Reader’s Links for April 15th, 2022

Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

  1. Like divining for water, there can be no substitutes.

Yesterday I wrote about price discovery. It’s becoming THE subject in the sense that the world is awakening to its own thirst. In the money context it means that we have truly come to the end of the road in terms of what is real. Vladimir Putin, evil or not, has imposed this harshest of realities–one invited by petulant, scheming Western politicians. He has declared that there will be no more substitutes for international settlement of accounts with Russia. It is the oldest story in the book. IOU nothings are no longer acceptable. It’s almost as if we are back in 1913.

In 1913 JP Morgan and friends pulled the mother of the derivatives loaf out of their bankers’ oven. It has been “game-on” from then to now. Dollar credits were born to a world unaware of the seductive 2% ponzi it was roped into. The derivative-making machine would be limited only by the expansive human imagination.

Without the requirement for real debt settlement the gaming never really ended. Wars waged, country maps were redrawn, financial tulips sprouted into an infinite field of Wall Street instruments–derivatives of gold and silver bullion never shipped for final settlement of accounts. This means that 109 years have passed since every piper has been paid. In full. Imagine that.

Absurd political movements like every shade of collectivism is a derivative of 1913. Yes, that’s it, I will refer to all derivatives in terms of their birth year and not the dollar. Time is money, don’tcha know. Time seems easier on the debtor when the clock is stretched for his final payment. The lender is satisfied because he is paid interest for the delay of last payment, and he is very, very patient. Through every machination of man–this means every science, philosophy, endeavor and scam–someone must pay.

In an related tangent, I once flew West to be married. On the plane I had the pleasure to sit beside my future wife’s good friend who was part of the wedding party. In talking I imparted an observation I had made on relationships. I told her that every single relationship in our lives is an excersize in accounting. We count little pluses and minuses even if this is done not quite consciously. We count fewer minuses for those we love most. Let that be the litmus for who you let go.

That women went on to marry a bum, Uncle Vlad loves us less, and he is doing more for our own reconciliation than we are capable of doing for ourselves.

So price discovery is a derivative of reality discovery.

Purple-haired, nose-ringed, woke-arsed, infinitely-sexed, climate-humping, Davos-loving, war-mongering, Agenda 30-making charlatans are all–every single one–derivatives of the absent final settlement of accounts. And this does not mean that they don’t all have mothers who love them, lest I sound overly harsh, but they clearly are missing a few good fathers to punch through their bedroom doors because it is time to wake up to reality. Poor things.

To be honest, rectifying the mistake that was 1913 doesn’t relieve humanity of itself. Rather, it just puts sober daddy back in the room.

  2. Hopefully the immoral undemocratic manipulative executive of the Federal Conservative party will not be in a position to thwart the anointing of a real

  3. SWEDEN: Allah Akhbar VS Rasmus Paludan

Thursday afternoon, riots broke out in the Skäggetorp district of Linköping. At the origin of this protest movement, the organization of a conference on Islam by Danish politician Rasmus Paludan in this district, known for its high density of immigrants. Paludan had been known in the past for burning copies of the Koran as part of these meetings.

This conference, which coincided with the month of Ramadan, could not be held, giving way to violent riots. The police were taken completely by surprise and forced to flee. Several police officers were forced to abandon their vehicles on the spot. The rioters then looted and burned the abandoned vehicles. In the videos, a young man can be seen walking around with a stolen uniform.

Videos show how angry immigrants climbed onto the roofs of several police cars chanting “Allahu akbar.”

Three police officers were taken to hospital after being injured in the chaos.

  4. Scores injured as Palestinians and Israeli security forces clash at al-Aqsa mosque

The footage from inside the mosque is especially interesting. Police stormed it because there was a stockpile of stones (and other projectiles?) inside, then the stockpile was actually used.
Whoever was doing the pelting had no respect for the mosque, imho.

  5. Salah Abdeslam: Accused Paris attacker apologises to victims
The main defendant in the trial over the 2015 Paris attacks has apologised to victims at the end of his testimony.
Prosecutors say Salah Abdeslam, 32, is the only surviving member of the so-called Islamic State cell that targeted Paris that night, killing 130 people.
“I wish to express my condolences and offer an apology to all the victims,” he told the court.
Prosecutors say his suicide belt malfunctioned, but Salah Abdeslam said he had changed his mind.
He is facing charges of murder as part of an organised terrorist gang but is not accused of killing anyone personally. He began his testimony by pointing out that he himself had killed or injured no-one.
“I know that hatred remains… I ask you today that you hate me with moderation,” Salah Abdeslam told the court in a tearful statement. “I ask you to forgive me.”
His apology marked the end of his testimony, after remaining silent in the early days of the trial, apart from occasionally railing against the court.
One of his defence lawyers asked him if he regretted not carrying out his plan to kill.
“I don’t regret it. I didn’t kill these people and I didn’t die,” he replied.
“I would like to say today that this story of November 13 was written with the blood of the victims. It is their story, and I was part of it,” he added.
“They are linked to me and I am linked to them,” he said in a quivering voice.
The attacks took place on 13 November when a 10-man squad of heavily armed jihadists targeted several sites across Paris, including the Bataclan concert hall and Stade de France.
Nine of the attackers either blew themselves up or were shot dead. French-Moroccan Salah Abdeslam is thought to be the last survivor of the group.
It is believed that he travelled to Paris from his home in Brussels along with the other attackers and was intending to blow himself up. Why he failed to do so – technical malfunction or a last-minute change of mind – is a key question the victims’ families want answered.
He has claimed he had planned to blow himself up in a crowded bar but changed his mind after seeing the people whom he was about to kill.
Salah Abdeslam faces a life sentence if convicted. He has already been handed a jail sentence by a Belgian court for his part in a shootout in Brussels with police that led to his arrest.
