Daily Links Post graphic

Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

  1. This last article fantastically synopsises Canada’s economic and political climate. It is cold. This is also being replicated in the EU.

Smart money operates in harsh environments all the time. It can take it. No place do you find the combination of guts, brains and brawn than in business. In resource-rich Canada, for example, capital risk undertaken by the mining sector was understood by government, which gave miners as many breaks as it could. This attitude helped build the country. My father got his start in the northern mines, spending 16 hrs a day underground. I guess he double-tasked by learning english, then teaching it to his German, Swedish, Hungarian and even Russian work mates. In his spare time (!) he started building and selling houses. His first winter with his new wife and daughter was spent living in the tarped-over concrete foundation of the first house he’d started. They had a wood stove. Few people can imagine how cold the winters in Elliot Lake were in about 1955. They had real love for eachother. It was them against the world. They, and those like them, would have made it as pioneers any where, any time.

Smart money also knows when to cut its losses because it sees no chance of acceptable returns on its capital. This is another admirable quality of successful business people: they must have the honesty to fully acknowledge their shortcomings. This is a great strength. If only more people had this quality. But, then, if you listen carefully, in Dystopia you can hear the train ‘a comin’.

    • Shelled Turkish troops were among ‘terrorists’ in Idlib – Russian MOD

Turkish troops were acting inside ‘combat units’ with jihadist militants in Idlib province when they were targeted by a Syrian government airstrike on Thursday,

Russia’s Defense Ministry said. 33 Turkish soldiers were killed in the airstrike, escalating the confrontation between Russian-backed Syrian army and Turkish-backed armed militias.

    • NATO in “full solidarity with Turkey” – Stoltenberg, after Idlib troop deaths

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg briefed the media after an emergency meeting requested by Turkey, due to the escalating situation in Syria’s Idlib, in Brussels on Friday.

Stoltenberg begun his address by expressing his condolences after the deaths of 33 Turkish soldiers in an airstrike in the Syrian province of Idlib on Thursday.

The NATO chief called stated that the “dangerous situation must be de-escalated, and we urge an immediate return to the 2018 ceasefire to avoid further worsening of horrendous humanitarian situation in the region.”

“Turkey is a valued NATO ally, and Turkey is the NATO ally most affected by the terrible conflict in Syria, which has suffered the most terrorist attacks and which hosts millions of refugees,” he stressed.

Stoltenberg added that “NATO continues to support Turkey with a range of measures including by augmenting its air defences.”

On Thursday Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu requested an emergency meeting as per article four of NATO’s Washington Treaty, which provides for special consultations whenever any ally feels their territorial integrity, political independence or security is under threat.

According to Moscow, the Russian Air Force was not active in the Behun area at the time of the airstrike.

    • French jihadists are active in Battle of Idlib in Syria, FRANCE 24 reports

French jihadists are fighting in the Battle of Idlib against the Syrian regime.

They are following orders from the French jihadi recruiter Omar Omsen, who claimed independence from the Islamic State (IS) group and al Qaeda.

    • Canada and the US have been doing this trick for years. Its illegal for each country to spy on its own citizens so the US gets Canada’s CSE to spy on Americans and Canada asks various US services, probably CIA to spy on Canadians.

Chances are both countries have foregone the formalities of the law and just spy on their own citizens now directly as we learned from NSA defector, Ed Snowdon. And Canada doesn’t even have a constitution or actionable bill of rights as we see now by the insane prosecutions of fathers who do not want the state sterilizing their children.

      • Obama had the Brits and Aussies to spy on the Trump Campaign. When they are doing this with as Major political opponent the ordinary people are fair game for any government agency that wants to spy on them.

    • Surprise. And I guess the Filthy Turk sees it as an opportune time to release the Syrian Corona-spreading mob.

    • No evidence or background info offered, I call BS. Corona virus seems a very poor bioweapon to me, since it has a 98% survival rate, and cannot be contained to a geographic area. Too contagious, and an incubation time of up to 24 days. Also, some patients don’t exhibit symptoms.

The article mentions the Netherlands, one man is already infected and was hospitalized yesterday. He caught the bug in Lombardy, Italy on a business trip.

