OT: Johnny yesterday we were talking abt tech innovation in the war. Earlier a friend called and suggested I watch the drone races on NBC. I wasn’t interested enough to watch for long but the speed and control would make one armed with a low recoil weapon (.22 caliber or smaller) would make a small high speed quad rotor drone a nasty assassination weapon. The documents contain information on Ukrainian losses in the war and an alleged upcoming assault by Ukraine and its allies into Russian controlled eastern Ukraine.
The Western mainstream media called the leaks a “suspected Russian plot.”
The first documents appeared on 4Chan and Discord.
The Daily Mail reported:
A second batch of classified documents detailing the United States’ analyses of global hotspots has been leaked online in a suspected Russian plot.
More than 100 documents are feared to have been obtained in what a senior intelligence called ‘a nightmare for the Five Eyes,’ – a reference to the intelligence sharing agreement between the United States, Britain, Australia, New Zealand and Canada.
The documents cover the war in Ukraine, China, terrorism and the Middle East.

The Pentagon confirmed the leak, but said that some of the documents – as with the earlier reported leak – had been doctored to downplay the strength of U.S. allies.
The first tranche of documents appeared to have been posted in early March on the social media platform Discord, according to Aric Toler, an analyst at Bellingcat, the Dutch investigative site.
Friday’s documents were published on the controversial message board 4Chan, and subsequently spread on Twitter.
Russia Today reported on the leaked documents.
The state-run media outlet says the “secret plan” does not add up.
Which information is most suspect?
The probable locations of Russian units, indicated on the combat map in red, appear to have been collected from open sources. Several pro-Kiev resources that track military operations contain almost identical information.
Also, the ratios of killed and wounded for the Ukrainian and Russian Armed Forces which initially appeared in these ‘secret plans’ have since been changed. When first posted, the losses for the Ukrainian side were underestimated at about 16,500 –17,000 people. Then (probably to be more realistic), they increased almost fivefold, up to 65,000 – 75,000. At the same time, the numbers given for Russia’s purported losses of vehicles and equipment coincide with data published by Kiev’s Ministry of Defense.
What else is wrong with the published AFU offensive plans?
The blatant falsification of data on the readiness of Ukrainian military formations catches the eye. The document states that, of the nine supposedly to be trained up to US and NATO standards by March 31 and April 30, five of Kiev’s brigades have had zero training: these are the 82nd Airborne, the 32nd, 117th, and 118th Territorial Defense, as well as the 21st separate mechanized.
Even if only two or three companies in these brigades were trained, and self-preparation wasn’t completed, their level of training couldn’t be zero. At the same time, the highest percentage of readiness was recorded only in the 47th mechanized(40%) and the 46th airborne assault (60%).

Rep. Alexandria-Ocasio Cortez (AOC) threatened Republicans yesterday following the expulsion of two radical Tennessee House Democrats after they helped lead an insurrection last week inside the State Capitol.
The Gateway Pundit previously reported Rep. Justin Jones and Rep. Justin Pearson were booted from the Tennessee State legislature for helping lead an insurrection inside the Tennessee State Capitol. This was the first time in the state’s history that a partisan expulsion happened.
Unfortunately, Rep. Johnson survived being expelled by one vote.

Six people were shot on the Isle of Palms in South Carolina on Friday afternoon.
According to Isle of Palms Police, 6 people were taken to a hospital after a shooting behind Sea Cabins near 1140 Oceans Blvd.
The shooting happened at a gathering involving high school seniors for “senior skip day” – WCSC reported.
Several suspects are in custody, however it is unclear if the gunman is in custody.
Most of the victims are teens.
At least 1 adult who was not a part of the groups fighting was injured, police said.

The Tennessee State House voted Thursday on whether to expel the three Democrat lawmakers for participating in an insurrection last week.
The three lawmakers who participated were Representatives Gloria Johnson, Justin Jones, and Justin Pearson. The House voted on Thursday to remove Rep. Pearson and Rep. Justin Jones.
The three Democrats stood in the assembly with bullhorns leading a protest with screaming high schoolers in the rafters. The radical Democrats shut down the assembly for an hour during their tirade. Democrats believe this is honorable. Republicans in Tennessee saw it for what it was and voted two of the three radical Commies out of the Senate.
Following the vote on Thursday night, Barack Obama jumped into the fray and lied to the American public about the incident. This was quite a whopper even for Obama.
Obama insisted that screaming and shutting down government body with bullhorns is an example of “silencing those who disagree with us.” Barack claims not letting an angry leftist mob shut down the Tennessee assembly shows “warkness and not strength.”
That’s when General Mike Flynn jumped in.

71 Chinese Military Aircraft Cross Taiwan Strait Median Line To Kick Off 3-Day ‘Encirclement Drills’

China has begun three days of military drills around Taiwan and in the Taiwan Strait as its direct response to Taiwanese President Tsai Ing-wen’s meeting with US House Speaker Kevin McCarthy in California held days ago.
Parts of the drills are expected to extend up to 12 days. WSJ notes that this is what greeted the return of Tsai to her home: “Hours after President Tsai Ing-wen returned to Taiwan on Friday night, Chinese maritime safety authorities said the country’s navy planned to conduct seven live-fire exercises over the course of 12 days off the coast of Fujian province, which faces Taiwan, starting Saturday morning.”
While the Wednesday meeting with McCarthy was presented by the allies as a show of democratic solidarity, Beijing had warned of “resolute measures” while deploying an aircraft carrier strike group off the self-ruled island’s coast.
Early Saturday, China launched live-fire “combat readiness patrols” until April 10, according to a statement from the People’s Liberation Army’s (PLA) Eastern Theatre Command. The drills are called United Sharp Sword and expand in scope from the north to south of the island, utilizing air and sea, particularly airspace to Taiwan’s east, the statement indicated.
The drills have already involved on Saturday a whopping 71 Chinese military aircraft crossing the sensitive median line of the Taiwan Strait, Reuters confirms.
“This is a serious warning to the Taiwan independence separatist forces and external forces’ collusion and provocation, and it is a necessary action to defend national sovereignty and territorial integrity,” the PLA said.

Biden proposal would bar schools from enacting outright bans on trans athletes

WASHINGTON (AP) — Schools and colleges across the U.S. would be forbidden from enacting outright bans on transgender athletes under a proposal released Thursday by the Biden administration, but teams could create some limits in certain cases — for example, to ensure fairness.
The proposed rule sends a political counterpunch toward a wave of Republican-led states that have sought to ban trans athletes from competing in school sports that align with their gender identities. If finalized, the proposal would become enshrined as a provision of Title IX, the landmark gender-equity legislation enacted in 1972.
It must undergo a lengthy approval process, however, and it’s almost certain to face challenges. While opponents sharply criticized the proposal, some advocates for transgender athletes were concerned that it did not go far enough.
The proposal comes on the same day that the Supreme Court said a 12-year-old transgender girl in West Virginia can continue competing on her middle school track and cross-country teams while legal battles over the state’s transgender law continue. The law bans transgender athletes from female teams.

This article shows the contact between the Soros family and the Biden family. (I am using family in both the genetic family and the crime family sense.) While Jill and his other handlers could have fed Creepy Joe meth to make him coherent it is unlikely that he is the person that Alec was delivering the orders too. What I find interesting is that the orders weren’t passed through Obama and his family. Has Obama been changing the orders that he passes on? Former NCAA Division 1 swimmer Riley Gaines was barricaded in a room at San Francisco State University for nearly three hours as protesters “ambushed” her following a speaking event on campus.
Now, her agent, Eli Bremer, is calling for the university to take a stand. Riley Gaines shared a video to social media Thursday night showing a large group of people surrounding her after she delivered a speech on campus about women’s sports. In her tweet, Gaines said she had been “ambushed and physically hit.” She is seen in the footage being escorted out by police.
Several videos posted to social media appeared to show the crowd shouting expletives at Gaines, while also chanting, “Trans rights are human rights,” and “Trans women are women.”
In an exclusive statement to Fox News Digital on Friday, Bremer called for the university to expel “any students who were violent,” and fire any staff member “who did not attempt to end the assault.”
“Riley Gaines, the leading defender of women’s rights in America, was physically assaulted last night at San Francisco State University (SFSU). The violent mob effectively held her hostage for three hours with no apparent action by the university to end the assault,” Bremer said.

