Reader’s Links for June 1, 2021

This post is being created on May 27. Today is the day we predict, where the promised alien report for today gets kicked down the road a ways. Probably weeks, and then months. Just 2 weeks to pave the information highway. We shall know soon.

Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

  2. Exiled Turkey mob boss opens new Pandora’s box with Syria claims

JEDDAH: Turkey’s notorious mafia leader Sedat Peker has resurfaced this week in a new video accusing the country’s rulers of conspiring with a paramilitary force to send weapons to Al-Qaeda-linked terror groups in Syria.

In the eighth video of his series released on Sunday, he claimed that Turkey sent weapons to Al-Nusra jihadists in Syria through a paramilitary group and so-called “parallel army,” named SADAT, formed by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s adviser.

Peker, who enjoyed close connections with Turkish rulers in the past, also detailed alleged cooperation between Turkish officials and Al-Nusra.

The fugitive mafia boss allegedly decided to send military equipment to Syrian Turkmens and shared the plan with a deputy from the ruling government in order to receive permission to dispatch the trucks in 2015.

“They said ‘lets send additional trucks to Syria with your aid convoy.’ We sent our trucks to Syria as aid trucks, then we posed for photos with them. However, I thought they sent other trucks to the Syrian Turkmen rebels,” he said.

The allegations were previously brought to the Turkish parliament by the opposition, but no further details were uncovered following government objections.

Ahmet Davutoglu, who was prime minister between 2014 and 2016 and now leads the breakaway Future Party, has been urged to provide accounts of the “corrupt irregularities” in Syria.

Peker alleged that the trucks sent to jihadists were orchestrated by a group within SADAT.

The consultancy group claims it is “the first and the only company in Turkey that internationally provides consultancy and military training services at the international defense and interior security sector,” according to its website.

SADAT was founded in 2012 by a retired general and 23 officers who were expelled from the Turkish Armed Forces due to hard-line Islamic allegiances.

The paramilitary company is closely linked to the Turkish government and allegedly played a role in recruiting and providing training to jihadists during the Syrian and Libyan civil wars.

“They diverted aid trucks for Turkmen to Al-Nusra under my name, but I didn’t send them — SADAT did. I was informed about it from one of our Turkmen friends,” Peker said.

Peker, whose videos have reached millions of users on YouTube, said his videos are designed to “take revenge” against the Turkish government and especially Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu, who allowed police officers to raid his home after he fell out with the regime.

In a previous video, the mafia boss accused Erkan Yildirim, son of Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim, and former police chief Mehmet Agar, of orchestrating an international drug trafficking scheme involving Turkey, Colombia and Venezuela.

The latest video is titled “Young trees which are grown by storms cannot be destroyed by wind.”
Peker asks a question in the clip: “Now do you know what you need to do business in Syria?”

He alleged that doing “big business” in Syria — worth billions of dollars — requires the permission of not only the presidential head of administrative affairs, Metin Kiratli, but also of pro-government businesspeople Ramazan Ozturk and Murat Sancak, as well as a senior Al-Nusra militant, Abu Abdurrahman, who is responsible for financing jihadis.

Peker also implied that the money trail could never be tracked back to the Turkish state after it was hidden by a “corrupt network” with the help of the interior minister.

The mafia boss claimed to have opposed the aid to Al-Nusra because they were fighting Turkmen minorities in Syria.

Al-Nusra is now called Hayat Tahrir Al-Sham and retains control in Syria’s rebel-held region.
Turkey’s alleged links with jihadists in Syria made headlines back in 2015 following Russian claims.

In December 2015, Russian President Vladimir Putin accused Ankara of shooting down a Russian jet near the Turkish border with Syria in order to protect its oil supply lines with Daesh, although Turkey denied any involvement in the incident.

Russia’s defense minister also accused Erdogan and his family of taking part in the illegal oil trade.

“If you allege something, you should prove it,” Erdogan said in response.

Peker, a high-profile mafia figure since the 1990s, says he now resides in Dubai, but regularly moves to avoid being captured by Turkish authorities. He fled Turkey last year to avoid a criminal investigation.

‘Open Pandora’s box’ on Turkish weapons transfers to Syrian jihadists, says mobster Sedat Peker

Releasing his eighth video on another Sunday morning, Turkish mafia boss Sedat Peker has turned the nation’s attention towards the illicit transfer of weapons to jihadist groups in Syria, and illegal commerce systems controlled by Turkish intelligence.

