Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

  1. “He’s Compromised”: Rep. Comer Drops Big News about Joe Biden, Hunter Biden Investigation

    But, in what’s probably shocking or startling news, it’s looking increasingly likely that the GOP might actually do something about the Hunter Biden problem if they retake power.

    Such is what Rep. James Comer of Kentucky, the guy who will likely become chairman of the House oversight panel if the GOP retakes power in the House this November, hinted at during an interview with Time Magazine, saying that the GOP has been hard at work digging up evidence of what Hunter has done. In his words:

    “We’re not investigating Hunter Biden for political reasons. We’re investigating Hunter Biden because we believe he’s a national security threat, who we fear has compromised Joe Biden. The Hunter Biden investigation is slowly becoming the Joe Biden investigation.”

    WEF – ‘My Carbon’: An approach for inclusive and sustainable cities

    While transport and buildings are the major drivers for emissions in cities, the share of individual emissions is significant.

    Personal carbon allowance programs have had limited success due to a lack of awareness and fair mechanism for tracking emissions.

    Yet there have been major developments in recent years that could help realise “My Carbon” initiatives.

    […]Specifically, to mention three developments in this context:

    1. COVID-19 was the test of social responsibility – A huge number of unimaginable restrictions for public health were adopted by billions of citizens across the world.

    There were numerous examples globally of maintaining social distancing, wearing masks, mass vaccinations and acceptance of contact-tracing applications for public health, which demonstrated the core of individual social responsibility.

    […]Young adults, who have been at the forefront of some of the most prominent climate change protests in recent years, are more concerned than their older counterparts about the personal impact of a warming planet in many public surveys.

    The End of Doctors’ Freedom to Ignore What the Government and Pharmaceutical Industry Says Should Worry Us All

    On October 11th a Bill is to be presented to the Queensland Parliament which would impose draconian limits on what doctors can say to their patients. If passed, doctors will no longer be able to express their opinion or use their experience, training and education, if that opinion goes against what the Government health bureaucrats determine to be in the general interests of the public.

    The National Law originally came into being after the Commonwealth, States and Territories all entered into an intergovernmental agreement in 2008. By that agreement it was established the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (the National Law) would first become legislation passed by the Queensland parliament (s.6.3), which the other States and Territories would then mirror and pass via each of their parliaments (s.6.4), The same intergovernmental agreement established the Australian Health Workforce Ministerial Council (s.7.1) charged with overseeing the National Law.

    Once passed into law by the Queensland parliament, all the other States and Territories are required to create virtually identical Bills and submit to their parliaments to be made law, thereby effecting the same amendments to the National Law of their State or Territory (s.13.4).

    Australian doctors will be bound to follow Government policy regardless of countervailing evidence, which means that Government health bureaucrats will determine how doctors should approach treatment recommendations for their patients.

    The Health Practitioner Regulation National Law and Other Legislation Amendment Bill 2022 proposes changes which would give the Queensland Health Ombudsman, the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and the Medical Board of Australia unprecedented powers to sanction doctors for expressing their professional opinion based on their assessment of the best available science.

    This amendment to the Bill is clearly designed to destroy our healthcare system. A patient visits their doctor for an ‘opinion’, which will be obliterated by the act. Healthcare is nuanced, almost every day I ‘violate’ textbook recommendations because patients do not conform to idealised representations, each has unique features. Those deviations come down to experience, which is the patient’s and doctor’s most powerful asset.

    Medicine will cease to evolve. It will become fossilised in the Covid Ice Age. Minor indiscretions like prescribing antibiotics when the indications are blurred could be subject to disciplinary action. Guidelines are contradictory so it would be almost impossible to practise medicine without contravening dictates. Most disease classification is already antiquated with diagnostic definitions set down sometimes 100 years ago or more. This legislation would lead to disastrous consequences for all Australians.

