This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

    Water levels on the Rhine River have fallen so low that barges hauling energy products have encountered parts of Europe’s most crucial waterway impassible.

    The river at Kaub, Germany, is around 23.6 inches (60 centimeters) on Wednesday and is expected to drop to 18.5 inches (47 centimeters) by Saturday, according to the German Federal Waterways and Shipping Administration. That would take it within 2.5 inches (7 centimeters) from being entirely impassable by barge.

  16. The US State Department has approved the sale of 300 Patriot missiles to Saudi Arabia in a deal worth $3.05 billion and another deal worth $2.25 billion to the UAE for 96 Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) missile rounds.

    In a statement released by the Pentagon, the US said Riyadh requested PATRIOT MIM-104E Guidance Enhanced Missile-Tactical Ballistic missiles (GEM-T). The sale will include other tools and test equipment.

    The principal contractor will be US-based Raytheon.

      Last week, Twitter censored Prof. Shapira—who was “physically injured” after his third Pfizer vaccine—and forced him to remove a post which said: “Monkey pox cases were rare for years. During the last years a single case was documented in Israel. It is well established the mRNA vaccines affect the natural immune system. A monkey pox outbreak following massive covid vaccination: *Is not a coincidence.”

      Prof. Shapira, who started his Twitter account in January 2022, has grown increasingly critical of the mRNA vaccines since he first denounced the Israeli Genesis Award for being delivered to Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla.

      On January 18, 2022, Shapira said (translated from Hebrew by Google): “The Israeli Genesis Award was given to the CEO of Pfizer, so wretched. Instead of giving it to an Israeli scientist, and all this for a mediocre, short-acting vaccine that yielded Pfizer a profit of billions, a wretched and exiled one. Bourla will be appointed the King of Israel now. Let me remind you that vaccinated Israel is the fourth-leading in the number of corona patients in the world. There is a championship!”

      On February 6, 2022, Shapira asked: “What grade would you give to a vaccine that people are vaccinated with three times and get sick twice (as of today)? Not to mention significant side effects[.]”

      On April 9, 2022, Shapira said: “The CEO of the company, millions of whose vaccines were used in Israel for vaccination, stated in an interview with NBC that Israel serves as the world’s laboratory. To the best of my knowledge, this is the first case in history where experimental guinea pigs paid an exorbitant rate for their participation.”

      On May 13, 2022, Shapira said: “I received 3 vaccinations, I was physically injured in a very significant way as many others were injured[.] And in addition, my trust in the nature of the decisions and in the processes of making them has been severely eroded. No one asked and checked. I will fight with all my might so that truthful answers regarding all decisions and not just regarding the vaccine are given[.]”

      On June 7, 2022, Shapira said: “We are talking about vaccine five in two and a half years. When the vaccine is planned for the sequence from January 2020 (the great-grandfather of the great-grandfather of the current variants). A vaccine that does not prevent infection does not prevent morbidity. And it is allegedly attributed to significant side effects to say the least. Why? What is the logic? Which authority approved? And don’t say that it prevents a serious illness, no one has proven it.”

      On June 8, 2022, Shapira said: “I will continue and ask why give an outdated fifth vaccine that does not prevent disease and apparently causes many significant common side effects.”

      On July 5, 2022, Shapira discussed the “son of a 36-year-old Australian friend” who developed “severe ventricular arrhythmias and went into heart failure” only “days after the second Pfizer vaccine”.

      “The compensation is automatic by the Australian government,” he said. “Despite the behavior of their government they admit to the connection and the phrase ‘no connection’ does not appear in the lexicon.”

      On July 15, 2022, Shapira shared a chart of New South Wales COVID rates showing an increased risk of COVID infection with every new dose of the mRNA vaccine on which he commented: “According to official data from Australia the more you are injected the more likely you are to get sick as the fourth injection jumps the chance dramatically. According to this study it is supposedly an anti-vaccine at least according to what I have been taught.”

