Two months ago on February 26th, practically in our prehistory, I posted this comment. Toot, toot. Except there isn’t much that’s funny about it. Many people who had underlying medical issues have died while the morbidity rate is proving to be about the same as the regular seasonal flu. Yet, our economies are in a shambles, mental health issues are the real pandemic, and the inner Hitler of our political masters is emerging like a springtime gopher. The Climate-Change crowd slipped into the CCP WMD like it was a comfy slipper, the WHO proved to be a CCP tool, and only Dear Leader proved to be an even bigger tool. Mothers are arrested taking their kids to the park, cops doing the arresting should be the ones arrested, the general population is even stupider and lazier than they were before as they grow more stoned, drunk and sedentary under lock down. Sweden, the most commie country in the western world has shown itself to be the wisest either by dumb luck or self hatred, and now I have to wear an N95 on my arse. Wonders never cease.

If I had the time, I’d write a short story about the funniest joke in the history of humanity. This joke was short and sweet and spray-painted graffiti-like on the wall of an inner-city bridge where train commuters would see it every day going to work. It all started somewhere around Philadelphia.
I wish I had the time because, man, it was one funny joke. –Something about a one-eyed imam riding a subway, who sees a kid sitting across from him with his hair dyed blue, green and red. The imam says to the kid he wonders if he’s his son because once-upon-a-time he had relations with a parrot. Anyhow, there’s more to it but I can’t say it. Too dangerous.
See, Philly commuters got it first. No one knows who wrote the joke. There were a lot of conspiracy theories floating around, of course. Some said it was an FSB operation, others said the Chi-Coms were behind it. Others said it could only have come from Jerry Seinfeld working for Mossad. Seinfeld denied it and had to go into hiding. In the end, not one forensics lab anywhere was able to track down the source.
Of course, a joke this funny merits repeating, so it was. It spread slowly, at first, but then exponentially. People most often told it before it had really sunk in–while they could still talk without laughing, because once the full depth and breadth of the punchline got a hold of them, the result was uncertain. Some survived, some didn’t.
Tragically, people were asphyxiated by their own incessant laughter. It was gruesome to witness. Others recovered but with reoccurring giggles. Sadly, medical science tried frantically to find a vaccine for laughter, but could not extract enough Leftism from the ether to make it work.
The World Health Organization was slow to call it a pandemic. They had skin in the game in the form of a bad bond scheme, plus some other dubious optics. The CDC very effectively tracked the spread. It found the joke traveled efficiently across what some scientists thought would be demographic barriers. It translated very well, for example, into Mandarin. Hungarian, a historically-isolating language for its natives, offered a good translation yet Hungarian survival rates were above average. Researchers discovered, surprisingly, that the Hungarian penchant for morosity helped with both resistance and recovery. Following some delay it even adapted to Swahili. In its beginning, Canada’s Prime Minister praised the joke for being the product of diverse and inclusive thinking–right up until he dropped dead. Scientists watched it move vigorously through various religious sectors. Only Islam branded the joke blasphemous. Horrors upon horrors were seen worldwide as observant Muslims beheaded their laughing brothers and sisters, only to then behead themselves upon finally “getting it”.
The joke revealed itself to be resistant to genetic tampering. This was proven when both Angela Merkel and Recep Erdogan ordered their respective court jesters to explain it. In both cases jesters had to insert additional lines of description for their leaders’ understanding. Both eventually succumbed, still.
The joke illuminated weaknesses in global supply chains. It started the repatriation of American manufacturing. It revealed huge cracks in the Chinese Communist Party, leading to revolution. It brought a screeching halt to Globalism. The European Union fell apart. George Soros never got it. Instead, he died peacefully while attempting to taxidermy himself with rose petals. The joke showed the world which countries had responsible health care systems and which did not. The “careful” Japanese turned out to be quite reckless in this regard. It triggered a world-wide debt crisis because Central Banks threw printing presses into overdrive to stave off economic collapse. This resulted in a new world reserve currency nicknamed the Goldback. This was coined by President Trump, who supported it with a gold derivative, resulting in an American renaissance.
The joke showed us it was more than a Black Swan. For better and worse it shone a light on much of what was working in our world and what was not. It revealed corruption and intellectual dishonesty previously hidden. It also prompted heroism and great acts of selflessness.

