Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

  1. Dr. Elizabeth Lee Vliet
Journey through Covid with a US Senator and Frontline Physician
    by DrLee4America – Podcast – June 7, 2021

A fascinating first-person story on the journey through Covid, through the eyes of a citizen legislator and a frontline physician actively treating Covid patients early to keep them out of the hospital. Senator Ron Johnson, along with DrLee4America, MD, connect the dots from the early days of the pandemic and lockdown, raising many questions along the way. What lessons were learned? What insights were gained about ways to avoid the massive “collateral” damage of lockdowns and failure to treat people early at home when the illness was less severe?

Smugglers transporting illegal migrants across the border have been operating at a new level of sophistication, according to two sheriffs in the Houston area.

Sheriffs Justin Marr of Victoria County and A.J. Louderback of Jackson County told the Washington Examiner that deputies in their area are used to encounters with groups of immigrants, but their actions are more violent than they have seen before.

For most immigrants making their way across the border, Houston is their first stop after making it past the Rio Grande Valley and Laredo regions.

    • Pay close attention to the 3 videos above, they are more important then most people think.

The Chinese economy is in slow motion collapse, Xi and his lap dog Biden will do all they can to prevent the collapse but given what is happening to the rest of the worlds economy they will fail. As the last video states China is an export economy that has stolen all of the high tech knowledge that it now uses to keep control of the Chinese population and exports to the rest of the world.

The Chinese Communist Party is afraid of innovation which is why they crack down on any and all groups that grow capable of innovation. Xi is cracking down on the internal Chinese Tech giants for several reasons but the two most important are that the growth is giving them money enough to become a danger to the CCPs control of China. And that their growth and wealth gives them the Investment Capital to pay for the research to create their own tech growth and innovation. New innovation by non government actors can create the tech that the Chinese People can use to defeat the surveillance systems that are used to control the Chinese People.

These factors are causing the CCP to attack and crush the very business’ and business men that they need to pull their economy out of the rapidaly growing death spiral they are entering. This death spiral is currently slow motion and Xi and the CCP will grow desperate to change the direction China is heading. This will be done by using every means and weapon they can. In his latest video Brad Johnson talks about how Covid is hitting the Indians harder then they do everyone else, was the virus designed to attack India to weaken one of China’s strongest neighbors?

If this is the case will they use bioengineering to design more bio weapons to attack other nations as the CCP tries to find the hard currencies they need to survive. Will they use open conventional military force on India and Taiwan?

Will the collapse of the Chinese Economy be the cause of the worlds economy to collapse to bring about what the ultra rich think of as the Great Reset? Or will the Great Resit be what brings about the collapse of the Chinese economy?

      • was the virus designed to attack India to weaken one of China’s strongest neighbors?

Kasuko says people in Japan believe their current variant targeted them specifically, but we don’t think the technology is that good.
Yet – it’ll take a few more iterations.

Xi will take China to war in the event of an economic collapse. Take the world down with him. The PLA is just as driven by hate and revenge fantasies as the Japanese before WW2.

  3. Morocco: Country issues vaccine passport to fully vaccinated residents

Morocco introduced a vaccine passport for residents who received both COVID-19 vaccine jabs, as of June 7, becoming the first country in the region to do so.

Some residents were seen obtaining their vaccination pass in Mohammedia on Wednesday.

Vaccine passport holders are eligible to bypass the night curfew and freely travel both domestically and internationally.

“The vaccination passport, which is granted to people who have received two doses of the vaccine, is a document that allows them to move freely around the country and also to travel abroad and back,” said Director of the Laboratory of Virology at Hassan II University in Casablanca, Moulay Mustapha Ennaji.

Residents may present their vaccine passport either electronically or in a printed version.

Locals, such as Halima Barrada, have reacted positively to the initiative.

“I came here to get the vaccination passport, and this is a good thing, because it’ll let us get out and about, so it feels good,” said Barrada.

The health passport is is the best guarantor that proves that the person is protected and is under cover of any subsequent infection.”

SOT, Dr Sahib Aisha, Director of Health Centre (French): “But what happened, after the announcement of the (vaccination) pass, is that even people with old appointments came – you should have seen it yesterday or the day before.”

SOT, Dr Sahib Aisha, Director of Health Centre (French): “It motivated people, it especially motivated young people. Old people said, ‘we are vulnerable.'”

SOT, Dr Sahib Aisha, Director of Health Centre (French): “But what was very important for young people is their freedom, to go out after 23:00, to travel without needing certificates.”

