Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

    When Russia along with entire post-USSR was in a particularly deplorable state of decline in the 90s and early 00s, many teenagers were joining gopnik gangs. Unlike adult gangs, gopniks were younglins – mostly in the 10-20 age range

    Nevertheless, those “kids” were mimicking an intricate system of criminal hierarchy, prison slang and outlaw lifestyle of their respected elders – career criminals

    Gopnik’s main source of income was petty robbery. Bully some kid out of his lunch money, steal someone’s flip-phone
    If the gopnik gang was strong enough they could target lone adult men as well. Yet they rarely attacked people with no justifications for it. Even Gopniks had their own code of honour! They always tried to manufacture a cause through a series of techniques

    As i mentioned, Gopniks were mostly underage so they would use it for their advantage

    A pack of Gopniks would spot a potential victim from afar. They would send their smallest, youngest member to approach the future victim. 10-13 year old baby gopnik would ask him for a ciggie

    An adult man would naturally refuse to give him any. A little gopnik would then escalate the situation by shouting profanities and being a general nuisance

    This man would most likely push him away or try to discipline the little miscreant

    And that’s when the pack of older stronger gopniks would reveal themselves. “Hey you! Why are you attacking this little kid?” and then they would beat him up and rob him out of all his possessions. A perfect setup and a cover-up for concerned passers

    It’s also worked a self-fulfilling prophecy because gopniks would make themselves believe that they were “doing a noble thing”

    What did a little hoodlum get for playing his risky role? Promises. Promises that he will go far in their petty criminal hierarchy
    This gopnik technique is observable in geopolitics. The ‘more unified than ever” West is a well established gang of gopniks. For 20 years now they’ve been eyeing their neighbor – a former alcoholic who straightened out and became an oil rig worker

    Yet they lacked an excuse to mug him. They sorely needed some little stooge to set the stage. After a failed endeavor of 2008, they’ve reworked their strat and picked a new, tougher gopling

      Dissident elite sell interpretations to The Atlantic and to NATO think-tanks, but they’re as in touch with Russian identity as the Gender Studies Dept of Harvard University is to the heartland of the USA.

      Russians’ relationship to the State can’t be understood in Western terms. It’s wrapped in a thousand years of mythologized history that was carefully crafted to fill the spiritual void of the communist state. Intense Soviet indoctrination – psyops, infowar tactics we see deployed against us now – lasted nearly a hundred years.

      Then their world was torn apart. We won the Cold War: Russia was left in ruins, the battlefield strewn with dead bodies, the air thick with vultures. There was nothing but ill will from the victors toward the defeated. No council of reconciliation.

      The late 1990’s, early 2000s were dark and scary. The West that was so eagerly sought mystified everybody with its visceral loathing of everything Russian. The relations never developed beyond the purely transactional.

      Putin brought back a measure of stability. He’s attuned to his people, his leadership style seems appropriate. He positioned himself as antiwar, the opposite of what we’re told here. Now Western propaganda is so toxic all he has to do is run it through auto-translate.

  5. BREAKING: Supreme Court Strikes Fatal Blow to Affirmative Action in Historic Ruling – Bans Race-Based College Admissions- All but Eight States Impacted

    In a historic ruling, The Supreme Court on Thursday ruled that the Harvard and UNC race-based affirmative action programs are unconstitutional.

    Schools nationwide will no longer be able to discriminate against students on the basis of race.

    What a beautiful day for freedom, liberty and justice.

    The vote was 6-3. Chief Justice Roberts wrote the majority opinion.

    All but eight states used race-based affirmative action. The states that did have affirmative action at all prior to the ruling were California, Florida, Michigan, Nebraska, Arizona, New Hampshire, Oklahoma, and Idaho

    Last October, the US Supreme Court heard oral arguments in two separate cases about the consideration of race in college admissions: Students for Fair Admissions (SFFA) v. University of North Carolina and Students for Fair Admissions v. Harvard University.

    At stake in the Harvard case was whether the university violated Title VI of the Civil Rights Act by discriminating against Asian-American applicants. The UNC case concerned the school’s unwillingness to adopt a “race-neutral alternative.”

    The universities involved claimed race was one factor among many used in a while assessing student applicants and that their processes respect precedent.

    The conservative group involved in the lawsuits, however, said that the colleges were engaging in reverse discrimination by using race as an admissions factor.

