CHINA: 5G & THE CORONAVIRUS
Some observations:
– Switzerland and Israel have recently banned 5G technology due to health impact concerns
– 5G service was launched in Wuhan / Hubei Province on October 31, 2019

– The following video looks at 5G technology and its impact on human physiology
While I do not think that 5G is exclusively causing the Wuhan health impacts, it may be that 5G impacts are compounding or overlapping/leveraging the COVID-19/Corona Virus negative health effects.

5G & THE CHINA EPIDEMIC
Any significant deployment of 5G in Chinese cities can create human damage. And of course, in order to hide this damage, the cover story of THE VIRUS would be invoked. “Don’t blame our corporate 5G, or try to derail the hundreds of billions of dollars immediately coming our way. It’s the coronavirus. Salute the virus.” One VERY serious claim: when 5G employs a frequency band at 60GHz, disruption in oxygen molecules occurs—and the crucial ability of hemoglobin to pick up oxygen and transport it throughout the body is seriously impaired. I’ve consulted with a trusted source. So far, as I continue to look for more evidence, I believe this assessment is too convincing to dismiss. The lack of open debate among professionals is a sign that the vital issue is being pushed into the background. All in all, given the available literature on 5G, in the face of stonewalling and the refusal of telecom industry professionals to step forward with honest reports, common sense tells us to look to Wuhan and other major Chinese cities, and their rollout of 5G, for understanding the human damage there, which is being falsely labeled: “THE VIRUS IS CAUSING IT.” Globally, the ramifications of 5G are immense. What do you know? I wrote that last item about THE VIRUS on March 26, 2018, long before the current “China epidemic” emerged. Jon Rappoport

Breaking! A new virus is on the loose! Comsense-20! Symptoms include Macron supporting European border defense, Greeks standing up for themselves, general visceral sense in the population of an existential threat from Covid-19 so becoming immediately intolerant of all superfluous issues related to Leftist nonsense, including wildly expensive anthropogenic climate change remedies, false indigenous issues costing jobs by blocking railways and roads, gender magic, and Soros NGOs. CDC reporting there is no defense except only the most deeply-ingrained collectivist brainwashing, which will now be severely tested. CDC also says this virus may do to the Left what the Keynesian debt crisis may also prompt, so it is a possible double wammy against the commies. Hope at 11!

The Pakistani doctor who helped the CIA track and kill Osama bin Laden has launched a hunger strike from his prison cell, his lawyer and family said on Monday.
Shakeel Afridi has been languishing behind bars for years since his fake vaccination programme helped US agents track and kill the Al Qaeda leader in 2011.
“It is to protest the injustices and inhumane attitudes being committed against him and his family,” his brother Jamil Afridi told AFP after meeting with Afridi in a prison in central Punjab province.
His attorney Qamar Nadeem also confirmed the hunger strike.
Afridi was jailed for 33 years in May 2012 after he was convicted of having ties to militants, a charge he has always denied.

Are migrants attacking Greek police officers with teargas grenades made in Turkey?

Yesterday Greek border policemen had said to a Bulgarian reporter that they were attacked with tear gas and speculated that it was sent with drones. They had also speculated that Turkish policemen were helping cut the fence.
Turkey is stopping migrants from going to the hot spot only to send them to other places along the border.
I suspect this whole operation may rise to an act of war by Turkey against Greece.
Not just Greece, all of Europe. Erdogan is cut off from making big moves in the Middle East so if he wants to build a reputation that will allow him to become Caliph it will have to be in Europe. He can’t make that big a reputation by conquering just one nation, he has to go after all of them.
Australian maritime authorities intercepted an illegal asylum seeker boat last month and forced it to immediately return to its port of departure in Indonesia.
It is the 38th people-smuggling turnback since Operation Sovereign Borders began in 2013 under the current conservative coalition government.
All eight people on board, who were Chinese and Indonesian nationals, were returned to Indonesia, the Sydney Morning Herald reports.
Home Affairs Minister Peter Dutton said the interception and turnback reiterates Australia’s commitment to ending people smuggling and stop people risking their lives at sea.
“We will not tolerate a return to past circumstances where more than 1,200 people died at sea attempting illegal and dangerous journeys to Australia,” Dutton said.
“Illegal maritime travel to Australia is as pointless as it is dangerous. There is zero chance of illegal migration to Australia.”

