Developing: 100 Envelopes with White Powder Sent to Kansas Republican Lawmakers, President Donald Trump and Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas

On Friday night the Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) reported that 30 Kansas legislators were sent envelopes containing white powder.
KBI agents working alongside the FBI, KDHE, OSFM, Kansas National Guard, KHP, and several local police departments, sheriff’s offices, and fire departments have responded after mail was received by legislators and other public officials containing a suspicious white powder.
As of Sunday night approximately 100 envelopes with white powder were sent to Kansas legislators and public officials.
Kansas Attorney General Kris Kobach also received a letter with the white powder.
The media ignored this story over the weekend.
President Trump and Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas were also sent envelopes with white powder.
This did not make any headlines. Wonder why?
The AP reported:
About 100 letters containing suspicious white powder have been sent to lawmakers and other public officials across Kansas, officials said.
No injuries have been reported, according to the Kansas Bureau of Investigation. It had counted more than 30 letters as of late Friday afternoon and increased the tally to 100 as of Sunday.
In a Facebook post Sunday, the bureau said preliminary tests on the substance were negative for common dangerous toxins.
In emails sent to legislators and obtained by The Topeka Capital-Journal, Tom Day, director of Legislative Administrative Services, said the Kansas Highway Patrol had informed his office of the letters, which contain a return address of either Kansas City or Topeka.

In a shocking and brutal incident that has shaken the city of Bordeaux, France, a woman, and a young child were viciously assaulted.
The suspect, identified as an African immigrant well known to the police, has been arrested following the incident, according to Bordeaux Info.
The assault occurred in broad daylight, with the video showing the attacker approaching the woman and a young child, seemingly with the intent to rob them.
As the individual drew closer, the woman attempted to retreat back into the residence and shut the door. This action triggered an aggressive response from the immigrant, who then proceeded to assault them and dragged them out of the building.

Hunter Biden has reached a tentative agreement to plead guilty to two minor tax crimes and admit to the facts of a gun charge under terms which would likely keep him out of jail, according to the Washington Post, citing court papers filed on Tuesday.
Spoiler: none of the charges involve Hunter’s role as an international bag man for the Biden family (alleged, of course), which included a $10 million payment from Burisma to Hunter and Joe Biden, according to an FBI source.
The Post, which notably had a 1300 word article whipped up as the charges were announced, writes;
The agreement caps an investigation that was opened in 2018 during the Trump administration, and has generated intense interest and criticism since 2020 from Republican politicians who accused the Biden administration of reluctance to pursue the case. The terms of the proposed deal — negotiated with Delaware U.S. Attorney David Weiss, a holdover from President Donald Trump’s administration — are likely to face similar scrutiny. -WaPo
Hunter, 53, is now expected to plead guilty to two misdemeanor tax charges of failure to pay in 2017 and 2018, for a combined tax liability of roughly $1.2 million. He’ll also admit to illegally possessing a weapon after his 2018 purchase of a handgun – which will likely result in a ‘diversion program’ which would result in the removal of the gun charge if all of the program’s conditions are met.
In total, Hunter will likely receive two years of probation and diversion conditions.
The federal investigation into Hunter Biden began in 2018, and initially centered around Hunter Biden’s finances related to overseas business ties and consulting work. Over time, the international business dealings were dropped from the investigation – perhaps due to Joe Biden’s alleged involvement – and the focus shifted to Hunter’s failure to report his income, as well as whether he lied on paperwork to purchase the gun in 2018.

As far as the gun charge, Hunter Biden won’t even be pleading to that crime.
Prosecutors went easy on Hunter and handled the gun charge as a diversion case.
“Handling the gun charge as a diversion case means Biden will not technically be pleading guilty to that crime. Diversion is an option typically applied to nonviolent offenders with substance abuse problems.” the Washington Post reported.
“Hunter will take responsibility for two instances of failure to file tax payments when due,” one of his lawyers, Chris Clark, said in a written statement. “A firearm charge, which will be subject to a pretrial diversion agreement and will not be the subject of the plea agreement, will also be filed by the Government. I know Hunter believes it is important to take responsibility for these mistakes he made during a period of turmoil and addiction in his life. He looks forward to continuing his recovery and moving forward.”
Constitutional expert Jonathan Turley weighed in on the joke charges.
“This plea deal does have all the makings of an avoidance of any jail time, but more importantly, it was an evasion of the more serious allegations facing Hunter Biden and the Biden family,” Jonathan Turley said.
“This is gonna look like you ticketed the getaway driver after a bank robbery,” he said.

