Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

  8. One ray of hope within our current confusing paradigm is the fact that once a person has become “red-pilled” it is next to impossible for them to go back to being un-red-pilled. In other words, once you start to notice that the mainstream media lies with their very breath and the Democrat politicians never have any ideas but are always furiously opposed to whatever the Republicans say or do, there is no logical way you could slide back into thinking otherwise. And if you went to a Trump rally expecting to find vicious redneck racist bullies and were instead met with the most downright neighborly people you’ve ever met, it would be difficult then to keep believing that all Republicans are evil and stupid. And it’s hard not to notice that the left wants to import so many million people from extremely poor countries because they know those poor people will be susceptible to their Democrat BS and will all vote for them and keep them in power forever. Etcetera, etcetera…

    The left is perpetrating one gigantic hoax-storm upon the world, from climate change to rape culture to Black Lives Matter, and once you notice that it’s unlikely that you will go back to thinking the way you used to. It’s called “gaslighting” and it’s designed to make you think you’ve got to be out of your ever-loving mind because you can’t believe what you’re seeing and how uninterested the mainstream media seems to be about it. It’s like a diode that forces current to flow in one direction only. Once you seriously investigate climate change, for instance, a basic intelligent understanding of the pertinent facts is a guarantee of seeing that the whole thing is utter bullshit and that atmospheric CO2 levels do not affect Earth’s temperature but are actually affected by changes in the earth’s temperature, then it becomes impossible to turn around and un-know the truth. And it’s hard to watch the Biden-Ukraine video without seeing a classic corrupt official perpetrating textbook cases of about three different serious criminal acts. Hillary is a murderer and a traitor and Biden is obviously corrupt as you can be and going senile…

    So what I’m saying is that the red pill “diode effect” might have occurred past the point of no return and Donald Trump is going to win by one great big red-pilled landslide…!

    “France will impose strict control on everyone crossing its borders in the wake of recent terrorist attacks, Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin told BFMTV broadcaster on Monday.

    “We will control [the borders] more. I made this suggestion to the Prime Minister [Jean Castex] and the President of the Republic [Emmanuel Macron] during the last defence council”, Darmanin said.

    The minister explained that the measure was aimed first and foremost at combating the Islamist ideology and not directed against foreigners in France. Other efforts include dissolving radical associations, increasing security throughout France and advancing counter-separatism legislation.

    “Terrorism has nothing to do with nationality or skin colour”, Darmanin said, adding that out of 30 lately determined radicals 22 had French citizenship.

    He also noted that the authorities had deported 16 suspected “foreign extremists” to their countries of origin in October, and a total of 458 foreign “radicals” were expelled from France over the past three years. Meanwhile, some 100 foreigners, who are suspected of extremism but are outside the jurisdiction of France, remain in temporary detention, while the authorities negotiate their return with the states concerned.

    A series of disturbing violent acts rocked France last month, including the murder of French teacher on 16 October in Paris outskirts by an Islamist teen and the deadly attack in a Catholic cathedral in Nice on 29 October, which took away three lives.

    In the wake of the national dismay over the terrorist threat, French President Emmanuel Macron announced the deployment of about 7,000 troops as part of Operation Sentinel, which the French Defence Ministry created in response to the 2015 terrorist attacks in the Il-de-France region and Paris. It includes 10,000 soldiers and 4,700 police officers and is aimed at protecting the French population from terrorism.”

    “A fire broke out at a refugee camp on the Greek island of Samos, which also recently suffered from a powerful earthquake, the country’s Migration and Asylum Ministry said on Monday.

    The fire is said to have started at approximately 02:00 GMT in the reception and identification centre, which shelters over 4,200 people.

    “Fifteen tents burned down. The residents were evacuated immediately, there have been no reports about casualties,” the ministry said in a statement, adding that the fire was small and its cause is still unknown.

    ?This is not the first time a fire has broken out in a Greek refugee camp, as the Moria refugee camp on the Lesbos island experienced several fires in March and September.

    On Friday, a strong earthquake occurred in the Aegean Sea, affecting several Greek islands and a part of western Turkey. On Samos, two people died and 20 were injured.”

