Daily Links Post graphic

Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We muse use it while we can.

    • DAILY MAIL – Our Lady in ruins: First daylight photos reveal devastating aftermath of Notre Dame inferno as investigation begins into vast blaze believed to have been sparked by ‘a stray flame’

The fire was first reported at 6.50pm local time on Monday and the building was evacuated soon afterwards
Firefighters battled for hours to try and stop the blaze amid fears the entire structure could be toppled
Dramatic footage showed a centuries-old spire crumbling after being severely damaged by the inferno
Late on Monday evening fire chiefs said the fire had eventually been stopped and the main structure saved

[…]The Paris prosecutors’ office said police will carry out an investigation into ‘involuntary destruction caused by fire’, indicating authorities are currently treating the blaze as a tragic accident, and not arson or terrorism.

    • The poison of Subjectivism has been consumed in no greater quantity than our demi-gods Trudeau and Freeland. Even Soros admitted to possessing god-like delusions, though he conveniently omitted the word “delusion”.

  4. Is this a false flag to pre-flag a false flag? Is Dear Leader prepositioning for a Dystopia coup by pre-blaming his loss in the upcoming federal election on Russian interference? Is Chrystia Freeland preparing a colour revolution right at home? Does the information battle space ever fail to provide the next leftist innovation?

Going to the very public trouble of creating watch dogs to watch for non-existing foreign electoral interference is ominous. I bet the Ruuskis are amazed at how useful they’ve become in absentia. This may be the beginning of a massive dog and pony show to fool Dystopians should they fail to re-elect Dear Leader. But Freeland is the dog and Trudeau the pony. Can their superiority complex be doubted given what we’ve seen from them thus far?

I say hang on to your hats, Dystopians. There are darker turns ahead as proven by the creation of fake watch dogs whose only job is to watch inside the house, not out.

Here is a weird article about the secret British control of Dystopia (formerly known as Canada). I think it misses the mark by not clearly stating the aforementioned. It wobbles between truthful utterance and what sure sounds like nonsense. What it does get right, at least, is that the current Dystopia globalist regime is dangerous and willing to do anything to keep power.

  6. IRGC General Soleimani’s Instagram Page Blocked After US Blacklisting (sputniknews, Apr 16, 2019)
    https://sputniknews.com/middleeast/201904161074175610-us-iran-irgc-commander-instagram/

“The development comes a day after the US officially designated Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a Foreign Terrorist Organisation.

The Instagram account of Major General Qasem Soleimani from Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC), who have about 900,000 subscribers, has been blocked.

Soleimani has been at the helm of the IRGC’s Quds Force — a division mainly responsible for extraterritorial military and clandestine operations – since 1998.

His Instagram page was frozen just a day after the IRGC was formally blacklisted by the US as a Foreign Terrorist Organisation following a relevant announcement by President Donald Trump on 8 April.

The move “recognises the reality that Iran is not only a State Sponsor of Terrorism, but that the IRGC actively participates in, finances, and promotes terrorism as a tool of statecraft”, Trump said in a statement at the time.

  7. Devoutly Christian secondary school assistant, 43, is sacked after posting petition against transgender issues being taught at her son’s CofE primary (dailymail, Apr 16, 2019)
    https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6925837/School-assistant-43-sacked-posting-petition-against-transgender-teaching-sons-school.html

“A school has sacked a Christian member of staff after she posted online protests against transgender teaching at her son’s primary.

Kristie Higgs, 43, was a pastoral assistant at a Gloucestershire academy but a disciplinary panel there decided that she had used language which demeaned its gay, lesbian and transgender pupils.

The mother-of-two, who had worked at the secondary school for six years with an unblemished record, posted objections on her personal Facebook page to the use of two children’s books at her son’s Church of England primary.

She also invited her Facebook followers to sign a petition against compulsory sex education in primary schools, which is to be introduced next year.

Mrs Higgs’ sacking from Farmor’s School, in Fairford, Gloucestershire, came after a sole anonymous email complaint which accused her of ‘posting homophobic and prejudiced views’.

A disciplinary panel found she was guilty of gross misconduct because there was ‘potential’ for the school’s reputation to be harmed, though the panel admitted ‘there was no actual evidence’ that this had happened.

Mrs Higgs said her Christian views on sex education were ‘shared by hundreds of thousands’ of parents.

‘As soon as the investigation began I was repeatedly told ‘This is nothing to do with your religion’. That was clearly a legal tactic and of course it has everything to do with my religion.’ She is to take her case to an employment tribunal.

The primary school attended by Mrs Higgs’ son attracted her disapproval after it adopted ‘No Outsiders’ teaching about sexual minorities. The same programme has generated a row between schools and Muslim parents in Birmingham.

