Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

    President Trump was hit with 34 FELONY COUNTS for falsification of business records, according to a leak to the Deep State’s favorite actor Michael Isikoff.

    Falsification of business records is always prosecuted as a misdemeanor but Bragg elevated the case to a felony in an effort to ‘get Trump’ and derail his presidential bid.

    President Trump didn’t come near any of these entries. I know. I was a corporate executive in charge of financial reporting of multi-million and billion-dollar entities. I oversaw all the entries for that segment of a Fortune 500 company.

      After multiple executive members of the Manhattan DA office were exposed for their political bias against President Trump, the Manhattan DA Office has completely purged their Executive Team page.

      Last week the TGP exposed Manhattan DA Chief Assistant for liking tweets that called for Americans to “dump Trump” and “drive out everything Trump represents”.

      This resulted in Reiss to delete her Twitter account.

      Yesterday TGP’s Cullen Linebarger reported Manhattan DA Jordan Stockdale had a Twitter profile that was filled with liked tweets calling for Trump to be impeached.

      After being exposed multiple times ,the Manhattan DA Office has had enough and completely scrubbed their page.

      Before the Meet Our Team page was deleted it featured brief biographies of several executives members’.

      The page started off by introducing Chief Assistant District Attorney Meg Reiss, who many believe is calling the shots inside of the Manhattan DA Office.

      Last week The Gateway Pundit did a deep dive into Reiss’s Twitter account and it was discovered she liked several anti-Trump tweets.

He might be able to get creative with a tax fraud case against the Clintons, who have potentially stiffed local coffers of millions in corporate income and other taxes.

    For today’s Wokesters, the problem with Western Civilization isn’t that it’s conservative, racist, sexist, or Eurocentric,

    As we trustees at New College of Florida prepare for our third board meeting—and the protests that will accompany it —one line of objection doesn’t make sense. We are censured for espousing a classical, Western Civ approach to general education. Only hidebound conservatives would impose that obsolete curriculum upon 21st-century students—or so the claim goes.

    Our answer to the charge: read more carefully.

    Consider the syllabus of Western Civilization. It reaches back to Homer, Athens, and Jerusalem, and proceeds through Rome, Augustine, Dante and Cervantes, Shakespeare, Pascal, and Milton. But a change sets in with the Enlightenment. A political theme begins and colors the heritage thenceforward, a theme aligned with (from our modern perspective) left-oriented critique. Think of the dominant figures and their destructive impact on conserving institutions, mainly the churches: Hobbes, Voltaire, Hume, Gibbon, Rousseau, Jefferson, the English Romantics, Hegel, Emerson, Mill, Marx, Nietzsche, and Freud, all in one way or another irreverent figures. They outnumber their conservative contemporaries by a long sight (Burke, Balzac, Dostoevsky, T. S. Eliot).

    This liberal thrust of Western Civilization used to be obvious to everyone. I remember how a lot of professors in the 1980s and 90s stared in puzzlement as Western Civ came under attack as a reactionary formation. It didn’t make sense. Every revolutionary point the campus revisionists made in that Canon Wars era came somewhere out of Marx on exploitation, Rousseau on corruption, Nietzsche on power . . . So it seemed to older professors who’d gotten their year of Western Civ back in the 50s and 60s as undergraduates and happily linked it to a lifetime of voting for Democrats.

    But there was one exception to this, a novelty in the new reforms that ran against the universalist, cosmopolitan theme of the Enlightenment: identity politics. When my late-career teachers in the 80s heard the notorious chant of the marchers at Stanford in January 1987, “Hey hey, ho ho, Western Civ has got to go!” they might have felt the very shiver that the Enlightenment figures on the syllabus felt at the remembrance of the Wars of Religion.
