Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

    “The replacement for killed Iranian General Qassem Soleimani has said the country should “be patient” for revenge.

    In one of the strongest statements to come out of the crisis so far, new Quds leader Ismail Qani said: “We tell everyone, be a little patient to see the dead bodies of Americans all over the Middle East.”

    The Iranian foreign minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif, added shortly after: “Targeting Soleimani was a very dangerous and foolish escalation.”

    Their words come as the US has sent an additional 3,000 troops to the region as tensions escalate.

    Some of the troops will be based in Iraq, and others will arrive in Kuwait and other parts of the region.

    However some military sources are quoted as saying this was a planned deployment, and not a reaction to Friday’s escalation.

    Meanwhile, it has also emerged that UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson was not informed of the plan to strike Soleimani, despite Republican senator Lindsey Graham saying he was informed of the plan on Monday.

    Mr Johnson has yet to respond to the situation, and Downing Street confirmed to LBC News earlier today he is still on his holiday on the tropical island of Mustique.

    T I believe the Iranian people will draw the obvious conclusion that this once powerful regime has feet of clay. Expect bigger anti-regime protests inside Iran in the coming weeks, and popular revolts against Iranian interference in Lebanon and Iraq as well.

    To me, the biggest question remains: is President Trump ready for the revolution he has unleashed? With this single act, the United States has set in motion big historical forces for positive change. Are we prepared to help the forces of freedom against tyranny and oppression?

    Put simply, the aura of the Iranian regime’s invincibility is over.

    • Richard: Starting in 1981 President Reagan stood up to the Soviet Union and started working on rolling back their conquests rather the try to keep them contained. At the end of that Decade the Soviet Union fell.

      In 2017 President Trump started standing up to China and the modern Chinese Empire starts showing signs of massive economic problems.

      Up until 2020 Trump showed massive restraint towards Iran, restrain that Iran took to be weakness an d continued to push until they killed an American citizen. After that he took our several Iranian bases and then he took our the head of the Quds Force along with the head of one of the Iraqi Shia militias and the head of one branch of Hezbollah.

      One of the intimidate results were people dancing in the street sin Iraq and Iran, now Kenneth Timmerman who is an expert on Iran is saying that we have unleashed a revolution in Iran that if supported will sweep the Islamic Republic (actually Islamic dictatorship) into the dust bin of history.

      Will a revolution start in Iran?

      If a revolution starts in Iran how will this affect the actions of Russia? China? Erdogan?

      For forty years, Western policymakers have been lying to themselves about the nature of the Iranian regime and basing their Iran policies on the lies they tell themselves. The main lie has been that there is an ongoing, existential struggle for power and control within the ranks of the regime’s leadership.
      Regime brutally repressed the countrywide protests last month.

      On the one hand, the fantasy goes, you have the “hardliners.” They are the ones behind all the terrorism. They are the ones working to develop nuclear weapons and the warheads to deliver them. They are the ones who call out “Death to America, Death to Israel.”

      Facing them are the “moderates.” If the moderates seize the reins, the Iranians will eschew terror. They will walk away from their nuclear program. And the aspiration for an Islamic global empire will become no more than a children’s fairytale.

      The conceptual framework for American and Western policy relating to Iran since the 1979 revolution has been that all you need to do to end the conflict with Iran and bring it back into the family of nations is to find the right mix of concessions to enable the moderates win their power struggle against the hardliners.

    Young Democrats, Women’s March help Islamists hide behind gift wrapping and holiday cheer.

    Giving gifts to underprivileged children is usually an act of benevolence and kindness. However, when Islamists and groups associated with terror are part of the gift giving process, opportunism not altruism is behind it and all of those involved should be investigated and shunned for their involvement. That was the case last month, when the Broward Young Democrats (BYD) and the Broward Chapter of the Women’s March co-hosted a holiday toy drive with the South Florida Muslim Federation (SFMF), an umbrella group for South Florida’s radical Muslim institutions.

    ‘UNITED FOR MIGRANTS TOY DRIVE’ was the title given to this shameful and cynical act of exploitation that took place at various South Florida venues, including two radical mosques. One of the mosques was Darul Uloom, a past haven for al-Qaeda operatives, including convicted ‘Dirty Bomber’ Jose Padilla, who was a student at the mosque, and now-deceased al-Qaeda commander, Adnan el-Shukrijumah, who was a prayer leader there. The founder and current imam of Darul Uloom, Shafayat Mohamed, was thrown off a number of county boards for his fiery rhetoric against homosexuals, including blaming gay sex for the 2004 Indonesian tsunami.