Books given to the children included involved stories about a boy who wants to wear a dress and a red crayon that discovers it is really blue.

Mrs Higgs had said on her Facebook page: ‘They are brainwashing our children! We say again, this is a vicious form of totalitarianism aimed at suppressing Christianity.’

A disciplinary panel said Mrs Higgs had used language which ‘could be deemed offensive’.

It also found that her posts ‘had caused offence to the complainant’.

The Christian Legal Centre, which is backing Mrs Higgs’ case said: ‘This is all about the freedom of a Christian to hold biblical views.'”

  8. Political row brewing in Australia over repatriation of Isil orphans in Syria (telegraph, Apr 16, 2019)
    https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2019/04/16/political-row-brewing-australia-repatriation-isil-orphans-syria/

“A political row is brewing in Australia over the fate of orphans of Islamic State parents languishing in a camp in Syria.

The three children were taken from Sydney to Syria in 2014 by their parents, who have since died.

The eldest, Zaynab, 17, who now has two children of her own and is pregnant with a third; Hoda,16; and Humzeh, eight, were discovered in al-Hol displacement camp earlier this month by their grandmother Karen Nettleton.

Their father, Khaled Sharrouf – Australia’s most notorious Isil jihadist – was stripped of his citizenship after a picture emerged of one of his younger sons being made to hold the severed head of a Syrian soldier.

However, Ms Nettleton’s attempt to take them out of Syria has been beset with problems.

Scott Morrison, Australia’s prime minister, suggested that the children would not return home anytime soon, saying he was “not going to put any Australian life at risk to extract people from these conflict zones.”

“Australia’s national security interests always come first,” Mr Morrison said. “There are a lot of hurdles to clear on this and Australians can be absolutely satisfied that we will follow those processes extremely closely.”

Mr Morrison is campaigning for his conservative coalition to be re-elected for a third three-year term on May 18. He argues that his government is stronger on national security and border protection than the centre-Left opposition Labor Party.

There are an estimated 70 children born to Australian nationals in the camps and their fate has become a hot button issue ahead of the vote.

Bill Shorten, the opposition leader, said the children should not be used for political capital.

“These kids should not be a political football,” he told reporters. “Probably if they can get a lot of love, then I suspect that’ll be the best way to help reabsorb them into Australian life.”

Zaynab said the siblings, who are likely to be traumatised after spending the last five years living in Isil’s self-declared caliphate, should not be blamed for their predicament.

Ms Nettleton, 62, insists her grandchildren and great-grandchildren are not a threat or danger. “Just because their last name is Sharrouf, doesn’t mean they are monsters,” she said.

Zaynab played down their risk to Australian society. “Well I would say we weren’t the ones that chose to come here in the first place. I mean we were brought here by our parents. And now that our parents are gone, we want to live,” she told ABC Australia’s Four Corners.

“And for me and my children I want to live a normal life, just like anyone would want to live a normal life.”…”

  9. Pakistani Migrant Faces Trial for Smashing Historic Church Holding Tombs of French Kings (breibart, Apr 16, 2019)
    https://www.breitbart.com/europe/2019/04/16/pakistani-migrant-trial-smashing-french-basilica-housing-former-kings/

“A 41-year-old Pakistani migrant will face trial after vandalising the Saint-Denis Basilica, the home of the tombs of many French Kings including Charles Martel.

The Pakistani origin male, who had arrived in France only two months ago, will stand trial in Bobigny next month, accused of causing serious damage to the main organ of the basilica as well as smashing stained glass windows in an apparent attack that took place in March, Le Parisien reports.

While in court for his initial hearing, the Pakistani, who does not speak any French, said through a translator: “I do not know how I am concerned with this case.”

When asked if he would like time to prepare his defence, he told the court he did not understand the French justice system.

According to the court, the man had already been accused of vandalism of property in February and that his DNA had been found in the basilica by investigators which led to his arrest.

The migrant claimed ignorance of the judicial process which forced the judge to question whether or not he was purposely trying to not understand what was occurring. As a result, the judge delayed the trial until May 10th and ordered a psychiatric evaluation of the Pakistani national…”

    https://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/czech-jailed-rail-attacks-blamed-islamic-militants-62426952

“An appeals court has upheld a four-year prison term for a Czech national for carrying out two attacks on trains and blaming them on Islamic militants.

Prague’s regional court ruled in January that 71-year-old Jaromir Balda cut down two trees in 2017 that fell on train tracks near the city of Mlada Boleslav, about 50 kilometers (30 miles) north of Prague. Two passenger trains later hit the trees. Nobody was injured.

The retiree also placed pamphlets at the sites with threats of extremist attacks planned on Czech territory.

Prosecutors said the man’s motivation was to incite fear of Muslims and attacks.

