Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

    Take a close look at this image. You can see that the landing gear on the Embraer that is on the wings. Preliminary evidence points to some sort of explosive device being planted in one or both wheel wells. under the wings, which explains why the aircraft, as it plummeted towards earth, was intact but without wings.

    I am confident that this was not a sanctioned assassination by Vladimir Putin. The timing and the spectacle (i.e., a plane crash on Russian territory) are unfavorable to Putin. The BRICs Summit was underway with Russia playing a prominent role. Putin also was commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Soviet victory at Kursk. Putin and his team know a thing or two about managing public relations. They are not fools. Killing Prigozhin in this way just does not make sense.

    What about the GRU? Did they do it? I do not think so. Wagner is a creation of the GRU and Prigozhin was nothing more than a figurehead. If the GRU decided that Prigozhin was expendable I think they would get rid of him in a way that preserves plausible deniability. The wreckage of the aircraft on the ground in Russia will allow for the recovery of the black box and a chance to examine what remains of the aircraft.   14. Maui, Yellowknife, Teneriffe, Rhodes: Who is Behind the Spate of Wildfires Caused by Arson?

    The leftist media rushed to blame a series of devastating wildfires on “climate change”. Arson was involved in several cases, however, leading some observers to question the possible motives for the spate of blazes.

    Terrrible tragedy struck the city of Lahaina on Maui on Aug. 8, with at least 144 dead and 1000 people still missing, including many children. Speaking on Daily Wire, pundit Michael Knowles said that arson is “the most likely culprit … apparently, in the mind of Hawaiian officials.”

    “For years now, people have intentionally set fires all over Maui. As Maui Mayor Michael Victorino noted just last year, fire and police suspect someone is intentionally setting them. Just a couple weeks ago, Hawaiian police responded to two fires on Maui. One started by an unattended cooking fire, the other, apparently, intentionally set. Shortly after which point, according to investigators, quote, a male operating a green all-terrain vehicle was seen leaving the area.”

    Last week, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police stated they had “charged four female youths with arson” after major wildfires around Yellowknife, Northwest Territory, Canada.

    “Around 10:03 p.m., RCMP officers on patrol spotted a fire near Long Lake and called the Yellowknife Fire Department. The cause of the fire has been determined to be arson. A witness in the area reported seeing two men running from the area wearing black clothing. The Northwest Territories Police Dog Service attended in an effort to track the suspects but they were not located. No further description of the men could be provided and this matter remains under investigation.

    At 11:21 p.m., the Yellowknife RCMP received a call reporting that four females were attempting to light a fire in a small green space on Burwash Drive. RCMP officers immediately attended the area and located the four youth females. RCMP arrested all four and found aerosol cans and lighters in their possession and near the scene. Video of this incident was captured on a nearby camera at a private residence. All four of the female youths have been charged with arson.”

    Spanish authorities also blamed wildfires on the tourist island of Teneriffe on arson, as AP News reported: “Canary Islands regional President Fernando Clavijo said Sunday that police have confirmed that a wildfire raging on the Spanish tourist island of Tenerife was started deliberately. Clavijo said police had opened three lines of investigation but did not say if there had been any arrests.”

    According to Greek authorities wildfires on the islands of Rhodes and Corfu were also due to arson. Vassilis Vathrakogiannis, from the Rhodes Fire Department, said: “Fires are set by human hands. Whether it is due to negligence or fraud will be seen (but) people have been summoned for statements and others will be summoned.”

    “Who would do such a thing?”, Knowles asked. “We can’t say for certain who might have done it here, but we can say for certain the answer to who would do such a thing. And the answer is environmentalists, because the Department of Homeland Security has observed for decades that radical environmentalists constantly start fires all over the country. Between 1995 and 2010, environmentalist groups set off at least 239 arsons and bombings in the United States. They do this because people are not taking the theoretical threat of climate change seriously enough, so they make that theoretical threat practical by setting the fires themselves. It’s not just the environmentalists. This is what leftists always do. This is how all ideologues behave when their theories don’t line up with reality.”

    • Maui Updates: Lahaina Fire Survivor Blasts Biden; Officials Release Names of 388 Confirmed Missing; Power Companies Sued

      A survivor of the Lahaina fires that destroyed the Maui town on August 8 blasted Joe Biden in a video posted by independent journalist Jeremy Loffredo that went viral on Friday. The woman said she lost everything (car, cash, meds, animals) when her home she rented was destroyed in the blaze and that she has not been able to get her medications replaced.