“On 22 April, the Iranian military said that its first military satellite Noor (Light) had been successfully placed into an orbit located 425 kilometres (624 miles) above the Earth’s surface, using a Qassed (Envoy) carrier. US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo doubted the launch’s compliance with UN resolutions.
An Iranian satellite that was launched on 22 April is inconsistent with a United Nations Security Council resolution, the UK’s Foreign Office said in a statement.
“Reports that Iran has carried out a satellite launch – using ballistic missile technology – are of significant concern and inconsistent with UN Security Council Resolution 2231”, a Foreign Office spokesman said.
“The UN has called upon Iran not to undertake any activity related to ballistic missiles designed to be capable of delivering nuclear weapons. Iran must abide by this”, the spokesman added.
“We have significant and longstanding concerns, alongside our international partners, over Iran’s ballistic missile programme, which is destabilising for the region and poses a threat to regional security”, he said.
Iran successfully placed into orbit its first military satellite earlier this week.
In January 2019, Iran failed to place several satellites into orbit. This attempt was also condemned by some Western nations, who believe that Iran’s actions violate United Nations Security Council Resolution 2231, adopted in 2015 to endorse the Iran nuclear deal.
The United States, as well as some other nations, sees the resolution as banning Iran from launching rockets. At the same time, Russia has stressed that the resolution only calls on Iran to refrain from developing ballistic missiles capable of delivering nuclear weapons.”

“The Islamic Council of Norway appears to be oblivious of the fact that we live in 2020 where gender equality is a thing. Here, the authorities have failed the minorities, once again”, writer, lecturer, and sociologist Kjetil Rolness wrote on Facebook.
“If you need a confirmation of a woman’s place in conservative religion, you have a visual guide handy here”, the website Rasjonalitet (“Rationality”) wrote.
“Guidance from the Islamic Council of Norway. Not from IslamNet. Not from Saudi Arabia. From the Islamic Council of Norway”, writer Espen Goffeng wrote. “Those of us who sometimes rail against conservative religions are often told that we are prejudiced. That we are Islamophobic, and that we distort the faith and the holy scripture (Upon closer reflection, I cannot remember being called “anti-Catholic”), he added.
“For many years, funding for reactionary mosque communities has been a disaster for integration, and for gender equality in many minority communities. The picture that the Islamic Council has now shared is an excellent illustration of the systematic disdain for women”, lawyer Nils Inge Graven wrote.
Linda Noor of the think tank Minotenk dedicated to minorities’ rights, asked what if the mother and daughter are the most learned in the family.
Tackling the criticism, the Islamic Council said that it only recommended what has been considered “the most correct and practised among Muslims”, both in Norway and internationally, and stressed that the organisation “by no means claimed that the prayer becomes invalid if a woman kneels next to a man”.
At about 200,000 followers, Islam is Norway’s second-largest religion after Lutheranism.

“AN OXFORD UNIVERSITY professor hopes her institution’s attempts to find a coronavirus vaccine fail – because she doesn’t want the UK to believe it “saved the world”.
Yesterday the first injections took place in Oxford University’s COVID-19 vaccination trial. The moment marked a major development in the race to find a cure for the pandemic, with hopes of producing a vaccine for public use as early as September.
Usually it takes years before clinical trials can take place, but academics have managed to speed up the process, reaching the phase in a matter of just weeks.
Professor of vaccinology at the Jenner Institute, Sarah Gilbert, who led the pre-clinical research, has said she has “a high degree of confidence” in the vaccine currently being trialed.
However, one of the university’s own professors reacted with dread to the idea of the UK discovering a vaccine, admitting to being “worried” Britons will be proud of their country.
Dr Emily Cousens, who researches at Oxford Brooke’s but teaches at the University of Oxford, said: “The race is on and researchers at Oxford are doing vital, life-saving work. But races have winners and losers.
“If my university is the first to develop the vaccine, I’m worried that it will be used as it has been in the past, to fulfil its political, patriotic function as proof of British excellence.
“The story will be clear: China, once again, has unleashed a threat to civilisation. But the best brains of the UK have saved the world.”
Writing for the Huffington Post, the academic also took aim at Boris Jonhson’s handing of the coronavirus crisis, criticising the Government’s response.
She admitted fearing a breakthrough vaccine would be a cause of celebration and the country would forget the “devastating” mistakes made by Government.
The Doctor said: “If there is enough vaccine to go round, the UK will be the world’s saviour.
“We’ll quickly forget the devastating delay of the UK Government to take action, as Boris Johnson proudly safeguarded British institutions like individual liberty, and the pub, over lives.”
The entire world is desperately hoping for a cure for COVID-19 to be found, with life unlikely to return to normal until a vaccine can be produced.
More than 70 vaccinations are currently in development across the globe as the entire international community prioritises finding a solution to stop coronavirus.
Researchers believe there is an 80 percent chance the vaccination currently undergoing human trials at Oxford University will work.
The UK, US, China and Germany are the only four countries to have made sufficient progress in the search for a vaccine to have moved on to clinical trials.
Speaking on Wednesday, Health Secretary Matt Hancock said he was “very proud” Oxford University had made such quick progress.
He added the UK had “put more money than any other country into the global search for a vaccine”.
There have been more than 191,000 deaths from coronavirus worldwide, with the UK recording 18,738 hospital deaths from the virus so far.
The latest official figures indicate Britain has passed the peak of the virus, however, the Government has warned it is unlikely to relax the lockdown measures currently in place across the country as it would risk a fresh surge in cases.
Mr Hancock said in yesterday’s daily Downing Street briefing: “The message remains the same that people need to stay at home to protect the NHS and save lives.
“The reason that we have clarity on that message is it has succeeded in bringing down and flattening the curve.
“But we are not through that yet and there is an awful lot of work that still needs to be done and we are absolutely determined to avoid a second peak.
“We have set out the five tests for when we should move on from the current lockdown.
“We haven’t met them yet and therefore we must keep the social distancing measures in place.”
The UK-wide lockdown was first introduced on March 23 for an initial period of three weeks.
It has since been extended by a further four weeks, meaning the country will remain under lockdown until at least May 7.”

