Reader’s Links for October 10, 2021

Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

  1. I just had a long talk to my better half: she is in solitary, as no vaccine, and has had plenty of time to think. She wanted me to bring her a bell so that she could walk around her room/cell ringing it and shouting “Unclean! Unclean!”

    Her thoughts:
“I boggle about the blatancy of the globalists who obviously are so convinced that they have the useful idiots ,all well and truly on a leash, that they can use a demented old political has-been and an ignorant, brash, “diversity” symbol to lead a country via an obviously fraudulent election and no one in the DoJ or the judiciary or the military or the houses even challenges this, let alone the MSM or social media .

What is more, is that they, all over the world(NSW health minister, Financial Times etc.) are no longer even troubling to hide not only their NWO agenda but the replacement of whites who have always been at the forefront of freedom wars by those who are used to and have accepted virtual slavery for millennia: Africa, the muslim ME and Asia, especially China.

The arrogance of the elite is overwhelming as they must be so certain that they have already won if they come out so openly.”

I am finished here now as she is not impressed with my “trespass” but I wish to thank all those who mentioned her.

And Wall St. In the muddle–er, middle?

Wall St. is the epicentre and creator of most shadow-bank financial instruments. The shadow banking industry is worth hundreds of trillions of dollars on paper. It consists of gimmicks such as, most famously, mortgage-backed securities bundled and rehypothecated until nobody knows where the real houses even are. Or IF they even are. And they are graded A, even though their sub-prime content was kicked down the road in ’08/09 because most of the cons were “too big to fail”. So they sacrificed a couple (Lehman+) on the alter of mollification and called it a day. Until now.

And ever since Clinton under Greenspan banned the natural seven-year business cycle, the kindling in the malinvestment forest has been permitted to pile up. Malinvestment is badly-allocated capital. It must be burned, cyclically, to keep the forest healthy. Bad capital abundance is rectilinearly bolted to cheap money. Money has not been this cheap for this long in the history of money. Finish it yourself.

So, before Xi executes his financial advisors he must first shoot himself.

Wall Street talks its book to find more sucker money to extend and pretend its lousy position in Red China, while it secretly pulls out whatever it can as fast as it can. Main Street shoots Wall Street.

Deutsch Bank awaits its fate as the largest single pile of bone-dry kindling in the forest. Paul Achleitner and Chris Sewing will be found holding hands in their exhaust-filled Mercedes. (How tragic that the electric vehicle revolution will bring an end to executive suicide-by-vehicular exhaust).

Central banks from Russia, Hungary, Poland, Kazakhstan, and many others have been quietly watching, and stacking.

Incidentally don’t forget, Canada’s Dear Leader made a point of selling his country’s last vaulted gold his first month in office. It amounted to relatively nothing so can only be construed as a signal of grand Keynesian suckerdom and fealty to Soros who surely pleasures himself by such displays.

And the hypocrisy of it all.

Lately I’ve been a bit of a swear bear. I should probably shut-up for a while. Sometimes it’s hard to watch it all.

    • reuters – Delta does not appear to make children sicker; Secondary immune response stronger after infection than after shot

Oct 8 (Reuters) – The following is a summary of some recent studies on COVID-19. They include research that warrants further study to corroborate the findings and that have yet to be certified by peer review.

Delta variant does not appear to make children sicker

The Delta variant of the coronavirus does not appear to cause more severe disease in children than earlier forms of the virus, a UK study suggests. Earlier this year, the research team found the Alpha variant of the virus did not appear to make children sicker than the so-called wild, or original, form of the virus, first seen in China. New data suggests that kids also do not get any sicker from Delta than they did from Alpha.

Researchers compared two groups of school-age children with COVID-19: 694 infected with the Alpha variant between late December 2020 and early May 2021, and 706 infected with Delta between late May and early July. As reported on Thursday on medRxiv ahead of peer review, children infected with Delta had slightly more symptoms. But in both groups, very few children needed to be hospitalized and long periods of illness were uncommon. In both groups, half of the children were sick for no more than five days.