      On Thursday, the Maui government released the first official list of confirmed missing that was compiled by the FBI, putting the number at 388. A strict criteria was required: First and last name of the missing and a verified contact number for the person filing a missing persons report. The list includes a name and case number for each individual, but not by age. It is thought that many children perished in the fire as they were kept home from school that day due to high winds from an offshore hurricane.

      The statement by the Maui government also reports, “an additional 1,732 individuals who had originally been reported as unaccounted for have since been found safe and well.”

      Previously, the number of missing was estimated to be between 850 and 1,100 people. TGP reported Thursday there is a huge gap in the number of students enrolled before and after the fire in the Lahaina public school system. 2,025 out of 3,001 students have not enrolled in public school alternatives since the fire. However, one private school has reported about 1,000 new applications since the fire.

      Maui police announced in a statement issued Thursday the name of the first child confirmed killed in the fire, 7-year-old Tony Takafua, along with the latest information on confirmed deceased: “Total fatalities: 115. Individuals identified, the family notified: 35. Individuals identified, family not located/notified: 11.”

      Police confirmed a report that a ” Lahaina family had located their son’s remains at their residence and brought him to a nearby police station.”

      Also on Thursday, Maui announced a lawsuit against several power companies blaming them for the several fire across the island on August 8.

      The interview with the survivor was posted by Jeremy Loffredo: “An indigenous Lahaina local tells me she lost her house, pets, medicine and cash savings. She can’t get a call back from FEMA and has yet to see any type of US aid relief. She says Joe Biden should keep his insulting $700 because of the “gazillions” he’s sending Ukraine.”

      County of Maui releases validated list of names of individuals who remain unaccounted for following Lahaina wildfire disaster

      The County of Maui on Thursday released a validated list of the names of 388 individuals who have been reported unaccounted for following the Lahaina wildfire disaster on August 8, 2023.

      The names are being provided to the public in an effort to help identify anyone who can be accounted for.

      The names on the list were compiled by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and were deemed validated as long as the following criteria was provided:

      The first name of the person who is unaccounted for
      The last name of the person who is unaccounted for
      A verified contact number for the person who reported the individual as unaccounted for
      The Maui Police Department needs the public’s help in providing information on anyone who is reported unaccounted for and whose name is on this list, but know the person can be accounted for.

      If you recognize a name on the list and know the person to be safe, or if you have additional information about the person that may help locate them, please contact the FBI at (808) 566-4300 or HN*************@****bi.gov as soon as possible.

      “We’re releasing this list of names today because we know that it will help with the investigation,” said Police Chief John Pelletier. “We also know that once those names come out, it can and will cause pain for folks whose loved ones are listed. This is not an easy thing to do, but we want to make sure that we are doing everything we can to make this investigation as complete and thorough as possible.”

      Today, the County of Maui filed a lawsuit against Maui Electric Company, Limited, Hawaiian Electric Company, Inc., Hawai?i Electric Light Company, Inc., and Hawaiian Electric Industries, Inc. for civil damages caused to the County’s public property and resources caused by recent Maui fires, including fires in L?hain? and in Kula. The lawsuit was filed in the Second Circuit Court and the case number is 2CCV-23-0000238.

      The lawsuit alleges that the Defendants acted negligently by failing to power down their electrical equipment despite a National Weather Service Red Flag Warning on August 7th. The lawsuit further alleges HECO’s energized and downed power lines ignited dry fuel such as grass and brush, causing the fires. The lawsuit also alleges failure to maintain the system and power grid, which caused the systemic failures starting three different fires on August 8th.

      Maui County stands alongside the people and communities of L?hain? and Kula to recover public resource damages and rebuild after these devastating utility-caused fires. These damages include losses to public infrastructure, fire response costs, losses to revenues, increased costs, environmental damages, and losses of historical or cultural landmarks.

      HECO is a for-profit, investor-owned utility that trades publicly on the New York Stock Exchange serving 95% of the Hawai’i customer base.

      The fires in L?hain? and Kula burned over 3,000 acres and destroyed more than 2,200 structures, causing an estimated $5.5 billion in damage or more.

      The County is represented by Corporation Counsel Victoria J. Takayesu, Deputy Corporation Counsel Thomas Kolbe, and by outside counsel John Fiske of Baron & Budd, P.C., Ed Diab of Diab Chambers, LLP, and L.     REVEALED: Maui officials tried to enforce media BLACKOUT to block footage from devastating wildfires

    A leaked letter from the US Department of Homeland Security reveals that FEMA was asked by officials on the Hawaiian island of Maui to “pause on posting on social media and elsewhere new imagery of damage/disaster/debris starting now.”