New revelations have emerged concerning the role of federal prosecutor Derek Hines in a contentious deal associated with Hunter Biden.
Derek Hines, previously serving as special counsel to former FBI director Louis Freeh, is one of the federal prosecutors on Hunter Biden’s sweetheart deal.
The revelations also shed light on a significant financial contribution made by Freeh to a trust for Joe Biden’s grandchildren in April 2016.

Former FBI Director Louis Freeh gave $100,000 to a trust for two of President Biden’s grandchildren as he sought to pursue “some very good and profitable matters” with him, newly surfaced emails revealed Thursday.
Freeh apparently made the gift in April 2016 — when Biden was the outgoing vice president — and shortly before he told Biden’s son Hunter, “I would be delighted to do future work with you,” according to the emails.
“I also spoke to Dad a few weeks ago and would like to explore with him some future work options,” Freeh wrote on July 8, 2016.
“I believe that working together on these (and other legal) matters would be of value, fun and rewarding.”
Derek Hines’ role as a federal prosecutor raises concerns about potential conflicts of interest and the impartiality of the legal process. Serving as special counsel to Louis Freeh from 2013 to February 2015, Hines worked closely with the former FBI director, which adds further significance to his connection to the subsequent events involving Hunter Biden.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Americans’ views about the morality of a number of behaviors and practices are largely stable compared with a year ago. However, significantly fewer say same-sex relations are morally acceptable, and more say the death penalty is.
Americans are most likely to say birth control is morally acceptable, with 88% holding that view. At least seven in 10 say the same about divorce, sex between an unmarried man and woman, and having a baby outside of marriage. Same-sex relations and the death penalty are in the next group, along with gambling, stem cell research and wearing animal fur, with between 60% and 69% of Americans approving of those five issues from a moral perspective.

Russia has issued a fresh warning amid new accusations that Kiev is planning major missile attacks on Russian-controlled Crimea.
Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said Tuesday that Ukrainian forces are plotting attacks with HIMARS long-range artillery systems and Storm Shadow missiles against the Crimean peninsula. Crucially Shoigu said that this would mean full-scale involvement of the United States and Britain in the war, given their military systems would be utilized.
The defense chief said “immediate retaliation” would follow, while underscoring that Russia’s retaliation would be felt directly against HQs within Ukraine.
“The leadership of Ukraine’s armed forces plans to strike Russian territory, including Crimea, with HIMARS and Storm Shadow missiles,” Shoigu said in a military briefing of top officials.
“The use of these missiles outside the zone of the special military operation will mean the United States and Great Britain’s full involvement in the conflict and will entail immediate strikes on decision-making centers in Ukraine,” Shoigu asserted.
The warning comes amid reports of widespread overnight Russian air attacks on Ukrainian cities, but Reuters is saying there were no casualties, and primarily telecommunication infrastructure and agriculture and farming properties were hit.
Ukraine’s military command is claiming its air defense systems successfully intercepted 28 out of 30 Iranian-made Shahed drones launched by Russia.

After the Biden regime announced yesterday they would let Communist China invade Taiwan, we learn today that they are willing to let our greatest enemy to build a military base right at our doorstep.
The Wall Street Journal reported that Cuba and China are negotiating to establish a joint trining facility on island. this will lead to Chinese forces being established just off the Florida coast. Cuba is positioned just 90 miles south of Florida.
The talks are at an advanced stage at the moment but have not yet concluded according to the Journal report. The Biden regime’s only move so far has been to try to convince the Cubans to consider how making a deal with China could impact their national sovereignty.
Of course, Cuba will laugh this off so America’s only hope is if the Chinese decide to have a change of heart.
The Journal reported earlier this month that Cuba and China reached an agreement in principle on a new eavesdropping site in Cuba but the Biden regime called the report false.