SOT, Muhammad Al-Bahwi, Vaccinated Moroccan Citizen (Arabic, French): “After the period of quarantine and the imposed procedures, I came here (to get the vaccination), so that one can protect oneself and protect one’s parents and family. In addition to that, one will be able to move freely, instead of entering a new phase (of the outbreak).”

The announcement comes after state officials warned that many unused doses would expire before the end of the month.

Johnson & Johnson said Thursday that U.S. regulators extended the expiration date on millions of doses of its Covid-19 vaccine by an extra six weeks.

[…]The extension will help maintain vaccine supplies even as the rate of new injections continues to slip. The country averaged about 800,000 new injections per day last week. That’s down from a high of nearly 2 million per day two months ago. Government officials have turned to a growing number of incentives to encourages shots — from paid time off to $1 million lottery prizes.

    • German panel gives limited approval for COVID-19 shot for adolescents

BERLIN (Reuters) – Germany’s vaccine advisory committee, known as STIKO, recommended on Thursday that only children and adolescents with pre-existing conditions should be given the coronavirus vaccine produced by Pfizer and partner BioNTech.

STIKO said in a statement that it recommends a vaccination only for those youngsters with an illness that raises their risk of a serious case of coronavirus.

It said it was not currently recommending the use of the vaccine for those aged 12-17 without pre-existing conditions, although noted doctors were allowed to give the shot if the individual accepts the risk.

Germany has said it plans to offer shots to children as young as 12 from June after the European health regulator authorised the vaccine for use in adolescents last month.

STIKO committee member Ruediger von Kriess, a paediatrics professor, said previously it might be preferable to endorse the vaccine for use in children only if they have risk factors given the lack of data on long-term effects.

STIKO recommends COVID vaccine only for minors with health conditions

Germany’s Standing Vaccination Commission (STIKO) has issued a recommendation stating that only children and adolescents with certain preexisting health conditions should be vaccinated against coronavirus.

STIKO recommends vaccine only for minors with health conditions

According to a draft resolution, due to be published on Thursday, STIKO will only recommend that children and adolescents get a coronavirus vaccination if they are suffering from certain illnesses. The recommendation applies to the BioNTech / Pfizer mRNA vaccine, which is currently the only jab authorised for use on minors in Europe.

STIKO will recommend that only minors aged 12 to 17 who have an increased risk of suffering a severe course of COVID-19 should get vaccinated. These risk factors include obesity, as well as conditions like heart failure, severe forms of cyanosis, immune system disorders, high blood pressure, lung diseases, chronic nervous system disorders, kidney disorders and malignant tumour diseases.

The vaccination commission further recommends that children and adolescents above the age of 12 should also be vaccinated if they have “relatives or other contact persons who are at high risk of a severe course of COVID-19 who cannot be vaccinated themselves” or if vaccination protection is deemed insufficient for these people – for instance if they have an immune system disorder.

STIKO advises all other children and adolescents against getting a coronavirus vaccination: “The use of Comirnaty [the name under which the BioNTech / Pfizer jab is sold] in children and adolescents aged 12 – 17 years without previous illnesses is currently not generally recommended,” the draft resolution states.

Anyone can have the jab following medical consultation

However, STIKO goes on to say that vaccination is possible “after medical advice and if the child or adolescent or their guardian accepts the risk, according to their individual wishes.” For instance, the individual would first have to have a consultation with a doctor.

It is important to note that STIKO’s role is purely to issue advice. The German federal government is free to accept or reject the commission’s recommendations as it sees fit. In this instance, Federal Health Minister Jens Spahn has pressed ahead and opened up vaccination appointments to everyone in Germany over the age of 12.

It remains to be seen if the guidelines will be adjusted after STIKO’s new recommendations are published.

      • Underlying illness, respiratory infection raise risk for severe COVID in kids

Of two new studies on severe COVID-19 in children, the first finds that more than one in four had an underlying medical condition, and the second shows that kids diagnosed as having acute lower respiratory tract infection (ALRI) were over twice as likely to require invasive mechanical ventilation.

Type 1 diabetes, obesity, heart problems
In the first study, published today in JAMA Network Open… researchers from the US [CDC] used data from 872 hospitals, to study 43,465 patients 18 and younger who visited an emergency department or were hospitalized for severe COVID-19 from March 2020 to January 2021.