APRIL 03 2023 – MPs vote to order release of Canada’s COVID vaccine contracts despite Pfizer’s objections
Pfizer executives had warned MPs that disclosure of the contracts could damage Canada’s ‘reputation.’
OTTAWA (LifeSiteNews) –– Despite executives pleading otherwise, Canadian MPs in the House of Commons public accounts committee have voted to mandate the Department of Public Works hand over the country’s clandestine COVID-19 vaccine contracts with Pfizer for investigation.
On March 23, as noted by Blacklock’s Reporter, executives from Pfizer, while testifying before the committee, made a veiled threat that Canada might lose its “reputation” and lose foreign investments should the details of the $5 billion COVID jab contracts some to light.
Bloc Québécois MP Nathalie Sinclair-Desgagné said that “Confidential information would remain confidential,” however Pfizer executives shot back claiming that any disclosure at all would constitute an abuse of power.
Canada’s Department of Health signed multiple COVID vaccine contracts in 2021 and 2022 with seven different manufacturers. Those seven included AstraZeneca, Johnson & Johnson, Medicago, Moderna, Novavax, Pfizer, and Sanofi.
After a back and forth with executives, MPs voted that Canada’s public works department must hand over all the contracts for scrutiny.
The contracts would only be allowed to be viewed by the 11 members of the public accounts committee, behind closed doors with no access to electronic devices or even written notes.
Despite these embargo conditions, Pfizer executives claimed that certain secret items in the contracts should never be seen by any MP.
“Disclosure of our confidential agreement would be an extraordinary use of authority,” said the president of Pfizer Canada Najah Sampson.
Sampson claimed that allowing MPs to view the contracts would set a “precedent with unintended consequences on Canada’s reputation,” and that “It would send a strong message to business partners and to companies looking to invest that here in Canada confidentiality protections negotiated in good faith with the federal government may not be binding.”
According to Canadian health department records, some 238 million doses of the COVID shots were ordered from Pfizer Canada. This number includes some 30 million jabs yet to be delivered in 2023 and 2024.
The total cost for each jab has not been made public and there are still no details regarding the specifics of the contracts, even though it is known that $1 billion worth of COVID?vaccines have expired.
When looking at cost-per-jab rates from other countries, prices range from $14.50 per shot in the European Union, to $19.50 in the United States.
What is known is that a December 6, 2022, Auditor General report shows Canada’s COVID jab cost per unit to be somewhere around $30 per dose.
Sampson’s remarks claiming that MPs seeing the contracts would not be a good thing were immediately dismissed by Conservative Party of Canada (CPC) MPs.
CPC MP Garnett Genuis, who is pro-life, shot back at the Pfizer executives, saying, MPs have a “right” to know what’s in the contracts, and that their trying to block the information from being revealed is “outrageous.”
“It’s not a question of us engaging in some kind of negotiation, like we’re going to ask really politely and we’re going to let you eat some cookies at the back and then maybe you’ll give us a little more information in the documents,” said Genuis.
“We have a right to access this information.”
Genuis continued by saying the “situation is outrageous,” adding that “It makes me wonder, what is so damaging to you or the government that allowing Members of Parliament to privately review them would be such a concern?”
CPC MP Kelly McCauley also blasted the withholding of information as troubling.
“There are implied threats to investment in Canada if 11 MPs in a private room have access,” said McCauley.
“… And yet where they have leaked whole contracts you haven’t divested. It seems like an odd, implied threat if 11 MPs were to look at it,” he added.
This is not the first time Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s government has come under fire regarding its relationship with Big Pharma.
In February, LifeSiteNews reported that Trudeau ordered members of his cabinet to swear an oath of secrecy as a condition to be allowed to view the jab contracts.

The former president predicted that the outcome of the Ukrainian conflict would shape the new world power balance and that “if Ukraine wins, which is something I wholeheartedly want, then it would serve as a rebuff to authoritarian regimes” such as China, Iran and Turkey.
Hollande insisted that there could be no negotiations at the moment and that European leaders should avoid even mentioning the idea until Ukraine pushes Russian forces out of the territories Kiev claims as its own and so long as the Ukrainian people still wish to fight to the last.
He also commented on the Minsk accords, which were signed in 2014 by Russia, France and Germany as a roadmap to establishing peace in Ukraine after tensions erupted in the country following the armed Maidan coup that ousted President Viktor Yanukovich. Hollande admitted that the real purpose of the accords was to buy time to arm and train Ukraine’s forces.
The former French leader also noted Poroshenko’s “key role” in ousting Yanukovich and pushing Ukraine towards the EU. He said that, if Poroshenko hadn’t come to Paris in 2013, there “wouldn’t have been a Maidan and you wouldn’t have achieved your victory.”
Hollande is the latest Western official to have been duped by the Russian pranksters, admitting things they avoid saying publicly. Last month, the pair had a conversation with former UK foreign secretary William Hague, who stated that the West’s “ideal” scenario was a military coup in Russia that would oust Putin.