    As reported by Fox News, one Asian American student, Jon Wong, was rejected by six elite colleges despite having a 1590 SAT score. He said this was due to affirmative action.

    He was one of the people behind the successful lawsuits today. Now he will likely be able to enter the college of his choice.

      In a historic ruling, The Supreme Court on Thursday ruled that the Harvard and UNC race-based affirmative action programs are unconstitutional.

      How outlandish were Harvard’s affirmative action policies?

      An African American student placed within the 40th percentile of their academic index is more likely to gain admission than an Asian student who ranks in the topmost, 100th percentile.

      Similarly, Black students who fall within the 50th percentile have greater chances of acceptance than White students who are at the pinnacle of their academic performance.

      Following the ruling, bitter Michelle Obama, issued a statement.

      Back in college, I was one of the few Black students on my campus, and I was proud of getting into such a respected school. I knew I’d worked hard for it. But still, I sometimes wondered if people thought I got there because of affirmative action. It was a shadow that students like me couldn’t shake, whether those doubts came from the outside or inside our own minds.

      But the fact is this: I belonged. And semester after semester, decade after decade, for more than half a century, countless students like me showed they belonged, too. It wasn’t just the kids of color who benefitted, either. Every student who heard a perspective they might not have encountered, who had an assumption challenged, who had their minds and their hearts opened gained a lot as well. It wasn’t perfect, but there’s no doubt that it helped offer new ladders of opportunity for those who, throughout our history, have too often been denied a chance to show how fast they can climb.

      Of course, students on my campus and countless others across the country were – and continue to be – granted special consideration for admissions. Some have parents who graduated from the same school. Others have families who can afford coaches to help them run faster or hit a ball harder. Others go to high schools with lavish resources for tutors and extensive standardized test prep that help them score higher on college entrance exams.

      We don’t usually question if those students belong. So often, we just accept that money, power, and privilege are perfectly justifiable forms of affirmative action, while kids growing up like I did are expected to compete when the ground is anything but level.

      So today, my heart breaks for any young person out there who’s wondering what their future holds – and what kinds of chances will be open to them. And while I know the strength and grit that lies inside kids who have always had to sweat a little more to climb the same ladders, I hope and I pray that the rest of us are willing to sweat a little, too. Today is a reminder that we’ve got to do the work not just to enact policies that reflect our values of* equity and fairness, but to truly make those values real in all of our schools, workplaces, and neighborhoods.”

      Michelle Obama points to her own experiences as proof positive of the benefits of affirmative action. In doing so, she conflates her individual success story with the systematic implementation of racial preferences that Harvard and other universities have been practicing for decades.

      However, Michelle Obama conveniently forgot to mention why she was accepted into Princeton when her test scores were so low.

      How did she reach over that bar that they’re always raising and get accepted into Princeton?

      Here’s how…

      Older brother Craig Robinson, the basketball coach at Oregon State University, and Michelle enjoy an afternoon together at Georgetown.

      Craig Robinson, who preceded his sister at Princeton to become its fourth highest-scoring basketball player. Robinson was a two-time Ivy League Player of the Year at Princeton University, graduating in 1983 with an AB in Sociology.

      During Michelle Obama’s junior year in high school, Michelle visited Craig at Princeton University, which had recruited him to play basketball (at 6 feet 7, he became the school’s fourth-leading scorer in its history). She set her sights on following Craig, also an excellent student. But, Michelle did not have high enough test scores.

      Michelle’s mother talked about Michelle’s difficulty in taking tests. Something that she still regrets to this day.
      Newsweek reported:

      For Michelle, Craig’s easy success was intimidating. “She was disappointed in herself,” her mother tells NEWSWEEK. “She used to have a little bit of trouble with tests, so she did whatever she had to, to make up for that. I’m sure it was psychological because she was hardworking and she had a brother who could pass a test just by carrying a book under his arm. When you are around someone like that, even if you are OK, you want to be as good or better.”

      …Some of her teachers told her she didn’t have the grades or test scores to make it to the Ivies. But she applied to Princeton and was accepted.

      So, how did she do it? How did she get accepted to Princeton even though she did not have high enough test scores?

      A campaign official answered that question for Michelle:

      A campaign spokeswoman says she had an edge getting into Princeton not because of affirmative action, but because her older brother was there as a scholar athlete.

      Thank God for big brother Craig.

      Michelle conveniently left this out of her screed today.