“Let’s open the first Pandora’s box,” Peker said. “What do you need in order to carry on commerce in Syria? You go to Mr Metin Kiratli, the Presidential Director of Administrative Affairs in the Külliye.”

Külliye, or ‘campus’, is the name Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan uses for his presidential complex.

“Smuggled crude oil, tea, sugar, aluminium, copper, used cars… These add up to billions of dollars, huge sums of money,” Peker said.

Kiratli’s approval would get potential smugglers an audience with MT Group, Peker said, where they would appeal to Murat Sancak, a close ally of Erdogan and the heir to Turkey’s leading military vehicle manufacturer BMC, and Ramazan Öztürk, the son of BMC Board Member Talip Öztürk.

“After you pass them, you can go to the finances guy of al Nusra, Abu Abdurrahman. He sometimes goes by Abu Sheima. That is how trade works now,” Peker said.

The mobster said Berat Albayrak, Erdogan’s son-in-law and former finance minister who hasn’t been seen in public since his contentious resignation in November last year, was hiding out in a house Murat Sancak owns in Istanbul’s western Beylikdüzü district.

Responding to Erdogan’s Wednesday comments that criminals would be brought to the country and handed over to the courts, Peker said, “Would bringing me in change the truth, Brother Tayyip? If I am part of an international conspiracy, then in the next video I will sit with Brother Tayyip and as a brother I will speak.”

“I was there when you had no power. None of them were around,” the mobster said, addressing Erdogan.

Peker gave details on the MIT trucks incident, where Turkey’s intelligence service was caught allegedly transporting weapons to Syrian jihadists under the guise of humanitarian aid for the Turkmen population in northwest Syria.

“UAVs, radios enough for all fighters there, bulletproof vests, this, that, trucks’ full…” Peker said. “We thought up this project, and spoke with a lawmaker friend of ours. He took the idea and passed it along to the necessary places. Then they said they would give us extra trucks, to travel alongside ours.”

Peker said there had been a shipment of humanitarian aid, promoted as so under the name of the mobster himself, and then other trucks were added to his convoy.

“We didn’t know what was in the vehicles,” Peker said, before immediately correcting himself. “When I say we didn’t know, I mean there were weapons, I am not a naïve child.”

The organisation wasn’t handled by the national intelligence service MIT, as reported in opposition media, Peker said.

According to the Mafia boss, the weapons transfers were organised by SADAT, a defence consultancy company owned by a former security adviser to Erdogan.

“There was no processing, no records,” Peker said. “I bought everything with my own money, except those, but it all goes under my name.”

Peker said his men delivered aid to Turkmens in Syria, who sent back videos thanking him. In one of the videos, one man spoke Arabic, he said. “Then our Turkmen friends said the men were with al Nusra. Others confirmed that the shipment was going to al Nusra. Yes, through me. I am being sincere. But I didn’t send them, SADAT did.”

The day before Peker’s eighth release was the sixth anniversary of secular-left wing newspaper Cumhuriyet releasing footage from searches conducted on trucks that allegedly belonged to the MIT, confirming the transport of at least 1,000 mortar shells, 1,000 artillery shells and more than 80,000 rounds of ammunition of various calibres.

The searches themselves were conducted in November 2013 and January 2014 by gendarmerie forces near the Syrian border, in the Adana province.

Following Cumhuriyet’s leaks, the paper’s editor-in-chief at the time, veteran journalist Can Dündar, was charged with espionage and arrested for several months. In October last year, a court seized all assets of Dündar, who has lived in exile in Germany since his release from prison. In December, the journalist was sentenced to 27 years in prison.

In Syria, Turkey continues to support al Nusra, since renamed as Hayat Tahrir al Sham (HTS). The group launched a military campaign last year against its Islamist rivals in the rebel-held
Idlib province, Voice of America reported at the time.

“Take care of yourselves, and keep me in your prayers, my brothers,” Peker said at the end of his video. “Even if you are provoked, for Allah’s sake, never take to the streets. Don’t let anybody use you.”

Peker has spoken about provocations before, warning against nationalist-minded people participating in social unrest.

“They will intimidate people, saying the country is about to go into chaos,” Peker continued his warnings with. “Then the deep state guys have their men among terrorist organisations, those will come into play. They will spoil even the good things. Don’t do it!”