Balda pleaded guilty but claimed he didn’t want to harm anyone. The court also ordered him to undergo psychiatric treatment.

Tuesday’s ruling by Prague’s High Court is final.”

  11. In Libya, a rogues’ gallery of militias prepare for war (abcnews, Apr 16, 2019)
    https://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/libya-rogues-gallery-militias-prepare-war-62423838

“Libya is on the verge of an all-out war involving a rogues’ gallery of militias, many of which are little more than criminal gangs armed with heavy weapons.

The country slid into chaos after the 2011 uprising, in which rebels overthrew and killed longtime dictator Moammar Gadhafi and looted his vast arsenal. Even more weapons have flowed in since then, despite a U.N. arms embargo, as Arab states have backed local allies and Western nations have partnered with militias to combat extremists and stem the flow of migrants.

A former general is now marching on the capital, Tripoli, where an array of militias — which have fought each other in the past — have for now joined forces to prevent a return to one-man rule. The fighting has already killed around 150 people, according to U.N. figures. The International Crisis Group, a Washington- and Brussels-based think tank, said last week that the two main coalitions “appear equally matched,” with fighter jets, gunships and heavy artillery.

    HIFTER’S ARMY

The self-styled Libyan National Army, led by Field Marshal Khalifa Hifter, launched a surprise offensive to retake Tripoli on April 5. Hifter’s opponents view him as an aspiring dictator, and one of his commanders is wanted by the International Criminal Court for war crimes, accused of dozens of extrajudicial killings.

Hifter, who served as a military officer under Gadhafi before defecting in the 1980s, has presented himself as a strong leader who can unify the country. He has spent the last few years battling extremist groups and other rivals in eastern Libya with aid from the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Russia and France. He now controls most of eastern Libya, including the country’s main oil facilities, and has recently made inroads across the south.

His forces include the remnants of Gadhafi’s army as well as tribal fighters and ultra-conservative Islamists known as Salafists. They appear more like a regular army than their adversaries, with uniforms and a clear chain of command. The LNA is allied with other militias from the western city of Zintan that were driven out of Tripoli in 2014.

Hifter’s forces boast MiG fighter jets supplied by neighboring Egypt, as well as drones, attack helicopters and mine-resistant vehicles.

Their heavy weapons and air power give them an advantage in open areas. But they have struggled in urban combat, and their campaigns in the east have left a swath of destruction in Benghazi and other cities. A similar scenario could play out in Tripoli, with local militias luring Hifter’s forces into the city and fighting block by block.

    ———

    TRIPOLI MILITIAS

The U.N. and Western nations support a transitional government set up in Tripoli in 2016 and led by Fayez Sarraj, a technocrat with no military experience. His government was forced to court powerful militias for its own protection, and these groups have vowed to repel Hifter’s forces.

Wolfram Lacher, a Libya expert at the German Institute for International and Security Affairs, says the main Tripoli militias dominate Serraj’s government and have infiltrated its institutions to pillage state resources. In a report published last year, he described them as “criminal networks straddling business, politics and administration.”

They include the Special Deterrent Force, led by Salafist commander Abdel-Rauf Kara, which controls the entrances to Tripoli as well as Matiga, the capital’s only functioning airport. The Nawasi Brigade, led by Salafist Mustafa Qadro, controls the naval base that houses Serraj’s government.

The Tripoli Revolutionaries Brigade is led by Haitham al-Tajuri, who was a bus driver before the 2011 uprising but now tools around the capital in a white Mercedes SUV, sporting clothes by Versace and Dolce & Gabbana. His forces control much of Tripoli, including the southern outskirts.

A U.N. report in 2016 said al-Tajuri and his associates had threatened Central Bank employees in order to receive letters of credit worth more than $20 million. His group was also behind the brief kidnapping of a former prime minister in 2017.

    ———

    MISRATA AND ZAWIYA

The western towns of Misrata and Zawiya saw some of the heaviest fighting during the 2011 uprising and boast powerful local militias allied with the U.N.-backed government.

The Misrata militias secured U.S. military support for their campaign against the Islamic State group in 2016, eventually driving the extremists from their main stronghold in the central city of Sirte. The Misratans also have a large number of tanks they captured from Gadhafi’s forces in 2011.

Zawiya is home to the Martyrs of Victory Brigade, another powerful militia that has joined the alliance against Hifter. Militiamen from Zawiya captured 100 of Hifter’s fighters the day after he launched his offensive.

The leader of the Martyrs of Victory Brigade, Mahmoud Kachlaf, is under U.N. sanctions for allegedly running a large migrant smuggling network. He is accused of working with the commander of the Libyan coast guard in Zawiya to intercept boats run by rival smuggling networks and then detain, abuse and exploit migrants.

