-evident seals in violation of the Elections Procedures Manual and the law. It was also conducted after the statutorily required October 11 testing, and the legally required public notice was not given. In the video from October 14, the reprogrammed ballot tabulators can be seen jamming as employees test them, just as they did on Election Day

The decision has raised concerns about the transparency of the investigation, as local residents question whether this “independent investigation” will indeed remain impartial.

  9. EXCLUSIVE: Homeland Security awards $20 million in grants to police, mental health networks, universities, churches and school districts to help identify Americans as potential ‘extremists’
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security announced on September 6 that $20 million in federal grants (your tax dollars) will be handed out to 34 organizations to “prevent targeted violence and terrorism.”

Since today is the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, you might think these 34 organizations will be focused on al-Qaeda, ISIS or the Iranian Republican Guard Corps. But you would be wrong. They are focused on Americans who dissent from the prevailing narratives coming out of the federal government and its collaborating partners in the corporate media and major social media platforms.

Whether it’s Covid and vaccines, the war in Ukraine, immigration, the Second Amendment, LGBTQ ideology and child-gender confusion, the integrity of our elections, or the issue of protecting life in the womb, you are no longer allowed to hold dissenting opinions and voice them publicly in America. If you do, your own government will take note and consider you a potential “violent extremist” and terrorist.

The $20 million is going to universities, behavioral and mental-health providers, youth services organizations, schools, churches and faith leaders, and state law enforcement agencies. Their job will be to identify political dissidents and foster interventions among those Americans considered to be “going down a path toward violence.”

This money comes from the Department of Homeland Security Center for Prevention Programs and Partnerships, or CP3. The program was started in fiscal 2020 and has to date awarded $70 million in grants to private nonprofits, state and local government agencies.

The following is from the Department of Homeland Security press release announcing the $20 million in new grants (notice the emphasis on public health, which is the same emphasis used by the U.N. The nurse practitioner and 40-year-old mother of two is running for a highly competitive seat in suburban Richmond.

Gibson on Monday rejected calls for her to drop out of the race, and said the exposure of the videos was ‘an illegal invasion of my privacy designed to humiliate me and my family.’

‘It won’t intimidate me and it won’t silence me,’ she added in a statement to The Washington Post.

Gibson went on to call out her rivals for attempting to derail her campaign ahead of the November 7 ballot.

  11. 103 House Democrats Call Out Biden in Official Letter
By Richard Moorhead, The Western Journal Sep. 12, 2023 10:15 am0 Comments

More than a hundred House Democrats are urging President Joe Biden to provide more privileges to illegal immigrants.

In a Sunday letter, the legislators outlined three benefits for the illegals they want Biden to deliver.

The document was also addressed to Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.

The Democrats called for executive action to benefit the interests of “certain undocumented individuals who are stuck in limbo and asylum seekers in obtaining work authorization.”

They asked for expedited work authorization for illegals — skipping the statutory 150 days an asylum seeker usually requires before applying for a work permit.

  12. Russia’s Putin Claims Charges Against Trump Are Simple ‘Political Persecution’
    By Paul Serran Sep. 12, 2023 11:50 am81 Comments

One does not have to be a Trump ally or even like him very much to recognize the magnitude of the injustice being waged on him.

So much so that a fierce adversary of Americans just made this exact public admission.

Russian President Vladimir Putin was speaking about the cultural and economic development of the Far East in his address to the plenary session of the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF), but he was also outlining goals and discussing challenges for the near and distant future of Russia.

    Sputnik reported:

“Moving on to the issue of the 2024 presidential election in the United States, Russia’s leader was of the opinion that they will not change in Washington’s policy towards Moscow.

‘I think that there will be no fundamental changes in the Russian direction in US foreign policy, no matter who is elected president’, Putin said, adding that Moscow is not aware who will be elected, in a nod at the since-debunked claims of the Trump-Russia collusion ahead of 2016 elections.

