This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

    A snapchatter with the username Wassabil 51 has published a video in which he calls people to come to a meeting point in the street Breitenstraße in Bad Hersfeld at 8 pm. “I’m releasing a rap video about my brothers in jail in Mallorca. Free Serhat, free Yakub, […] free Baram, free Azad,” he explains. The four men with German passports were suspected of having been involved in the rape of an 18-year-old woman on the island popular among Germans.The suspects deny the crime, speak of consensual sex. The snapchatter, who calls the suspects his brothers, seems to share a similar view. He calls the victim a “slut” and claims that everything is a lie. It is unclear exactly when the video of him that was spread on Twitter today was made.

    “At least 20 Afghan Armed Forces’ servicemen have been killed in an attack by Taliban militants in the northern province of Kunduz as heavy fighting continues to rage despite the intra-Afghan talks being held in Qatar, a local source said.

    “Last night, the Taliban stormed Afghan forces’ outposts in Imam Sahib District, killing 20 soldiers, with heavy fighting ongoing”, the source stated.

    The Taliban released a statement on social media confirming that the group had continued attacks on Afghan troops across the country, claiming high casualties among Afghan government forces.

    The Afghan government, for its part, has also released a statement claiming casualties for the Taliban.

    The news comes just a day after both sides issued a joint declaration following an intra-Afghan meeting in the Qatari capital of Doha, agreeing that efforts to de-escalate the conflict should be made to prevent civilian casualties.

    The meeting was brokered by Germany and Qatar and attended by Afghan politicians, civil society activists as well as representatives of the Taliban.”

    “The French state was ordered by an administrative court to pay compensation to the “beast of the Bataclan” Salah Abdeslam over the terrorist’s prison conditions.

    The Administrative Court of Versailles ruled in 2017 that the prison surveillance of the sole survivor of the 2015 Bataclan massacre had been unlawful, claiming the constant 24-hour video cameras in his cell were a violation of Abdeslam’s privacy, Le Figaro reports.

    The revelation comes in a new book released by French journalist Elsa Vigouroux, entitled The Journal of Frank Berton. Abdeslam is said not to have even discovered about the case until July of 2018, over a year after the ruling was made when Berton — a French lawyer who defended Abdeslam — asked for his bank details.

    Ordering the French state to pay Abdeslam 500 euros, which the extremist later rejected, the court agreed with Berton that a ministerial order to observe the Islamic extremist “disregards Articles 34 and 37 of the Constitution, which have divided the respective powers of the legislative power and the regulatory power”.

    Berton had previously made the claims in June 2016, stating that the 24-hour surveillance was “a serious misunderstanding of the right to respect for private life”, but his claims were rejected by the Administrative Court and the Council of State later that year.

    Conservative politician Nicholas Dupont-Aignan commented on the compensation saying the ruling had been “shameful”.

    Abdeslam survived the 2015 massacre which led to the deaths of 130 people in November 2015 but was captured months later in the heavily-migrant populated Brussels suburb of Molenbeek.

    Last year, Abdeslam was found guilty of attempted murder in relation to his capture and sentenced to 20 years in prison.

    Several months later, it was revealed that he routinely threatened and insulted prison workers at the Fleury-Mérogis prison, labelling guards as “infidels” and “dogs”.

    Neighbouring Belgium has also been forced to compensate radical Islamist prisoners according to a report from earlier this year which involved complaints about segregated prison wings for radical Islamists.”

    “Turkey’s state-run news agency says prosecutors have issued warrants for the detention of 176 serving military officers over suspected links to the U.S.-based Muslim cleric who is blamed by Ankara for a failed coup attempt in 2016.

    Anadolu Agency says the warrants were issued Tuesday against a colonel, two lieutenant colonels, five majors, seven captains, 118 lieutenants and 43 sergeants for alleged links to cleric Fethullah Gulen’s network. The officers are from the army, the air force, the navy and the coast guard, the report said.

    Anadolu says police were ordered to conduct simultaneous raids to detain the suspects.

    Some 77,000 people have been arrested and around 130,000 others have been dismissed from state jobs since the coup. Gulen denies involvement in the attempt.”

    And that they have taken of even their see-through fig leaf tells me, (and obviously Tommy Robinson too) that, should his children have a father while they grow up (and his wife a husband) then he has to flee the rotten UK, within the next 2 days.

