Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

    I apologize in advance for subjecting you to the following clip from CNN. It has the video of Putin I wanted to share but, unfortunately, is followed up by commentary by two of the dumbest, most dishonest pundits in America — retired Army General Mark Hertling and retired CIA Officer Steve Hall (one of my former classmates in the Career Trainee program). With no sense of irony or shame, both Hertling and Hall accuse Putin of lying. That is rich. Hall, if you recall, was one of the 51 “former” intelligence officers who falsely claimed that the Hunter Biden laptop was some wicked, Bolshi plot. This is the ultimate example of the pot calling the kettle black. Look in the mirror, Steve.

    You know, sitting back on this chilly winter Sunday, trying to fathom what is going on here on our planet, I have come to a sobering conclusion.
    I think, I don’t know, but I think, we are actually being farmed.
    Farmed by evil entities that are pulling the ultimate string of strings.

    Much like we common people think nothing of farming livestock such as chickens and cows to provide us with sustenance, I am beginning to wonder if “The Elite”, for want of a better term, perceive us literally as their cattle….as livestock to be controlled and disposed of when they see fit to do so.

    I am not sure, as I ponder the overall global situation that this interview has PERFECTLY illustrated who or what is the controlling entity of those people, right at the very top, I am not sure.

    At the very least, I can hang a name on these bastards…..and I hope it sticks to them so that, people will know who the real enemy is.

  3. America First Legal Sues DOJ to Compel Release of Records Related to Transgender Sexual Assaults in Loudoun County Schools

    America First Legal has filed a lawsuit against the Department of Justice to compel the release of records related to transgender sexual assaults in Loudoun County Public Schools.
    A transgender teenager was found guilty last October of sexually assaulting a female classmate at Loudoun County high school in 2020. The same student was accused of two additional sexual assaults at other schools in the county.

    According to AFL, they submitted a FOIA request to the DOJ on January 3, 2023, seeking the department’s “communications with District and County officials and other communications relating to the assaults and ensuing grand jury investigation.”

    “On April 20, 2023, DOJ replied and estimated that the search phase of the request would be complete in ‘nine to ten months.’” AFL said in a press release. “Then, the DOJ indicated that after the search was completed, additional time would be required to review the records and begin production.”

    In a statement about the lawsuit, America First Legal’s Senior Advisor Ian Prior said, “through the work of America First Legal and the House Weaponization Committee, it has become clear that Attorney General Merrick Garland, in conjunction with the National School Board Association and the White House, coordinated a plan to federally investigate parents speaking at school board meetings in part to help Terry McAuliffe in his campaign for governor.”

    “That plan unraveled in mid-October of 2021 as one of the incidents cited in the NSBA memo was the arrest of a father at a Loudoun County School Board meeting whose daughter had been sexually assaulted in a school bathroom,” Prior continued. “The fallout led to Garland being asked about the assault by the Senate and House Judiciary Committees, a special grand jury convening in Loudoun County, and ultimately the indictment of the former superintendent. Given what we now know about the Biden DOJ using Loudoun parents as scapegoats for its memo, it is imperative for the public to understand any further coordination by the DOJ with state and local officials following the truth getting out.”

    The father of a girl who was assaulted by the transgender teen at Stone Bridge High School was arrested when he confronted the school board about their inaction.

    Loudon County Superintendent Scott Ziegler told the school board about the first sexual assault on May 28, but kept the incident hidden from the public and continued to allow biological males to use girls restrooms at their schools.

  5. MLB Legend Curt Schilling Shreds Dodgers for Anti-Christian Stunt: ‘Billionaires Can’t Do Math’

    For certain sects of Major League Baseball fandom, there are few figures quite as mythic or legendary as Curt Schilling.

    The longtime MLB ace, who has played for a number of teams over his illustrious career, is perhaps best known for the 2004 “bloody sock” game, wherein Schilling pitched a dominant game despite recovering from ankle surgery. In subsequent replays of the game, you can clearly see a red blotch on Schilling’s sock grow larger as the game went on.

    Oh, and there was also the not-so-insignificant fact that Schilling’s bloody sock game came during a historic playoff comeback, as Schilling and the Boston Red Sox completed the first-ever comeback from a 3-0 series deficit in MLB history (a feat that still hasn’t been accomplished in the NBA.) And it also happened to be at the expense of the hated Red Sox rivals, the New York Yankees.

    Point being: Curt Schilling knows and loves baseball, a sport in which he has reached the highest possible levels. His thoughts on the sport are not the bitter ramblings of a has-been or never-was — they’re insight from a man embedded in the annals of baseball lore.

