Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

    • I think many parents were unable to cope with being with their children 24/7 without a break. There were single parents who were trapped in tower blocks feeling scared to go out and disobey in U.K. I was staying with my offspring who was studying and her husband was able to work so my grandchild had varied company plus I was a teacher so we could do 2 hours a day and that was plenty of school learning. We also went out and looked at nature. usually I have no TV. There was a tv in their house and it was just like 1984/ brave new world, every 10 minutes horrible voices came over the airwaves telling people to stay in, stay safe and not go out or people would die. It was horrific, and it was having a very deleterious effect on my daughter.

      Arrogant, superior, daring the Kiev killers to shut him up. Those of us who have family and friends there wondered when he’d be grabbed. It’s unlikely he’ll be press-ganged to die on the front.

        • We’ve seen a proliferation of these types since the Ukraine war started. Lira is just more obvious than most, his eyes narrow as he oozes hate. It’s frightening to see ordinarily discerning people riding the “Free Gonzalo Lira!” choo-choo.

          So many Good People on Our Side are so rightly disgusted with legacy media, they’ve become exquisitely vulnerable to enemy infowar tactics. Bezmenov is saying, “I told you so”. We’ve become demoralized, defeatist, increasingly destabilized.

          If only it were as simple as the Russia Hoax or the CHY-na Dragon. There are multiple vectors of attack. Now even our own decent citizens – conservatives – are celebrating our demise!

          For at least 20 years enemies have been conditioning us to welcome the fall of the U$D. Drip-drip-drip. The constant stream of articles trumpeting “The End of the World is Nigh!”

          The continuous puffery of “Eurasia”, nary a hint of China’s internal social and economic mess. The shills skip lightly over the imperialist bully angle, altogether ignore the hopeless tardishness of the ‘Stans.

          WE are the quintessential Bad Guy, the one-&-only Empire that must go down in ruins.

  7. This just came up on my utube feed, I don’t follow anything similar. The only other time I have seen this was when people were exposing the mullah regime in Iran in 2009 and they were doing this there.

    Ukrainian plants help camouflage Russian defensive positions

    The UK’s Ministry of Defence has issued its daily public intelligence briefing on the war, and today it concerns Ukraine’s natural environment. It writes:

    Undergrowth regrowing across the battlefields of southern Ukraine is likely one factor contributing to the generally slow progress of combat in the area.

    The predominately arable land in the combat zone has now been left fallow for 18 months, with the return of weeds and shrubs accelerating under the warm, damp summer conditions.

    The extra cover helps camouflage Russian defensive positions and makes defensive mine fields harder to clear.

    Although undergrowth can also provide cover for small stealthy infantry assaults, the net effect has been to make it harder for either side to make advances.

At 21:00 there is a fascinating discussion , now that prosecutor Jack Smith has entered into the indictment , reports of vote fraud in Wisconsin , Georgia, Michigan etc. and by doing so he has given Trump the legal means , with subpoena power ( which no court in USA previously would touch ) to argue in court of law that the 2020 election was rigged !

Alastair Crooke (retired UK diplomat) explained in a previous interview that the West /NATO / USA have ignored changes in Russia after the USSR collapse and continued to view Russia as weak and backward. Once the economic sanctions were imposed on Russia , the West believed the Russian economy would collapse , political unrest within Russia would result , and a Ukraine offensive using NATO tactics of massive armored attacks would lead to the collapse and fragmentation of Russia.

    Sanctions did not endanger the Russian economy , Ukraine has lost the NATO proxy war , Putin as an approval rating of 80% , Ukraine financial scandal embroils Biden, BRICS is mounting a serious challenge to the US dollar hegemony , US credit rating is downgraded … but the continued message in spite of reality is Putin has lost.

  14. A COVER-UP? Report Details How Massachusetts Cops Are Withholding Basic Information Regarding Barack Obama’s Chef’s “Accidental” Drowning

    The Daily Mail exclusively revealed how Massachusetts state police are covering up basic information regarding the drowning of Barack Obama’s personal chef while still labelling his death an “accident.”

    As Gateway Pundit readers know, 45-year-old Tafari Campbell met his tragic end 11 days ago while paddle boarding on Great Edgartown Pond, Martha’s Vineyard, on Sunday night. A female companion was reportedly paddle boarding with him.

    Barack and Michelle Obama were not at home when Campbell drowned but were on the island.

    Massachusetts police are citing a Public Records Law exemption that allows them to withhold any information that could jeopardize an active investigation. Characterizing the incident as an accident allows the police to do this.

    Justin Silverman, the head of the region’s First Amendment coalition explained to the Daily Mail that police are abusing the public records law after ruling out foul play.

    The burden is on law enforcement to show how their investigation may be jeopardized by releasing certain information. And they’re not doing that right now. This really flies in the face of Public Records Law.

    The cover-up goes even deeper, though. State police officials are making sure that other agencies involved in the response follow their lead.

    They have even armed departments with rejection letters to send to the media, which has been bombarding agencies with questions.

    Here is what one of them says:

    Hello. At this time, we will not be releasing any recordings or materials, the message read, and cited the state Public Records Law, noting it exempts the release of records that ‘would probably so prejudice the possibility of effective law enforcement that such disclosure would not be in the public interest.

    The exemption allows investigative officials to withhold materials that could compromise investigative efforts if disclosed.

    Major Susan Schofield, the supervisor of communications for the sheriff’s office, only made excuses when pressed by the Daily Mail.

    Sorry, I’m trying to abide by the law. Obviously, we’re getting a lot of requests and we don’t like to not give out information, but we can’t.

    State police are investigating, and we can’t release information.

    The only matter supposedly pending is a toxicology report that could show whether Campbell had drugs in his system or suffered some sort of medical episode.

    Campbell, who could swim as evidenced by a video he’d previously posted, was found in eight feet deep water without a life jacket and wasn’t tethered to his board.

    Despite the mysterious tragedy, life is normal for the Obama family. As Jim Hoft notes, Sasha and Malia Obama left the island on last Tuesday, while Barack and Michelle Obama resumed some of their regular activities last Friday.

    Michelle was spotted playing tennis at the local Farm Neck country club, and Barack was seen playing golf at the Vineyard Golf Club with bandaged fingers.
