This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

My son was being ornery. We were driving back from church. He is a tough nut to crack and I wasn’t even trying to crack his nuts. It was my first time to any church in some years. This time we went to a biker’s church. It is also the Trucker’s church. I was curious to see what it was about. I said back, “I think Ayn Rand had the great luxury of saying that at a time when the country was still pretty religious and cohesive. She could take the country for granted. I wonder how she would feel if she saw things today.”
The church is in an east-end, blue-collar neighborhood named Vanier. It has rough parts with plenty of crack and whore houses. The friend who had invited us looked more the biker type than did we. I don’t know what denomination the church is, but here is how it describes itself:

Bearded men were common. Once things got rolling and the band kicked in everyone seemed to know the words projected on the two screens above the stage. Tattooed, outstretched arms (both male and female) reached up to the glory of the stain-glass heavens. A chubby bald man sitting at the table in front of us stuffed a hot dog down his gullet. Somehow he did not stop chewing during the whole sermon. Not to sound like a smart-ass, but I think what he was really chewin’ on was a whole lot o’ Jesus. Everyone there was. One sour-puss old guy near me looked like a skeptic–standing with his arms crossed defiantly over his chest–until I noticed him faintly mouthing the song words as well.
There were children and youths. Blacks and whites and asians. There was a pool table set up for the kids to play. The band was pretty good–I liked the sound of the Flying-V electric guitar. Before long the place was full, and it was a good-sized building to fill up. The ceiling was at least twenty-feet high. I’m sure I just missed it but I did not see a single Mother Mary statue. Looking around at all the friendly people I quickly realized, at least here, that I was the one with the problem.
I blame it largely on the last three years. Like many of us, I have argued or shut-up my way through this unholy mess plaguing humanity. I brace myself every day for yet another government decree against my sovereignty while mindless zombies with legal and medical degrees play dance partner to this goose-stepping waltz. (Not sure about now, but Ottawa used to have the highest concentration of PhDs in the country.)
My friend didn’t know it, but I walked into that biker’s church with more proverbial body armor than a medieval knight. Never mind now all of the vaxx, mask, transgender, and climate-change apostles–this crowd was sterilized of or immune to every ounce of that bullshit. But I’ve had enough personal run-ins with Born-Agains to know I’m allergic. They are a bore. And I knew that at the first whiff of a Jeezuz beating I’d want out of there. In his admittedly eloquent sermon the preacher even said that it is not enough to testify. You must be a better witness by reaching out and spreading the Word. So it is that I have become prickly when suspecting those in my midst want to tell me, yet again, what to think.
My Jeezuz beating never came, though. They were simply good people worshipping God the way they wanted to worship. This, despite their building getting attacked and defaced last year with vulgar Antifa graffiti, and by a City that tried to punish its congregation with parking by-laws. No one told me what to think. The hot-dogs and the drinks were free. There was none of the creepy vibe I’ve picked up from so many other churches. Preacher told us how the church was growing. He said the sermon was being broadcast on-line in many Canadian cities, and in the States, too.
I imagined my son and I appeared pretty stiff and like outsiders to the people around us. I felt a bit self-conscious because of it. It’s difficult to appear relaxed while wearing chainmail armor and metal plates. Luckily the music was loud enough so when a few of my pieces fell to the floor with a clang-clang nobody heard it. I began to realize this wasn’t a hostile environment.
“Well, I’ll say one thing,” I said to my contrarian son as we arrived back home to our driveway, “those people are immune to the Hegelian dialectic. No Marxist will get above their god.”
With this he could not argue.

On Tuesday a crooked Soros-funded New York City District Attorney will fulfill his dream and indict President Donald Trump on garbage felony and misdemeanor charges in New York City. President Trump left the city he helped build for 60 years during his presidency as the far-left politicians became tyrannical and unbearable.
Today New York City is a cesspool of violence where DA Alvin Bragg bragged about releasing felons. At the same time he manufactured charges against Trump in an attempt to silence the GOP presidential front-runner and eventually jail him for a made-up crime.
This is not the first time in recent years that Democrats have disqualified popular Republican candidates.

A freight train derailed in Paradise, Montana, on Sunday, with no injuries or evacuations reported, authorities said.
At least 25 train cars derailed around 9:20 a.m. near Highway 135, leaking an unknown substance into the Clark Fork River, approximately 200 miles northwest of Bozeman, CNN reported.