    ———

    LIBYA DAWN

A loose alliance of militias, including some affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood group, seized Tripoli in 2014 after their rivals won disputed parliamentary elections. The new parliament relocated to eastern Libya and later allied itself with Hifter, resulting in competing governments.

The militias, known as Libya Dawn, are widely believed to have received support from Turkey and Qatar, which are also believed to have backed Islamist factions during the 2011 uprising.

The Steadfastness Front, led by militia leader Saleh Badi, is seen as the successor to the alliance, which fractured after the U.N.-backed government was established. He is under U.N. and U.S. sanctions for repeatedly attacking forces allied with Serraj’s government, most recently last August. But for now, he is siding with them against Hifter.

    ———

    MIGRANT PATROLS

After 2011, Libya emerged as a major conduit for refugees and migrants fleeing war and poverty in Africa for a better life in Europe. Thousands of migrants have perished while trying to cross the Mediterranean in overcrowded boats while others have been detained and abused by smugglers and armed groups.

The European Union has provided aid to Serraj’s government to help stem the flow of migrants, and Italy has provided vessels and training to the Libyan coast guard.

The Associated Press reported in 2017 that Italy had reached an agreement with the U.N.-backed government to pay militias implicated in trafficking to prevent migrants from departing from the port city of Sabratha. Security officials at the time warned that the groups would use the aid to buy arms and recruit fighters.”

    https://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/philippine-police-wives-abu-sayyaf-commanders-arrested-62427110

“Philippine police on Tuesday arrested four women they said were wives of Abu Sayyaf commanders who took care of their financial transactions, helped procure guns and bomb parts and arranged the travels of foreign militants to the country.

The women were arrested in raids on houses in southern Zamboanga city where authorities seized two grenades, a bag of suspected ammonium nitrate and electrical parts that can be used in making bombs, police officials said.

The women worked under Abu Sayyaf leader Hajan Sawadjaan, the main suspect in the Jan. 27 bombing of a Roman Catholic cathedral during a Mass that killed 23 people in nearby Sulu province’s capital town of Jolo. The cathedral attack by two suspected suicide bombers sparked the latest military offensive against the Abu Sayyaf.

“The women are the wives of Abu Sayyaf group leaders,” a police report said without identifying the militant husbands of the women. They “are being utilized by the ASG for their financial transactions, procurement and transportation of firearms and explosives and the facilitation of recruitment and travel of foreign fighters to the Philippines,” it said…”

“Danish police have banned a second demonstration by an anti-Muslim provocateur in a neighborhood in Copenhagen with a large population of immigrants to avoid unrest.

Police said Tuesday they are investigating an object resembling a hand grenade found in the square where Rasmus Paludan was to stage his demonstration.

Police on Monday canceled a similar demonstration in suburban Copenhagen by Paludan, but counter-demonstrators then set garbage containers on fire and police had to use tear gas to disperse them.

Unrest started Sunday after Paludan, a lawyer who has held dozens of anti-Muslim demonstrations across Denmark under heavy police protection in recent months, threw the Quran in the air several times on a square in the Copenhagen neighborhood of Noerrebro before a raging crowd.”

    • There is a lot of good historical data in the video but BPS is taking the same attitude of the others who say that the collapse of Europe and the European Civilization is going to happen no matter what and that there is nothing we can do to prevent this collapse.

Yes the attacks from the left have destroyed Western Civilization but this doesn’t mean that we can’t fight back and rebuild another civilization. When Rome fell civilization shifted homes to Constantinople and survived for several centuries. Western Civilization has fallen but if we fight back we can create a new and better civilization.

Remember civilizations fall from internal corruption and one group deciding to take power no matter what. Just because one group causes the collapse doesn’t mean another group can’t rebuild. Instead of all crying about how things are collapsing and there is no hope how about working to bring hope back and rebuild our nations and civilizations.

PARIS—An alarm was raised at Notre Dame at 6:20 p.m. on Monday night—23 minutes before the structure was engulfed in flames—but officials found no sign of a fire.

Firefighters who responded to a second alert raced to the scene but were unable to tame an inferno that ripped through the 12th century cathedral for the next 9 hours.

Once the flames were extinguished, there was a sense of relief that many of the ancient artefacts had been saved but the integrity of the Gothic stone building could still be unstable. Two-thirds of the timber roof is gone—it had been crafted from more than 13,000 oak trees, an entire forest reduced to kindling. Preliminary images of the devastated interior reveal a gaping hole where the 300-foot wooden spire once stood and smoke rising from the ashes of burning pews.

Paris public prosecutor Rémy Heitz announced on Tuesday that a full investigation would uncover how a massive fire was allowed to gut the cathedral.