      • The Spanish Flu of the early 20th Century had a 95% or better survival rate but still killed millions of people.

What the Wuhan Virus will do is to shut down regions of Europe, disrupt their economy and cause massive unrest. This will give the Islamic Invaders a chance to sow more chaos in Europe while putting massive pressure on the EU to get NATO to help Turkey oppose Russia.

Weapons don’t have to kill to be effective, all they have to do is make life difficult to very difficult for the people being attacked. This about the money that the EU will not make when Europe has a massive slow down due to the Flu. This is a massive attack on the European economy, economic warfare not kinetic but Economic. Money is a weapon and the more money you deprive your enemy of the better off you are.

      • There is an article below about how Russia has pulled out of a projected rail line project with Iran that would have connected Turkey, Iran all the way to Turkmenistan. They pulled out because of the US scanctions against Iran.

        Economic Warfare.

      • The Wuhan Flu is rather interesting.

From my research, about 80% of sufferers experience it as nothing more than a mild cold.

Of the other 20% who develop the pneumonia, the mortality rate is at about 60%. Being infected the 2nd time has high rate of heart attack deaths, due to immune system miss-reaction.

If you wanted to ‘wipe out’ the ‘useless’ elderly population, this is the virus for you.

George Bernard Shaw and all that…

        • This means that the majority of the people who get sick will probably be in the ghetto/no go retions. Those are the regions with the most insanitary conditions and where you will fine the most people with preexisting low grade infections.

Following the February 24 arrest of documentary filmmaker Melissa Cox, Reporters Without Borders (RSF) calls on the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) to respect the rights of journalists covering indigenous protests and to ensure journalists can do their work without being subject to punitive action. The RCMP should not file charges against this journalist.

Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) arrested American documentary filmmaker Melissa Cox on February 24 in New Hazelton, British Columbia, where Cox was filming Wet’suwet’en First Nation land defenders’ ongoing efforts to resist a gas pipeline from being constructed through their territory. At the time of the arrest Cox was filming tribal chiefs and supporters blocking railroad tracks that run through New Hazelton as an act of solidarity with the Wet’suwet’en. She was wearing a press pass. During her arrest, the RCMP allegedly used excessive force, twisting Cox’s arm and tossing her camera on the ground. While police did not charge Cox, she is required to appear in court on April 24, when authorities will decide if they plan to file charges. Fourteen people were arrested during the Gitxsan’s solidarity protest that night.

  7. Russia Pulls Out Of $1.3 Billion Railway Project With Iran

The state-owned Russian Railways has pulled out from a $ 1.3 billion project for electrification of a railway line between Garmsar, in Iran and Ince Burun (Narrow Cape) in Turkey.

The Russain company has given up the project under the pressure of U.S. sanctions imposed on the Islamic Republic of Iran, Interfax reported on Tuesday, February 25.

The project envisaged the electrification of 495 km, including 203 km through mountainous terrain—the line, with 31 stations, expected to pass through 95 tunnels.

Furthermore, the railway line was designed to connect Turkey via Iran to Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan.

    The Ultimate Stress Test

Israel’s Yamam elite counter-terrorism warfare unit is similar to the U.S. Seal Team 6. Yamam has successfully thwarted multiple terrorist attacks, hijackings, kidnappings, bomb threats, and rescued hostages. The Israeli unit has won the International SWAT competition multiple times, competing against 27 top-rated police and federal SWAT teams from around the world.

While Yamam members face the most stressful situations imaginable, there have been no suicides or rogue agents who have broken down psychologically. The selection process for Yamam weeds out applicants with low resilience and the unit’s training is directed toward fostering resilience and high stress management.

Candidates are specifically screened for these six character traits: Motivation and psychologic stability, excellent physical conditioning, emotional intelligence, high intellectual capacity, great social skills and teamwork, and excellent problem solving and physical skills.

“School pupils are being trained to use potentially life-saving bleed control kits amid Britain’s knife crime epidemic.

The Midlands Air Ambulance, which is delivering the training, has seen a ‘huge increase’ in knife attacks and last year attended an average of two stabbings per week.

It said it is aiming its first-aid courses at youths because they are among the most likely to be first on the scene of an attack.