    So it’s with that preface that baseball should listen long and hard to what Schilling has to say about the current state of the MLB product.

    Curt Schilling appeared on Saturday’s episode of “Jesse Watters Primetime” to discuss a litany of topics, but he honed in on one particularly feisty cultural battleground: Dodger Stadium, home of the Los Angeles Dodgers.

    For the unaware, the Dodgers have found themselves squarely in the eye of a storm when it invited, then dis-invited, and then re-invited a mentally disturbed group of blasphemers known as the “Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence.” (If you’re morbidly curious, you can go to this article to see a video of the SPI’s “performances,” but be warned — this stuff is genuinely grotesque and sickening.)

    That debacle, in turn, led to all manner of protests, counter-protests, arguments and debates about whether or not the Dodgers were in the wrong. Spoiler alert: Yes, they were.

    For Schilling, this stunt and disastrous fallout were emblematic of so much of the LGBT movement. Namely, why are businesses and conglomerates bending over so backward, into literal sin sometimes, for such a small subset of the American population?

    “It’s amazing to me, Jesse, that guys that are billionaires can’t do math,” Schilling explained. “Because what do you think? Let’s say there’s 10,000 trans people in [Los Angeles.] I think [that figure] is probably pushing it.

    “And there’s what, 1.3 billion Catholics in the world? You know, ‘Let’s not offend the offensive group, and let’s make sure that we cater to a crowd of people who literally, after tonight, will never step foot in Dodger Stadium again … and then we can offend 1.3 billion Catholics in the meantime.”

    And that’s really what it comes down to, isn’t it? For businessmen and entrepreneurs who have been so successful in their lives that they can afford a professional sports franchise, why can’t they figure out simple math?

    So you’ve jumped on the rainbow bandwagon and celebrated your tokenized perception of “pride.” Great. Now what?

    As Schilling alluded to, how many drag queens in the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence actually like baseball? How many of those blasphemers could tell you what an RBI is, or whether closing pitchers are overrated? How many of them could even name a current Dodger not named Clayton Kershaw?

    Probably not many. And while that answer is far from proven science, you don’t need to look much further than actual math to figure out how inane these “pride” celebrations are.

    Conversely, a 2019 study from Ohio University found that a meager 14.1 percent of American adults picked baseball as their favorite sport.

    You don’t need to be a rocket surgeon to know that 14 percent of 7 percent is an infinitesimally tiny figure.

    Is it really worth angering swaths of Christians and Catholics (heck, even Muslims and Buddhists would probably recoil in horror at cross-dressing men giving a crucified Jesus Christ a lapdance) for a moment of “pride” that, after June 30, 2023, wouldn’t be tolerated by anyone with a modicum of sanity?

    If you’re the Dodgers, retail titan Target or beleaguered beer Bud Light, the answer is apparently a resounding “yes.”

  7. EXCLUSIVE: Chinese Intel Arm Quietly Operates ‘Service Centers’ In 7 US Cities

    A Chinese intelligence agency quietly operates “service centers” in seven American cities, all of which have had contact with Beijing’s national police authority, according to state media reports and government records reviewed by the Daily Caller News Foundation.

    The Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) United Front Work Department (UFWD) — which at least one U.S. government commission has characterized as a “Chinese intelligence service” — operates so-called “Overseas Chinese Service Centers” (OCSCs) that are housed within various U.S.-based nonprofits. OCSCs were ostensibly set up to promote Chinese culture and assist Chinese citizens living abroad, according to Chinese government records.

    State media reports, Chinese government records and social media posts show that during a 2018 trip to China, U.S.-based OCSC representatives met with Ministry of Public Security (MPS) officials. During the meeting, state security officials demonstrated how they’re leveraging new technology to conduct “cross-border remote justice services” overseas.

    MPS is China’s national police authority and has been referred to as “China’s FBI” by China experts. The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) says MPS also conducts covert “intelligence and national security operations far beyond China’s borders,” including “illicit, transnational repression schemes” on U.S. soil.     In April 2023, the DOJ charged two men for allegedly opening a secret police station in New York on behalf of MPS in order to “monitor and intimidate dissidents” and others critical of China.

    There’s no evidence U.S.-based service centers operate as, or house, secret police stations, and the DOJ has yet to mention these entities in any statements or legal filings. Nonetheless, OCSCs’ association with China’s United Front system and contact with MPS raised red flags for legal and intelligence experts.

