This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

  1. The government acting like our parents is completely at odds with how a ‘free’ society is supposed to function.

    It’s something we no longer discuss much in Canada, since all the main political parties (both provincially and federally) have decided the role of the government is to protect you from yourself.

    But shouldn’t we be discussing this?

    Shouldn’t we be having a conversation about whether the government is supposed to defend our rights, or be our parent?

    • (Thank you Johnny this opinion piece [written by someone much younger then myself and served in the military much more recently] is saying what I have been thinking and saying for a long time. The US military is filled with people who support freedom and who will never allow the American People to be oppressed by anti-freedom politicians. The wanna be Dictators can force the “freedom loving warriors” out of the military but they can’t remove their training. There are 30 million vets in the US with approximately two thirds physically capable of combat. With the vast majority of these being conservative, constitutionalist or libertarian this is a force that will ensure that the US is always free and defended.

      This “Civilian” force of trained warriors is what the Founding Fathers intended to protect the US from out own Government and is the reason that the People insisted on the Right to Keep and Bear Arms was included in the Constitution. It is also the reason why the Left wants to disarm the US civilians. Large Groups of armed civilians who are also trained killers who are experts in the intelligent use of violence to achieve a desired goal are a force that can and will defeat any enemy stupid enough to try taking them on.)

      Here are the last two paragraphs of the article:

      The establishment is now faced with a massive conundrum; by pressing their agenda within the military they are by default creating a separate and opposing military, one that could erase them from existence. Who would you put your money on? An army of limp-wristed, diversity obsessed progressives with velvet glove training? Or an army of battle hardened conservatives who walked through the pyre and came out the other side?

      Even if the objective is to debase the US military until it breaks apart, this does not mean America will go undefended. We would reorganize, perhaps as an unofficial militia system outside of federal control. In the end, a woke military cannot survive nor would it thrive; it would only inspire the revitalization of a liberty minded and free military force that would act as a counterpoint to the globalist agenda.

  5. This is noteworthy because of the effort and resources that need to be mustered for something that could be transparent. Schools could post their sources for test content and the details of curricula. Is the goal learning or indoctrination?
    This Los Angeles newspaper also fails on details. The eviction case in Israel revolves around property that Jordan expelled its Jewish owners from (and there was an international compromise and then court cases and unpaid rent, and so on).

    What, then, does this mean in the “vaccine” context? Does it change anything that we are vaccinating in defense of a bioweapon? If we admitted as much would the vaccine requirements change? Is a bioweapon attack not an act of war? Do we not counter-attack? Do we not change our therapies against the CCP virus to something that works? Just as doctors did when they ultimately discarded expensive vaccines in favour of known drugs that were cheaper and worked to solve AIDS?

    Do people not look at China with its 18% spike in GDP and wonder why? How? With its Wuhan flu problems solved in such short order while burgeoning economic wastelands like Ontario wallow in lockdown? Do the Chinese count high-cycle PCR tests as cases even as their GDP explodes? No way.

    The Covid-19 virus seems not only a weapon of asymmetrical warfare, but a perfect one because the attackers remain, essentially, hidden. It was engineered to kill and maim, but not with enough efficiency to expose it as a weapon. The injections seem to be an extension of the bioweapon, used by homegrown tyrants sympathetic to CCP power, leveraging control, destroying the economy.

          5- Scientism makes anything possible no matter how ludicrous. But it isn’t funny. As far as your imagination can stretch is how far the Left will try to stretch it to meet their ends. Climate control means controlling people. Aliens? Hey, there wasn’t a kid alive who wanted extraterrestrials to be real more than I did. If there is a kid alive today who obsessively drew as many rocket ships as I did in kindergarten he’d be tested for Asperger Syndrome.

          Suggesting that there could be an alien-invasion disinformation campaign on the globalist agenda, designed to further confuse people into submission, is something only time will reveal. However, I will posit that we need not believe the current existence of little green men with astronomically high IQ’s and out-of-this-world technology. Nope.     There may be a lot more to this story. For now, suffice it to say, it fits the pattern. Someone is giving money to one or more Bidens while seeking to work with Joe Biden, and Hunter Biden is in the middle of it.

    The someone in this case is former FBI Director Louis Freeh, the timeframe is 2016, and the New York Post sums the matter up as follows: “Former FBI Director Louis Freeh gave $100,000 to a trust for two of President Biden’s grandchildren as he sought to pursue ‘some very good and profitable matters’ with him, newly surfaced emails revealed Thursday.”

    The grandchildren in question are the children of Beau and Hallie Biden, Hunter Biden’s deceased brother and his sister-in-law. In a series of emails in 2016 and 2017, Freeh, a partner at the law firm of Freeh, Sporkin & Sullivan, discussed with Hunter the lurching progress of his effort to deposit the $100,000 with the trust for the Biden grandchildren. In fairness, we must note that Beau Biden died of brain cancer, a significant and painful event for the Biden family, and we can imagine a circle of friends closing ranks to contribute to a trust for the children.

  28. A 23-year-old Jewish man was beaten by a group of people in New York City’s Times Square on Thursday evening, police said.

    The victim was treated for minor injuries at a local hospital and then released. The incident is now being investigated as a hate crime, according to the New York City Police Department.

  37. Former FBI director Louis Freeh reportedly gave $100,000 to a trust for President Joe Biden’s grandchildren, seeking “some very good and profitable matters” with Biden, according to emails obtained by the New York Post.

    The emails reportedly emanate from Hunter Biden’s water-damaged laptop and apparently show the gifts were made in April 2016, before Hunter Biden received an email from Freeh that he “would be delighted to do future work with you.”