SADAT issued a statement in response to Peker’s allegations, saying the mobster was “slinging mud” to divert attention away from his admissions of guilt.

“We are calling on the slanderers to prove their false claims, and to turn over what documents they have to the prosecutors,” SADAT said. “Peker admits to selling weapons to terrorist groups; however, our company has no relation to weapons Peker delivered to terrorist groups.”

SADAT has “never worked in any capacity with any groups in Syria”, the company said.

SADAT: the horsemen of the apocalypse?

A number of allegations have recently surfaced over Adnan Tanriverdi, a former security aide to President Erdogan. Tanriverdi is said to oversee SADAT, a shadowy paramilitary group close to the President. Allegations of the company’s involvement in the combat training of the jihadist paramilitary groups loyal to Turkey go further to suggest that SADAT pushed for the current escalation in Idlib. Can it be compared to Iran’s Revolutionary Guards?
SADAT allegedly recruits from among the pro-AKP youth organizations to train cadres as Erdo?an’s stormtroopers.

Others read the company’s surge in parallel with the recently founded watchmen organization (Bekci), a 30,000 strong paramilitary group, who are supposed to assist the police in the maintenance of order in the cities. Erdogan made the following statement on Jan. 2 in support of the watchmen organization: “We are in a situation where we can no longer rely solely on the official security forces for the order of our cities”.

Many criticize this new institution as a way of establishing an armed pro-Erdogan youth organization similar to the Basij group in Iran. The Basij – a paramilitary group connected to the Iranian Revolutionary Guards – are known for their mission to prevent “immoral” behavior in the cities such as drinking alcohol or flirting. They were also used by former President Ahmedinejad in the suppression of protest demonstrations back in 2009.

If the watchmen organization is the Turkish version of the Basij, then some parallels between the structures and aims of the SADAT organization and the Islamic Revolutionary Guards of Iran can be drawn. The Revolutionary Guards, who played a crucial role in the consolidation of the Islamic regime in post-revolutionary Iran, are still the primary force that maintains the Islamic order.

In addition to domestic security, the Revolutionary Guards are also involved in national defense. They operate as a parallel force accompanying to both the police and the military. While SADAT allegedly resembles to the Revolutionary Guards, its operations abroad could be found to be similar to the engagements of the Iranian regime’s Quds Army.…

Has SADAT become Erdogan’s Revolutionary Guards?

…That I have written about Tanriverdi and SADAT sporadically over the past year is a reflection of the degree to which they are a conversation among current, retired, and purged Turkish military officers; eyewitnesses who say SADAT was firing indiscriminately at civilians during the coup; NATO defense attaches stationed in Turkey; as well as officials stationed at the NATO headquarters in Brussels.

The conclusion is the same: SADAT appears increasingly to act as Erdogan’s personal militia or a Turkish equivalent of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

SADAT should raise eyebrows. Its website says it both provides conventional and unconventional military training and can supply weapons, explosives, and other equipment to its clients, but it appears to do much more than that. Even inside Turkey, suspicions about the group run deep….

Reportedly utilizing the assistance of the Union of European Turkish Democrats (UETD), a pro-Erdogan lobby group, SADAT has identified and recruited a number of European national foreign fighters for terror groups like the Islamic State and Nusra Front. Again, the Turkish government appears more deeply involved as SADAT apparently enabled nationals from Germany, Austria, Belgium, France, and Sweden to acquire current Turkish passports.

On March 22, 2017, Erdogan declared, “Europeans across the world will not be able to walk the streets safely if they keep up their current attitude towards Turkey.” Later that day, a terrorist mowed down several tourists in front of the British parliament.

That was likely coincidence, but recent kidnappings of Turkish dissidents in Malaysia, Turkish spy rings in Europe, self-described Turkish civil society organizations in the United States reporting on dissidents and opponents, and the recent assault on protesters in Washington, DC, should all raise concerns about what Erdogan and his proxy organizations and militias are up to, for they are certainly escalating….

…Tanriverdi made headlines last week during an Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) summit when he said his company was paving the way for the arrival of the Mahdi, the prophesied redeemer of Islam, according to Islamic teachings.

Erdogan’s chief military advisor also said the Islamic world would become united under the leadership of Mahdi.

