Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

I’m tweeting on a Christian account for Christians. If I look at an account that I find offensive, I’m going to be offended by it.   7. CHILDREN NOT IN SCHOOL CONSULTATION GUIDE
    THE GOVERNMENT ARE CONSULTING ON NEW REGULATIONS FOR EDUCATION OUTSIDE OF SCHOOL SETTINGS
    In April 2019 the Government published a consultation entitled Children not in School. It proposes new legislation around home education and out-of-school education settings. Some years ago, when the Government was consulting on registering and inspecting out-of-school settings via Ofsted, the Alliance, alongside MPs, other faith and civil society groups raised objections to these proposals. These proposals could have regulated Sunday schools and church services, on vaguely-defined grounds such as ?“undesirable teaching”. We considered these proposals disproportionate, and unable to add significantly to the existing powers of statutory agencies. The Government pledged last year not to proceed with these proposals. However, this consultation appears to re-introduce certain aspects of the proposals in a new form. It proposes to create a legal obligation upon ?‘proprietors’ of ?‘settings’ to take, maintain and store registers of attendance at a ?‘setting’ for state inspection upon request, with potential legal sanctions for failure to do so. This obligation on ?‘settings;’ is very broad. It could lead to the requirement for ?‘settings’ to keep and maintain registers, on the grounds that home-educated children may attend them, which could have a major impact on churches, faith-based organisations, families and wider civil society. To make sure that the Government’s proposals are proportionate, we encourage you to respond to section 3 (questions 43?–?53) of this consultation, which covers obligations on such settings. Another reason they dislike him is that he is a Christian who is trying to position himself as the protector of the faith.     Donald Trump has been called the most anti-LGBT president in our history. Yet he just became the first Republican president to celebrate LGBT pride month, also calling for the decriminalization of homosexuality worldwide. Does this indicate a shift in perspectives? In an article for the Daily Beast, he claimed, “President Trump’s Anti-LGBT Agenda Is Louder Than His Pride Message.” Put another way, Trump’s opposition to LGBT activism does not appear to spring from a biblical worldview as much as from a desire to support evangelical causes and protect religious liberties. And his policies certainly do not spring from personal animosity toward LGBT individuals.     “Amira”, the “ambitious, responsible, hard-working” and seemingly well-integrated Muslim woman from the The Liberal Youth’s ad, has turned out to be Klara, who doesn’t wear the Islamic veil and is not even a Muslim.

    The Liberal Youth (VU), the junior wing of Denmark’s ruling Venstre party, have sparked criticism with their recent election ad that highlights Muslims’ successful integration into Danish society.

    The ad, which sparked a lot of controversy, features “Amira” a free and seemingly well-integrated Muslim woman, who is shown jogging, bathing, studying, enjoying a romantic relationship and finally removing her hijab. “Amira” is described as “ambitious, responsible and hard-working”. As VU themselves put it, she “wants Denmark”.

    The only problem is that “Amira” doesn’t exist and is a fake persona. The fictitious “Amira” is in fact played by Klara-Maria Rønnebro, a Danish actress, who has never been Muslim.

    “Of course, one must take into account that it is an ad. I’m an actress. Everything is staged,” 22-year-old Klare-Maria Rønnebro told the daily newspaper Berlingske.

    “Meet Klara. She is not a Muslim and does not wear a headscarf,” a user said, mocking the Liberal Youth’s “message of diversity”.

    “Next week we shall present her sister Fatah Morgana,” another user quipped.

    “VU has effectively proven that the integration of devout Muslims is impossible. Thanks for the effort, VU!” a user named Curiositorious tweeted.

    “So what do you say, VU? Impossible to find a truly liberal Muslim, huh?” another user scoffed.

    While many assumed that the type VU conjured didn’t exist in real life, Liberal Youth chairman Jakob Sabroe insisted that examples of well-integrated Danish Muslims are indeed numerous. According to him, an actress was preferred to a real person for fear of retaliation, as strict interpretation of Islam doesn’t allow women to take off the headscarf as they please, let alone being filmed naked.

    “If we had found a person from the Muslim environment, we would fear the consequences it could have for her,” Sabroe told Radio24syv.

    According to Sabroe, the video was intended to “piss off people in both camps”, from sympathisers of hardline Islam to Danish nationalists.

    Venstre is a major Danish liberal-conservative party that has produced many prime ministers, including former NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen. In the 2015 general election, it garnered 19.5 percent of the vote, forming a coalition government.

    Islam in Denmark is the country’s largest minority religion. According to a 2018 estimate, over 300.000 people or 5.3 percent of the Danish population are Muslim.”

    “According to the Danish newspaper BT, a Somali is 3.6 times more likely to commit violent crime compared with a Danish man of the same age and income.

    Criminal immigrants pose a major problem in Denmark, Justice Minister Søren Pape Poulsen admitted, after the newspaper BT took a deep look into crime rates and provided insights.

    In a major review of immigrant crime, BT reviewed verdicts for crimes involving murder and attempted murder as well as violent crime and robbery.