  5. The Alarming Escalation of African American Attacks Against Jews

    Are full-fledged riots and mass massacres next?

    Anti-Semitic attacks have reached epidemic proportions in the New York metropolitan area. A shooting early last December at a kosher supermarket in Jersey City left several people dead, including two Hasidic Jews. A policeman was also killed by the same shooters nearby. The killers aimed to kill as many Jews as possible before they were struck down. Last Saturday night, five Jewish people were stabbed by a Jew-hater wielding a machete at a Hasidic rabbi’s house in the suburb of Monsey, New York. One of the victims suffered serious head injuries, which has left him in a coma and may result in permanent damage to his brain. Orthodox Jews residing in the Brooklyn neighborhoods of Borough Park, Crown Heights and Williamsburg are living in constant fear, triggered by a slew of anti-Semitic incidents that were a near daily occurrence during December and have continued into 2020.

    These were not violent crimes committed by white nationalists. While white supremacists continue to pose a major threat to the lives and well-being of Jews and other minority groups nationwide, the alarming series of recent anti-Semitic attacks in the New York metropolitan area were conducted primarily by African Americans.

    Anti-Semitic propensities among some African Americans have been simmering for years, as documented by a survey conducted back in 2013 by the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) and a second survey conducted by the ADL in 2016. The 2016 survey noted that over the past four years, “Anti-Semitic views among the African American population have remained steady and are higher than the general population.” As compared to the white population, anti-Semitic propensities among African Americans as measured in 2016 were more than double that of whites – 23% versus 10% respectively. This survey also found that Hispanic Americans born outside of the U.S. have even higher anti-Semitic propensities (31%) than African Americans. The anti-Semitic propensities of U.S. born Hispanics were measured at 19%, higher than whites but lower than African Americans.

    “The US State Department announced its intention on Friday to designate Iraqi Shi’ite militia group Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq (AAH) as a foreign terrorist organization. Additionally, it also listed two of the group’s leaders as being “specially designated global terrorists.”

    The two leaders of the group were identified as brothers Qays and Laith al-Khazali. Designations of the group and the two leaders are being carried out under section 219 of the Immigration and Nationality Act and section 1(a)(ii)(A) of Executive Order (E.O.) 13224, as amended by E.O. 13886, respectively, according to the release.

    “AAH and its leaders are violent proxies of the Islamic Republic of Iran,” Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said in a statement issued within the announcement. “Acting on behalf of their masters in Tehran, they use violence and terror to further the Iranian regime’s efforts to undermine Iraqi sovereignty.”

    The designation will allow for the US to freeze all accounts and block off access to all properties tied to the group and its two leaders. The State Department further noted in its release that the move is in an effort to “deny AAH and its leadership the resources to plan and carry out terrorist attacks.”

    Designations against both Qays and Laith al-Khazali come nearly a month after the US Treasury Department sanctioned the pair for reportedly taking part in “opened fire on peaceful protests, killing dozens of innocent civilians.”

    The latest developments come just a day after the US initiated an airstrike that saw four missiles fired near Iraq’s Baghdad International Airport, and which targeted Qasem Soleimani, the head of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ Quds Force and prominent members of the Popular Mobilization Forces. The strike, claimed by the US hours later, was carried out in an effort to deter “Iranian attack plans,” according to a statement issued by the US Defense Department.

    The strike has been condemned by both Iran and Iraq.”

  10. Ghislaine Maxwell’s powerful contacts protecting her in safe houses

    Ghislaine Maxwell — the British socialite who’s long been accused of serving as Jeffrey Epstein’s madam — is hiding in a series of safe houses and is being “protected because of the information she has on the world’s most powerful people.”

    Maxwell, 58, allegedly procured young women and groomed them to have sex with Epstein and his wealthy pals, but she has remained out of public view after the convicted sex offender’s re-arrest last year and his death in jail in August. She has always denied any wrongdoing.

    On the heels of a Reuters report that Maxwell was the main focus of an investigation by the FBI into several “people who facilitated” the dead pedophile’s alleged sexual abuse, a source tells Page Six: “Ghislaine is protected. She and Jeffrey were assets of sorts for multiple foreign governments. They would trade information about the powerful people caught in his net — caught at Epstein’s house.”

    • IRAQ – Reports: 5 dead in airstrike on Iran-backed Iraqi militia convoy

      Less than 24 hours after President Trump ordered airstrikes that killed top Iranian general Qassem Soleimani, another airstrike has reportedly been carried out.