    In an appearance on WABC-AM radio Wednesday with co-hosts John Catsimatidis and Rita Cosby, House Oversight and Accountability Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) said that his committee’s investigation showed Joe Biden had made six policy decisions as a result of foreign bribery payments involving business deals arranged by son Hunter Biden. Comer said four of those decisions were made when Biden was president and that he cannot find a reason for the decisions except for bribery. Comer called the Biden family foreign business dealings “organized crime” and the Bidens themselves an “organized family crime unit.” Comer said the total amount of payments to Biden related firms could reach $40 million with the Bidens’ take at least $17 million.

    Hunter, Jim and Joe Biden, an “organized family crime unit, essentially, and the business model was to profit off of Joe Biden’s influence as vice president and future influence as president of the United States,” Rep. James Comer on Cats and Cosby.

    Comer said the FBI does not have the Burisma Biden bribe tapes, but says the Ukrainian oligarch who allegedly made the tapes of Joe and Hunter Biden reportedly has copies, as does his daughter.

    Excerpt from the New York Post report on the Comer interview:

    Members of President Biden’s family may have accepted in excess of $40 million from foreign nationals in exchange for favorable policy decisions, House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer suggested Wednesday. The Kentucky Republican said that his panel has identified “six specific policy decisions” where Biden, 80, took actions that indicate he may have been “compromised,” during an appearance on John Catsimatidis’ “Cats & Cosby Show” on WABC 770 Wednesday.

    Comer noted that of the six policy decisions, four of them “were made while Joe Biden was president early on — [where] we cannot come to any other conclusion as to why these decisions were made, other than the fact that this president is compromised.”

    “This was organized crime. There’s no other way to define it,” Comer alleged. The Oversight Committee chairman explained that as recently as “in the last five days” his panel has obtained banking statements and suspicious activity reports that show “more bank accounts, more shell companies and more Bidens” being involved in the family’s overseas influence peddling scheme.

    …Comer told Catsimatidis that he’s “confident” his investigation will prove the Biden family raked in “at least $17 million” from overseas, but that the “transactions could exceed $40 million-plus.”

    Comer said the Bidens helped communist Chinese firms “gain entry” into key sectors of the U.S. economy in exchange for payments.

  7. Looking Back: “We’re Coming For Your Children” Group, The Radical Faeries, was Founded by a “Man-Boy Loving” Marxist

    Over the weekend, “Pride” parades occupied the streets of some large metropolitan cities across the Untied States. As reported by The Gateway Pundit, one such event in New York City was shared by the Timcast News Twitter:

    NBC News was quick to come to the defense of the radical group and defend their actions as just “one voice that was louder than the crowd.” It is clear from the video that it is more than just “one voice” over the rest. You can literally read their lips. Furthermore, just five short (real short!) paragraphs later, in paradoxical fashion, NBC cites “long time parade attendees and gay rights activists” that said “the ‘coming for your children’ chant has been used for years at Pride events.”

    More interestingly, however, is later in the article where NBC noted that the “Radical Faeries” is one of the groups that organized this event. The Radical Faeries is a “semipublic gay community through which the rights of homosexuals were coupled with ideas of spiritual renewal and New Age practices.” The group was founded by long-time gay rights activists Harry Hay, who died in 2002.

    Hay was born in England, he moved as a young boy to California with his family, and he later attended Stanford University. However, due to health reasons, he left college in 1932. The next year he discovered Marxism, which he believed would support homosexuality under its principles. Hay was later introduced to the Communist Party (CPUSA)

    Hay resumed his role as a gay rights pioneer and leader in 1969 when he helped found the Los Angeles-based Gay Liberation Front. However, he was disappointed in the measured spirit of the 1970s gay movements. As a result, Hay cofounded the Radical Faeries”

    Being a Communist is controversial enough, especially considering at the time Hay joined the Marxist ‘religion’, he was forbidden from being a member of the CPUSA as a gay man, so he took a wife as cover. But there was still another facet of Hay’s life that isn’t oft talked about but is something that sheds some light on the “we’re coming for your children!” groomer chants seen by the Radical Faeries organization he co-founded:

    A champion for a diverse homosexual identity, Hay often waded into contentious debates, notably by advocating for such controversial organizations as the North American Man-Boy Love Association (NAMBLA), a pro-pederasty group.

