Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

  5. Dr. Kory really is “generous”. The monstrous perps of this crime against humanity will not simply “double down” to save their bacon. Given the normal human response to “defend one’s purchase” (a great Eeyore coinage), it is reasonable to expect these special criminals will not stop until all contradicting voices are silenced, all unvaxxed control groups eliminated, and all courts of opinion coerced.

    • In 1982 Boris Johnson’s father, wrote a book The Marburg Virus, renamed The Virus. It is about the government releasing a deadly virus into the population as a cover control through forced vaccination.

      Gavi states that Marburg Virus is a deadly cousin of Ebola, it kills 9 out of 10 people it infects. It can persist in the eyes and testes of recovered people and persist in pregnant women in the placenta, amniotic fluid and Brest milk.

      It kills 88% of the people it infects and spreads through bodily fluids, fruit bats, green monkeys. Pigs can also be infected ( will that be the next form of food the WHO will need to destroy)?

      Symptoms
      Fever, headache, muscle pain, followed by watery diarrhea, stomach pain, nausea and vomiting, extreme exhaustion and lethargy. many people go on to develop severe haemorrhagic fever, blood in their vomit and faeces and May bleed from the nose, gums and vagina. Eight or nine days after infection, they die from extreme loss of blood. Patients appear “ghost-like” from severe loss of blood and shock.

      Are Klaus Schwab, and the rest of the mad eugenists going to actually peddle Marburg as the next pandemic? When in history has there ever been back to back pandemics? Why are Biden, Trudeau, Gates, Yuval Harari, WHO and many other politician, psychopaths planting the seed of another virus already?

My old friend (and I do mean he’s really old but sharp and pithy as ever), Ray McGovern, provides an engaging and stimulating hour briefing on the current situation between Russia and Ukraine and, more importantly, gives you the critical history essential to understand what is going on today. The video lasts a little more than an hour and you will be happy you took the time to watch.

    Ray was the CIA briefer for the first President Bush during the dissolution of the Soviet Union and helped President Bush understand Mikhail Gorbachev. Watch the video and you will appreciate why President Bush listened to this man (sort of).

    The viral story, repeated this week in a speech by Joe Biden, that a 10-year-old rape victim was forced to travel across state lines to get an abortion after being raped, has come into question after a Washington Post fact-checker found the story to be largely unfounded.

    The one-source story was provided to an Indiana news outlet by Indianapolis obstetrician-gynecologist Dr. Caitlin Bernard last week, a doctor who is an outspoken pro-abortion activist.

The law targets opposition parties if they deny the armed aggression against Ukraine. The law includes actions that support the Russian Federation and Republic of Belarus, the two invading countries.

    One of the more popular complaints of the contemporary left is that the Constitution subverts “democracy” for “minority rule.”

    If the United States is really more divided than ever, we have even less reason to dispense with the mechanisms and institutions that diffuse power and constrain one side of the divide from lording over the other. Institutions like the Electoral College and the Senate temper divisions.

    Yet, the anti-constitutionalists’ argument usually has two strands that (illogically) intersect. The first is to assert that the Constitution is a work of slave-owning white men who used antiquated and counterproductive ideas that undermine modernity. The second is to argue that we have absolutely no idea what the founders intended, anyway.

          Here he gives a sober warning to those who indulge in “chest-thumping”, figuring Nato has their back. That’s an illusion.

          If one of them commits an actual act of war against Russia, like a blockade of Kaliningrad, Putin will declare war against that country. A Nato ally who joins the enemy of Russia invites a nuke on its capital city. No bluffing here.

          Turkey will renounce Nato first. Then the others. It’ll collapse like a house of cards.

          Russian military doctrine is “escalate to de-escalate”. Putin will do it, no question. And he’s among the most moderate within their system, so off-ing him is no solution.

          The USSR built all its industrial zones and public buildings with immense underground fortresses. With provisions to withstand a nuclear strike. The MADD mindset is not the deterrent we like to imagine.

          Israelis have no such illusions.

    The Canadian government says it will allow Germany to return controversial turbines being serviced in Canada to Russia’s Gazprom, which has blamed the turbines for its decision to halve the flow of gas.