No Chance’ Of Extending Grain Deal, Set To Expire In July: Kremlin

Last week Russian President Vladimir Putin reiterated why he is dissatisfied with the UN-brokered grain deal as it’s being implemented in practice. “Probably, for the guys who are fighting, it’s not clear why we are letting the grain through. I understand,” Putin told journalists while explaining that the deal asymmetrically benefits Ukraine and its ability to keep selling primarily to Europe. “We do it not for Ukraine, but for the friendly countries in Africa and Latin America. Because grain should go first and foremost to the poorest countries in the world.” He additionally said last Friday, “the supply of Ukrainian grain to world markets doesn’t solve the problems of African countries in need of food.”
In new comments, Putin’s press spokesman Dmitry Peskov followed up on Sunday by saying at this point the deal which allowed Ukrainian grain to be exported through the Black Sea has “no chance” of being extended.
He asserted that Russia has “shown goodwill several times, made concessions” and allowed the agreement to be extended. But what Moscow was promised in return still hasn’t been fulfilled, said Peskov.
It’s hardly possible to predict some sort of a final decision here, but we can only state that – judging de facto by the status that we now have – this deal has no chance,” he said according to state media.
“The deal implies deeds; deeds on the part of the contracting states or organizations. And one part of this deal was done, and the second part, which related to [promises made to] Russia, was never done,” he continued.
The current extension of the deal is set to expire in just under a month, on July 17.
The UN/Turkey-brokered grain deal’s collapse would have immediate impact on the food security of literally tens of millions of people globally, but most especially in already struggling regions of North Africa and the Middle East. The UN has described the Black Sea Grain Initiative as “critical” to helping “stave off famine.”
But Putin’s complaint all along has been that grain hasn’t ultimately been going to regions most in need (in Africa and Middle East), but instead has been shipped to wealthier countries in Europe.

The ‘Get Trump’ Games Continue
Unfortunately, the country has no choice but to sit as idle spectators in the Justice Department’s reckless game to put the 45th president in prison.

