Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

      Was Prigozhin’s Mutiny a Western Intelligence Op Derailed by Russian Spies?

      There is still no consensus about the motive for Yevgeny Prigozhin’s and there is a lot of speculation. Some have posed the false dichotomy of having to choose “real coup” versus “pretend coup.” That approach ignores some troubling irregularities and facts, which point to a sophisticated double cross operation.

      My friend, Steve Bryen, an old U.S. defense hand posted an excellent overview at his substack, “What Didn’t Happen in Russia — There was no uprising and Prigozhin couldn’t deliver what he promised.” Steve is still well-plugged into the U.S. intelligence and defense community and he drops a bit of a metaphorical bombshell by revealing Prigozhin was in contact with Ukrainian military intelligence:

      To launch his operation, Prigozhin took a number of steps over a period of the past six or more months. Among these were constant, and provably false, accusations that he was not getting enough ammunition to fight in Bakhmut. Along with that, Prigozhin charged that the army leadership was corrupt, that they refused to defend his flanks during the Bakhmut operation, and that they were losing massively in the Ukraine war. None of these accusations were true. . . .

      It turns out, however, there was more to it than that. Sources report that Prigozhin had been in touch with Ukrainian military intelligence (known as the HUR MO), at least since last January. Some sources say that he also flew to Africa, where Wagner forces are operational, to hold a meeting with Ukrainian intelligence officials.

      Similarly there are reports that he also was talking to a number of special force units inside Russia, asking them to join him.

      I believe that Steve’s sources on this are solid. Pay particular attention to the timing — i.e., a meeting in January. It was a month or so later that Prigozhin launches scathing verbal attacks on Russian Defense Minster Shoigu and Chief of the General Staff Gerasimov. Also, according to documents allegedly posted to Discord by Airman Jack Teixeira, Prigozhin provided Ukraine/NATO with locations of Russian units in the Donbass.

      This is strong circumstantial evidence that Prigozhin not only went rogue, he became a traitor. Let me make one obvious point from a counterintelligence standpoint — providing NATO with the locations of Russian units is the equivalent of giving Eskimos a truckload of snow in January. NATO’s robust ISR capabilities make it highly likely that those locations were already known to the U.S. and European military and intelligence officers. This type of corroborating intel is what George Smiley, the mole hunter in the British TV series, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, called “fools gold.” It looks like the real deal but, when properly evaluated, does not tell you anything you don’t already know. It simply persuades those eager to believe to swallow the bait.

      I want to suggest an alternative possibility — Yevgeny Prigozhin was bait. The Russian military and intelligence chiefs are not deaf, dumb, and blind. Since the start of the Special Military Operation, Western politicians and pundits stridently have insisted that Putin is weak; Putin faces serious political opposition; Putin is terminally ill; and Russia is teetering on the brink of economic and political disaster. Here is former Ukrainian President Poroshenko throwing some shade Putin’s way:

      Former CIA officer John Sipher’s silly analysis is itself evidence of why the CIA is a failed institution. He writes:

      Like the Tsars before him, Putin has survived by a willingness to use force at home and abroad, and by maintaining an image of power. Over the past two decades, many observers have used the same phrase to describe Putin’s actions on the international stage — Putin plays a weak hand well. His bullying, threats and lies have protected him from those who might threaten his power.

      However, like Tsar Nicholas in WWI, with his invasion of Ukraine, Putin foolishly turned over all his cards and showed his weak hand, seemingly breaking his spell of invincibility. In doing so he has allowed his enemies to better gauge their own strength and position. While it is not clear if Putin has gravely jeopardized his control at home, he has nonetheless weakened himself and Russia, and can no longer bluff that he is playing a winning hand.

      I think the Russian leadership finally concluded that the West sincerely believed this nonsense and decided to send Washington and London their own version of Luca Brasi — a loyal soldier now ready to betray the family. You want a traitor? Here’s your traitor.