“It is clear that SADAT follows and enforces Erdogan’s agenda without the constraints of being a government entity,” former Pentagon official Michael Rubin wrote in 2017….

SADAT responded to allegations by accusing Rubin of ties to the Gulen movement, which Turkey maintains orchestrated the 2016 coup attempt, citing an Ankara court’s dismissal of an inquiry into the camps…

Another major point of contention was SADAT’s involvement with the Esedullah Teams, a special operations force that was active during the urban conflict in Turkey’s Kurdish-majority southeast in 2015 and was cited in a EU report on Turkey as being responsible for “grave human rights violations, including the deliberate killing of civilians”.

SADAT established a series of bases in Turkey’s north-western Marmara region to train Syrian anti-Assad opposition forces, and at least one of these bases in the Kocaeli province formerly belonged to the Turkish Navy…

    • Turkey hints at imminent Afrin operation

ANKARA: Turkey’s top security body, the National Security Council (MGK), on Tuesday recommended that the government deploy forces around Syria’s Kurdish-held Afrin canton and in western Aleppo.

The MGK emphasized Turkey’s determination to secure its borders against terrorist groups. Afrin is controlled by the US-backed Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG), which Ankara views as the Syrian affiliate of the outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK).

On Monday, Turkish Defense Minister Nurettin Canikli hinted at a possible operation in Afrin, saying such an operation “may be tomorrow or… sooner than tomorrow.”

Last week, he said the PKK/YPG presence in Afrin poses a “serious danger and threat that should be removed in line with Turkey’s rights arising from international law.”

The Turkish military recently completed the formation of its third observation post in Syria’s northwest Idlib province, as part of a cease-fire co-guaranteed with Russia and Iran.

Earlier this month, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said his country needed to clear Afrin of the YPG after accomplishing its military operation in Idlib.

But Serhat Erkmen, a Middle East expert at the Ankara-based 21st Century Turkey Institute, told Arab News: “Following the agreement reached in Sochi last week between Moscow, Tehran and Ankara, a comprehensive military operation that would escalate regional tension is unlikely.”

He added: “Even if it took place, it wouldn’t be a military operation that changes the balance power fundamentally, at a time when the Syrian conflict is evolving toward a political settlement.”

Turkey’s Operation Euphrates Shield in northern Syria last year was conducted after getting the green light from Moscow.

Any move on Afrin, where Russian military observers were deployed this summer, would also need its approval.

“Ankara should reach an agreement with Moscow over who will control Afrin if the PKK/YPG are removed from the region: The Syrian regime or the Free Syrian Army (FSA), which is backed by Turkey? It’s the key question,” Erkmen said. “Turkey won’t feel secure so long as the PKK is in Afrin.”

But the risks of such an operation may be prohibitively high, he added. “First of all, there’s a military risk. The PKK has been preparing for a possible Turkish operation for a while.”
Erkmen said: “One shouldn’t forget the political risks as well. We don’t know how the Syrian government will react.”

He added: “If the perceived security threat is bigger than the current risk, decision-makers will take into consideration the dynamics not only of Syria but the whole region.”

Bora Bayraktar, a Middle East expert from Istanbul Kultur University, told Arab News: “The operation will be mostly a continuation of Turkey’s military engagement in the Idlib de-escalation zone.”

“The region will be contained by moving as close as possible to Aleppo and the town of Tal Rifat,” he said.

“Fifty-five percent of Afrin’s population are Arabs, Kurds make up 30-35 percent, and the rest are Turkmen. With the stability that would be brought by a possible Turkish operation, the return of displaced populations may restore the original demography and neutralize the PKK/YPG presence.”

If Syrian-Kurdish forces resist the Turkish operation, Ankara may use aerial attacks and shelling without launching a ground operation with its troops, Bayraktar said.

    • US reveals key Daesh money provider based in Turkey

ANKARA: Washington has identified a critical financial facilitator for Daesh based in Turkey in a move to unsettle the remaining global financial networks of the terrorist group.

In a statement on Tuesday, the US Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) said that the Daesh facilitator, Adnan Muhammad Amin Al-Rawi, had materially assisted, sponsored or provided financial, material or technological support for — or goods or services to or in support of — Daesh.

“This action coincides with the 13th meeting of the Counter Daesh Finance Group (CIFG), which includes over 60 countries and international organizations, and plays a fundamental role in coordinating efforts to deny Daesh access to the international financial system and eliminate its sources of revenue,” the statement read.