It all started with a self-important official at the National Archives and Records Administration. Or at least that’s the official story.
In May 2021, William Bosanko, NARA’s chief executive officer, noticed two presidential documents were missing from the Trump Administration: the letter Barack Obama wrote to Donald Trump and correspondence between Trump and North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un.
In addition, Bosanko told members of the House Intelligence Committee earlier this year, “there were multiple high-visible items” that Trump’s team did not turn over to the archives. “There was a whole list of items that we were telling them, the administration, that we don’t have this. It must exist somewhere.”
When pressed by U.S. Representative Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.) to disclose the list that allegedly violated the Presidential Records Act, a civil statute, Bosanko’s mind went blank.
“There were a couple other items that I am not recalling,” he said. “But these were very obvious things that, given our role as the nation’s record keeper, we went back very informally to representatives of the former president and said: Might you have these?”
Seems innocuous enough. Unfortunately, Trump’s advisors yielded to Bosanko’s inquiry, which now appears to have been just another in a series of bureaucratic traps set to sting Trump. Instead of simply producing the letters—or better yet, telling the archives to pound sand—Team Trump gave Bosanko 15 boxes of materials.
And that’s when the games began.
The eagle-eyed Bosanko said he “knew that there was a problem within the first 24 hours” after receiving the boxes. Some of the files, Bosanko claimed, contained classified documents.
Bosanko insisted it was “readily apparent” the boxes included verboten papers. He also told committee members he did not know who packed the boxes at the White House prior to Trump’s departure and admitted that assembling presidential materials after one term in office is “usually a hurry-up” job.
But rather than carefully check his work before tattling to authorities on the former president of the United States, Bosanko facilitated a criminal referral to the Department of Justice just a few days later—a request Attorney General Merrick Garland was only too happy to consider.
Garland, of course, wasted no time. The FBI opened an investigation into the unlawful possession of classified documents on March 30, 2022. In response to a subpoena, Trump’s team continued to search for files with “classified markings” per the order. Contrary to reports that Trump and his lawyers did not cooperate with federal authorities, Trump welcomed Jay Bratt, counterintelligence chief of the department’s National Security Division, and three FBI agents when they visited Mar-a-Lago on June 3, 2022.
According to court filings, Trump delayed his plans to settle in New Jersey for the summer to greet Bratt and his group. “Whatever you need, just let us know,” Trump told them. His legal team then turned over an additional 38 records with classified markings to Bratt.
That level of cooperation—unimaginable from any other former president who undoubtedly would have filed one legal challenge after another rather than invite the sworn enemy into his own home—wasn’t enough for the Justice Department. An agent with the compromised Washington FBI Field Office sought and received a search warrant to raid Mar-a-Lago last August. The overly broad warrant, similar to the overly broad subpoena, authorized agents to abscond with anything in the vicinity of a file with classified markings, which resulted in a haul of 13,000 pieces of “evidence” from the raid.
Of that, only 102 documents contained “classified markings”—that is, if one is inclined to believe anything out of the Justice Department.
For months, Bratt fought the appointment of a special master while refusing to allow Trump and his lawyers to view the alleged documents in question. Judge Aileen Cannon, the Florida district court judge now handling the case, appointed a special master in September citing misconduct in the investigation’s early stage.
Her order, unfortunately, was reversed on appeal in December—a big win for the regime.
Trump now will be subjected to a new level of gamesmanship from Special Counsel Jack Smith, the longtime federal prosecutor with a dubious record handpicked by Garland last November to give his department’s dual criminal investigations into Trump a false patina of independence. On June 8, Smith indicted Trump on 37 counts, including the “willful retention” of 31 national defense records in violation of the Espionage Act. (Trump’s valet, Waltine Nauta, who handled many of the 80 boxes stored at Mar-a-Lago, faces five counts, including conspiring with Trump to obstruct justice.)
But the journey to indictment also involved much legal gamesmanship by both Garland and Smith. Nearly the entire investigation was conducted in the Trump-hating cauldron of Washington, D.C., not in southern Florida, the scene of the alleged crimes. Why? So a grand jury comprised of voters living in the most Democratic city in the country working with an Obama-appointed chief judge who routinely expresses open contempt for Trump and his supporters could grant the Justice Department’s every wish.
In one of her final acts before stepping down as chief judge of the D.C. District Court in March, Beryl Howell, who also oversaw the Robert Mueller investigation into imaginary Trump-Russia election collusion, took the unusual step of piercing attorney-client privilege between Trump and his lawyer, Evan Corcoran, at Smith’s request.
Concluding that evidence existed to justify the rare “crime fraud” exception, Howell forced Corcoran to produce his records and testify before the D.C. grand jury. That move, according to the New York Times, “gave prosecutors a road map to building their case.”
Would Judge Cannon, or any judge on the district court in southern Florida, or any judge outside a deep blue cesspool like Washington, had done the same? Highly doubtful.
Right before Smith closed up his grand jury investigation in D.C.—hauling in everyone from Mar-a-Lago servers to Secret Service agents—to seek a criminal indictment, he moved the entire operation to Miami so as not to create a legitimate venue argument from Trump. Smith’s trick was revealed by the Times the day before Trump announced his pending indictment on Truth Social.
And how did Smith’s bait-and-switch game go down? “Prosecutors would simply have to read the early grand jury transcripts to the new grand jurors or have federal agents offer them a summary of the most important points,” Alan Feuer, Maggie Haberman, and Ben Protess reported on June 6.
Sounds legit.
Smith asked—and was granted—a protective order that will require Trump to have a legal chaperone to view “sensitive” non-classified discovery materials. If Trump takes notes on the evidence, “such notes shall be stored securely by Defense Counsel or a member of Defense Counsel’s staff in the same manner as the Discovery Materials,” the motion reads.
And that motion doesn’t address the handling of alleged national defense information; one can only imagine what Smith’s next decree will involve.
Of course, Smith and his vultures won’t abide by their own rules. A steady stream of leaks has fueled the Justice Department’s public framing of the charges. Judge Cannon, to her immense credit, scolded Bratt during a court hearing last year for government disclosures to the news media. “I see the same things in the press that other people do. It’s bad. People are talking,” Bratt told Cannon while insisting the leaks were not from his end.
But no one should believe Bratt. Or Merrick Garland, Or Jack Smith. Unfortunately, the country has no choice but to sit as idle spectators in the Justice Department’s reckless game to put Donald Trump in prison.

Decadent Elites Plunge America Into Political Crisis
A regime that treats good people like criminals and criminals like “public servants” exposes its own iniquity.