The radio host said: “I was very angry about this, Sadiq Khan the London Mayor saying that we need to tackle this injustice. He used the word injustice that ethnic minorities were dying at a higher rate than white people.
“Do you think that is a case of someone jumping to conclusions?
“Was it helpful for Sadiq Khan to refer to this as an injustice?”
Mr Phillips replied: “Well, you’re not going to take me down that road Julia, I’m working as a scientist rather than as somebody in politics.

In his Guardian opinion, the London Mayor wrote: “At the moment, we know the age and sex of everyone who contracts and tragically dies from the coronavirus, but we still have little additional reliable information, including about their ethnicity.
“If the information was collected and published in real-time, it would help bring the true scale of the problem to light and provide more evidence about how to protect communities from the virus.”
He added: “Promises to provide this data in the future is not good enough – we need it to be collected and published right now.
“There simply is no good reason to wait
“It’s by no means a revelation that there’s a link between health and socioeconomic inequalities – certainly not for those who live these lives, or for all the charities, campaigners and organisations, including City Hall, that have been fighting these injustices for years.
“But one of the unexpected consequences of this crisis is that the depth of these inequalities is being laid bare in such a stark fashion.
“Of course I welcome the Government’s announcement last week to launch a review into why people from BAME backgrounds are being disproportionately affected by COVID-19.
“But I fear we already know the conclusions of the review, and what action is needed.””
World leaders launch WHO COVID-19 plan, but U.S. not involved
GENEVA/ZURICH (Reuters) – Global leaders joined the World Health Organization (WHO) on Friday to launch an initiative to accelerate work on drugs, tests and vaccines against COVID-19 and to share them around the world.
French President Emmanuel Macron and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen were among leaders taking part in a videoconference to announce the plan, but the United States stayed away.

“The world needs these tools and needs them fast,” WHO Director General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said as the virtual meeting got under way. “We are facing a common threat which we can only defeat with a common approach.”
The WHO said late on Thursday it would announce a “landmark collaboration” on Friday to speed development of safe, effective drugs, tests and vaccines to prevent, diagnose and treat COVID-19, the lung disease caused by the novel coronavirus.
A spokesman for the U.S. mission in Geneva told Reuters before the meeting that the United States would not be involved.

“Health Secretary Matt Hancock thanked Muslims for their Ramadan “sacrifice” on St George’s Day, but made no mention of the English national day itself.
Hancock, who as Secretary of State for the Department of Health and Social Care has arguably played the leading role for the British government in Boris Johnson’s absence — although the Prime Minister’s official substitute is Dominic Raab — neglected to mark St George’s Day in any way, or to offer a message to English citizens prevented from celebrating it properly by the lockdown regulations.
The beginning of the Islamic month of Ramadan, which fell on the same day, was another matter, however, with Hancock posting a video message thanking them effusively for their co-operation with the lockdown.
“This Ramadan, many Muslims who serve their country in the NHS [National Health Service] and in the Armed Forces and in so many other ways will not be sharing the joy of this month as they normally do,” he said.
“I want to say to all British Muslims, thank you for staying at home. I know how important the daily Iftar is, how important communal prayer is at night, and how important the Eid festival is.”
A St George’s cross flag — the flag of England, one of the four home nations that constitute the United Kingdom — did fly over Downing Street on Thursday, as has been customary every year at least since the last Labour government.
Commenters on social media who suggested Hancock had ignored Easter as well as St George’s Day were mistaken, however, as he did post a message wishing “everyone” a Happy Easter and thanking “everybody who is following the social distancing rules” at the time — although he appears to have made no specific reference to Christians, people being unable to attend church services, or any of the other important religious aspects of the holy day.
St George’s Day was marked by the Guardian with the now annual and almost traditional article labouring the point that St George was a foreigner from “modern-day Turkey” — although he lived hundreds of years before the Turks conquered and colonised the area — and to scoff at the legend that he slew his famous foe at Dragon Hill in Oxfordshire.
The Guardian neglected to mention that St George became England’s patron not because he was mistakenly believed to be English, but because an apparition of the saint was said to have aided a Crusader army at the Siege of Antioch against the Seljuk Turks, who had recently taken it from the Byzantines.”