Illegal immigration costs American taxpayers a mind-boggling $134.9 billion annually, according to a detailed analysis of federal, state and local programs that include education, medical, law enforcement and welfare. Conducted by the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), a Washington D.C. nonprofit dedicated to studying immigration issues, the in-depth probe reveals that state and local taxpayers get stuck with an overwhelming chunk—$116 billion—of the burden. State and local expenditures for services provided to illegal aliens total $88.9 billion and federal expenditures $45.8 billion, the analysis found. For those who claim illegal immigrants contribute by paying taxes, government figures show that only $19 billion was recouped by Uncle Sam.

“Both countries are facing low-intensity insurgencies from Kurdish militants, the Kurdish Workers Party (PKK) in the case of Turkey and the Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan (PDKI) in Iran.
A rocket has damaged a Turkish customs vehicle near the border with Iran on Monday, killing at least one customs agent and injuring others, Turkish officials have reported.
In a tweet, Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu wrote that the attack took place at 8:50 am local time, and targeted a Customs Directorate vehicle. Soylu confirmed that customs personnel were injured, and indicated that the unidentified attackers were “followed and cornered.”
Later, Turkish Trade Minister Rushar Pekan told reporters that one customs agent was killed in the attack.
Musa Isin, governor of the eastern Agri province, said the vehicle was hit while on the move on a road about 3 km from the Gurbulak border checkpoint with Iran. After being struck, the vehicle drove off the road. Security services and ambulances were sent to the area.
Turkish television channel TRT reported that three attackers had been neutralized, with the military said to have deployed 2 ATAK helicopters to conduct search operations. The outlet also reported that one soldier was seriously injured by an IED said to have been placed by the attackers and taken to hospital.
Officials have yet to confirm who may have been responsible…”
Erdogan Warns ‘Millions of Refugees’ Will Move to Turkey’s Border With EU (sputniknews, Mar 2, 2020′
https://sputniknews.com/world/202003021078450342-erdogan-says-millions-of-refugees-will-move-to-turkeys-border-with-eu/
“The dire situation in Syria’s Idlib province caused by fighting that has pitted Syrian government forces against Turkish troops and Turkish-backed militias has created a wave of refugees trying to flee the conflict. In recent days, Turkey has announced the opening of its borders with Europe, citing its inability to take in any more refugees.
“Millions of refugees” will soon be moving toward Turkey’s borders with the European Union, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has announced.
“The period of Turkey’s unilateral self-sacrifice in relation to the refugees has come to an end,” Erdogan said in a televised speech in Ankara on Monday. “Since we have opened the borders, the number of refugees heading toward Europe has reached hundreds of thousands. This number will soon be in the millions,” he warned.
According to Erdogan, European leaders have been calling him to urge him to close the borders. “They call me and say: ‘close the borders’. I tell them it is too late. The West must share the burden of responsibility for refugees. Today, I will meet with the Bulgarian prime minister, and tomorrow, I will talk to [German Chancellor Angela] Merkel. The holding of four- or five-party summits on Syria is on the agenda,” the president said.
Ankara announced the opening of its borders to Europe for refugees late last week, citing its alleged inability to take in any more refugees amid the ongoing fighting in Idlib.
The announcement prompted Greece to step up efforts to protect its borders, with Greek border police using tear gas and stun grenades to try to stop migrants from entering the country. On Friday, Turkey’s interior ministry reported that over 47,000 people had managed to make it into the EU. A day later, the ministry upped the figure to 76,000. On Sunday, French President Emmanuel Macron said Paris would express “full solidarity” with Greece and Bulgaria amid the refugee influx, and promised to provide the two countries with “immediate assistance to protect borders.”
Turkey signed a deal with Brussels in 2016 which committed Ankara to stop the refugee flow into Europe in exchange for financial assistance from Europe. However, in the years since, Ankara has repeatedly accused the bloc of not doing enough to provide aid and resettlement assistance for EU-bound migrants. EU-Turkish relations soured following the 2016 Turkish coup attempt, which prompted Erdogan’s government to launch a crackdown in which tens of thousands were rounded up, sacked, or suspended from their jobs, including ‘disloyal’ teachers, university deans, servicemen and journalists.
Turkey opened its western borders to would-be migrants amid the escalating conflict in the renegade Syrian province of Idlib, where tens of thousands of militants and Turkish forces have engaged in a major conflict with Syrian troops in recent weeks, putting the lives of civilians in the region, who number up to 3 million, in danger. The Idlib escalation began late last year, when, after repeated deadly attacks on Syrian forces by Nusra* militants, Damascus launched an offensive in the province. Tensions escalated in early February, after multiple Turkish troops were killed in a Syrian artillery attack which struck a Turkish observation post. 33 more Turkish troops were killed last week after the Syrian Army moved to repel a large-scale terrorist offensive in an area where the troops happened to be stationed.
In his speech Monday, Erdogan warned Syria that it must withdraw from Idlib “to the lines Turkey has determined as soon as possible,” or be left without “a head on their shoulders.”…”