The Russian President also said that accusations against ex-President Donald Trump regarding his alleged ‘ties’ with Moscow are ‘complete nonsense’.

‘As for the prosecution of Trump… for us, what is happening in today’s conditions, in my opinion, is good, because it shows how rotten the American political system is… All that’s happening with Trump is political persecution of a political rival’, Putin said.”

Putin was asked about the fact that Trump always praised his good relations with Putin and claimed more recently he could resolve the Ukraine war in a matter of days if he regains the presidency.

    Al Jazeera reported:

“’We hear Mr Trump say he will solve pressing problems in a few days, including the Ukrainian crisis. Well, this cannot but bring happiness. This is good’, Putin said.

But he said the idea Trump had special ties with Russia was ‘complete nonsense’.

However, Putin reiterated that Russia’s relations with the US are unlikely to change regardless of who leads the country.

‘What to expect from the future, no matter who the president is, it’s hard for us to say, but it’s unlikely that anything will change radically’, Putin said.”

Putin noted that, by and large, Russians are not interested in who will take this post there. It was mostly Trump, he argued, who introduced more sanctions against Russia.

  13. The “Why Not” Culture: Why the Georgia Final Report Should Worry Us All

Why Not” Culture: Why the Georgia Final Report Should Worry Us

    (MSNBC/Screengrab via YouTube)
Below is my column in the Hill on release of the final report of the Special Purpose Grand Jury in Georgia. The recommendation for sweeping indictments involving 39 people, including current and former senators, only magnifies fears over political prosecutions. For many of us, the inclusion of figures like the senators reflects a rogue grand jury. However, Rep. Adam Schiff (D., Cal.) insisted that Sen. Lindsey Graham was “lucky” not to be indicted. According to Schiff, Graham calling Georgia officials about the counting or discarding of votes was enough to justify a criminal charge. Presumably, since Graham could be indicted with Trump, Schiff would also consider him eligible to be barred from ever running again for office under the 14th Amendment, as discussed below. It is the “why not” approach to criminal and constitutional law.

    Here is my column:

With the release of the special grand jury final report in Georgia, the nation finally was able to see what foreperson Emily Kohrs last February was giggling about in interviews.

Call it the “Why not?” report.

Back then, when Kohrs was asked if there were recommended charges, she chuckled and said, “Can you imagine doing this for eight months and not coming out with a whole list of recommended indictments? It’s not a short list. It’s not.’”

In addition to nodding at an expected Trump indictment, she added, “There may be some names on that list that you wouldn’t expect.” After all, why not?

The final product did not disappoint. The members recommended 39 people for prosecution, including Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) and former Sens. Kelly Loeffler (R-Ga.) and David Perdue (R-Ga.). They also included lawyers who argued for recounts or investigations into alleged election fraud.

While the report expressly claims that the Fulton County District Attorney’s office did not create the list, it was the office of Fani Willis that presented the law, the evidence and potential targets to the special grand jury. During that process, these members concluded that politicians voicing support for the former president and his allegations could be criminally charged for doing so.

The news that Willis did not indict Graham and others infuriated many on the left. Liberal websites were inundated with comments like “I want all the enablers charged, tried, and given long sentences as traitors to our country” and asking why the list did not include Senators Grassley, Cruz, Lee and “147 current and former members of the House, just to name a few.”

The disappointment of the special grand jury members and commentators is understandable. When one reads the indictment of the 19 defendants, it is surprising that all of the other 20 were dropped. While the indictment does contain serious charges against some individuals, Willis used a sweeping racketeering theory to indict in gross.

One possible reason Willis dropped some of these targets is that she knew the indictment of these senators would have been quickly and firmly rejected by the courts as the criminalization of political speech.

However, the 160 individual acts detailed in Willis’s report include speeches and social media postings by Trump and others claiming evidence of widespread voting fraud.

I disagree with those claims, but many citizens held the same suspicions of the election. Many still do.