The specialist kits, which are designed to treat potentially catastrophic bleed injuries, contain items such as a military-grade tourniquet, heavy duty bandages and a foil blanket.

Hundreds of the kits have already been introduced in pubs and clubs in London and Birmingham….”

  11. A Plea Against “Anti-Semitism”

The term “anti-Semitism” is much in use, but it is terribly problematic. Indeed, it is part of the problem and should be dropped from use. “Anti-Semitism” posits the falsehood that Jews are “Semites.” Jews are – Jews. The term “Semites” implies race. Jews are not a race. In fact, no one is. “Race” is a notion invented by racists who wish to establish hierarchies among groups, with themselves in the uppermost one.

The term “anti-Semitism” was introduced by a Jew-hater, Wilhelm Marr, when he founded the “League of Anti-Semites” in Germany in 1879. Marr divided groups into racial entities and posited a deathly struggle with “Jewishness,” which posed a lethal threat to “Germanness,” Germany, and indeed, the entire Western world. Marr’s paranoid vision, with the core common to all Jew-hatred – that Jews are not weak, disadvantaged, or victimized but on the contrary, demonically strong and threatening – continues to this day.

“Anti-Semitism” is a euphemism, at best, a dressed-up term to avoid saying “Jews,” when this is about hatred of Jews. The term should be removed from use. People who hate Jews are Jew-haters. Speech or other acts that target Jews are anti-Jewish.

    ……….
Accurate terminology may be a lost cause on this one, I’m afraid.
Every few months an article like this one turns up, recently in Elder Of Ziyon, “Antisemitism: Spell it Without the Hyphen, Please.” http://elderofziyon.blogspot.com/2019/05/antisemitism-spell-it-without-hyphen.html
And then the Elder himself goes back to the hyphen in the next article.

But maybe not. It’s one less character to type, and that’s not nothing.

  12. ‘The Hungarian People Must be Protected’ – Budapest Braces for New Migrant Wave, Coronavirus Spread (breitbart, Feb 28, 2020)
    https://www.breitbart.com/europe/2020/02/28/the-hungarian-people-must-be-protected-budapest-braces-for-new-migrant-wave-coronavirus-spread/

“With Turkey announcing it will open its borders to Syria and allow migrants to pass into Europe unhindered even as coronavirus cases in the Middle East rise, the Hungarian government has committed to protecting its people.

Speaking on Kossuth Radio, Hungarian prime minister Viktor Orbán warned that with the coronavirus already established in Italy and other European countries, “it has to be said that the virus will also appear in Hungary.”

The Fidesz leader promised that his government was “in charge of it, working 24 hours a day,” and that a special operations unit focused on prevention had been established a month ago.

“All important information will be shared. The Hungarian team consists of internationally outstanding professionals,” he said,

With the Turkish government having just announced that it will open its borders to Syria and allow migrants to pass straight through to Europe unhindered, however, Orbán was at pains to stress that the coronavirus is not the only challenge the continent is facing.

“Despite all the attention the coronavirus is attracting, migration remains a historical challenge. The upward flow [of migrants] from the south is a historical trend, and we stand in the way,” he said.

“Where will the flow from the south be stopped? I have always maintained that the invasion of migratory masses is wave-like,” he continued.

“We must expect another migratory wave and mass attack on the Hungarian border fence, [and] the Hungarian border must be protected.”

The threat of a coronavirus pandemic and the threat of the migrant crisis in Europe escalating back to its 2015-16 heights should not necessarily be considered as entirely separate, however, with the illegal, unregulated flow of hundreds of thousands of people from the Middle East potentially serving as a new vector for the virus.

Asked by Breitbart London what the Hungarian government was doing to prepare for this twin threat, specifically, a spokesman for the Cabinet Office vowed that “Hungary’s border and the Hungarian people must be protected.”

“Regardless of the sizes of migrant flows, the Hungarian border policing organisations are able to operate and maintain a secure border fence,” he insisted.”