    The turbines from the Nord Stream 1 pipeline had been sent to Montreal for a scheduled overhaul but their return has been complicated by sanctions imposed on Russia over the war in Ukraine. Germany has pressed Canada to let it return the turbines to Russia despite the sanctions and despite Russia’s continued assault on Ukraine.

    Canada’s minister of natural resources, Jonathan Wilkinson, said in a statement late Saturday that “Canada will grant a time-limited and revocable permit for Siemens Canada to allow the return of repaired Nord Stream 1 turbines to Germany.”

    That, Wilkinson said in the statement posted on Twitter, will support “Europe’s ability to access reliable and affordable energy as they continue to transition away from Russian oil and gas.”

    He said that “absent a necessary supply of natural gas, the German economy will suffer very significant hardship.”

    Siemens Energy said after Gazprom started reducing gas flows in mid-June that it had been unable to return a gas turbine that powers a compressor station on the pipeline, which had been overhauled after more than 10 years in service, to the customer, Gazprom.

    German politicians have dismissed the Russian explanation for the 60 per cent reduction in gas flows through Nord Stream 1, saying that equipment shouldn’t have been a significant issue until the fall and the Russian decision was a political gambit to sow uncertainty and push up prices.

    “We must not fool ourselves: The cut in gas supplies is an economic attack on us by (Russian President Vladimir) Putin,” Economy Minister Robert Habeck said in a statement last month, adding Germans would have to reduce consumption.

    Gas rationing would hopefully be avoided but cannot be ruled out, Habeck said and warned:

    “From now on, gas is a scarce commodity in Germany … We are therefore now obliged to reduce gas consumption, now already in summer.”

    The Canadian move comes before Nord Stream 1 is due to shut down for annual maintenance on Monday.

    In previous summers, the work led to a roughly 10-day shutdown, but German Vice Chancellor Robert Habeck has said he suspects that Russia may cite “some little technical detail” as a reason not to resume gas deliveries.

    The reduction in gas flows comes as Germany and the rest of Europe try to reduce their dependence on Russian energy imports. Germany, which has Europe’s biggest economy, gets about 35 per cent of its gas to power industry and generate electricity from Russia.

    Last month, Habeck activated the second phase of Germany’s three-stage emergency plan for natural gas supplies, warning that Europe’s biggest economy faced a “crisis” and storage targets for the winter were at risk.

    OTTAWA, July 9 (Reuters) – Canada will return a repaired turbine to Germany that is needed for the Nord Stream 1 gas pipeline and could help to ensure continued flows of energy until Europe can end its dependency on Russian gas, Canada’s minister of natural resources said.

    The Canadian government said in a statement on Saturday it was issuing a “time-limited and revocable permit” to exempt the return of turbines from its Russian sanctions and also announced new measures against Moscow in response to its invasion of Ukraine on Feb. 24.

    Russia last month cited the delayed return of the turbine, which Germany’s Siemens Energy has been servicing in Canada, as the reason behind its reduction of flows to 40% of capacity through the Nord Stream 1 gas pipeline to Europe. read more

    The Canadian government said shipping the turbine to Europe would support: “Europe’s ability to access reliable and affordable energy as they continue to transition away from Russian oil and gas”.

    It was not clear how long it would take for the turbine to be returned and Siemens Energy did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

    The Kremlin on Friday said it would increase gas supplies to Europe if the turbine were returned, while Ukraine has said returning the equipment would breach sanctions.

    In addition to the special permit for the turbine, Canada said it would expand sanctions against Russia’s energy sector to include industrial manufacturing.

    Canada’s new sanctions “will apply to land and pipeline transport and the manufacturing of metals and of transport, computer, electronic and electrical equipment, as well as of machinery,” it said.

    A German government spokesperson said Germany welcomed “the decision of our Canadian friends and allies”.

    Ukraine, however, was dismayed.

    Alexandra Chyczij, national president of the Ukrainian Canadian Congress, said in a statement on Saturday that Canada had set “a dangerous precedent that will lead to the weakening of the sanctions regime imposed on Russia”.