  19. Russia blocks news site for anti-Putin graffiti under new law

MOSCOW, April 15 (Reuters) – Russian authorities blocked a regional news website over the weekend over a report about graffiti insulting Vladimir Putin, its chief editor said, under a new ban on insulting officials online.

The legislation, which Putin signed into law last month, allows authorities to block sites that carry content deemed to show “blatant disrespect”.

Kremlin critics say the measure is a form of direct state censorship. The law’s authors say it is needed to preserve healthy public debate online.

The 76.Ru news site in Yaroslavl, northeast of Moscow, was blocked by state media watchdog Roskomnadzor for more than 12 hours on April 12-13, Chief Editor Olga Prokhorova said.

She said Roskomnadzor informed 76.Ru after the site had been blocked that its report about graffiti on the columns of a local police station crudely slurring Putin contained information that had been flagged under the law against insulting authorities.

  21. Hungry Alligators Are Invading Streets, Homes And Pools In Florida

While seeing an alligator is never too much of a surprise in Florida, the number of close encounters has jumped in recent days and it’s likely due to a combination of hunger and lust.

A family in Fort Meyers was awoken by an eight-foot gator in their lanai in the middle of the night last week, police said on Facebook. In another part of town, a motorist captured footage of a massive gator casually strolling along a busy road:

    https://twitter.com/i/status/1116754539980316672

With the mating season underway, the randy reptiles tend to be more active. But one expert told local media there was more to it than that. The weather is getting warmer and the higher temps speed up the reptiles’ metabolism and make them hungrier.

“They have to find some food so that’s when we’ll find them on sidewalks and people’s pools,” Brian Norris of Florida Fish and Wildlife told Fox 4 in Fort Myers. “They’re really just out there browsing around.”

Some might even be looking for chicken. A motorist in North Port had to call the cops after coming out of a chicken wing restaurant and finding a gator under the car:

Richard: Gators are carnivorous reptiles who are a danger to pets, children and adults. Please don’t give me the BS the animal rights groups say about gators not attacking man. That is pure BS humans are meat that is easy to stalk, gators are hunting meat and the easier the stalk the better.

  22. Richard: The witch hunt continues, Congress is hunting for something, anything they can use to damage the President. This action shows that they don’t believe in Democracy, Representative Republics or the peaceful exchange of power. They are going to keep pushing until the get the civil war they want. A war that is going to be long and bloody with many different groups fighting for different goals.

House Democrats subpoena Deutsche Bank in Trump investigation

House Democrats on Monday issued a subpoena to the German lender Deutsche Bank seeking information on President Donald Trump’s finances, a major escalation of their investigation into his business dealings.

In addition to the Deutsche Bank subpoena, House Democrats subpoenaed other banks — including JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America and Citigroup — seeking information on Russian money laundering. The issuance of the subpoenas was first reported by The New York Times.

  23. President Trump: U.S. will emerge as winner regardless of outcome of trade talks

As trade negotiations continue to drag on between the U.S. and China, President Trump is confident no matter the outcome the U.S. will come out on top.

The president made the remark Monday, while speaking in Minnesota. He reassured the nation that even if a deal can not be reached, the U.S. will still emerge as a winner because of the progress made so far with China.

This comes as Beijing and Washington are nine-months deep into a trade war in which the president seeks to reduce the deficit with China.

  24. Notre Dame Cathedral in Holy Week
    By J.E. Dyer April 16, 2019

There seemed to be so little that was worth saying aloud, as the news broke that a devastating fire raged in Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris.

For Christians, the timing must speak, whether or not we agree on what it says. This is the Monday of Holy Week, the day after Palm Sunday and part of the countdown to Good Friday and Easter, the day of commemorating Jesus’s resurrection.

After such a beginning, what else can Holy Week of 2019 have in store?

In terms of prosaic details, we at least have an encouraging update that the fire has been contained, and the majestic twin belfries will survive.

    https://libertyunyielding.com/2019/04/16/notre-dame-cathedral-in-holy-week/

    • But the original structure was contemporary with Louis VII and Eleanor of Aquitaine, predating the Hundred Years’ War by nearly two centuries. Notre Dame has had its share of mishaps since. It has survived as a civilizational touchstone, a calendar in stone, wood, and metal of the story of Europe and the Christian West. Its Gothic character evokes a spinoff legacy of Rome, but not Rome itself, and in that sense, it seems like a thread that began where our true, modern ancestral memories do. Unlike the Forum and the Colosseum, Notre Dame cathedral has a life among us today; we use it for its original purpose even now, celebrating Mass, playing hymns on the great organs, singing and praying – and not just taking guided tours through roped paths with our smartphones out snapping photographs.