    The alleged emails show Freeh wrote on July 8, 2016, “I also spoke to Dad a few weeks ago and would like to explore with him some future work options. I believe that working together on these (and other legal) matters would be of value, fun, and rewarding.”

    The emails also show Freeh wrote Hunter on March 12, 2017, saying he saw Hunter’s father, Joe Biden, walking back from church, noting, “I would still like to persuade him to associate with me and FSS—as we have some very good and profitable matters which he could enhance with minimal time.”

    The New York Post reports the “initials FSS are an apparent reference to the law firm of Freeh Sporkin & Sullivan, where Freeh, a former federal judge, was a partner at the time.

        In this review, we provide an update on studies describing permissive and resistant animal species. Using a scoring system based on viral genome detection subsequent to SARS-CoV-2 inoculation, seroconversion, the development of clinical signs, and transmission to conspecifics or humans, the susceptibility of diverse animal species was classified on a semi-quantitative scale.

        While major livestock species such as pigs, cattle, and poultry are mostly resistant, companion animals appear moderately susceptible, while several model animal species used in research, including several Cricetidae species and non-human primates, are highly susceptible to SARS-CoV-2 infection.

        By natural infections, it became obvious that American minks (_Neovison vison_) in fur farms, e.g., in the Netherlands and Denmark, are highly susceptible, resulting in local epidemics in these animals.

      A second New Brunswicker has died from a rare blood clot associated with the AstraZeneca-Oxford COVID-19 vaccine, Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Jennifer Russell announced Friday.

      The person in their 50s received their first dose on April 11 and went to the hospital with symptoms of a blood clot 17 days later, she said.

      This is the province’s third case of serious adverse effects from the vaccine, and 44th COVID-related death.

      “The risks associated with this product are rare but they are real, as we have seen today,” Russell told the live COVID briefing.

      Russell participated remotely from her home. Students, staff and household members of a school community have been asked to self-isolate and she is affected, she said.

      It’s unlikely she has contracted COVID-19, she said, but it’s vital everyone follow Public Health guidance, including herself.

      New Brunswick continues to offer AstraZeneca as first doses to those 55 or older, or who are confined at home, and have provided their informed consent, depending on supply.

      The province is awaiting direction from the federal government on using another vaccine for second doses for those individuals, said Russell.

      The existing stock of roughly 3,500 doses, which will expire on May 31, will be offered as second doses to those who have already received AstraZeneca as a first dose, she said.

      Russell also announced 15 new cases, nine of which are in the Fredericton region, Zone 3.

      Public Health is monitoring the region closely, but for now, it will remain at the yellow COVID alert level, she said.

      If the situation worsens over the weekend with evidence of community spread or a spike of cases they will not hesitate to tighten restrictions, she said.

      There are now 127 active cases of COVID-19.

      Seven New Brunswickers are in hospital, including three in intensive care. One person is hospitalized outside of the province.

      New Brunswick has had 2,098 confirmed cases of COVID-19 since the pandemic began, with 1,937 recoveries so far.

      A total of 319,871 COVID tests have been conducted, including 1,581 on Wednesday.

      As of Friday, 364,386 New Brunswickers have received at least one dose of vaccine. That’s 52.6 per cent of the eligible population, aged 12 and over.

In a situation that was already a tinderbox, things escalated from there.

      Why did it happen? Why would any ordinary person get pleasure from assault?

    The Arab definition of victory is apparently that they’re not all dead after attacking Israel. All night long, Arabs in Jerusalem, Gaza and other areas celebrated the “victory” they achieved over Israel once the ceasefire was declared. Admittedly, there is a certain lack of satisfaction on the Israeli side that all of Hamas wasn’t completely obliterated and the bodies of our two kidnapped soldiers have not been returned.

    Yet in the meantime, as Israelis calmly prepares for Shabbat, Hamas has begun digging out the bodies of their terrorists from the 100 kilometers of destroyed terror tunnels. As of Friday morning, they managed to excavate 23 bodies, and that’s just the beginning.

    The IDF estimates that 5 very senior level Hamas terrorists were eliminated, 20 mid to senior level terrorists were killed, and 200 regular terrorists were removed for good, and that Hamas’s terror infrastructure and capabilities were set back years.

    Reich Chancellory, Berlin – At least 225 German citizens were murdered by Polish forces in clashes along the contested Vistula River, the Reich Ministry of Public Enlightenment and Propaganda reported over the weekend. Lightly armed members of the popularly elected Nazi Party retaliated by making a handful of citizens’ arrests in accordance with Herr Hitler’s transformative racial purity initiatives.

    German casualties included dozens of infants and disabled children, Reich Minister Joseph Goebbels told the Associated Press. Polish casualties were negligible, according to Goebbels, or at least difficult to ascertain given the “transmortal and shapeshifting tendencies” of the Jewish aggressors.

    Princeton, New Jersey – A coalition of American academics released a statement Saturday condemning the Polish aggression against Nazi Party officials in the recently established German city of Danzig.     EDITORIAL – Both sides must immediately deescalate the conflict brewing on the German-Polish border. That said, no reasonable person could argue that both sides are equally to blame. Poland’s reckless determination to defend its territory, for example, only serves to exacerbate the violence.

    Given the Führer’s enlightened leadership and ambitious progressive agenda, we must question the Polish people’s stubborn rejection of Germany’s efforts to incorporate them into the Third Reich. With respect to the Nazi regime’s so-called atrocities against Jews and other enemies of the state, the time has long past for serious-minded individuals to denounce these bogus allegations for what they are: a malicious smear campaign financed by a shadowy network of elite bankers.
