Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

      • sky news UK – Cold snap could cause strokes and heart attacks, doctors warn

        Ice is “likely to be a hazard for much of the week”, the Met Office says, while people with a pre-existing condition, and the elderly, are urged to be extra careful.

        This week’s cold snap could have a “serious impact on health”, potentially leading to strokes and heart attacks, medics have warned.

        The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) is urging anyone with a pre-existing condition, and the elderly, to heat their homes to at least 18C if possible.

        Treacherous conditions are possible until Friday, with temperatures “well below average for the time of year”, the Met Office has said, the mercury dropping below zero overnight.

        It has yellow warnings in place for snow and ice covering northwest England and Northern Ireland until midday on Tuesday.

        A similar warning covers large parts of northern Scotland until 9am on Wednesday, while there is a warning for ice in Devon and Cornwall for the first nine hours of Tuesday.

        “Cold weather can have a serious impact on health, particularly older people and those with pre-existing health conditions, as it increases the risks of heart attacks, strokes and chest infections,” said the UKHSA’s head of extreme events and health protection, Dr Agostinho Sousa.

    Actor Richard Dreyfuss recently did an interview with Glenn Beck and said that America is doomed if we do not bring back the study of civics.

    This is an excellent point, and especially timely as schools are pushing more and more ‘woke’ nonsense instead of the things that are truly important.

    Dreyfuss told Beck that he gave up acting to pursue this issue.

    But then suddenly the documents were taken down and the webpage sent readers to a Democrat fundraising page.

    The Gateway Pundit investigated these documents on the Wayback Machine.

    A Supreme court judge in New York City has ruled that Governor Kathy Hochul and the state’s health department abused their authority by mandating vaccinations for healthcare workers, a vaccine that’s not included in the state’s Public Health Law.

    Judge Gerard Neri ruled that Gov. Hochul and the health department had abused their authority by sidestepping the legislature and making the Covid vaccine mandate for medical staff permanent, Syracuse reported.

    Neri argued that the state cannot require vaccines beyond those specified in public health law.

    He ruled that the state’s requirement that all healthcare workers get vaccinated against COVID-19 was “null, void, and of no effect.”

    Former Senator, Secretary of State under Obama, and failed Presidential candidate John Kerry, is in Davos this week to discuss climate change.

    Today Kerry put his finger on the target and shared what he really wants.

    Kerry claims to be behind efforts to reduce carbon emissions based on fake science, but is that really what he is after?

    He shared what he really wants. It’s not climate control, it’s money. Lots and lots of money.

    U.S. climate envoy John Kerry says that despite nearly a $1 trillion committed by global philanthropies for various causes over the last few years, only 2% of this amount goes toward climate action.

    He said Tuesday during a panel session at the World Economic Forum in Davos that it’s estimated from $7.5 billion to $12.5 billion of global philanthropy is directed toward climate action. He and others urged philanthropies across the world to come together and contribute more to climate action.

    “So how do we get there?” Kerry asked about keeping global climate goals alive. He answered, “Well, the lesson I’ve learned in the last year — I learned it as secretary of state and it has since been reinforced in spades, is money, money, money, money, money, money, money.”

    And now the cat is out of the bag. The WEF and the elites want money and lots of it.

      He took to Twitter to mock the World Economic Forum (WEF) ahead of their Davos summit.

      Musk responded to an article titled “Davos Is A Grift And A Cult But It’s Also A Bid For Global Domination” saying, “WEF does kinda give me the willies though, but I’m sure everything is fine ?.”

      Plus, he asked a good question:

      “Are they trying to be the boss of Earth

      Sadly, many prominent Americans are attending the event – including Republicans.

      According to a list from the WEF, 20 Americans are in attendance this year.

      The list of names includes John Kerry, FBI Director Christopher Wray, RINO Governor Brian Kemp, and Senator Joe Manchin.

      As we reported earlier, Kerry said that what they all wanted was money, money, money

      In addition, Kerry expressed that he was part of a “select group of human beings” who were called to save the planet.

      Kerry has always thought very highly of himself.

      Kerry shared:

      It’s pretty extraordinary, that we a select group of human beings because of whatever touched us at some point in our lives, are able to sit in a room and come together and actually talk about saving the planet. And it’s so almost extraterrestrial to think about quote saving the planet.”