WASHINGTON — A trove of leaked Pentagon documents reveals how deeply Russia’s security and intelligence services have been penetrated by the United States, demonstrating Washington’s ability to warn Ukraine about planned strikes and providing an assessment of the strength of Moscow’s war machine.
The documents paint a portrait of a depleted Russian military that is struggling in its war in Ukraine and of a military apparatus that is deeply compromised. They contain daily real-time warnings to American intelligence agencies on the timing of Moscow’s strikes and even its specific targets. Such intelligence has allowed the United States to pass on to Ukraine crucial information on how to defend itself.
The documents lay bare the American assessment of a Ukrainian military that is also in dire straits. The documents, from late February and early March but found on social media sites in recent days, outline critical shortages of air defense munitions and discuss the gains being made by Russian troops around the eastern city of Bakhmut. The intelligence reports show that the United States also appears to be spying on Ukraine’s top military and political leaders, a reflection of Washington’s struggle to get a clear view of Ukraine’s fighting strategies.
The material reinforces an idea that intelligence officials have long acknowledged: The United States has a clearer understanding of Russian military operations than it does of Ukrainian planning. Intelligence collection is often difficult and sometimes wrong, but the trove of documents offers perhaps the most complete picture yet of the inner workings of the largest land war in Europe in decades.
American officials said while the documents offer hints about U.S. methods to collect information on Russian plans, U.S. intelligence agencies do not yet know if any of their sources of information will be cut off as a result of the leak. American officials have conceded they have lost some sources of information since the war began, but the new documents appear to show that America’s understanding of Russian planning remains extensive.
But the leak has the potential to do real damage to Ukraine’s war effort by exposing which Russian agencies the United States knows the most about, giving Moscow a potential opportunity to cut off the sources of information.
The leak has already complicated relations with allied countries and raised doubts about America’s ability to keep its secrets. After reviewing the documents, a senior Western intelligence official said the release of the material was painful and suggested that it could curb intelligence sharing. For various agencies to provide material to each other, the official said, requires trust 🙂 🙂 🙂 and assurances that certain sensitive information will be kept secret.
The documents could also hurt diplomatic ties in other ways. The newly revealed intelligence documents also make plain that the U.S. is not just spying on Russia, but also its allies. While that will hardly surprise officials, making such eavesdropping public always hampers relations with key partners, like South Korea, whose help is needed to supply Ukraine with weaponry.
Senior U.S. officials said an inquiry, launched Friday by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, would try to move swiftly to determine the source of the leak. The officials acknowledged that the documents appear to be legitimate intelligence and operational briefs compiled by the Pentagon’s Joint Staff, using reports from the government’s intelligence community, but that at least one had been modified from the original at some later point.
One senior U.S. official called the leak “a massive intelligence breach,” made worse because it lays out to Russia just how deep American intelligence operatives have managed to get into the Russian military apparatus. Officials within the U.S. government with security clearance often receive such documents through daily emails, one official said, and those emails might then be automatically forwarded to other people.
Another senior U.S. official said tracking down the original source of the leak could be difficult because hundreds, if not thousands, of military and other U.S. government officials have the security clearances needed to gain access to the documents. The official said that the Pentagon had instituted procedures in the past few days to “lock down” the distribution of highly sensitive briefing documents. The documents posted online were photographs of folded papers, some with images of a magazine behind them, information that may help investigators.
The documents show that nearly every Russian security service appears penetrated by the United States in some way. For example, one entry, marked top secret, discusses the Russian General Staff’s plans to counter the tanks NATO countries were providing to Ukraine, including creating different “fire zones” and beginning training of Russian soldiers on the vulnerabilities of different allied tanks.
Another entry talks about an information campaign being planned by the GRU, Russia’s military intelligence unit, in Africa trying to shape public opinion against the United States and “promote Russian foreign policy.”
While some of the intelligence briefs offer analysis and broad warnings of Russian plans, others are the kind of actionable information that Ukraine could use to defend itself. One entry talks about the Russian Defense Ministry formulating plans to conduct missile strikes on Ukraine’s forces at specific sites in Odesa and Mykolaiv on March 3, an attack that the U.S. intelligence agencies believed would be designed to destroy a drone storage area, an air defense gun and kill Ukrainian soldiers.
Still another entry discusses a report in February disseminated by Russia’s National Defense Command Center about the “decreased combat capability” of Russia’s forces in Eastern Ukraine.
While the documents were compiled by the Pentagon’s Joint Staff, they contain intelligence from many agencies, including the National Security Agency, the State Department’s Bureau of Intelligence and Research, and the Central Intelligence Agency. Some of the material is labeled as having been collected under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, or F.I.S.A., noting that its further distribution is not allowed without the permission of the attorney general.
One section of the documents is labeled as being the C.I.A. Operations Center Intelligence Update from March 2. That section discusses intelligence on how the Russian ministry of defense had considered steps to counter accusations that it had not been supplying munitions to Wagner group troops in Ukraine “according to a signals intelligence report.”
The documents reveal that American intelligence services are not only spying on the Russians, but are also eavesdropping on important allies.
In the pages posted online, there are at least two discussions about South Korea’s debate about whether to give the U.S. artillery shells for use in Ukraine, violating Seoul’s policy on providing lethal aid. One section of the documents reports that South Korean officials were worried that President Biden would call South Korea’s president pressuring Seoul to deliver the goods.
Another section of the documents, from the C.I.A., is more explicit about how the United States has learned about the South Korean deliberations, noting the information was from “a signals intelligence report.”

The Justice Department has opened an investigation into the leak of classified Pentagon documents appearing to detail Ukraine’s combat capabilities, its potential vulnerabilities and NATO’s broad efforts to help repel Russia’s invasion, the agency said Friday, as the U.S. government raced to determine how the material surfaced online and what value it may hold for the Kremlin.
In a statement, the department said it was in communication with the Pentagon and had begun an investigation, but that it had no further comment.
Confirmation of the investigation came as senior U.S. officials realizedthe scope of leaked material was much more expansive than initially thought.
Earlier Friday, The Washington Post obtained dozens of what appeared to be photographs showing classified documents, dating to late February and early March, that range from worldwide intelligence briefings to tactical-level battlefield updates and assessments of Ukraine’s defense capabilities. They outline information about the Ukrainian and Russian militaries, and include highly sensitive U.S. analyses about China and other nations. The materials also reference highly classified sources and methods that the United States uses to collect such information, alarming U.S. national security officials who have seen them.
A Pentagon spokeswoman, Sabrina Singh, said in a brief statement that the matter is under review, but she declined to address when officials first became aware of the leak, and how damaging the Biden administration considers the disclosure to be. The Pentagon has referred the matter to the Justice Department, she said.
One U.S. defense official, who like others spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss the Pentagon’s preliminary understanding of the leak, said that many of the documents appear to have been prepared over the winter for Gen. Mark A. Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and other senior military officials, but that they were available to many other U.S. personnel and contract employees with the appropriate security clearances.
It was unclear who may have posted the materials online, this person said, adding that hundreds — if not thousands — of people had access to them. The source of the leak, the official said, “could be anyone.”
The material that appeared online includes photographs of documents labeled “Secret” or “Top Secret,” and began appearing on Discord, a chat platform popular with gamers, according to a Post review.
On Wednesday, images showing some of the documents began circulating on the anonymous online message board 4chan and made their way to at least two mainstream social media platforms, Telegram and Twitter.
In some cases, it appears that the slides were manipulated. For instance, one image features combat casualty data suggesting the number of Russian soldiers killed in the war is far below what the Pentagon publicly has assessed. Another version of the image showed higher Russian casualty figures.
Besides the information on casualties that appeared to be manipulated to benefit the Russian government, U.S. officials who spoke to The Post said many of the leaked documents did not appear to be forged and looked consistent in format with CIA World Intelligence Review reports distributed at high levels within the White House, Pentagon and the State Department.
The leak, first reported Thursday by the New York Times, coincides with an expansive effort by the United States and NATO to arm and train Ukrainian units for an anticipated push this spring to reclaim Russian-occupied territory in the east and south. There were immediate concerns that the information’s disclosure could complicate that plan, as the documents appear to reveal how much Western military weaponry and other equipment had arrived on the battlefield, how many Ukrainian soldiers are trained to use it, and how Ukraine has arrayed its air defenses to stop an onslaught of Russian missiles.
Another potentially sensitive data point is the rate at which NATO-supplied howitzers are burning through the 155mm shells they fire. The documents appear to describe incoming shipment flows and projections outlining how fast the Ukrainians would run out if shipments were impeded. The Pentagon has refused to disclose such insights publicly and only vaguely describes how much artillery ammunition it provides.
The documents also include battlefield assessments, including for Bakhmut, the Ukrainian town where Russian and Ukrainian forces have been stalemated for months, locked in a ferocious, grinding artillery campaign that has left thousands dead.
While the documents do not contain specific battle plans, the material is “incredibly helpful” to the Kremlin, said Dmitri Alperovitch, chairman of Silverado Policy Accelerator, a think tank. “It literally has order of battle information — detail about the units that will be involved [in the forthcoming counteroffensive], their manning, equipment and training levels. … That information can be extremely beneficial for putting up a defense.”
The documents appear to have been drawn from multiple reports and agencies, and concern matters other than Ukraine. Two pages, for example, are purportedly a “CIA Operations Center Intelligence Update,” and includes information about events concerning Russia, HUNGARY and Iran.
“We are aware of the posts and are looking into the claims,” a CIA spokesperson said in a statement.
Rachel E. VanLandingham, a former Air Force attorney and expert on military law, said that whoever is responsible for the leak “is in a world of hurt.” Such breaches, she said, constitute “one of the most serious crimes that exist regarding U.S. national security.”
The images of the documents obtained by The Post all appear to have come from the same source. Each page was printed before being photographed, and folded in four in the same manner.
Classified documents may only be printed from computers in a secure facility, and each transaction is electronically logged, said Glenn Gerstell, a former general counsel with the National Security Agency who emphasized that he was speaking only about general procedures.
“The fact that the documents were printed out should significantly narrow the universe of the initial inquiry,” Gerstell said. “But even assuming they were properly printed out, that doesn’t mean the person who printed them was responsible for the leak. Maybe he or she kept them in a secure place and some spy or unauthorized person got to them and took a picture of them. Or maybe they were negligently left somewhere.”
In the past, U.S. government employees and contractors have faced considerable prison time for mishandling classified information. In one high-profile case, Reality Winner, an Air Force veteran and National Security Agency contractor, pleaded guilty in 2018 to a single felony count of unauthorized transmission of national defense information and was sentenced to five years and three months. She had shared a report about Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. election with a news outlet.
Skepticism abounded Friday among both Russian and Ukrainian officials aware of reports about the leaks, with each side accusing the other of being involved in a deliberate act of disinformation.
“Russia is looking for any way to intercept the information initiative, to try to influence the scenario plans of Ukraine’s counteroffensive,” Mykhailo Podolyak, a top adviser to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, said on his Telegram account Friday. “But these are only standard elements of the operational game of Russian intelligence — and nothing more. This has nothing to do with Ukraine’s real plans.”
Grey Zone, a Telegram channel popular with Russia’s Wagner mercenary group, said it was possible the documents are “disinformation of Western intelligence in order to mislead our command to identify the enemy’s strategy in the upcoming counteroffensive.”