    Now it makes sense. Hay wasn’t officially a member of NAMBLA, however, he did speak at NAMBLA conferences in 1984, 1986, and 1994 in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and New York, respectively. In his 1984 speech (I must warn you before reading this speech…it is very disturbing), speaking of his childhood and the “probably five or six times” he was molested, he said:

    I mention that because I think that the twelve-year-old, thirteen-year-old boy approaching puberty knows very well that there are things about himself that he needs to find out, that he needs to discover, and he wants very much to reach out and find someone who will give this to him…He already has the instinct to know that a great many of the things that he feels in himself are things he cannot share with anybody. He feels that the thing that he is he is alone in the world, that he cannot share it with his parents, he cannot share it with his teachers, he cannot share it with many, even most, people. But he needs to look for that someone with whom he can share.

    …

    This is something that in our own past as gay people we all must have experienced one way or another. We do have this sense of loyalty. We do have this gay way of being manipulated or being exploited; molested we are not. Being brainwashed we are not. We are actually participants in this little game….

    Hay’s speech is nothing shy of an attempt to normalize adult men molesting pre-pubescent boys in the name of helping them discover themselves, in Hay’s case, it occurred in a community pool using an underwater “hold your breath” game, groom them into believing sexual activity with a grown-man is a learning experience…someone with “whom he can share.”

    So before NBC sticks up for such a disgusting chant as “we’re coming for your children” and writes it off as if its just “one of many provocative expressions used to regain control of slurs against LGBTQ people”, perhaps they need to examine the history of the organization shouting this, and especially the Marxist pro-pederasty co-founder.

    President Trump on Thursday reacted to the Supreme Court’s decision to crush the racist ‘Affirmative Action’ policies at Harvard and the University of North Carolina.

    The US Supreme Court ruled 6-2 in the Harvard case with liberal justice Ketanji Brown Jackson opting out.

    The high court ruled 6-3 in the University of North Carolina case.

    The conservative justices said the race-based affirmative action policies violated the equal protection clause of the Constitution’s 14th Amendment, CNBC reported.

    “We have never permitted admissions programs to work in that way, and we will not do so today,” Chief Justice Roberts wrote.

    All three of President Trump’s Supreme Court picks – Kavanaugh, Gorsuch, and Amy Coney Barret voted to strike down the racist policies.

    Trump cheered the Supreme Court’s decision – “This is a great day for America.”

    “This is a great day for America. People with extraordinary ability and everything else necessary for success, including future greatness for our Country, are finally being rewarded. This is the ruling everyone was waiting and hoping for and the result was amazing. It will also keep us competitive with the rest of the world.     Today News Africa chief White House correspondent Simon Ateba granted an exclusive interview Tuesday with the Daily Caller’s Vince Coglianese where he revealed that he was scared the Biden regime would assassinate him.

    I don’t know if I’m safe, I don’t know if they’ll kill me, I don’t know what they will do next.

    Ateba has repeatedly butted heads with White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre in the briefing room for not calling on him in the briefing room because he tries to hold the Regime accountable. The interview with the Daily Caller came after the White House not only refused to let him ask his question but effectively erased him from the recording of the briefing on Tuesday.

    James Comer, the chairman of the House Oversight Committee is demanding that Biden’s Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen turn over any and all suspicious activity reports (SARs) related to the Bidens and Burisma.

    Now we’re talking.

    If Yellen doesn’t comply, Republicans should hold a press conference and ask why the administration is refusing to be transparent about this.

    House Oversight Chair to Treasury Sec. Yellen: Provide All Suspicious Activity Reports Regarding Bidens

    The House Oversight Committee and its Chairman, James Comer (R-KY), have been relentless in pursuing information into bribery allegations against President Joe Biden and the questionable overseas business deals of his son Hunter. However, the Biden administration has been resistant to transparency and generally slow-walks Comer’s requests or simply ignores them.

    On Wednesday, the Committee blasted off a letter to Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen demanding that her department provide “all suspicious activity reports (SARs) related to Burisma executives & entities to help further our investigation into the Biden bribery scheme.” They added, “The FBI sat on these allegations for years. We’re not.”

    From the letter:

    Dear Secretary Yellen:

    The Committee on Oversight and Accountability has reviewed government documents that allege President Biden, while serving as Vice President, solicited and received a bribe from a foreign source in return for certain actions. These allegations are consistent with the Committee’s ongoing investigation of the Biden family’s foreign business transactions—transactions that subpoenaed bank records have revealed allowed Biden family members and associates to profit over $10 million from foreign sources.