    Between January 2014 and November 2018, Somalis topped Danish crime statistics with 1,111 convictions, followed by Iraqis and Turks.

    According to BT, it is 3.6 times more common for a Somali to be sentenced for violent crime than for a Danish man of the same age with the same income.

    Danish politicians didn’t attempt to sugar-coat the problem.

    “Your review clearly shows that there is a big problem with criminal migrants whom we shouldn’t have in our society”, Justice Minister Søren Pape Poulsen of the Conservative Party told BT. According to him, this is why the government has been implementing legislative changes to facilitate the expulsion of criminal migrants.

    Danish People’s Party legal rapporteur and newly elected MEP Peter Kofod, was also upset, calling the statistics “insane”.

    “These are pretty wild numbers, those that BT has uncovered. They support what we, the Danish People’s Party, have been pointing out for years, that we in Denmark have a challenge with immigration from a number of countries in Africa and the Middle East,” Kofod said.

    Kofod didn’t miss the opportunity to promote his right-wing party’s immigration agenda.

    “It’s tragic, and we have to respond to that. We must do this by sending people back home and not taking new ones in. It must be the lesson after too many years when Denmark and the rest of Western Europe have had too much of immigration from certain areas,” Kofod added.

    The Danish Social Liberal Party also believes that foreign felons must leave Denmark. Their legal rapporteur Lotte Rod called it “terrible” that such crimes are committed in Denmark.

    “The problem, however, is that there are countries, to which we cannot deport people. This applies, for instance, to Somalia and Syria,” Rod stressed.

    As of 2019, close to 800,000 of Denmark’s population of 5.8 million (over 13 percent) were immigrants and their descendants. Of them, 500,000 were non-Western immigrants, Statistics Denmark reported.

    In recent years, both the centre-right government parties and even some of the opposition parties, such as the Social Democrats, have significantly toughened their immigration rhetoric, with the Danish People’s Party going so far as proposing a temporary full asylum stop.”

    “TERROR group ISIS claimed responsibility for a devastating attack that left 13 dead in the Ebola-ravaged Democratic Republic of Congo.

    The Syria-based organisation issued a chilling warning as it alleged to have been responsible for the overnight massacre in the eastern area of Beni. Local reports however differ from the account given by ISIS. The deputy mayor of Beni said 13 lives were lost late on Monday in an attack by the Allied Democratic Forces.

    The ADF has ties with ISIS.

    In a statement on the messaging website Telegram, Islamic State said it was behind the attack.

    It said it had targeted the Congolese army in Beni, killing or wounding 25 people.

    Mayor of Beni Modeste Bakwanamaha added: ”The victims were killed by bullets and others by bladed weapons.”

    He believes that the horror attack was likely a response from the country’s army that killed 26 ADF members following assaults on an army post in nearby Ngite.

    The country is currently in the midst of its worst Ebola outbreak.

    • VOA – Congo Forces Kill Dozens of Rebels Linked to IS in Ebola Zone Shootout

      Congolese forces have killed 26 rebels in the Democratic Republic of Congo’s east Ebola zone.

      Thought to be linked to the Islamic State group, the army said it shot dead the insurgents while repelling an attack on a village near the city of Beni.

      The area is the epicenter of Congo’s worst ever Ebola epidemic, which has killed close to 1,300 people since last August.

      Local residents gathered to watch the bodies of rebels from the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) be taken away.

      The ADF, originally a Ugandan Salafist-inspired extremist group, has been operating along the Congo-Uganda border for more than two decades.

      While it’s never claimed allegiance to Islamic State, witnesses said the group carried out an attack in a nearby town last month, which was then claimed by Islamic State.

    According to a report from the Jerusalem Post last year, Hezbollah has around 950 activists raising money for them in Germany with the Bremen-based Al-Mustafa-Community Center using a Bremen bank to allegedly help transfer cash to the terror group in Lebanon…”

    It is the second such repatriation from Syria. Earlier this year, an American woman and four children were returned to the U.S.

    The Swedish government intends to stop the future establishment of private charter schools, as a means of indicating that it is a secular state.

    As a result of a consensus between the ruling left-of-the-centre red-green coalition and its junior support parties, the Centre and the Liberals, an investigation on the confessional elements in the educational system is now in progress. The assignment of special investigator Lars Arrhenius is to submit proposals for a total stop to the establishment of new primary and secondary schools which have a religious undertone.

    “In recent years, we have seen examples of schools that, in the name of religion, separate girls and boys, barely teach about sex or cohabitation, and equate evolution with religious creationism myths. This is totally unacceptable. Now the government is taking the first steps towards stopping new religious schools,” Social Democrat Education Minister Anna Ekström said in a statement.

    According to her, the possibility of starting new charter schools with a confessional orientation may ultimately be removed. Existing religious schools shall remain, but may have to revise their regulations.