Eric Adams called out Marjorie Taylor Greene after she announced she will be in New York City on Tuesday to show her support for Trump.

Former president Donald Trump has confirmed that he intends to appear before a New York court for his arraignment on charges brought against him by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg.

The court hearing for the arraignment will take place at 2:15 p.m. ET when Trump will appear before acting Supreme Court Justice Juan Merchan. This will be the first time in history that a former U.S. president faces criminal charges.
In an interview with CNN on Sunday, Trump’s lawyer Joe Tacopina said that he is yet to see the indictment as it is still sealed.

House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan threatened Sunday to defund any government agencies that engage in election interference, charging that both the FBI and the DOJ have done exactly that in their constant attempts to go after President Trump.
Appearing on Fox News, Jordan stated “The key is to get the facts on the table. We’re doing that with all kinds of issues where we think agencies have been turned against the very American people they’re supposed to serve.”
“So you get the facts on the table, and then you look at legislation,” Jordan continued, adding “Our job is we’re legislators. Our job is to pass legislation, write laws and pass legislation. So we’ll look at that.”
“We control the power of the purse, and that’s — we’re going to have to look at the appropriations process and limit funds going to some of these agencies, particularly the ones engaged in the most egregious behavior,” Jordan asserted.
“So the DOJ and the FBI?” host Maria Bartiromo interjected.
“Yeah. And what I’d really like, frankly, I’d really like for the government just to stay out of the election process,” Jordan responded, going on to document how those agencies have targeted Trump.
“2016, they spied on his campaign. 2018, the Mueller investigation. 2020 they suppressed the hunter Biden story. 2022, they raid his home 91 days before an election, and now 2024 election, the leading candidate for the presidential nomination, they indict the former president and top candidate who’s leading in every poll,” the Congressman pointed out.

Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., said Sunday that Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg must “remove all doubt” in the American judicial process after a grand jury voted Thursday to indict former President Trump following the DA’s years-long investigation.
During an appearance on CNN’s “State of the Union,” Manchin argued that the indictment risks further dividing Americans and battering their trust in the justice system.
“It’s a very sad time for America to go through what we’re going through now,” he said. “People are being divided, and they think that justice might be biased. We have to make sure that we wait to see what comes out next week, and I hope they do their job. And I’ve said this, no one’s above the law, but no one should be targeted by the law, especially through the political process. So we’ll just wait and see next week. I hope they are very thorough.”
CNN anchor Dana Bash asked Manchin to clarify whether he thinks Trump, who is the current front-runner in the 2024 Republican presidential race, is being targeted by Bragg for political reasons.

As we await the publication of all the impending indictments of former President Donald Trump by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, Americans are trying to figure out what constitutes an indictable offense for current and retired public officials.
Most legal experts, Left and Right, have noted:
1) Bragg promised in advance that he would try to find a way to indict Trump. His prior boasts are reminiscent of Stalin’s secret police enforcer Lavrentiy Beria’s quip, “Show me the man and I’ll show you the crime.” Nancy Pelosi gave the game away, when in her dotage, she muttered that Trump had a right to prove his innocence as if he is presumed guilty.
2) No former president has ever been indicted—and for good reason. Such prosecutions would be viewed as persecutions and render all former presidents veritable targets of every publicity-hungry and politically hostile local, state, or federal prosecutor. They would reduce the presidency to Third World norms. Gratuitously prosecuting former presidents would become a political tool to harm the opposing political party or to tarnish the legacy of a former president.
3) Trump is currently ahead in the polls for the Republican nomination to face Democratic incumbent Biden. And in head-to-head matchups, he outpolls Biden. For a prosecutor of the same party as the current president facing reelection to seek to destroy the viability of a likely opponent is a first in U.S. history. But again, it is now in accordance with Third World norms.
4) At least two left-leaning federal and state prosecutors previously have passed on the same evidence Bragg is now using for his indictments. They have explained that such a prosecution is infeasible because of statutes of limitations, because of a state attorney improperly appropriating the role of a federal prosecutor, and because non-disclosures agreements are a fact of life and not strictly illegal.
5) Bragg’s chief witness Michael Cohen is a felon and confessed liar, with a deep personal hatred of Donald Trump—a fact well known to all potential prosecutors.
6) The current indictment follows a long line of historic harassment of Trump, including the first incidence of two impeachments of a sitting president, the first impeachment trial of a president as a private citizen, and the first FBI armed raid of a retired president’s home, the first instance of an FBI director leaking confidential presidential conversations to the media for the purpose of appointing a special counsel to remove a president.
Such asymmetry also raises questions about the equal application of our laws as they apply to all our other officials, current and out-of-office.
Or, to put it another way: what crime did Trump not do that others did with either impunity or without being arrested? Here is a sample of 20.
1) Trump did not violate federal law, as did Hillary Clinton, by destroying federally subpoenaed emails and devices in order to hide evidence.
2) Trump did not violate federal law, as did Hillary Clinton, by sending classified government communications on her own, through an unsecured home-brewed server.
3) Trump did not violate federal law, as did Hillary Clinton, by hiring—through three paywalls—a foreign national, who is prohibited from working on presidential campaigns, to compile a dossier to smear her presidential opponent.
4) Trump did not violate federal campaign laws, as did Hillary Clinton, by hiding her payments (as “legal services”) to Christopher Steele through bookkeeping deceptions.
5) Trump did not, as did Bill Clinton, use a crony to search out a high-paying New York job for a paramour in order to influence her testimony before a special counsel.