  13. Slovenia: Ally of Viktor Orban Becomes Prime Minister In Melania’s Homeland (breitbart, Feb 28, 2020)
    https://www.breitbart.com/europe/2020/02/28/slovenia-ally-of-viktor-orban-becomes-prime-minister-of-melanias-homeland/

“Anti-mass migration Slovenian Democratic Party leader Janez Jansa, a close ally of Hungarian prime minister Viktor Orban, has been appointed Slovenia’s new prime minister.

The President of Slovenia, Borut Pahor, appointed Jansa as Prime Minister this week following a coalition deal between his party and three other parties in the Slovenian parliament, La Liberté reports.

The appointment of Jansa comes following the collapse of the previous centre-left coalition government under Marjan Sarec, who resigned in January.

Mr Jansa’s Slovenian Democratic Party (SDS) had come first in the last national election in 2018 but had not managed to secure enough coalition partners to form a government.

The new government is expected to tighten border controls, reform the country’s asylum policy, and eventually reintroduce six months of mandatory military service.

The vote to confirm the appointment of Mr Jansa is expected to take place in the Slovenian parliament next week, with a full list of government ministers expected later in March.

The appointment of an anti-mass migration leader comes as the Balkan migration route has begun to see a surge in activity in recent months.

Just under two weeks ago, Bosnian security minister Fahrudin Radoncic warned that as many as 100,000 migrants could be heading from Greece into Western Europe in the coming weeks.

Radoncic added that the border of Bosnia would not be able to handle such a large influx noting that the country did not have the manpower to guard the entire border.

Greece has also warned that up to 100,000 migrants could enter their country from the Middle East by the end of this year.

“The crisis is current and it is serious,” said Manos Logothetis, the Greek government commissioner for the initial reception of refugees.

These warnings have now taken on an even more urgent character, with the Turkish government having reportedly moved to open its border with Syria and permit unhindered passage to Europe — even as coronavirus cases are rising across the Middle East.”

  14. Former MI5 Boss Calls For ‘Whole Life’ Prison Sentences for Terrorists (breitbart, Feb 28, 2020)
    https://www.breitbart.com/europe/2020/02/28/former-mi5-boss-calls-for-whole-life-prison-sentences-for-terrorists/

“The former director-general of MI5 said that while he backs the emergency legislation to prevent the automatic release of terrorists, he said that those convicted of serious terror-related crimes should serve their “whole life” behind bars.

The Terrorist Offenders (Restriction of Early Release) Bill, which officially became law last night after passing through the House of Commons, bars the automatic release of convicted terrorists. However, Jonathan Evans, who served as head of the Security Service until his retirement in 2013, called on the government to enact harsher sentences for terrorists.

“I think there’s a case for whole life tariffs and from my perspective, it would not be a major problem if they were introduced more widely for very serious terrorist offences.’ Whole life tariffs are usually imposed on the very worst murderers such as serial killers and child killers,” he said per the Daily Mail.

The emergency legislation was introduced following the Streatham Terrorist attack, in which Sudesh Amman stabbed two people in London, just days after being automatically released from prison halfway through his term. The new law mandates that terrorists must serve at least two-thirds of their prison sentence and must appear before a parole board of judges and psychiatrists.

The bill was rushed through the legislative process before February 28, in order to prevent the automatic early release of Mohammed Zahir Khan, who was sentenced to four and a half years in prison for spreading terrorist propaganda material in 2018. Approximately 50 other terrorists will be blocked from automatic release under the Restriction of Early Release Bill.

In response to the new legislation, Justice Secretary Robert Buckland said: “No terrorist should be released early only to kill and maim on our streets. Protecting the public is Government’s first duty and our message is clear – enough is enough.”

“From today, terrorist offenders will only be released before the end of their sentence if the independent Parole Board is satisfied they no longer pose a threat, and they will face the strictest possible conditions and monitoring upon release,” Buckland added.

Before the bill was passed, Lord Edward Garnier, said that it is “delusional” to think that the increased sentences will prevent terrorists from committing violence again once released, calling for increased funding for rehabilitation in prisons.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson said earlier this month that he does not believe that rehabilitation is possible for many terrorists.

“I think, looking at the problems we have with re-educating and reclaiming and rehabilitating people who succumb to Islamism, it’s very, very hard, and very tough, and it can happen, but the instances of success are really very few,” Johnson confessed.