      So far, Yevgeny Prigozhin has not suffered the same fate as Mr. Brasi. Instead, he returned from Africa to the bloody battle of Bakhmut, having assured his new buddies in the West that he was with them, and then began trashing Russian Defense leadership and tactics while passing “valuable” intelligence to his contacts in Ukraine.

      Talk about titillating. Western political and intel chiefs in the know were quivering with the excitement of anticipating the moment when Prigozhin would make his bold move and the Russian house of cards would collapse. Who could stop the invincible Wagnerians led by Chef Prigozhin?

      So we are left with two possibilities — Prigozhin flipped and decided to play for team Ukraine and team NATO or Prigozhin, a consummate actor, was a double agent who kept his colleagues in the GRU apprised of his plans and upcoming actions on behalf of NATO. Betraying Russia by becoming a Western agent — i.e., a guy who has agreed to spy for one or more of the Western intelligence outfits — is unpardonable. Guys and gals that do that are likely to suffer the same fate as the Godfather’s Luca Brasi.

      When I step back and examine Prigozhin’s actions after the start of the mutiny, I am reminded of an actor engaged in improvisation. Just take a look at Prigozhin’s completely contradictory and provably false claims over the weekend about why he was leading the mutiny. First he said that Putin is a dupe who was fed lies about the unnecessary and illegitimate invasion of Ukraine:

      Wagner Group boss Yevgeny Prigozhin on Friday cast doubt on Russian President Vladimir Putin‘s justifications for launching a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, saying they were lies fed to him by the Kremlin’s top brass.

      Russia’s Defense Ministry has been “deceiving” Russian society and Putin, Prigozhin said in an expletive-ridden 30-minute video posted on his Telegram channel. It has escalated his public feud with Sergei Shoigu, the country’s defense minister.

      The Russian businessman, a longtime ally of Putin, has for months been intensifying his verbal barrage against Shoigu.

      Then, two days later, he changes gears and insists it was just a protest:

      Russian mercenary leader Yevgeny Prigozhin said on Monday that a one-day mutiny by his Wagner force had been intended not to overthrow Russia’s government but to register a protest over what he said was its ineffectual conduct of the war in Ukraine.

      In his first public comments since ending the mutiny late on Saturday, Prigozhin repeated his frequent claim that Wagner was the most effective fighting force in Russia “and even the world”, and that it put to shame the units that Moscow had sent into Ukraine on Feb. 24, 2022.

      One more data point. David Sanger and Julian Barnes, writing for the New York Times, report that:

      American intelligence officials briefed senior military and administration officials on Wednesday that Yevgeny Prigozhin, the leader of the mercenary Wagner Group, was preparing to take military action against senior Russian defense officials, according to officials familiar with the matter.

      U.S. spy agencies had indications days earlier that Mr. Prigozhin was planning something and worked to refine that material into a finished assessment, officials said.

      The information shows that the United States was aware of impending events in Russia, similar to how intelligence agencies had warned in late 2021 that Vladimir V. Putin was planning to invade Ukraine.

      Got that? The U.S. knew in advance. Any chance the Russians had an inkling of what was afoot?

      Some smart analysts argue that Russia would not engage in such an elaborate ruse because of the risks that it could go wrong or that it would portray Russia as vulnerable. A fair point. However, Russia realizes it is at war with the West, not just metaphorically, and that the United States and many countries in Europe are keen to see it ripped asunder. When an opportunity to blow up that meme falls into your lap, you take it.

      Russia was able to accomplish several objectives during this double-cross mutiny. It moved troops to areas under the guise of countering the coup that otherwise would have drawn attention and possible attack if carried out during normal wartime operations. Vladimir Putin gained a better appreciation of his popular support. Not even the Communist Party, which despises Putin, came out to back Prigozhin. The West continues to insist that this was a show of weakness by Putin. Really? No political opponent of any consequence jumped on the coup bandwagon. The Russian people did not flock to the streets in an Orange revolution rush calling for Putin’s head. Just the opposite.