The researchers lacked information on differences between the groups that might have influenced the results, such as whether lockdowns were in place, and the effects of different seasons. “Our data suggest that clinical characteristics of COVID-19 due to the Delta variant in children are broadly similar to COVID-19 due to other variants,” the researchers concluded.

That appears to jibe with data reported by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). “Although we are seeing more cases in children … these studies demonstrated that there was not increased disease severity in children,” CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky said of the Delta-driven wave in a statement.

“More children have COVID-19 because there is more disease in the community.”

Secondary immune response stronger after infection than vaccination

In COVID-19 survivors, important components of the body’s immune response called memory B cells continue to evolve and get stronger for at least several months, producing highly potent antibodies that can neutralize new variants of the virus, a new study has found. By comparison, vaccine-induced memory B cells are less robust, evolving for only a few weeks and never “learning” to protect against variants, researchers reported in a paper published on Thursday in Nature.

COVID-19 vaccines do induce more antibodies than the immune system does after a coronavirus infection. But the immune system response to infection appears to outshine its response to vaccines when it comes to memory B cells.

Regardless of whether antibodies are induced by infection or vaccine, their levels drop within six months in many people. But memory B cells stand ready to produce new antibodies if the body encounters the virus. Prior to this study, there had been little data on how vaccine-induced B cells compare to infection-induced B cells. The researchers caution that the benefits of stronger memory B cells after infection do not outweigh the risks that come with COVID-19.

!!!!!!!!!!”While a natural infection may induce maturation of antibodies with broader activity than a vaccine does, a natural infection can also kill you,” said study leader Michel Nussenzweig of Rockefeller University, in a statement. >b> “A vaccine won’t do that and, in fact, protects against the risk of serious illness or death from infection.” !!!!!!!!!!

    • Hacker arrested in France for theft of COVID-19 tests for 1.4 million Parisians

French police have detained a 22-year-old suspect on the accusation of breaching a Paris hospital, stealing, and then leaking the COVID-19 test results of more than 1.4 million patients.

The suspect, whose name was not released by authorities, was arrested on Wednesday, October 6, in the village of Ollioules dans le Var, in the south of France, according to a press release from the Paris police.

French newspaper Le Journal du Dimanche, which first reported the arrest earlier today, said the suspect admitted to his crime in police custody.

Hackers steal Covid test data of 1.4 million people from Paris hospital system

[…]The data stolen includes the names, social security numbers, contact information and results for those tested in mid-2020 in the Paris, area, as well as the names and contact information for the health professionals treating them.

No other health information was stolen, said AP-HP as the attack was a system used only in September 2020 to transmit information to the national Covid contact-tracing system, SI-DEP, which was having problems. That system was affected by the hack.

The Paris hospital system says access to the compromised service has since been cut, as investigations continue to find the origin and the mode of the hack.

[…]Earlier this month, Covid test results and identifying information for 700,000 people were leaked, after a breach in a platform built for pharmacists to interface with the secure SI-DEP system.

French hospitals have been the targets of hackers and ransomware attacks since the start of the Covid epidemic.

French teenager arrested for trying to enter hospital with President Emmanuel Macron’s vaccine passport – media

A French teen has reportedly been arrested and fined for attempting to enter a hospital using the health pass data of President Emmanuel Macron, which had been leaked online. He said he impersonated the president “just for fun.”

The 19-year-old presented Macron’s QR code at the door of a hospital in Marseille earlier this week, but didn’t fool security guards, who let him enter before calling the police. The teen was then arrested and taken into police custody, according to multiple reports in French media.

He was later released and given a fine for “presentation of a health document belonging to a third party.” The teen reportedly said he did not have a ‘health pass’ of his own, and decided to use the president’s data “just for fun.”

Macron’s data was leaked online last month – allegedly by a healthcare worker with access to the government’s vaccination database – along with the data of Prime Minister Jean Castex, which was scanned from a press photo. An investigation was launched following the leaks, and the QR codes of Macron and Castex were deactivated.