    The Committee seeks to craft legislative solutions aimed at deficiencies it has identified in the current legal framework regarding ethics laws and disclosure of financial interests related to the immediate family members of Vice Presidents and Presidents— deficiencies that may place American national security and interests at risk.

    This is the way. Republicans have got to start playing hardball.

    New York City is running out of places to house illegal border crossers. Mayor Eric Adams wants to place some of them in dorms at the State University of New York (SUNY), but a majority of New Yorkers is opposed to the idea.

    Even students are balking at the idea, which seems a little strange. Aren’t liberal college students usually the first ones to say that no one is illegal?

  12. Idaho GOP Unanimously Passes Resolution Calling For ‘Abolition’ of the Corrupt FBI if it Cannot be Reformed

    The Idaho Republican Party has unanimously passed a resolution calling for the “abolition” of the “corrupt government agency” if it cannot be reformed.
    The resolution states that the “FBI has a long history of misconduct, including abuses of power, entrapment, and other unconstitutional actions that violate the rights of Americans” and “recent revelations have shown that the FBI has engaged in government overreach, including the use of politically motivated investigations, illegal surveillance, and the targeting of political opponents.”

    According to a report from the Idaho Tribune, the resolution passed unanimously by 216 elected Republican representatives.

    Got a big belly laugh out courtesy of Bojan Pancevski, a European based correspondent for the Wall Street Journal, who wrote the article, Wagner’s Prigozhin Planned to Capture Russian Military Leaders. He claims to have the inside scoop on how Western intelligence agencies knew in advance that Prigozhin was going full Benedict Arnold, but is so naive that he did not realize he was being fed a fairy tale. He wrote:

    Western intelligence agencies also found out early about the plans by Prigozhin, Putin’s former confidant, by analyzing electronic communications intercepts and satellite imagery, according to a person familiar with the findings. Western officials said they believe the original plot had a good chance of success but failed after the conspiracy was leaked, forcing Prigozhin to improvise an alternative plan.

    This is a pitiful cover story. It is an insult to your intelligence to ask you to believe that the West’s intel folks discovered that Prigozhin was going rogue by “analyzing electronic communications intercepts and satellite imagery.” Exactly how does “satellite imagery” tell some photo interpreter that a coup is about to happen? Did Prigozhin scribble out his intentions on a big sign and carry it around outside for all to read? Maybe he was trying to recruit some muscle for the trip to Moscow. “Hey, I’m Going to Moscow to Grab Shoigu. Join Me!”

    In my experience, coup plotters are careful not to put their plans in writing or to talk openly about them on phones or radios. A genuine coup starts with the assumption by the plotters that they could die if the plan does not succeed. That sobering thought tends to be accompanied by cautious, subdued activity, not reckless bragging or boasting. That includes shying away from the prolific use of texts or emails.

    Do you remember the first rule of Fight Club? You don’t talk about Fight Club. Well, the first rule of espionage is that YOU DO NOT REVEAL YOUR SOURCES. Come to think of it, that used to be the cardinal rule of journalism as well. The “official” who fed Pancevski the “secret” account of how intrepid Western intelligence analysts solved the Prigozhin putsch puzzle broke that rule. Looks to me like he was confident that he had a willing tool in Pancevski and could count on him to persuade a gullible public that the CIA is really good at eavesdropping.

    The fact that the CIA briefed the Gang of Eight in Congress on Prigozhin’s planned uprising two days prior means that the CIA had information from a human source. It could have been a recruited CIA asset or someone recruited and controlled by a foreign intelligence organization. But someone close to Prigozhin was blabbing. Or maybe it was Prigozhin himself.

    I find it noteworthy that the Biden Administration went to extraordinary lengths to insist it knew nothing about the coup and certainly did not encourage it or support it. Oh no. Biden, Blinken and Nuland do not want Putin overthrown by force. Perish the thought.

    I think this leak to Pancevski provides additional confirmation that Prigozhin was acting in concert with Western intelligence operatives. What remains unknown is whether Prigozhin was genuinely cooperating with the West or pretending to spy for the West while actually being controlled by Russian authorities. I continue to believe it is the latter. If Prigozhin committed treason then Putin’s decision to go unscathed into exile in Belarus sends the message that you can go after Putin and live. That is not being magnanimous, that is madness.