Event was ‘overwhelmingly pro-Russian’, says one attendee, as bank calls clients to apologise
Bank of America cut short an online client conference on geopolitics and apologised to attendees after some balked at what they saw as pro-Russian comments about the war in Ukraine, according to three people who attended the event.
The conference was designed as a two-day event beginning on Tuesday, but BofA Securities cancelled three sessions addressing US sanctions on Russia and Russia-US relations. The move came after some clients complained about the tone of comments by speakers from inside and outside the bank during online forums on Tuesday.
One of the bank’s strategists telephoned clients after the event to apologise for the content of Tuesday’s sessions, according to three people familiar with the matter.
“I still don’t get why US banks still wheel out speakers at events for clients who so often roll through Moscow’s talking points on the war in Ukraine,” Timothy Ash, of BlueBay Asset Management, a Russia specialist who attended the conference, wrote on Twitter.
He told the Financial Times: “Clearly Moscow is in an information war with the west. It has an interest in influencing how western banks portray the conflict, and banks need to be mindful of that.”
BofA said the meeting was one of many that included external speakers to help its clients understand issues affecting their investment decisions.
It said in a statement: “All our external speakers are independent and the diverse views expressed are their own. We have apologised to those clients who voiced their displeasure at some of the views expressed.”
Investment banks often host speakers with controversial views as part of their efforts to supply a broad range of opinions to their clients. But some of those present at Tuesday’s event said it was unusual for such one-sided views to be presented without there being other viewpoints for balance.
“It was more like Bank of Russia than Bank of America,” said one of those present. “The whole event was overwhelmingly pro-Russian.”
Another person described Tuesday’s sessions as “relentlessly anti-Ukrainian”.
Two people on the call said Daniel Sheehan, BofA Securities’ senior vice-president for international relations, was critical of Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy, describing him as “a master manipulator and mimic” about whom there were “serious concerns” in the US administration. A spokesperson for Zelenskyy did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
A BofA spokesperson said the bank disagreed with this interpretation of Sheehan’s remarks, which had been intended to reflect the views of others, rather than his own.
One of those present said they felt one speaker, Nicolai Petro, a professor of political science at the University of Rhode Island, “said stuff that was absolutely shocking?.?.?.?it was straight out of the foreign ministry of Russia”.
However, Petro has countered that people who complained “had their own agenda” and had “really not listened” to what he said.
In his prepared speech, which he shared with the FT, Petro’s remarks included: “Under any scenario, Ukraine would be the overwhelming loser” in the war. Its industrial capacity would be “devastated”, partly by its economic policy of becoming an agricultural superpower “as recommended by the EU and the United States” and its population would continue to shrink as people left to look for employment abroad.
“If this is what Russia meant by removing Ukraine’s capacity to wage war against Russia, then it will arguably have won,” he said.
He said the US government had no interest in a ceasefire because it had the most to gain from a prolonged conflict through a “dramatic increase in EU energy and military dependence on the US”.
After the talk, Ash asked Petro a number of questions. One attendee said Petro’s views were “not praising [Russian president Vladimir] Putin” and that it appeared that Ash wanted to push an agenda.
Ash said his only agenda was “to make sure western banks adopt a balanced approach to the conflict and don’t get sucked into just echoing Moscow’s talking points”.
Another person present said that, while views such as Petro’s may be offensive to many in the west, it was important to hear them expressed. “It does convey information about how other people think,” the person said. “If that’s how people in Russia think about how the conflict has evolved, that’s important to know.”

Twitter has removed restrictions on Kremlin-linked accounts in the wake of its acquisition by tech billionaire Elon Musk, a review of the website has found.
Tests from multiple accounts showed that Twitter’s search results, timeline and recommendation tools are showing users such as Vladimir Putin’s presidential account, the country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and its UK Embassy – all of which had restrictions placed on them when hostilities broke out.
It comes after it emerged that Twitter was no longer limiting the reach of Russian state media organisations.
Last April, in the weeks after Russian troops entered Ukraine, Twitter said it would “not amplify or recommend government accounts belonging to states that limit access to free information and are engaged in armed interstate conflict”, saying the policy would instantly apply to Russian government accounts.
It said this would mean the accounts would not be recommended in searches, the home timeline and other parts of the service.
However, tests by The Telegraph last week showed that Russian government accounts featured at the top of certain search results and would show up in suggestions of other accounts to follow.
Russian government tweets appeared in Twitter’s algorithmically-driven “For You” feed for a newly created account, even when it did not follow them.
A former Twitter executive confirmed that this marked a reversal from last year’s measures.
They said: “It would be exceedingly unlikely that this change would have happened accidentally, or without the knowledge and direction of the company’s staff.”
Social media is seen as a key part of the Kremlin’s misinformation. Its UK embassy account has been condemned for claiming that Ukrainian forces are firing on their own citizens and saying that soldiers “deserve death by hanging”.
Mr Musk acquired Twitter last October for $44bn (£35bn) and has reversed many of the social network’s moderation efforts, saying he wants to promote free speech.
Last week it emerged that Twitter had loosened restrictions on Russian and Chinese state media accounts such as RT.com and the Global Times, introduced in 2020. Wenhao Ma, a reporter at the US-owned Voice of America broadcaster, found that he was being recommended posts from Beijing-funded media outlets. The site has also removed labels attached to the accounts urging users to “stay informed”.
A study of Twitter’s source code last week showed that its algorithm downranks posts related to the Ukraine crisis.
Mr Musk’s Starlink satellite internet system has been a crucial weapon for Ukraine as it seeks to defend itself from Russia’s invasion, but the Tesla billionaire has appeared more sympathetic to Russia in recent months, sparking criticism from Ukraine’s president Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Twitter could not be reached for contact. The email address for the company’s press office responded with an automatic reply featuring a poo emoji, while Ella Irwin, its head of trust and safety, did not respond to a request for comment.