Terror Trial For Dutch Tram Shooting That Killed Four Begins in Utrecht (breitbart, Mar 2, 2020)
https://www.breitbart.com/europe/2020/03/02/terror-trial-for-dutch-tram-shooting-that-killed-four-begins-in-utrecht/
“A terrorism trial starts Monday for a Dutch man of Turkish descent who allegedly opened fire on a tram in the central city of Utrecht last year, killing four people.
Prosecutors have charged Gokmen Tanis with four counts of murder with terrorist intent and three counts of attempted murder as well as making a terrorist threat against 17 people over his alleged role in the shooting spree on March 18, 2019.
He faces a maximum sentence of life imprisonment if convicted.
The attack on a public transport network shocked the Netherlands, which had avoided the large-scale terror attacks that have hit nearby nations Belgium and France.
The Dutch terror threat level in Utrecht was briefly raised to the highest level and people were warned to stay indoors as police swarmed through the city hunting down the shooter. Tanis was arrested in Utrecht the same day as the shooting.
Prosecutors said last year that Tanis left a hand-written note in a getaway car that said in Dutch: “I´m doing this for my religion. You kill Muslims and you want to take our religion away from us, but you won´t succeed. Allah is great.”
Prosecutors say Tanis, who acted alone, confessed last year.
He was ordered to undergo a psychological evaluation ahead of his trial.
Prosecutors last year described Tanis as a repeat offender, a drug user and “difficult person,” but said their previous investigations had not uncovered evidence he was plotting a terror attack.
The trial is scheduled to run for four days this week.”

Erdogan Delivers E.U. Migrant Ultimatum: ‘Doors Are Open… Take Your Share’ (breitbart, Mar 2, 2020)
https://www.breitbart.com/middle-east/2020/03/02/erdogan-delivers-e-u-migrant-ultimatum-doors-are-open-take-your-share/
“Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan vowed Monday to keep the doors open for migrants heading for Europe, promising he will not hinder anyone heading for the border with Greece.
He warned Europe that it will have prepare to shoulder its part of the migrant “burden.”
“After we opened the doors, there were multiple calls saying ‘close the doors’,” he said. “I told them ‘it’s done. It’s finished. The doors are now open. Now, you will have to take your share of the burden’.”
Some 13,000 migrants, including Afghans, Syrians and Iraqis, massed at Turkey’s border with Greece over the weekend after Erdogan announced Turkey would no longer prevent them from heading towards Europe’s hearland.
The move follows years of threats made by Erdogan to punish Europe for not furnishing his Islamist government with money and political support by opening Turkey’s borders — behind which are 3.5 million or more migrants waiting to travel to head west.
As Breitbart London reported, tensions at the border with Turkey began rising as thousands of migrants arrived at the frontier on unmarked buses and state-owned railways.
Greek prime minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis announced on Sunday evening that all asylum applications are being suspended in response to the crisis, and “the level of deterrence at our borders [has been increased to the maximum.”
E.U. foreign ministers are due to meet this week at the request of Greece to discuss the situation, amid fears of a repeat of the refugee influx that poisoned European politics in 2015.
Athens is to boost patrols of its land and sea borders in the north-east and was also suspending consideration of asylum applications by those who entered the country illegally, said Greek government spokesman, Stelios Petsas.”
PICTURES: Migrant Mobs Turn Violent at Greek Border, Army Deployed (breitbart, Mar 2, 2020)
https://www.breitbart.com/europe/2020/03/02/pictures-migrant-mobs-turn-violent-at-greek-border-army-deployed/
“Violent clashes erupted on the European Union’s common external border over the weekend as Greek border guards tried to stop migrants promised they could travel to Europe by the Turkish president from entering.
Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who leads the Islamist government in Ankara, told migrants the border was now open several days ago — a move widely regarded as punishment for the West’s failure to back his effective annexation of northern Syria, which has embroiled him in an increasingly deadly confrontation with the Syrian government and its backers in Russia, Iran, and Hezbollah.
The EU, including the United Kingdom, had been funnelling the Turkish government billions of euros in order to encourage Erogan to bring the flow of migrants under a modicum of control, but he has now reneged on that deal, and they are again travelling to the frontier in their tens of thousands — many of them in unmarked buses seemingly laid on for the purpose of transporting them.
The Greek border, however, remains closed, resulting in angry confrontations between Greek personnel and migrants who believed border guards on both sides of the frontier had been stood down.
Migrants have lit fires, hurled stones, and exchanged tear gas canisters with the Greek border guards, who have had to be reinforced by military personnel, in their efforts to breach the border and reach Europe.
The Greeks have for the most part held firm, although some dozens of migrants have illegally entered the country successfully, ranging down along the border in search of weak points to ford the Evros river or destroy sections of fencing with bolt cutters.
Greek prime minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis has promised that “the level of deterrence at our borders [has been increased to the maximum” and taken the extraordinary step of suspending all asylum applications.
The New York Times believes this move may have be illegal under the EU rules on asylum and immigration to which Greece is subject, but Prime Minister Mitsotakis says he has activated an emergency clause in the bloc’s treaties to “to ensure full European support”.
Whether or not this will be challenged in the Greek or EU courts by NGOs or other actors which favour open borders remains to be seen.”
Adviser to Ayatollah Khamenei becomes first senior Iranian official to die from coronavirus as opposition group claims death toll is TEN times higher than official figures (dailymail, Mar 2, 2020)
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8064663/Adviser-Ayatollah-Khamenei-senior-Iranian-official-die-coronavirus.html
“An adviser to Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has become the first senior Iranian official to be killed by coronavirus after he died at a Tehran hospital today.
Mohammad Mirmohammadi, a member of the Expediency Council which is hand-picked by the Supreme Leader, died aged 71 after falling sick with the virus.
He is one of several regime members to have caught the virus, after vice president Masoumeh Ebtekar – known in the West for her role as ‘Screaming Mary’ in the 1979 hostage crisis – and visibly struggling health minister Iraj Harirchi were also infected.
It comes as the Iranian regime was accused of ‘endangering the lives of Iranians and the world’ after alarming videos of worshippers licking a shrine emerged online.
There are also fears that Iran is covering up the true scale of the crisis, with official figures showing a suspiciously high death rate – suggesting there may be more infections than the regime is willing to admit.
Iran today confirmed 12 more deaths, taking the total to 66, but one opposition group, the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), has claimed that the death toll is as high as 650 – nearly ten times the official count…”