The Treasury requires that all property and interests in property of relevant individuals that are in the US or in the possession or control of US persons must be blocked and reported to the OFAC.

In the meantime, any foreign financial institution that deliberately conducts or facilitates any substantial transaction on behalf of individuals and entities designated by OFAC is likely to be subject to US sanctions.

Hidden Daesh cells are known to be active in Turkey. On July 19, Turkish police detained 27 people in 15 districts of Istanbul with links to Daesh whom they suspect were preparing to carry out a terror attack.

According to Colin Clarke, senior research fellow on terror financing networks with the Soufan Group, financial networks of Daesh unsurprisingly remain active in Turkey, given the way that Daesh prepared for the collapse of the caliphate.

“Daesh has laundered its illicit proceeds in Turkey through money-service businesses and middlemen looking to profit from ill-gotten gains. I think Daesh financial networks could potentially help sustain the group for the next decade,”he told Arab News.

Since last year, Turkey’s financial crimes watchdog MASAK has been going after the terror group’s illegal money transfer system, targeting suspects who they accuse of directing to Daesh
international money transfers using the “Hawala” chain system. Turkish- and Syrian-based jewelry firms or exchange offices are believed to act as front companies for such illegal money transfers.

Last November, Washington blacklisted three Turkey-based companies and two Turkish individuals based in Turkey over charges of providing financial and logistical support for Daesh in Syria and Iraq through currency exchange offices and import-export operations. The sanctions are meant to freeze any US assets held by targeted individuals and companies and to forbid Americans from doing business with them.

“The geographical defeat of Daesh in March 2019 did not mean putting an end to the reasons behind its emergence and the conditions in which it flourished. These include political, social and religious grievances; repressive governance; as well as the security vacuum,” Orwa Ajjoub, affiliated researcher at the Center for Middle Easter Studies at Lund University, told Arab News.

According to Ajjoub, the loss of its territory has disrupted the group’s main sources of income such as oil revenues and tax collection. However, Daesh has found new ways to support itself such as limited legitimate businesses, smuggling, donations, kidnapping for ransom and extortion of
wealthy individuals in the areas in which it operates in the Eastern desert of Syria and the border region between Syria and Iraq.

“The international community realizes that drying up (Daesh’s) financial resources is a major factor in neutralizing the group’s military operations. Therefore, CIFG has been monitoring and sanctioning some money transfer offices that are involved in illegitimate activities and operate in both Syria and Iraq,” he said.

Ajjoub thinks that the difficulty in achieving this lies in the ability to monitor the process of transferring remittances from the point of sending them to the moment they are received by beneficiaries.

“Other ways of channeling resources to Daesh fighters include social media campaigns and donations in cryptocurrency, which require rigorous cybersecurity measures to contain,” he said.

  3. German minister laments choice of Syria for WHO board seat

Germany’s health minister says he is “anything but happy” that Syria’s government has been selected for a seat on the World Health Organization’s executive board

BERLIN — Germany’s health minister says he is “anything but happy” that Syria’s government — which has waged a devastating, deadly decade-long war against dissenters — has been selected for a seat on the World Health Organization’s executive board.

Health Minister Jens Spahn said Tuesday that the choice of Syria, which was confirmed with no debate or dissent at a meeting of WHO member nations in Geneva over the weekend, reflected the need to work with some governments for the benefit of their people — especially on health matters.

“I’m anything but happy with this decision,” Spahn said when asked about the issue at a news conference in Berlin.

But he added that international cooperation among sovereign states was necessary to coordinate and set standards together and noted that a similar situation also arises in other international forums like the U.N. Human Rights Council.

“These are the shortcomings of realpolitik,” he said.

“Especially when it comes to health issues and the health care of the population, the question is always: Who are we actually punishing here if we don’t make cooperation possible?” Spahn said. “Are we punishing the regime or the population?”

Dozens of medical workers in rebel-held northwest Syria on Monday protested the decision to grant the seat to Syrian President Bashar Assad’s government, accusing it of responsibility for bombing hospitals and clinics across the war-ravaged country.

The war has left half a million people dead and driven millions out of the country since the conflict erupted in 2011.

