  1. Mar-a-Lago, FL – President Donald J. Trump raised over $4 million in the 24 hours following Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s unprecedented political persecution of the President, and blatant interference in the 2024 election against the leading Republican presidential candidate.

This incredible surge of grassroots contributions confirms that the American people see the indictment of President Trump as a disgraceful weaponization of our justice system by a Soros-funded prosecutor.

Most notably, over 25% of donations came from first-time donors to the Trump Campaign, further solidifying President Trump’s status as the clear frontrunner in the Republican primary.

Eric Trump joined FOX and Friends Weekend on Saturday morning to discuss the latest political assault on his father, President Donald Trump.

Eric Trump continues to be one of President Trump’s greatest allies and spokesmen. Like his father, Eric is not afraid to speak the uncensored truth to the American public. Trump pointed out how this is the latest political assault by the corrupt Democrat Party against his father. They tried to destroy Donald Trump before he entered office, they tried to take him out with bogus impeachments, and now they are attempting to arrest and silence President Trump based on the testimony of a stripper and disgraced lawywer who had their case kicked out of at least three court rooms already. The last time TGP reported on Stormy Daniels before this latest fiasco was when she was ordered to pay President Trump $300,000 in court costs for pushing a fraudulent case against him. Now, Soros-funded DA Alvin Bragg is using Stormy again to indict the most popular president in US history.

    • They’ve Made a Foolish, Foolish Decision Which Will Cause the Case to be Thrown Out” – Attorney Alan Dershowitz Says Trump Attorneys Can Appeal Bogus Soros-Backed Bragg Indictment Immediately on Multiple Grounds

In Get Trump: The Threat to Civil Liberties, Due Process, and Our Constitutional Rule of Law, Alan Dershowitz—#1 New York Times bestselling author and one of America’s most respected legal scholars—analyses the unremitting efforts by political opponents of Donald Trump to “get” him—to stop him from running in 2024—at any cost.

Alan Dershowitz has been called “one of the most prominent and consistent defenders of civil liberties in America” by Politico and “the nation’s most peripatetic civil liberties lawyer and one of its most distinguished defenders of individual rights” by Newsweek.

Get Trump makes clear that unconstitutional efforts to stop Trump from retaking the presidency challenge the very foundations of our liberty: due process, right to counsel, and free speech. Those who justify these dangerous departures from the rule of law argue that the threat posed by a second Trump presidency is “different” and “immediate,” while the departures from constitutional norms are longer term and more abstract.

Dershowitz explains that defenders of Trump’s constitutional rights—even those like him who oppose Trump politically—are sought to be silenced; their free speech rights attacked, their integrity questioned, and their careers threatened. Much of the media substitutes advocacy against Trump for objective reporting, while many in academia petition and propagandize against rights they previously valued—all in the interest of getting Trump.

The essence of justice is that it must be equally applicable to all, Dershowitz notes. No one is above the law but digging to find crimes in order to influence an election does not constitute the equal application of the law. In order to assure equal application in comparable situations, he proposes two criteria for indicting a likely candidate of the opposing party: the Richard Nixon standard and the Hillary Clinton standard—and most recently, the Joe Biden standard.

Winsome Sears is not backing down.

During an appearance on Bill Maher’s show, she destroyed the left’s narrative on trans, drag queens, and parenting.

      WATCH (partial transcript below)

      From the video above:

“James Kirchick: If you’ve noticed, They are misgendering and dead naming the murderer. They are referring to the murderer by their given name and not their chosen name. And referring to her as a woman as opposed to what her identity was as a man. Which is not the way the media usually does these things. They are usually very particular about the subjective sense of gender identity and respecting that. If someone thinks they are a man then they are a man. But in this case they are not doing that.

Winsome Sears: Hang on you know what, This person murdered 6 people. I don’t really care who you say you are. You murdered six people and three of them were children. You don’t get a say. Well, she’s dead now so. You don’t get a say in telling us who you are and what you are about. You killed six people and that’s what really matters.

Bill Maher: Let’s take her out of this and talk about the issue without the murderer.