“A homeless migrant-background man has been sentenced to two years in prison after spitting in the face of a French police officer and claiming to be infected with the Wuhan coronavirus.
A French court sentenced 39-year-old Isam Driouech to two years in prison. Driouech, along with his Moroccan migrant partner, had been involved in two robberies before his arrest that took place last month in Montauban.
The two men gathered on the evening of the 18th of March and at around 8 pm robbed another homeless man after Mr Driouech pulled out a knife and demanded his bank card, La Depeche reports.
Driouech claimed in court that the man had willingly given over his possessions and that the victim had mental health problems.
Around midnight, the pair came across an 18-year-old homeless man who they also robbed at knifepoint. The second robbery was caught on CCTV, and when confronted with the footage, Driouech claimed he had been drunk and had not slept for three days.
He also claimed not to have remembered spitting in the face of an arresting police officer and telling the officer that he had tested positive for the Wuhan coronavirus.
While the prosecution wanted four years for the 39-year-old and two years for his Moroccan partner, the court sentenced Driouech to two years and his partner to a six-month suspended sentence.
France has seen several spitting attacks on police officers since President Emmanuel Macron introduced the lockdown measures in mid-March.

It noted that migrants are often left “in improvised camps, on the streets, or in shelters that have not always implemented health protocols to protect them” against contagion,”according to the statement.
The International Organization for Migration said Thursday it had helped organize the safe return of 41 migrants from El Salvador who had been stuck in Mexico.
The migrants were checked for symptoms of COVD-19 before boarding the chartered flight. None were detected, and they will observe a quarantine period upon arrival.”

The Food and Drug Administration warned consumers Friday against taking malaria drugs chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine to treat Covid-19 outside a hospital or formal clinical trial setting after “serious” poisoning and deaths were reported.
The agency said it became aware of reports of “serious heart rhythm problems” in patients with the virus who were treated with the malaria drugs, often in combination with antibiotic azithromycin, commonly known as a Z-Pak. It also warned physicians against prescribing the drugs to treat the coronavirus outside of a hospital.
“Hydroxychloroquine and chloroquine can cause abnormal heart rhythms such as QT interval prolongation and a dangerously rapid heart rate called ventricular tachycardia,” the agency wrote in the notice. “We will continue to investigate risks associated with the use of hydroxychloroquine and chloroquine for COVID-19 and communicate publicly when we have more information.”
The peer-reviewed Journal of the American Medical Association released a new study Friday that said researchers cut short a study testing chloroquine as a potential treatment for Covid-19 over safety concerns, citing a “primary outcome” of death. Some patients developed irregular heart rates and nearly two dozen of them died after taking doses of the drug daily.
The FDA’s warning was issued after JAMA shared the study results with the scientific community but before they were released to the public.
The agency said patients taking the drugs for approved reasons, including malaria or to treat autoimmune conditions like lupus, should continue taking their medicine as prescribed.
There are no proven treatments for Covid-19, which has infected more than 2.7 million people worldwide and killed at least 191,231 as of Friday morning, according to data compiled by Johns Hopkins University. U.S. health officials say a vaccine to prevent the disease will take at least 12 to 18 months, meaning finding an effective drug treatment soon is crucial.
Chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine are known to have serious side effects, including muscle weakness and heart arrhythmia.
Chloroquine is a decades-old drug that was approved by FDA in 1949 to treat malaria. Its derivative, hydroxychloroquine, is often used by doctors to treat rheumatoid arthritis and lupus. The drugs have been touted by President Donald Trump as a potential “game-changer” in the fight against the coronavirus.
Both drugs are in clinical trials examining their effectiveness in treating the Covid-19, but neither are proven treatments.
Chloroquine gained a lot of attention after a small study of 36 Covid-19 patients published March 17 in France found that most patients taking the drug cleared the coronavirus from their system a lot faster than the control group. Adding azithromycin to the mix “was significantly more efficient for virus elimination,” the researchers said. Infectious disease experts and scientists warned that the findings were not definitive.
The FDA has cleared some emergency use of the drugs, but the agency said Friday they have not been approved to prevent or treat the coronavirus.