    The aim of the Act must be to pave the way for multi-corporate management of healthcare. With 96% of the revenue of the Therapeutic Goods Administration, which is responsible for approving all pharmaceutical products including vaccines, coming from the pharmaceutical industry, the potential for conflicts of interest is self-evident. Therapeutic interventions will become legislated in the interests of big pharma. mRNA vaccines could be delivered unopposed on ‘conscience’ grounds, including to children. The cargo in the mRNA vaccines can be changed at will without going through full regulatory approval. By the time our children turn five, they would be comprehensively ‘protected’ by the ‘Pharma Ring of Protection’, vaccinated against everything from diabetes to in-growing toenails, all without the constraints of clinical opinion.

    In the absence of a functioning healthcare system, individuals will be encouraged by authorities to seek their healthcare online from approved ‘trusted sources’. Doctors will become demonised as pariahs, depicted as being left behind in the high tech era. We will doubtless be receiving a concoction of ‘junk food’ medicine upsold with pharma fries. For every thought, action and movement there will be a pharmaceutical solution, requirement even. Your mere existence will demand so, for the safety of others.

    This obscene piece of legislation paves the way to an Orwellian nightmare, with consequences that go far beyond healthcare, to the very core of our humanity. It’s the desecration of our rights to autonomous existence, it’s the Monty Python boot trampling in the face of every individual Australian. Our children will be stamped, sealed and delivered from birth, with profit potential identified and catalogued.

    For the Australian citizen this is our Stalingrad. Defeat here will open the field to unlimited human resources for oppressive forces that can never be turned back. We must oppose this with all our resolve.

    GBN – ‘She’s nothing less than dangerous’ | Neil Oliver hits out at Jacinda Ardern over ‘tyranny’

    • Med ed is on a downward spiral anyway.

      Affirmative action admissions, courses in marxist junk replace nuts-&-bolts anatomy and physiology. Students can’t handle simple arithmetic, professors have to condition their teaching to stay within safe-space bounds.

      Downstream to med schools is the research profession. Formerly revered, peer-reviewed med journals are all compromised to a greater or lesser extent.

      • My cousin was turned down as a nurse because they had to give the job to a less qualified black nurse under the Affirmative Action rule. She quit the nursing business.

    • Democracy is a strange thing. The guy Legault definitely had a very high majority win. But the popular vote and seats won are not representative of the population.

      An example: the Liberals under a woman named Anglade is now the official opposition party. The party has 21 seats with 590,171 votes, aka 14,4 % of the vote.

      The Conservatives under a guy named Duhame have ZERO seats although they won 530,804 votes, aka 12,9 % of the vote.

      On the island of Montreal, the Conservatives came in a close second place in more than 20 districts. But still no seats.

      The same happens in many ‘democratic’ countries. It makes one wonder about citizen representation and what is democracy?

      • …. exactly

        PLQ 14.37 % ===> 21 seats

        QS 15.42 % ===> 11 seats

        PQ 14.6 % ===> 3 seats

        PCQ 12.9 % ===> 0 seat

        CAQ 40.9 % ===> 90 seats

  4. VOA – Saudi Prince has Immunity in Khashoggi Killing Lawsuit, Say Lawyers

    Lawyers for Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, facing a U.S. lawsuit over the 2018 killing of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi, told a court on Monday the crown prince’s appointment as prime minister last week ensured him immunity from prosecution.

    Khashoggi was killed and dismembered by Saudi agents in the Saudi consulate in Istanbul in an operation which U.S. intelligence believed was ordered by Prince Mohammed, who has been the kingdom’s de facto ruler for several years.

    The prince denied ordering Khashoggi’s killing, but acknowledged later it took place “under my watch.”

    Last week his elderly father King Salman named him prime minister in a royal decree which a Saudi official said was in line with responsibilities the crown prince was already exercising.

    “The Royal Order leaves no doubt that the Crown Prince is entitled to status-based immunity,” lawyers for the prince said in a petition requesting a federal district court in Washington dismiss the case, citing other cases where the United States has recognized immunity for a foreign head of state.