Winsome Sears: Well you brought it up so now we are onto something else. Here is the thing. I’m a parent, I’m a parent all day, I get to decide what happens in my child’s life. Not you, not the government, not anybody, I don’t co-parent. I had this child, I’m responsible for this child, and if anything happens to little johnny you’re calling me right? As you should. So, what I’m saying now is, if I don’t want my child given lap dances at school by a drag queen I don’t want it done, that’s happening.

James Kirchick: Do you think the state should have the right to interfere?

Winsome Sears: I’m talking about as a parent. I’m a parent, forget the state I’m a parent. This is my child, I will make a decision about what happens with my child.

Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton this week called for charges against Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer and other leftist politicians.

“All bets are off,” Tom Fitton said after a Manhattan grand jury voted to indict President Trump on non crimes.

Soros-backed Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg brought criminal charges against President Trump to derail his 2024 bid for the White House.

The indictment is currently under seal, however, according to a leak to CNN, President Trump was hit with 34 counts related to business fraud.

President Trump is facing at least one felony charge in the Stormy Daniels ‘hush payment’ case, according to a leak to the Associate Press.

Donald Trump is the first ex-president in US history to be charged with crimes.

Judicial Watch boss Tom Fitton said it’s time for grand jury indictments of Biden and his family, Pelosi and other leftist politicians.

Esteemed Harvard Law Professor Alan Dershowitz joined Steve Bannon on The War Room on Saturday to discuss Alvin Brigg’s indictment against President Trump. The Soros-funded New York City DA announced charges against Trump last week two days after bank statements were released showing the Biden Crime Family were being paid by China for selling their influence.

Alan Dershowitz: I think any first-year law student could get this dismissed in front of any objective judge. Start with the misdemeanor. There is no misdemeanor here.

  2. Authorities in Iran have been making clear their determination to enforce the compulsory hijab on women.

It comes after months of protests demanding an end to the restriction.

A hardline Iranian MP has issued an ultimatum to the judiciary to come up with measures to put a stop to women flouting the rules on headscarves, within the next 48 hours.

The mass protests that erupted across Iran in September have largely been quelled for now by brute force.

But some women continue to defy the rules on wearing a mandatory headscarf in public. Videos and pictures posted online show the upswell of frustration and anger with the restrictions is still a potent force in Iranian society.

  3. Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg confirmed he used federal funds in his investigation into Trump’s so-called ‘hush payment’ to porn star Stormy Daniels.

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan, House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer and House Administration Committee Chair Bryan Steil last week launched an investigation into DA Alvin Bragg, accusing him of abusing his power.

Last Monday the three House GOP lawmakers sent Bragg a letter demanding testimony and documents related to his investigation into the ‘hush payment’ after Trump said his arrest was imminent.

Bragg fired off a nasty reply letter earlier this week – and the House Republicans hit back again in their relentless quest to hold Bragg accountable.

Alvin Bragg replied to the House Republicans again on Friday.

As TGP’s Kristinn Taylor reported, Bragg on Friday pushed back against House Republicans’ efforts to investigate his prosecution of President Trump with a scathing letter.

Alvin Bragg accused House Republicans of collaborating with Trump to “vilify” prosecutors and judges.

The Soros-backed Manhattan DA also admitted his office indeed used federal funds in his bogus investigation into Trump.

Turncoat Pence and Pelosi Get What They Want – Pence’s Protection from His Acts with Congress But Not from His Acts with President Trump
    By Joe Hoft Apr. 1, 2023 11:00 am17 Comments

Overtly pious Mike Pence, President Trump’s turncoat VP, received the request he asked for from the courts this past week. He is now protected from his actions related to Congress on Jan 6, but not from his actions around President Trump as VP.

This is all part of the setup of President Trump on Jan 6. Trump’s VP Pence got what he wanted.

Far-left Politico shared on a court’s ruling this past week.

A federal judge’s secret order on Tuesday requiring Mike Pence to testify about aspects of Donald Trump’s bid to subvert the 2020 election was also an unprecedented ruling about the vice presidency itself.