17) Trump did not, as did Robert Mueller, claim ignorance while under oath when asked about the Steele dossier and Fusion GPS, the catalysts for Mueller’s own investigation.
18) Trump did not, as did private citizen and former secretary of state John Kerry, meet clandestinely while out of office with Iranian officials to help them resist current U.S. policy toward Iran—or what the Boston Globe characterized as “unusual shadow diplomacy” to “apply pressure on the Trump administration from the outside.”
19) Trump did not, as did the FBI and CIA, pay clandestine money to Twitter to monitor and smother news stories deemed unhelpful to their agendas.
20) Trump did not, as did then-Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, whip up a mob at the doors of the Supreme Court by threatening two sitting justices by name to intimidate them concerning an impending judicial ruling: “I want to tell you Gorsuch, I want to tell you Kavanaugh: You have released the whirlwind, and you will pay the price. You won’t know what hit you.”
In subsequent months, mobs of protestors swarmed the private homes of these two named justices to influence their decisions, a federal crime that was ignored by Attorney General Merrick Garland, but not by a self-confessed, potential assassin of Justice Brett Kavanaugh who later turned up in the neighborhood.
What are we to make of these radical disparate applications of laws and protocols? The Left repeatedly breaks laws and long-held customs with impunity by weaponizing federal offices and bureaus, whether defined in the legal sphere by mostly exempting 120 days of mass rioting, looting, arson, mayhem, and lethal violence in the summer of 2020, or procedurally by denying the House minority leader the right to nominate his party members to committees, or ceremonially having the speaker of the House tear up the presidential State-of-the-Union Address on national television.
By any fair application of past tradition and the law, Joe Biden and Alejandro Mayorkas should be impeached for their deliberate efforts to subvert U.S. immigration law for political purposes. By any just measure, Joe Biden should be the target of a special counsel’s investigation to ascertain how and why the Biden family received hidden funds from foreign governments and whether Biden himself paid taxes on such large sums.
It is the revolutionary Left that attacks institutions deemed unhelpful for its current political agenda—one that rarely warrants 50 percent public approval—whether that effort is defined by threats of ending the filibuster, scrapping the Electoral College, adding two more states, packing the court, or radically changing balloting laws and customs to turn elections into a 70 percent no-show of voters on Election Day.
All of the above is predicated on a simple premise: Were the opposition to match tit-for-tat these Democratic means, then the republic would quickly descend into a spiral of illegality and chaos analogous to what ended the late Roman Republic. That fact is well known to the new hard-left Democratic Party. So it has assumed the role of the spoiled teen who feels he has a blank check of lawless behavior that his parents would not dare emulate, given that for adults to do so would destroy the family.
In other words, the Left is saying to America something along the following lines, “We are so morally superior to you that we can and must employ any means necessary to achieve our unpopular political ends. But you cannot respond in kind or deter us by mimicking our own tactics, because should both parties do so, the resulting disorder would undermine the republic. Manhattan DA Fires Back at House GOP After Document Demands; Trump Blasts Judge ‘Assigned to My Witch Hunt Case’

