Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

    Copper is used in cars and electronics, plumbing, and all sorts of things. So when the price of copper goes down, it indicates that it is not in high demand and there may be a recession coming.

    may take months or years but every once in a while The New York Times will actually publish a factual report or a partly factual report on the COVID vaccines.

    The New York Times reported on a “new” study — the largest to date — that shows how the experimental COVID vaccines may affect menstruation. The NY Times then insists that – based on the findings – there is no cause for alarm.

    That is clearly an assumption and not a fact.

    Biden’s cognitive function was so far gone that he was fed pills by staff supervised by his wife Jill to be able to function during the 2020 presidential campaign–and still is to this day, according to a report Friday by Fox News Channel host Tucker Carlson.

    Tucker Carlson: “How did he manage to get through the campaign? Well, it turned out, we learned later his staff, supervised by Dr. Jill, his wife, was giving him pills before every public appearance–checking the time and at a certain hour giving him a dose of something. Now it’s not a guess, we’re not making that up. We’ve spoken directly to someone who was there and saw it happen multiple times. Now, before taking the medications this person said, Biden was quote ‘Like a small child. You could not communicate with him, he changed completely because he was on drugs and he clearly still is on drugs.’ Someone’s pushing, we don’t know what those drugs are. We should know.”

  13. Dock workers’ strike hits cargo handling at German ports

    BERLIN — Dock workers at Germany’s North Sea ports went on strike Friday in the latest of several walkouts that have added pressures on shipping as their union demands a hefty pay rise to counter high inflation.

    The 48-hour strike, which is to end on Saturday morning, has largely paralyzed cargo handling at major ports including Hamburg, Bremerhaven and Wilhelmshaven, news agency dpa reported. It follows a 24-hour walkout in June and a previous one-shift warning strike.

    However, there will be no further strikes before late August under a deal reached at the labor court in Hamburg on Thursday night, the court said. The agreement calls for the two sides to set three further dates for negotiations up to Aug. 26. Courts in several cities had rejected bids by employers for injunctions halting this week’s strike.

    So far, seven rounds of negotiations haven’t produced any results. The ver.di union has been calling for a one-year deal that would include a raise of 1.20 euros (dollars) per hour for around 12,000 employees in Hamburg, Bremen and Lower Saxony state, plus a 7.4% increase to balance out inflation.

    The dispute comes as shipping already has been disrupted by a variety of issues, including the coronavirus restrictions in China.

    During a recent episode of MSNBC talk show “Zerlina,” author and former intelligence analyst Malcolm Nance warned that the Republican Party has become an “insurgency” that Americans “may have to fight” before it “kills” them.

    Host Zerlina Maxwell brought Nance onto her Wednesday show to discuss the ongoing January 6 Committee hearings and give his perspective on how extreme he believed the Republican Party had become. According to Nance, it is harboring forces of “White extremism” and “terrorism” that will endanger the lives of other Americans.

    In Nance’s view, the January 6 Capitol riot provided evidence of this.

    He began, claiming, “Here in the United States — to characterize that to understand just what kind of terrorism we might be dealing with, you have to actually label it as white extremism because we have 30% of the population of the United States who no longer believe in the democratic norms that we established in the founding of the country.”

    Qqygas station robbery suspect was shot and killed in St. Charles, Missouri on Saturday morning by a good guy with a gun who witnessed the incident.

    St. Charles Police said the customer saw the 26-year-old suspect leave the SUV with a backpack and enter a QuikTrip where he threatened the clerk with a knife, according to KSDK.

    The witness then grabbed his 9mm handgun, went into the store, and confronted the suspect, according to the news release from St. Charles police.

    “The release said the suspect allegedly grabbed his backpack and said to the customer “I have something for you,” and approached the customer from behind the front counter,” the news outlet reported. “The customer then shot at the suspect “several times,” until the suspect fell on the floor. Both the customer and the clerk then called 911. Neither person was injured.”

    Georgia’s state election commission is alleging that the New Georgia Project, an election group founded by Stacey Abrams, didn’t disclose millions in expenses.

    They claim that the New Georgia project didn’t disclose $3 million in electioneering expenses and over $4 million in political contributions. This is required by law.

    Georgia officials this week alleged that an election group founded by state Democratic superstar Stacey Abrams worked in partnership with an action fund and failed to report upwards of $7 million in spending as required by state law.

  21. New York Sues 10 Gun Companies Over Alleged ‘Ghost Gun’ Parts Distribution

    York filed suit against ten national gun distributors Wednesday, alleging they illegally sold so-called “ghost gun” frames and receivers to the public.

    The lawsuit, filed by New York Attorney General Letitia James, alleges that the defendants sold the “unfinished” frames and receivers without a background check or traceable record of sale. The defendants allegedly violated federal law of selling firearms without a serial number in order for law enforcement to trace them during a crime scene.

    The 10 distributors include Blackhawk Manufacturing Group, Salvos Technologies, Brownells Inc and Indie Guns LLC, according to the suit.

    A large cargo aircraft has crashed and exploded in a ball of flames near Paleochori Kavalas in northern Greece.

    Eye-witnesses said the Antonov An-12 plane was on fire and that they had heard explosions as it flew over the area on Saturday night, Athens News Agency reported.

    A local man, Giorgos Archontopoulos, told state broadcaster ERT television he had felt something was wrong as soon as he heard the aircraft’s engine.

    “At 22.45 I was surprised by the sound of the engine of the aircraft,” he said. “I went outside and saw the engine on fire.”

    Local officials said seven fire engines had been deployed to the crash site but that they could not approach because of the ongoing explosions.

    According to media reports, the cargo aircraft was travelling from Serbia to Jordan and had requested clearance to make an emergency landing at nearby Kavala airport, but did not reach the destination.

    State-run broadcaster ERT television reported that it was an Ukrainian aircraft, which according to villagers was already in flames before it crashed.

    There is no official information about the number of people on board the aircraft, which was still burning according to live footage broadcast on state television.

    But ERT reported that the plane was carrying eight people and that its cargo “was dangerous”. Police were asking journalists at the scene to wear masks, the report added.

    “You need to go away for your safety. There is an information that the aircraft was carrying ammunition’, one firefighter told reporters at the scene.

    “The aircraft crashed around two kilometres (one mile) away from an inhabited area,” Filippos Anastasiadis, mayor of the nearby town of Paggaio, told Open TV.