It is the first time in U.S. history that a federal judge has concluded that vice presidents — like presidents — are entitled to a form of immunity from prying investigators.

But unlike presidents, who draw all their power from the executive branch, vice presidents get their immunity from Congress, Chief U.S. District Court Judge James Boasberg ruled. That’s because vice presidents — while commonly perceived as mere agents of the president — are constitutionally required to serve as president of the Senate. And officers of Congress, like lawmakers and their aides, enjoy immunity rooted in a provision of the Constitution known as the “speech or debate” clause, meant to safeguard Congress from law enforcement inquiries related to their official duties.

The vice president’s role as Senate president has become almost entirely ceremonial, with the occasional exception of casting tie-breaking votes and — every four years — presiding over the count of electoral votes after a presidential election. Vice presidents have long suggested they should enjoy the legal protections afforded to Congress, but Boasberg’s ruling is the first time a court has extended so-called speech-or-debate immunity to the vice presidency.

Experts say the ruling — which remains under seal but was described to POLITICO by a person familiar with its contours — is an important foray into thorny, unresolved questions about vice presidential power.

For context, Boesberg is an Obama Judge. He also oversees the DC court full of corrupt Obama judges. This is why the DC court, along with courts in other big cities, has gone to hell. Obama judges don’t rule on the law, they rule based on far-left political beliefs.

What is the rationale to keep this ruling under wraps? Clearly, this Obama judge wants to hide something, a common corrupt tactic of corrupt Obama judges.

One Nasty Deep State NYT reporter was happy with Boesberg’s ruling:

Of course, President Trump committed no crimes but this doesn’t stop the corrupt media from fomenting the possibility that he has. The corrupt Deep State has tried since the Obama administration to attach anything criminal to his record. It hasn’t worked.

What this article notes is that Pence didn’t fight for executive privilege for his actions with President Trump, only for his actions with Pelosi, which the Obama judge granted.

Boesberg’s hidden ruling reportedly prevents Pence from disclosing his actions with Pelosi and the Deep State on Jan 6. This will protect Pence and the Deep State.

As reported previously, in order to prevent any motions to not certify the 2020 Election on Jan 6, Congress needed a crisis. This crisis then placed Congress into an emergency session preventing any motions to vote to not certify results in any states that day.

Pence was part of this enterprise because it was necessary that he removed himself from his position over the Senate that day so the emergency session could take effect.

    Since Pence doesn’t have to

New Report on Motive of 2017 Las Vegas Shooter is Raising Eyebrows
    By Mike LaChance Apr. 1, 2023 9:15 am523 Comments

In 2017, Stephen Paddock committed the worst mass shooting in U.S. history from his hotel room at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.

The shooting has been shrouded in mystery for years. Details have been scarce and a motive has never been revealed, until now. The FBI, too busy with other things, failed to announce a motive.

A new motive theory is being advanced by several media outlets, but it’s raising eyebrows because it doesn’t sound plausible at all.

    Does anyone believe this?

    From NBC News:

Las Vegas shooter was upset over how casinos treated him, new FBI documents say

The high-stakes gambler who carried out the deadliest mass shooting in modern America, killing 60 and injuring hundreds more in Las Vegas, was apparently angry over how the casinos were treating him despite his high-roller status, according to a fellow gambler.

An FBI interview with the gunman’s fellow gambler is detailed in hundreds of pages of documents made public this week. The gambler, whose name is redacted in the documents, said he believed the stress could have easily caused gunman Stephen Paddock “to snap.” Paddock, 64, was a video poker player who relied on gambling as his main source of income.

The revelation comes years after the FBI in Las Vegas and the local police department concluded their investigations without a definitive motive, although both agencies said Paddock burned through more than $1.5 million, became obsessed with guns, and distanced himself from his girlfriend and family in the months leading up to the massacre.

The Associated Press is pushing the same line:

It has been over five years and this is what they’ve come up with as a motive?

    Again, does anyone believe this?

    What is the FBI hiding?