    “BRITAIN is “sleepwalking” into a deadly conflict in West Africa and badly needs “more muscle” to counter Jihadi terror groups, senior defence sources have warned.

    And now a review has been ordered into the number of troops and type of equipment being sent to war-torn Mali amid fears the force is too small to handle predicted clashes.

    At least 300 soldiers will deploy to the war-torn region in just five weeks time as part of a UN peace- keeping operation.

    These will consist of Royal Anglian and Light Dragoons as well as small teams of specialists including just four full-time medics and four bomb disposal specialists.

    In July the Sunday Express revealed that an additional 45-strong Special Forces team had been sent to Mali to identify and iron out problems in advance.

    A further 100 RAF personnel and three long range Chinook helicopter have been supporting a separate French mission for the past four years.

    But senior officers have asked for an “operational rethink” about the size and capability of the planned force, focusing on potential capability gaps such as armoured protections, Apache gunships and the transportation of seriously injured soldiers who need to be ventilated to so-called role 2 or 3 hospitals.

    And last night senior sources confirmed that the request had been granted by the Commander of Joint Operations Vice Admiral Bey Key, who will include SAS reports as he oversees the assessment.

    When the UN Multidimensional Integrated Stabilisation Mission in Mali (MINUSMA) began in 2013, it was tasked with focusing on Mali’s North to help re-establish the state’s authority in the light of increasing Islamic attacks by groups including Al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb or (AQIM).

    It soon became the UN’s most dangerous mission, and last year it was forced to extend its remit to central Mali. In July, the UN Security Council agreed not to cut the number of its 13,289 soldiers and 1,920 police officers for another year, despite US protests over its annual $1.2bn budget, paid for by the UN.

    Despite the presence of these, and 5,000 French troops, the violence has engulfed the centre of the country and spread to neighbouring Burkina Faso and Niger. Attacks have grown fivefold between 2016 and 2020, with 4,000 civilians killed in 2019, up from about 770 killed in 2016.

    Around 600,000 have been displaced.

    Military forces have suffered too, with 45 French troops and 167 UN soldiers killed in the last seven years.

    Britain’s role will be to conduct long-range reconnaissance missions to offset advances by Islamic extremists.

    Soldiers will be sent for two-week long sorties in Jackals – open-topped patrol vehicles which have been armoured at the bottom to protect them from the impact of IEDs. Though they have off-road capability, their fully laden weight of 3.5 tonnes means they are not suitable for sand.

    A few Foxhounds, fully enclosed 7- tonne command vehicles, will also be sent. Though deployed as force protection vehicles at the tail end of the Afghanistan conflict , the Foxhound has never been operationally trialled in sand and is fraught with reliability issues.

    Ironically the British Army’s Mastiff heavily-armoured patrol vehicles, which has served in both Afghanistan and Iraq without casualty and can better withstand the blast of a roadside bomb, are currently being sold off so will not be available for deployment.

    Concerns are said to have increased following reports by SAS teams on the ground, who have spent the last few months identifying bottlenecks and attempting to secure intelligence sources – through payment – to ensure advanced warning of any jihadi presence in villages or towns through which these vehicles will be forced to pass.

    According to sources, interim reports by the SAS have pointed firmly to the “need for more muscle”.

    That message for a “bigger and more protected” force is said it have been passed up to Gen Sir Nick Carter, the head of Britain’s Armed Forces.

    Ministry of Defence sources remained pragmatically optimistic that the level of casualties will remain low, and highlighted new advances designed to treat injuries in situ.

    This includes the first use of powdered blood plasma, which will be combined with blood cooled by especially installed fridges on vehicles.

    But the issue of relying on a limited number of Medical Emergency Response Team (MERT) helicopters supplied by other UN nations – currently Romania – for potentially long distance evacuations is worrisome too.

    Writing in a RAF magazine, Mali veteran Flight Lieutenant Andy Donovan said: “ It would be naive to suggest that in such a volatile area British ground forces are likely to avoid confrontations with aggressive armed groups simply because they are in a peacekeeping role.

    “Direct engagements should be expected. The presence of British soldiers will blur the delineation between support and combat roles”.