“[W]e need to be frank about that, and we need to think about how we handle that in our criminal justice system,” he added.”

  15. None Held Responsible After Three-Day Swedish No-Go-Zone Riot (breitbart, Feb 28, 2020)
    https://www.breitbart.com/europe/2020/02/28/none-held-responsible-three-day-swedish-no-go-zone-riot/

“Two months after riots rocked the “vulnerable” no-go area of Kronogården in Trollhättan, local police have yet to charge or prosecute anyone involved for rioting.

At least 18 crimes were committed over the course of December 8th, 9th and the 12th, when gangs of youths attacked police, with one officer being struck in the head with a bottle. Members of the public were also attacked and set cars on fire, broadcaster SVT reports.

Two investigations are still ongoing with a third having been closed. According to investigator Fredrik Brax, the police have a lot of footage they are examining but as most of those involved were wearing masks, identification of culprits has proven difficult.

Just one man, who spat on a police officer, was charged during the riots with any crime at all, but was not charged for taking part in the rioting itself.

According to police, the Kronogården areas saw 21 violent incidents described as being “of a very serious nature” in December of last year.

Police released a statement on the current state of the area saying, “For some years now, with some regularity, attacks against police and other emergency personnel have occurred. It is done by rockets and rockets and so-called bangers.”

“Those who attack do so in larger groups and with hoods and scarves for the faces, they are often difficult to identify even if there is footage from our body cameras. The attacks usually take place in the dark and from different directions by easily moving young people,” they added.

Attacks on police in the Kronogården are not new. In 2017, officers were attacked by a mob of up to 100 people in another multi-night riot.

Peter Asp, the communications officer for the City of Trollhattan, claimed that the rioting was sparked by gang rivalries and those behind it were largely Somali immigrants.

No-go areas continue to be a major problem in Sweden with a report released in June of last year suggesting that as many as 23 areas have been deemed “particularly vulnerable”, with the list of vulnerable areas overall being as high as 61.”

    https://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/prague-muslim-leader-sentenced-terror-charges-69282090

“A Czech court on Friday convicted a former Prague Muslim leader of being part of a terror group and financing terrorism, sentencing him to 10 years in prison.

Prosecutors said imam Samer Shehadeh helped his brother Omar and later his brother’s wife, Fatima Hudkova, travel to Syria to join a terror group known as Jabhat Fateh al-Sham.

Prosecutors also said Shehadeh sent unspecified sums of money to the group that seeks to replace the regime of Syrian President Bashar Assad with an Islamic state.

Two other people in the same case were convicted of terror charges in absentia by Prague’s Municipal Court. One received a prison term of 11 years and the other person was given a term of six years.

Shehadeh didn’t deny the charges but said he didn’t consider his deeds a crime because he doesn’t recognize the Syrian government and doesn’t consider the group terrorist.

Shehadeh can still appeal the verdict.

The members of Prague’s Muslim community distanced themselves from his activities.”

  20. WHO’S MALARIA VACCINE STUDY REPRESENTS A “SERIOUS BREACH OF INTERNATIONAL ETHICAL STANDARDS”
A large scale malaria vaccine study led by the World Health Organization has been criticised by a leading bioethicist for committing a “serious breach” of international ethical standards. The cluster randomised study in Africa is already under way in Malawi, Ghana, and Kenya, where 720?000 children will receive the RTS,S vaccine, known as Mosquirix, over the next two years. Mosquirix, the world’s first licensed malaria vaccine, was positively reviewed by the European Medicines Agency, but its use is being limited to pilot implementation, in part to evaluate outstanding safety concerns that emerged from previous clinical trials. These were a rate of meningitis in those receiving Mosquirix 10 times that of those who did not, increased cerebral malaria cases, and a doubling in the risk of death (from any cause) in girls. WHO contends that the study is a “pilot introduction” and not a “research activity.” It says that those children living in areas randomised to receive the new vaccine will do so as part of each country’s routine vaccination schedule and that consent is “implied.” He also noted that the human rights provisions of the Malawi constitution include a specific provision prohibiting the use of a waiver under any circumstances: “No person shall be subjected to medical or scientific experimentation without his or her consent.” Peter Doshi, associate editor, BMJ

    • BBC – Paris Gare de Lyon: Fire at station amid DR Congo concert protest

Police evacuated Paris’s Gare de Lyon station after protesters started a fire to try to disrupt a concert by a Congolese singer.

