Bart Ehrman read the Gospels from Mark to John, he realized the change in these books – from earliest to lastest – from when Jesus was The Messiah to become St Paul’s God.

In Matthew and Luke, it was at his physical birth that he was sinless from a Virgin. God was literally his father. (There are other gospels that relay stories about this child-Jesus).
In Luke, Jesus existed at the Begining of Time, and was God.

“FAR-LEFT activists have been allying with some of the world’s most brutal dictatorships to hijack UN proceedings according to a leading human rights activist.
The claim was made by Hillel Neuer, Executive Director of the Geneva based UN Watch. UN Watch seeks to monitor and counter the efforts of authoritarian regimes to gain influence through UN institutions.
Current members of the UN’s Human Right’s council include countries with deeply questionable human rights records such as Venezuela, Libya and Qatar.

Just days ago a Chinese delegate was appointed to the UN Human Rights Council consultative group for the Asia Pacific region.
The group is responsible for vetting candidates who will report on issues including freedom of speech and freedom of religion in the region.
China is a one party state where critics of the regime are regularly arrested and imprisoned, whilst religious minorities allege systematic persecution.
Mr Neuer claimed dictators are using the UN apparatus to gain the appearance of legitimacy and pre-empt criticism.
He commented: “The United Nations created 75 years ago in the aftermath of World War II was founded with great idealism.
“It was founded with great optimism but it is a political body and overtime many dictatorships realised that the best way to secure their interests was to make sure they have a seat at the table.
“They pushed very hard, countries like China, Cuba, Saudi Arabia have been almost every year on the UN Human Rights council except when they need to leave for a year because of term limits. Venezuela sits there, Pakistan, Libya and so forth.
“They’re there because they realise the United Nations does have significance. They do seek a false badge of international legitimacy.
“They go into political deals. They make trades whether it’s using political assets, financial assets, all kinds of shady deals, in order to secure their spot at the table.
“That’s why the irony is when there’s elections for the human rights council the worst dictatorships are the ones that are most aggressively pushing to obtain a seat and regrettably all too often they succeed.”
UN Watch was founded in 1993 to “monitor the performance of the United Nations by the yardstick of its own Charter”.
Mr Neuer argued the hard-left allying with ultra-reactionary groups, provided they identify as anti-western, goes a long way beyond the UN.
He said: “In the past two decades, from around the time of 9/11 and afterwards, you would routinely find in Britain at some kind of stop the war rally radical left-wing activists who’s supposed values and ideals are equality, marching arm in arm with Hamas and Hezbollah supporters who are the most fascist, fundamentalist and racist elements in society today.
“The Hamas charter is an anti-Semitic text. They don’t hide these things.
“The fact that the radical left is basically sacrificing all of their main principles – equality of women, gays, anti-racism – to join hands with as Jeremy Corbyn said “my friends” from Hamas, “my friends” from Hezbollah, this is not rational.
“We have to understand that in life although various political groups proport to have all sorts of principles and rational policies that guide them in truth things in life don’t always work that way and you have to look at outcomes to discern our true motives.

On Friday, the Indian Army released a video claiming that it retaliated in response to Pakistan’s ceasefire violation and destroyed terrorist launch pads and ammunition depots in the Pakistan side of Kashmir.
“India has carried out precision targeting of gun areas, terrorist launch pads and ammunition [depots] in response to an unprovoked ceasefire violation by Pakistan in Keran sector of Kupwara district. There have been reports of heavy damage on their (Pakistan’s) side,” India’s defence spokesperson said.
Pakistan has accused India of committing 708 ceasefire violations in 2020 so far, in which 2 citizens were killed while 42 sustained injuries. India, meanwhile, has claimed there have been over 1,100 ceasefire violations by Pakistan this year so far.
The tension between the two countries has escalated since August 2019, when India revoked the decades-old special status of Jammu and Kashmir, which Pakistan considered a violation of an existing bilateral agreement.
Islamabad has repeatedly raised the issue at international forums, including the United Nations, but New Delhi has insisted that Kashmir is an internal matter and world powers should not interfere.
The two countries have fought three wars over the Kashmir issue since gaining independence from the British rule in 1947.”