Refugee child drowns and Syrian man ‘shot’ as asylum seekers surge towards border between Greece and Turkey (telegraph, Mar 2, 2020)
https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2020/03/02/refugee-child-drowns-syrian-man-shot-asylum-seekers-surge-towards/
“A child has drowned and a Syrian migrant has reportedly been killed on Greece’s border with Turkey – the first deaths since Ankara decided last week to flood the frontier with refugees.
The child, a young boy, drowned after a smugglers’ boat that was taking him and dozens of other refugees from the Turkish coast capsized off the island of Lesbos.
The deaths come as tens of thousands of refugees and migrants tried to enter Greece, either by boat towards its northern Aegean islands or by crossing a land border in the far-north east of the country.
The Greek army said it would conduct military exercises along the land border on Monday, with soldiers using live ammunition.
The 24-hour exercises were due to take place close to two border posts, according to Greek media, citing an announcement by the Fourth Army Corps….”

8 suspected Rohingya gangsters shot dead in Bangladesh (abcnews, Mar 2, 2020)
https://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/suspected-rohingya-gangsters-shot-dead-bangladesh-69333932
“Bangladeshi security officials on Monday fatally shot seven suspected members of a Rohingya gang allegedly involved in drug dealing and human trafficking, officials said.
The killings occurred near a refugee camp in Teknaf in Cox’s Bazar near Bangladesh’s border with Myanmar, police Superintendent A.B.M. Masud Hossain said by phone.
More than 700,000 Rohingya Muslims fled from Myanmar after the Buddhist-majority country’s military launched a crackdown against them in August 2017 in response to an attack by insurgents, and are staying in crowded refugee camps in Bangladesh.
Hossain said the elite Rapid Action Battalion joined the operation on information that a gang of Rohingya robbers had gathered near a hill.
“The battalion has handed over the bodies to us. We will now deal with the rest of the procedures including investigation and filing cases,” he said.
Separately, he said another Rohingya man was killed early Monday during a gunfight with members of the Bangladesh Border Guards in Cox’s Bazar.
There has been a recent spike in human smuggling cases as Rohingya gangs offer refugees a better life, promising to take them to Malaysia on fishing boats through the Bay of Bengal.
On Monday, police detained 35 Rohingya, including women and children, from the Ukhiya area in Cox’s Bazar who planned to go to Malaysia illegally, police official Morjina Akter said by phone.
Akter said they would be sent back to their camps.
The Rohingya are not recognized as citizens in Myanmar, rendering them stateless, and face other forms of state-sanctioned discrimination.
International rights groups and the U.N. have called Myanmar’s campaign against the Rohingya “ethnic cleansing” involving rapes, killings and torching of thousands of homes.
Currently a total of more than 1 million Rohingya refugees live in Bangladeshi camps near the border with Myanmar.”
I’m so sick of the “Rohingya as victims” narrative..
I’ve seen plenty of interviews with Myanmar buddhist refugees, who were chased out of their villages by Rohingya with sticks, machtes and rifles. Even AI has acknowledged this, but the western press chooses to ignore that side of the story.
Do not forget Thailand, where the Rohingya gangs are waging jihad against the Buddhists.
Report: War crimes committed by almost all sides in Syria (abcnews, Mar 2, 2020)
https://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/report-war-crimes-committed-sides-syria-69334019
“Investigators for the U.N.-backed Human Rights Council said on Monday that they had found evidence of war crimes in Syria committed by nearly all sides in the conflict during the second half of last year and into January.
The investigators turned up war crimes by Russian forces, Syrian government troops, al-Qaida’s affiliate in Syria and Turkey-backed Syrian fighters.
The Commission of Inquiry for Syria has been tracking and chronicling human rights abuses and violations since shortly after Syria’s war began in 2011. They revealed the findings in their 19th regular report on Monday, this time covering July 11 last year until Jan. 10.
That period was marked by several key developments in the war.
Starting in early December, a Russia-backed Syrian government offensive began pushing into Syria’s last rebel stronghold in the northwestern Idlib province, which is dominated by al-Qaida-linked militants.
The offensive led to a surge of nearly a million Syrian civilians fleeing the fighting amid harsh winter weather. It’s the single largest wave of displacement in Syria’s nine-year civil war.
The commission’s members, headed by Brazilian lawyer Paulo Pinheiro, said Syrian women, children and other civilians face “unprecedented level of suffering and pain.”
Pinheiro also said the commission found “reasonable grounds to believe” that Russian aircraft were involved in at least two strikes on a crowded market in July and on a center for displaced persons in August.
“In both incidents, the Russian Air Force did not direct the attacks at a specific military objective, amounting to the war crime of launching indiscriminate attacks in civilian areas,” the commission said, citing witness testimonies, video footage, data imagery, reports by flight spotters, flight communication intercepts and early warning observation reports.