If the last seven years of constant anti-Trump intrigue have shown anything, it’s that America’s liberal so-called elites want to govern a certain way and will not tolerate being told otherwise. Given Donald Trump’s recent arrest, they could not make themselves any clearer apart from possibly having the man killed. If he goes to prison, he very well may die there.
These kinds of dramatic outcomes to political battles are supposed to be precluded in a government of consent, which allows for a peaceful transfer of power (another phrase, like Our Democracy™, that has been bastardized in the mouths of the elites). Uprisings, show trials, assassinations, and the like are not supposed to be necessary when the people can choose and remove their rulers.
But the recalcitrance of the elites has pushed the country into a political crisis. Their refusal to be restrained by popular opinion has left a large swath of the population with nothing to lose.
Trump’s supporters are the regime’s helots, the “deplorables” consigned to sweat and toil for a government that openly hates them as they are gradually wiped out by an endless stream of more compliant foreign replacements. They have no reason not to support Trump because the alternative is to be governed like vassals.
When Biden hung the banner of “Pride” from the White House balcony, he was merely making formal the implicit. It was received like the taunt that it obviously was. These humiliations are now a normal part of daily life for the Christians and downwardly mobile middle-class whites who comprise the core of Trump’s base, and who are increasingly unable to recognize the country of their birth.
One needn’t be a fire-and-brimstone type to see a spiritual aspect in the grotesque spectacle that has become of the United States. There are neighborhoods in our cities that resemble scenes from Dante’s Inferno. But as in any oligarchy, the world of fabulous privilege is just a short distance from the mad hell of chaos and disorder. The elites live secure from the evils they midwife, leaving the innocent to face the penalty while they collect their rewards.
The White House is occupied by a venal, sleazy puppet whose sordid crimes have been covered up by the “free press.” The law is deployed to harass and terrorize people like Daniel Penny, the former Marine who was indicted (just a day after Trump was arrested by his political opponent) for restraining a deranged vagrant from attacking bystanders. Penny is no radical ideologue, but he didn’t need to be to provoke the regime. It was enough for him to have attempted to do the right thing.
A regime that treats good people like criminals and criminals like “public servants” exposes its own iniquity. But try explaining that to Jill Biden, who expressed “shock” that Trump still has supporters despite being arrested by her husband’s government for something no worse than something her husband did (and, unlike Trump, he did it without the power to declassify documents). Don’t Republicans realize, she told a room of wealthy donors in Manhattan’s Upper East Side last week, what a serious matter this is?
The Left isn’t trying to persuade anyone of Trump’s turpitude. Their own hands are far too dirty for that. They just want to crush him and demoralize those who find hope in his spirited war with the deep state that has worked endlessly toward his destruction and the ruin of liberty in America.
But until they actually lock him away, Trump will continue to dominate the scene. Strongmen thrive in times of decadence. When disorder becomes unbearable, and the government is neglectful, corrupt, and abusive in turn, people naturally look for protection elsewhere. This is as true today as in any period of political turbulence of the past.
Where others see a wrecking ball to a treacherous oligarchy, the oligarchs naturally see an emergency, a would-be tyrant who threatens the supposedly lawful system of “norms” they claim to uphold. They are willfully blind. In times like these, a charismatic populist like Trump will have appeal no matter how many times he is indicted, or what “crimes” the kangaroo courts can contrive.
To millions of Americans, nothing that Trump has done with any porn star or “classified” briefing measures up to the betrayal of having their country taken from them. Indeed, to earn the proscription of such “elites,” as we have, is its own honor.

Nobody knows what Putin’s Stavka[*], the high command, is going to do. It helps to read transcripts of his own speeches, his conversations with different audiences.
Context is crucial. His training as a lawyer is always foremost: he weighs every word. There’s a snakiness lost in reports about his comments, in Russian as well as translation. Projection is all too misleading.

Have you seen the latest polls? Not only is Trump winning the GOP presidential primary by a mile in every credible poll, but he’s beating Biden by a large margin in the general election too- in both the latest Rasmussen and Harris-Harvard polls.
But there’s something else brewing among the American electorate. Something utterly remarkable. Despite all the negative press…and hatred…and vitriol…and indictments…Donald J. Trump also holds the title of “the most popular politician in America.” Amazing.
But I’m not done with the remarkable part yet. Guess who is tied for number one with Trump? Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

