Cause and Manner of Death Released for Barack Obama’s Longtime Chef Tafari Campbell

On Tuesday, the cause and manner of death has been released for Obama’s longtime personal chef, Tafari Campbell.
On July 23, 45-year-old Tafari Campbell met his tragic end while paddle boarding on Great Edgartown Pond, Martha’s Vineyard. A female Obama staffer was reportedly paddle boarding with him.
According to witness accounts, without a life jacket and wasn’t tethered to his board, Campbell lost his balance and fell off his paddleboard into the water. Desperately struggling to stay afloat, he eventually slipped beneath the surface, never to resurface again.
Campbell, who could swim as evidenced by a video he’d previously posted, was found in eight feet deep water.
and performing an autopsy, the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner of Massachusetts officially ruled Campbell’s cause of death as an “accident,” Boston Herald reported.

The Gateway Pundit previously reported that Martha’s Vineyard law enforcement appears to have left a significant void in the details surrounding the tragic drowning of Obama’s private chef, Tafari Campbell.
The call log of the 911 distress call, received on the night of the accident, conspicuously omits the reason for the call.
On the night of the incident, the Edgartown Police Department’s logs confirm the receipt of a 911 distress call at precisely 7:46 pm, reporting the 45-year-old struggling to stay afloat on the surface before he drowned.
Oddly, the call log shows the reason for this call as BLANK – an inconsistency, considering that all other calls made that night had their reasons clearly mentioned.

Adding to the mystery, the call’s origin was marked as Wilson’s Landing, a popular paddle board launch site roughly two miles from the Obama residence on Turkeyland Cove. This information contradicts the Massachusetts State Police records, stating that the first call originated from the Obamas’ residence.
It was a Secret Service agent who made the emergency call from the Obama estate in Edgartown, sources revealed.
In response to queries about the call log, Edgartown Police Chief Bruce McNamee speculated that this might be due to the call being made on a direct line rather than dialing 911, which would automatically generate location data. The address, he added, was listed as Wilson’s Landing since that was the location of the command post, and the exact location of the incident was unclear at the time of the call.
Earlier this month, the Daily Mail revealed how Massachusetts state police are covering up basic information regarding the drowning of Barack Obama’s personal chef while still labeling his death an “accident.”
Justin Silverman, the head of the region’s First Amendment coalition, explained to the Daily Mail that police are abusing the public records law after ruling out foul play.
The burden is on law enforcement to show how their investigation may be jeopardized by releasing certain information. And they’re not doing that right now. This really flies in the face of Public Records Law.
The cover-up goes even deeper, though. State police officials are making sure that other agencies involved in the response follow their lead.

This statement by an immigrant illegally entering Arizona says it all.
It seems it’s tougher to get into Mexico than it is to get into the United States of America.
And if it wasn’t easy enough already, officials in Arizona have given the green light to every immigrant hopeful from Mexico to China by literally welding the doors to the state open.
According to the New York Post, a large metal pin that is supposed to help keep the gates open when needed has been welded to the gates, so they cannot be shut, purportedly for the free flow of water during monsoon season and for antelope migration, according to officials.
But the antelope aren’t the only ones migrating through the open gates.
The Post reported that an average of 1,400 immigrants a day from as far away as China are just sauntering through the gates while the overwhelmed border patrol is helpless to stop them.

Each of the 114 gates, which have been open for nearly two months, features 12-foot doors with enough width for a motorcycle to pass through. Smugglers bring loads of migrants to the Mexican side of the border, and then the migrants just walk through.
One Ecuadorean migrant reportedly told the Post, “We thought the agents were going to tell us something. But we just walked in.”
Another Cuban migrant said, “It was so easy to get into the U.S.”
Border Patrol told the Post that the call to keep the gates open came from federal agencies, including the National Park Service and that when they tried to shut the gates, they had an order come down telling them to keep it open because of the rain.
However the agents said the rain was late, and it made an easy dry path for the migrants.
One source told the Post, “Everything changed since [President Biden] took over. This part of the border wall was built four years ago. Now we’re just letting people through.”
According to CBS, Democratic presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is sounding the alarm about this crisis in a new documentary, “Midnight at the Border,” after spending three days in Yuma, “meeting with migrants, elected officials, law enforcement, and social service agencies.”
While no fan of former President Donald Trump, Kennedy said he believes some of Trump’s policies should be looked at again.
Democrats have been evading the question about the border with world salads and double speak.
The border is not an issue that can be ignored in the upcoming election.
It needs to be the focus, and the candidates, especially the president, who has evaded this issue for his entire tenure, need to have answers and real solutions.