Introduced during the summer, France’s ‘health pass’ system requires citizens to present proof of vaccination or a negative coronavirus test to access bars, restaurants, shopping malls or public transport, among other locations. The system has proven controversial, and thousands of protesters have flooded the streets of Paris and other major cities almost every weekend since its introduction.

    • NYT – Pfizer to vaccinate entire city in Brazil as part of study.

In the southwestern Brazilian city of Toledo, you won’t find much vaccine skepticism. About 98 percent eligible residents there have received at least one dose of a Covid vaccine, according to municipal officials.

Most received the vaccine offered by Pfizer, and this week the drug maker said that presented an opportunity: Pfizer announced that it would fully vaccinate everyone in the city over the age of 12 so it can carry out a study of the safety and effectiveness of the vaccine.

The company will work with local health officials, a hospital, a university and Brazil’s national vaccination program to monitor the transmission of the coronavirus in a “real-life scenario” after the whole population has been vaccinated with the Pfizer-BioNTech serum, Pfizer said.

The study will follow participants for up to one year to investigate how long vaccine protection lasts against Covid-19 and new virus variants.

“Here we believe in science and we lament the almost 600,000 deaths from Covid-19 in Brazil,” Mayor Beto Lunitti of Toledo said in announcing the Pfizer study.

The study comes after the experimental inoculation of almost every adult in the southeastern Brazilian town of Serrana. That experiment was believed to be the first mass trial of its kind in which an entire town was vaccinated against the coronavirus before the rest of the country.

The experiment in Serrana was conducted over three months in winter and spring. Sinovac’s Covid-19 vaccine was put to the test in the town of 45,000. It was a resounding success, with steep drops in new cases, hospitalizations and deaths, at a time when the rest of Brazil was in the grip of the pandemic.

Brazil has suffered one of the world’s highest death tolls from the pandemic. About 600,000 people have died from Covid-19 in Brazil, according to a New York Times database. Though many experts believe the true death toll may be higher, that is the world’s second-highest death toll. More than 710,000 Americans have died.

Brazil’s president, Jair Bolsonaro, has been ambivalent about the importance of vaccines. Many Brazilians have expressed anger at how slowly their government acquired vaccines and a corruption scandal involving vaccine deals.

  9. Greece Adjusts Its Strategy Amid Shifting Middle Eastern Alliances

Over the past two to three years, Greece has made a large-scale effort to bolster security ties with partners inside and outside the Eastern Mediterranean amid rising tensions with Turkey, its traditional rival and occasional adversary.

As Turkey has increased its operational footprint and political influence in the region, Greece has worked to transition the Eastern Mediterranean Gas Forum (EMGF) from an energy organization into an informal political and security coalition that spans from Greece’s immediate periphery in the Eastern Mediterranean to the Arabian Gulf….

Greece is especially concerned that Turkey’s naval expansion and the sharpening rhetoric toward Greece that often crosses the line into bellicosity will lead to an armed conflict – a scenario that would thrust NATO, of which Greece and Turkey are both members, into an existential predicament. Athens has sought to build these new partnerships to create an extra-European diplomatic and military hedge against potential Turkish aggression in the Aegean Sea.

Germany will go Turk over Greek. France will go Gaullist to snub Anglos. NATO doesn't inspire confidence.

However, a recent alignment between Turkey and key members of the EMGF and Gulf allies is causing Greece to recalculate its strategy. The onset of rapprochement between Ankara, Cairo, Abu Dhabi, and Riyadh has raised concerns in Athens about the sustainability of its informal coalition in the Mediterranean.

    Free-for-all. Hudna, at best.

Yet as the United States’ status as a military guarantor in the Middle East fades and U.S. planners seek new basing options straddling several continents, Greece is identifying new opportunities to counterbalance Turkey.
Great Game. Put in East Med. in context of Caucasus.