      Let’s imagine an alternative scenario. There is a coup/mutiny in Washington, DC against Joe Biden. Does anyone really believe that the 50 Governors and all members of the Senate and House would rush to Joe Biden’s defense? I don’t.

          Joking. But there is an anti-Russian sensibility in Europe that goes back centuries. Maybe something to do with wars of East vs. West Christianity. It only got worse after Peter the Great wanted his country to identify as European.

          I look at pictures in British papers published during the Crimean War (1853-56). The objective: Gin up hate for the (perceived) competitor for the India trade. Grotesque, dehumanizing caricatures. Plus comments nearly identical to what we see today.

          The (100% European) Tsar appealed to his cousins in Britain for asylum after he was deposed. His request was not granted. Only later did the armies of the West march in to sweep out the Bolsheviks. The bloody Civil War achieved nothing but enduring hatred that will abate only when the Messiah comes/returns.

  8. Texas College Fires Biology Professor for Teaching Students That Sex is Determined by Chromosomes

    St. Philip’s College in San Antonio, Texas, has reportedly fired a biology professor for teaching students that chromosomes determine sex.
    In November, four students walked out of Dr. Johnson Varkey’s lecture over the standard teaching about X and Y chromosomes, according to First Liberty Institute, a law firm representing the professor.

    The law firm has now sent a letter to St. Philips College asking them to “immediately reinstate Dr. Varkey to his position and clear his record of any wrongdoing.”

    The US House Judiciary Subcommittee on Weaponization released a riveting report Monday on the unconstitutional censorship efforts by the Department of Homeland Security and CISA to silence conservative voices and websites in America.

    The report focuses on CISA’s alleged work ahead of the 2020 election and the 2022 midterm elections.

    FOX News reported:

    The committee, led by Chairman Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, obtained non-public documents which lawmakers say reveals CISA “expanded its mission to surveil Americans’s speech on social media, colluded with Big Tech and government-funded third parties to censor by proxy, and tried to hide its plainly unconstitutional activities from the public.”

    In late May, Sarasota County, Florida, health officials confirmed they had identified a case of locally transmitted malaria. In mid-June, they confirmed the second. On June 23, Texas joined in: its state health department announced it had confirmed a case of local malaria transmission in Cameron County.

    This is all highly unusual. The US hasn’t documented a locally acquired malaria case in 20 years.

    Although about 2,000 people infected with malaria turn up in the US health care system every year, those cases are all linked to travel outside the US. Neither those involved in the Florida cases nor the Texas case had traveled. That means in both states, the infection was acquired within US borders.

Just like Russia would never have invaded Ukraine, and China would not have even thought about Taiwan.     • New York Appeals Court Dismisses Claims Against Ivanka Trump in NY AG Letitia James Case

      A New York Appeals Court on Tuesday dismissed Ivanka Trump from a lawsuit brought against the Trump Organization by NY AG Letitia James.

      Letitia James in September announced a lawsuit against former President Donald Trump and his family.

      AG James has been investigating whether the Trump Organization inflated the values of some of its properties.

      Letitia James said her office is seeking to:

      Make Trump pay $250 million.
      Ban the Trumps from running NY businesses for good.
      Ban Trump and Trump Org from buying commercial real estate in NY for 5 yrs.
      We’re making a criminal referral to the US Department of Justice
      “With the help of Donald Jr., Eric, Ivanka, and other defendants, Trump variously unlawfully inflated and deflated his net worth by billions to obtain and satisfy loans, get insurance benefits, and pay lower taxes. In short, he lied to gain massive financial benefits for himself,” Letitia James said in September.

      “We found that Trump, his family, and the Trump Org used fraudulent and misleading asset valuations over 200 times in 10 years on his annual financial statements. These statements were then used to obtain hundreds of millions of dollars in loans and insurance coverage,’ she added.

      A five-judge panel on Tuesday found that Letitia James’ claims against Ivanka should be dismissed.