Actions by officials on Maui have contributed to an air of suspicion about the handling of the Lahaina fire that killed over 100 and left around 1000 people unaccounted for, including many children. Media access is tightly controlled, drones are grounded for getting too close to the suspected origin site of the fire and now satellite images from the fire have been taken down from a news site. The censorship incident appears to be isolated but troubling just the same. The photos were widely published and remain online elsewhere.
A Gateway Pundit reader sent in a tip (thank you) that an interactive satellite map APP comparing before and after photos of Lahaina has been taken down. The map was featured in a news article by Scooty Nickerson with the Bay Area News Group headlined: Interactive Maui wildfire map: Before and after images of Lahaina show scale of devastation
A message where the images once were reads: “At the request of responding organizations in Hawai’i and out of respect for the ongoing situation, the imagery and data in this app have been removed.” The before picture is still available by clicking the “close” button in the display.

Report: Those Who Disobeyed Road Barricade Survived Maui Fire; Those Who Didn’t Perished

The Associated Press reported Wednesday that people in Maui who drove around a road barricade blocking the lone paved road from Lahaina as fires raged earlier this month survived, while those who obeyed perished in their cars or fled to the nearby ocean. The road had been reportedly closed due to downed powerlines.

The opening paragraphs of the deeply reported AP article followed by one woman’s tale of disobeying the government to survive:
As flames tore through a West Maui neighborhood, car after car of fleeing residents headed for the only paved road out of town in a desperate race for safety.
And car after car was turned back toward the rapidly spreading wildfire by a barricade blocking access to Highway 30.
One family swerved around the barricade and was safe in a nearby town 48 minutes later, another drove their 4-wheel-drive car down a dirt road to escape. One man took an dirt road uphill, climbing above the fire and watching as Lahaina burned. He later picked his way through the flames, smoke and rubble to pull survivors to safety.
But dozens of others found themselves caught in a hellscape, their cars jammed together on a narrow road, surrounded by flames on three sides and the rocky ocean waves on the fourth. Some died in their cars, while others tried to run for safety.
,,,Kim Cuevas-Reyes narrowly escapes with her 12- and 15-year-old by ignoring instructions to turn right on Front Street toward Lahaina’s Civic Center, which earlier in the day had been turned into a shelter for refugees. Instead, she takes a left, driving in the wrong lane to pass a stack of cars heading in the other direction.
“The gridlock would have left us there when the firestorm came,” said Cuevas-Reyes, 38. “I would have had to tell my children to jump into the ocean as well and be boiled alive by the flames or we would have just died from smoke inhalation and roasted in the car.”

The AP article concludes with a survivor’s grief about not the government not issuing a warning that might have given him time to save his neighbors’ children:
Baird’s neighborhood near Lahainaluna Road was filled with kids who were home alone when the flames hit, he said.
“We needed like 10 more minutes, and we could have saved a lot of kids,” he said, choking back tears. “If we’d just had like a 10- or 15-minute warning.”
The family ventured out to a Kahului mall recently, looking for a moment of normalcy in the aftermath of the tragedy. They ran into a playmate of their son.
“The kids just don’t have a filter. So their son ran up and was just telling our son, you know, ‘This kid is dead. This kid is dead.’ And it’s like, all my son’s friends that they come to our house every day,” he said. “And their parents were at work, and they were home alone. And nobody had a warning. Nobody, nobody, nobody knew.”
The government refuses to say how many children were killed in the fire. The only reports are over one hundred people killed and about 1000 missing. Over 2000 homes, apartment buildings and other structures were destroyed.