  11. CBC – Syphilis cases in babies skyrocket in Canada amid health-care failures

Rate rising faster than in U.S., Europe, driven by methamphetamine use, roadblocks to care

The number of babies born with syphilis in Canada is rising at a far faster rate than recorded in the United States or Europe, an increase public health experts said is driven by increased methamphetamine use and lack of access to the public health system for Indigenous people.

While syphilis has made a global resurgence over the last five years, Canada is an outlier among wealthy nations in its rate of increase — 13-fold over five years, according to Health Canada. The incidence of babies born with syphilis reached 26 per 100,000 live births in 2021, the most recent year available, up from two in 2017, according to the Health Canada data.

That total is on track to increase further in 2022, according to the preliminary government data obtained by Reuters.

Babies with congenital syphilis are at higher risk of low birth weight, bone malformations and sensory difficulties, according to the World Health Organization (WHO).

Syphilis in pregnancy is the second-leading cause of stillbirth worldwide, the WHO said.

Yet congenital syphilis is easily preventable if an infected person gets access to penicillin during their pregnancy.

Among the G7 group of wealthier nations for which data is available, only the United States had a higher incidence of syphilis at birth: 74 per 100,000 live births in 2021, triple the rate in 2017, according to preliminary figures from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

There were 2,677 cases of congenital syphilis in the U.S. in 2021 for a population of 332 million, according to preliminary CDC data. Canada had 96 cases for a population of 38 million, according to Health Canada.

People experiencing poverty, homelessness and drug use, and those with inadequate access to the health system, are more likely to contract syphilis through unsafe sex and pass it to their babies, public health researchers said.

“In high-income countries you see it in pockets of disadvantaged populations,” said Teodora Elvira Wi, who works in the WHO’s HIV, hepatitis and sexually transmitted infection program.

    “It’s a marker of inequality. It’s a marker of low-quality prenatal care.”

Lack of support for Indigenous communities
What sets Canada apart are Indigenous populations who experience discrimination and often have poor access to health and social services, said Sean Rourke, a scientist with the Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto, who focuses on prevention of sexually transmitted disease.

“It’s just the whole system, and all the things that we’ve done in bad ways not to support Indigenous communities,” he said.

Health Canada told Reuters it has dispatched epidemiologists to help provinces contain the increase in congenital syphilis. Spokesperson Joshua Coke said the federal government is expanding testing and treatment access in Indigenous communities.

Tessa, an Indigenous 28-year-old woman who asked to be identified only by her middle name, said she had a years-long crystal meth addiction and was homeless when she got pregnant in Saskatoon.

“I would be walking down the street just crying: ‘Why am I living like this?'” she told Reuters.

She said she received no prenatal care until she went into labour in November, which is when she tested positive for HIV and syphilis during a routine test.

Her daughter was prescribed a 10-day course of antibiotics, administered by IV, and is now healthy, Tessa said. But she still thinks about the difficulties she experienced in accessing prenatal care.

“Having transportation, maybe, and a place to live, and being sober, probably would have helped, big time,” she said.

Susanne Nicolay, nurse lead at Wellness Wheel clinic in Regina, which serves Indigenous and vulnerable populations, said providers needed to do more to expand access to health care.

“The system always talks about patients that are hard to reach. But I think it’s health providers that are hard to reach,” she said.

    ‘Multiple failures’
A lot needs to go wrong for a baby to be born with syphilis, said Jared Bullard, a Manitoba pediatrician who has been researching babies born with syphilis since 2021 in an ongoing study for the Public Health Agency of Canada.

“It’s pointing at multiple failures along the path,” he said.

In Canada, the rise in babies born with syphilis is concentrated in the three Prairie provinces: Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta. Prairie provinces have higher crystal meth use and remote and Indigenous populations who may have trouble accessing health care, Bullard said.

Manitoba recorded the highest rate, with about 371 cases per 100,000 live births in 2021.

The province said in an emailed statement that it is expanding training for health-care providers in addressing sexually transmitted infections, encouraging frequent testing and early treatment. It is digitizing its records of STIs.