In a letter sent to three top House Republican chairmen Friday, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s office accused GOP lawmakers of engaging in “unlawful political interference” of its ongoing case against former President Donald Trump.
Following reports of Trump’s potential indictment earlier this month, the Republican-led House Judiciary and Oversight committees sent a letter to Bragg demanding that he turn over documents related to his Trump investigation and testify before Congress.
Leslie B. Dubeck, the general counsel for Bragg’s office, fired back at the GOP’s “baseless and inflammatory allegations that our investigation is politically motivated.”
“The Committees’ attempted interference with an ongoing state criminal investigation — and now prosecution — is an unprecedented and illegal incursion on New York’s sovereign interests,” Dubeck wrote. “We will not be intimidated by attempts to undermine the justice process, nor will we let baseless accusations deter us from fairly applying the law.”
Bragg has been investigating Trump’s alleged “hush money” payment of $130,000 to adult film star Stormy Daniels in 2016. Trump has denied allegations that he had an affair with Daniels in 2006, and falsified business records to keep the payment concealed.
A Manhattan grand jury on Thursday voted to indict Trump on unspecified charges related to the case.
House Oversight and Reform Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) told Fox News that he and Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), the Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, are concerned about potential coordination between Merrick Garland’s Justice Department and “all these different entities that are going after Trump.”
“They are doing everything in their ability to create a narrative that would hurt Donald Trump,” Comer added.
Dozens of conservative lawmakers and pundits have condemned the unprecedented action against the former president.
“This is a dark moment in the history of our Nation,” wrote Arizona Republican Kari Lake on social media. “The Radical Left and their weaponized criminal justice system have crossed all legal & ethical lines in an attempt to destroy the 45th & 47th President of the United State of America Donald J. Trump. It only makes him stronger.”
“Real America knows this is all a sham,” said Rep. Troy Nehls (R-Texas).
House Majority Leader Steve Scalise called the indictment “outrageous.”
“The sham New York indictment of President Donald Trump is one of the clearest examples of extremist Democrats weaponizing government to attack their political opponents,” Scalise wrote.
House Speaker Kevin McCarthy also spoke out against the prosecution on Twitter Thursday after the indictment was made public.
“Alvin Bragg has irreparably damaged our country in an attempt to interfere in our Presidential election,” McCarthy wrote. “As he routinely frees violent criminals to terrorize the public, he weaponized our sacred system of justice against President Donald Trump. The American people will not tolerate this injustice, and the House of Representatives will hold Alvin Bragg and his unprecedented abuse of power to account.”
Thursday night on Fox News’ Hannity, George Washington University Law Professor Jonathan Turley said that if the indictment follows the dubious legal theories being talked about in the case, it is “a raw political prosecution.”
Harvard Law School Professor Emeritus Alan Dershowitz also blasted the indictment in a telephone interview with The Epoch Times. “In 60 years of practice, this is the worst case of prosecutorial abuse I have ever seen,” Dershowitz said.
Trump lashed out at the judge in the case Friday on his platform Truth Social.
“The Judge ‘assigned’ to my Witch Hunt Case, a ‘Case’ that has NEVER BEEN CHARGED BEFORE, HATES ME. His name is Juan Manuel Marchan, was hand picked by Bragg & the Prosecutors, & is the same person who “railroaded” my 75 year old former CFO, Allen Weisselberg, to take a “plea” deal (Plead GUILTY, even if you are not, 90 DAYS, fight us in Court, 10 years (life!) in jail. He strong armed Allen, which a judge is not allowed to do, & treated my companies, which didn’t “plead,” VICIOUSLY. APPEALING!” Trump wrote.
“They only brought this Fake, Corrupt, and Disgraceful Charge against me because I stand with the American People, and they know that I cannot get a fair trial in New York!” Trump said in a separate post.
In a statement, the former president predicted that the prosecution will “backfire massively” on Democrats.
“I believe this Witch-Hunt will backfire massively on Joe Biden. The American people realize exactly what the Radical Left Democrats are doing here. Everyone can see it. So our Movement, and our Party – united and strong—will first defeat Alvin Bragg, and then we will defeat Joe Biden, and we are going to throw every last one of these Crooked Democrats out of office so we can MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” Trump said.
Biden and the White House, meanwhile, are keeping mum on the Trump indictment.
In a tweet Thursday, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis vowed that his administration would not cooperate with Bragg’s efforts to extradite Trump to New York.
“Florida will not assist in an extradition request given the questionable circumstances at issue with this Soros-backed Manhattan prosecutor and his political agenda,” DeSantis wrote in a statement condemning the indictment.
Trump, however, is planning to turn himself in next week, according to Fox News.
A source told Fox News Digital that Bragg “had requested Trump’s surrender to the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office by Friday—the day after the indictment—but that timeline was extended due to arrangements needed to be made by Secret Service.”
The source said Trump will “most likely” surrender on Tuesday of Holy Week.

