Rally organizer: ‘Specific threats’ against pro-gun speakers in Virginia
The group organizing today’s gun rally in Richmond, Virginia, has issued a last-minute alert warning of threats against its speakers.
“One of our members with access to police intelligence has advised us that specific threats have been uncovered to three of the speakers at the rally. Yet, just a few days ago, when specifically asked about any such threats, the Capitol Police denied knowing of any and have not shared any such information to date,” said the alert from the Virginia Citizens Defense League.

Virginia gun rights rally: Law-abiding citizens being mislabeled by media and politicians, and targeted by radical fringe
Americans have been holding peaceful gun rights rallies for years. Virginia hasn’t suddenly become chock-a-block with cretinous neo-Nazis aching to get their faces before the public (not to mention before the police force) for the sake of demonstrating for gun rights.
The original rallygoers are ordinary, law-abiding Virginians, who have no history in our lifetimes of the tinderbox-crowd volatility being suggested by the media.
The concept of gun rights is associated with those Virginians. It is not associated with the far Left, fascist-tactics group Antifa, which reportedly plans to rally “alongside” the mainstream, law-abiding Second Amendment supporters.
Nor is it associated with the neo-Nazis who have recently been arrested – some in connection with alleged plans to disrupt the rally with violence – in other states.

Agitator Tries to Make Virginia 2A Supporters Seem Like a Violent Mob, Fails Miserably
Before this 2nd Amendment rally in Virginia started, there was a rumor that agitators would be bussed into the area in order to pose as 2A supporters and cause trouble. One of the ways in which they planned to do that was to spout off things that would make the 2nd Amendment supporters seem violent and unstable.
While there wasn’t any confirmation that this was actually happening on that scale, it would appear that people are trying to make the 2A protest at the Virginia capitol seem like the dangerous group of people that the media has been trying to make it out to be.
However, it’s not working out so well for the plants.
As you can see from this video, one man attempts to ask another supporter very loudly whether or not he wants to “start a revolution” and jump the fence to kill “that guy,” presumably Virginia Governor Ralph Northam. The “revolution” part was agreed to by the protester, but upon hearing the violent suggestion, the protester went silent.
Once those words come out of his mouth about violence, the crowd immediately turns on the agitator.
The interviewer asked those around what they thought about what he said and they made it clear that violence is not what they’re about.

tried to revive his career
with a slate of “gun control” bills
that would do nothing to relieve
the atrocities they claim to address.
The Republican assembly
dismissed these in Special Session
after the Democrats
refused to consider crime or mental health.
Seeing an opportunity,
Billionaire Bloomberg bought the mid-term election
and the Democrats brought back all those bills, and more.
They changed the rules about guns
and falsely blamed the police.
But the NRA attracted 1000 gun owners
To lobby their legislators nonetheless;
and pieces of plastic
triggered the confiscationists.
Afraid that the VCDL rally
might dwarf the NRA event,
the Governor illegally deemed the Capitol grounds a “shelter”,
and used emergency powers he doesn’t have to ban guns.
He associated innocent rhetoric
with Charlottesville rhetoric,
and deemed a peaceful gathering,
not even a protest, but an “emergency”.
All the while he and his cronies
threatened confiscation, the National Guard, and the US Military.
He accused the VCDL of “unleashing”
something it could not control,
when in fact he unleashed
previously silent patriots
who put facts and rights
above emotions and tyranny.

Virginia welcomes all who come in peace to show the Virginia General Assembly that there is no place for Bloomberg’s and the Democrats’ anti-Constitutional infringement and confiscation agenda in Virginia, nor will its spread to other states be tolerated. Thousands of gun-rights activists on Monday flooded into Richmond, Va., for a day-long protest against gun-control legislation being pushed by Democrats in the 2020 Virginia General Assembly.
On Thursday, lawmakers in the state Senate passed an the first pair of bills in a wave of gun-control legislation that is set to come up for votes. One bill would restore the state’s previous one-handgun-a-month rule, while the second would allow local governments to ban guns in public buildings, parks and at permitted events — including political protests. The vote was straight party line, 21-19.
Gov. Ralph Northam has declared a temporary state of emergency, banning all weapons including guns from Capitol Square. He cited “credible and serious threats,” but did not elaborate. But elsewhere in the city, gun owners were seen on Monday with rifles slung over their shoulders and guns in holsters on their belts.
And despite Northam’s warning, the protest is peaceful. See updates below.
