Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

      Hi yuki,

      lovely to see you too. My absence lately is mainly due to internet problems and being without a computer; typing on a mobile is not my thing. Have also largely stopped writing on my blog where the choice is: self-censorship or be banned. I never liked putting too much water in my wine. But do not relax too early, I will be back ? Meanwhile I follow Vlad and GoV as an avid reader.

      • Why not create a glossary for private communications? Somehow distribute it amongst our fellow travelers without exposing it to The Cloud.

        In a previous incarnation I worked on some moderately sensitive projects. We were taught how to create a very simple code. It’s really easy, the more ridiculous the better.

        For example, we never used real names for people or places. It was “Baggy Pants” and “Birthday Cake”, “The Library” and “the Post Office”.

        I no longer remember the real “what” or “who” – only the code, not the referent!

  3. Whatsherface is pretty sharp here. She nails this big mouth, Andrew Tate, for most of what he is. The most conspicuous thing I find with him is his lack of self doubt.

    In a Western world of broken families and absent fathers what should we expect? Influencers and role models will emerge by natural demand. Andrew Tate presents as a hyper-masculine, brash, rich, jet setting bad boy. Young men missing real fathers to fill that void in their lives will be easily led by such pied pipers of false male virtue. Sure, he spouts the occasional truth, but so what. This is requisite for the role. Spouting modesty, if such a thing were possible, would be much more valuable and fetching.

    This Pied Piper concept is an interesting one, though, especially in our time. Playing a pipe that entrances us to follow willingly seems like a much better control mechanism than using that same pipe to beat us into submission. If I were a pied piper what song would I play?

    I would choose a song that I knew would be an absolute can’t-miss smashing success. I would use all of my marketing expertise to study the psychology of the rats I wanted to lead so that my every note was irresistible to them, and so I could tap into a deep need or fear. After all, marketers know us better than we know ourselves, right? I would play a tune that played my audience like a fiddle, so to speak, so that I could lead them away from something, or someone I wanted them to forget about. Or else I would use the power of the song to lead my audience some place they would not otherwise go to.

    I am not saying Andrew Tate is an invention of anyone. Not at all. I could be wrong but I think he is his own bigmouth. What I do believe is that there are many such inventions, right now, meant to distract us from people and crimes that would awaken so many to some very harsh realities that large swaths of the populace would not follow along. I believe the foxes watching our hen house carefully sort and survey influencers, and influences that percolate up through our “culture”. These will start out earnestly grassroots, then can be hijacked like a yellow vest protest if the influence has qualities that presents an opportunity. The piper needs only to know exactly where he wants to take his followers before he starts out. And it is very hard for us to know when we’re being played because we want so much to believe. This is our nature. This is also known by media masters out to pull our strings.

    So hmm, Andrew Tate. What’s this? He recently converted to Islam? Uh-oh, there you go. See? I think I have been fooled by him. I said he was his own bigmouth, but this may change things. He’s like an email message with an attachment you don’t notice right away. Boys without fathers will study his every move. They are searching intensely. Now they are looking at a hero figure who is a Muslim convert. What better way to lead thousands of young white Western males away from their flock if your goal is to destroy Western civilization?

    Which now compels me to look around at what other white hot buttons are being pressed in Medialand? There are so many. I must be careful and observant before I jump on any bandwagon, no matter how pure of heart it seems to be. The devil is devious at using us on us.

  11. Forbes pointed to misleading data Sunday and claimed there had been over 400 “mass shootings” in the United States so far in 2023.

    They labeled their report “breaking” news and based it on misleading data from the Gun Violence Archive (GVA).

    Forbes claims there have been 402 “mass shootings” in the U.S. thus far in 2023, suggesting there were seven such incidents that occurred over the weekend alone.

    On July 4, 2023, Breitbart News pointed out the outlet was relying on the misleading GVA data to claim, at that time, over 330 “mass shootings” for the year in the U.S.

    Breitbart News noted GVA is a pro-gun-control database which abandoned the long-standing definition of a “mass shooting” as four or more deaths in a single incident by a single gunman and replaced it with “a minimum of four victims shot, either injured or killed, not including any shooter who may also have been killed or injured in the incident.”

  12. During Sunday’s broadcast of FNC’s “Life, Liberty & Levin,” New York Times best-seller author Peter Schweizer explained why a special counsel had not been appointed to investigate alleged Biden family wrongdoing.

    Schweizer, a senior contributor at Breitbart News and president of the Government Accountability Institute, predicted “all hell” would break loose should the Department of Justice go the special counsel route.

  17. Hackers linked to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) breached the email accounts of Ambassador to China Nicholas Burns and Assistant Secretary of State for East Asia Daniel Kritenbrink in hacks disclosed last week, according to a Thursday report by The Wall Street Journal.

    The hacks of the two high-level diplomats preceded Special Presidential Envoy for Climate John Kerry’s four-day visit to Beijing to discuss green policy with CCP officials, according to anonymous sources cited by the WSJ.     Note: consider this in conjunction with the suggestion that rejecting the vaxx is a form of mental illness (which was floated as a serious thing) and that a Canadian MD was actually confined to a Psychiatric hospital for exactly that….and the plight of NOT-AT-ALL political prisoners held in mental institutions behind the Iron Curtain because it was deemed that not wanting what is best ‘for the people’ is a form of mental illness.

    • I think he just doesn’t know how to deal with conflict, so he keeps charging ahead with his ideas. He doesn’t have the skills to be a leader. He sets up straw men and attacks them, and he runs away from real conflict.
      Hopefully he will be voted out at the next election. I don’t think he will resign.
      Elections are the only way to do it. That’s why I will probably vote Conservative in the next election, they are the only ones strong enough to beat him. They’re not perfect, but there’s a saying: “Don’t make the perfect the enemy of the good.” They would be far better than the Liberals.

    A: On one hand, Russia has already made several responses, one of which was the Wagner redeployment. Note that initially, the Wagner camp was said to be somewhere in the south of Belarus, closer to Kiev, which gave Ukraine a big fright. But eventually, after the NATO summit, as I understand it the new camp is now much closer to the Suwalki corridor in northwest Belarus, in the town of Osipovichi.

    Russia also announced the deployment of new forces closer to their Western border, which includes near Finland, as well as deploying certain strategic equipment there like Iskanders in Kaliningrad, etc.

    The largest of all, of course, was the decision to deploy nuclear weapons in Belarus. There’s no bigger or clearer a symbol of escalation or deterrence than that. And last I heard, the weapons have already confirmed as being deployed to Belarus, contrary to reports they were still working out the storages and things of that nature from a month or two ago.

    But, with all of this said, one important point that no one has made yet about these developments is that in some ways, much of this NATO 300k stuff is just empty blather…