Or we did do that, until about 18 hours ago. On social media on Monday, I saw comment after comment on the theme that this is either a warning to or a knell tolling for the West. I’m not here to say it isn’t. President Emanuel Macron vows to rebuild the cathedral, and all things being equal, there’s no reason that can’t be done.

    • Richard: Read the entire article, I posted two paragraphs from it separately.

There are several things that are highly suspicious :

1: The report that a fire alarm was sounded 23 minutes before the fire started. This delayed the response to the real fire.

2: The report that there were no construction work being done when the fire started.

3: The report that the fire started in two locations.

4: The number of and frequency of the desecrations of Christian Chruchs around the world.

The four things listed above make it a high probability t hat the fire was deliberately set.

The comments that this is a warning to the west are true, the comments that this is a death knell for the west are true only if we let it be a death knell. I am seeing way too many people (and have posted some of the videos) where people are accepting that the fall of the west is inevitable so we shouldn’t do anything to prevent this collapse.

We still have the power to prevent the fall of the west if we just fight, we have the leaders (at the moment) in President Trump, along with Orban and Bibi. If we will follow them and fight we can’t lose the war. If we don’t fight we can’t win the war.

Our first problem to be solved is the internal enemies of the left and the foreign invaders they have let enter our nations. It is highly unlikely that any western nation will be able to defeat our internal enemies without a civil war. When this war comes it will be a war against the left, the Islamic Invaders and any others who support them. This will include our external enemies who will work to either ensure that we don’t win the civil wars and the war to preserve freedom, or to see us so weakened by the wars that they will be able to match us and once again create a multi-polar world order.

      • …way too many people… are accepting that the fall of the west is inevitable so we shouldn’t do anything to prevent this collapse.

Our internal enemies aren’t all on the left.
We’ve got to counter this passivity of the demoralized within our own ranks.

“In a joint counter-terrorism operation launched by the Pakistan Army and police in the country’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province, five suspected terrorists were eliminated after 17 hours of engagement.

New Delhi (Sputnik) — The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistani Armed Forces, on Tuesday confirmed the death of five terrorists and an assistant police sub-inspector in a joint intelligence-based operation in Pakistan’s northwestern Peshawar city.

“Army and KP police conducted a joint intelligence-based operation in Hayatabad Phase VII, Peshawar against a terrorist hideout. Operation started last night. During exchange of fire, five terrorists have been killed while ASI Qamar Alam embraced martyrdom, an officer and a soldier got injured,” the ISPR reported.

The eliminated terrorists were affiliated with the outlawed Tahrik-e-Taliban terrorist outfit. The terrorists took cover in a three-storey residential building, but they were ultimately neutralised after security forces demolished the building with the help of 50 kilograms of explosives.

The counter-terrorism operation began on Monday night amid an intermittent heavy exchange of fire between security forces and a cluster terrorists. Repeated attempts were made to clear the area.

After the building was demolished, security forces pulled out the bodies of the killed terrorists from the debris and transported them to the Khyber Medical Complex for postmortem and identification.

Lt. General Shaheen Mazhar Mehmood, commander of the Pakistan Army’s XI Corps, inspected the area after the successful completion of the operation and praised the professional expertise of the security forces. He also lauded the residents of the area for their cooperation, added the ISPR.

Peshawar City Police Chief Qazi Jameel said one terrorist was killed on Monday night and the remaining four were eliminated on Tuesday.”

  27. Patriotic soldier told to REMOVE Union flag from back garden after ONE neighbour moaned (express, Apr 16, 2019)
    https://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/1114928/Patriotic-soldier-flying-Union-Jack-back-garden-neighbour-moaned

“A FORMER Gulf War veteran who flew a Union Jack flag in his own garden says he has been ordered to take it down – after a neighbour labelled it a “nuisance”. Patriotic Andrew Smith, 51, installed the flag on a pole in tribute to Great Britain after serving six years in the Royal Signals.

But following a complaint by one neighbour on his estate, he says that he received a letter from a housing developer ordering him to take it down.

The father-of-two has so far complied with the notice but is now fighting back because he is “proud to be British”.

Mr Smith served in the Army between 1988 and 1994 and saw action during the Gulf War – a conflict waged by coalition forces in response to Iraq’s invasion of Kuwait.

He wanted to show his continued appreciation for Queen and country and decided to purchase the £3 flag from eBay which measures 5ft by 3ft.

But Mr Smith says that a disgruntled neighbour complained to bosses at Harron Homes who he claims have warned him to take down the flagpole or face legal action.

He said: “I think it’s the flag as it’s the first thing [the neighbour] mentioned, he said to me ‘I hope you’re taking the flag down, it’s spoiling our view.’

“I can’t see why a union jack flag is offensive. Why would you be offended by patriotism?

“We have become soft and don’t want to upset other people, whereas I have done my bit for my country and I’m proud to be British.