It is understandable why the grand jurors thought that anyone pushing these claims was committing a crime, given the 160 acts cited by Willis. Graham, for example, called Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger after the November 2020 election to ask about absentee ballots and whether groups of ballots could be rejected.

That call was not ultimately deemed worthy of an indictment. However, Willis launched her investigation based on Trump’s continued demands that Raffensperger investigate the vote tally in two other calls. Once again, I agreed then and now with Raffensperger in his refusal. But the question is whether such requests are evidence of a crime.

I have long criticized the misrepresentation of the two Georgia calls by the Washington Post, which later issued a correction in its reporting. Although it recently made a startling contradictory statement on the truth of its original claims, the transcript of the calls shows that Trump did not tell officials to simply add more than 11,000 votes.

I still disagree with his claims, but I have maintained that Trump was making a predictable argument in a settlement negotiation that he only needed that number of votes and that a new recount or continued investigation would find them.

My questioning of the use of the calls as evidence of a crime has given many people the vapors. They insist that it was preposterous to think that Trump was actually asking for continued recounts or investigations instead of demanding that Raffensperger commit fraud. Yet Raffensperger himself recently took the stand and confirmed that the call was a “settlement negotiation” over whether to conduct further recounts or investigations.

The question is when advocacy or inquiries or negotiations become criminal acts. Willis’s first grand jury clearly believed that senators who called for recounts or Raffensperger’s resignation should go to prison. The comparison between their recommendations and the eventual indictment does not clearly answer how such acts are distinguishable as crimes.

The same lack of limiting principle is evident in the new theory being pushed by various experts under the 14th Amendment to bar Trump from ballots on the grounds that he “engaged in insurrection or rebellion” or gave “aid or comfort to the enemies thereof.” Beyond the tendentious claim that the Jan. 6 riot was an actual insurrection, they also maintain that the provision is self-executing, requiring no vote of Congress for secretaries of state to bar Trump from next year’s ballots.

Even though Trump has not been charged, let alone convicted, of insurrection (or even incitement), these advocates believe that he can be removed from the ballot because of his election claims, his inflammatory rhetoric and his delay in calling for supporters to leave the Capitol. This is one of the most dangerous legal theories to arise in decades.

This week, Democratic Arizona Secretary of State Adrian Fontes aptly described the claimed right to disqualify as a “radical” measure that would “encompass every elected office in our government — state, local, federal, and so forth.” Indeed, Democrats have called for barring not just Trump but 120 Republicans in Congress from running for office.

As with the Georgia special grand jury, the question is “Why not?” If the standard is “giving aid or comfort” to insurrectionists, then why not throw hundreds of other Republicans who supported the challenge to certification on Jan. 6 off the ballot? And while we’re at it, why not bar every lawyer who helped file claims of voting fraud from ever running for office? They all gave aid or comfort with their actions.

By this reasoning, Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) and other Democrats could have been barred from ballots for opposing Trump’s certification in 2016 without any basis, along with leaders such as Hillary Clinton, who continued to call the election “stolen” for years. In 2016, there were also violent riots in Washington opposing Trump’s inauguration, thanks in no small part to such rhetoric. We can then have different candidates of both parties removed from ballots in every state.

This “Why not?” philosophy is all part of our impulse-buy politics, where there is little thought to the implications of actions beyond immediate vengeance and satisfaction. It is a criminal and political system based on the giddy philosophy of Emily Kohrs.

BEWARE: California Bills Headed to Newsom’s Desk Will Launch a Transgender Inquisition Targeting Parents

We’re here, we’re queer, we’re coming for your children” might as well become the new slogan of the Golden State.

California’s Legislature has passed—or is about to pass—a slew of bills aimed at undermining the rights of parents (and potential foster parents) who disagree with the transgender worldview.

What would the state need to launch a transgender inquisition? It would need inquisitors to identify and hunt down parents who dared to dissent from gender ideology. It would need an apparatus to induct kids into its cult while keeping parents in the dark. It would need institutions to screen potential foster parents to block heretics from fostering or adopting kids who might convert to the state religion. Most importantly, it would need a legal way to pry kids from the arms of their apostate progenitors.