    • I pray he can get refugee status, the way I understand the current law all he has to do is apply for the refugee status ans swear that he has a realistic fear for his life or the lives of his family. I don’t know if he can do this at the embassy or if it has to be at a port of entry in the US. If he does get refugee status the question is will Britain let him and his family leave the embassy to fly to the US?

    “A 37-year-old man has shocked guests on one of Rimini’s beaches after he started pleasuring himself in public, all the while clenching a knife in his hand. When the police arrived, the man was reportedly surrounded by an infuriated crowd. He turned his rage against the police and reportedly threatened them: “I will kill you… I’m an Arab man!”

    Italian police have arrested 37-year-old Egyptian Ahmed Mohamed Walid Abdelshafi who scared beachgoers in one of Italy’s most famous resort towns, Rimini, the local outlets AdnKronos and Il Messaggero report. He was charged with public indecency as well as resisting law enforcement and serious threats to public officials.

    It was a Russian woman spending time on one of the beaches with her son and three other children, who informed a local bar owner about a scary stranger, who sat next to her family and started masturbating, all while panting and holding a knife in his fist. The lifeguard and beach staffers rushed to the scene close to a playground, where the man had been spotted. He was surrounded by angry parents, who reportedly argued and even pushed around the suspected offender before the police arrived. Law enforcement personnel are said to have saved him from being lynched, the local media suggest.

    After he was brought to the police station, Abdelshafi reportedly pushed and tugged one of the officers before he was tackled to the ground. It was discovered that he also had hematomas and scratches that are said to have been inflicted during the earlier altercation. The suspect was taken to a hospital, where he was diagnosed with a right rib fracture.

    While he was there, the man allegedly threatened the radiology technicians and shouted at them “I’ll kill you”, mimicking the gesture of putting a knife to his throat.

    “I know a lot of people, I will send people who kill you and your families to your houses. When I go out I kill you with a knife, I’m an Arab man”, he cried, grabbing a metal pole and trying to hit people with it.

    He is also said to have threatened the policemen, promising to accuse them of inflicting bodily harm: “Tomorrow in court I will tell the judge that you broke my rib, so you will pay me”.”

    Michel Kunz, President of the Badmeister Association, said that the level of abuse, particularly towards female lifeguards, has increased saying in comments reported by 20 Minutes: “I have already experienced a lot, but what is currently happening in Swiss swimming pools is no longer sustainable.”

    According to Mr Kunz, swimming pools in Switzerland have become places where “cultural differences clash. This is because some believe that women have nothing to say and become aggressive towards our employees.”

    “Unfortunately we find that those bathers who are out of favour with women are often young people and men with a migrant background. They are not used to women giving instructions,” he added.

    Vice-president of the Swiss Badmeister Association Sibylle Rykart added that she had been the victim of attacks including threats and had been spat on. “It did not exist before. This disrespect is a sign of the times,” she noted.

    Lifeguard Alexandra Bürgi described her own encounters with migrant-background men, saying she had to flee her pool and call police after a group of four young men threatened her.

    “Our problem as lifeguards is men, especially with a different cultural background. Most are between 18 and 22 years old. But it starts with 10-year-olds,” she said.

    Neighbouring Germany has also seen troubles with migrant-background men and their behaviour at swimming pools. Last week in the town of Kehl, the local pool was forced to close early after a group of 50 North African-background men terrorised other bathers.

    Even more serious has been the number of sexual assaults committed by migrants in swimming pools, especially those involving children as victims.

    Less than a year after the height of the 2015 migrant crisis, German police reported a massive spike in the rape and sexual abuse of children at swimming pools.”

    Aramco said in a statement on Tuesday it had awarded 34 contracts for engineering, procurement and construction at the Majran and Berri offshore fields to expand crude oil production by 550,000 barrels per day and gas by 2.5 billion standard cubic feet per day.

    Aramco says 16 local and international companies were chosen out of 90 invited to bid on the packages. Saudi companies were granted half of the awarded contracts.

    Contractors working on the projects will be required to maximize their purchases of material and equipment from Saudi suppliers and manufacturers. Aramco says the projects are also expected to create thousands of local jobs.”

Specifically, New Zealand’s government—which also stepped up censorship and domestic surveillance after bloody attacks on two Christchurch mosques earlier this year—is running into stiff resistance to new gun rules from firearms owners who are slow to surrender now-prohibited weapons and will probably never turn them in.

    Officials should have seen it coming.

