Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

  7. NHS body made 72 payments and approved further 24 claims for disablement from jabs

    The UK government is set to pay out over £11.5 million in Covid-19 vaccine damages to nearly 100 claimants, according to official data released by the NHS Business Services Authority.

    A freedom of information request from Research Professional News revealed that, as of May, 72 people have received a payment from the government for being severely disabled by a Covid-19 vaccine, or on behalf of someone who died from the vaccine.

    In total, 96 people have been told that they are entitled to receive money via the UK’s Vaccine Damage Payment Scheme, run by the NHS authority, which means 24 are still waiting on the cash.

    Having lost control of the U.S. House of Representatives in the 2022 midterm elections, Democrats are pulling out all the stops in their quest to regain power.

    Politico reported that changes to the composition of courts in New York and Wisconsin have Democrats thinking about “redistricting redos” in those two states.

    “It’s absolutely corrupt and pathetic,” Republican Rep. Nicole Malliotakis of New York said. “They may have changed the makeup of a court in order to affect an outcome. I hope that’s not the case.”

    Republican Rep. Glenn Grothman of Wisconsin agreed: “I think it would be odd to change the maps in Wisconsin or anywhere every time you have a new state supreme court, right?” Grothman called the Democrats’ move in his state “a really weird precedent in which you could have five different maps in a 10-year period, depending upon who won or lost a state Supreme Court race.”

    The Politico report offered a realistic assessment of the relationship between Democrats’ words and their actual motives: “Democrats often employ high-minded rhetoric about democracy in these cases, but they are keenly aware that even a small advantage could determine who controls the chamber in 2025.”

    At issue in both states is the Democrats’ insistence on using the courts to overturn the results of the most recent redistricting processes.

    Democratic Rep. Marc Pocan of Wisconsin said that appealing to the courts is “the only way you can dig out of a gerrymandered state.”

    When it comes to gerrymandering, neither party has a pristine record.

    The idea of using the courts to re-draw districts before another U.S. census has occurred should strike us as appalling for several reasons.

    First, it is a brazen power grab wrapped in the Democrats’ usual platitudes about democracy.

    Second, and more important, it is an affront to self-government. The entire redistricting process reflects poorly on our elected representatives.

    New York offers an instructive example. Channeling the old-time progressive spirit of “government by experts,” New York state uses an Independent Redistricting Commission to draw its electoral maps.

    In a state that once made Boss Tweed’s Tammany Hall famous, perhaps it is understandable that constitution-makers did not trust state legislators to determine the political playing field without succumbing to corruption.

    The consequence, however, is that the people’s representatives abdicate their responsibilities to the courts.

    In the most recent redistricting cycle, for instance, neither the legislature nor the commission could produce an acceptable map. The state’s highest court stepped in and appointed a special master.

    While a certain amount of self-interested shenanigans are bound to accompany nearly all human endeavors, an appeal to the courts in a case such as this amounts to shameless disregard for the principles of constitutional self-government.

    Meanwhile, we can look forward to the Democrats prattling on about democracy.

  9. IRS Agent Uses Fake Name to Enter Taxpayer’s Home – Then Threatens Her to Pay Up to Regime

    Jim Jordan and the Weaponization Subcommittee released new information on Friday night.

    The House Judiciary Committee and its Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government are conducting oversight of federal agencies’ commitment to protecting civil liberties.

    In the subcommittee’s latest report released Friday they discovered that the IRS is using fake names to enter taxpayers’ homes and harass homeowners.

    And in this Ohio case, the IRS agent threatened police when he got caught.

    Here’s the unbelievable story of government abuse from The Weaponization Subcommittee:

    We have recently received allegations that an Internal Revenue Service agent provided a false name to an Ohio taxpayer as part of a deception to gain entry into the taxpayer’s home to confront her about delinquent tax filings. When the taxpayer rightfully objected to the agent’s tactics, the IRS agent insisted that he “can … go into anyone’s house at any time” as an IRS agent. These allegations raise serious concerns about the IRS’s commitment to fundamental civil liberties.

    On March 27, 2023, the Committee previously wrote to you and Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen about an IRS agent visiting unannounced and unprompted the home of journalist Matt Taibbi. Incredibly, at the time of the visit, Mr. Taibbi was testifying before the Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government about how the federal government pressured, coerced, and even directed technology companies to take certain actions related to digital content. The Committee is continuing to investigate the IRS’s reasons for visiting Mr. Taibbi’s home and whether the visit was conducted in an attempt to intimidate a witness before Congress.