Syria was among 12 WHO member nations chosen to put forward new members for the 34-strong executive board, which is largely a technical group whose role is to carry out the decisions of, and advise, the assembly.

Syria will take up the seat when the board holds its latest meeting, which starts Wednesday.

“The new digital ID will give all Europeans the keys to their digital twin,” says Thierry Breton, EU commissioner.

EU set to unveil digital wallet fit for post-Covid life

App will allow citizens to securely access private and public services with a single online ID

The EU is set to unveil detailed plans for a bloc-wide digital wallet on Wednesday following requests from member states to find a safe way for citizens to access public and private services online.

The digital wallet would securely store payment details and passwords and allow citizens from all 27 countries to log into local government websites or pay utility bills using a single recognised identity, said people with direct knowledge of the plans.

The EU-wide app, which can be accessed via fingerprint or retina scanning among other methods, will also serve as a vault where users can store official documents such as a driver’s licence. Using the wallet was not compulsory, those involved said, but citizens who chose to sign up would benefit from an extra-secure digital ecosystem and greater flexibility ideal for post-pandemic life.

“The new digital ID will give every European the keys to their digital twin,” Thierry Breton, and EU commissioner in charge of digital policy, said in a speech earlier this year.

In order to protect citizens, EU officials will force a structural separation preventing companies which access user data from using it for any other commercial activity, such as marketing new products.

Brussels is engaged in discussions with member states to provide guidelines on technical standards for the rollout of the digital wallet, which is expected to be fully operational in about a year.

The new proposals are part of a review of existing EU-wide electronic identification and follows a consultation on the “drivers and barriers” for the deployment of a digital wallet.

The existing system has experienced low take-up with only 19 countries introducing digital IDs and not all of them are compatible with one another. Ultimately, member states will decide how to implement the system.

EU officials hope increased digital literacy and an increased use of digital tools during the pandemic will help boost the new system. Regulators will also highlight the ease of accessing public and private services should people choose to sign up.

A person hiring a car, for example, could use their digital wallet to do so remotely through an application that will verify their identity and issue an electronic key so they can take the car immediately without the need to wait in line at the airport.

The digital wallet would be “simple, secure and it will protect people online”, said a person with direct knowledge of the plans. “People will also have the power to decide how much information they give out while Google and others don’t let you decide what you’re giving away.”

A man in eastern China has contracted what appears to be the first human case of H10N3, a type of avian influenza, according to Chinese regime officials.

The 41-year-old man, who wasn’t identified, was hospitalized in late April with H10N3 in Zhenjiang, Jiangsu Province, located near Shanghai, according to China’s National Health Commission in a statement on its website.

The commission stated that no other cases have been reported.

“This infection is an accidental cross-species transmission,” its statement said, while also claiming that “the risk of large-scale transmission is low,” according to a Chinese-to-English translation.

The agency stated that the man developed a fever and other symptoms; he was diagnosed with H10N3 about a month later, on May 28.

Editor’s note: This is the first in a series Frontpage is running on Racist Mayors. Stay tuned.

Shortly after 9 p.m. on the night of May 24, a 17-year-old black youth named Keyshawn Williams was standing on a sidewalk along Chicago’s South Oakley Boulevard when someone in a silver BMW opened fire and killed him in a drive-by shooting.

The night before that, a 25-year-old African American named Ladell Arnold was riding in a vehicle along West Flournoy Street in Chicago at 7:10 p.m. when he was shot and killed by a nearby gunman.

The night before that, a 46-year-old black man named Johnnie Williams was standing on a sidewalk along Chicago’s South Michigan Avenue at 7:30 p.m. when some people riding in two passing vehicles shot him dead while also wounding two others.

And at 11:50 p.m. the night before that, a 15-year-old black boy named Dajon Gater was on the front porch of a West Lexington Street house in Chicago, when two armed males approached and killed him with a gunshot to the head.

Like four tiny grains of sand among many thousands in an hourglass, the names of these four dead victims blend imperceptibly into the long list of African Americans whose lives in recent years have been snuffed out by other blacks in the killing field known as Chicago. During the past 12 months alone, more than 820 people have been victims of homicide in The Windy City. And most of them were blacks killed by other blacks.

  9. National Black Power Convention activist says a time to ‘kill everything white in sight’ will soon come

A black rights activist at a weekend rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma, said that a time would come when black Americans would need to “kill everything white in sight.”
    What’s a brief history here?