They found that 28.7% of all COVID-19 patients had at least one chronic condition, the most common of which were asthma (10.2%), neurodevelopmental disorders (3.9%), anxiety and fear-related conditions (3.2%), depression (2.8%), and obesity (2.5%). Underlying illness were identified in 62.9% of hospitalized COVID-19 patients.

The strongest risk factors for hospitalization included type 1 diabetes (adjusted risk ratio [aRR], 4.60) and obesity (aRR, 3.07), while type 1 diabetes (aRR, 2.38) and cardiac and circulatory congenital disorders (aRR, 1.72) were the strongest risks for severe illness….

Among children younger than 2 years, prematurity was a risk factor for severe COVID-19 disease…

The researchers noted that amid the coronavirus pandemic, about two-thirds of patients were hospitalized with severe ALRIs [acute lower respiratory tract infection] without COVID-19.

“In 2016, 3 years before the beginning of the current COVID-19 pandemic, ALRI was estimated to cause 652,572 deaths among children younger than 5 years all over the world,” they wrote.

“Therefore, besides SARS-CoV-2, other causative agents remain causing severe ALRI.”

The authors said that clinicians should be aware that children with severe ALRI and COVID-19 need mechanical ventilation more often than other patients and that children with sickle cell disease should be prioritized for COVID-19 vaccination.

    • AUSTRALIA – NSW woman’s death ‘related’ to AstraZeneca vaccine

Chief Medical Officer Professor Paul Kelly says the AstraZeneca vaccine remains an “extremely important” component of the vaccine rollout after it was revealed a 52-year-old woman’s death was “related” to the jab.

Professor Kelly said the woman was administered the vaccine a couple of weeks ago and developed an “extremely rare” blood clotting event.

“It (AstraZeneca vaccine) remains an incredibly, extremely important part of our vaccine rollout with our large numbers of doses that are available here in Australia,” he said.

“It is absolutely key in relation to us becoming safe from COVID as a population here in Australia, and that remains the case.

“I will point out that this remains an extremely rare event to get these serious clots but when they happen, as we have seen in this case, it can have tragic consequences.”

The variant, also known as B.1.617.2, was the ‘primary cause’ behind India’s deadlier second wave, according to a government panel.

The coronavirus variant that drove India’s devastating Covid-19 epidemic is the most infectious to emerge so far. Doctors now want to know if it’s also more severe.

Hearing impairment, severe gastric upsets and blood clots leading to gangrene, symptoms not typically seen in Covid patients, have been linked by doctors in India to the so-called Delta variant. In England and Scotland, early evidence suggests the now-dominant strain carries a higher risk of hospitalization.

Delta, also known as B.1.617.2, has spread to more than 60 countries over the past six months and triggered travel curbs from Australia to the US A spike in infections, fueled by the Delta variant, has put pressure on the UK government to reconsider its plans of reopening later this month.

Higher rates of transmission compared with other variants, and a reduction in the effectiveness of vaccines, have made understanding the strain’s effects especially critical.

    • 178 staffers at Houston Methodist hospital suspended for not complying

A Texas hospital has suspended 178 staff members who refused to get the COVID-19 vaccine despite a mandate for staff to be inoculated by this week. Houston Methodist hospital, which oversees eight hospitals and has more than 26,000 employees, set a Monday deadline for staffers to get the vaccine or risk suspension and termination.

The hospital said Tuesday that 178 full-time or part-time employees, who did not get fully vaccinated and were not granted an exemption or deferral, were suspended for 14 days without pay for not complying with the requirement.

If those suspended do not get vaccinated within the two-week period, they will be terminated, a spokesperson for the hospital told ABC News. Dr. Marc Boom, the president and CEO of Houston Methodist said in a statement nearly 100% of the hospitals staff was compliant with the mandate and 24,947 were fully vaccinated.

He said of suspended employees, 27 had received one dose of the vaccine, “so I am hopeful they will get their second doses soon.”“We won’t have the final numbers for two weeks as employees can still get vaccinated with their second dose or with the one-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine,” Boom said.

“I wish the number could be zero, but unfortunately, a small number of individuals have decided not to put their patients first.”

Of all employees, 285 received a medical or religious exemption, and 332 were granted deferrals for pregnancy and other reasons, he said.“This decision was ultimately made for our patients, as they are at the center of everything we do at Houston Methodist,” he said in the statement.

Last month, 117 Houston Methodist employees sued the hospital for mandating the vaccine. The lawsuit, filed in Montgomery County, alleged the hospital was “illegally requiring its employees to be injected with an experimental vaccine as a condition of employment.”