These legislative proposals foot that bill. One of them would train teachers to profile these hated “anti-LGBTQ” parents, another would train psychotherapists to prepare to hide gender “treatments” from parents at a minor’s request, a third would prevent school districts from removing sexually explicit books if they contain transgender themes, a fourth would prevent Californians from becoming foster parents if they dissent from gender ideology, and the fifth would expand the definition of child abuse to include “non-affirmation” of a child’s claimed transgender identity.

In a supreme Orwellian irony, each of these California bills claims to uphold the virtues of “diversity” and “inclusion,” while forcing down parents’ throats a constricting worldview at odds with reality and seeking to exclude moms and dads from raising their own children if they dare to disagree.

    1. Profiling Parents
AB-5, called the Safe and Supportive Schools Act, passed the California State Assembly in May by a vote of 64-4 and on Thursday passed the California State Senate, 32-3. The bill would mandate an “online delivery platform and an online training curriculum to support LGBTQ cultural competency training for teachers and other certified employees.”

Not only does this training enforce transgender ideology among educators, but it also trains educators to profile those despicable “anti-LGBTQ” parents.

Sure, the so-called Safe and Supportive Schools Act doesn’t explicitly state that “the material will include five tips on profiling parents who dissent from gender ideology so we can rip their kids from their arms.” It’s far subtler than that.

  15. CIA Whistleblower Exposes Agency’s Action to Manipulate COVID-19 Origin Investigation, Offers “Significant Monetary Incentive” to Discredit Wuhan Lab Theory

Every day, more evidence appears to emerge that our own government is corrupt to the core.

A CIA whistleblower has stepped forward, claiming the CIA manipulated the investigation into the origins of COVID-19. According to letters from House Coronavirus Subcommittee Chairman Brad Wenstrup and House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Turner, the CIA offered “significant monetary incentives” to officials to shift their findings.

House Coronavirus Subcommittee Chairman Rep. Brad Wenstrup (R-OH 2nd District) and House Intelligence Committee Chairman Rep. Mike Turner (R-OH 10th District) sent a separate letter to CIA Director William Burns and former CIA COO Andrew Makridis, shedding new light on the agency’s actions regarding the origins of COVID-19.

  16. FDA Panel Rules That Popular Decongestant Found in Cold Medicines Does Not Work – Benadryl, Sudafed, and Several More Drugs Face Removal from Stores
    By Cullen Linebarger Sep. 12, 2023 1:40 pm147 Comments

Most Gateway Pundit readers at some point have used products such as Benadryl and DayQuil to relieve symptoms caused by a cold or the flu. Now these and other popular medicines could soon be unavailable at stores nationwide thanks to a ruling today.

The Associated Press reported that one of the agency’s panels voted unanimously Tuesday against the effectiveness of an ingredient called phenylephrine. As the Daily Mail notes, phenylephrine is the most common active compound in over-the-counter drugs like Benadryl Allergy Plus Congestion, Sudafed PE, and Tylenol Cold and Flu Severe Day & Night.

The drug is also found in Allegra and Dayquil as well.

Oral phenylephrine is broken apart in the gut, which allows the medicine to enter the bloodstream. From there, the drug enters the nose.

  17. Many readers are under the impression that they have a choice in next year’s presidential election. Allow me to disabuse them of this false notion. Alvin Bragg, Jack Smith and Fani Willis took away the right of Republicans to choose a presidential candidate by indicting President Donald John Trump. Because the charges are bogus, we must re-elect him or government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall perish from the earth.

The indictments are a heinous act that rubs our noses in the filth, garbage and sewage of a power-mad central government that now exceeds the worst nightmares of some of our Founding Fathers. They were anti-Federalists who opposed ratification of the Constitution. They included Patrick Henry, who once said give me liberty or give me death.

We now say Trump or death, and that is no joke. Organizing opposition can get you 22 years in prison. The Republican Party goes along with this evil to get along.