    “Police are anticipating a number of people with banned firearms in their possession won’t surrender them,” Stuff reported at the end of May, based on internal government documents.

    As of last week, only around 700 weapons had been turned over. There are an estimated 1.5 million guns—with an unknown number subject to the new prohibition on semiautomatic firearms—in the country overall.

      he media is very eager to talk about Acosta. It seems much less interested in bringing up the name of the guy who gave Jeffrey Epstein a pass.

      There were really just two people willing to risk their careers to go after Epstein: Palm Beach Police Chief Michael Reiter and Detective Joseph Recarey.

      In their first on-the-record media interviews about the case, Reiter and Recarey revealed new details about the investigation, and how they were, in their view, pressured by then-Palm Beach State Attorney Barry Krischer to downgrade the case to a misdemeanor or drop it altogether.

      Krischer and the lead state prosecutor on the case, Assistant State Attorney Lanna Belohlavek, began to dodge Recarey and Reiter’s phone calls and emails, and they dragged their feet on approving subpoenas, Reiter and Recarey said.

      “Early on, it became clear that things had changed, from Krischer saying, ‘we’ll put this guy away for life,’ to ‘these are all the reasons why we aren’t going to prosecute this,’ ’’ Reiter said.

      Krischer, who is now retired and in private practice, did not respond to multiple requests from the Herald for comment. Belohlavek also did not respond to an email sent to her office.

      “It became apparent to me that some of our evidence was being leaked to Epstein’s lawyers, who began to question everything that we had in our probable cause affidavit,’’ Reiter said.

      In May 2006, Recarey drew up probable cause affidavits, charging Epstein, two of his assistants and one recruiter with sex-related crimes. Instead, Krischer took what Recarey said was the unusual step of referring the case to a state grand jury. Epstein was indicted in state court on a minor charge of solicitation of prostitution.

      Recarey said Krischer told him he didn’t believe Epstein’s accusers, and only two of them were called before the state grand jury investigating the case — even though police had lined up more than a dozen girls and witnesses at that time.

      Believing that the case had been tainted, Reiter — that same month, May 2006 — took a very public stance against Krischer, writing a letter, which was released to the news media, calling on Krischer to remove himself from the case. The chief then referred it to the FBI, which opened its own investigation in July 2006, FBI records show.

      In a written, public statement on March 20, 2011, Acosta asserted that the deal he struck with Epstein’s lawyers was harsher than it would have been had the case remained with the state prosecutor, Krischer, who favored charging Epstein with only a misdemeanor prostitution violation.

      Acosta also described what he called a “year-long assault’’ on prosecutors by Epstein’s “army of legal superstars’’ who, he said, investigated individual prosecutors and their families, looking for “personal peccadilloes’’ to disqualify them from Epstein’s case.

      Jeffrey Epstein, the sexual predator and Clinton Global Initiative founder, is back in the news after another arrest. And Bill Clinton issued a statement claiming not to know anything about anything.

      Bill Clinton “knows nothing” about the “terrible crimes” linked to Jeffrey Epstein, the former president’s spokesman said Monday, in Clinton’s first statement after new sex-trafficking charges were lobbed against the wealthy financier.

      An indictment alleging sex trafficking and sex trafficking conspiracy was unsealed Monday morning against Epstein, the wealthy and politically connected financier who pleaded not guilty during his initial appearance in a New York City federal court. Prosecutors alleged that Epstein, the 66-year-old wealthy hedge fund manager arrested on Saturday, preyed on “dozens” of victims as young as 14.

      Then there are the alleged photos of underage girls. But don’t ask Bill about them.

  32. There’s a good chance Biden was right: Well-worn narrative of ‘Russian interference’ didn’t happen on his watch

    Even Trump supporters have become wedded over time to the baseline narrative of “Russian interference in the 2016 election.” Try to suggest, in the last few days, that Joe Biden may ironically have been correct in his hapless claim that the interference outlined in that narrative didn’t happen on his watch, and Trump’s strongest supporters have been some of the loudest voices insisting on the interference.

    Which, if it happened as described, certainly happened on Biden’s watch, and Obama’s.

    But the overall story has never made sense, and a new report by Aaron Maté at Real Clear Investigations reminds us that the evidence for it — as the predicate for the “Russia-Trump investigation” — has always been thin and pocked with unfilled holes. (Maté does not conclude that it didn’t happen; only that the evidence that it did is still inconclusive.)