The lawsuit cited that the U. S. Food and Drug Administration issued its first emergency use authorization for COVID-19 in December 2020, but the vaccines are awaiting full FDA approval and licensing, which will likely take months for the agency to review additional data.

The lawsuit said forcing the plaintiffs to take the vaccine violates public policy in Texas and requested a temporary injunction to prevent the hospital from terminating employees.

Attorney Jared Woodfill, who filed the lawsuit, told ABC News last month that Houston Methodist is forcing employees to get the shot to boost the hospital’s profits.”

To promote its business and increase profits at the expense of other health care providers and their employees’ health, Defendants advertise to the public that they ‘require all employees and employed physicians to get a COVID-19 vaccine.’

More clearly, Defendants’ employees are being forced to serve as human ‘guinea pigs’ to increase Defendants’ profits,” Woodfill said. “It is a severe and blatant violation of the Nuremberg Code and the public policy of the state of Texas.

      • Evolution of enhanced innate immune evasion by the SARS-CoV-2 B.1.1.7 UK variant

Emergence of SARS-CoV-2 variants, including the globally successful B.1.1.7 lineage, suggests viral adaptations to host selective pressures resulting in more efficient transmission.

Although much effort has focused on Spike adaptation for viral entry and adaptive immune escape, B.1.1.7 mutations outside Spike likely contribute to enhance transmission….

We conclude that B.1.1.7 has evolved beyond the Spike coding region to more effectively antagonise host innate immune responses through upregulation of specific subgenomic RNA synthesis and increased protein expression of key innate immune antagonists.

We propose that more effective innate immune antagonism increases the likelihood of successful B.1.1.7 transmission, and may increase in vivo replication and duration of infection.

    • zero hedge – CDC To Hold “Emergency Meeting” After 100s Suffer Heart Inflammation Following COVID Vaccines

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced Thursday that it will convene an “emergency meeting” of its advisers on June 18th to discuss rare but higher-than-expected reports of heart inflammation following doses of the mRNA-based Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines.

The new details about myocarditis and pericarditis emerged first in presentations to a panel of independent advisers for the Food and Drug Administration, who are meeting Thursday to discuss how the regulator should approach emergency use authorization for using COVID-19 vaccines in younger children.

Does anyone else not find it odd that after discovering 800 cases in the VAERS database the “emergency” meeting is in 7 days?

… and in the meantime, every public health authority figure is encouraging parents to get their young children vaccinated?

    • zero hedge – Goldman Requires Workers To Report If They Are Vaccinated

Goldman Sachs’ bankers dragged themselves back to the office last month, shortly before American workplace safety regulators weighed in on what employers are legally allowed to ask (and not ask) about their vaccination status.

As it turns out, vague federal standards will allow Goldman to allow workers to go bare-faced in the office so long as they provided their managers with information confirming they had been vaccinated.

Previously, disclosing vaccination status had been “optional” for employees. That has apparently changed, as Andrew Ross Sorkin’s “DealBook” reported Thursday that the bank had sent a memo this week informing employees in the US that they had until noon on Thursday to report their vaccination status.

Bankers can log their vaccination status with the bank’s internal app for employees. Since employers can’t directly ask for this information, the bank will instead ask workers to fill in the date where they received their shots, along with the maker of their vaccine.

Goldman has also informed employees through the app that their vaccination status may be shared with managers and used for planning purposes.

“Registering your vaccination status allows us to plan for a safer return to the office for all of our people as we continue to abide by local public health measures,” said a section of the memo, which was sent to employees who hadn’t already reported their vaccination status. A copy of the letter was obtained by the YT.

One of the NYT’s “expert” sources explained that Goldman can share vaccination status “with certain individuals if it’s relevant to the individual’s responsibilities, but they can’t share for no reason,,” according to Jessica Kuester, who specializes in benefits at the law firm Ogletree Deakins.

Another source who identified himself as the CEO of the “Society for Human Resource Management” said that “it’s important to have data to make data-informed decisions…” He acknowledged that some may “grimace” at the idea of employers pushing for information like vaccine status.

Goldman has roughly 20K employees based in the US at its New York headquarters and in other cities such as San Francisco and Dallas.

Companies across the US are trying to find out how many workers are vaccinated ahead of full office reopenings. They have conducted surveys and given out cash rewards, mimicking strategies embraced by state governments, as the Biden Administration scrambles to meet its goal of having 70% of American adults at least partially vaccinated by July 4. Though as things stand, it looks like the US is going to miss that target.