Pro-government forces were also alleged to have used cluster munitions in densely populated camps for displaced civilians.
The al-Qaida-linked Hayat Tahrir al-Sham was cited for carrying out at least one execution.
Elsewhere, in northeastern Syria, Turkish government troops and their allied Syrian fighters had invaded Kurdish-held areas in October.
The Human Rights Council found that the Turkey-backed Syrian National Army, the shock troops in Turkey’s offensive, may have committed the war crime of murder in the Oct. 12 killing of Syrian-Kurdish politician Hevrin Khalaf. She was the head of the Future Party of Syria.
Turkey’s stated aim in its offensive was to push the U.S.-allied Kurdish militias out of a buffer zone along the border. The invasion was precipitated by the pullback of American troops from the border.”
Merkel seeks to reassure migrant groups after racist attacks (abcnews, Mar 2, 2020)
https://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/merkel-seeks-reassure-migrant-groups-racist-attacks-69331326
“German Chancellor Angela Merkel met representatives of migrant groups Monday to reassure them that her government takes the issue of racism seriously following several attacks by far-right extremists in recent months.
A 43-year-old German man shot dead nine people with immigrant backgrounds in the Frankfurt suburb of Hanau last month.
Merkel said her government had already initiated a package of measures following last year’s shooting at a synagogue in Halle and “we hope that this will have an effect.”
But she added that “this doesn’t change the way you feel” and said she wanted to hear from migrant groups what else the government can do to reassure “everyone in this country, regardless of their skin color or faith” that their fundamental rights will be protected.”
Egypt sentences 37 to death including top militant leader (abcnews, Mar 2, 2020)
https://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/egypt-sentences-37-death-including-top-militant-leader-69331258
“An Egyptian court on Monday sentenced to death 37 defendants, including one of the country’s most high-profile militants, following their conviction of terrorism-related charges.
The Cairo Criminal Court said the defendants were charged with belonging to a local affiliate of the Islamic State group spearheading an insurgency in Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula.
Among those sentenced to death was Hisham el-Ashmawi. The militant leader is a former army officer and was captured in Libya late in 2018 by forces loyal to Libyan Gen. Khalifa Hifter, a close ally of Egypt. A military court separately sentenced el-Ashmawi to death in November for his participation in scores of attacks on government targets.
Egypt has been fighting for years militants in the restive northern Sinai area and the vast Western Desert.
The men are among more than 200 defendants accused of carrying out more than 50 militant attacks that included killing high-ranking police officers and bombings that targeted the Egyptian capital’s police headquarters. The charges include a 2013 assassination attempt on the Egyptian interior minister.
The court also sentenced 61 defendants to life in prison, and 85 others got sentences ranging from 15 to 5 years in prison.
Monday’s verdict can be appealed before a higher court.
For years, Egypt’s security forces considered el-Ashmawi the country’s most wanted militant for his intelligence value.
Egyptian authorities linked el-Ashmawi, who is in his 40s, to several major attacks, including devastating assaults on security forces near Egypt’s porous desert border with Libya.
Before he fled to Libya, el-Ashmawi helped found Ansar Beit al-Maqdis, a jihadi organization based in northern Sinai. His military expertise — he left the Egyptian army in 2011 — transformed the tiny group into a well-organized guerrilla band that later inflicted painful blows on security forces in Sinai.
Beit al-Maqdis swore allegiance to the extremist Islamic State group in November 2014 and is now known as “Welayet Sinai,” or the province of Sinai.
El-Ashmawi did not declare his allegiance to IS, which at that time was at the peak of its power and controlled about a third of both Iraq and Syria.
In an audio recording released in 2015 that is believed to be authentic, el-Ashmawi allied himself with the Islamic State group’s rival, al-Qaida, led by Egyptian militant Ayman al-Zawahri.
After fleeing to Libya, he tried to establish himself among Islamic militants and extremists in the country’s east. He created al-Mourabitoun, a militant group blamed for most of the attacks in Egypt’s remote Western Desert, such as a 2017 ambush that killed nearly 30 Christian pilgrims on their way to a monastery.
Despite government efforts for years to contain the insurgency in Sinai, it gained strength following the 2013 military overthrow of a freely elected but divisive Muslim Brotherhood president.
Since then, the government has granted police forces and courts sweeping powers in response to Islamic militant attacks. Egyptian authorities have held mass trials and sentenced hundreds of people to death.
Human rights observers have repeatedly criticized such mass sentencings in Egypt and called on authorities to ensure fair trials.”