D.C. Attorney General is probing Leonard Leo’s network
The Federalist Society co-chair and ex-Trump judicial adviser has utilized nonprofit groups to collect more than $1 billion for conservative causes.
Washington D.C. Attorney General Brian Schwalb is investigating judicial activist Leonard Leo and his network of nonprofit groups, according to a person with direct knowledge of the probe.
The scope of the investigation is unclear. But it comes after POLITICO reported in March that one of Leo’s nonprofits — registered as a charity — paid his for-profit company tens of millions of dollars in the two years since he joined the company. A few weeks later, a progressive watchdog group filed a complaint with the D.C. attorney general and the IRS requesting a probe into what services were provided and whether Leo was in violation of laws against using charities for personal enrichment.

Portland School District Workshops ‘Equitable Grading Practices’ That Outlaw Zeros for Cheating, Missing Work
All schools in Portland system are expected to implement the new guidelines by 2025
Portland Public Schools is workshopping new “equitable grading practices” that bar teachers from assigning “zeros” to students who cheat or fail to turn in assignments.
The district’s initiative aims to address “racial disparities” and “inequities” in grading and instruction, a “journey” that the district began “during the pandemic,” a handout reviewed by the Washington Free Beacon says. “Grading for equity,” the handout states, includes eliminating “zeros” as a grade—even when a student cheats or fails to turn in a test or assignment. It also calls for no penalties for late work and no grades for both homework and “non-academic factors,” such as “participation, attendance, effort, attitude, [and] behavior.”
The new grading practices, which are expected to be implemented districtwide by 2025 after some classrooms adopted them last year, reflect left-wing efforts across the country to achieve “equitable outcomes” among all students. In California, for example, new equity-focused math curriculum guidelines aim to narrow the gap between gifted and non-gifted learners by abandoning “student tracking” practices that help accelerated learners access more advanced instruction.
Erika Sanzi, the outreach director at parental rights group Parents Defending Education, said Portland’s “equitable grading practices” hurt both struggling and high-achieving students.
“These equitable grading policies, however well intended, are a disaster for the students who struggle most and for the students who need accelerated coursework,” Sanzi told the Free Beacon.

Kari Lake Files Motion to Dismiss Maricopa County Official’s Suit Against Her

Kari Lake, the 2022 Arizona Republican nominee for governor, filed a motion on Monday to dismiss Maricopa County Recorder Stephen Richer’s defamation lawsuit against her.
Richer’s complaint, which he filed in June, accuses Lake of falsely stating that he intentionally sabotaged the election in the county.
Printers malfunctioned at up to 59 percent of polling locations on Election Day in November in Maricopa County, the Phoenix metro area.
The problem caused tabulators not to be able to read ballots. Long lines formed and because Republicans voted 3 to 1 over Democrats that day, GOP candidates like Lake argued they were most impacted by the chaos and a new election should be held.

Four-day work week proposed for Pennsylvania workers with new bill

HARRISBURG, Pa. – When those rare 3-day weekends pop up on the work schedule, it’s an office-wide celebration! Well, what if that was every week?
A new bill to create a four-day work week is about to be introduced in the Pennsylvania legislature.
It would require businesses with more than 500 employees to reduce their work week from 40 to 32 hours a week.
However, less work hours will not mean less pay!
A Good Day Philadelphia poll showed most people support the 4-day work week, and Rep. G. Roni Green plans to introduce the legislation soon.

Woman nearly killed when spear smashes through windshield as she drove on Texas highway

A woman narrowly escaped death after someone threw a spear through her windshield while she was driving on a Texas highway.
Shavone Canales was traveling on Interstate 10 in San Antonio around 9:30 p.m. on Monday when the metal weapon smashed through her front windshield, according to police.
Fortunately, the spear was stopped by her steering wheel and Canales was not injured.

She said she never saw the suspect.
“Somebody knows something, so I’m hoping somebody comes forward because that is so dangerous. Because if it’s not me, it’s going to be somebody else,” Canales told News4 San Antonio.
She posted on TikTok after the terrifying ordeal that shows the massive, 5-foot spear protruding from the front passenger side of her gray car with the sharpened tip lodged in the steering wheel.
The front seats were littered with broken glass.
“So, yeah, guys I almost died, somebody threw a spear through my car tonight,” Canales said. “It went into my steering wheel and everything.”
Canales posted a second clip showing a stunned police officer removing the spear from the car and holding it up for the camera.
“That is crazy,” Canales. “Look how big that is.”
The officer holding the weapon said it didn’t feel that heavy — maybe about five or six pounds — but noted it could travel a significant distance if thrown.
“You could have died,” he said.
Police said they are canvassing the area for security camera footage of the suspect. No arrests have been made.