According to a Monday report from BizPac Review, groups of black nationalists gathered in Tulsa to mark the 100-year anniversary of the Black Wall Street Massacre. The race slaughter left at approximately 300 people dead in a Tulsa neighborhood once known as “Black Wall Street.”

The attack, carried out by a purportedly all-white mob, left more than 10,000 people homeless and practically demolished 40 square blocks.

In a statement to KTUL-TV, Malik Z. Shabazz, keynote speaker at the convention and national president of Black Lawyers for Justice, said, “The 100-year anniversary of the Black Wall Street Holocaust is a rallying cry to all blacks that we must fight on every front to protect the legal and human rights of our people and we must unite and organize with a zealous fierceness never witnessed before.”

The station also reported that the convention’s theme was “Reparations Now!”

  10. GOP Congresswoman’s Home Vandalized With Antifa Symbols by Katie Pavlich

Freshman Republican Congresswoman Nancy Mace is reporting that her South Carolina home, where she lives with her children, has been vandalized with a number of Antifa symbols.

“We should all be able to feel safe in our own homes, regardless of our political beliefs. I sincerely appreciate law enforcement doing all they can to find the criminal trespassers. This is the 2nd time I’ve been targeted for vandalism in the last few months,” Mace tweeted Monday morning. “There is a significant difference between nonviolent protests and criminal acts of intimidation and vandalism. I’m concerned too for my neighbors who’ve been impacted by this appalling criminal behavior. I also want to take a moment to thank those same neighbors; so many have reached out to offer their assistance and support. I cannot thank the Charleston community enough.”

“As I’ve had time to digest what has happened over the last 24 hours, I also wanted to take a moment to urge people to think about their words and their actions. It’s not just social media, but our words impact real people and impact real lives. We should take it down a notch,” she continued. “I also hope people realize just how hard I’m working for the 1st Congressional District and also how hard I’m working across both sides of the aisle – a particularly difficult task – given the vitriol of our current political environment.”

  11. Professor Dhimmblidore, stared above the heads of the students, the Houses of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender, at Oxford University’s converted Church of Irrelevance.

Dhimmblidore, was going to rename one of the four.

“Comrades,” they said, while clearing their throat. “Lesbian and Gay are Cis-Gender terms, and we cannot have them as such. Lesbianism has no place. It shall therefore be joined and become the genderless ‘Gay’: for all those with same-sex attractions.”
A murmur of approval, “and five points to Bi-Sexuals,” lofted from the pews.

“This leaves us now to create a new Sexual Identity…”
There were gasps to a hush. Uneasiness crept in. What magic did these Professors possess? The Name that cannot be mentioned – will he return? Will parents find out?

“GTBA” Dhimmbledore announced, as a new banner unfurled down from above with the words: Ageless.

“Ageless love,” where no child is left behind.” Well, the pandemonium was relentless, feet stomping to the beat of “no discrimination for us! No discrimination for us!”
After 10 minutes, tired and happy, they heard the next order of the day:
“And in the County of Oxfordshire, there shall be no more smoking of cigarettes in the open air…” The problem of removing their masks was no more.

  12. The Defender

The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) a devision of the National Institute of Health (NIH) headed by Dr. Anthony Fauci since 1984 – – has, for years, provided grants to the EcoHealth Alliance and others to conduct gain-of-function (GOF) research on Coronaviruses.

In the May 11, 2021, Senate hearing, Dr. Fauci denied ever having funded GOF Research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV). This despite clear documentation proving otherwise.

In March, 2021 the WIV deleted mentions of its collaboration with NIAID / NIH and other American research partners from its website. It also deleted descriptions of Gain of Function on the SARS virus.

The NIH/ NIAID has funded Gain of Function research to the tune of at least 41.7 million dollars. Up until 2014 this research was conducted by Ralph Baric at the University of North Carolina. After 2014 when federal funding of GOF was banned, such research was funnelled to the Wuhan Institute of Virology is EcoHealth Alliance.

In August of 2020, the NIAID announced a five year, 82 million investment in a new global network of Centers for Research in Emerging Infectious Diseases that will conduct GOF experiments to “determine what genetic or other changes make (animal) pathogens capable of infecting humans.”