“I went to war for my country. It’s something close to my heart and every morning I feel like saluting it. We are becoming weak and spineless. Who are they to tell me not to fly the flag?”

Mr Smith, now a project manager, moved into the property in Hucknall, Nottinghamshire, with his wife Trigania, 28, in October last year.

The couple previously lived in Chilwell, Nottinghamshire, where Mr Smith flew the flag without incident for 10 years.

He asked locals on the Sandlands Park Facebook group page in February this year whether anyone would be offended if he installed a pole and union jack flag in his back garden.

Mr Smith says that he received more than 70 positive comments and decided to go ahead, but heard a knock at the door within hours of putting it up from a disgruntled neighbour.

Mr Smith said: “It’s a covenant garden, whatever I signed when I bought the house said I wasn’t allowed to do anything that causes a nuisance or annoyance.

“I asked on a Facebook group ‘is this going to offend anyone, I’m proud to serve?’.

“People said ‘go for it. I got 31 love heart emojis, 20 thumbs up and 70 positive comments.

“Then I got a knock at the door from a neighbour round the back who said ‘we don’t like that, are you going to take it down?’.

“They probably knocked on the door around 20 times over the next three days but I just ignored it.

“Then we got a letter from Harron Homes saying they had been instructed by a solicitor that I have to take the flagpole down because it’s causing a nuisance.

“I took it down but I have fought back.”

The flagpole is not a permanent structure and Mr Smith intermittently switches the union jack with the England flag which he puts us during football and rugby matches.

    Harron Homes declined to comment.”

  28. VICE NEWS – The Far-Right Is Trying To Make Crucifixes Mandatory In Italy

Luigi Carozzi is the Mayor of the northern Italian town of Pontida, a heartland of the far-right League party. He’s pushing for Pontida to adopt a new emblem — one that sends a very clear message about Italy’s heritage.

The emblem in question is the Christian cross. “This is our symbol. It belongs to us and I’m proud of it” says Carozzi.

Christian symbols are having something of a comeback in Italy. And it’s not due to a religious awakening, but because of a policy being proposed by the governing far-right League Party.

Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini has proposed a new law that requires Crucifixes to be displayed in all public buildings, or face a fine. The proposal is unlikely to pass into law, but Salvini supporters including members of the League Party love the idea.

At a League party club in Milian, League supporter Adriana says she backs the bill and sees it as part of the wider campaign to assert Italian identity in the face of immigration: “I respect other people, but when they come here they have to respect me. If they don’t like my country they can go back home” she told VICE news.

However, support for the bill is seriously lacking in the Catholic Church, which opposes the law. But the Church’s official position hasn’t stopped the League party from doubling its support in 2018 among those who attend church regularly.

This has put pro-migrant clergy in a tough spot. Father Massimo Biancalani, who houses more than one hundred refugees in his church in Pistoia, has been personally attacked by Salvini on Twitter for his pro-migrant stance. Biancalani says the League is using Christian symbols as “support for their ideology. What’s even worse is that these ideas are xenophobic and inhuman.”

  29. 12-Year-Old Injured in Explosion as Sweden Sees Rise in Incidents (breitbart, Apr 16, 2019)
    https://www.breitbart.com/europe/2019/04/16/12-year-old-injured-explosion-sweden-sees-rise-incidents/

“A 12-year-old in the southern Swedish city of Malmö was injured following an explosion, as police say the number of incidents nationwide is growing.
An explosion in the Nobeltorget area resulted in the damage of a four-storey residential building at around two o’clock in the morning on Monday.

A 12-year-old girl, who was sleeping in her bedroom at the time, was injured when her window smashed as a result of the blast and was taken to hospital for treatment, Swedish broadcaster SVT reports.

SVT’s Mikael Nilsson described the explosion as a “powerful detonation,” while police press officer Calle Persson said police were questioning any potential witnesses to see if a car had passed on the nearby road.

The bomb squad, which was also deployed to the scene, said they did not find any other explosives in the immediate area. So far, investigators have been vague as to the exact cause of the explosion.

The incident is just the latest explosion in Sweden this year. According to the Swedish Crime Prevention Council Brå, the number of explosive incidents nationwide has increased over the last year.

In 2018, they said that the country saw 37 blasts within the first three months of the year while this year there were 48 incidents over the same period.

While there has been an increase across Sweden, Malmö itself has actually seen a decline since 2016 where there had been 62 cases over the first three months of the year.

Police say that explosions have come from a number of sources with some simply being powerful fireworks while sometimes more serious devices, such as hand grenades, are used.

Over the last several years, Sweden has been attempting to combat the use of hand grenades among criminal gangs, even offering amnesty for the weapons.