More than 8 in 10 New Yorkers said the recent migrant surge to the Big Apple is a “serious problem,” which comes as New York struggles to house the influx of asylum-seekers into the state, according to a new survey.
A poll published Tuesday from Siena College found 82 percent of New York voters surveyed said the recent influx of migrants to the state is a “serious problem,” and 54 percent of participants described it as “very serious.”
Furthermore, 46 percent of the respondents said migrants resettling in the state over the past 20 years are a “burden” not a “benefit,” while 58 percent said the state has already done enough and should slow the flow, rather than continue to accept and assimilate new migrants.

This week, InfoWars published insider information that alleges the TSA and US Border Patrol will be moving back to 2020-era COVID-19 mandates and restrictions starting in mid-September through mid-October, to include mask mandates on all flights. This is in addition to the confirmed mask-mandate reinstatement at Morris Brown College in Atlanta, GA and Lionsgate Studios in Santa Monica, CA.
That same week, WarRoom’s Natalie Winters uncovered millions of dollars in funding, awarded primarily for the Department of Veteran’s Affairs, to ramp up testing and other COVID-19 related. This was just a week after the NIH appointed Dr. Jeanne Marrazzo, a staunch advocate for masks, lockdowns, and vaccine mandates, as the replacement for Dr. Fauci.
To further the suggestion that another lockdown scare is in the forecast, yesterday the US Department of Health and Human Services announced funding of $1.4 billion to “support the development of a new generation of tools and technologies to protect against COVID-19 for years to come” according to a press release:
The awards announced today follow extensive coordination with industry partners and include support for clinical trials that will enable the rapid development of even more effective and longer-lasting coronavirus vaccines, a new monoclonal antibody, and transformative technologies to streamline manufacturing processes.
“Project NextGen is a key part of the Biden-Harris Administration’s commitment to keeping people safe from COVID-19 variants,” said HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra. “These awards are a catalyst for the program – kickstarting efforts to more quickly develop vaccines and continue to ensure availability of effective treatments.”
Project NextGen, a $5 billion initiative led by ASPR’s Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA) in partnership with the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), coordinates across the federal government and the private sector to advance innovative vaccines and therapeutics into clinical trials, regulatory review, and potential commercial availability for the American people. The project builds on a better understanding of COVID-19 – with HHS developing, using, and constantly re-evaluating the strengths and weaknesses of current vaccines and therapeutics for over three years.
Recipients of the awards include:
$1 billion to four BARDA Clinical Trial partners to support vaccine Phase IIb clinical trial studies: ICON Government and Public Health Solutions, Inc of Hinckley, Ohio; Pharm-Olam, LLC, of Houston, Texas; Technical Resources Intl (TRI), Inc, of Bethesda, Maryland; and Rho Federal Systems, Inc., Durham, North Carolina.

The press release claims that their partnership with Regeneron will help develop a “novel monoclonal antibody that will protect people who do not respond to or cannot take existing vaccines,” despite their attempts to limit the distribution in Florida in 2021.
While Hawaiians are struggling to recover from a devastating fire with an utterly botched governmental response from top to bottom, and our border is wide-open with fentanyl deaths surging, our federal government has allocated $5 billion to fight against COVID-19, which practically no one knew was still a “thing”.

“Donald Trump told you this. They weren’t just coming for him or me,” he said.