Abstract
Ultraviolet blood irradiation (UBI) was extensively used in the 1940s and 1950s to treat many diseases including septicemia, pneumonia, tuberculosis, arthritis, asthma and even poliomyelitis. The early studies were carried out by several physicians in USA and published in the American Journal of Surgery. However with the development of antibiotics, the use of UBI declined and it has now been called “the cure that time forgot”. Later studies were mostly performed by Russian workers and in other Eastern countries, and the modern view in Western countries is that UBI remains highly controversial. This review discusses the potential of UBI as an alternative approach to current methods used to treat infections, as an immune-modulating therapy and as a method for normalizing blood parameters. Low and mild doses of UV kill microorganisms by damaging the DNA, while any DNA damage in host cells can be rapidly repaired by DNA repair enzymes. However the use of UBI to treat septicemia cannot be solely due to UV-mediated killing of bacteria in the bloodstream, as only 5–7% of blood volume needs to be treated with UV to produce the optimum benefit, and higher doses can be damaging. There may be some similarities to extracorporeal photopheresis (ECP) using psoralens and UVA irradiation. However there are differences between UBI and ECP in that UBI tends to stimulate the immune system, while ECP tends to be immunosuppressive. With the recent emergence of bacteria that are resistant to all known antibiotics, UBI should be more investigated as an alternative approach to infections, and as an immune-modulating therapy.

New court documents filed under seal include significant exculpatory information about Michael Flynn, President Donald Trump’s former National Security Adviser, an FBI official familiar with the situation told The Federalist on Friday. The new documents, which were filed under seal by the Department of Justice Friday, allegedly include exonerating evidence about Flynn, who pleaded guilty to lying to federal investigators about his conversations with foreign diplomats as Trump’s top incoming foreign policy adviser and is currently attempting to withdraw his plea, as well as evidence of malfeasance by the FBI during its investigation of Flynn.

the daily caller – EXCLUSIVE: Source Says FBI Director Christopher Wray Pushed To Withhold Exculpatory Evidence In Mike Flynn Case
Federal Bureau of Investigations Director Christopher Wray fought to prevent exculpatory evidence from surfacing in the case of President Donald Trump’s former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn, a source with direct knowledge of the situation tells Daily Caller.
New court documents were filed in Flynn’s case Friday containing the aforementioned exculpatory evidence, commonly referred to as Brady Material. Flynn’s attorney, Sidney Powell, announced the new filing on Twitter. She has repeatedly accused the FBI and Justice Department of hiding evidence in the case.

“This afternoon, the government produced to Mr. Flynn stunning Brady evidence that proves Mr. Flynn’s allegations of having been deliberately set up and framed by corrupt agents at the top of the FBI,” Powell wrote in an additional filing. “The government has deliberately suppressed this evidence from the inception of this prosecution—knowing there was no crime by Mr. Flynn.”
“Since August 2016 at the latest, partisan FBI and DOJ leaders conspired to destroy Mr. Flynn,” she continued. “These documents show in their own handwriting and emails that they intended either to create an offense they could prosecute or at least get him fired.”
Powell claimed that more exculpatory evidence in the case will surface in the future.
An FBI official told The Federalist that FBI general counsel Dana Boente was behind the effort to block the release of the Brady Material, yet Daily Caller’s source explained Boente was acting in coordination with Wray.
The New York Times additionally reported Friday that U.S. attorney John Durham’s probe into the origins of the Trump-Russia investigation asked witnesses about a Washington Post article speculating on potential ties Flynn had to Russia.
Justice Department code clearly dictates that “government disclosure of material exculpatory and impeachment evidence is part of the constitutional guarantee to a fair trial,” and the FBI does not reserve the right to withhold exculpatory evidence.
Flynn replaced his legal team last summer after pleading guilty to charges raised by Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation. Furthermore, a judge delayed his sentencing, originally scheduled for late February, “until further notice of the court.”
Trump has flirted with the idea of issuing Flynn a full pardon.
UPDATE 5:40 pm ET: After publication, FBI Assistant Director of Public Affairs delivered the following statement to Daily Caller
“The assertion that Director Wray pushed to withhold exculpatory evidence in the Michael Flynn case is absolutely false.”