The programme was met with little success as no hand grenades were turned in as of January of this year, although other kinds of explosives were.”

  30. Add India to the list of countries furious with Canada over Justin Trudeau’s leadership.

How many more countries can Trudeau alienate?

The PM was elected on a promise to put Canada back on the world stage. Not that we had left, but in his view, Canada under Stephen Harper no longer put forward true Canadian values.

Since being elected, Trudeau has alienated the United States and China, our two largest trading partners.

He can’t even say he accomplished either feat in the pursuit of a grand goal like standing up for human rights, he just annoyed them and handled issues badly.

Same with Saudi Arabia, a truly horrible regime but one that we annoyed over a tweet that would accomplish nothing. Chrystia Freeland’s Twitter outrage at the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia would have been better dealt with, and most likely accomplished more, if she had used quiet diplomacy.

  33. Iran Ratifies Bill Designating US CENTCOM as Terrorist Group – Reports (sputniknews, Apr 16, 2019)
    https://sputniknews.com/middleeast/201904161074195487-iran-retaliatory-centcom/

“The Iranian parliament ratified a bill on Tuesday that designates the US Central Command (CENTCOM) as a terrorist organisation in retaliation to the United States placing Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) under the same designation last week, local media reported.

According to the Iranian Mehr news agency, 204 out of the 256 parliament members present voted in favor of the bill.

The bill also designates any aid — financial, technological and information — provided to CENTCOM as a terrorist measure.

This comes after on 8 April, US President Donald Trump announced that the United States was designating Iran’s IRGC as a terrorist organisation. In response, the Iranian Foreign Ministry proposed that the country’s Supreme National Security Council include CENTCOM in its list of the terrorist group.

Tensions between the United States and Iran have escalated since Washington withdrew from the Iran nuclear agreement last year and reinstated sanctions against Tehran. The nuclear agreement envisaged gradual lifting of sanctions in return for Iran keeping its nuclear program peaceful.

  34. Court Reopens Trudeau Case
A federal judge has ordered the Commissioner of Lobbying to reopen an investigation of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s dealings with the Aga Khan. The ruling follows multiple trips by the Trudeau Family to the Aga Khan’s private Bahamian isle.

“The decision is quashed and returned for redetermination,” wrote Justice Patrick Gleeson. The ruling came at the request of the advocacy group Democracy Watch.

Then-Lobbying Commissioner Karen Shepherd in 2017 dismissed a complaint that the Aga Khan violated the Lobbyists’ Code by hosting the Prime Minister and his family at his private island. Shepherd ruled that, since the Aga Khan is not a registered lobbyist, no breach of the Lobbying Act occurred.

Democracy Watch argued the Aga Khan is director of the Aga Khan Foundation, which is a registered lobby, and that federal agencies have contributed nearly $330 million to projects supported by the Foundation. “The Commissioner’s analysis does not consider whether the Aga Khan may have received ‘anything of value’,” wrote Justice Gleeson.

“It begins and ends with the simple question of monetary payment,” wrote the Court. “Restricting the analysis to this narrow question is inconsistent with both the wording of the Act and the objects and purposes of the Lobbyists’ Code.”

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg oversaw plans to consolidate the social network’s power and control competitors by treating its users’ data as a bargaining chip, while publicly proclaiming to be protecting that data, according to about 4,000 pages of leaked company documents largely spanning 2011 to 2015 and obtained by NBC News.

The documents, which include emails, webchats, presentations, spreadsheets and meeting summaries, show how Zuckerberg, along with his board and management team, found ways to tap Facebook’s trove of user data — including information about friends, relationships and photos — as leverage over companies it partnered with.

In some cases, Facebook would reward favored companies by giving them access to the data of its users. In other cases, it would deny user-data access to rival companies or apps.

  37. Sean Hannity guest says Ilhan Omar is ‘infatuated’ with al Qaeda, Hamas, and Hezbollah

Former New York police commissioner Bernard Kerik argued Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., is “infatuated” with terrorist groups such as al Qaeda while he was a guest on Fox News host Sean Hannity’s show.

Omar has been criticized for describing the 9/11 attacks as “some people did something” when she spoke to Muslim advocacy group Council on American-Islamic Relations last month.

According to Kerik, Omar is obsessed with designated terrorist groups and should be removed from office.

“She is infatuated with al Qaeda, with Hamas, Hezbollah. She was at CAIR at a fundraiser, she was the keynote speaker at a fundraiser for CAIR, which according to the United Arab Emirates, an Arab nation, they are a terrorist organization,” Kerik said during his interview Monday night with Hannity.

“You can’t do that and be a member of Congress. I personally think she should be removed from Congress,” Kerik said. “She should be voted out for sure, but she shouldn’t be on the Foreign Relations Committee.”