      He goes on to say that what most people think about Kerry and others:

      Most people think you’re just a crazy, treehugging, lefty, liberal, do-gooder, whatever…”

      Yes, I believe he’s right about that.

    Ursula von der Leyen says that Ukraine has received a lot of help and deserves more. But where did the money go? Biden has sent $100 billion to Ukraine but there’s been no audit of where it went. Now the leaders at the WEC want more.

    The Biden administration is a complete disaster.

    Last Wednesday, the United States had a complete ground stop on planes in the United States – this is the first time since 9/11/01 this has happened.

    The Biden administration blamed it on a damaged database file.

    Tucker Carlson is proposing a different theory on what happened.

    During a segment on his show, Tucker Carlson theorized that the real reason might have been a group of hackers holding the US for ransom.

    He cited the same thing happening in both the Philippines and Canada as evidence something bigger is going on here.

    CNBC’s managing editor threatened a reporter for the conservative Canadian website Rebel News after the reporter asked simple questions during an ambush interview at the World Economic Forum (WEF).

    Avi Yemini, the chief Rebel News Australia correspondent, traveled to Davos, Switzerland, to cover the WEF’s annual meeting with the elites and globalists.

    Yemini wrote on his Twitter account that he was threatened by a CNBC official.

    “I was just THREATENED to be “punched out” by CNBC’s Intl. Managing Editor for politely asking him simple questions,” Yemini wrote.

    These are the THUGS that want to control the world. But he doesn’t scare me,” he continued.

    The CNBC official was later on identified as Patrick Allen, the Vice-President and International Managing Editor of CNBC.

    Kari Lake responded to the rumors last night.

    The Gateway Pundit recently reported that Kari Lake’s appeal against Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Peter Thompson’s dismissal of her lawsuit to overturn the 2022 Midterm election was scheduled for conference on February 1.

    The Court agreed to hear her case ‘on the merits‘ and at an expedited pace.

    Kari joined Steve Bannon’s War Room last week to give this update and explain more about her legal battle. Lake also told Bannon, “We have more evidence coming forth.”

    This brought a surge of prostitutes to the town who are booked into the same hotels as some of the attendees.

    The Daily Mail reported

    The global elite tackling the world’s greatest problems – including gender inequality -at the Davos summit are fuelling a surge in prostitution in the Swiss resort town

    Demand for sex work skyrockets each year at the meeting of world leaders and business tycoons who jet in from all around the world to rub shoulders with each other.

    Escorts are booked into the same hotels as high-powered bosses and their employees during the five-day summit, which started on January 16.

    Steve Bannon asked Rudy Giuliani a few questions about Joe Biden’s document scandal. This comes after multiple batches of documents were located at Biden’s property and at the Biden Center at Penn U.

    In July 2022, White House Counsel Dana Ann Remus announced that she would be leaving the White House. Prior to this, she was general counsel for Biden’s Presidential campaign.

    She reportedly now works for Biden as his personal attorney and was reportedly on-site at Penn U when classified documents turned up at Biden’s office there.

    Bannan asked Guiliani starting off by noting that Remus was located:

    Only a fool would consider this news shocking. On Sunday, a journalist from The Arizona Republic revealed in an important article that Biden was reckless with top secret documents as vice-president back in 2010.

    The author, Greg Burton, wrote that when he went to interview Biden that year, he noticed a top secret document sitting in full viewing on a table in Biden’s White House office. Once then-Biden’s director of Communications Jay Carney found out what Burton saw, a “minor skirmish” ensued.

    Attorney Dana Remus is an American lawyer who served as White House counsel for U.S. President Joe Biden from January 2021 to July 2022. Prior to her appointment as White House counsel, Remus was general counsel for Joe Biden’s 2020 presidential campaign.

    Earlier in her career, she was deputy assistant to the president and deputy counsel for ethics during the presidency of Barack Obama.

    Remus, along with Robert Lenhard, and James Garland was assigned to oversee Biden’s vice presidential records. She should have known about these documents taken by the Biden clan when he left office as vice president.

    Remus then became Joe Biden’s top attorney, the White House Counsel, until July 2022 when she resigned.