      “The allegations against defendant Ivanka Trump do not support any claims that accrued after February 6, 2016. Thus, all claims against her should have been dismissed as untimely,” the ruling said.

      AP reported:

      A New York appeals court dismissed Ivanka Trump on Tuesday from a wide-ranging fraud lawsuit brought against her father and his company last year by the state’s attorney general.

      The civil lawsuit, brought by New York Attorney General Letitia James, accused former President Donald Trump of padding his net worth by billions of dollars and misleading banks, insurance companies, and others about the value of his assets, including golf courses and the Mar-a-Lago estate. It named his three eldest children — Ivanka, Donald Jr., and Eric Trump — as defendants, along with multiple Trump Organization executives.

      In a ruling on Tuesday, the Appellate Division of New York’s Supreme Court dismissed the claims against Ivanka Trump, ruling that they were barred by the state’s statute of limitations. While claims over alleged wrongdoing after February 2016 were permissible, the court said, Ivanka Trump had stepped back from involvement in the Trump Organization and wasn’t accused in the lawsuit of any misconduct during that later time period.

      Mark Lytle, an attorney for IRS whistleblower Gary Shapley told Fox News host Martha MacCallum that US Attorney David Weiss, the Trump-appointed Delaware prosecutor assigned to Hunter Biden’s case, said he had no power to bring charges against Hunter Biden.

      Hunter Biden was ultimately given a sweetheart deal by prosecutors and hit with two misdemeanors related to his tax crimes.

      Hunter Biden allegedly attempted to “evade or defeat taxes,” made false statements, allegedly committed fraud, and purposely “failed to file returns or pay taxes for over $8.3 million in income.” He eventually struck a plea deal that would most likely keep him out of prison.

      The whistleblowers allege unequal enforcement of tax law, government abuse, delays, and obstruction, “and retaliation against IRS employees” who blew the whistle on the abuse, according to a June 22 press release. The retaliation came despite assurances from IRS Commissioner Werfel, who said in an April 27, 2023 hearing, “I can say without hesitation, any hesitation, there will be no retaliation for anyone making an allegation.” The employees were “removed from the investigation after they responsibly worked through the chain of command to report their concerns about the investigation,” according to Smith.

      In the press release, Smith states Hunter Biden received “preferential treatment that would never have been granted to ordinary Americans.” According to the released documents, top officials, like Merrick Garland, allegedly blocked the IRS employees from properly investigating Hunter Biden. Of course, Garland gaslights the heck out of the allegations, saying, “an attack on the DOJ is an attack on American democracy.”

      Shapley Testimony
      According to his May 26, 2023 testimony, IRS Criminal Supervisory Special Agent Gary Shapley told members of the committee that the criminal tax investigation led by Assistant US Attorney Lesley Wolf in the United States Attorney’s office for the District of Delaware was handled differently from “any investigation [he] ‘d ever been a part of for the past 14 years of [his] IRS service.”

      The sad thing is, according to Exhibit 7 in the case, AUSA Wolf stated “there was more than enough probable cause” to issue legal search warrants but didn’t know whether “the juice was worth the squeeze.” Wolf also stated it was “likely that a lot of the evidence sought in the T26 investigation would be found in the guest house of Joe Biden’s residence,” but there would be “no way [they] would get that approved.” Wolf and other high-level officials seemed more worried about “optics” than the equal application of the law.

      Shapley was the highest-ranking IRS CI leader to participate in prosecution team calls and interacted directly with U.S. Attorney David Weiss. According to Shapley, Weiss told a group of assembled federal law enforcement officials on October 7, 2022, that he did not have the authority from the DOJ to file charges against Hunter Biden outside the District of Delaware. He also allegedly stated he had requested Special Counsel status from the DOJ. Attorney General Merrick Garland testified before Congress earlier this year that Weiss had the authority to charge in any district he chose and had never asked for Special Counsel authority, potential lies that are impeachable offenses.