      Airstrikes struck a convoy of vehicles carrying Iran-back Iraqi militia leaders within the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) umbrella group, killing six and wounding three in Taji, just north of Baghdad, an Iraqi Army source told Reuters. An Iraqi source told the Associated Press that five were killed in the airstrike.

      Photos posted to social media show the burning wreckage of the convoy, although the airstrike, nor the images have been confirmed by U.S. officials.

      Al Mayadeen, a Lebanon-based Arab television network, as well as Al-Iraqiya TV, an Iraqi television network, are also reporting that drone strikes took out a convoy of two vehicles carrying the Iraqi militia leaders.

    • Sputnik – At Least Six Killed in Two-Car Convoy Targeted in US Airstrike North of Baghdad – Reports

      The development comes on the heels of the Friday morning US airstrike that killed Quds Force Commander Qasem Soleimani, sparking heightened tension across the Middle East and sending thousands of Iranians into the streets to mourn the death of the general and denounce the United States and Israel.

      A two-car convoy has been hit in a new airstrike in northern Baghdad, local media reported.

      The airstrike reportedly left six dead, according to Reuters, citing sources.

      Following the initial reports claiming that a targeted vehicle was carrying senior leaders, the Popular Mobilizations Forces (PMF) issued a statement, saying that “the strike targeted a convoy of Popular Mobilisation Forces medics”.

      PMF also refuted reports regarding death of several senior officials, including Shebl Al-Zaidi, Hamid Al-Jazaeri, Raed Al-Karawi.

      Previous reports had claimed that the targeted vehicles carried at least two senior Popular Mobilizations Forces (PMF) officials.

      While some reports suggested that the parties involved in the incident are unknown, others claimed that the US attacked a PMF convoy carrying the commander of the Kataib Imam Ali militia, Shbl al-Zaidi, and other yet-to-be-identified PMF leaders.

      Conflicting reports were emerging that al-Zaidi was not killed in the attack as he was reported to have been in Lebanon.

    “Islamic organizations say they are “thrilled” about nearly 40 state governors, including 17 Republicans, approving more refugee resettlement for their states thus far.

    For fiscal year 2020, President Donald Trump will continue cutting refugee admissions by reducing former President Barack Obama’s refugee inflow by at least 80 percent. This reduction would mean a maximum of 18,000 refugees can be resettled in the U.S. between October 1, 2019, and September 30, 2020. This is merely a numerical limit and not a goal federal officials are supposed to reach.

    Coupled with the refugee reduction, Trump signed an executive order that gives localities, counties, and states veto power over the resettlement of refugees in their communities.

    After Republican Gov. Larry Hogan announced that he would accept refugees in the state of Maryland, the Islamic Circle of North America Relief USA and the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) applauded the decision, saying in statements:

    “They are a great asset to Baltimore and to Maryland,” said Ibrahim Abusway, community development of Islamic Circle of North America Relief USA. [Emphasis added]

    “We are thrilled with this decision,” said Zainab Chaudry, director of CAIR Maryland outreach. [Emphasis added]

    CAIR has been declared a terrorist organization by the United Arab Emirates and was named by federal prosecutors as an unindicted co-conspirator in a Hamas-funding operation. CAIR has also repeatedly defended suspected terrorists.

    As Breitbart News reported, there are now 17 Republican governors who have approved more refugee resettlement in their states — including Tennessee’s Bill Lee, Iowa’s Kim Reynolds, Indiana’s Eric Holcomb, and South Dakota’s Kristi Noem.

    Refugee contractors have a vested interest in making sure as many refugees are resettled across the U.S. as possible because their annual federally funded budgets are contingent on the number of refugees they resettle. Those refugee contractors include:

    Church World Service (CWS), Ethiopian Community Development Council (ECDC), Episcopal Migration Ministries (EMM), Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society (HIAS), International Rescue Committee (IRC), U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI), Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Services (LIRS), U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB), and World Relief Corporation (WR).

    The federally mandated refugee resettlement program has brought more than 718,000 refugees to the U.S. since January 2008 — a group larger than the entire state population of Wyoming, which has 577,000 residents. In the last decade, about 73,000 refugees have been resettled in California, 71,500 resettled in Texas, nearly 43,000 resettled in New York, and more than 36,000 resettled in Michigan.

    Refugee resettlement costs American taxpayers nearly $9 billion every five years, according to the latest research. Over the course of five years, an estimated 16 percent of all refugees admitted will need housing assistance paid for by taxpayers.”