Trump’s Secret Service agents this Friday will testify before a DC grand jury in Special Counsel Jack Smith’s witch hunt investigation into classified documents stored at Mar-a-Lago.
FBI agents descended on Trump’s Florida residence last summer looking for presidential records lawfully stored at the former president’s home.
The feds seized classified documents stored at Mar-a-Lago and thoroughly searched the property after the Justice Department issued Trump a subpoena in May to return so-called classified records.
It is unclear how many Secret Service agents will be testifying this week.

Several U.S. Secret Service agents connected to former President Trump have been subpoenaed and are expected to testify before a Washington, D.C., grand jury likely on Friday this week.

A source familiar with the probe did not give a definitive number of agents involved, but confirmed the April 7 scheduled testimony.

The international Group of Seven (G7) – an intergovernmental political forum consisting of Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States – agreed on a price cap for Russian oil on December 3, 2022: $60 per barrel.
However, one of the United States’ closest Asian allies is now purchasing Russian oil at prices above the cap, breaking with the sanctions imposed by US allies.
Japan’s crude imports were exempted from the $60/barrel cap by the participating countries until September. Japan already purchased about 748,000 barrels of Russian crude in the first two months of this year at a price of about $70 per barrel.
“Japan got the U.S. to agree to the exception, saying it needed it to ensure access to Russian energy. The concession shows Japan’s reliance on Russia for fossil fuels, which analysts said contributed to a hesitancy in Tokyo to back Ukraine more fully in its war with Russia,” the Wall Street Journal reported.

One year ago, the Senate Intelligence Committee hosted officials from the U.S. National Counterintelligence and Security Center (NCSC), an entity within the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (DNI), the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), to advise and warn a bi-partisan group of state and local officials about the nature, risks, and escalation of PRC and CCP influence operations.

Members of a federal team tasked with assessing potential health impacts of the East Palestine, Ohio, train derailment experienced brief illnesses in early March, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention confirmed in a statement Friday.
Seven members of the 15-person Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry team in the Ohio town “reported symptoms, including sore throat, headache, coughing and nausea,” per the CDC. The team, dispatched to conduct an Assessment of Chemical Exposure following the Feb. 3 derailment of a Norfolk Southern train carrying hazardous chemicals, had arrived in mid-February.
The illnesses did not last long, with most of the seven feeling better “later that same afternoon, and everyone resumed work on survey data collection within 24 hours” the CDC said. “Impacted team members have not reported ongoing health effects.”

This passion of Jesus Christ is a perfect example of going after a man in search of a crime just in order to get rid of the man, rather than going after a crime in search of the people who did it. And that’s why this indictment of President Trump turns America upside down because it’s an inversion of what the system of justice is supposed to be. The Passion of Christ that we honor and celebrate during these days is prosecutorial misconduct. It is a weaponization of the processes that in themselves are legitimate. But here they’re being used against an enemy. So this is not to compare Jesus Christ with Donald Trump, but to compare the tactics of their enemies.

Per this report from The Epoch Times, Pope has filed a motion to remove court seal on video footage from the January 6 th “Incident” in an effort to provide him a case. However, it appears a Federal prosecutor is trying to prevent the footage from coming to light – and has a very peculiar reason for it.
According to said prosecutor, three D.C. Metropolitan Police Department undercover officers acted as provocateurs, setting up shop on the northwest steps of the Capitol. Per the report, they actually egged on people to “go join ‘em” in terms of working alongside the other people at the Capitol.

The Wyoming Freedom Caucus revealed that Democratic State Rep. Karlee Provenza posted a meme on Instagram Saturday threatening opponents of the pro-trans movement. This violent threat comes just days after “transgender” terrorist Audrey Hale murdered six people, including three children, in a Christian school shooting in Nashville.
The meme shows an older woman, named “Auntie Fa” in a reference to Antifa, holding a rifle. The full message reads “Auntie Fa Says Protect Trans Folks Against Fascists & Bigots.”