The first grand jury indictment against Donald Trump, like so many highly-anticipated gotcha moments involving the former president, landed with a thud this week.
Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s 34-count bill of goods failed to impress legal and political observers across the spectrum. Even Ruth Marcus, associate editor for the Washington Post, admitted the legal basis for the charges is “unnervingly flimsy at worst.”
News coverage of Bragg’s faceplant is quickly disappearing from the front pages as all desperate eyes now turn to Jack Smith, the mysterious figure appointed by Attorney General Merrick Garland last year ostensibly to take over the Justice Department’s investigation into Trump’s culpability for January 6 and alleged mishandling of classified documents. As I explained here, Smith is special counsel in name only; the team of investigators and prosecutors who initiated the first set of inquiries simply changed letterhead.
Given the targets of Smith’s recent subpoenas, we can surmise there is nothing independent or impartial about his behind-the-scenes work. In rapid succession, Smith has successfully sought testimony from Trump’s inner circle, including former chief of staff Mark Meadows and White House lawyer Evan Corcoran.
For the first time in history, a vice president will testify before a grand jury considering evidence of crimes committed by his former boss. Mike Pence, after winning partial immunity, reportedly will answer questions about his exchanges with Trump in the weeks leading up to the protest at the Capitol. Oddly, Pence will not be compelled to discuss what he did on January 6—a dubious protection considering his key presence throughout the day and into the next morning.
Of course, the public can’t read any of the government’s arguments since everything remains under seal. Ditto for court orders granting Smith’s every wish. As the most norm-crushing investigation in history unfolds in the nation’s capital, judges without explanation keep the files out of the view of the American people.
Out of view, that is, except for what D.C. apparatchiks want to spin. Selective leaks keep Smith’s inquiry in the headlines. CNN disclosed this week that Smith’s team is focused on postelection discussions in the Trump White House related to the possible seizure of voting machines. “Details about the secret grand jury testimony and closed-door interviews, neither of which have been previously reported, illustrate how special counsel Smith and his prosecutors are looking at the various ways Trump tried to overturn his electoral loss despite some of his top officials advising him against the ideas.”
The coordinated leak strategy is intended to give the appearance that the prison walls, once again, are closing in on Trump.
This time, however, it’s true.
Smith’s multipronged investigation—another recent leak indicated Smith’s team is considering obstruction charges tied to the classified documents investigation—by far represents the most dangerous legal threat Trump has ever faced. Working with a limitless budget, no media scrutiny, zero congressional oversight, compliant federal judges, and abundant case law providing a clear pathway to multiple felony charges related to January 6, Smith is in the driver’s seat. And he knows it.
A D.C. grand jury likely will indict Trump on multiple counts for his key role in the events of January 6. Grand juries are composed of the same voters who sit on regular juries—and that is terrible news for Trump. Washington, D.C., is the most heavily Democratic city in the country, even more so than New York City and San Francisco, and grand juries since January 6 have issued hundreds of federal indictments representing thousands of criminal counts. The Justice Department has a near-perfect conviction rate for January 6 defendants; judges refuse to move trials out of D.C. despite overwhelming proof Trump supporters cannot receive a fair trial in the nation’s capital.
Trump almost certainly will be charged with obstruction of an official proceeding, the felony slapped against at least 250 January 6 defendants punishable by up to 20 years in prison, and conspiracy. He could face other offenses such as tampering with witnesses and/or evidence if Smith shows proof that Trump tried to interfere with any aspect of the investigation, including the work of the January 6 select committee.
But Smith might decide to pursue seditious conspiracy charges, which poses the greatest legal peril for Trump. Several men have been convicted or pleaded guilty to the rare charge, a crime comparable to treason. Five members of the Proud Boys are now on trial for seditious conspiracy; prosecutors have cited Trump’s off-handed (and prompted) remark for Proud Boys to “stand back and stand by” during the September 2020 presidential debate as a call-to-action of sorts that motivated the group’s unarmed “attack” on the Capitol.
Should any or all of the Proud Boys defendants be found guilty—the case is expected to finally go to the jury next week after four months of arguments—the convictions will add fuel to Smith’s pursuit of a similar charge against Trump.
When he is indicted, Trump will confront the same legal and judicial circle of hell that has destroyed the lives of hundreds of Americans and counting. Judges he appointed will automatically be disqualified—not that it makes a difference since his judges have acted as badly, and in the case of Judge Timothy Kelly, worse than jurists appointed by Democratic presidents. His case will probably be assigned to an Obama-appointed judge such as Amit Mehta or James Boasberg, the new chief judge.
From there, Trump can expect a change of venue motion to be denied. The judge handling his case will cite the handful of acquittals as evidence Trump can get a fair trial in Washington. Any appeal will be denied by the D.C. Circuit.
And to fulfill the bloodlust on the Left to finally see Donald Trump behind bars, there is a chance Smith will request, and a judge will grant, pretrial detention for the former president. Dozens of January 6 defendants charged with nonviolent obstruction or conspiracy counts have been denied release by D.C. judges; most have no criminal record and committed no violent act that day.
But none of the facts matter. Trump will be treated no differently in the banana republic-like atmosphere in the D.C. federal courthouse.
After all, this is the same judicial circuit that has stripped Trump of executive privilege protections and insisted, as Judge Tanya Chutkan wrote in her 2021 order denying Trump’s first privilege claims, “Presidents are not kings, and [Trump] is not President.”
And that is how Trump will be treated. Not as a former president but as a traitor—the man responsible for inciting the “insurrection” that still traumatizes so many judges and jurors to this day, the leader who attempted to “overthrow democracy” on January 6.
Decent Americans still want to believe this can’t, and won’t, happen. But it is a near-certainty for which the country, flat-footed Republican leaders in particular, must prepare. Bragg’s flop was merely the unsatisfying appetizer for the feast on Donald Trump that is about to come.

1) It is unlikely the Secret Service will let any former President to serve time in any prison. They are tasked with protecting the former President and that wound be impossible if they are in a prison.
2) She doesn’t mention how the Judicial Decisions stripping Presidential Privilege/Privacy from President Trump strips it from all former, current and future Presidents. This action by itself has destroyed the Old Paradigm, it also ensured that the Constitutional Convention that will he held to try and ensure the left can’t destroy the New Paradigm will enumerate many of the protections that we have found necessary and build into our traditions.
3) She doesn’t say how all of the charges are based on liying by omission of the exculpatory evidence.

A jury in Travis County, Texas found Army Sgt. Daniel Perry, 33, guilty of murder on Friday, nearly three years after he shot a BLM protester who had a history of threatening people with rifles, after a Soros-funded DA withheld nearly 100 pages of exculpatory evidence from the grand jury according to the lead investigator in the case.
While driving for Uber, Perry shot protester Garrett Foster during a July 2020 protest in downtown Austin, after Foster and other protesters surrounded his car. After Foster raised his rifle at Perry, the Army Sergeant shot and killed Foster, then called the police to report what happened.
Daniel Perry was working as an Uber driver in Austin, TX when he found himself in the middle of a BLM mob.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott is standing up for Americans’ right to self-defense.
He just released a statement saying that he has recommended Sgt. Daniel Perry be pardoned to the Board of Pardons and Paroles.
He also urged them to expedite its review of the case.
Abbott said, “Unlike the President or some other states, the Texas Constitution limits the Governor’s pardon authority to only act on a recommendation by the Board Of Pardons and Paroles. Texas law DOES allow the Governor to request the Board of Pardons and Paroles to determine if a person should be granted a pardon. I have made that request and instructed the board to expedite its review. I look forward to approving the Board’s pardon recommendation as soon as it hits my desk.”

Prior to being fatally shot, Garrett Foster said on camera that the “people who hate us” are “too big of p-ssies to actually do anything about it” when asked why he was carrying a rifle.

I forgot to point out that in Texas the Governor can only pardon or commute the sentences of the people the Parole Board recommends. The Governor can request that recommendation, which Governor Abbott has, until that recommendation he can’t do anything.

Days after Walter Reed National Military Medical Center’s most famous patient was released from care it was revealed the military hospital has issued a cease and desist order barring Catholic priests from ministering. The contract was reportedly awarded to a secular for-profit company. The order has been denounced by at least one Congressman.

The Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA released a statement on Friday about the barring of priests from Holy Name College. Walter Reed is located in the D.C. suburb of Bethesda, Maryland. Holy Name College is a few miles east in Silver Spring, Maryland.
Walter Reed National Military Medical Center Terminates Catholic Pastoral Care Contract During Holy Week
Move violates First Amendment Right to Free Exercise of Religion
WASHINGTON, DC – Walter Reed National Military Medical Center has issued a “cease and desist order” to Holy Name College, a community of Franciscan Catholic priests and brothers, who have provided pastoral care to service members and veterans at Walter Reed for nearly two decades.
The government’s cease and desist order directed the Catholic priests to cease any religious services at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. This order was issued as Catholics entered Holy Week, the most sacred of days in the Christian faith, in which they participate in liturgies remembering Jesus’ passion, and leading the Church to celebrate the Resurrection on Easter morning.
The Franciscans’ contract for Catholic Pastoral Care was terminated on March 31, 2023, and awarded to a secular defense contracting firm that cannot fulfill the statement of work in the contract. As a result, adequate pastoral care is not available for service members and veterans in the United States’ largest Defense Health Agency medical center either during Holy Week or beyond. There is one Catholic Army chaplain assigned to Walter Reed Medical Center, but he is in the process of separating from the Army.
His Excellency, the Most Reverend Timothy P. Broglio, J.C.D., Archbishop for the Military Services, condemned the move as an encroachment on the First Amendment guarantee of the Free Exercise of Religion. Archbishop Broglio said: “It is incomprehensible that essential pastoral care is taken away from the sick and the aged when it was so readily available. This is a classic case where the adage ‘if it is not broken, do not fix it’ applies. I fear that giving a contract to the lowest bidder overlooked the fact that the bidder cannot provide the necessary service. I earnestly hope that this disdain for the sick will be remedied at once and their First Amendment rights will be respected.”
Ms. Elizabeth A. Tomlin, Esq., General Counsel of the Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA (AMS), has reached out to the contracting officers at Walter Reed numerous times throughout Holy Week asking for the Franciscans’ Catholic ministry to be reinstated at least through Easter. Walter Reed National Military Medical Center has not responded to these requests from the Archdiocese.
While Walter Reed’s chaplain office claims Catholic care is being provided during Holy Week, the AMS maintains that without Catholic priests present at the medical center, service members and veterans are being denied the constitutional right to practice their religion.
Walter Reed National Military Medical Center is one of many medical centers within the Department of Defense and Defense Health Agency whose pastoral care lies within AMS jurisdiction. The refusal to provide adequate pastoral care while awarding a contract for Catholic ministry to a for-profit company that has no way of providing Catholic priests to the medical center is a glaring violation of service members’ and veterans’ Right to the Free Exercise of Religion. Especially, during Holy Week, the lack of adequate Catholic pastoral care causes untold and irreparable harm to Catholics who are hospitalized and therefore a captive population whose religious rights the government has a constitutional duty to provide for and protect.
A 2019 job posting by Holy Name College for a part-time chaplain describes the work involved:
The Franciscans at Holy Name College, Silver Spring, Md., have an opening for a friar priest to join the chaplain team at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center – the Flagship of Military Medicine – located in suburban Washington, DC. The Franciscans have served at Walter Reed as contract chaplains since 2007 as part of the Department of Pastoral Care and currently are present at the hospital six days a week. The department consists of military chaplains of various faith denominations as well as contract civilian clergy.
Chaplains minister to active duty service members, veterans and their families, as well as elected members of the three branches of government. The work involves patient visitation, counseling, and liturgical celebrations – daily Mass, Anointing of the Sick, the Sacrament of Reconciliation and an occasional Baptism. The position is part-time: two or three days a week, four to five hours a day.
CPE background welcome but not required. Fluency in Spanish helpful but not required. This may be a good fit for a semi-retired friar-priest looking for a part-time pastoral position coupled with other ministries and desires to live in a formation house.

This has already been addressed as *not* interfering with religious practice. This happened when the military barred at least one Protestant chaplain from attempting to convert service members.The role of the military is to provide for the spiritual needs of all denominations. Indeed, I was once the go-to person for a non-Jewish chaplain who was slated to lead Yom Kippur services and needed to know how to pronounce some of the words. We used prayerbooks from the Government Printing office. I assume that at some point the pastor did work with a lay chaplain who was Jewish when doing the service, but at the point that I met him, he was preparing nonetheless.
Report: Ex-Con Friend of Mandalay Bay Shooter Stephen Paddock Wrote Him Letters Imploring Him Not to Commit Massacre of Innocent People

According to a new report, an ex-con friend of Stephen Paddock wrote a letter to him urging him not to shoot innocent people.
The letters written by ex-con Jim Nixon were allegedly found in November 2017 weeks after the shooting by the owners of an abandoned office building in Mesquite, Texas, where Paddock owned property.
The FBI never admitted to the American public what drove Paddock to murder 60 people and injured 860 others in the largest mass shooting in US history. The FBI tells us the motive is still a mystery. This is the same intelligence group that ran a coup against President Trump knowing the evidence was fabricated.
Disturbing letters written by the friend of the deadliest mass shooter in US history have offered a glimpse into the gunman’s horrifying psyche in the lead up to the massacre.
Months before Stephen Paddock killed 60 people and injured over 860 when he opened fire on the Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas in 2017, his ex-con friend Jim Nixon, 75, implored him not to ‘shoot or kill innocent people’.
Handwritten letters to the killer, which were released by police in response to a records request by the Las Vegas Review Journal, show Nixon pleading with his old friend not to follow through with threats to carry out the carnage.
‘I can get someone for you who can help you,’ he wrote. ‘Please don’t go out shooting or hurting people who did nothing to you.
‘I am concern (sic) about the way you are talking and believe you are going to do something very bad. Steve please please don’t do what I think you are going to do.’
The letters, which DailyMail.com has requested access to, were found in late November 2017 by the owners of an abandoned office building in Mesquite, Texas, where Paddock owned property before the killings.
Nixon told CNN he exchanged letters with Paddock several times a year, which reveal that he expressed concern over his friend’s disturbing mentality in the years before his ‘plan’.

Almost immediately on Jan 6 as soon as violence broke out at the Capitol, social media put out a picture of three white males all wearing the same T-shirt that said – MAGA – CIVIL WAR – January 6 ,2021. These individuals are now suspected of being Deep State plants.
A picture of reportedly pro-Trump MAGA patriots on Jan 6 was shared wildly by the far-left.
This picture showed three men in the same T-shirt with the same logo “MAGA – CIVIL WAR – January 6 ,2021?.
Far-left VOX was sure to share the photo to build upon the narrative that Trump supporters, were violent and ready to take down the Capitol that day. Despite President Trump having 1.1 million people at his rallies to Joe Biden’s less than 2,000 supporters at his “rallies”, and there being no reported violence at Trump rallies, the left was quick to call all the acts of violence that day committed by Trump supporters.
A local ABC affiliate was certain to share this photo as well shortly after Jan 6.

In the original picture, you could see all three individual’s shoes – they are all soft-soled black military/cop issue. Very few, if any, patriots walked around in shoes like this on J6.
Not only that, the pants they all are wearing are all “police issue” with cargo side pockets. I compared their pic with the videos of the cops on the Capitol steps and the type of shoes and pants are a 100% match with Metro Police. And the gloves all look like department equipment. Also, they have wires and what looks like a radio hanging from their collar, and two of them are wearing earphones. The guy on the left has some device hanging down which could be a camera, body-cam, radio device… And the ring on one of the belts might be for a baton, or…?
It also is not in keeping, with the basically peaceful nature of us patriots, who would never advertise a rally or ‘protest’ as anything remotely symbolizing a ‘civil war.’ I think any patriot wearing a sweatshirt like that would be ostracized, or shut down quickly.

CNN has recently begun to warn its audience that the U.S. economy is not doing well at all — this despite more than a year of stating the opposite. This late admission seems to come far too late to do anything about it at the ballot box for many voters, but, still, it seems to be the most obvious conclusion.
Only a few days ago, for instance, CNN published a story wondering, “Is the US economy ‘unwell?’ We’re about to find out.”
As inflation continues to soar and after suffering under rising costs in food, gasoline, rent and high interest rates for new home buys, the American people are likely screaming in gales of laughter at CNN for only just now noticing Biden’s two years of disastrous economic decisions.
Naturally, CNN has to start its article out with a bald-faced lie, saying that there have been “months” of a strong labor market and economy. This is false. Jobs grew slightly under Biden only because so many were fired during the COVID pandemic and many took second jobs

A Lamar High School student in Houston, Texas punched his teacher in the face after the male teacher took his phone.
The entire assault was captured on video.
The black student is heard telling the teacher, “Give me my f**king phone, nigga!”
The teacher stood his ground and said, “No!”
That’s when the teen pretended to back down but instead dug in and threw a haymaker at his teacher and hit him in the jaw! The teacher had no idea it was coming.