      It became clear to Shapley that decisions were made “at every stage” which “had the effect of benefiting” Hunter Biden. According to Shapley, the investigation was first opened in 2018, tangential to an “investigation the IRS was conducting into a foreign-based amateur online pornography platform.” Some of the online pornography activities are documented by UncoverDC’s reporting on the Hunter Biden laptop material cataloged by Garret Ziegler’s Marco Polo website.

      The FBI knew by November 2019 that the laptop dropped off at a repair shop was the property of Hunter Biden. According to Shapley, when the FBI took possession of the laptop in December 2019, “they notified the IRS that it likely contained evidence of tax crimes.” Shapley states he became the “supervisor of the ‘Sportsman case,’” a code name for Hunter Biden, in January 2020. He worked with “12 elite agents” experienced in the “area of complex high-dollar international tax investigations.”

      Shapley described decisions in the case as being “slow-walked, not allowing enforcement actions to be executed, limiting lines of questioning for witnesses, and misleading investigators on charging authority, delaying any actions months before elections to ensure the investigation did not go overt.” He tells of one instance where a DOJ official tipped Biden off about a search warrant on Biden’s storage unit that would be served the next day. It was “AUSA Wolf and DOJ Tax Mark Daly who called Hunter Biden’s counsel and told them about the storage location and the request for records,” according to the testimony from Whistleblower Two.

      For those who believe Hunter Biden never discussed his business dealings with his father, who was Vice President then, Shapley testified he saw WhatsApp messages “from Hunter Biden to Henry Zhao” where Hunter Biden indicated he was sitting next to his father as he wrote the message. It was communications like these that, according to Shapley, “made it clear we needed to search the guest house at the Bidens’ Delaware residence” where Hunter Biden lived temporarily.

      These foreign business dealings almost certainly indicate FARA and national security violations. The IRS group was awaiting warrants, including one for the emails between Blue Star Strategies (BSS), the Bidens, and Burisma. BSS is a PR business in D.C. allegedly connected to the Clinton administration. Two former Clinton administration officials run the company. Hunter Biden may have been on the Board of BSS in 2015, although it has never been confirmed.

      Shipwrecked Crew makes some notable connections in his latest substack about the importance of the never fulfilled warrants. He writes:

      It is confirmed in paperwork and email records that HB was the go-between with BSS and Burisma when BSS was hired to do PR work to rehab the image of the Burisma owner, who was under investigation in for corruption in Ukraine and the UK. A corporate official of Burisma communicated with Hunter about “deliverables” — what Burisma was going to get from the contract with BSS that involved a monthly retainer — $30,000 if my recollection is correct.

      The deal between BSS and Burisma was signed in Nov. 2015. The first week of Dec. 2015, BSS — a private PR firm — was invited to participate in a White House teleconference planning the agenda for …. Joe Biden’s upcoming visit to Ukraine. That is the infamous visit where Joe Biden later bragged about having threatened to block foreign aid to Ukraine unless the prosecutor investigating the Burisma owner was fired. Exactly the kind of “deliverable” that Burisma was hoping it would receive as a result of its contract with BSS — and Hunter Biden’s fingerprints weren’t on it.

      Shipwrecked Crew then explains that the IRS team sought but was denied a warrant to “get emails of BSS” through “OEO.” OEO is the Office of Enforcement Operations, which “must approve all Title III wiretap applications before they are submitted to a judge.” It is a complex and laborious process, equal to the procedures required to acquire a FISA. While the IRS was not seeking wiretaps, it may have been seeking access to “unread email communications less than 180 days old,” according to Shipwrecked Crew.

      Many of those emails would also be “real-time” emails, meaning they would be “would be instructed by the Court Order to send copies of emails communications to the IRS investigators at the same time the emails were sent to or from BSS email accounts.” That means the IRS might have had a window into Hunter Biden’s ongoing activities.

      Moreover, Shipwrecked Crew explains Shapley referenced stalling by the OEO as “a problem for the ongoing FARA aspect of the investigation.” This may mean that HB and “likely BSS were under investigation for being an unregistered agent of a foreign power,” a claim that was never corroborated because of the failure to obtain the warrants.