    His view was echoed by senior Army sources last night, who shared concerns that the U.K. was “sleepwalking our way into a fight for which we are under-resourced.”.

    “Our soldiers will have a challenging role in the open desert, paths and desert roads ate constantly seeded with roadside bombs,” he said.

    “We need our own Apache helicopters and the ability to medically evacuate our personnel if they are injured – the current force structure is not sufficient for the role we are facing.

    “We will see people killed”

    An MoD spokesman said: “As planned and in line with our firm commitment to the UN and global security, later this year 300 military personnel will deploy to the UN mission in Mali where they will help to promote peace and help counter instability.”

    The government of Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte has raised fines to unprecedented levels for those who break the nation’s mask mandate and other new restrictions on personal freedoms, while migrants continue to stream into the country unimpeded on a daily basis, Mr. Salvini complains.

    In a Monday morning Facebook post, Salvini notes some 400 migrants arrived from north Africa to the Italian island of Lampedusa on Sunday followed by another three boats with 200 more migrants that landed Monday.

    Apparently, the Prime Minister’s health edicts “do not apply” to migrants, Salvini wrote.

    The Lega leader has also voiced his opposition to new lockdown measures, insisting that the remedy would be worse than the disease…”

    Western media outlets like the NYT would have their readers believe that Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro is a madman reviled by his own people, while attributing his historic electorial victory to some kind of fluke, or (even worse) judicial ‘meddling’ to keep corrupt ex-president Lula from winning another term.

    The reality, of course, is that Bolsonaro, like President Trump, has a devoted core following who would back him over virtually any challenger. And despite all those reports about Brazil’s ‘collapsing’ health-care system, more than 300 demonstrators gathered on the main commercial throughway in São Paulo to protest State Governor João Doria’s push for mandatory vaccinations using a vaccine developed by China’s Sinovac.

    The governor has previously backed making immunizations mandatory once vaccines are available to all. The chief justice of Brazil’s Supreme Court has said the court will ultimately decide on the issue, though, as Reuters pointed out, a number of vaccines are already obligatory in Brazil, including Hepatitis B, which is given to every newborn.

    Tens of thousands of residents in the city have already received the Sinovac vaccine as the company continues with Stage 3 trials in the area. The program seemed to have infuriated the protesters, as they waved signs claiming “we’re not guinea pigs!” Reuters reported that the “tightly packed” protesters,

    “We’re against the authoritarian Chinese ambassador João Doria, who would now make the vaccine compulsory against our wishes,” protestor Andre Petros said.

    “This doesn’t happen anywhere in the world, not even in China.”

    Brazil has the third-largest outbreak in the world, with 5.5 million confirmed cases.

    Brazil’s federal health ministry announced last month it would buy 46 million doses of the vaccine, contingent on regulatory approval, in a deal supported by state governors. But a day later right-wing President Jair Bolsonaro said that Brazil would not buy the vaccine.

    Brazil: Bolsonaro supporters rally against mandatory COVID vaccination in Sao Paulo

    Supporters of Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro rallied against mandatory COVID-19 vaccination in Sao Paulo on Sunday. The protest was held after Sao Paulo’s governor Joao Doria was quoted in media as saying that after the vaccine is approved the vaccination in the state will be mandatory.

    Protesters can be seen waving US and Brazilian flags and signs, reading “Go Trump” and “We are not guinea pigs from China.”

    Davi, one of the protesters, said: “They want us to take a vaccine, a drug that I don’t want to take. I want my right to decide, no way it has to be mandatory.”

  16. FRANCE – The government is going to dissolve the GREY WOLVES, a Turkish ultranationalist movement.

    The government will pronounce on Wednesday the dissolution of the Turkish ultranationalist movement of the Grey Wolves at a Council of Ministers meeting, Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin announced on Monday 2 November before the National Assembly’s Laws Committee.

    The group was singled out after the recent brawls between the Turkish and Armenian communities in Décines-Charpieu, near Lyon. An inscription “Grey Wolves” was also tagged on the genocide memorial and the National Center of Armenian Memory near Lyon, desecrated during the night of Saturday to Sunday.