    • Azerbaijan’s Dangerous New Escalations

After its decisive victory in the 2020 war with Armenia over Nagorno-Karabakh, Azerbaijan has begun to further escalate tensions in the region with a military push into Armenia proper.
Russia let Armenians down in 2020, deferred to the Filthy Turk, aren’t present as peace-keepers on the ground now.

So they’re turning to the U.S. as defenders human rights and democracy:

The U.S. rhetorical response to some of these developments has been unequivocal. A State Department spokeswoman stated May 15 that Azerbaijan must immediately leave Armenian territory, while National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan telephoned Aliyev on May 18 to further underscore the impermissibility of Baku’s actions.

      Lotsa luck.

    • 2020: Blue Homeland: The Heated Politics Behind Turkey’s New Maritime Strategy

“Mavi vatan,” or “blue homeland,” has become a common phrase in Turkish political life. It is most often used as a shorthand expression for Ankara’s maritime claims in the eastern Mediterranean. Central to these interests is the presence of large deposits of natural gas off the coast of the island of Cyprus.

For Turkey, the lion’s share of these deposits lies within what Turkey interprets is its exclusive economic zone. Such a stance, however, is at odds with claims made by Greece and the Republic of Cyprus…

The coining of the term “blue homeland” ultimately represents more than an act of political branding. To a large extent, it signals a somewhat dramatic shift in doctrine within Turkish political and military circles.…

[A] growing contingent of influential figures, including several former flag officers … share… disdain for the United States and what they often term the “Atlantic framework.”

On the whole, it is not clear what this developing consensus means for the future of Turkish relations with its neighbors, let alone for Ankara’s ties with NATO, the United States, or Russia.

At the very least, the preeminence of an increasingly doctrinaire approach toward Turkey’s “blue homeland” suggests greater amounts of tension within the eastern Mediterranean lie ahead….
If we do nothing when China grabs Spratly and Paracel Islands in the So.China Sea, or the Senkakus in the East China Sea, the filthy Turk will swallow its “Blue Homeland”.

New York City mayor Bill de Blasio has announced plans to cancel the “Gifted and Talented” accelerated learning program for schoolchildren, drawing praise from those who called the scheme discriminatory and condemnation from those who say it harms hardworking students.

Starting next fall, New York City will stop testing kindergartners for entry into the gifted and talented program, which was the subject of a lawsuit (pdf) that claimed the screens were “racially discriminatory” and fueled racial segregation in the school system.

“The era of judging 4-year-olds based on a single test is over,” de Blasio said in an Oct. 8 statement. “Every New York City child deserves to reach their full potential, and this new, equitable model gives them that chance.”

  14. Mushrooming Number Of GOP States Will Not Comply With Biden’s IRS Snoop

The number of GOP-led states which assert they will not comply with the Biden administration proposal to force banks to hand over transaction data over $600 to the IRS is starting to mushroom.

On Wednesday, after West Virginia and Nebraska had already indicated they would not comply, Missouri state treasurer Scott Fitzpatrick asserted, “I will stand up to this government overreach and protect the privacy of those account holders. Turning over their transaction data to the federal government is illegal under Missouri law and a gross violation of Missourians’ expectation of privacy when it comes to their personal financial records. I will not turn this information over to the IRS voluntarily and will fight in court to block any attempt by the federal government to compel my office to comply with this mandate.”

  15. Globalist Bill Gates’ Comments on Depopulation Come Back to Haunt Him
    4-5 minutes

In his own mind, Bill Gates is a hero who’s building a better future. In reality, Bill Gates is a twisted globalist psychopath. He wants to control the world’s population, food, and information in order to create a bizarre high-tech slave colony.

Does that sound far-fetched? It’s literally already happening. Look how many businesses have been destroyed by COVID restrictions passed down through globalist mouthpieces like the World Health Organization and the UN.

What Gates wants is fairly simple and he’s never been shy about it: a small, high-tech elite doing what’s best for people (in their view), and much fewer people living on this planet. Spin it any way you like, but that’s the truth about Bill Gates. Want proof?