    Since then, the Committee has learned of another instance in which an IRS agent performed an unannounced field visit to a taxpayer. The details of this field visit are bizarre. On April 25, 2023, an IRS agent who identified himself as “Bill Haus” with the IRS’s Criminal Division visited the home of a taxpayer in Marion, Ohio. Agent “Haus” informed the taxpayer he was at her home to discuss issues concerning an estate for which the taxpayer was the fiduciary. After Agent “Haus” shared details about the estate only the IRS would know, the taxpayer let him in. Agent “Haus” told the taxpayer that she did not properly complete the filings for the estate and that she owed the IRS “a substantial amount.” Prior to the visit, however, the taxpayer had not received any notice from the IRS of an outstanding balance on the estate.

    During the visit, the taxpayer told Agent “Haus” that the estate was resolved in January 2023, and provided him with proof that she had paid all taxes for the decedent’s estate. At this point, Agent “Haus” revealed that the true purpose of his visit was not due to any issue with the decedent’s estate, but rather because the decedent allegedly had several delinquent tax return filings. Agent “Haus” provided several documents to the taxpayer for her to fill out, which included sensitive information about the decedent.

    The taxpayer called her attorney who immediately and repeatedly asked Agent “Haus” to leave the taxpayer’s home. Agent “Haus” responded aggressively, insisting: *I am an IRS agent, I can be at and go into anyone’s house at any time I want to be.” Before finally leaving the taxpayer’s property, Agent “Haus” said he would mail paperwork to the taxpayer, and threatened that she had one week to satisfy the remaining balance or he would freeze all her assets and put a lien on her house.

    Following the visit, the taxpayer contacted the Marion, Ohio Police Department (MPD) to determine whether the visit was part of a scam. The MPD ran the license plate of the car that Agent “Haus” drove, and learned Agent “Haus” had used an alias. The officer called Agent “Haus” to verify his identity, and the agent who identified himself as an IRS agent admitted to using an alias. Believing Agent “Haus” was trying to scam the taxpayer, the MPD advised him not to go the taxpayer’s home again or he would be arrested. Agent “Haus” then filed a complaint against the officer with the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA). The MPD later learned Agent “Haus” was a legitimate IRS agent after contacting TIGTA to respond to his complaint.

    On May 4, 2023, the taxpayer spoke with the supervisor of Agent “Haus,” who clarified nothing was owed on the estate. The supervisor even admitted to the taxpayer that “things never should have gotten this far.” On May 5, 2023, however, the taxpayer received a letter from the IRS- the first and only written notice the taxpayer received of the decedent’s delinquent tax filings addressed to the decedent, which stated the decedent was delinquent on several 1040 filings. On May 15, 2023, the taxpayer spoke again with supervisor of Agent “Haus,” who told the taxpayer to disregard the May 5 letter because nothing was due. On May 30, 2023, the taxpayer received a letter from the IRS that the case had been closed.

    This behavior from an IRS agent to an American taxpayer providing an alias, using deception to secure entry into the taxpayer’s home, and then filing an Inspector General complaint against a police officer examining that matter is highly concerning. As the Committee continues to examine how to best protect Americans’ fundamental freedoms and to assist the Committee in its oversight, we ask that you please provide the following documents and information:

    1. All documents and communications referring or relating to the IRS’s field visit to the residence of taxpayer [retracted] on April 25, 2023, located at [retracted], including but not limited to the IRS’s reasons for conducting the field visit and prior efforts to contact taxpayer [retracted];

    2. All documents and communications between or among the IRS, Treasury
    Department, and any other Executive Branch entity referring or relating to the IRS’s field visit to [retracted] residence, [retracted] role as executor of the estate of decedent
    estate, or outstanding balances or taxes owed by decedent [retracted];

    3. All documents and communications sent or received by Agent [retracted] referring or relating to the taxpayer [retracted], Officer [retracted] of MPD, the decedent [retracted], or, [retracted] estate.

    Please produce all documents and information as soon as possible but no later than 5:00 p.m. on June 30, 2023. In addition, please treat these discovery obligations as ongoing and applicable to any information generated after receipt of this letter.

    Pursuant to the Rules of the House of Representatives, the Committee on the Judiciary has jurisdiction to conduct oversight of matters concerning “civil liberties” to inform potential legislative reforms. In addition, H. Res. 12 authorized the Committee’s Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government to investigate “issues related to the violation of the civil liberties of citizens of the United States.”

    This is only the beginning.

  12. Over 50 Letters Containing ‘Suspicious’ White Powder Sent to Kansas State Officials

    According to the Kansas Bureau of Investigation, over 50 letters containing a “suspicious” white powder were sent to Kansas state officials.
    The Kansas Bureau of Investigation announced an investigation in a post on Facebook on Friday night.

    “Today, KBI agents working alongside the FBI, KDHE, OSFM, Kansas National Guard, KHP, and several local police departments, sheriff’s offices, and fire departments have responded after mail was received by legislators and other public officials containing a suspicious white powder,” the agency wrote.