The now deleted WIV web page titled “Will SARS Come Back?” Stated that:
prof Zhengli Shi of WIV in cooperation with researchers from the University of North Carolina, Harvard Medical School, Bellinzona Institute of Microbiology…examine SHC014-CoV, which is currently circulating in Chinese horseshoe bat populations.

Using the SARS-CoV reverse genetics system, the scientists generated and characterized a chimeric virus expressing the spike of the bat coronavirus SHC-014 in a mouse-adapted SARS-Coronavirus backbone.

“The results indicate that group 2b viruses encoding the SHC014 spike in a wild type backbone can efficiently use multiple or tho logs of the SARS receptor human angiotensin converting enzyme 11 (ACE2), replicate efficiently in primary human airway cells and achieve in vitro titters equivalent to epidemic strain of SARS-CoV.

Evaluation of available SARS-based immune – therapeutic and prophylactic modalities revealed poor efficacy: both monoclonal antibody and vaccine approaches failed to neutralize and protect from infection with Coronavirus using the novel spike protein. On the basis of these findings, they synthetically re-derived an infectious full-length SHC014 recombinant virus and demonstrated robust viral both in vitro and Vito…..”

Fauci Has Accomplished a Great Deal of Harm
part of the PREDICT grant went to funding GOF experiments by the WIV scientist Zhengli and Ralph Baric with the University of North Carolina. In this experiment, Zhengli and Baric used genetic engineering and synthetic biology to create a “new bat SARS-like virus…that can jump directly from its bat host to humans”. A request by Zhengli and Baric to continue their research during a moratorium on GOF was approved by the NIH. Daszak described Zhengli and Baric’s work in a 2019 interview:

“You can manipulate them (coronaviruses) in a lab pretty easily. Spike protein drives a lot of what happens with the coronavirus, zoonotic risk. So you can get the sequence, you can build a protein, and we work with Ralph Baric at the University of North Carolina to do this. Insert it into the backbone of another virus, and do some work in the lab”.
It remains to be seen if Dayak is in fact being groomed as the fall guy in this saga.

The answer is to ban research that involves making pathogens more lethal to humans. As it stands, the same establishment that is drumming up panic by warning of the emergence of new, more infectious and dangerous variants is also creating them. They just never tell us about that part.

Already scientist have figured out a way to mutate SARS-CoV-2 such that it invades human antibodies. Were this mutated virus ever to get out, we’d be in very serious trouble. While mankind has created several outbreaks, nature seems to have a way of NOT mutating animal viruses into global killers.

World leaders need to realize that funding and defending Gain of Function research is a real threat here. Fauci’s lies are a pathetic attempt to hide his agency’s involvement with GOF research that may have resulted in a global crisis.

  15. IDF seeks to fast-track revolutionary approach to decreasing future rocket fire

The Israeli military is developing a new system to intercept rockets at their ascent stage, using a network of sensors and missiles to destroy active enemy launchers within 10 to 15 seconds.

Writing in the IDF’s military think tank, the Dado Center, Maj. Gen. Aharon Haliva, Commander of the IDF’s Operations Branch, said it was time to accelerate the development of the “rocket repressing blanket” approach, which has been envisaged by IDF planners since 2019.

According to this method, forward interceptor missile batteries placed on the Gaza border can destroy most rockets in their ascent stage over Gazan territory, eliminating most warning sirens. This would leave Iron Dome batteries inside Israel to “mop up” the minority of rockets that do get past and begin descending towards Israeli cities.

Meanwhile, a network of sensors, including radars and specialized launch detectors, can be placed on large fleets of drones in the air and on the ground. This network of sensors can then guide relatively cheap missiles directly to the sources of hostile fire – the rocket launchers – destroying them within 15 seconds of their attack on Israeli cities.…

‘This is not a fictional tale’

Formulated by the IDF General Staff, the “rocket blanket” concept is part of the military’s multi-year working plan, dubbed “Momentum.”

“Its essence is positioning rapid interception and attack missile batteries on the borders of Gaza and the north, connecting them to a new system of radars and launch sensors, and taking advantage of the proximity between the launch areas and the new system to intercept the rockets while they are still climbing and to attack the launchers while they are still firing,” he explained.

This would dramatically decrease warning sirens in Israel and decrease the role of the civilian home front in future combat, he argued. It would also be efficient in attacking anti-tank missile cells and mortar launchers that have targeted Gaza-border communities during the latest conflict.…