    “The national security threat is real,” Will Mackie, a career federal prosecutor and former trial attorney for the counterintelligence section of the DOJ’s National Security Division, told the DCNF.

    “Simply put, we should know which foreign government agents — including ‘unofficial’ actors — are operating in our country for whatever reason,” Mackie said, adding that American nonprofits performing Chinese governmental duties is “inconsistent” with diplomatic protocol, if not “illegal.”

    After an extensive review of Chinese government and state-run media reports, the DCNF identified OCSC branches in San Francisco, California; Houston, Texas; Omaha, Nebraska; St. Paul, Minnesota; Salt Lake City, Utah; St. Louis, Missouri and Charlotte, North Carolina.

    GOP lawmakers expressed serious concern over OCSCs operating within the U.S.

    “These centers aren’t there to help people get a business license or help resolve a domestic dispute,” Utah Republican Rep. Chris Stewart, a member of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, told the DCNF. “They’re here to pressure, to use coercion and to use malicious influence.”

    Tennessee Republican Sen. Marsha Blackburn told the DCNF it was a “direct violation of our nation’s sovereignty” for the CCP to “set up shop on our soil to threaten, surveil and kidnap Chinese American citizens with a dissenting opinion.”

    ‘Eight Great Plans’

    The “service centers” are at the heart of a larger CCP global influence strategy known as “The Eight Great Plans For Benefiting Overseas Chinese,” which was first announced during a 2014 speech by Qiu Yuanping, then the director of the Chinese government’s Overseas Chinese Affairs Office.

    According to Chinese government documents and reports from China experts, the UFWD took control of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office in 2018. The U.S.-China Economic Security and Review Commission describes the UFWD as the CCP organ “responsible for coordinating [foreign and domestic] influence operations” as well as a “Chinese intelligence service.”

    UFWD’s “overseas Chinese work” aims to “co-opt ethnic Chinese individuals and communities living outside China, while a number of other key affiliated organizations guided by China’s broader United Front strategy conduct influence operations targeting foreign actors and states,” according to the commission.

    The Overseas Chinese Affairs Office Director Chen Xu also serves as the UFWD’s deputy director, according to the Chinese government. Qiaowang reported Chen Xu spoke at a conference held in Beijing in May that included OCSC officials from around the world. The conference was jointly sponsored by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office and the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, a key united front group, according to China experts.

    “In the next five years, relying on overseas Chinese organizations that have the public’s trust, we will guide and support the construction of Overseas Chinese Service Centers in cities where overseas Chinese are concentrated and where there’s an urgent need for constructing harmonious overseas Chinese communities,” Qiu Yuanping said in her 2014 speech.

    Shortly thereafter, the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office provided the initial funding to establish OCSC branches around the world and tasked them with a variety of seemingly mundane duties in support of China’s foreign ministry, according to Chinese state-run media and government reports. Duties range from processing Chinese passport and travel permit applications to so-called “consular protection” activities that include emergency, medical and disaster response work, according to reports.

    Despite this directive, a Chinese Embassy spokesperson told the DCNF that the centers are simply formed by “warm-hearted” volunteers and have no “affiliation with any Chinese government agency.”

    Since 2014, OCSCs have expanded to at least 60 locations worldwide, according to multiple reports from Qiaowang, a Chinese news service that acts as a propaganda arm for the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office.

    Qiaowang reports also reveal the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office’s efforts to establish service centers in at least seven U.S. cities.

    In September 2014, the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office held the first of four annual awards ceremonies in Beijing for OCSC branches, according to Qiaowang. During the ceremony, the Chinese American Association of Commerce in San Francisco, California was announced as the first U.S. OCSC branch, Qiaowang reported.

    The Overseas Chinese Affairs Office announced in 2015 the Chinese Civic Center in Houston, Texas, would also house an OCSC, a Chinese state-run media outlet reported. Qiu Yuanping personally attended the grand opening of the Houston OCSC in February 2016, according to the Chinese government.

    NBC broke a fascinating story about Joe Biden and China, according to their sources. This raises all kinds of questions, including about who is in charge at the White House.

    Joe Biden wanted to speak with Chinese President Xi Jinping in the days after the U.S. military shot down a Chinese surveillance balloon off the coast of South Carolina — even saying publicly that he expected to do so — but his top national security advisers talked him out of it, according to two senior administration officials and one former senior U.S. official familiar with the discussions.

    Biden believed his relationship with Xi could help tamp down the newly escalated tensions with Beijing if he had the opportunity to speak directly and smooth things over, the officials said. But the president’s advisers made the case to him that it was not the right time for a leader-to-leader conversation, the officials said. Instead, Biden’s advisers told him, the best course of action was to begin outreach to Beijing with lower or midlevel officials, and work the way up to the top, according to the officials.