On Friday, during his show’s opening monologue, Fox News Channel’s Tucker Carlson said there were still questions about the coronavirus/COVID-19 spread that have gone unanswered, or in some cases unasked.
Carlson said one of those mysteries pertained to the virus’ seemingly selective nature, hitting some places hard while not others.
“A new draft paper by a team of scholars in Los Alamos National Laboratory, concludes that the Wuhan coronavirus is actually highly, highly infectious,” Carlson said. “Based on extensive case analysis, the researchers estimate that the average infected Wuhan resident infected 5.7 other people. That’s enough to double the epidemic in fewer than three days. Is that estimate accurate? We don’t know if it is. An awful lot of the conclusions about this virus have turned out to be embarrassingly wrong. That’s happened again and again, as we’ve told you, often with enormous consequences.”
“But for a moment, imagine this new number from Los Alamos is correct and the size of the outbreak in Wuhan was doubling every three days. Among other things, that would mean that a huge number of people there were infected with the coronavirus,” he continued. “Here’s the mystery. The Chinese government allowed five million residents to flee the City of Wuhan before they locked it down in January. Most of these people presumably went on to other places within China, and yet, according to the Chinese government, and by the way, as well as all available evidence we now have in the West, there were no other major outbreaks in China — not in Shanghai, not in Chengdu, not in Beijing. Meanwhile, other cities all over Europe and the United States have been brought to their knees by the virus. How could this be? It doesn’t seem to make any sense at all.”
Carlson added, “For some reason, almost nobody in the American media has even asked about it. That’s strange. At this point, we have no real explanation for why the coronavirus spread throughout the West, but not throughout China. We should find that out.”

Summary: A Montreal business guy, along with two other partners, chartered an Airbus 340 from China to Montreal. The idea is to provide loads of needed masks and surgical gowns and equipment for hospitals and whatever.
The aircraft is almost full loaded by now (masks and gowns) and production in China is hectic.
My note: As we’ve seen so many times, half of Chinese production is cheap and defective. The guy didn’t do his homework. He should have purchased from another country.

The U.N. chief said Christians will be celebrating Easter, Jews are marking Passover, and Muslims will soon begin the holy month of Ramadan, which are usually occasions of communities and families coming together, “of hugs and handshakes and the gathering of humanity.”
But Guterres said the coronavirus pandemic, with its lockdowns and social distancing, has led to a “surreal world” of silent streets, shuttered stores, empty places of worship and of worry “about our loved ones who are equally worried about us.”
In trying to celebrate at this time, the secretary-general urged people to remember “the most vulnerable of the vulnerable around the world” in war zones, refugee camps, slums and other places “least equipped to fight the virus.”
Guterres also said special thoughts should be given to “heroic health workers on the front lines battling this awful virus – and for all those working to keep our cities and towns going.”
He urged people to “draw strength” from communities of diverse faiths and ethnic traditions uniting “to care for one another.”
“Together, we can and will defeat this virus – with cooperation, solidarity, and faith in our common humanity,” Guterres said.”

“Authorities in Bangladesh have executed a killer of the country’s independence leader Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, nearly 45 years after the brutal assassination, a prison official said.
Abdul Majed, a former military captain, was hanged at the central jail at Keraniganj near the capital, Dhaka, just one minute past Saturday midnight, said Inspector General of Prisons Brig. Gen. A.K.M. Mustafa Kamal Pasha.
He was arrested in Dhaka on Tuesday, Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan said, adding that the arrest was “the biggest gift” for Bangladesh this year.
Majed had publicly announced his involvement in the assassination and had reportedly been hiding in India for many years. He recently returned to Bangladesh.
The execution took place after President M Abdul Hamid rejected a clemency filed by Majed, seeking mercy. His wife and other family members visited him for last time on Saturday.
Majed is one of a dozen defendants whose death sentences were upheld by the country’s Supreme Court in 2009. A trial court in 1998 had sentenced them to death for their involvement in the Aug. 15, 1975, killing of Rahman and most of his family members by a group of army officials.
Rahman was the father of current Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Hasina and her younger sister Sheikh Rehana were the only survivors in the family, as they were visiting Germany during the assassination.
After the assassination, subsequent governments and later President Ziaur Rahman awarded the killers by posting them mostly in Bangladesh’s diplomatic missions abroad. Majed was posted as Bangladesh’s ambassador to Senegal in 1980. Rahman — an ex-army chief and the husband of former Bangladeshi Prime Minister Khaleda Zia, an archrival of Hasina — was killed in a military coup in 1981. Ziaur Rahman and Sheikh Mujibur Rahman were not related.
In 2010, five others who admitted to taking part in the assassination were hanged. One man died of natural causes in Zimbabwe. The other six convicts, including Majed, were at large. At least one of them is in Canada and another in the United States, officials say.
Bangladesh became independent in 1971 through a nine-month war against what was then West Pakistan, now Pakistan, under the leadership of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Deutsche Pravda Study finds coronavirus less lethal than anticipated
Scientists in Germany have taken a close look at the region that has been hit especially hard by the coronavirus.
The affected community is Gangelt, southwest of Düsseldorf. Initial results show that 15 percent of the population has tested positive for the virus.
The scientists calculated a case fatality rate of 0,37% for the district.
That’s five times lower than what the US-based Johns Hopkins University projected for all of Germany.
This may lead to a relaxing of restrictions in some areas of daily life.
But experts warn special measures favoring older people should still be a priority.
Heinsberg’s district chief says this area narrowly missed a catastrophe.
Had the virus been detected just two weeks later, the situation would be far worse.
In the meantime, the curve of the number of infections has begun to flatten.