No word yet on whether Goldman workers will receive any kind of compensation for getting vaccinated. But seeing as the bank largely skipped bonus compensation offered to junior employees by other banks, we suspect junior bankers who comply will be doing so mostly out of the goodness of their hearts – and their unwillingness to lose their jobs.

  5. Hezbollah’s German Presence Grows Despite Terrorist Designation

Despite Germany’s efforts to curtail Hezbollah-related activities, the terrorist organization’s presence continues to rise across the country. German intelligence estimates that the number of Hezbollah operatives increased 20 percent last year, from 1,050 members and supporters to 1,250. There are roughly 180 Hezbollah-affiliated individuals in the German state of Lower Saxony alone.

The intelligence report, reviewed by The Jerusalem Post, warns that Hezbollah’s mobilization “should not be underestimated in Germany” and that Hezbollah’s followers “maintain organizations and ideological cohesion, among other things, in local mosque associations, which are primarily financed by donations….”

The latest report asserts that Hezbollah “demands the application of the Islamic legal system of Shari’a” and directs its “propaganda against Western institutions” to advance its goals…

The report’s findings follow Germany’s ban of three Hezbollah-affiliated organizations last month. Under the guise of pursuing religious and humanitarian aims, these groups allegedly collect donations for the families of fallen Hezbollah fighters. Knowing that their families will receive such “martyrs” aid can encourage future generations to join the organization and fight on its behalf.

  6. Is Egypt planning to retake control of the Gaza Strip?

Scenes of dozens of Egyptian bulldozers, cranes and trucks entering the Gaza Strip last Friday have left some Palestinians wondering whether Egypt is planning to return to the coastal enclave it ruled between 1948 and 1967.

The Egyptian decision to send building equipment and engineers to the Gaza Strip came within the context of Cairo’s pledge to contribute to reconstruction efforts there after the recent fighting between Israel and Hamas….

The presence of the Egyptian construction teams in the Gaza Strip means that Hamas and other Palestinian factions will not be able to resume the rocket attacks on Israel, Palestinian sources told The Jerusalem Post….

After the dissolution of the All-Palestine Government in 1959, Egypt continued to control the Gaza Strip until 1967.

The Egyptians, however, never annexed the Gaza Strip and chose to administer it through a military governor….

Relations between Egypt and Hamas were strained when Sisi came to power in 2013 after deposing president Mohamed Morsi and outlawing the Muslim Brotherhood. In 2015, an Egyptian court listed Hamas, an offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood, as a terrorist organization.

Morsi and other members of the Muslim Brotherhood were later charged with spying for Hamas and Iran.

Until a few years ago, Egypt’s state-controlled media had accused Hamas of helping Muslim terrorists who attacked Egyptian security forces in the Sinai. Hamas has strongly denied the charges, saying it does not meddle in the internal affairs of any Arab country….

    2-3 minutes

An elderly homeowner who uses a wheelchair told Houston police that a former tenant he’d booted from his residence for failure to pay rent returned Tuesday night, kicked down his front door, and attacked him, KPRC-TV reported.

But the 72-year-old homeowner also has a gun — and fatally shot his former tenant during the attack, the station said.
    What are the details?

Investigators told KPRC the homeowner had been renting out one of his rooms to the man in question, who allegedly stopped paying rent for quite some time.

With that, the homeowner told the man leave and not come back, the station reported.

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) upset a lot of people this week when she equated the U.S. and Israel to Hamas and the Taliban. It turns out it wasn’t just Republicans who are calling her out for her remarks.

    Fearless with Jason Whitlock

A dozen of her fellow U.S. House Democrats issued a statement Wednesday night criticizing her statements. And now a report has surfaced that the split between Omar and Democratic caucus is more significant than previously reported, with some Democratic lawmakers reportedly calling her an “anti-Semite” privately.
    What did Omar say?

In a Monday tweet, Omar claimed the U.S., Israel, Hamas, and the Taliban have all committed “unthinkable atrocities” and human rights abuses.

  10. Iowa Bans Critical Race Theory: Schools Should ‘Promote Learning, Not Discriminatory Indoctrination’
    Tim Pearce
    3-4 minutes

Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds signed legislation Tuesday banning critical race theory from being taught and promoted in government agencies, schools, or state-funded universities.