    That includes the evidence as presented in the Mueller report. We have become so accustomed to considering the election interference narrative as a given that few now take the trouble to question it. But all the same questions remain, and there has not been a satisfactory, conclusive answer to any of them.

    Richard: She is right, if as we have been saying since 2016 there was no collusion between Trump and Russia then Biden may be right that there was no Russian interference on his watch. Although technically this would mean that the supposed Russian bots on the Social Media weren’t Russian. Given the bias of the Social Media Platform there is some doubt about how many of the deleted accounts were bots and were Russian if they were bots.

    All of the information we have available says that Russia thought Hillary would win and really wanted her to win because she takes bribes to perform actions in favor of our enemies. They probably wanted her to win but to be damaged enough to lower the price they would have to pay for every action they wanted her to do. They sure didn’t want Trump in there putting sanctions on Russia and keeping the sanctions in place.

    “In the undated video, the apparent victim is also forced to dance for his tormentors’ pleasure and kiss the gun.

    In a video that recently emerged online, a young man, identified as a Swedish national, is allegedly attacked and humiliated by a gang of immigrants, the news outlet Samhällsnytt has reported.

    The footage shows the apparent assailants, who speak with a thick accent, intimidate the young man by forcing a gun into his mouth.

    The victim is also forced to perform a dance for the tormentors and made to kiss the gun, which they refer to by a Turkish-derived slang word (Swedish “tabbe”, from Turkish “tabanca”).

    The undated footage was later deleted from YouTube, but is still available on Vimeo. At the moment of writing, it is yet unclear when the alleged humiliation occurred and under what circumstances.

    Nevertheless, the video stirred strong reactions on social media, inciting a debate on its authenticity. While some argued that it’s “12-year-olds fooling around”, others warned that the situation is serious and could possibly traumatise the victim for life.

    On Flashback, one of Sweden’s most popular forums, many argued that the scene was “the new normal” for Sweden in 2019 and suggested that it was a harbinger for sinister things to come.

    “The future seems bright. It will pay off in the long run”, a Facebook user commented wryly.

    “A foul deed that should have been classified as a hate crime. It purely screams racism. Regardless of how clear it is, some groups get away with just about anything”, another one noted.

    “The youngsters’ voices are still cracking, and they are already running around with weapons and terrorising the Swedish people. The future seems promising”, a Twitter user suggested.

    During the pan-European migrant crisis, Sweden, a nation of 10 million, emerged as one of the most generous nations, taking in 163,000 asylum seekers, mostly from Islamic non-Western nations.

    While independent studies have suggested a drastic over-representation of migrants in, among others things, rape and violent crime, Sweden does not collect statistical data on the ethnic background of criminals and therefore denies any connection. The most recent mapping of migrant crime was carried out in 2005, long before the migration crisis, whereupon this practice was put on ice, as suggesting a connection between criminal activity and a person’s ethnicity or race was considered unethical.”

The Earth Charter was initiated by Mikhail Gorbachev, former leader of the Soviet Union, and Maurice Strong, head of the UN’s Rio Sustainable Development Summit and Chairman of the Earth Council. The Earth Charter commands global governance as defined by the United Nations Commission on Global Governance (1995) and other UN commissions. “In order to build a sustainable global community, the nations of the world must renew their commitment to the United Nations, fulfill their obligations under existing international agreements, and support the implementation of Earth Charter principles with an international legally binding instrument on environment and development.” Pope Francis spoke of the need for secular powers to establish global control over areas including finance under the pretext of environmental disaster: “We are living in a time of crisis; we see it in the environment, but above all we see it in men and women.     “A Syrian refugee living in Germany complained on social media about not being able to go on holiday to Syria because he had “something important” to do.

    Syrian asylum seeker Aras Bacho, who has previously written for several publications including HuffPost, said he knew at least six Syrians who had travelled from Germany to Syria on holiday.

    “Two weeks ago, six Syrians I know went on holiday to Syria to visit their family members and have some peace, especially from Germany. You miss your homeland and it is now everyday life that Syrians do this!” he wrote.

    Bacho then complained that he was not able to go on holiday as well saying: “Unfortunately, I was unable to go on holiday to Syria because something very important got in the way, and I hope to catch up very soon during the holidays. Germany is stressful and you need some kind of break.”

    So-called refugees travelling back to their country of origin for a holiday is not a new trend. As early as 2016, reports from Germany revealed that asylum seekers from Syria, Afghanistan, and Lebanon were using German taxpayer cash to fund holidays in their home countries.