    “In a Swedish school, each student must be free to shape their own perception and future. Not a single child should be forced to participate in confessional elements or denied teaching about, for example, evolutionary doctrine or sex and cohabitation. It is a question of defending the very foundation of the school, that the main emphasis shall be placed on knowledge and education, not religious education,” Anna Ekström explained.

    In an interview with the Christian newspaper Dagen, Ekström suggested that religious charter schools were “bad for society” and that stopping them was a matter of integration.

    However, there may be one notable exception. Jewish schools are to be exempted from the ban, fellow Social Democrat Civilian Minister Ardalan Shekarabi assured following the criticism from the Jewish Central Council.

    “There are special rules for the minorities we have in Sweden. The Jewish minority is protected in that legislation and this means that they will be able to maintain their structure with special training,” Shekarabi was quoted as saying by Aftonbladet daily.

    Columnist Ivar Arpi noted that virtually all arguments that are raised against confessional schools refer to Muslim schools and not Christian or Jewish ones.

    “If everyone knows which schools are considered to inhibit the integration of immigrants, why not say it out straight? How about a little honesty?” Arpi wrote in his column in Svenska Dagbladet called “Christian schools punished for no reason.”

    The school report must be finished no later than 19 December 2019.

    At present, Sweden has some 70 schools that claim to have at least some confessional elements most of them are Christian or Muslim.

    A 2017 Pew Research Center report found that 59.9 percent of Swedes self-identified as Christians, with 48.7 percent belonging to the Church of Sweden, and the majority of the rest being unaffiliated Christians.

    The number of Muslims has been estimated at over 8 percent of Sweden’s population of 10 million.

    By contrast, the Jewish diaspora numbers only 20,000. Of those, about 7,000 are members of a congregation.”

    WASHINGTON, June 4 (Reuters) – A U.S. Navy surveillance aircraft in international airspace over the Mediterranean Sea was intercepted three times by a Russian jet fighter over three hours on Tuesday, including a high-speed pass that was deemed unsafe and put the plane at risk, the U.S. Sixth Fleet said.

    “While the Russian aircraft was operating in international airspace, this interaction was irresponsible,” the Sixth Fleet said in a statement.

    “We expect them to behave within international standards set to ensure safety and prevent incidents,” it said.

    The Sixth Fleet said the first and third intercepts of the P-8A Poseidon were deemed to be safe but the second intercept involved a high-speed pass directly in front of the U.S. aircraft that produced wake turbulence and “put our pilots and crew at risk.”

    The deputy mayor of Beni in the eastern Democratic of Congo said 13 civilians were killed late on Monday in an attack by the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) – a group thought to be linked to Islamic State.

    “The victims were killed by bullets and others by bladed weapons,” Mayor Modeste Bakwanamaha told Reuters.

    In a statement on the messaging website Telegram, Islamic State said it was behind the attack. It said it had targeted the Congolese army in Beni, killing or wounding 25 people.

    Since Monday, drivers in the western state of Lara can buy only 30 liters (eight gallons) of fuel a week, while a rationing system based on vehicles’ license plates has been introduced in Bolivar state in the south and Monagas in the west.

    Fuel shortages have long been chronic in the smuggling-prone states close to the border with Colombia. But the situation worsened in recent weeks as the United States slapped more economic sanctions on Venezuela and its state-run petrol company PDVSA.

    Lopez had been waiting in line to fill her tank for six hours in Lara’s capital Barquisimeto, but had to leave without getting any fuel because she had to go search for medicine for her ailing brother, who suffers from meningitis.

    According to the search warrant, Smethurst is accused of “publishing information classified as an official secret.” Police are claiming she put national security at risk when she revealed details about a plan to allow the government to collect private data about Australian citizens without a warrant.

    Clashes broke out between Indian security forces and demonstrators after the Eid al-Fitr prayers in Indian Administered Jammu and Kashmir’s Srinagar city on Wednesday.

    Demonstrators were reportedly protesting against the recent killing of rebels and civilians, as the gathering turned violent.

    Indian security forces fired pellet guns to disperse the protesters, as the latter were throwing projectiles.

    A few weeks ago Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez made one of her inane videos.

    This one was about her amazement in finding a garbage disposal in a kitchen sink.

    As I watched and listened to her, something sinister struck a chord within me.

    One word grabbed my attention. So, on a whim I typed it into the ole’ Googler and, lo and behold, there it was: The word was “bougie” (pronounced boo’-she) and she used it to refer to her condominium as a “bougie pad.”

    ‘Turns out the term is a sinister dog whistle to her gulag-archipelago-loving base.

    Bougie is modern urban slang for bourgeoisie, aka the great upwardly mobile middle class – those whom communists treat with disdain while they are forced to tolerate them, and with totalitarian oppression once they gain enough power to take the gloves off.

    The way she used the word, and how it spilled trippingly off her tongue, is a clear window into the true philosophy and intentions of AOC and, more importantly, her handlers and supporters.

    Unlike the “Democratic Socialist” veneer she loves to front, Cortez is actually a true communist and intends to unleash authentic vile communism on whomever may eventually be unfortunate enough to wind up as her subjects.