      Whistleblower Number Two
      Whistleblower Two (WB2) is unnamed in his testimony. He states he diligently worked on the case for “5 years of [his] life” as a special agent with the IRS Criminal Investigation. He has been an IRS agent since 2010 and a “career government employee.” He stated he made “multiple attempts at blowing the whistle internally,” after which he was “essentially intimidated and retaliated against” for sending internal emails to the IRS Commissioner. He said he became “terrified” because he knew going public would “risk his career and his reputation.”

      WB2 and his entire team were removed in a retaliatory manner from the case after the April testimony from IRS Commissioner Werfel, the one who said he would never retaliate. Sadly, WB2 stated at one point that the “investigative process is 99.9 percent done, and we were in the process of bringing the case to indictment” when he was removed from his post. According to WB2, they had planned to “move forward with 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019. And it would be felony counts related to 2014 and 2018.”

      WB2 shared information from public records concerning Hunter Biden’s alleged addictive habits and financial dealings. These dealings left “his family with no funds to pay legitimate bills.” Hunter had shocking levels of financial debt with “maxed out credit card debt, double mortgages on both real properties they own, and a tax debt of at least $300,000.” Hunter was also “living lavishly through his corporate bank account.”

      Hunter’s Dealings/WB Two
      WB2 seems significantly burdened by the fact that the Biden family was treated so differently about tax-related charges. He says he was questioned repeatedly by colleagues about why he would want to question the way the case was being handled. WB2 says he felt he should do “the right thing for the right reason” and “it shouldn’t matter the name of the person” involved. “It should be the merit of the evidence, the allegation, and the clear understanding of why we are opening that investigation,” he added.

      Instead, WB2 shares he was told he “would get into a lot of hot water if we interview the President’s grandchildren,” a statement he attributed to AUSA Wolf. He describes having been discouraged from trying to find or talking to key people in the case, including Hunter Biden’s “employees that were also prostitutes” who would clean his hotel room for him. WB2 confirms Shapley’s testimony that the team was repeatedly thwarted from “going overt” so they could engage more deeply with other agencies on the case.

      WB2 states that because the case “was constantly hamstrung, limited, and marginalized by DOJ officials as well as other U.S. Attorneys,” he felt a special counsel “would have cut through the toughest problems that continue[s] to make problems for this case.” He also suggested Congress consider assigning a special counsel for “all related and spin-off investigations that have come forward from” his team’s investigation. In an email WB2 sent to his superiors after he was removed, he laments about the “human impact to the decisions being made that no one in the government seems to care about or understand.”

      And yet, he says he was “ultimately removed for always trying to do the right thing.”

      The response to his heartfelt email from the assistant special agent in charge, Lola Watson, was cold and procedural.

      What Should Happen Now?
      While these documents exhibit uncommon transparency and candor from the Ways and Means Committee, the question remains whether Hunter or his father will ever suffer the consequences of their alleged foreign dealings. There is much more Congress can do to expose the Bidens, and state attorneys general can prosecute at a more local level. Phone records can be subpoenaed. People like Kash Patel and Garrett Ziegler, who know the landscape, could be brought in to direct an investigation.

      Kash Patel said it best on Bannon’s Tuesday morning War Room segment of our nation’s leaders and attorneys, “They are intentionally looking to do other things, and I don’t know what those other things are.” Patel believes “State AGs should open investigations and impanel grand juries to prosecute Hunter Biden in every state he committed one of these crimes.“

      “We have Republican state attorneys general in several of the states where these crimes were committed, like Missouri and Arkansas. Then you get down to the next level below them, the district attorneys. In your county, you can bring that prosecution. It doesn’t have to be the whole thing, just a piece of it. But everybody’s gone lazy.”

      “Republicans have not been hard enough on the elected officials, Patel added. The Democrats have the gall to do it to the former president of the United States, and we can’t do it to Hunter Biden?!”