      On July 18, 2022, Shapira said: “I am not anti-vaccine, I am anti-stupidity, anti-fake science, and anti-incompetent management.”

      On July 28, 2022, Shapira said: “T warned me to remove the T connecting MP to C. Each day I understand better where we live and in which year.”

      In other words, Twitter warned him to remove the tweet connecting monkeypox to the COVID vaccine.

      On July 31, 2022, Shapira shared a link to the OpenVaers COVID Vaccine Adverse Event Reports which showed a total of 1,357,937 reports including 170,151 hospitalizations and 29,790 deaths, above which he simply commented: “Safe & Efficient”

      In summary, as the Director General of the Israel Institute for Biological Research, Professor Shmuel Shapira might be the most senior ranking medical-scientist in the world to openly criticize the COVID vaccines.

      The Israel Institute for Biological Research was established in 1952 as a governmental research institute, founded by a group of scientists from the Israel Defense Forces.

      Since then, the IIBR has been engaged in R&D in the fields of biology, chemistry, and environmental sciences in order to provide the State of Israel with defense capabilities against chemical and biological weapons.

      In a post-lockdown world, where governments increasingly coordinate with Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube to censor criticism of COVID vaccines, even senior ranking medical-scientist are being silenced for speaking about the science that counters the pharmaceutical industry’s narrative.

      Hopefully, Professor Shmuel Shapira—who was previously the top Israeli military scientist researching chemical and biological weapons—can now set his sights on the COVID mRNA vaccines and bring more attention to the death and destruction they are causing to many around the world.

  21. AUG 01 2022 – Rand Paul vows to get answers on COVID-19 origins in gain-of-function hearing

    Paul argues there is significant evidence that the COVID-19 pandemic originated in a Wuhan, China, lab

    Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., announced the first ever hearing on gain-of-function research, which will be aimed at pinning down the origins of the COVID-19 pandemic.

    “Throughout this pandemic, Dr. Rand Paul has led the effort to hold government officials accountable on the status of efforts being made to combat COVID-19, and the origins of this virus that has killed over 6 million people worldwide,” a spokesperson for Paul told Fox News Digital. “This has been over a year-long process of getting Congressional Democrats to finally agree to a hearing, which will also be the first Congressional hearing on gain-of-function research. Dr. Paul looks forward to working with Subcommittee Chairwoman Hassan and hearing from expert witnesses during this critically important hearing that should’ve happened long ago.”

    The hearing, which is scheduled for Wednesday, comes a week after the Kentucky senator attempted to pass an amendment to the CHIPS-Plus Act that would have banned U.S. funding of gain-of-function research in China, with Democrats objecting to the amendment despite it passing unanimously in an earlier version of the bill last year.

    In remarks on the floor of the Senate last week, Paul argued that there was significant evidence that the origins of the COVID-19 pandemic could be traced to a lab in Wuhan, China.

    “Gain-of-function research enhances the severity or transmissibility of existing viruses that may infect humans,” Paul said. “The dangers are so acute that from 2014-2017, the National Institutes of Health suspended funding for all gain-of-function projects… the emergence of COVID serves as a reminder that dangerous research conducted in a secretive and totalitarian country is simply too risky to fund.”

    Paul also sent a letter to the acting director of the National Institutes of Health, Lawrence A. Tabak, last week to demand the agency be more transparent on the origins of COVID-19, arguing that NIH has “repeatedly disregarded its responsibilities” under the Freedom of Information Act.

    “Of particular concern is NIH’s recent admission in Court that the agency is withholding portions of emails between employees because they ‘could be used out of context and serve to amplify the already prevalent misinformation regarding the origins of the coronavirus pandemic,'” Paul said in the letter. “This suggests NIH is censoring the information it releases to the public about the origins of the pandemic.”

    Paul has had several clashes with public health officials throughout the pandemic, including several confrontations with Dr. Anthony Fauci, who currently serves as the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and the chief medical adviser to President Biden.