    The letters are being collected by law enforcement and hazmat teams.

    “As of 4 p.m. Friday afternoon, over 30 letters containing the suspicious powder have been reported across the state. Law enforcement and hazmat teams are working to safely collect the letters and investigate the incidents.”

    The KBI updated the post on Friday evening to say that 20 additional letters have been reported.

    “Currently, no injuries have been reported, but we ask everyone to remain vigilant in handling mail,” the post concluded. “Any similar incidents should be immediately reported to the KBI at 1-800-KSCRIME.”

    According to a report from The Hill, “Tom Day, the director of Legislative Administrative Services, told legislators that the letters had a return address of either Topeka or Kansas City, according to emails obtained by The Topeka Capital-Journal. He said the letters were given to the KBI and FBI.”

    “A spokesperson for state Attorney General Kris Kobach (R) told the outlet that his office received a letter, while a spokesperson for state House Speaker Dan Hawkins (R) said his office did not receive a letter, but multiple members of his caucus did,” the report added.

    Democrat Kansas Gov. Laura Kelly’s office had not received a letter at time of publishing.

    • I watched off and on the ‘trial’ of Trozzi over the last week. Lemme tells ya. It was a farce. The College on Friday attempted to discredit a potential witness, in essense because she did not agree with the College’s position on the vaccines as safe and effective, and therefore, could not be an expert and so should not be allowed to submit expert evidence.

      Put another way:

      This napkin is God. I know this is true because it says so right here on this napkin

      A classic begs the question logical fallacy, or as some call it, a tautology.

      Trozzi’s lawyer was limited in how he could ask questions of his own witness to nearly the exact phrasing of the College’s lawyer, which were all defamatory. There was no latitude given for him to get the information he needed to let his own expert state facts which would establish his expertise.

      I gotta say. The Soviets were a lot more honest in the way they conducted political trials. It was obvious to all that there was no intent to determine the truth but to establish power.

      The College Tribunal is the same, but there is a veneer of proper procedure which makes it slightly harder to reason through to the scam it is.

      The one thing that was clear in all this, is that the real crime was calling the authority of these she/her he/him /she/her bureaucrats into question. THAT will not be tolerated.

      • I cannot help but wonder what the next man made disease will be. I have never been on Facebook, Twitter etc but I have many family and friends who live there. They keep telling me, people they speak with say they will never be locked down again. I wish I could believe them.

        Statistics show 30% of the population is brainwashed. Many young people do not believe in God —how do they function in turmoil? They live in constant fear — of what the government spews, they believe the MSM.

        This past week I have had several people tell me about how Canada is burning – – was that not a headline.

        Health Canada is spewing the same garbage the College of Physicians and Surgeons are. Make lists of these people’s names. Familiarize yourself with what a Notice of Liability is. Stand up to the tyrants, their day is coming, and I for one will show no mercy.

    A massive 82 percent majority of Republicans want President Donald Trump to stay in the presidential race despite the sham indictment.
    The NPR-PBS NewsHour-Marist College poll released on Friday found that conservatives stand firmly behind the former president and current Republican frontrunner for 2024.

    “In light of former President Donald Trump’s indictment by a Florida grand jury, Trump’s GOP base remains steadfast in its support for the former president,” the pollsters reported. “Most Republicans believe Trump should remain in the race, and his favorability among Republicans and Republican-leaning independents remains strong.”

    Naturally, Democrats want Trump to drop out.

    The pollsters found “opinions divide along party lines with most Democrats (87%) and nearly six in ten independents (58%) saying Trump should end his campaign. Most Republicans though (83%) think Trump should stay in the race.”

    A pregnant woman was shot and killed in her car at a Seattle intersection on Tuesday.

    Eina Kwon, 34, a mother of a 2-year-old child, was senselessly murdered while sitting in her car with her husband.

    Her unborn child died following the shooting.

    According to reports, the suspect, 30-year-old Cordell Maurice Goosby, ran up to the driver’s side of the vehicle and fired several shots before running away.

    Conservatives Are Looking For Ways To Boycott and Move Spending Away From Woke Corporations — Here Is One Way To Do It

    Eina Kwon was struck several times and her husband, Sung-hyun Kwon, was shot in the arm.

    Kwon was rushed to a nearby hospital so her baby could be delivered by emergency C-section but it was too late.

    The young mother and her unborn baby died.

    Her husband survived.

    Goosby told police he thought he saw a gun in the car and acted in self-defense when he fired on the couple, however, video revealed he was lying.

    “No amount of justice will bring that family home again,” Seattle Police Chief Adrian Diaz said on Thursday. “We know that this has great impacts to the community, not only the greater community, but the Korean community. I have been in conversations and communications with members throughout the community to try and ensure that we are doing everything we can to make this community safe.”