    The letter, revealed in a screenshot on X by Anthony Cabassa, was sent August 19, more than 10 days after the wildfires ripped through the town of Lahaina, officially killing more than 100, but leaving nearly 1,000 missing and unaccounted for.

    The disaster footage from Lahaina shows a devastated community that once was home to 13,000. The area is flattened by fires, homes reduced to ash, and bodies, many likely charred beyond recognition, in the debris.

    “They are asking for a full stop in disaster imagery going forward,” the letter from Justin Angel Knighten of FEMA continues. “At this time, we have not been asked to take any photos or videos down. Our team on the ground is coordinating with the County for further guidance to ensure we remain fully aligned. Cultural sensitivity is of the utmost importance in all our response and recovery activities to this disaster.”

    Footage was posted to social media by survivors of the fires. Charred cars stuck in traffic jams on one of the only roads out of town, burnt homes that likely contain the unidentifiable remains of the dead, as well as survivors speaking about their ordeals, all ended up online.

    The disaster response from Maui officials was also called out on social media. An official who was in charge of making sure there was enough water to fight the fires sat on a request to divert water to protect people and homes for five hours while waiting for a report from a local farmer as to the impact of that water diversion.

    Another official said that he declined to sound warning sirens to alert residents of the imminent danger because the sirens have historically been used for tsunamis defended the position. It also turned out that the warning system itself was faulty. Residents said that if only they’d had another 10-15 minutes notice, families could have been saved. Some families perished entirely while they were in their homes or cars with absolutely no way to escape.

    Hawaii Governor Josh Green said later that he wished the sirens had been sounded. Instead, first responders went door to door to alert residents that they should evacuate.

    It was later revealed, as the number of missing stayed high and it came to be known that many children, home alone due to school closures as a result of power outages, that three Maui disaster response officials were not even on Maui, but on the island of Oahu attending a FEMA disaster relief training. They did not even get on a call about the fires until 5 hours after they began the morning of August 8.

    As an additional result of those power failures, work crews were out in Lahaina trying to repair those lines, and in so doing actually barricaded roads preventing people from leaving in their cars. This caused hefty traffic jams, leaving people stranded while they tried to evacuate, or heading back into the flames in Lahaina. At least one family was known to have burned to death in their car, along with their 7-year-old son.

    The power company itself is also facing scrutiny for not having cut the current to the power lines as the wind picked up. Another video posted on social media by a Lahaina resident shows electric poles bending over to the ground, wires touching dry brush, smoke, and flames igniting as a result.

    But Maui officials, “out of respect for those who perished,” do not want the public to see that.

    President Trump reportedly transferred the ownership of Mar-a-Lago to his son Don Jr. before his arrest.

    This is a sensible business move by the 77-year-old US President during such a lawless period in US history.

    President Trump was arrested and booked on Thursday in Fulton County Georgia for unapproved speech violations – something that is not a crime and never has been in American history.

    As The Gateway Pundit noted earlier – The entire investigation into President Trump was based on a lie told by Brad Raffensperger’s office to the conspiracy site Washington Post.

    Trump the businessman transferred ownership of his historic home to his son recently.

    President Trump, the most popular sitting president in history based on his election performance, is the only US president to leave office worth less than when he entered office.

    Newsweek reported:

    Donald Trump has reportedly sold his signature Mar-a-Lago luxury residence in Florida, according to a Zillow listing which said the resort was purchased on August 4—weeks before the former president voluntarily turned himself in at Fulton County jail in Georgia, where he was booked on 13 felony counts.

    But a later report by The Express mentions that the former president might have not really “sold” the property, but simply transferred its ownership to an organization owned by his son Donald Trump Jr.

    The listing, which is still available on Zillow’s website, shows that a 5,061-square-foot residence at 1100 S Ocean Boulevard in Palm Beach, Florida, was sold on Friday, August 4 for $422,000,000.

    While the home is not listed by Zillow as “Mar-a-Lago,” the address corresponds to that of Trump’s Palm Beach residence, and so does its size, roughly. The listing also mentioned that the last time that the property was sold was on April 6, 1995—the exact same date when the former president turned the residence, which he purchased in 1985 for $2 million, into The Mar-a-Lago Club. At the time, Zillow said the property was acquired for $12,000,000.