      Patel also stated that Congress should impeach Garland and Wray for “lying under oath and to the United States public and destroying our system of justice.” He says impeachment should not be political, adding that impeaching Joe Biden “gets us nowhere.” Rather, he suggests

      “If we can show the attorney general and the FBI director colluded and lied and buried a political investigation to benefit their current commander in chief, that is the very definition of election rigging, and it will be on the world stage. Every media outlet in the world has to cover the impeachments, the witnesses, the testimony, and the documents that are produced.”

      “That is what Colmer and Jordan and Congress should be focusing on right now, sending out either of those subpoenas or bringing up articles of impeachment ASAP. No letters, no phone calls. Stop with the text messages. Get off mainstream media and go do the job that we need you to do. Because this executive branch will not expose its own corruption. They will continue to cover it up.”

      Speaker McCarthy announced his intention to launch an impeachment inquiry into AG Merrick Garland for his alleged role in suppressing the Hunter Biden investigation.     Below is my column in the Messenger on the curious role of Hunter Biden as the “designated defendant” of the Biden family. Throughout the years of influence peddling and millions in transfers to various Biden associates and family members, Hunter remained the frontman. He is now expected to face accountability for these dealings. He even complained to his daughter in 2019 that he was being sued. Telling her that “It’s really hard. But don’t worry, unlike Pop [Joe], I won’t make you give me half your salary.” While he will get off light, he will be expected to take 100 percent of any accountability as his father repeatedly says how “proud” he is of his son.

    The reported plea bargain for Hunter Biden was of little surprise to many of us. Indeed, a year ago, I described these very counts as a way to carry out a “controlled demolition” of this scandal.

    Hunter Biden is, on many levels, a hapless figure of a man, devoured by destructive addictions and appetites. Yet the most tragic aspect of Hunter’s life may be his apparent role as the designated defendant of the Biden family. He allegedly became the conduit for what House Republican investigators say was potentially millions of dollars from influence-peddling, including possible payments to his uncle, the widow of his deceased brother, and even Biden grandchildren.

    In the law, the “designated defendant” is often a chump who is given some impressive title, a good salary, and the authority to sign reports or filings for a corporation.

    Hunter was clearly more than a simple dupe, but he never had much to offer beyond his name and access to his father.

    Many have noted that Hunter Biden was an implausible business associate or board member to be working with various foreign companies. He had lived a life that was a toxic mix of nepotism and narcotics, by his own admission. According to his 2021 memoir, during the period when foreign companies were clamoring to give him millions of dollars, he was “drinking a quart of vodka a day” and “smoking crack around the clock.” He kept up that self-destructive lifestyle, he said, until his father’s 2020 presidential campaign began.

      The latest Hunter Biden WhatsApp message comes just a week after an IRS whistleblower revealed Hunter was threatening a Chinese business associate to pay up or else.

      IRS whistleblower Gary Shapley revealed Hunter Biden demanded payment from his Chinese business associate over WhasApp messenger.

      Hunter Biden demanded payment and threatened Henry Zhao, a Chinese Communist Party official and director of Harvest Fund Management.

      Harvest Fund Management had previously invested in Hunter Biden’s firm, BHR Partners – a private investment fund founded in 2013 that is co-owned by the Bank of China.

      The July 2017 WhatsApp message Hunter Biden sent to Henry Zhao is as follows according to the IRS whistleblower:

      “I am sitting here with my father and we would like to understand why the commitment made has not been fulfilled. Tell the director that I would like to resolve this now before it gets out of hand, and now means tonight. And, Z, if I get a call or text from anyone involved in this other than you, Zhang, or the chairman, I will make certain that between the man sitting next to me and every person he knows and my ability to forever hold a grudge that you will regret not following my directions. I am sitting here waiting for the call with my father.”

      A few weeks later Hunter Biden received a $5 million wire from a Chinese firm.