Saskatchewan has launched a public awareness campaign urging people to practise safe sex and get tested, said Dale Hunter, a spokesperson for the provincial health ministry. The province had an incidence of 185 cases of congenital syphilis per 100,00 live births in 2021.

Alberta said women aged 15-29 made up more than half of what it called a “significant increase” in syphilis rates. “The reasons for the increase are not fully known, but it is likely that a variety of factors have contributed to this rise,” said Alberta Health Services spokesperson James Wood.

In preliminary results of a study of 165 infants exposed to syphilis, Bullard and fellow pediatrician Carsten Krueger found at least two-thirds were born to women reporting a history of substance abuse.

About 45 per cent of the women identified as Indigenous and another 40 per cent had no ethnicity recorded. Indigenous people make up about five per cent of the Canadian population, according to census data.

About a quarter of the people in the study did not get tested because they got no prenatal care; about one-fifth of those who tested positive did not get treated. Bullard said he has also seen people get treated early in pregnancy and then get re-infected.

Public health researchers and clinicians said the rates of congenital syphilis began increasing before the pandemic and worsened as public health agencies diverted resources to COVID-19 testing and other pandemic-related health measures.

“All of the social circumstances that contributed to this have just gotten worse over the pandemic,” said Ameeta Singh, an infectious diseases specialist with an HIV/STI practice in Edmonton.

This month, Health Canada approved a syphilis and HIV test that can provide results in less than a minute, allowing providers to begin treatment right away.

Some public health researchers and providers are urging the Canadian government to buy and distribute the tests.

“We probably need a million tests to get out there around the country,” Rourke said. “The solution’s right in front of us.”

Health Canada did not respond when asked about purchasing test kits.

  12. POLL: Majority of Americans Now Think a College Degree isn’t Worth the Cost
    By Mike LaChance Apr. 1, 2023 1:25 pm172 Comments

People are starting to think it’s just not worth it and this is great news.

Colleges and universities have always been liberal, but in recent years they have become little more than left-wing indoctrination factories.

Conservative speakers on college campuses are regularly shouted down by unhinged mobs of student activists who don’t respect or even believe in free speech.

In addition to this, the cost of a college degree has skyrocketed in recent decades.

New poll shows that majority of Americans now think college degrees are not worth the cost: ‘Wake-up call’

According to a new Wall Street Journal-NORC poll, more than half of Americans don’t believe a college degree is worth the money anymore.

The survey conducted by the outlet and the University of Chicago’s NORC, a nonpartisan research organization, found that 56% of all Americans viewed getting a college degree as a bad investment.

A similar poll in 2017 revealed that only 47% of Americans balked at the idea of getting a college degree, and one done in 2013 had the disapproval rate at 40%.

They have already gone after gas stoves, gas cars, and even air conditioners. Now they are coming after incandescent light bulbs.

Anything that’s cheap, convenient, and liked by millions of Americans lands on their radar eventually. There is just no end to it.

Biden admin moving forward with light bulb bans in coming weeks

The Biden administration is preparing to implement a sweeping nationwide ban on commonly used light bulbs as part of its energy efficiency and climate agenda.

The regulations, which prohibit retailers from selling incandescent light bulbs, were finalized by the Department of Energy (DOE) in April 2022 and are slated to go into effect on Aug. 1, 2023. The DOE will begin full enforcement of the ban on that date, but it has already urged retailers to begin transitioning away from the light bulb type and, in recent months, begun issuing warning notices to companies.

“The lighting industry is already embracing more energy efficient products, and this measure will accelerate progress to deliver the best products to American consumers and build a better and brighter future,” Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm said last year.

According to the DOE announcement, the regulations will save consumers

Conservatives call for charges against Biden after Trump indictment

WASHINGTON — Thursday’s indictment of former President Donald Trump has set a precedent enabling Republican prosecutors to seek criminal charges against President Biden, conservative legal experts told The Post Friday.

“All bets are off. You can expect grand jury indictments of leftist politicians like Biden, [former House Speaker Nancy] Pelosi and [Senate Majority Leader Chuck] Schumer as surely as night follows day,” said Tom Fitton, president of the conservative legal group Judicial Watch.