Political opponents of the DR Congo government set fire to parked scooters, motorcycles and bins and blocked firefighters from tackling the blaze.

They accuse singer Fally Ipupa of being too close to the Congolese government.

Police had earlier banned protests against the concert, citing a “tense political context”.

A large plume of smoke was visible above the station and smoke was also seen inside the Gare de Lyon metro and suburban rail stations.

Victoria Williams from the UK was in the Gare de Lyon at the time.

“There was big thick smoke. People were surging and setting fire to things,” she said. “It just seemed to get very ugly, very quickly. Traffic was gridlocked in every direction, it was pandemonium.

“The protesters were throwing anything they could at the police and fire brigade who were just trying to do their job. They were just setting fire to anything they could and fighting with each other.”

Police described efforts to prevent firefighters from reaching the scene as “scandalous behaviour”.

Before the concert police had warned of significant calls on social media for protesters to “clash with concertgoers”.

One protester told Reuters they had been trying to block people from attending. They say Fally Ipupa is too close to President Felix Tshisekedi, who took power a year ago.

Congolese media said members of the Congolese diaspora had come from other European cities, including London, Brussels and Vienna, to try to disrupt the concert.

  23. Report: Greece Sends 50 Naval Vessels To Guard Border After Turkey Opens Gates (breitbart, Feb 28, 2020)
    https://www.breitbart.com/europe/2020/02/28/report-greece-sends-50-naval-vessels-to-guard-border-after-turkey-opens-gates/

“Greece has completely shut down its borders Friday, sending dozens of naval vessels to patrol the Greek islands after Turkey announced it would allow all Syrian migrants to head to Europe.

A government representative, who wished to remain anonymous, told German media that Greece has closed its entire land and sea border with Turkey and will allow no one to cross the border at all, German tabloid Bild reports. Citing sources, the newspaper claimed 50 naval ships — likely predominantly patrol vessels — of the Hellenic Navy supported by helicopters were being sent to the European Union’s external border.

The newspaper also cited accounts of Greek authorities setting off tear gas at land border crossing points as migrants attempted to move into Europe.

The Turkish government has not made an official government announcement that the border is open but a source informed news agency Reuters that all border guards, police and Turkish coastguard officers were ordered to stand down.

Turkish journalist Ragip Solyu added that the border would be open for all Syrians wanting to head to Europe for the next 72 hours.

Ömer Celik, the spokesman for the Islamist AKP party, the party of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, alluded to the fact that the borders could be opened stating, “Our refugee policy remains the same, but here we have a situation. We can no longer keep the refugees.”

Can Dündar, a Turkish journalist who fled from the Erdogan regime to Germany, made a post on social media platform Twitter claiming to show a video of released Syrian prisoners heading for the Greek border.

Other news agencies have shown similar videos and photographs and claimed that hundreds of migrants have begun attempting to cross into Greece.

Greek government sources have said Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis has greatly increased overall security on the border and Lieutenant General Konstantinos Floros, head of the Hellenic Armed Forces also travelled to the region of Evros to prepare for an expected surge in migrants.

The new wave of migrants comes as tensions on the Greek islands of Lesbos and Chios remain high following riots involving locals who injured dozens of police officers while protesting against the building of new migrant centres.

A total of 52 officers and 10 local residents were injured during the riots and Greek police have announced they will be launching a probe into the incidents.”

  24. As the Scarlet Fever swung around and sauntered out of the Plymouth harbour in search of carnal pleasures, the cruise-ship Liberty on the setting horizon, was about to enter British Waters.

“This is the Captain speaking…,” She paused to let the passengers focus. “We are leaving Maritime Law and now entering Hate Speech Territorial Waters, please abide by the local restrictions.”.

The free-smoking areas – of bars, restaurants and outdoor pools – had temporarily been prohibited. “All TVs on-board, are restricted to the internet only. The BBC Licence Fee prevents anyone from watching live broadcasts.”. A groan of dhimmitude came from the returning Socialists, and a groan of annoyance from those from the Land of the Free.