    U.S. President Joe Biden, who fist-bumped the crown prince on a visit to Saudi Arabia in July to discuss energy and security issues, had told Prince Mohammed that he considered him responsible for Khashoggi’s killing.

    He said Prince Mohammed denied involvement and asserted those involved had been held to account.

    Khashoggi, who had criticized the crown prince’s policies in Washington Post columns, had traveled to the Saudi consulate in Istanbul to obtain papers he needed to marry Hatice Cengiz, a Turkish citizen.

    The lawsuit was filed jointly by Cengiz and a human rights group founded by Khashoggi, and sought unspecified damages against the crown prince, known in the West as MbS. It also named more than 20 other Saudis as co-defendants.

    It charged that MbS, his co-defendants and others carried out a plot to “permanently silence Mr. Khashoggi” after discovering he planned to use the group as “a platform to espouse democratic reform and promote human rights.”

    The court had asked the U.S. Department of Justice to express a view on whether Prince Mohammed had immunity, setting an October 3 deadline for a response.

    After the prince’s appointment as prime minister last week, the department said on Friday it was seeking a 45-day extension to prepare its response to the court “in light of these changed circumstances.”

    On Monday, U.S. District Judge John D. Bates granted the request for an extension but said absent compelling evidence, this would be the only extension he would allow.

    The United States should file any statement of interest no later than November 17, Bates said in a court document.

  5. GERMANY – KASSEL – Kaaba in the colors of the homosexual flag in Kassel, Germany, and attempts to spread the idea in Mecca

    An organization supporting homosexuality has erected a model of the Holy Kaaba in the colors of the gay flag, in the city of Castle German.

    The city council had refused to erect the statue, but the organizers of the event filed a case and obtained a court ruling to erect the statue, with the aim of attracting gay Muslims who receive severe penalties in their countries, especially in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

    According to the organization Pixel HelperSupportive of homosexuals, Al-Mujassam “offers gay Muslims an alternative path to faith, full of tolerance, love and faith,” calling on all Muslims to pray towards it.

  8. DHS Paid $12 Million to Censor Political Opponents on Biden’s ‘Enemies List,’ Interfere in Elections: Documents

    The Department of Homeland Security paid $12 million to a consortium of private actors to censor President Joe Biden’s political opponents and engage in election interference on social media platforms.

    The bombshell report was revealed by Robby Starbuck, who had made a bid for U.S. Congress in Tennessee’s House District 5, before running into opposition from the Republican Party to appear on the GOP primary ballot.

    “THREAD: DHS coordinated with a group called the ‘Election Integrity Partnership’” to censor Biden’s opponents. I’m on the EIP’s list with @charliekirk11, @RepMTG, @DonaldJTrumpJr, @JackPosobiec & more. I was censored while I ran for Congress. Biden’s regime paid EIP groups 12M+!” Starbuck wrote in a Twitter thread.

    “For all of us this was a gross violation of our rights and a blatantly illegal act by the US Government. In my specific case this was state sponsored election interference. In this thread I’ll explain who’s involved and what they did. They crossed lines that can’t be uncrossed. This is who makes up the EIP”:

    The Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas accepted a request from plaintiffs including Gun Owners of America for a permanent injunction against the executive order, which Democratic Mayor Jim Kenney issued Sept. 27. The executive order banned carrying firearms and other deadly weapons into city Parks and Recreation Department-run indoor and outdoor recreational premises, with exceptions for park trails and areas not explicitly meant for active recreation.

  10. Former Leftist Congressman Sentenced To Over Two Years In Jail For Committing Election Fraud

    A former Democrat U.S. representative from Pennsylvania was sentenced to two years in jail last week after admitting to carrying out election fraud to help leftist candidates.