Moment two Syrian jets downed over Idlib by Turkish forces
Two jet fighters belonging to the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) were downed by the Turkish forces in northwest Idlib province on Sunday.
Footage filmed near Khan Assubul, Idlib Governorate, shows one of the SAA jets falling from the sky in flames.
Both pilots of the aircraft can be seen landing safely using parachutes, as reported earlier by the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA).
In recent days clashes between the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and Turkish-backed militants in the Idlib countryside have intensified as the latter sought to regain control over the strategic town of Saraqib.
South Korea seeks coronavirus murder charges, over 3,000 dead worldwide
SEOUL/BEIJING (Reuters) – South Korea sought murder charges against leaders of a secretive church at the heart of its ballooning coronavirus outbreak on Monday as the global death toll rose above 3,000 and the Chinese province at the epicentre reported a fall in new cases.
World stock markets regained some calm as hopes for global interest rate cuts to soften the economic blow of the virus steadied nerves after last week’s worst plunge since the 2008 financial crisis.

SLOVAKIA Parliamentary election yesterday:
Results – Populist Party wins big.
* * *
Slovakia’s center-right populist opposition claimed victory Sunday in the country’s parliamentary election, ending the reign of the long-dominant but scandal-tainted leftist party in a move that analysts said showed a strong desire by voters to end corruption.
According to final results released Sunday by the Statistics Office, the Ordinary People group captured 25% of Saturday’s vote and 53 seats in the 150-seat parliament. The senior ruling leftist Smer-Social Democracy party led by former populist Prime Minister Robert Fico came in second with 18.3% or 38 seats.
The results steered the country to the right and could eventually make a local ally of France’s far-right National Rally party led by Marine Le Pen a part of Slovakia’s governing coalition.