The anti-Federalists secured the Bill of Rights and protected free speech, peaceful protest and the right to a fair trial. Just under 250 years later, the Biden administration seeks to complete Obama’s plan to destroy those protections of rights. President Trump delayed this plan and now Obama — through Biden — seeks vengeance.

The ability to persecute a duly elected president shows central government is too large, too powerful and too out-of-touch to lead us. Trump is our last hope of regaining control.

Washington has seized our rights slowly and suddenly. For example, the Department of Education uses money to get state boards of education to submit to the DOE’s will.

Agencies have administrative law judges to enforce the agency’s rules, giving them the weight of a law without Congress. HUD tried this trick on Donald Trump when he was young. HUD labelled him a racist in rentals. He sued to have the case brought before a real federal judge. HUD quickly agreed to what amounted to an admission that Trump had done nothing wrong.

Federal agencies last long after their original purpose ends.

The Environmental Protection Agency continues to bully us, long after American capitalists cleaned the air and water. In fact the biggest contamination of rivers in this century came when the EPA released 3 million gallons of toxic waste water into the Animas River. No one lost his job. No one went to jail. The press let it slide into the memory hole unexamined.

The ATF allowed guns in Arizona to be sold illegally in the hope of catching drug cartel masterminds. None were ever caught. ATF tried a sting operation in Milwaukee and ended up giving criminals a machine gun. The largest distributor of illegal weapons is the government.

The FBI is better at creating crimes than at solving them. The Abscam set up a sting that sent a pack of New Jersey politicians to prison but no one seems to wonder why the FBI believes it has such power to erase election results.

The bureau tried to bring down Marion Barry, the crooked but flamboyant mayor of DC. They had an old girlfriend set him up for a cocaine sting in a motel room. As they arrested him, he said, “Bitch set me up.” She had. But Barry’s lawyers were smart. They made the FBI show the entire videotape to the jury, which then acquitted him.

The sins of the FBI are well known to conservatives. From Ruby Ridge to the Whitmer Fake Kidnapping, the F in FBI seems more and more to stand for fascist, which is the union of government and corporations to restrict the rights of citizens. The Twitter Files prove the feds paid social media to censor conservatives — an actual election interference.

The biggest recent sin was luring to the Capitol maybe 500 of the people those who attended President Trump’s rally on the National Mall — some 100,000 attended — to the Capitol where they were set up and called insurrectionists. The Capitol Police mall guards — who number 2,000 — said they were outnumbered by 500 protesters. The only violence was Lieutenant Michael Byrd shooting and killing an unarmed Ashli Babbitt. He was promoted to captain.

But the draconian charges and kangaroo court sentences are mind-blowing. They went after people who were not even in Washington that day.

AP said, “More than 1,000 people have been charged with federal crimes related to the Jan. 6 riot. More than 600 of them have pleaded guilty or been convicted after trials decided by a jury or judge. About 600 have been sentenced, with over half getting terms of imprisonment ranging from three days to 18 years.”

About half the people charged were not even in Washington.

When Democrats invaded the Senate offices to protest the appointment of Justice Brett Kavanaugh, the Capitol mall cops gave Amy Schumer and others the choice of being arrested. Knowing she would never do any time, she virtue signaled and said yes.

But the FBI is only one of the agencies that are out-of-control. The Department of Homeland Security named white supremacists as the No. 1 terrorist threat — not drug lords, not Muslim radicals, not Red China’s spies and certainly not Antifa.

Republican Congressman Greg Steube of Florida called DHS out on this.

He said of a congressional hearing, “Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas on Thursday failed to name a case of domestic terrorism that his department has referred to the Department of Justice.”

I don’t know if Steube will do anything about it. Speaker Kevin McCarthy has yet to release any of the J6 videotapes after promising to release them all. Some call him Charlie McCarthy but he is more like Mortimer Snerd. Republicans are too busy being nice to Democrats to stand up for their supporters.