The radical Attorney General of Washington DC is investigating the co-chair of the Federalist Society according to a recent report by Politico.
Democrats continue to be outraged that they do not have complete control over the American people. The last bastion of power that eludes the radical Marxists is the Supreme Court. If they are able to steal another election the court could likely fall under their tyrannical control.
Biden’s corrupt Attorney General Merrick Garland helped this process along when he allowed violent far-left protesters to harass conservative Supreme Court Justices outside their homes before the court’s decision to erase Roe v. Wade in the United States. One leftist was caught before he could kill Justice Kavanaugh and his family at home.
The DOJ never did find out who leaked the news that Roe v. Wade was going to be overturned. What a shock.
Now the Marxists are fighting back. DC Attorney General Brian Schwalb is investigating Leo Leonard, the co-chair of the Federalist Society, in the latest abuse of public funds by Democrats to harass their political opponents.
Democrats believe Leonard Leo is leading battle on the right for America’s courts. Democrats are outraged that the US Constitution is still relevant in the post-constitutional world.
Of course, Republicans will do nothing as these open lawfare attacks continue.
Politico reported:
Washington D.C. Attorney General Brian Schwalb is investigating judicial activist Leonard Leo and his network of nonprofit groups, according to a person with direct knowledge of the probe.
The scope of the investigation is unclear. But it comes after POLITICO reported in March that one of Leo’s nonprofits — registered as a charity — paid his for-profit company tens of millions of dollars in the two years since he joined the company. A few weeks later, a progressive watchdog group filed a complaint with the D.C. attorney general and the IRS requesting a probe into what services were provided and whether Leo was in violation of laws against using charities for personal enrichment.
David B. Rivkin Jr., an attorney for the parties in the investigation, said in a statement that the complaint “is sloppy, deceptive and legally flawed and we are addressing this fully with the DC Attorney General’s office.”
The news of the investigation comes as the nonprofit that was a subject of the complaint quietly relocated in recent weeks from the capital area to Texas, according to paperwork filed in Virginia and Texas. For nearly 20 years the nonprofit, now known as The 85 Fund, had been incorporated in Virginia.
Gabe Shoglow-Rubenstein, Schwalb’s communications director, declined to confirm or deny the existence of the probe, including whether the attorney general took any action in response to the complaint.

‘Government can’t choose to punish some people just because they don’t like their beliefs’
A federal court has ruled for a Catholic orchard owner who was banned from a farmers market in a nearby liberal city over his religious beliefs.
A report from Fox News revealed that a U.S. District Court judge decided Steve Tennes, owner of Country Mill Farms, and his family were improperly “forced to choose between following their religious beliefs and a government benefit for which they were otherwise qualified.”
The fight was with the city of East Lansing, Michigan, and exploded after the city retaliated against the family over Tennes’ statement online that he followed Catholic church teachings regarding marriage.
That would mean he would not allow a same-sex ceremony on his estate.
WND has reported on developments in the case over the six years it has been in court.
Fox said the case now may end, as the city had not confirmed it would appeal.
Tennes sued East Lansing in 2017 when officials there, after publicly mocking his faith, excluded him from a city farmers market at which he routinely sold his products.
The court ruling this week blasted the city for violating the Tennes’ free exercise rights protected by the First Amendment.
“The reason is simple: denying a person an equal share of the rights, benefits, and privileges enjoyed by other citizens because of her faith discourages religious activity,” the ruling explained.
Fox reported Country Mill Farms is a 120-acre, second-generation family operation in Charlotte, Michigan which Steve and his wife, Bridget, operate.
They had sold organic products at the East Lansing farmers market since 2010, but in 2017, city officials decided to target them with a “discretionary system of individual assessments” for participants.
In an interview with Fox News Digital, Tennes said the decision to sue over access to the farmers market some 20 miles from his home was hard.
“This was a tough decision we had to make seven years ago when we were faced with the choice of providing for our family like we always had, or walking away from our religious beliefs. And as parents and as veterans, that was a very tough decision to make,” he explained.
“But we’re glad that we were able to go forward with this and the court has come out with a strong ruling that helps not just our family, but really people of all backgrounds and beliefs to realize that the government can’t choose to punish some people just because they don’t like their beliefs.”
The family was represented in the fight by the ADF, where lawyer Kate Anderson said, “We’re just grateful for the court’s ruling, and hopeful that everyone can see that whether they believe with Steve or not about marriage, this is a ruling about each one of us being able to live according to our religious beliefs. And that’s the freedom that everyone should want.”