Voice of America is a global news network funded by American taxpayers. It spends about $200 million each year on its mission to “tell America’s story” and “present the policies of the United States clearly and effectively” to people around the globe.
Today, however, VOA too often speaks for America’s adversaries—not its citizens.
The Coronavirus pandemic is no exception. Secrecy from the Communist Party of China allowed the deadly virus to spread across the world.
Journalists should report the facts, but VOA has instead amplified Beijing’s propaganda. This week, VOA called China’s Wuhan lockdown a successful “model” copied by much of the world—and then tweeted out video of the Communist government’s celebratory light show marking the quarantine’s alleged end.
Even worse, while much of the U.S. media takes its lead from China, VOA went one step further: It created graphics with Communist government statistics to compare China’s Coronavirus death toll to America’s. As intelligence experts point out, there is simply no way to verify the accuracy of China’s numbers.
The Coronavirus story is just one example of this pattern. Last year, VOA helped highlight the Twitter feed of Iran Foreign Minister Javad Zarif while he was issuing threats against the U.S. and sharing Russian anti-U.S. propaganda videos.

“A Republican member of the US Senate has submitted a bill to withdraw US forces from Saudi Arabia if it does not adhere to the plan to reduce oil production, in order to change the direction of the oil price decline that has harmed US energy companies.
According to Al Hurra TV channel, the proposed bill submitted by Senator Bill Cassidy of Louisiana, the oil-producing state, stipulated to withdraw US forces 30 days after approval, i.e. one month faster than a similar bill introduced by two other Republican members last March.
Cassidy introduced the bill as OPEC+, a production group including Saudi Arabia and other countries in the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries and allies including Russia, closed on a deal to slash oil output by a record amount of about 15 million barrels, or 15 per cent of global production.
The spread of the coronavirus has crushed oil demand at the same time that Saudi Arabia and Russia raced to pump oil for market share, pushing prices to decline to the lowest level in 18 years.
The TV channel quoted Cassidy as stating: “The extra oil from Saudi Arabia, the world’s top oil and gas producer, has made it impossible for energy companies in the United States to compete.”
“Withdrawing US forces placed to protect others means that friendship and support are a two-way street,” he added.
Cassidy’s bill faces an uphill battle as it will have to pass the Senate, the House of Representatives and then be signed by US President Donald Trump to become law. Nonetheless, Congress could take action against Saudi Arabia if it does not comply with the plan to cut oil production.
Trump announced on Thursday evening that Moscow and Riyadh were “close” to reaching an agreement to cut production and raise oil prices. Trump added that he had made a “very good” triple phone conversation with his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, and Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud.
Russia had rejected a request by Saudi Arabia to cut production, which angered Riyadh, and decided to raise its production ceiling to record limits in the month of March.”

“On Thursday the United Nations called on European countries to end the suffering of asylum seekers who were rescued at the Mediterranean, and not to return them to Libya, to ensure their safety.
This came at a press conference held by Stephane Dujarric, spokesman for the UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, at the organisation’s headquarters in New York.
“At least six boats, with about 500 illegal immigrants on board, left the Libyan coasts since the beginning of this month, according to International Organisation for Migration (IOM) estimates,” disclosed Dujarric.
He added: “While many European countries have tightened control of their borders in an attempt to contain the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, implementing these measures in non-discriminatory ways is increasing in importance.”
Dujarric also stressed that: “The measures taken by different countries to confront the spread of the coronavirus pandemic among their citizens are in line with the principles of international law and the prioritisation of protecting the most vulnerable people.”
Earlier on Thursday, the Geneva-based IOM announced that approximately 280 asylum seekers were intercepted in the Mediterranean and returned to Libya.
According to the organisation’s statement: “The provision of assistance to women and children among the migrants has become more complicated due to the announced curfew in Tripoli.”
It warned against the consequences of the continuation of the current situation without a comprehensive approach that would provide protection to asylum seekers at the Mediterranean….”