    Kyrie Irving, one of the NBA’s most controversial players, is at it again, this time saying that he doesn’t really even consider himself an American player — even though he has played for Team USA in the Olympics.

    In an interview on Twitch, Irving claimed that he considers himself an “international player,” not an American.

    As it happens, Irving was born to American parents in Australia. The Irving family lived in Melbourne for a few years while the player’s father, Drederick Irving, played for the Bulleen Boomers in the semi-professional South East Australian Basketball League. But they moved back to the U.S. when Irving was two.

    The small Midwestern gender clinic was buckling under an unrelenting surge in demand.

    Last year, dozens of young patients were seeking appointments every month, far too many for the clinic’s two psychologists to screen. Doctors in the emergency room downstairs raised alarms about transgender teenagers arriving every day in crisis, taking hormones but not getting therapy.

    Opened in 2017 inside a children’s hospital affiliated with Washington University in St. Louis, the prestigious clinic was welcomed by many families as a godsend. It was the only place for hundreds of miles where distressed adolescents could see a team of experts to help them transition to a different gender.

    But as the number of these patients soared, the clinic became overwhelmed — and soon found itself at the center of a political storm. In February, Jamie Reed, a former case manager, went public with explosive allegations, claiming in a whistle-blower complaint that doctors at the clinic had hastily prescribed hormones with lasting effects to adolescents with pressing psychiatric problems.

    Good luck trying this case, DA Fani Willis. And by all means roll the TV cameras in the courtroom. You are about to supplant the Scopes trial of 1925 as the most notoriously ridiculous piece of legal work in US history. That one, over in Tennessee, was called “the Monkey Trial” when a high school teacher named John Scopes was charged with teaching the theory of evolution in his biology class. It got the national news spotlight for the duration. The state enlisted three-time Democratic presidential nominee Williams Jennings Bryan as a special prosecutor. Poor Bryan, famously sweating in the southern July heat, was made a fool of by Chicago lawyer for the defense Clarence Darrow. Bryan died of a stroke days after the conclusion of the trial. It also killed what remained of his reputation.

    This week, DA Willis staged the circus parade of bookings, forcing the large cast of indictees — most of them attorneys for Mr. Trump — to submit to the finger-printing and mugshot ceremony in the county jail, in case any of them had thoughts of decamping to Uruguay. The cable news peanut gallery went berserk with glee at the humiliation of election denial celebrities Rudy Giuliani, Sidney Powell especially. On Thursday, attorney Kenneth Chesebro, who advised Georgia GOP officials on the process of assembling alternate electors in the case of election fraud under Georgia law, demanded a speedy trial.

    Under Georgia’s speedy trial law, Mr. Chesebro’s trial would have to take place this fall. (Such are the guiles of the law.) The Atlanta Journal-Constitution newspaper called it, “an aggressive filing.” Ms. Willis had hoped to try all 19 defendants together during the 2024 presidential primary season, to support her RICO charges. Meanwhile, three other defendants, including former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, filed to have their cases removed to the federal court, in so far as the actions they are accused of taking happened while they worked in the service of the US government. Mr. Meadows is accused of seeking by email to get the phone number of a Pennsylvania election official.

    Ms. Willis’s case hinges on a number of novel propositions. First, that it is somehow against the law to object to the outcome of an election. And second, that the process for relief in such a case, as provided in Georgia’s election contest law and the US Electoral Count Act of 1887, does not apply to Mr. Trump and his lawyers. Anyone who intends to challenge the outcome must necessarily assemble a panel of alternate electors if state officials cannot certify the election properly and in good faith. Ms. Willis refers to these erroneously as “fake electors.” Mr. Trump and his co-defendants will necessarily have to present evidence that the Georgia presidential election of 2020 was not certified properly or in good faith.

    Will the defendants be allowed to present evidence of serious irregularities in the 2020 Georgia election results? If not, would that not be grounds for dismissal. So far, Democrats in charge of the machinery of law all over the country have skated on mere assertions that the 2020 election was fair. In Georgia, none of the principals involved in the dispute have been subject to cross-examination, the best instrument for truth-finding in the American legal system. Georgia Governor Brian Kemp and Sec’y of State Brad Raffensperger may not be so hot for an airing of what actually went on Nov 3, 2020 and the days after, especially the validity of over 100,000 mail-in ballots in a state where “Joe Biden’s” margin of victory was a mere 11,799 votes.