    “Our community is deeply disappointed by the Canadian government’s decision to bow to Russian blackmail,” it said.

    Canadian Foreign Affairs Minister Melanie Joly said on Saturday in a statement that “Canada is unwavering in its support of Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity … Canada will not relent in pressuring the Russian regime”.

      A quietly released study from the U.N. Human Rights Commissioner [See Here pdf] looking into allegations of war crimes conducted during the Ukraine -vs- Russia conflict, specifically looked into allegations of Russian military targeting a nursing home facility in the eastern region of Luhansk.

      What the UN investigation revealed was that Ukraine military soldiers had intentionally used the nursing home as an active base to launch military strikes against Russian forces. The Associated Press was forced to reveal, “Ukraine’s armed forces bear a large, and perhaps equal, share of the blame for what happened in Stara Krasnyanka, which is about 580 kilometers (360 miles) southeast of Kyiv. A few days before the attack, Ukrainian soldiers took up positions inside the nursing home, effectively making the building a target.”

      The issue of the Ukraine military, intentionally and with purposeful forethought, using civilian locations to embed their military units, highlights the inherent dangers associated with western propaganda during the conflict. In fact, the effort to create civilian casualties seems more purposeful as a strategy to gain western media support and create stories that can be used to advance sympathy toward Ukraine, even if it means putting their own civilians in harm’s way.

      Keep in mind, the United States is funding Ukraine to fight this war. Without U.S. funding, including the shipments of weapons, the training of military units and the embedding of U.S. special forces to assist the Ukraine military, Ukraine and Russian governments would have likely entered into peace negotiations.

    The pro-abortion left’s attacks on churches, pro-life centers and Supreme Court Justices continued this weekend with attacks on churches in the Washington, D.C. suburb of Bethesda, Maryland. An arson fire was set at Saint Jane De Chantel Catholic Church early Sunday. There were no injuries in the overnight fire that damaged pews and caused a reported $50,000 in damages. St. Jane’s had been vandalized the previous night.

    Another church in that area was also attacked this weekend. Twenty-four hours before early Saturday the North Bethesda United Methodist Church was also vandalized, though details of that attack are conflicting with reports that there was an arson fire

    A new study published in the New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM) has demonstrated that people who are triple-vaccinated (boosted) against COVID recover significantly more slowly from COVID infection and remain contagious for longer than people who are not vaccinated at all…

    At five days post-infection, less than 25 percent of unvaccinated people were still contagious, whereas around 70 percent of boosted people were still carrying viable virus particles. For those partially vaccinated, around 50 percent were still contagious at this point.

    Even more strikingly, at ten days post-infection, one-third of boosted people (31 percent) were found to still be carrying live, culturable virus. By contrast, just six percent of unvaccinated people were still contagious at day 10.

    In other words, people who have received a booster shot are five times more likely still to be contagious at ten days post-infection than are unvaccinated people.

    The findings go a long way to explaining why Paxlovid, Pfizer’s anti-viral medication, is often not effective for people who have been vaccinated against COVID, with many experiencing a recurrence of symptoms along with a positive COVID test after completing the five-day regimen (as recently occurred with quadruple-vaccinated Dr. Anthony Fauci). This phenomenon is known as COVID rebound.

    Huge Israeli study disproves link between COVID & heart inflammation

    A recently published study by researchers from Hebrew University and Tel Aviv University indicates that COVID infection is not linked to myocarditis or pericarditis (inflammation of the heart muscle or the heart’s outer lining).

    The retrospective cohort study compared a group of almost 200 thousand people who had been infected with COVID, with a matched control group of almost 600 thousand people, following them between March of 2020 and January of 2021 (to eliminate any effect produced by vaccination).

    Nine post-COVID patients developed myocarditis (0.0046%) and eleven developed pericarditis (0.0056%). In the control group, 27 patients developed myocarditis (0.0046%) and 52 developed pericarditis (0.0088%).

    The researchers concluded that, “Post COVID-19 infection was not associated with either myocarditis or pericarditis.”