And what does being nice get them?

AP reported, “The special grand jury that investigated efforts by Donald Trump and others to overturn Georgia’s 2020 election results recommended indictments against twice as many people as the 19 ultimately charged by prosecutors, leaving South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham among those not indicted.

“The grand jurors’ report released Friday showed they recommended racketeering charges against 39 people, including Graham, former U.S. Sens. Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue of Georgia and former Trump national security adviser Michael Flynn. Charging recommendations against others included false statements and writings, influencing witnesses and criminal solicitation to commit election fraud.”

Grand jury? It was a star chamber.

On Friday, Trump rallied in South Dakota, the geographic center if America. President Trump said, “I’m being indicted for you. That’s not part of the job description, but I’m being indicted for you.”

He spoke for nearly two hours. The next day, he attended the Iowa-Iowa State football game. Trump was the star attraction of the biggest football game in that state. It is 2016 again.

The state treasurer, Josh Haeder, told an NYT reporter, “How many indictments does it take to steal the presidential election in 2024? Here’s the answer: There’s not enough, because Donald Trump will be the next president of the United States of America.”

Republicans can belly ache all they want about the nomination process being unfair but in America, the federal government has shut down all the fairs. The government is handing out sentences that are longer than some murder sentences to people who didn’t even enter the building. There’s your fair. Unless we nominate and re-elect Trump, this will never end.

His record in his first term does not matter. You didn’t like his covid response? Too bad. This is not about covid or Ukraine or even balancing the budget. This is about stopping the virulent abuse of the public by the protected class in Washington. The FBI is no longer a law enforcement agency; it merely provides the rich men north of Richmond their muscle.

We cannot allow them to get away with this one because if they can do this to a president, the rest of us have not one chance in hell of defending ourselves.

Alan Dershowitz laid out the case for Trump, “Never before in our history has a leading presidential candidate been indicted, especially in the run-up to the election. If the trials themselves are unfair or even reasonably perceived to be unfair, our nation will be further divided and our standing in the world of democracies will be further damaged.

“There is great desire among those who strongly oppose what Trump did in the past and what they believe he is likely to do in the future to get him. Many believe that the noble end of preventing Trump from being our next president justifies ignoble means, including stretching the Constitution and the law so as to assure his conviction. They believe that the reelection of President Trump would be more dangerous than compromising his constitutional rights.

“That is a shortsighted view that endangers future generations of Americans.”

The indictments are not short-sighted because if Trump is imprisoned, there are not going to be future generations of Americans. They will be Soviet-styled slaves. Oh they will still be called Americans but they will be slaves. Instead of drowning their sorrows in vodka, they will do fentanyl and the like.

It is difficult to imagine this now, but Russia was once one of the most Christian nations in the world. The churches and cathedrals were beautiful. The services were spectacular. The first thing Stalin did was raze churches. Christianity is the biggest danger to tyranny because it gives the oppressed hope.

Karl Marx called Christianity the opiate of the masses. When you are suffering in pain, you need an opiate.

Christians founded what we now call the United States. England didn’t want them and they didn’t want England. And so they were exiled thousands of miles away to a land that took two months to reach by boat.

They tamed and cleared a wilderness. Sure, there were Indians — small bands of primitives who had no written language, not much technology and a vague understanding of the world. They fought wars and had slaves — as man has had since the dawn of civilization.

The Christians built this nation into the greatest land of all. It took them only 300 or so years. Along the way, they created a government that was meant to protect their rights. It has devolved into the biggest threat to America. We have met the domestic terrorists. They sit at desks in Washington.

The enemy from within used 9/11 to expand federal power and to launch wars. Once 9/11 served this purpose, it was discarded. Billionaire Mike Bloomberg supported building a Victory Mosque near Ground Zero. This year, Mayor Eric Adams has the Muslim Call to Prayer intoned throughout the city. Biden is spending 9/11 in Alaska, as far away from New York as possible and still be in the USA — and away from Maui and East Palestine, Ohio.