      On August 8, 2017, $5 million was wired from a CEFC-affiliated investment vehicle (Northern International) to the bank account for Hudson West III, which spent the next year transferring $4,790,375 million directly to Hunter Biden’s firm, Owasco.

      Rep. Claudia Tenney (R-NY) said on Monday that Congress has evidence Joe Biden was in the room with his son Hunter Biden when Hunter sent a threatening WhatsApp message on July 30, 2017 from the Biden family home in Wilmington, Delaware.

    The sick, borderline evil Pride events that have erupted across America and Canada have drawn the deserved ire of Megyn Kelly.

    As the Gateway Pundit previously reported, gay and trans activists have partaken in several NSFW activities during these marches.

    In Seattle, fully naked men exposed themselves to children at a pride parade in Seattle, Washington on Sunday while riding bicycles.

    In Toronto, nudists with hats marched in the parade. Fox News revealed several children walked past the group of men with their families.

    Other videos show a group of naked men playing and rinsing themselves off alongside a fountain surrounded by kids. Meanwhile, a stage, clearly adorned with Bud Light branding, featured scantily clad dancers wearing fishnets, nipple stickers, and strange sock-like masks.

    One might ask why these radical sickos are partaking in these activities. In New York City, they spilled the beans with this evil chant:

    She called the experience uncomfortable. Kelly then used her disturbing experience as an analogy of sorts to what was happening in America.

    On a Zoom conference call, ALA Director Deborah Caldwell-Stone gave tips on how libraries can “keep control” and how to “handle” the See You at the Library events, including ways to disrupt the experience for families.

    A former Pennsylvania State University at Abington professor has filed a lawsuit after a college official told him, “There is a problem with the white race.”
    Zack De Piero, a former English professor, claims that the university discriminated against him and violated his free speech rights when he complained about the school’s “race-based dogma and discrimination.” He resigned in August of last year.

    Foundation Against Intolerance and Racism (FAIR) represents De Piero and says he was told to attend “antiracist” workshops for complaining about racial insults directed at white staff.

    “When he complained about the continuous stream of racial insult directed at White faculty in the writing department, the director of the Affirmative Action Office told him that ‘There is a problem with the White race,’ that he should attend ‘antiracist’ workshops ‘until you get it,’ and that he might have mental health issues,” the lawsuit says, according to a report from the Daily Wire.

    De Piero says he was also told to ignore poor academic performances from black and Hispanic students for “social justice” and to be “antiracist.”

    FAIR says that he was also told to “penalize” some students’ scores to “equalize outcomes on the basis of race.”

    “The logic of defendants’ demands required that DePiero also penalize students academically on the basis of race,” the suit alleges. “If, for example, students from East Asia or the Indian subcontinent excelled over other minority groups (who often had the same, if not lighter skin color), DePiero was asked to penalize them in order to equalize outcomes on the basis of race.”

    One of the training videos the professor was forced to watch was called “White Teachers Are a Problem.

    The complaint alleges, “Following the tragic murder of George Floyd in May 2020, the defendants’ ‘antiracist’ activism reached a new fever pitch.” His lawsuit cites emails from later that year, where defendants allegedly wrote that white employees should ‘Stop talking’ and directed writing faculty members to ‘assure that all students see that white supremacy manifests itself in language and in writing pedagogy.’”

    “Penn State’s bizarre brand of ‘antiracism,’” the suit says, “condemns qualities like ‘objectivity’ as ‘white supremacy,’ and purports to celebrate people of color for being incapable of objective thought. The common denominator at Penn State and among all defendants is the promotion of pejorative stereotypes on the basis of race, which have created a hostile environment not only for DePiero but for all faculty and students.”

    “The institutional intolerance that has become so prevalent in the academic space is extremely concerning to us and, you know, we want to champion someone like Zack, who has taken the brave and courageous step to stand up for his rights — and that translates to honoring the rights of his students to engage with … and receive the benefits from a full academic experience,” FAIR legal advocacy managing director Leigh Ann O’Neill told Inside Higher Ed.