    Most recently, Paul told Fox News that Fauci would be forced to testify under oath regarding the pandemic if the Republican Party takes control of Congress after the midterm elections.

    “If he’s in public employment, we will subpoena him,” Paul said. “He will have to appear and testify under oath. If Republicans take charge of the House or the Senate or both, he will have to testify under oath because a million Americans died. And we want to know about was there a cover-up in trying to suppress any link to the lab in China?”

      Gazprom’s announcement came hours after German Chancellor Olaf Scholz arrived at the Siemens Energy plant in the German city of Mülheim an der Ruhr and inspected the Siemens turbine for Nord Stream 1, which Canada, at Germany’s request, agreed to return to Russia after repair, despite the sanctions.

      Gazprom claims that due to the need to repair turbines manufactured by Siemens, it is forced to drastically reduce supplies via Nord Stream 1. In June, deliveries were reduced to 40% of the planned capacity due to the fact, as Gazprom explained, that they could not return the turbine from Canada, which was being repaired there. In July, another turbine was turned off for repairs, the Russian gas monopolist said, and deliveries were cut to 20% of planned capacity. In Europe, in turn, they suspect that the real reason for the reduction in supplies is an attempt to put pressure on the EU, which supports Ukraine and has adopted several packages of sanctions against Russia because of the war.

      Gas pipeline part is ready for Russia, says German leader

      German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has inspected a mechanical turbine at the centre of a natural gas dispute and declared “there are no problems” with the part besides information from Russia’s state-controlled gas company.

      Russian energy giant Gazprom last week halved the amount of natural gas flowing through the Nord Stream 1 pipeline to 20% of capacity, citing delays with the turbine’s repair and delivery.

      But Mr Scholz insisted the needed part is ready to be shipped to Russia at any time.

      German partner Siemens Energy earlier this year sent the turbine to Canada for an overhaul.

      The German government says the finished piece was meant to be installed in September and alleges that Moscow is using misleading technical explanations in a political ploy and to push up gas prices.

      The turbine is now stored at a Siemens Energy facility in Germany’s western city of Mulheim an der Ruhr.

      “This thing is perfect. Its installation can be done immediately,” Mr Scholz said while standing in front of the large piece of machinery.

      “It is here. It’s ready to go. And by the way, in the world we live in today, it’s a very simple thing to transport it. It’s just a matter of saying, ‘Please send it’.”

      “This turbine is usable any time,” he said.

      “There is nothing standing in the way of its transport on to Russia – other than that the Russian recipients have to say that they want to have the turbine, and give the necessary information for the customs transport to Russia,” the chancellor continued.

      “All other permits are there – that goes for the permit from Germany, the permit from the European Union, from the United Kingdom, from Canada. There are no problems.”

      Gazprom has repeatedly said it pressed Siemens Energy for documents and clarification, and said a week ago that it was not satisfied with documents it had received.

      Gazprom’s repeated reductions of gas deliveries has raised fears that Russia may cut off supplies to try to gain political leverage over Europe, which has imposed wide-ranging sanctions against Russia over the war in Ukraine.

      Mr Scholz noted the EU sanctions do not apply to the gas used to power industry, heat homes and generate electricity.

  26. OTTAWA – Horizon Ottawa and the Lowertown Community Association (LCA) are calling on the City of Ottawa to support alternative local ownership of St. Brigid’s Church. This will ensure that the historic heritage building, which is located in the Lowertown neighbourhood, stays within community hands. Horizon Ottawa has also launched a petition on its website.

    The call comes after the former Church, preserved by the Irish Canadian Cultural Centre after it was bought in 2007, was recently acquired last month by an organization known as “The United People of Canada.” The group, which has clear connections to February’s so-called “Freedom Convoy”, only registered as a non-profit in March and all of its directors are from London, Ontario, opening questions as to how this organization is connected to the community and how it so quickly came up with $6 million in funds to acquire the property.