    Mr. Trump seems to be thriving under the tribulation of four court cases brought against him as he runs for election in 2024. Each new set of charges boosts his poll numbers. It helps him hugely that the cases are transparently idiotic and mendacious. If he is initially convicted in any of them, he can still run for president and be elected, even if he’s jailed — as Eugene Debs did in 1920 getting 913,693 votes running on the Socialist Party from the Atlanta Federal Penitentiary, where he was jailed under the 1917 Espionage Act for speaking out against America’s entry into the First World War.

    The Party of Chaos is running scared. Everybody knows that “Joe Biden” can’t possibly run for another term and yet the public debate is so grotesquely disabled that nobody will talk about it. Most particularly, they will not talk about who might take his place. All they are really demonstrating with this barrage of prosecutions against their chief adversary is how broken, craven, and degenerate the party is, and what a menace it is, as they like to say, to our democracy.

    On January 6, 2021, US veteran and Trump supporter Ashli Babbitt was shot in cold blood by Capitol Police Lt. Mike Byrd inside the US Capitol.

    In July 2021 The Gateway Pundit was first to confirm that Lt. Mike Byrd was Ashli Babbit’s killer.

    Lt. Byrd killed Ashli Babbitt in cold blood on Jan. 6 inside the US Capitol.

    Another woman and Trump supporter, Rosanne Boyland, was killed by Capitol Police outside the US Capitol. Her body was then dragged through the US Capitol.

    Ashli Babbitt was gunned down in cold blood inside the US Capitol. She was 98 pounds and posed no threat and had no weapons.

    Mike Byrd also had a habit of leaving his loaded gun in US Capitol restrooms.

    In August 2021, Lt. Mike Byrd was exonerated for killing Ashli Babbitt in cold blood. He gave no warning, he ran from the scene of the crime, and he shot an unarmed woman dead who posed no threat.

    Lt. Mike Byrd was reportedly NEVER INTERVIEWED before he was exonerated for killing Ashli Babbitt.

    Judicial Watch released documents that revealed the US Air Force spent tens of thousands of taxpayer dollars to House Mike Byrd in a “distinguished visitor suite” after he murdered Ashli Babbitt in cold blood.

    Today RollCall reported that Lt. Mike Byrd was promoted to Captain.

    The Capitol Police are poised to promote a lieutenant who shot and killed a pro-Trump rioter on Jan. 6, 2021, as well as an officer who vividly testified before a House select committee about the violence she encountered during that attack.

    Michael Byrd, who fatally shot rioter Ashli Babbitt as she tried to break into the Speaker’s Lobby, will be promoted to captain, according to an internal announcement reviewed by CQ Roll Call that lists more than 30 employees moving up the ranks on Sunday.

    And Caroline Edwards, who recounted how she was knocked unconscious and described the environment at the Capitol that day as a “war zone” with officers bleeding and throwing up, will be promoted to sergeant.

    A spokesperson said the department doesn’t discuss specific personnel matters but that “the promotional process is competitive and equitable” and the promotions “were well earned across the Department to include multiple Captains, Lieutenants, and Sergeants.”

    The liars, killers, and thugs are in charge now. Act accordingly.

    Joe Biden was loudly booed in Lake Tahoe Friday as he spoke to reporters outside a spa where he was taking a family exercise class. Biden gave a wave to the crowd. Biden has been on vacation since last Friday at the Lake, Tahoe, Nevada mansion of Democrat billionaire Tom Steyer, who ran ran against Biden in 2020. Biden interrupted his vacation on Monday for a daytrip to Maui where he spent less than six hours touring fire-devastated Lahaina and meeting with victims and officials.

    Video posted by the RNC shows a steady chorus of boos raining down on Biden as he spoke about speaking with the United Autoworkers Union about a possible strike.

    The booing went on for a while, overshadowing Biden’s snarky comment about President Trump’s Fulton County mug shot, “Handsome guy.”

    Federal prosecutors are mulling charges against Democrat Senator Bob Menendez (NJ) after a public corruption investigation by the Southern District of New York.

    The federal investigation is related to whether Menendez and his wife, Nadine Arslanian received gifts in exchange for political favors, The Wall Street Journal reported.

    Federal prosecutors also investigated Menendez’s backroom deals with businessmen and Egyptian officials connected to a lucrative halal contract.

    One of the entities involved in the probe is IS EG Halal, located in Edgewater, New Jersey.