Satan has taken over just about every institution in the country that matters. Even churches now work for him, if unwittingly. We can call it communism or fascism but the only name that fits is Satanism.

How else do you describe a political movement based on pedophilia and the mutilation of children through hormone blockers and butchery on the surgeons table?

How else do you describe Red China turning our streets into opium dens with zombie fentanyl users?

How else do you describe a police state that arrests those who try to stop a crime while ignoring actual criminals?

The left gave up on the war on drugs but kept every one of those laws. They now use the laws against the opposition. It is everything Real Americans oppose. It is evil. It is Satanist.

    We need an exorcism, folks.

President Trump was naïve in his first term. He thought Obama turned the government over to him. Obama won that round but I doubt he can withstand the whirlwind a second term for Trump will unleash.

So watch the RINO debates on Fox. Cheer for Nikki and Vivek and Ron. Boo at Dick Dastardly Pence and Snidely Christie. Pretend you still have a choice. Enjoy life while you are young because next year you will be a year older and at that age when Real Americans get serious and get down to winning an election — for Trump.

    We have no choice.

    • Fulton County Sheriff Pat Labat Opens Up About Booking Pres. Donald Trump: “On a Personal Level, It was Heartbreaking” (VIDEO)
      By Jim H?ft Sep. 12, 2023 3:00 pm27 Comments

Democrat Fulton County Sheriff Pat Labat has shared details surrounding the moment former President Donald Trump became the first U.S. president ever to have his “iconic” mug shot taken. Trump was booked last month at Fulton County Jail for his alleged involvement in a racketeering case for questioning Georgia’s 2020 rigged election results.

During a CNN interview with Erin Burnett, Sheriff Labat described the atmosphere as “eerily quiet” when Trump arrived at the Fulton County Jail, which he oversees. Despite the heavy security protocols, Trump was “very stoic” and “pretty silent” throughout the entire booking process, including having his mug shot and fingerprints taken.

To speed up the process, Trump’s bond paperwork was “brought to the motorcade so that we could get him in and off the premises as quickly as possible,” Labat mentioned.

New Mexico’s Democrat governor Michelle Lujan Grisham isn’t getting the support she thought she would get from fellow leftists after she unilaterally suspended Second Amendment rights in Albuquerque.

Democrat Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham on Friday declared gun violence a public health emergency in response to the shooting deaths of a thirteen-year-old girl on July 28, a five-year-old girl on August 14, and an eleven-year-old boy on September 6.

“The action plan includes a suspension of open and concealed carry laws in Bernalillo County, temporarily prohibiting the carrying of guns on public property with certain exceptions. Exceptions include for licensed security guards and law enforcement officers. Citizens with permits to carry firearms are free to possess their weapons on private property (such as at a gun range or gun store), provided they transport the firearm in a locked box, use a trigger lock, or some other mechanism that renders the gun incapable of being fired,” according to the press release.

Kim Jong-un, the dictator of North Korea, arrived in Russia on Tuesday, September 12. He is set to meet with President Vladimir Putin, as confirmed by Kremlin sources.

The meeting between these leaders, both subjects of Western sanctions, had been a subject of speculation, but it has now been officially confirmed by the Russian Presidency.

The North Korean dictator traveled to Russia in a luxurious armored train following a journey that lasted approximately one day.

The purpose of this meeting is to negotiate an agreement in which North Korea would supply more weaponry in exchange for Russia’s support in the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. This expectation has raised concerns about the potential military strengthening of North Korea.

In 2019, Alabama GOP Rep. Mo Brooks read from Adolf Hitler’s “Mein Kampf” to ridicule Democrats and fake news over special counsel Robert Mueller’s report on supposed collusion between Russia and then-President Donald Trump’s campaign.

“In the big lie,” Brooks quoted, “there is always a certain force of credibility because the broad masses of a nation are always more easily corrupted in the deeper strata of their emotional nature than consciously or voluntarily; and thus, in the primitive simplicity of their minds, they more readily fall victim to the big lie than the small lie.”