The school’s principal reportedly sent a note to parents saying the school does not condone or tolerate this type of behavior. The principal says, “Administrators will be looking into the cause of the altercation and continue to evaluate ways to prevent these occurrences in the future.”
The teacher hasn’t been identified by name and hasn’t publicly commented about the incident.
This seems to be all too common in US schools today. We are seeing more and more incidents like this every few weeks.

In the last five months, the US Food and Drug Administration has approved two American producers of lab-grown meat, a product grown from animal cells for human consumption for the first time.
In 2022, the FDA announced that laboratory-grown chicken developed by Upside Food, is “safe to eat,” clearing the way for the California-based company that creates cell-cultured chickens to begin selling its products.
To manufacture its meat, Upside Foods harvests cells from live animals, chicken tissue, and uses the cells to grow meat in stainless-steel tanks known as bioreactors.
The agency issued a statement announcing it evaluated Upside Food’s production and cultured cell material and has “no further questions” about the safety of its cultivated chicken filet.
The world is experiencing a food revolution,” stated FDA Commissioner Robert M. Califf. “Advancements in cell culture technology are enabling food developers to use animal cells obtained from livestock poultry, and seafood in the production of food with these products expected to be ready for the US market in the near future.”

Multiple county music artists will appear at a concert to benefit the families of victims of the March 27 Covenant School shooting in Nashville.
Three children and three adults were killed when transgender shooter Audrey Hale opened fire before Hale was later killed by police.

Dr. Thomas Williams: I think signs of it are all around us, and I think that we’re living in a time of accelerated transformation of society, and especially with regard to the way Christians are perceived and the way Christians are treated. Look at a couple of examples here. Look at the FBI. Since when does the FBI target use Rico laws against peaceful protesters outside an abortion clinic, the way we’ve been seeing the last couple of years? Since when does the FBI have an internal memo saying we’re going to be targeting those who go to the Latin, the traditional Latin mass because they have a high propensity to become Christian nationalists and white supremacists? And so we’re going to target them despite the fact that obviously there is zero evidence of this. So when you’re militarizing our security forces against the American people and against those who take their Christian faith seriously whether it’s because they’re upholding the moral truth of the dignity of the human person or whether it’s because they want to worship in a way that is dignified and does honor to their god. And they’re targeted by government for this. And what is that if not an indication that it’s open season?
If the government will do that, that also is an indication to regular citizens, hey, it’s a free for all now. You can do this because this group is no longer something that should be tolerated the way that they’re living. No, I think there are signs all around, and I think, as you mentioned, the Covenant School shooting was horrific. It’s a very good example of especially the way that it’s reported on and looked upon and justified. No, it’s going to get worse and it’s going to get bloodier.
Dr. Thomas Williams: I think we have to do what Christians have always done. We need to remember in the first place, remember the martyrs, this do this in memory of me, this idea of looking back and of drawing strength from our heroes, the saints. In every tradition, in every Christian tradition, the saints are our heroes. They are the ones. They are heaven’s athletes. They are the ones who have fought the fight. They are the ones who have won the battle. And we need to look to them for inspiration. We need to look to them as role models of what we’re called to be in this world. Why is it that we’re alive today? What is it that is our task in the world today? Why are we living now and not 200 years ago, not 200 years in the future? If we’re Christian believers, we know that God has us here for a reason, and we’re called to live in this time, in this historic moment, because we have a job to do. We have a mission. And I think that becoming more and more aware of that, informing ourselves about the situation of what’s going on and taking it upon ourselves shoulder and shoulder with our brothers and sisters to fight that good fight and to stand firm and to proclaim the truth both of the gospel, but also of the need for respect and religious freedom, which is, again, our first freedom.

An American mechanic was kidnapped off the street in Mexicali, Mexico in broad daylight in January.
Edgar “Polvos” Perez Chairez, a 35-year-old California native, was taken by suspects shortly before noon on January 4.
The FBI is now offering a $10,000 reward for information on the kidnapping.

Red lights have to be flashing for the current administration and its supporters: “danger ahead.”
Inflation continues threatening to turn into a crushing recession. Iran is reportedly days away from a nuclear-weapons breakout. A Chinese spy balloon just spent a week doing figure-eights over America’s most sensitive nuclear sites while transmitting information back to Beijing in real time. Communist Chinese President Xi Jinping is telling his people to prepare for war. And the House Oversight Committee keeps finding more bank evidence that the Biden family appears compromised by foreign payments.
What do the current administration and its supporters do, then? Revert to the tried-and-true playbook of the Trump era and launch the latest “Trump trial” to distract from the administration’s challenges. The pattern has been consistent – create a false narrative that is more favorable to themselves and more problematic for whoever is challenging them.
After seeing multiple high-level Democrat operatives from candidate Hillary Clinton herself approving a disinformation operation against then-candidate Trump, her campaign and the DNC reportedly financing the Steele dossier, DNI James Clapper reportedly leaking info on the Steel dossier to the media, Adam Schiff misleading his colleagues about information leading to the first Trump impeachment, and 51 former intelligence officials signing a bogus letter about the Hunter Biden laptop, there should be little surprise that New York County District Attorney Alvin Bragg — whose campaign was indirectly supported by a million dollars from George Soros while Bragg “promised to put Trump behind bars” — decided to move forward with what ended up a totally fabricated, politically-motivated indictment of Trump. It did not even fulfill the constitutional requirement for Trump “to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation” – meaning: Bragg did not even name the supposed federal crime.
Those now in charge will seemingly do almost anything to make the narrative leading up to the election once again about allegations against Trump instead of the geopolitical and economic shortcomings of Biden’s policies. If a presidential candidate, a Director of National Intelligence, and a Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee will engage in hyper-partisan political activities under the guise of legitimate government activities, why should we be surprised that a local prosecutor might do the same thing?
The bottom line is that every Republican potential candidate will have to address the “Trump issue,” probably multiple times during the upcoming weeks and months, rather than discussing their solutions and proposals to address the economic and national security concerns gripping Americans today. For the current administration, that is “mission accomplished.”

What’s a politician to do? Going into a presidential election year, the incumbent president looks to be facing a difficult reelection campaign. Persistently high inflation numbers remain a problem. Energy prices are still up. America’s southern border is being overrun with illegal border-crossers and fentanyl. Major bank failures have raised the specter of a banking crisis. There are multiple House of Representatives investigations covering Biden family finances, the weaponization of government agencies, China, and the origins of COVID. For the current administration and its supporters, the answer is as easy as it is familiar: change the subject to Donald Trump. It has been an oppositional go-to foil since Trump dared step onto the political stage in 2016.
The expectations that President Joe Biden would be facing significant headwinds going into the November 2024 election are proving to be accurate. While there is plenty of time for the political narrative to change — and it will — for many in the government hoping to run again, the current situation has to be worrisome.
Fox News reported that a March 23 poll found that Biden’s approval numbers had slipped from 45% down to 38%. That is just above his July 2022 all-time low of just 36% approval, which followed inflation peaking at 9.1% in June 2022. “It’s the economy stupid,” as the expression became famously known during Bill Clinton’s presidential election campaign in 1992. On this critical issue, Biden gets a rating of only 31% approval.
While the 2022 midterms failed to develop into the “red wave” Republicans hoped for, and pundits anticipated, there was enough of a ripple to give Republicans control of the House of Representatives. As these same pundits prepare their 2024 predictions, they can look to the election of 1980 when inflation was as high as we experienced in the summer of 2022.
Leading up to the 1980 presidential election, Americans experienced gas lines at the pump, President Jimmy Carter encouraged Americans to wear sweaters so we could save on heating costs by turning down the thermostat, and we had high interest rates to go along with high inflation and unemployment, leading to what eventually was dubbed “stagflation.” Carter ending up losing his reelection bid to President Ronald Reagan in a landslide.
Economic uncertainty and consumer anxiety in 1980, and again in 1992, led to the demise of two presidential reelection bids. Biden and the Democrats recognize that on their current trajectory, they might be heading to the same outcome in 2024.