“You can be sure that there are prosecutors across Florida and Texas right now who are looking for a state law hook into the Biden family,” he added. “And if they’re not, they’re not doing their jobs.”

Trump, 76, is the first former president to face criminal charges as he seeks a 2024 rematch against Biden. The sealed indictment reportedly stems from a novel document-falsification theory pushed by Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg regarding Trump’s 2016 hush-money payment to porn star Stormy Daniels.

Republican prosecutors are reportedly looking into filing charges against Joe Biden.

“Republicans need to learn how to take off the gloves and put on the brass knuckles and break glass jaws — politically and legally, not physically,” Mike Davis, a former chief counsel for nominations on the Senate Judiciary Committee and president of the Article III Project, told The Post.

“If New York can turn a routine settlement of a business dispute seven years ago into a felony, I think our Republican AGs and DAs should get creative,” added Davis, who briefly worked as a federal prosecutor before clerking for Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch. “Two wrongs don’t make it right, but it makes it even.

“You just need probable cause. A grand jury can indict a ham sandwich. We just saw that in New York. And the Bidens actually committed real crimes. These are real crimes that the Bidens committed. There is smoking gun evidence that the Bidens were corruptly and illegally on Chinese and Ukrainian oligarchs’ payrolls.”

The recognition of the likely fallout from the Trump charges — and the sea change to US legal norms — spanned the political spectrum.

“The Republicans will be furiously seeking revenge and may try to pin Biden with something,” predicted left-wing social commentator Noam Chomsky, a professor emeritus at MIT, though the 94-year-old added that some cases — such as war crimes charges — would still be considered off-limits to partisans.

Trump ally Joe Arpaio, the former sheriff of Maricopa County, Ariz., said he believes the legal system has a “double standard” against Republicans such as Trump, who in 2017 gave his first pardon to the controversial lawman in a criminal contempt case.

    Donald Trump
A NYC grand jury voted to indict Trump, Manhattan DA Bragg announced Thursday.

“The criminal justice system is not always fair, believe me, and this is an example,” Arpaio said.

“This sets a little precedent,” said the ex-sheriff of America’s fourth-most-populous county. “Now the word is out that you can go and indict an ex-president and a current president and they opened another door. But now everybody’s going to flex their muscles and use this case. So now we’re gonna threaten all presidents or ex presidents.”

Arpaio predicted that prosecutors wouldn’t actually bring a case against any president or ex-president “unless his name is Donald Trump,” but said the he could imagine finding enough evidence to charge Biden or even former President Barack Obama, whose Hawaii birth certificate Arpaio notoriously claimed was a “computer-generated forgery.”

Davis, who oversaw federal judicial and prosecutor nominations on the Senate Judiciary Committee between 2017 and 2019, laid out specific ideas for a Biden prosecution.

“I understand the Bidens may have had some oil and gas deals that deal with Texas. I think maybe Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton should start looking at this long and hard … and Louisiana with [Republican state Attorney General Jeff] Landry,” Davis said.

“Paxton and Landry, they need to look at this,” he added. “And if you can find a conspiracy and any of the overt acts of a conspiracy are committed in any of those states, you can bring charges.”

    Stormy Daniels
Trump reportedly paid Stormy Daniels $130,000 to not speak about their affair.

An October 2017 email from first son Hunter Biden’s laptop identifies Joe Biden as a participant in a call about Chinese energy company CEFC’s attempt to purchase US natural gas in an effort that appears to have had corporate links to both Louisiana and Texas.

Trump is expected to present himself for arrest and arraignment next week in Manhattan. Additional criminal charges could follow as a result of an investigation by Special Counsel Jack Smith of the former president’s alleged mishandling of classified records after leaving office, as well as investigations of his efforts to challenge the results of the 2020 election.

Trump facing more legal woes in wake of hush money indictment
Biden, 80, is preparing to launch a re-election campaign as early as next month and, like Trump, faces a federal special counsel investigation of his apparent mishandling of classified records at his Delaware home and post-vice presidency DC office amid GOP congressional investigations of his role in his son Hunter and brother James Biden’s international business dealings.