    Further, their mission statement is vague and explains little as to what their organization actually intends to do. When one of the directors, William Komer, was questioned about support for the convoy, his answers were vague and indirect. The organization has also recently published problematic attempts to fundraise, including one which seems to engage in skepticism around the “true number of residential school graves.”

    “Along with many residents of Lowertown, we have significant concerns of the presence of this organization in our neighbourhood and the traumatic evocation it brings of the Ottawa occupation” said Lowertown Community Association President, Sylvie Bigras. “We believe the Church belongs to the community and should remain in the community as an open and inclusive space; this is why we are joining the call to demand that the City support local ownership of St. Brigid’s and call upon the federal and provincial government to pitch in financially if necessary.”

  27. OTTAWA – Police arrest one person after vehicle rams Parliament Hill front gates

    Ottawa police have arrested the driver of a vehicle that rammed into the Parliament Hill gates.

    The incident occurred early Wednesday morning, at 3:30 a.m, when an unauthorized vehicle drove onto Wellington Street and into the front gates, the Ottawa Police Service said in a media release.

    Security infrastructure prevented the vehicle from going any further, the police added, and a nearby Ottawa police officer took the driver into custody without further incident. There was minimal damage to the gates.

    The OPS said it was leading the investigation into the incident alongside the Parliamentary Protective Service, which oversees security for the Parliamentary Precinct.

    Charges are pending, the OPS media release said.

    Vehicle traffic has been prohibited on Wellington Street since police cleared “Freedom Convoy” who for weeks protested in front of Parliament Hill and across the downtown core.

    A parliamentary committee is currently weighing whether the street should remain permanently out of bounds to vehicle traffic.

    In July, Ottawa police shared an image of a white pickup truck covered in “Freedom Convoy” imagery and laden with flags that had driven past barriers erected on Wellington Street to keep vehicles out. The driver of that vehicle was fined more than $1,000 for driving on a closed roadway and disobeying a sign, among other offenses.

    Etienne Cameron, a co-owner of Lady Dive Tours in Ottawa, said the company is investigating the crash involving one of its vehicles and the driver, whom he did not immediately identify, was the only person on board.

    The driver would not give his name at the scene of the crash but said he’s completely fine and even the bus took very little damage.

    The same could not be said for the fence around 24 Sussex Drive.

    A red “Amphibus” appeared to have veered off the eastbound side of Sussex Drive onto the sidewalk and crashed into the black metal and stone fence outside the residence. A large section of the fence had been knocked down entirely and rocks and rubble were strewn across the ground.

      Enerhodar is the BIGGEST NUKE power plant in Europe.

      It’s in conquered territory that forms a land bridge from Russia to the west: along the coast of the Sea of Azov, then across south Ukraine. It stretches all the way to Kherson, at mouth of the Dnieper River, where it empties into the Black Sea. It’s a direct route for resupply across the main bridges.

      THAT’S where Prez Z’s “monster counteroffensive” is supposed to take place, where he says 200,000 troops are massed. The objective is to cut that supply route, kick the Russians out.

      It doesn’t make sense. Bridges knocked out, how would the UAF forces cross the river?

      There are three important bridges. The biggest, in the west at Kherson city, took several hits till it was finally [temporarily] disabled by a couple of HIMARS. Now Russians don’t have railroad access, they’re making do with ferries and pontoon bridges.

    Maricopa County had 106,588k voters show up Tuesday to vote in-person. Of those, a record breaking percentage voted for the GOP. In Arizona, anyone registered as an “Independent” can show up to the polls and request either a Republican, or Democrat ballot. In Tuesday’s Primary, 80.0% who voted in-person selected a Republican Party ballot. Only 23.4% used the Democrat ballot. This is obviously great news, but the county’s mail-in ballots are 10 times this amount. The charts below provide various details.