“Critical Race Theory is about labels and stereotypes, not education. It teaches kids that we should judge others based on race, gender or sexual identity, rather than the content of someone’s character,” Reynolds said in a statement, according to the Des Moines Register. “I am proud to have worked with the legislature to promote learning, not discriminatory indoctrination.”

The new law will go into effect across the state on June 1. The legislation does not specifically name critical race theory, but outlaws more specific concepts often associated with the study. Critical race theory analyzes how race and racism shaped the United States and continue to influence the U.S. today in the form of alleged inequalities among races.

  11. WATCH: Survivor Of Mao’s China Stuns School Board With Chilling Warning About Critical Race Theory
    Hank Berrien
    4-5 minutes

A Chinese woman who suffered under the brutal Communist Chinese regime of Mao Tse-Tung vehemently denounced Loudoun County’s School board in Virginia for its championing of Critical Race Theory, charging, “All of this seems very familiar … the only difference is they used class instead of race. … This is, indeed, the American version of the Chinese Cultural Revolution.”

Given one minute to speak, the Chinese woman wasted no time getting to the point, asserting, “I’ve been very alarmed by what’s going on in our schools. You are now training our children to be social justice warriors and to loathe our country and our history. Growing up in Mao’s China, all of this seems very familiar. The Communist regime used the same critical theory to divide people; the only difference is they used class instead of race.”

“During the Cultural Revolution, I witnessed students and teachers turn against each other,” she recalled. “We changed school names to be politically correct. We were taught to denounce our heritage. The Red Guards destroyed anything that is not Communist: old statues, books, and anything else.”

She pointed out that in China during the Cultural Revolution, students were also encouraged to report on each other: “We were also encouraged to report on each other, just like the Student Equity Ambassador program and the Bias Reporting System.”

  12. “On Hating in the First Person Plural: Thinking Psychoanalytically About Racism, Homophobia, and Misogyny”

Donald Moss First Published August 1, 2001

On the basis of personal, cultural, and clinical references,

[This Collective-Identity, “we”: such as LGBTQ, muslim, Communist etc. Their removal of individual voices for their Submissions to Narratives].

  13. Exclusive: Iran Steps up Efforts to Sow Discord Inside the U.S.

Troll farms run by the Iranian government are intensifying their disinformation campaign on social media to spread discord and anti-Semitic tropes inside the U.S., two U.S. intelligence officials say. Within days of the start of the 2021 Gaza War, Twitter accounts linked to Iran were amplifying anti-Semitic messages in English, including the phrases “hitler was right” and “kill all jews” at a rate of 175 times per minute, according to the Network Contagion Research Institute, affiliated with Rutgers University and the Anti-Defamation League (ADL).

  14. Amir Taheri:
    The Ayatollah’s Game Plan

Those who seek to revive the “nuclear deal” with Iran described it as an attempt at preventing another Middle Eastern war, but in dealing with the mullahs it is appeasement that encourages war.

Believing that the new U.S. administration may help him solve his cash flow problem, Ayatollah Khamenei re-wrote the official national budget to dramatically increase his military’s share. It includes a 62% raise for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. The Quds (Jerusalem) Force, in charge of exporting revolution, sees its budget increased by almost 40%. The message to Iran’s surrogates is that Tehran expects to be able to end the budget cuts it had been forced to introduce.

Using the “nuclear deal” as a diversion, the ayatollah hopes to get the sanctions lifted so that he can pursue his kind of war with greater vigor. His kind of war is proxy, asymmetric, low-intensity, low-cost. He pursues it through surrogates and mercenaries, since few Iranians are prepared to fight his kind of war.’s-game-plan

  15. It’s Time to Free the Palestinians from Hamas – and Iran

The signing of the Abraham Accords between the United Arab Emirates and Israel that I helped broker last August exchanged a 70-year stalemate for an era of coexistence, with a promise to finally make progress where everything else had failed. The Abraham Accords are about the whole region’s future.

The truth is, the Middle East conflict isn’t between the Israelis and Palestinians but between Israel and Iran. The Palestinian people’s rights and hopes have been hijacked by Hamas to serve an Iranian agenda. One of the biggest errors in the media narrative, which I saw repeated over and over, was the way they speak about Gaza as if it’s occupied by the Israelis. It’s not: It’s occupied by Hamas. And the Palestinian people in Gaza are suffering because of Hamas, not the Israelis.

Twenty years ago, the Palestinian cause was priority number one in the region. Now, people in the Gulf see things differently. We no longer believe that this should come at the expense of our national interest. We do care about the Palestinians, but we don’t care about the Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorist organizations.