Greek Government Labels Alleged Killing of Migrant on Border ‘Fake News’ (breitbart, Mar 2, 2020)
https://www.breitbart.com/europe/2020/03/02/greek-government-labels-alleged-killing-of-migrant-on-border-fake-news/
“The Greek government has claimed that a widely spread video claiming to show a migrant fatally wounded along the countries border is “fake news.”
Government spokesman Stelios Petsas commented on the footage, which was released by BBC World Service journalist Mughira Al Sharif on Monday, stating on social media platform Twitter that the alleged killing of a Syrian refugee was Turkish propaganda.
“Video showing fatality on Greek-Turkish border is fake news. We call upon everyone to use caution when reporting news that furthers Turkish propaganda,” Petsas said.
The footage claims that the man in the video is a Syrian asylum seeker named Ahmed Abu Emad who is originally from the city of Aleppo. Mr Al Sharif went on to state that the incident occurred on Monday morning at 9:07 am and the Syrian died after being shot in the throat. The true facts of the case have yet to emerge…”
ISIS threat: British troops deployed to Senegal as terrorism threat in West Africa rises (express, Mar 2, 2020)
https://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/1249593/isis-latest-news-british-army-terrorism-threat-uk-attack
“BRITISH TROOPS have been deployed to Senegal in order to provide counter-terrorism training to West African troops as the threat of terrorism in the region increases.
UK forces have been sent to West Africa in order to prevent it turning into an Islamic State and Al Qaeda “caliphate”. Dozens of troops from 1 Scots Guards and the Royal Marines are training three African nations in Senegal to tackle a number of jihadis moving and fleeing into the region.
Countries including Mali in the Sahel region are at the epicentre of the world’s fastest growing Islamist insurgency.
Extremists from IS, AL Qaeda and local groups are thought to be working together for the first time to wage mass terror.
Foreign fighters have reportedly fled Syria for the largely lawless territory of the desert.
It is here that they take bomb-making skills and terrorist training techniques.
UK officials fear this trend could continue to rise in the near future, with more planning going into overseas attacks.
Colonel Matthew Botsford, who oversees the British military training team in Nigeria, said: “What none of us want to see is a caliphate anywhere near West Africa that imposes its own regime and Islamic law.
“That’s the worst case for us.”
He said “skills and experience are being transferred” from Syria and Iraq to West Africa as IS pushed out from the Middle East.
The colonel added: “Recent events in the UK over the last couple of years have proved that there is a link to Africa to the UK and back to Africa.
“Slavery, drugs, money, trafficking, you name it.
“The UK wants to play a part in ensuring that link is broken and it doesn’t manifest itself on the streets of Germany, France or UK.”
Brigadier Gus Fair, who oversees specialised teams of British military trainers around the world, said: “The potential for it [terror] to spread here absolutely is increasing.”
He said the “aspiration” was to avoid a “perpetual crisis” by being “pre-emptive”.
In Senegal, some 30 British troops are currently stationed.
They are training around 80 Nigerian, Moroccan, and Cameroonian soldiers.
Many of these units are comprised of elite forces.
In what has been considered as a landmark exercise last week, UK forces guided the African soldiers as they attacked and detained members of a terrorist cell.
Also trained were Nigeria’s 707 special forces brigade, alongside their special boat service on a shooting range.
After completing their training, the troops will be dispatched to their home nations to defend and protect their people from a range of terror-related groups.
Later this year, 250 personnel from Light Dragoon Guards and the Royal Anglian Regiment will station themselves in Mali as part of a UN peacekeeping mission.
US General Dag Anderson, commander of special operations in Africa, has warned a “spectacular” terror attack could happen should the threat go uncrushed.
He said: “We know Al Qaeda especially has the will and desire to attack the West.”
He added that an attack similar to September 11 was their “ultimate goal” which they could easily achieve if they were allowed a safe haven to breed their ideas and training.”

St. Louis woman robbed, beaten, stabbed by 6-foot Somali migrant teen (wnd, Feb 29, 2020)