Hunter Biden reportedly is under criminal investigation by the US attorney’s office in Delaware for possible tax fraud, illegal foreign lobbying, money laundering and lying about his drug use on a gun-purchase form.

Hunter wrote in documents retrieved from his abandoned laptop that he paid as much as “half” of his income to his father, whom he often involved in his business relationships during and after his vice presidency.

“You’re looking at the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, bribery, tax evasion, gun charges, conspiracy, obstruction, espionage with using stolen classified records from the Obama White House for his Ukrainian and Chinese deals,” Davis said of potential charges against Joe Biden.

“Biden was broke when he was a senator. He was broke when he left. And all of a sudden he’s very wealthy. It’s not because of his brilliance or his charm. How did he make that money?”

    Hunter Biden
Hunter Biden reportedly is under criminal investigation by the US attorney’s office in Delaware.

The Post exclusively reported in October 2020 that Hunter’s laptop included a May 2017 email from associate James Gilliar proposing that the “big guy” get 10% of proceeds from the partnership with CEFC. A whistleblower, former Hunter Biden associate Tony Bobulinski, says that he met with Joe Biden the same month to discuss the CEFC arrangement and both Bobulinski and Gilliar have identified Joe Biden as “the big guy.”

Hunter and James Biden ultimately received at least $4.8 million in 2017 and 2018 from CEFC — a since-defunct arm of Beijing’s foreign-influence “Belt and Road” initiative — according to the Washington Post’s review of laptop records.

Joe Biden also met as vice president with his relatives’ associates from Mexico, Kazakhstan, Russia and Ukraine — and Hunter’s boss from a different Chinese business venture called BHR Partners.

How Trump could reap $100M windfall from Stormy Daniels indictment

“Maybe these states have a long-arm statute when you’re dealing with foreign corruption. Who knows? Maybe New York and Florida and places like that can start looking into this,” Davis said before suggesting state tax fraud charges as another possible avenue.

“If you are making money in a state and you’re liable for state taxes, you’re not paying them — sure,” he said. “These Republican state attorneys general and Republican DAs and Republican prosecutors need to make sure that any and all allegations against the Bidens get a full and fair consideration.”

The Manhattan indictment against Trump is expected to include charges for falsifying business records linked to the 2016 payment to Daniels, whom Trump says was extorting him, and another payment the same year to former Playboy model Karen McDougal. That charge ordinarily is a state misdemeanor with a two-year statute of limitations, but under Bragg’s reported theory it would be elevated into a felony by alleging it was done in commission of a federal campaign finance violation.

Even if the Trump case emboldens Republican prosecutors in some deeply conservative areas, it’s unlikely Delaware prosecutors would go after Joe Biden, who was the state’s senator for 36 years.

Attorney John Garey, a Republican who served as Delaware’s deputy attorney general from 1987 to 2003, told The Post that “as it relates to Delaware, I don’t believe that that’s going to happen.”

“In Delaware, we don’t have local DAs, we have a state attorney general who handles the local state prosecutions,” explained Garey, meaning “we don’t have an elected county DA” equivalent to Bragg, who was elected from one of the deepest-blue counties in America.

“Delaware is different and we pride ourselves on being different,” Garey added. “And I don’t believe we would ever get to a point where there would be any type of prosecution for purely political motivations.”

But elsewhere in the country, charges aren’t beyond conception.

“Obama is going to go down in history as the last US President not to be indicted after leaving office,” tweeted George Mason University law professor Eugene Kontorovich.

Davis said Republican retribution should amount to a “dead chicken strategy” — recounting a story that he said Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas once told him over lunch.

“[Thomas] talked about growing up on the farm in Georgia. When dogs killed chickens, you would wrap those dead chickens around the dog’s necks. And as those chickens rotted around those dogs’ necks, those dogs lost the taste for chicken,” Davis said.

“We need to do the same thing to the Democrats on politicized and weaponized bogus charges against Trump and Republicans. We need to give Democrats a healthy dose of their own medicine so they stop doing this.”

The White House declined to comment.