    My read of the Wall Street Journal article is that it is the latest iteration of the West’s covert action to shape public opinion as well as damage control. It is no coincidence that Pancevski is told that other Russian Generals are under a cloud of suspicion:

    Made aware of the leak, Prigozhin was then forced to act sooner than planned on Friday and managed to capture the southern Russian city of Rostov, a key command point for the invasion of Ukraine. The ease with which Wagner’s troops took the city of one million that is home to a large military airport suggests that some regular forces commanders could have been part of the plot, according to Western intelligence.

    Western officials said they believe Prigozhin had communicated his intentions to senior military officers, possibly including Gen. Sergei Surovikin, commander of the Russian aerospace force. It couldn’t be determined whether Surovikin passed this information on to the FSB, or how the agency found out about Prigozhin’s plans.

    Yep, toss Surovikin under the suspicion bus. Why in the world would the CIA or MI6 want to cast doubts on Surovikin? That could weaken him and affect his ability to counter the Ukrainian offensive. Oh, I got it. Never mind. This article is a graphic example that the West is not going to let up in its campaign to destroy Russia regardless of setbacks on the ground in Ukraine. I wonder if Putin, Gerasimov and Shoigu understand that fact.

For decades Putin has claimed that he supports dictatorship of the law in a system that from as early as 2003 could be seen to be a stealth authoritarian one that become less subtle and stealthy over time.[…] He was careful early on to couch all his decisions and later even those few illegal or unconstitutional ones in a legal and constitutional veneer.

      As a result of the last week’s events that veneer is stripped away, and any Russian can see that Putin’s not so stealthy authoritarian order is built not so much on strict application of the law as on a series of informal power- and wealth-sharing agreements among leaders of various institutional, business, ethnic, and religious clans.

      I have frequently noted that Russian President Vladimir Putin is not the Stalin or Hitler of today. He is not an irrational, radical, bloodthirsty dictator or imperialist. Nor is he a liberal, democratic republican. Rather, Putin is a moderate authoritarian leader, who will democratize or authoritarianize dependent on what is beneficial for social and political stability, state integrity, and preservation of his and his allies’ hold on power.

      He is a balancer, who weighs and counterbalances various political forces rather than crushing them. The latter choice is made only when there is no other way to protect the cardinal goals mentioned above. This is true for Putin’s conduct of both domestic and foreign affairs.…

      Digging further back in Russian history, we might recall that the failure to punish the Ural Cossacks’ revolt in Orenburg in 1772 led to the rise of the Pugachev rebellion that shook the rule of Catherine the Great nearly to its foundations.

    Microsoft founder Bill Gates is being blamed by some for sudden malaria cases reported in the United States for the first time in two decades

    The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said Monday that at least five cases of malaria—four in Florida, one in Texas—were acquired within the United States and have been reported in the past two months. These cases represent the first time that locally acquired mosquito-borne malaria has occurred nationwide since 2003 in Palm Beach County, Florida.

    The CDC said the four Florida cases occurred within close geographic proximity and all have been identified and remain actively surveilled. The same response has gone into effect with the lone Texas case, including paying attention to any additional cases.

    The majority of malaria cases diagnosed in the U.S. are imported, usually by persons who travel to countries where malaria is endemic. Between the eradication of malaria in 1970 and the cases in Florida in 2003, the CDC reported 11 outbreaks involving 20 cases of probable locally acquired mosquito-transmitted malaria.

    “So let me get this straight,” one Twitter user wrote. “Bill Gates has been releasing GMO mosquitoes in Florida and Texas and now Florida and Texas for the first time in 20 years have mosquitoes that give people malaria??? Is that right?”

    The tweet was followed by a “community note,” citing the CDC and Environmental Protection Agency, which “evaluated the potential risk of releasing GM [genetically modified] mosquitoes into communities and determined that there is no risk to people, animals, or the environment.”

    The reference to genetically modified mosquitoes likely harkens back to a video clip that went viral in March, purportedly showing a mosquito with a serial number on its body that has been released as part of an experiment funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

    Although that clip was verified as fake by the Associated Press, Gates’ foundation in 2016 did successfully install a “gene drive” in a malaria-transmitting species of mosquito that renders females of the species sterile. It was part of another multimillion-dollar investment into the foundation’s “Target Malaria” project, based at Imperial College in London, England.

    The first vaccine candidate from BioNTech’s malaria project is known as BNT165b1 and was said to also establish vaccine production in Africa.

    The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation has worked with BioNTech in the past, including providing millions in grant funding during the COVID pandemic and developing HIV and tuberculosis programs.