    The research was conducted with a large sample size within the US healthcare system.

    Participants in the trial were all Cleveland Clinic Health System employees working at any Cleveland Clinic facility in Ohio on September 12, 2022, the first day the bivalent vaccine was first made accessible to staff and lasted over 180 days.

    “SK bioscience, a global innovative vaccine and biotech company committed to promoting human health from prevention to cure, has announced today the UK’s Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) has granted Marketing Authorization (MA) for SK bioscience’s COVID-19 vaccine SKYCovion™ (brand name in Korea: SKYCovione™) as a primary series for strong immunization to prevent COVID-19 caused by SARS-CoV-2 in individuals 18 years of age and older,” according to the news release.

    Once a vaccine receives Marketing Authorization, it can be marketed and distributed to the public.

    It becomes the 8th COVID-19 vaccine authorized by the UK’s independent medicines regulator.

    Senate Democrats Tammy Baldwin and Patty Murray have introduced a bill to spend $25 million training new abortionists.
    The bill, called “The Reproductive Health Care Training Act,” was introduced on Thursday and would “provide for the establishment of an education program to expand abortion care training and access.”

    “When Roe v. Wade was overturned, women in Wisconsin were sent back to 1849, living under a criminal abortion ban. But the impact didn’t stop there. Doctors have been barred from providing the care they have been trained to perform and medical students and faculty are being forced to travel out of state for training.     An Arizona man died on Friday following an unprovoked black bear attack.

    Steven Jackson, 66, was attacked by the bear as he sat drinking his morning coffee in a wooded area of Groom Creek in Yavapai County, where he was building a cabin, the county sheriff’s office said.

    There was a struggle before the bear dragged Jackson 75 feet down an embankment while he screamed for help.

    Neighbors swiftly arrived on the scene: ‘They tried to get the bear to stop attacking him, there was honking horns, different things they were doing,’ Rhodes said.

    ‘There was no success in stopping the attack.’

    A neighbor then arrived with a rifle and shot the animal to stop the attack, but Jackson was already dead.

    ‘Our sincere sympathies go out to Mr. Jackson’s family’ Sheriff David Rhodes said in a statement.

    ‘I cannot express how deeply sad this situation is and can only say our prayers are with you.’

    The sheriff’s office were called at around 7:50am, and arrived on the scene shortly afterwards with animal control officers.

    The sheriff’s office believe the attack was unprovoked and that there was no food or anything else obvious that would have attracted a bear.

    ‘At first glance, there did not appear to be anything on the site that would have precipitated a[n] attack by the bear, such as food, a cooking site or access to water,’ the sheriff’s office said.

    Darren Tucker, a field supervisor for the Arizona Game and Fish Department said the bear is estimated to be 6 to 10 years old.

    The investigation into the killing is ongoing, and a necropsy of the bear will also be conducted.

    Tucker emphasized that although bear sightings in the Prescott area are common, attacks are rare.

    The last fatal attack in the state, where there is a healthy population of black bears, was in 2011.

    The sheriff’s office also reminded the public that they cannot shoot bears unless the bear is a threat to themselves or someone else.

    ‘These are exceedingly rare circumstances and we haven’t seen this before,’ he said.

    ‘We don’t want people to freak out, shoot bears, shoot animals.’

    Five people were killed and at least 42 were injured in multiple shootings as violence erupted across the country over the holiday weekend.

    A shooting at a Juneteenth celebration in a suburban Illinois town left one person dead after at least 20 people were shot outside a shopping center overnight.

    It happened around 12:30 a.m. on Route 83 near Honeysuckle Lane in Willowbrook, Illinois, Battalion Chief Joe Ostrander with the Tri-State Fire Protection District told WLS.

    Witnesses said the massive crowd of more than 300 people had gathered for a Juneteenth celebration that turned violent.

    In an update later on Sunday morning, the DuPage County Sheriff’s Office said at least 20 people had been shot, one fatally. At least one person is in critical condition, while the others suffered ‘graze wounds

    During her latest appearance on The Sunday Show Plaskett stated, “Having Trump not only having the codes but now having the classified information for Americans and being able to put that out and share it in his resort with anyone and everything who comes through should be terrifying to all Americans.”

    Plaskett then continued, “He needs to be (shot) — Stopped.”

    The video was originally shared by RNC deputy director Jake Schneider but has since been picked up by several other accounts.