    Former Rep. Michael Myers, 79, was charged with conspiracy to deprive voters of civil rights, bribery, obstruction of justice, falsification of voting records, conspiring to vote illegally in a federal election, and orchestrating schemes to stuff ballot boxes in favor of Democrat candidates in federal elections over the course of four years. Myers, who was expelled from the House in 1980 for bribery, plead guilty to all the above-mentioned charges, confessing that he had bribed a Judge of Elections in order to carry out his schemes.

    Speaking of Myers’s sentencing, FBI Philadelphia Division Special Agent in Charge Jacqueline Maguire said:

  11. BREAKING: LA County Election Worker Data Was Stored on Servers in China; Software Exec Arrested

    On Monday, the New York Times published a story about a “small group of election deniers” who pushed a “conspiracy theory” that “a small American election software company, Konnech, had secret ties to the Chinese Communist Party and had given the Chinese government backdoor access to personal data about two million poll workers in the United States.”

    On Tuesday, Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascón announced that Eugene Yu, Konnech’s CEO, had been arrested in Michigan “as part of an investigation into the possible theft of personal identifying information of [LA County election] workers” and that the “information was stored on servers in the People’s Republic of China.”

    Of course, Gascón asserts that “the alleged conduct had no impact on the tabulation of votes and did not alter election results,” but hard drives were seized by LA District Attorney’s office investigators.

  12. Two Major Holes Were Found In The FBI’s Case Against Pro-Life Father, Documents Reveal
    Posted On October 4, 2022
    New documents call into question two key components of the FBI’s charges against Mark Houck, the pro-life father of seven who was arrested by federal agents Sept. 23 for allegedly shoving a Planned Parenthood clinic escort.

    The FBI charged Houck with two counts of assaulting a reproductive health care clinic escort in violation of the FACE Act, which makes it a federal crime to interfere with someone “because that person is a provider of reproductive health care.” Houck’s arrest by numerous federal agents made national headlines, but newly unearthed documents undermine some of the FBI’s charges against him.

    Houck was praying near an abortion clinic when Bruce Love, who claims to be a longtime clinic escort, approached him and began behaving “extremely aggressively” and harassing Houck’s then-12-year-old son, his attorney, Peter Breen, told the Daily Caller News Foundation; Love was not escorting any patients at the time of the altercation, according to Breen.

  14. ‘Heroic Work’: Biden Congratulates Coast Guard Hero He’s Trying to Fire
    Posted On October 4, 2022
    As the death toll from Hurricane Ian soars past 100, heroes like U.S. Coast Guard Aviation Survival Technician Second Class Zach Loesch are one reason it isn’t higher.

    Loesch kicked through a wall to rescue a 94-year-old disabled woman and her husband, hoisting them — and her wheelchair — into a helicopter amid high winds. You know, the sort of feats they choreograph in a Marvel movie.

    Loesch’s heroism was so outstanding he even received a call from President Joe Biden himself to “personally thank” him for his “heroic work.” “Do you see a man skillful in his work? He will stand before kings; he will not stand before obscure men” (Proverbs 22:29). Biden repeated his praise for Loesch in a Friday speech, where he said, “I told him how proud of him I was and thanked him for all the work he and his Coasties are doing to save lives.”

    But there was one little detail about which Loesch wisely kept silent during the commander-in-chief’s congratulatory call. He’s about to be kicked out of the Coast Guard, on Biden’s orders, for refusing the COVID-19 vaccine.

    Posted On October 4, 2022
    A coalition of environmental advocacy groups has requested that the CEO’s of major social media platforms stop the spread of “climate disinformation” by censoring user posts, according to a Tuesday letter.

    Addressed to the CEOs of Facebook, TikTok, Google, YouTube, Twitter and Pinterest, the letter claims that climate disinformation should be censored because it “undermines” the government’s ability to efficiently and effectively respond to the climate. The coalition asserted that social media companies are directly responsible for “amplifying and perpetuating” disinformation and should be completely transparent to show the “exact extent” of damage done.