    “It must be a coincidence that from 2003-2023 there wasn’t one case of Malaria spread by mosquitos…and along comes a company funded by Bill Gates…to solve a problem that didn’t exist…and suddenly in the exact places where he releases mosquitos…there’s an outbreak of Malaria?” another Twitter user wrote.

    One user wants Florida Governor Ron DeSantis to investigate the Microsoft founder.

    “I’d say it’s time for Gov. DeSantis to announce his plan to tackle the resurgence of Malaria in Florida,” the user said. “Did he allow Bill Gates’ GMO mosquitoes in the state? What is he doing to hold people accountable? As a Florida resident, this is a serious issue we’re quite concerned with.”

    Others viewed the outrage as a result of sheer speculation lacking any relevant data.

    “Absolutely wild speculation & disinfo spreading that the recent cases of #malaria in FL/TX are related to the “GMO mosquitoes” released by a Gates-funded org, and that *of course* Bill Gates has a malaria vaccine for it when HCQ works… one big conspiracy,” a user tweeted.

    A report published in 2019 by the Lancet Commission on Malaria Eradication said that if the correct steps are followed, malaria could be eradicated everywhere outside of Africa by 2030, and worldwide by 2050.

    The high court ruled 6-3 in the University of North Carolina case.

    The conservative justices said the race-based affirmative action policies violated the equal protection clause of the Constitution’s 14th Amendment, CNBC reported.

    Harvard said it will ‘comply’ with the Supreme Court ruling, however, they admitted they will still use an applicant’s essay discussing how ‘race affected his or her life’ during the admissions process.

    “Today, the Supreme Court delivered its decision in Students for Fair Admissions v. President and Fellows of Harvard College. The Court held that Harvard College’s admissions system does not comply with the principles of the equal protection clause embodied in Title VI of the Civil Rights Act.” Harvard College said in a statement.

    The only piece of sour news on today’s historic ruling abolishing race-based college admissions is that Chief Justice John Roberts wrote the majority opinion instead of the great Justice Clarence Thomas. His concurrence is the stuff legends are made of.

    This one paragraph, in particular, is making conservatives cheer:

    But Ketanji Brown Jackson, Joe Biden’s affirmative action Supreme Court pick, does not share these patriotic beliefs. After today’s ruling, she threw a race-baiting, hissy fit that predictably had liberals swooning.

    She accused the Court’s conservatives for having a “let-them-eat-cake obliviousness.” She went on to whine that the Justices detached” themselves from “this country’s actual past and present experiences,” while lecturing the “ostrich-like” members about “lived experiences.”

    Thomas noted the racially divisive screed masquerading as a legal opinion and demolished her in epic fashion.

    JUSTICE JACKSON’s race-infused worldview falls flat at each step. Individuals are the sum of their unique experiences, challenges, and accomplishments. What matters is not the barriers they face, but how they choose to confront them. And their race is not to blame for everything—good or bad—that happens in their lives. A contrary, myopic world view based on individuals’ skin color to the total exclusion of their personal choices is nothing short of racial determinism.

    JUSTICE JACKSON then builds from her faulty premise to call for action, arguing that courts should defer to “experts” and allow institutions to discriminate on the basis of race. Make no mistake: Her dissent is not a vanguard of the in-nocent and helpless. It is instead a call to empower privileged elites, who will “tell us [what] is required to level the playing field” among castes and classifications that they alone can divine. Then, after siloing us all into racial castes and pitting those castes against each other, the dissent somehow believes that we will be able—at some undefined point—to “march forward together” into some utopian vision.

    Unsurprisingly, this tried-and-failed system defies both law and reason. Start with the obvious: If social reorganization in the name of equality may be justified by the mere fact of statistical disparities among racial groups, then that reorganization must continue until these disparities are fully eliminated, regardless of the reasons for the disparities and the cost of their elimination. If blacks fail a test at higher rates than their white counterparts (regardless of whether the reason for the disparity has anything at all to do with race), the only solution will be race-focused measures. If those measures were to result in blacks failing at yet higher rates, the only solution would be to double down.

    In such a system, it would not matter how many innocents suffer race-based injuries; all that would matter is reaching the race-based goal.