The Liberty, a 4,0260 capacity ship, was the second of its class taking people on their ‘Taste of Freedom’ Voyages. A magical experience. A harkback to the cruise ships of sixty years ago.

Passengers, who had been treated as adults out at sea, were now at the mercy of the Ports they were entering.

Abiola, looked up at his father. “I don’t want to leave the ship, I can’t remember all the pronouns they use,” he complained.
“We are only going to look at the buildings,” was the reply, ” to see the legacy of what was once a mighty people.”. His son scowled. “So if someone talks to you, just say you don’t know Broken-English.”.

The captain commanded the horn to be blasted three time. Dread and resentment befell the vessel on those disembarking until next year, and on those eager to set sail to continue with a freedom-of-conscience they had never experienced before.

The alliance was launched by former leader of English Defence League (EDL) Tommy Robinson, member of the UK Independence Party (UKIP) Carl Benjamin and founder of The Brexit Party Catherine Blaiklock.

Robinson noted that the alliance “is different people coming together and trying to build a movement across the country. Like an actual movement of people.”

“People feel silenced, people feel they can’t speak about certain issues, issues that are going to affect their children and affect our country,” he added.

Pastor Wale Babatunde, who also spoke at the event, said, “People from outside will come into somebody else’s nation, and you want to take over, you want to change their culture, and yet the English don’t have the right to speak their mind. It’s a shame.”

Over 90 Chinese migrants were caught by the Border Patrol trying to enter the United States this year.

According to Brandon Judd, the president of the National Border Patrol Council (NBPC), on February 10, three Chinese nationals were apprehended illegally entering Texas with flu-like symptoms, and had to be quarantined. “Luckily they did not have the coronavirus,” he said. “But this is a wake-up call.”

Border Patrol personnel have been handed respirators and told to isolate the large number of Chinese migrants who are continuing to illegally enter the United States.

According to Todd Bensman of the Middle East Forum, his source in the Border Patrol told him that, “What we cannot ascertain is if they are isolated until they come back negative. A lot of that is ‘medical’ and some managers treat it like it’s personal information. So we are not privy to the results of where they go after.”

We know that some of the CDC test kits meant to detect the coronavirus were flawed. It’s possible that migrants carrying the coronavirus have not been properly detected and may be spreading it even now.

  29. Islamic Republic is Now Ground Zero for Deadly Coronavirus

Iran’s Vice President for Women and Family Affairs becomes latest victim of COVID-19 pandemic.
    February 28, 2020
    Ari Lieberman

On Thursday, Iran’s Ministry of Health announced that thus far, 26 people infected with the coronavirus, also known as COVID-19, have died and that there were an additional 245 confirmed cases. The latest victim of the disease is Masoumeh Ebtekar, Iran’s Vice President for Women and Family Affairs. In 1979, she was the spokeswoman for radical Islamic fundamentalists who invaded the American embassy in Tehran and took 52 American diplomats and citizens hostage for 444 days. On Tuesday, Iran’s Deputy Health Minister was quarantined due to infection. Several other Iranian parliamentarians have become infected as well.

Globally, the coronavirus has a fatality rate of between 2 and 3 percent. In Iran, if official figures are to be believed, more than 1 in 10 die from the disease. Clearly, Iranian officials are lying about the extent of the disease and its rapid spread throughout the country. The Islamic Republic has also been the source of dozens of cases outside Iran. Countries including Afghanistan, UAE, Lebanon, Bahrain, Iraq, Kuwait, Oman, Pakistan and even Canada, have all traced infected travelers to Iran.

  30. MUST READ… LIVE FROM HONG KONG: Two Months After Initial Reports of Coronavirus Only 93 Cases and 2 Deaths in Population of 8 Million in Hong Kong

The Hong Kong government and corporations reacted late to the coronavirus but when they did act, the actions were borderline extreme. More than a month later there are still questions. The overall damage of the virus is not nearly as severe as originally feared.

News of the coronavirus reached Hong Kong and the world in early January. Hong Kong citizens were curious at first and then almost hyper-reactive. The Wuhan coronavirus was a big unknown and still is.