EU migrant crisis: Shocking moment Greek border guards open fire at migrant boat – video (express, Mar 2, 2020)
https://www.express.co.uk/news/world/1249808/turkey-news-eu-migrant-crisis-greek-coast-guard-video-migrant-boat
“SHOCKING footage of Greek coastguards attempting to push away a boat full of migrants by opening fire on them has emerged on social media, amid rising tensions between Turkey and the EU.
The shocking video shows an inflatable boat full of migrants trying to reach Greece from the coast of Bodrum, Turkey, but brutally stopped by two vessels of the Greek coastguard. Migrants can be seen pushed away with a stick as they attempt to climb one of the two coastguards boats. Gunshots are then fired in the sea very close to the migrants’ inflatable boat which is so full it looks close to sinking.
The disturbing footage comes as Greek police fired tear gas to repel hundreds of stone-throwing migrants who tried to force their way across the border from Turkey on Sunday, with thousands more behind them after Ankara relaxed curbs on their movement.
The Greek Government called the confrontations a threat to national security. “Do not attempt to enter Greece illegally – you will be turned back,” Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis said on Twitter after a security meeting on the situation.
It was the second straight day of clashes at the border crossing near the northeastern Greek town of Kastanies.
Video footage provided by a Greek government source and seen by Reuters also appeared to show tear gas being fired from the Turkish side of the border at the Greek riot police.
“The present situation is an active, serious, severe and asymmetrical threat to the national security of the country,” Greek government spokesman Stelios Petsas told reporters.
“These people are being used by Turkey as pawns to exert diplomatic pressure,” he added.
A child died after being pulled from the sea when a boat capsized on Monday off the Greek island of Lesbos, Greek officials said, the first reported fatality since Turkey opened its border last week to let migrants reach Europe.
Separately, two Turkish security sources told Reuters a Syrian migrant had died from injuries on Monday after Greek security forces intervened to prevent migrants crossing from Turkey into Greece, but Athens branded the claim “fake news”.
Turkey said on Thursday it would let migrants cross its borders into Europe, despite a commitment to hold them in its territory under a 2016 deal with the European Union.
Turkey’s turnabout came after an airstrike killed 33 Turkish soldiers in its neighbour Syria, and appeared to be an effort to press for more EU support in tackling the refugee crisis from Syria’s civil war.
Ankara has dismissed Greek criticism of its decision to open the border and has condemned Greece’s response to the migrants.
At least 600 people had arrived by sea on the Greek islands of Lesbos, Chios and Samos close to the Turkish coast within a few hours on Sunday morning, police said.
Along the northeastern mainland border, some migrants waded across a shallow section of the Evro River to the Greek side.
Witnesses said there were groups of up to 30, including an Afghan mother with a five-day-old infant, by the side of a road after having forded the river.
The clashes occurred later in the day at the Kastanies crossing after riot police reinforced security there. No further details were immediately available as police were escorting reporters away from the scene, citing safety considerations.
A Greek government source said some migrants had thrown metal bars.
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen expressed sympathy with Turkey over the conflict in Syria on Monday but said it was impermissible for Ankara to let refugees and migrants on its territory cross into Europe.”
B’nai Brith Canada is suing the Canadian government for failing to comply with a motion passed by its own parliament to designate Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), in its entirety, as a terrorist organization.
The motion was passed unanimously in the House of Commons in June 2018.
At a news conference in January, leaders of B’nai Brith, the Council of Iranian Canadians and the Justice 88 Campaign put the government on notice that they expected the motion to be implemented within 30 days.
In the meantime, the IRGC was responsible for downing a commercial airliner flying out of Iran last month, killing all passengers including 57 Canadians who were on board. Lies and deceit followed the crash.
Still no movement from the Canadian government, save the embarrassing bow and handshake Prime Minister Justin Trudeau bestowed upon Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif at a recent conference in Europe.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – A senior U.S. Commerce Department official who helped lead the administration’s efforts to impose export restrictions on China’s Huawei Technologies Co [HWT.UL] is resigning effective Friday, officials said on Monday.
Earl Comstock, who has served for three years as director of Policy and Strategic Planning at the department, often clashed with other administration officials on a range of issues. U.S. Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross said in a statement he valued Comstock’s “wise counsel, his deep policy expertise, his innovative thinking and leadership.” Ross added that he thanked Comstock “for his service to the American people.”
Comstock was also a key person at the department on trade issues, notably the Commerce Department’s Section 232 investigations into the national security impacts of automotive, steel and aluminum imports, and the unsuccessful effort to add a citizenship question to the 2020 U.S. Census. Comstock did not respond to a request for comment.
Comstock was a driving force behind an effort to put further restrictions on Huawei. Among these were possible rules changes aimed at curtailing foreign shipments of products with U.S. technology to the No. 2 smartphone vendor amid frustration that the company’s placement on a U.S. trade blacklist in May failed to cut off supplies.

An Obama Holdover in an Obscure Government Arm Helped Cause the Country’s Coronavirus Crisis
Who really decided to bring infected people to the United States?
Two months after the outbreak of the coronavirus, #TrumpVirus began trending on Twitter. Why? Because it’s the only chance that the Democrats have of winning back the White House in 2020.
Saddled with broken primaries whose nominee, after a possible brokered convention, will either be a Socialist who admires Communists, a senile lecher who admires young girls, or a billionaire who admires power, the coronavirus is a much more effective candidate than Sanders, Biden, or Bloomberg.
#TrumpVirus follows in the footsteps of #TrumpHurricane which attempted to blame a natural disaster and local corruption in Puerto Rico on President Trump. And that just dusted off the smears and slanders of Hurricane Katrina and substituted Puerto Ricans for black people and Trump for Bush.
Not to mention the CDC for FEMA.