The “big lie” is alive in well in California.

Legislators in the state are set to repeal a law that “bans publicly funded travel to states that enacted laws discriminating against LGBTQ people,” according to Politico.

Why? Because the law — which is more virtue signaling on steroids than anything else — has backfired.

That doesn’t mean LGBT ideologues are backing down. They’ve come up with a plan to inundate red states with the LGBT propaganda.

Keeping progressives out of conservative states is applauded by conservatives. Exporting progressive propaganda into red states will corrupt the populace of those states from the inside out — or so progressives hope.

A measure by California state Sen. Toni Atkins — a Democrat who is in her final year as Senate leader — would repeal the travel ban “and replace it with an outreach campaign that would bring pro-LGBTQ messages to television screens and highway billboards in red states,” Politico reported Friday.

The travel ban, which was set in motion in 2016, initially targeted a smattering of states but grew to include 26, according to the Washinton Examiner. That means Californians can’t travel for official business to more than half of U.S. states.

“If the mountain won’t come to Muhammad,” as the adage goes, “Muhammad must go to the mountain.”

In this case, the mountain is represented by realists who don’t buy into a radical LGBT ideology that conflates feelings with reason and the impossible with the possible.

Former Fox News host Megyn Kelly is an example of a person who refuses to buy the transgender myth.

“There’s no such thing as a biological man who can become a woman,” she said on her show earlier this year.

Kelly noted that a man who thinks he feels like a woman is not therefore a woman, even if he takes estrogen to grow “something that approximates baby breasts.” A man cannot feel like a woman because he can never know what a woman feels like because he’s a man.

The progressives, who are playing the part of Muhammad in the adage, have decided to infiltrate the airwaves and billboards in red states in an effort to eclipse reason by way of emotion. Empathy, they hope, will serve to sever people from reality.

    Good luck.

According to a June Gallup poll, almost 70 percent of U.S. adults think transgender athletes should only compete in sports that correspond with their sex.

In May, The Washington Post seemed by the findings of its own poll with KFF: “Most Americans don’t believe it’s even possible to be a gender that differs from that assigned at birth,” the newspaper reported.

Reasonable people simply don’t buy into LGBT political ideology, especially when it comes to transgenderism.

So why do progressives keep trying? They believe Hitler’s take on the “big lie” where “the broad masses of a nation are always more easily corrupted in the deeper strata of their emotional nature than consciously or voluntarily.”

In other words, they believe Americans are basically stupid emotional creatures. Because of the “primitive simplicity of their minds, they more readily fall victim to the big lie than the small lie.”

That’s cynical. The big lie in this case is cultural Marxists masquerading as LGBT sympathizers. If the activists don’t even know they are frauds, they’re the ones who are stupid.

Atkins wants to “educate the public” in conservative states that have passed laws to hold LGBT crazies in check, according to Politico.

She released a video on social media Tuesday as an example of what this “education” might look like. The video wastes no time in seizing the moral high ground by embracing a pseudo-Christianity.

Progressives love to paint themselves as exemplars of “love thy neighbor” in an attempt to replace God with the state. They appropriate Christian charity while totally ignoring the equally important Christian tenet of repentance of sin. They pick and choose from Scripture like vultures picking at the eyes of a corpse.

For progressives, that’s what the Bible is — a dead doctrine useful only when appealing to the “primitive simplicity” of conservative minds.

It’s all a big lie, and from the looks of things, we the people are not as dumb as the elitists think.

Exporting LGBT propaganda from California to conservative states is a stupid idea. But what do you expect from the minds of progressives?

New Mexico’s Democrat Attorney General said he will not defend Democrat Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham against lawsuits filed in response to her unconstitutional gun grab.

Citizens with permits to carry firearms are free to possess their weapons on private property (such as at a gun range or gun store), provided they transport the firearm in a locked box, use a trigger lock, or some other mechanism that