    NBC News reported:

    Eina Kwon, a restaurant owner who was fatally shot at a Seattle intersection on Tuesday, is being remembered by friends and loved ones for her kindness.

    Kwon, whose unborn child also died following the incident, was described by those who worked near her sushi restaurant, Aburiya Bento House, as an “incredible human being.” She was also the mother of a 2-year-old child.

    Video that was recovered from a nearby building showed that Kwon, 34, and her husband Sung-hyun Kwon, 37, were stopped at the intersection when a suspect ran up to the driver’s side of the vehicle before firing and running away, according to court documents. Both victims were sent to Harborview Medical Center, where Eina was sent into emergency surgery so her baby could be delivered. Both Eina, who suffered multiple gunshot wounds, and the baby died at the hospital. Sung-Hyun, who was shot in the arm, survived his injuries.

    Officers arrested one suspect, 30-year-old Cordell Maurice Goosby, a short distance away from the scene and recovered a firearm. Goosby told authorities that he thought he saw a gun in the car and reacted by firing his handgun into the vehicle, court documents show. But additional video revealed that there was “no interaction between the victims and the suspect in the preceding block, prior to the incident.” The documents also show that Goosby did appear to detectives to be “in some level of crisis whether genuine or performed.”

    An Obama-appointed U.S. District judge has ruled that a Utah city must allow an all-ages drag show in a public park on June 30.
    A lawsuit filed by Southern Utah Drag Stars, Mitski Aval?x, and the American Civil Liberties Union accused St. George city leaders of discrimination for rejecting an application for the drag show in a city-owned park.

    “The City denied Plaintiffs’ application and took other discriminatory actions to prevent the drag performance from taking place based on the City’s objection to the viewpoint and content of Plaintiffs’ performance, including the gender nonconforming expression it involves,” the lawsuit said.

    District Judge David Nuffer opened his 60-page ruling by asserting, “Public spaces are public spaces. Public spaces are not private spaces. Public spaces are not majority spaces. The First Amendment of the United States Constitution ensures that all citizens, popular or not, majority or minority, conventional or unconventional, have access to public spaces for public expression.”

    The city had used a rule against promoting an event before a permit was granted to deny the application. The judge wrote that the use of this rule “was a pretext for discrimination.”

    “The City is ORDERED to reverse its decision denying the Permit and is ORDERED to issue a permit allowing the Allies Drag Show to be held June 30, 2023,” the ruling stated. “The City is also prevented from enforcing the advertising prohibition generally and the moratorium as to Plaintiffs current application.”

    The judge ordered the city to allow the event to occur at “either JC Snow Park or the Sun Bowl” and added, “Plaintiffs’ event shall take scheduling precedence over any other event.”

    Fox 13 noted that this is not the first time the city has been targeted by drag queens looking to push the boundaries.

    “This is not the first time St. George has faced controversy over drag shows,” the report stated. “The HBO documentary series ‘We’re Here’ staged one in a park to the objection of some city leaders. It led to the resignation of the city manager, who refused to cancel the permit because he feared a First Amendment lawsuit. The City of St. George ended up receiving a payout in an agreement to leave.”

    “In response to the controversy, a St. George area lawmaker also introduced a bill in the Utah State Legislature earlier this year requiring shows on public property with ‘adult themes’ to post notices warning people,” the report continued. “The bill failed to advance but is slated to be discussed over the next year in the legislature’s interim sessions.”

    FTX owner Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF) was the second biggest donor to Democrats in the 2022 midterms.

    In early January Sam Bankman-Fried pleaded not guilty to all 8 counts related to the collapse of his crypto Ponzi scheme. SBF pleaded not guilty in New York federal court Tuesday to eight charges related to the collapse of his former crypto exchange FTX and hedge fund Alameda Research.

    SBF was indicted on eight counts, including charges of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and securities fraud, individual charges of securities fraud and wire fraud, money laundering and conspiracy to avoid campaign finance regulations.

    Migrant smuggling “influencers” advertising their services have tens of thousands of followers on YouTube and TikTok, a new report has revealed.
    According to a report from the New York Post, “the cartel-linked human smugglers, known as coyotes in Spanish, post high-quality promo videos showing them escorting migrants across rivers and customers smiling inside secret ‘stash houses’ once purportedly over the border.”

    Soy Xulen, whose YouTube handle is @ELINMIGRANTEAVENTURERO, which translates to “the migrant adventurer,” told a reporter from the Post that he charges 180,000 Mexican pesos (around $10,500) to help someone illegally cross the border.

    Xulen’s YouTube channel has nearly 13 million views and claims to be “documenting the migrant experience.”