    “The Archbishop of York, alongside other religious leaders in the United Kingdom, has called for the government to reinstate refugee resettlement programmes that were halted during the Chinese coronavirus crisis.

    The second-highest-ranking member of the Church of England, the Most Revd Stephen Cottrell wrote alongside other faith leaders that Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s government should resume the refugee schemes “immediately”.

    “Since the First World War, the United Kingdom’s refugee resettlement schemes have proved a vital lifeline to tens of thousands of people who have come to the UK escaping some of the world’s most brutal conflicts and regimes,” Archbishop Cottrell and others wrote in a letter seen by The Telegraph.

    “We are calling on the Prime Minister and the Home Office to restart these safe and legal resettlement routes immediately,” the letter added.

    The two programmes the faith leaders are referencing are the Community Sponsorship scheme and the Vulnerable Persons Resettlement Scheme, which saw approximately 20,000 Syrians relocated throughout the UK. Both programmes were launched by former Prime Minister David Cameron during the height of the European Migrant Crisis.

    The protesters chanted “God is Great” and “Boycott French products” as they marched. Their banners and placards slammed French President Emmanuel Macron, and some protesters stomped on Macron posters in the blocked streets, while others voiced their anger by burning portraits of Macron.

    “I ask the government to shut down the French Embassy. It’s a shame that they haven’t passed a resolution of condemnation in Parliament,” he said.

    Monday’s protest was the largest in a series of anti-France demonstrations in Bangladesh since last week that have called for the closure of the French Embassy and for Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to condemn France. Hasina has yet to officially comment.

    Hefazat-e-Islam and other Islamist groups and parties support the introduction of Islamic law in Bangladesh, which is governed by a legal system largely based on British common law.

    Muslim-majority countries across the world have been outraged by Macron’s refusal to condemn the publication or display of caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad. In Islam, any depiction of the prophet is prohibited. The issue reemerged following the gruesome beheading near Paris of a French teacher who showed caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad in class. The 18-year-old Chechen refugee who carried out the attack was later shot dead by police.

    The teacher, Samuel Paty, has been heralded as a symbol of France’s staunch secular ideals and its rejection of religious intrusion in public spheres. Macron and members of his government have vowed to continue supporting such caricatures as protected under freedom of expression.

    Muslim politicians, religious scholars and everyday people have condemned such depictions as a form of hate speech and view them as sacrilegious and insulting to Islam.”

    “Gunmen in Afghanistan stormed the Kabul University on Monday as it hosted a book fair attended by the Iranian ambassador, sparking an hours-long gun battle and leaving at least 19 dead and 22 wounded at the war-torn country’s largest school. Most of the casualties were students.

    There was no immediate claim of responsibility but the Taliban issued a statement denying they took part in the assault, which came as the insurgents continue peace talks with representatives of Kabul’s U.S.-backed government, with the aim to help the United States finally withdraw from Afghanistan.

    As the attack unfolded, students and teachers were seen fleeing the campus while hand grenades exploded and automatic rifle fire could be heard. Scores of Afghan special forces surrounded the campus, shepherding teachers and students to safety.

    Hours later, the chaos subsided as the sun set over the Afghan capital. The Interior Ministry’s spokesman, Tariq Arian, said three attackers were involved in the assault, all of whom were killed in the ensuing gunbattle.

    It was the second attack on an educational institution in Kabul in as many weeks. The Islamic State group claimed a brutal assault on a tutoring center in the Afghan capital’s mostly Shiite neighborhood of Dasht-e-Barchi that killed at least 24 students and wounded more than 100 others on Oct. 24…”

  24. Quebec woman accused of sending ricin letter to Trump too dangerous for release, prosecutors argue

    A Quebec woman who allegedly sent a letter laced with deadly ricin to U.S. President Donald Trump is too dangerous to be released on bail, according to prosecutors.

    U.S. Attorney Michael Sherwin argued in a submission filed in court that Pascale Ferrier’s detention was necessary for public safety and to ensure she did not flee before for her trial.

    “The nature and seriousness of the danger that she would pose if released cannot be overstated,” according to the memorandum, filed Friday in U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C.

    To bolster their case, prosecutors filed photos of their evidence, notably Ferrier’s alleged letter to Trump and the weapons she was carrying when she was arrested at the U.S. border on Sept. 20.