    • Stop Comparing the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict to the Black Lives Matter Movement

Assuming that global conflicts can be navigated and understood via American history and the present tensions in American society concerning race is total nonsense. The Jewish people have been victims of thousands of years of displacement, expulsion and discrimination, and in the last century, we have faced war and terrorism in backlash to our indigenous right to self-determination in our ancestral homeland.

As someone who grew up in South Africa, I can proudly report that Israel is definitely not an apartheid society. Israeli Arabs are an enmeshed part of Israeli society, including the myriad who serve in the Israel Defense Forces and work as doctors, lawyers, scholars, ambassadors, and politicians.

In the Palestinian Authority and Gaza, gender-based violence and discrimination against the LGBTQ community and minorities are prevalent. There is widespread detention without charge or trial by the Palestinian Authority, while in Gaza, military courts rule the day and capital punishment is prevalent. Hamas violently took over Gaza from the Palestinian Authority in 2007, murdering hundreds of Palestinians in their quest for power.

U.S. tax dollars given to Israel must be used to purchase goods from the U.S., keeping many Americans employed. The Palestinian Authority used U.S. tax dollars to make payments to the families of persons imprisoned for acts of terrorism against U.S. citizens, including to the families of suicide bombers.

The Palestinian people are not the enemy of Israel; Hamas is. Israel is not the barrier to peace; Hamas extremism and terrorism are.

It is inappropriate and tone-deaf to use the Black Lives Matter movement to give credence to anti-Israel rhetoric. Israel is a democratic, multi-ethnic, multi-racial and multi-cultural society with every right to defend its sovereignty and civilians against Jihadi terrorists.

      • ‘Stop Comparing the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict to the Black Loathsomeness Matter Movement’

Self-loathing is a disease that seeks virtue, to fill an empty underachieving life. It works by believing positive discrimination is good for you. To steal your identity, and give you a new one, like stealing honey and reolacing it sugar. Holding back talent with bland handouts to prevent discovering how successful you could be.

Jews have not faced this Critical Race Theory temptation yet. To kneel down and worship the Poor-Giver.

        • If you’re careless enough to import congenital jew-haters, then at least USE them as an early warning system. Let this be your gut response, beware of “reasoned” coping mechanisms.

No matter what, in times of trouble Jews are ALWAYS the first scapegoats. The ostensible “reason” for their persecution doesn’t matter, as that’s just a “Rorschach test for contemporary anathemas”.

Don’t pay attention to collaborators, the as-a-jews, Jew-ish voices inciting the enemies of their own kith and kin. They’re ALWAYS part of the package.

Know this: While Jews are ALWAYS the first targets of mindless hatred, they’re NEVER the last.

Media cover-up, media spin – that doesn’t matter. This phenomenon transcends time and space. As old as Scripture, as universal as the Mark of the Beast.

Regard overt jew-hate as a fever spike of a sick society. Go to Richard’s to do list:

  16. Research Study, Kept from Public, Finds EU Is Financing Incitement in Palestinian Schools

The 200-page report from the Georg Eckert Institute for International Textbook Research, commissioned by then-EU foreign affairs representative Federica Mogherini {spit}, examined 156 textbooks and 16 teaching curriculums issued by the Palestinian Authority between 2017-2020. The unpublished report, obtained by the Jerusalem Post, found that Brussels directly funds the salaries of teachers and the publication of textbooks which encourage and glorify violence against Israelis and Jews.

The report says that in the textbooks, “Frequent use of negative attributions in relation to the Jewish people…suggests a conscious perpetuation of anti-Jewish prejudice.” Most maps erase Israel, portraying the land between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea as Palestine.

The Israel Foreign Ministry said the research findings “prove that the EU, even at this very moment, is continuing to invest millions in the funding of the Palestinian Authority’s educational system…with no monitoring of the content that appears in the textbooks, and without demanding that the Palestinian Authority immediately stop indoctrinating its children to hate and kill.”

As such, “the EU’s policy harms the chances of promoting coexistence and contradicts the EU’s stated commitment to combating anti-Semitism.”

  17. Operation Guardian of the Walls: Targeting Hamas terror, behind the scenes

Lt.-Col. (res.) T. commanded the team behind the strike during the recent fighting on the 14-story Shorouq tower in the center of Gaza City, which housed Hamas military intelligence offices. The offices were situated on two floors and were “more interior, which made it almost impossible to hit” without destroying the entire building, he said.