    Worse, the classifications that JUSTICE JACKSON draws are themselves race-based stereotypes. She focuses on two hypothetical applicants, John and James, competing for admission to UNC. John is a white, seventh-generation legacy at the school, while James is black and would be the first in his family to attend UNC. JUSTICE JACKSON argues that race-conscious admission programs are necessary to adequately compare the two applicants.

    As an initial matter, it is not clear why James’s race is the only factor that could encourage UNC to admit him; his status as a first-generation college applicant seems to contextualize his application. But, setting that aside, why is it that John should be judged based on the actions of his great great-great-grandparents?

    And what would JUSTICE JACKSON say to John when deeming him not as worthy of admission: Some statistically significant number of white people had advantages in college admissions seven generations ago, and you have inherited their incurable sin?

    As one prominent conservative notes, this is exactly why the hateful left fears Thomas and is desperately trying to get him removed from the Court.

    Social unrest exploded across France this week, forcing the government to deploy 40,000 police officers to quell the violence. The turmoil was sparked after police fatally shot a 17-year-old teenager of North African descent during a traffic stop.

    The police killing of the teenager occurred on Tuesday, captured on video, shocked the country, and has since unleashed riots across major cities.

    The epicenter of the unrest is around Nanterre, located on the western outskirts of Paris. A map of the unrest shows riots are occurring nationwide.

The Western tanks, artillery, personnel carriers, air defense systems, and rockets are being effectively neutralized by Russia, whereas the Western- supported Ukrainian Army has not been as successful in neutralizing the Russian weapons.     My comment.. the performance of US military hardware is a major humbling realization for the US (apparently no Abrams M1 tanks have been shipped .. as they will meet the same fate as the newer German Leopard 2 tanks) as will be the utter defeat of NATO/UK/USA in Ukraine. When the realization sinks in to the US population their military is not capable of confronting a peer and the NATO proxy war in Ukraine is lost , it will be interesting to watch the fallout. Remember … the narrative is the US has never lost a war .

    DC Law enforcement arrested James Taranto today in Washington DC several blocks from Barack Obama’s home. CBS says he had “materials to make explosives” akin to a Molotov cocktail in his vehicle. Taranto allegedly has a January 6-related warrant out for his arrest.

    CBS said he was in Washington DC and attended the nightly vigils for the January 6 political prisoners outside of the DC Gulag.

    Jack Smith is reportedly preparing to hit President Trump with 45 additional charges as a ‘backup plan’ should Judge Aileen Cannon, a Trump appointee, delay or thwart the classified documents case currently in the Southern District of Florida.

    The additional charges are expected “in the coming weeks,” The Independent reported.

    President Trump was recently indicted on 37 federal counts in a Florida court in Jack Smith’s classified documents case.

    According to the latest leak, the special counsel’s prosecutors are preparing a “superseding indictment” – a separate set of charges against Trump in the Southern District of Florida.

    Jack Smith’s prosecutors may also bring additional charges against Trump in a different venue if they feel Judge Aileen Cannon is being too fair to Trump.

    This is the same theory that corrupt prosecutor Andrew Weissmann recently floated.

    Trump was charged with 31 counts of willful retention of national defense information and 6 other process crimes stemming from his conversations with his lawyer.

    Jack Smith however did not charge Trump with dissemination of the national defense information related to documents stored at his Bedminster, New Jersey golf club.

    According to the indictment reviewed by this reporter, In July 2021, at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, NJ, during an audio-recorded meeting with a reporter and two staffers, Trump “showed and described a “plan of attack” that Trump said was prepared for him by the DoD and a senior military official.”

    The Florida indictment did not include a charge for the so-called ‘Iran memo’ – so Jack Smith can hit Trump with charges in another venue outside of Florida.

    The Department of Justice is prepared to seek indictments against multiple figures in former president Donald Trump’s orbit and may yet bring additional charges against the ex-president in the coming weeks, The Independent has learned.

    According to sources familiar with the matter, the department has made preparations to bring what is known as a “superseding indictment” — a second set of charges against an already-indicted defendant that could include more serious crimes — against the ex-president in the Southern District of Florida.

    But prosecutors may also choose to bring additional charges against Mr Trump in a different venue, depending on how they feel the case they have brought against him in is proceeding.

    The Independent understands that prosecutors’ decision on whether to seek additional charges from a grand jury — and where to seek them — will depend in part on whether they feel the Trump-appointed district judge overseeing the case against him in the Southern District of Florida, Aileen Cannon, is giving undue deference to the twice-impeached, now twice-indicted former president.