    The letter warned Trump to withdraw as a presidential election candidate and said he was receiving a “special gift.” Traces of toxic ricin were found in the letter, which was intercepted at a mail sorting facility.

    In what prosecutors described as a revenge campaign, Ferrier also allegedly sent eight ricin-tainted letters to officials in Texas, where she was arrested in 2019 for unlawfully carrying a firearm.

    “As a member of tyrants gang, you work for a dictatorship,” read the letter sent to an official at the Texas prison where Ferrier was held. “Then the best way to eliminate tyrants is to kill them.”

    “So I made a special gift for you, which is in this letter.”

    The letters were sent from Canada and signed “Free Rebel Spirit.” Ferrier’s fingerprints were found on the letters sent to Texas, but there were no usable prints on the letter to Trump.

    An FBI forensic handwriting analyst determined Ferrier wrote all the letters. Traces of ricin were found on a mortar and pestle seized by police from her apartment in Quebec.

    “The defendant has a deeply concerning history and characteristics that raise grave risk that she would endanger the community if released,” the prosecutors wrote in their submission.

    Ferrier is a 53-year-old web developer who immigrated from France and became a Canadian citizen in 2015. While wintering in Texas in her RV, she was arrested in April 2019.

    Court records indicate she was charged with using a fake Texas driver’s license. She was held for two months but the charge was dismissed on May 17.

    A Sept. 9 post on Ferrier’s Twitter account ended with the hashtag: #killtrump. The letter to Trump arrived at the White House mail sorting facility on Sept. 18, according to prosecutors.

    Two days later, Ferrier drove to the Peace Bridge border crossing near Buffalo, N.Y. Confronted by a U.S. Customs and Border Patrol officer, she said she was wanted by the FBI for the ricin letters.

    At the time she was carrying false Texas ID, a loaded firearm, hundreds of rounds of ammunition, two knives, a stun gun, truncheon and pepper spray, prosecutors alleged.

    “The defendant sought vengeance on the government officials who detained her lawfully last year, by sending them threatening letters and poison,” the U.S. prosecutors alleged.

    On October 24, a video published on Persian-language media showed Iranian police using tear gas and an electroshock weapon on a man who was handcuffed to a pole and could not move. The video was shared widely on social media such as Telegram, with users calling the man “Iran’s George Floyd”. In the aftermath of the video, the man died in an ambulance on the way to the hospital.

    The victim was 30-year-old Mehrdad Sepehri. According to Iranian media, his wife’s family called the police after a family disagreement. When police arrived, they handcuffed Sepehri to a pole and continued to harass him even though he posed no threat, as seen in this video.

    Sepehri became unconscious on the way from the police station to the hospital, and was pronounced dead in the ambulance. The cause of death is not yet confirmed.

    After this video was shared online, many Iranian users began to call Mehrdad Sepehri the “Iranian George Floyd” on social media. The reaction intensified after another video, showing the victim’s body in a morgue with several bruises all over his body, was published.

    Macron condemned the killing of the teacher, whom he described as a “hero” who embodied the values of France and posthumously awarded him the country’s highest civilian honour – the Légion d’Honneur. In a memorial speech Macron defended Paty’s decision to show the caricatures of the key Islamic figure, stating that the teacher’s decision is protected under France’s right to free speech.

    “We will continue, teacher. We will defend the freedom that you taught so well”, Macron told the 400 guests attending the memorial service.

    Macron’s statement, as well as the decision to project caricatures on government buildings across France, caused an uproar in some Muslim countries. Large-scale protests were held in Bangladesh, Lebanon and Malaysia. Pakistan’s prime minister, Imran Khan, called Macron’s comments divisive, while Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan asserted that the French leader needs “mental checks”.

    Pakistan and Turkey have also called for a boycott on French products.

According to unconfirmed initial reports from Vienna, the attack targeted the synagogue, which was empty. Security at the synagogue fired back and the shooter continued to attack people eating outdoors in a restaurant.

        There were reportedly two shooters, one of whom escaped. The second shooter was killed, with unconfirmed reports that he detonated a suicide belt.