Cobalt is the essential component to almost every lithium-ion rechargeable battery made today, the batteries that power smartphones, tablets, laptops, and electric vehicles. Roughly 75 percent of the worlds supply of cobalt is mined in the Congo, often dug by hand for pennies a day by desperate men, women and children — “artisanal miners” — in subhuman, dangerous, and toxic conditions.
“The soldiers are wild and wide-eyed as they point their weapons at the villagers trying to enter the mining area at Kamilombe. Although they are desperate to reach their loved ones just a stone’s throw away, the villagers are denied access. What has happened here must not be seen. There can be no record or evidence, only the haunting memories of those who stood at this place where hope was lost.
My guide urges me to stay at the periphery, the situation is too predictable. From the fringes, it is difficult to see the details of the accident. The craterous landscape is obscured by a leaden haze that refuses the entry of light. Distant hills appear only as vague silhouette of a lumbering beast.
I move closer to investigate, treading carefully into the boiling crowd. I catch sight of a body in the dirt. It is a child, lying motionless within a storm of dust and despair. I try to make out the features of his face, but they elude me. Around the lifeless body, the ocher gravel has been stained in dark shades of red, like burnt umber or rusted metal. until this moment, I thought that the ground in the Congo took its vermilion hue from the copper and dirt, but now I cannot help but wonder whether the earth here is red because of all the blood that is spilled upon it.
I inch toward the cordon to see the child more clearly. Tensions between the soldiers and the villagers escalate to the brink of riot. a soldier shouts angrily and waves his gun at me. I’ve drifted too close and lingered too long. I take one final look toward the child. I can see his face now, locked in a terminal expression of dread. That is the lasting image I take from the Congo — the heart of Africa reduced to the bloodstained corpse of a child, who died solely because he was digging for cobalt.
The harsh realities of Cobalt mining in the Congo are an inconvenience to every stakeholder in the chain. no company wants to concede that the rechargeable batteries used to power smartphones, tablets, laptops, and electric vehicles contain cobalt mined by peasants and children in hazardous conditions. In public disclosures and press releases,:the corporations perched atop the cobalt chain typically cite their commitments to international human rights norms, zero-tolerance policies of child labour and adherence to the highest standards of the supply chain due to diligence.
Here are a few examples:
Apple works to protect the environment and so safeguard the well-being of millions of people touched by our supply chain, from the mining level to the facilities where products are assembled….As of Dec. 31, 2021, we found that all identified smelters and refineries in our supply chain participated in or completed a third party audit that met Apple’s requirements for the responsible sourcing of materials.
Samsung has a zero-tolerance policy against child labour as prohibited by international standards and relevant national laws and regulations in all stages of its global operation.
While Tesla’s responsible sourcing practices apply to all materials and supply chain partners, we recognize the conditions associated with select artisanal mining of cobalt in the DRC. To assure the cobalt in Tesla’s supply chain is ethically sourced, we have implemented targeted due diligence procedures for cobalt sourcing.
For Daimler, respect for human rights is a fundamental aspect of responsible corporate governance….We want our products to contain only raw materials and other materials that have been mined and produced without violating human rights and environmental standards.
Glencore ple is committed to preventing the occurrence of modern slavery and human trafficking in our operations and supply chains….. We do not tolerate child labour, any form of forced, compulsory or bonded labour, human trafficking or any other form of slavery and actively seek and eliminate them from our supply chains.
As scrutiny over the conditions under which cobalt is mined has increased, stakeholders have formulated international coalitions to help ensure that their supply chains are clean. The two leading coalitions are the ResponsibleMinerals Initiative (RMI) and the Global Battery Alliance (GBA). The RMI promotes the responsible sourcing of minerals in accordance with the UN Guiding Principles for Business and Human Rights. Part of the RMI’s platform includes a Responsible Minerals Assurance Process that purports to support independent, third-party assessments of cobalt supply chains and to monitor cobalt mining sites in the DRC for child labour. The GBA promotes safe working conditions in the mining of raw materials for rechargeable batteries. The GBA has developed a Cobalt Action Partnership to “immediately and urgently eliminate child forced labour from the cobalt value chain” through ongoing monitoring and third-party assessments.

The Japanese government issued a shelter-in-place for Okinawa.

According to Yonhap, North Korea fired a space launch vehicle toward the south.