Even as Hillary Clinton and pollsters were anticipating another Clinton presidency in 2016, they began the sinister “Russia hoax” campaign against Trump, to create a narrative that Trump was beholden to Russia. Clinton’s former campaign manager, Robby Mook, testified in court that Clinton herself approved sharing information with the media about uncorroborated information linking Trump to Russia. The Clinton campaign and the DNC reportedly financed the “Steele dossier,” a now-discredited report, “that included salacious allegations about Trump’s conduct in Russia and allegations about ties between the Trump campaign and Russia.”
Consider other actions as part of the Trump trials, including two impeachments of Trump; blocking discussion on the Chinese origins of COVID-19 in order to blame him, and discrediting the now-authenticated salacious Hunter Biden laptop as Russian disinformation just days before the 2020 elections.
Where does this lead one? Clearly the narrative is already changing. Trump’s indictment, the first indictment of a former president in the history of the country, will dominate the news during early April. The media is already acting on cue, going with wall-to-wall coverage of Trump’s motorcade and flight to New York, and his arraignment. Ongoing discussions about the risks, perils, and opportunities of a future court trial will become top story.
Trump’s fundraising skyrocketed in the immediate aftermath of the indictment news and his poll numbers jumped up too in the Republican primary. Meanwhile, as predicted, 94% of Democrats support Trump’s indictment, but the Republican Party is showing some signs of fracturing on the issue.
Republican presidential candidate Asa Hutchinson has called for Trump to withdraw from the 2024 race while the candidate who came in third in CPAC’s presidential straw poll, Perry Johnson, indicated he would pardon Trump. Vivek Ramaswamy said Trump’s indictment could take the deeply-divided country to the breaking point, and Nikki Haley expressed dismay that the press was again focused on Trump instead of issues at the southern border.

Billionaire Investor Moves Headquarters Out Of Blue State Over New Law

Fisher Investments announced it was relocating its headquarters from Washington state to Texas.
The announcement came after the Washington State Supreme Court ruled that a capital gains tax was constitutional.
Fisher is one of the largest employers in Clark County, Washington with around 1,800 employees working for them.
Fisher Investment is relocating its headquarters from Camas to Texas after the Washington State Supreme Court ruled Friday that a capital gains tax is constitutional.
In a one-sentence news release on Friday after the ruling, Fisher said, “In honor of the Washington State Supreme Court’s wisdom and knowledge of the law, and in recognition of whatever it may do next, Fisher Investments is immediately moving its headquarters from Washington State to Texas.”
Fisher is one of the largest employers in Clark County with around 1,800 employees. Despite moving the headquarters, Fisher told KGW it will not close its Camas office but some staff will transfer to its office in Plano, Texas. The company says it currently has 1,200 employees in Plano. Ken Fisher, the firm’s executive chairman who founded Fisher Investments in 1979, lives in Dallas.
In a 7-2 vote on Friday, the Washington State Supreme Court upheld a tax for the state’s top investment earners that passed in 2021. It collects a 7% tax on profits made from stocks, bonds and other high-end assets in excess of $250,000 for both individuals and couples.
He joined Stuart Varney to discuss why he left.
Fisher said that the move was not about tax but “about law.”

California on the left at the highest, Arkansas, Alabama, Mississippi, on the left Illinois,” Fisher told host Stuart Varney. “You can go left, right, capital gains tax isn’t so much. But Fisher argued Washington’s new “excise tax” is hiding its true identity as a capital gains “income” tax.
“The fact of the matter is, it’s an income tax. If it walks like a duck, talks like a duck, acts, flies like a duck, it’s probably a duck,” Fisher said. “But if it’s got the DNA of a duck, it is a duck. And calling a duck a kangaroo doesn’t make it one. It makes the court one.”

This is the opposite of the Arizona GOP(AZGOP), which remained nearly silent on the indictment since day one.
Following news of President Trump’s incoming indictment by corrupt Soros-funded Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg, the Arizona GOP did not speak out against the radical left’s persecution of President Trump until Kari Lake War Room publicly called them out on March 30.

After years of witch hunts against Donald Trump, some Democrats are finally realizing that they can backfire.
According to a report, Trump’s recent indictment is worrying some Democrat lawmakers.
One Democrat representative said, “I think we all have to be very careful. There is a high risk of Donald Trump becoming a victim.”
They are worried people will see what Trump’s indictment is, a politically motivated witch hunt.
House Democratic leadership even told members they don’t have to comment on the indictment at all – for those who do comment they were advised to keep the messaging basic.

Congressional Democrats are not as uniformly celebratory over the charging, arrest and arraignment of former President Donald Trump as one might expect.

To date, over 1,000 people have been arrested in connection with the unrest that occurred, with many being given unusually high sentences for the crimes they were found guilty of, while others have been denied due process and have been subjected to harsh treatment in prison while awaiting their verdict.
In one particularly egregious case, a journalist covering the protests was recently sentenced to four months of home detention and 60 hours of community service.
While prosecutors claim that he was charged with breaching the Capitol, even though he was a journalist covering the events, others have pointed to a more sinister motive.
The journalist, 37-year-old Samuel Montoya, reportedly was in possession of footage from the moments when protester Ashli Babbitt was slain by Capitol Police.
The Epoch Times Reports– A Texas man who previously worked for Alex Jones’s website Infowars has been sentenced to four months of home detention and 60 hours of community service after he filmed the breach of the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.

Samuel Montoya, 37, was employed as a video editor for Infowars when he joined other demonstrators in the Capitol on Jan. 6 as the joint session of Congress was certifying the 2020 presidential election results
According to court documents (pdf), the FBI received a tip to the National Threat Operations Center from a family member of Montoya just a week after the breach. The relative claimed to have proof that the video editor was physically inside the U.S. Capitol near 35-year-old Air Force veteran Ashli Babbitt, who was fatally shot outside the Speaker’s Lobby.
The family member told the FBI that Montoya had captured on camera the moment when Capitol Police Lt. Michael Byrd fatally shot Babbitt and that the Infowars employee had shown his relatives the footage.
At times during the footage, Montoya can be heard describing himself to others inside the Capitol Building as a “reporter” or “journalist,” police said

Madeline Brame lost her son, Army veteran Hason Correa, to a violent murder in New York. In October of 2018, the 35-year-old married father of three, who who served in Afghanistan, was allegedly beaten and stabbed to death by four assailants.
Brame has been vocal about the failures of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg in bringing the murders to justice.
The New York Post reports:
Madeline Brame, who sent the letter to Bragg and Gov. Kathy Hochul, claims the DA didn’t communicate with her before they decided to offer the plea deals, which let one of the defendants off on time served.
“You violated my rights as a crime victim to be fully informed, and to be heard,” Brame wrote in the letter sent Thursday.
“Why would you dismiss murder charges against half of the participants, when the murder and their roles were caught on video?”

At the time, authorities alleged that Mary, 41, had punched and kicked Correa before trying to pin him down while her brothers stabbed him and then chased after him when he attempted to escape.

Multiple people were shot at the Christiana Mall in Delaware Saturday, police confirmed to Fox News Digital.
Delaware State Police confirmed that three individuals were shot in the mall’s food court on Saturday evening. Authorities shared that the three victims were transported to an area hospital.
At 9:20 p.m., police confirmed that they do not have the suspect in custody.
Police have not shared if they have suspect in custody, but said that there is currently no public safety concerns at the mall and the surrounding area.Earlier that mall was closed and evacuated due to reports of shots being fired just a day before the Easter holiday. According to the Delaware State Police, authorities “are currently conducting a criminal investigation at the Christiana Mall.”
The mall, located in Newark, Delaware, is the largest shopping mall in the state, attracting many due to the state’s lack of sales tax.