    T. said his role was to use all the intelligence available to make sure that there were no civilian casualties in the strikes targeting Hamas infrastructure. “We use our intelligence assets to reach those who live in the buildings and those surrounding it to make sure that they leave,” the officer said.

Lt. (res.) E. was a firepower officer responsible for hitting terror targets without killing anyone. “We did everything we could to make sure there was nobody in the area,” she said, adding that there were several times that the IDF called off an airstrike “because civilians were in the area.”

The decision to place military infrastructure in civilian areas contravenes the laws of armed conflict, but according to E., “They take advantage. Hamas places their military infrastructure within civilian infrastructure, and if we hit a building that has munitions inside, the IDF can’t control the explosion.”

  18. the gateway pundit – NEW: Passengers on First Fully Vaccinated North American Cruise Test Positive For Covid-19

Passengers aboard the first 100% vaccinated North American cruise tested positive for Covid-19.

Two passengers on the Celebrity Millennium, which is operated by Royal Caribbean, tested positive for Covid-19 during end-of-cruise testing which is conducted 72 hours before returning to the US.

The passengers are asymptomatic and have been forced into isolation on the vessel.

[…]All passengers were required to show proof of vaccination in addition to a negative COVID-19 test within a 72-hour period before the ship departed from the Caribbean island of St. Maarten Saturday

[…]“Celebrity Millennium is sailing with fully vaccinated crew and guests and following comprehensive protocols that align with our destination partners and exceed CDC guidelines to protect the health and safety of our guests.

All guests on Celebrity Millennium were required to show proof of vaccination as well as a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours before sailing from St. Maarten this past Saturday. This situation demonstrates that our rigorous health and safety protocols work to protect our crew, guests and the communities we visit.”

[…]The vessel is currently docked in Curaço and the passengers who tested positive remain on board in isolation.

China Markets Sold Mink, Civets, Stoking Natural Origins Theory

Chinese markets linked to some of the earliest Covid-19 cases were illegally selling a range of wildlife from which the coronavirus may have spread, according to a study published less than two weeks after U.S. President Joe Biden ordered a deeper probe into the pandemic’s genesis.

Mink, masked palm civets, raccoon dogs, Siberian weasels, hog badgers and Chinese bamboo rats were among 38 animal species sold live at markets in Wuhan from May 2017 to November 2019, researchers said Monday in a paper in the journal Scientific Reports originally submitted last October.

The hunt for Covid’s origins has become increasingly political amid criticism that the Chinese government hasn’t been open and transparent with key information, including activities in a Wuhan lab studying coronaviruses. The new findings support the conclusions of a World Health Organization-led research mission in early 2021 that concluded SARS-CoV-2 most likely spilled over to humans from animals — either directly from a bat or via another mammal, possibly one sold at the Huanan seafood and fresh produce market in central Wuhan.

“This report clearly places SARS-CoV-2 susceptible animals smack in the middle of Wuhan,” said Robert Garry, a professor of microbiology and immunology at Tulane University in New Orleans, who wasn’t involved in the research. It’s “a major revelation,” [WoW] he said in an email.

Access to the detailed data in the study was serendipitous[Sure, it was.] The findings were based on routine monthly surveys of shops selling live wild animals as pets or for food across Wuhan in the years before Covid-19 emerged at the end of 2019, the authors said. That unrelated study was intended to identify the source of a tick-borne disease.

  20. Just say NO.
One Of The World’s Poorest Countries Has One Of The World’s Lowest COVID Death Rates

Haiti has one of the lowest death rates from COVID-19 in the world.

As of the end of April, only 254 deaths were attributed to COVID-19 in Haiti over the course of the entire pandemic. The Caribbean nation, which often struggles with infectious diseases, has a COVID-19 death rate of just 22 per million. In the U.S. the COVID-19 death rate is 1,800 per million, and in parts of Europe. the fatality rate is approaching 3,000 deaths per million.

Haiti’s success is not due to some innovative intervention against the virus. Most people have given up wearing masks in public. Buses and markets are crowded. And Haiti hasn’t yet administered a single COVID-19 vaccine.…

Concern about the pandemic is so minimal that this April, when the World Health Organization-led COVAX program offered Haiti a shipment of AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccines, the government rejected it….

[O]rdinary Haitians and people in the medical community have heard reports of rare but severe side effects from the AstraZeneca vaccine in Europe, and they’re in no rush to get that shot.

“Because COVID did not impact us as badly,” she says, “people don’t think it [the vaccine] is worth it actually.”