RFK Jr. just announced for president a couple of weeks ago. There’s a total blackout and blacklist of RFK in the mainstream media. And the DNC has already announced there will be no Democrat presidential debates- denying RFK any platform to reach the voters. Yet RFK Jr is tied for number one most popular politician in America? How can this be?
The answer is…as James Carville would say… “It’s the Covid vaccine, stupid.”
RFK Jr. knows what I have known for 2 ½ years…and he boldly says out loud what I have said on my national radio and TV shows for 2 ½ years…the Covid vaccine is the biggest failure, disaster and coverup in the history of healthcare. It never worked. It is dangerous and deadly. It is a killing machine. Except it’s a “silent killer”- because the mainstream media refuses to report about Covid vaccine deaths and injuries. The Covid vaccine deaths are covered up by the media as tightly as Hunter Biden’s laptop.
And the one and only candidate for president talking about this deadly healthcare disaster and fraud is RFK Jr.
But the American people know. Pretty much every conservative patriot in America (Trump’s base) knows the vaccine is a disaster and deadly. 50% or more of independents know too. And I’m betting at least 25% of Democrats are waking up to the truth too. That’s a gigantic swath of the electorate. JFK Jr. has struck a chord with that large group.
That brings me to President Trump. The media has branded me the most fierce Trump defender in America. They’re right. I’ve been with Trump since the first day. He’s the greatest president of my lifetime. He created the greatest economy in modern history. If given a second term, I’m confident he’ll defeat the DC Swamp and Deep State, turnaround the economy, and go down as one of the five greatest presidents of all-time.
Trump is the only thing standing in the way of the total destruction of America, American exceptionalism, capitalism, and Judeo-Christian values.
But he has one weakness. One issue that is hurting him. No, it’s not the indictments. Those are actually helping him. The American people know the Deep State and DC Swamp are persecuting Trump because he stands in the way of their evil plans. Once they destroy Trump, we are all next. We all know that.
Trump’s only weakness is the Covid vaccine.
And I have the strategy to solve that problem and turn his weakest link into a huge win. Trump doesn’t need to change his views 180 degrees.
Trump simply needs to pledge (as soon as he’s back in the White House) to name a Special Counsel to lead a massive investigation of the Covid vaccine controversy; Dr Fauci’s role; the false claims about the effectiveness of the vaccine; the dangerous side effects that were never disclosed; the trial results that were covered-up; the deaths and injuries that were covered-up; the role of Big Pharma and government agencies in misleading the American people and in paying off the mainstream media; and the silencing, banning and censorship by social media of any dissent about the Covid vaccine.
All of this needs to be investigated and if proven true, prosecuted. So, this can never happen again.
And to make sure this is carried out honestly; and not whitewashed; and Big Pharma can’t bribe their way out of it; and it’s seen as bi-partisan…
Trump needs to pledge he will appoint RFK Jr. to lead this massive corruption investigation.
The beauty of my strategy is…Trump doesn’t need to change his opinion of the Covid vaccine. He only has to acknowledge the controversy, commit to investigate and let the chips fall where they may.
This investigation will be about truth and facts. Either the vaccine killed and injured millions around the world, or it didn’t. Either politicians, government bureaucrats, medical experts and the media were bribed to shut up about the deaths and injuries, or not. Either Dr. Fauci is an evil criminal and fraud who misled President Trump and the American people, or not. Let’s find out, once and for all.
But there’s only one way to ensure this massive investigation is carried out honestly and without being whitewashed…
Put RFK Jr. in charge.
This is a simple strategy for President Trump to turn his biggest and only major weakness- the Covid vaccine- into a huge win/win.
Pledge this Special Counsel investigation; pledge to put RFK Jr. in charge; show that you care; show that you’re open to seeing what really happened; and Trump wins back the presidency by a landslide.

As was reported by The Gateway Pundit, U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken’s reiteration of the long-standing “One China Policy” provides tacit approval for China to invade Taiwan.
But a recent poll, released by the Taiwanese Public Opinion Foundation, suggests a substantial shift in Taiwan’s political landscape which would render military invasion unnecessary.
A June 16 story from the South China Morning Post further explains how demographic changes in the Taiwanese electorate threaten to irrevocably alter the current balance of power. If polling holds through scheduled elections in 2024, the resulting outcome would almost certainly undermine domestic support for independence from mainland China.
In a situation where the Taiwanese Democratic Progressive Party is the minority, Beijing has no logical motive to conduct a military invasion of the island. As demonstrated in multiple historical instances around the globe, it’s much more effective to consolidate power and influence though subversion and/or rigging of elections — Sun Tzu’s Art of War is always applicable.

Gannett, the largest US newspaper publisher, has filed a lawsuit against Google and its parent company Alphabet. The lawsuit alleges Google has participated in a ‘deceptive scheme’ to gain an illegal monopoly over the digital advertising space.
The lawsuit states, “Publishers are not suffering because readers demand less online content. Growing numbers of U.S. readers get their news online, and spending on online advertising to reach those readers has exploded. Rather, publishers do not see the growing ad spending because Google and its parent Alphabet unlawfully have acquired and maintain monopolies for the advertising technology (“ad tech”) tools that publishers and advertisers use to buy and sell online ad space.”

Tucker Carlson blasted the two-tier ‘justice system’ on Tuesday shortly after the joke charges were announced.

Like all strategies built on staying power, this one will be tested at home as much as on the frontline.