    Germany is not the only country to see asylum seekers take a holiday in the country they allegedly fled.

    In Switzerland, migrants were also found to be using taxpayers’ money to pay for holidays in their homelands including Eritreans whose country is deemed so dangerous, the Swiss government refuses to deport migrants there.

    The controversial comments are nothing new for Mr Bacho, either. In 2016, nearly a year after the Cologne New Year’s Eve sex attacks, Bacho blamed such attacks on women saying that they should not be alone at night.

    “Most of the time the women are to blame. To be alone at night. On the other hand, the refugees should behave,” he said.

    Earlier that same year, Bacho caused controversy when he demanded that Europe start posting signs and product labels in Arabic to help new migrants.

    “I, as a refugee, think that inscriptions on street signs in Europe should be translated into Arabic. Equally, food packaging should be in Arabic. It should also be possible to take tests in Arabic,” he said.”

    The Tuesday report said armed members of the Kurdistan Democratic Party also wounded a Guard member after they opened fire on a Guard vehicle in an ambush in a village near the Iran-Iraq border town of Piranshahr, some 700 kilometers (450 miles) west of the capital Tehran.

    It said authorities are investigating the shooting.

    The area has seen occasional fighting between Iranian forces and Kurdish separatists as well as militants linked to the extremist Islamic State group. Earlier this month, two Guard members were killed in a shootout in which two gunmen were also killed.

    “The gang rape of an 18-year-old woman in Germany has sparked a dispute about lowering the age of criminal responsibility.

    Two of the suspects in the western city of Mülheim are aged 12 and the other three are 14. Germany does not prosecute children under 14.

    All five have been suspended from school and so far one 14-year-old has appeared before an investigating judge.

    The victim, found in bushes late on Friday, was taken to hospital.

    A police spokesman said the assault involved “considerable violence” and went on for a long time.

    The head of the police force union, Rainer Wendt, said “for years we’ve been demanding that the age of criminal responsibility be lowered in Germany”.

    However, Jens Gnisa, head of the German Association of Judges, argued that “the equation ‘more punishment equals less criminality’ does not work with youths”. He said the educational rules established in German law were working well to tackle juvenile crime.

    The Mülheim rape case, in Germany’s industrial Ruhr region, requires action by the Youth Welfare Office to address the suspects’ behavioural issues, a senior Child Protection Agency official said…”

    EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: Russia has emerged as Saudi Arabia’s and the UAE’s silent partner in assisting the Sudanese military’s efforts to weaken, if not defeat, a months-long popular revolt that has already toppled president Omar Bashir.

    Documents leaked to The Guardian and MHK Media, a Russian-language news website, by the London-based Dossier Centre, an investigative group funded by exiled Russian businessman Mikhail Khodorkovsky, have disclosed Russia’s hitherto behind-the-scenes role in Sudan.

    Laying out plans to bolster Russia’s position across Africa by building relations with rulers, striking military deals, and grooming a new generation of leaders and undercover agents, the documents included details of a campaign to smear anti-government protesters in Sudan.

    The plan for the campaign appeared to have been copy-pasted from proposals to counter opposition in Russia to President Vladimir Putin with references to Russia mistakenly not having been replaced with Sudan in one document.

    Russia advised the Sudanese military to use fake news and videos to portray demonstrators as anti-Islamic, pro-Israeli and pro-LGBT. The plan also suggested increasing the price of newsprint to make it harder for critics to get their message out and to discover “foreigners” at anti-government rallies.

    Yevgeny Prigozhin, a St. Petersburg-based businessman and close associate of Putin, complained in a letter to Bashir before he was overthrown that the president was not following his advice.

    As Iran intensifies its efforts to establish a global terror network, new evidence has emerged that highlights the regime’s attempts to establish a terrorist infrastructure in Africa.

    Western security officials claim the Iranian initiative in Africa has been launched in response to the Trump administration’s decision to withdraw from the controversial nuclear deal signed between Tehran and the world’s leading powers in 2015.

    The objective of the African-based terror network, Western security officials say, is to establish a group of so-called “sleeper cells” that can be activated to attack Western targets if tensions between Iran and the West result in a serious escalation in hostilities. US, British, French and other Western bases in the region are the most likely targets for future terrorist attacks, and a number of Western governments are understood to have responded by ordering their military and diplomatic missions in the region to upgrade security arrangements.
