Austria: Brutal gang of asylum seekers was dealing drugs, threatened customers+++
A very brutal gang of asylum seekers could now be investigated by the police in Linz. “Customers” who bought drugs from the asylum seekers were systematically threatened with death by an accomplice! Two Pakistani and one Afghan asylum seeker, all allegedly 18 years old, had sold about 9.2 kilograms of marijuana as well as a small number of tablets containing the active ingredient MDMA at the end of 2017 until 29th of December 2018 at Linz Central Station and elsewhere in the city of Linz.The trio of asylum seekers sold the drugs to 40 investigated customers, acting extremely aggressively and very well organised. An 18-year-old woman from Linz made her apartment in Schiller street available for bunkering and packing addictive drugs. After the arrest of the perpetrators at Linz Central Station, she is said to have coerced several drug addicts into omitting a statement to the police by threatening them with death.A 22-year-old and a 15-year-old, both from Linz, who were used by the perpetrators to distribute narcotic drugs and to acquire customers, could also be investigated. All accused were reported to the public prosecutor’s offices in Linz and Wels.

German president lauds Iran on revolution that seeks Israel’s destruction+++
The president of Germany Frank Walter-Steinmeier sent a congratulatory telegram to Iran’s mullah regime in honor of the 40th anniversary of the Islamic revolution in the name of federal republic’s citizens. Germany’s largest paper Bild reported on Wednesday “On the 40th anniversary of that day, friendly greetings from Berlin arrived in Tehran by telegram: the President of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier (63), sends ‘Congratulations’ on the occasion of the national holiday, ‘also in the name of my compatriots.”‘ Rabbi Abraham Cooper, the associate dean of the Simon Wiesenthal Center, told The Jerusalem Post on Thursday that the center “condemns German President’s congratulations to the most dangerous regime in the world, who are religious bigots, who hang Gays, and threaten genocide against Israel–home to the largest Jewish community in the world. When will he condemn their Holocaust denial?” The congratulatory note to a regime that seeks the destruction of the Jewish state and the United States of America has raised eyebrows and unleashed criticism on social media. The prominent German-Iranian dissident and public intellectual Nasrin Amirsedghi wrote on her Twitter feed that “Steinmeier congratulates the Terror-Mullahs.”Bild wrote “Mass executions and torture; the brutal persecution of women, minorities, and the opposition; the installation of an Islamist terror state that threatens to annihilate Israel, that covers the Middle East with its militias, and that denies the Holocaust. All of this started in Iran on 11 February, 1979, the day of the ‘Islamic Revolution,’ when the mullahs seized power in Tehran.”
Steinmeier, who as then-foreign minister previously allowed former Iranian deputy foreign minister Muhammad Javad Ardashir Larijani, in 2008, to call for Israel’s destruction and deny the Holocaust at a German foreign ministry event near Berlin’s Holocaust memorial, told Iran’s president Hassan Rouhani that Germany is doing “everything in its power to guarantee the maintenance and continued implementation of the JCPOA (Iran nuclear deal).”The Bild article by Antje Schippmann noted “There is not a word of criticism concerning Tehran’s murderous attacks in Europe or its billions for financing terror groups such as Hamas and Hezbollah.” The article said: “Instead, the telegram praises the bilateral relations and promises to ‘intensely maintain’ the dialogue. Only together, is it possible to ‘overcome the crises and conflicts.”‘ wrote the president, who is a member of Germany’s social democratic party.
Schippmann wrote: To conclude, he [Steinmeier] encouraged the regime to also listen to the critical voices in your country. “A suggestion that seems absurd given the thousands of political detainees in torture prisons, including human rights lawyers, journalists, and environmental activists,” she wrote.The Free Democratic foreign policy Frank Müller-Rosentritt told the paper that Steinmeier’s praise for the Iranian regime that “For our friends in Israel, who are subject to Iran’s permanent threats of annihilation, this must feel like a slap in the face.“
Germany’s social democratic foreign minister Heiko Maas appeared in a photograph shaking hands with Iran’s foreign minister Javad Zarif at the weekend Munich Security conference.
The prominent Palestinian-Israeli psychologist and author Ahmad Mansour, who works to combat radical Islam and antisemitism in Germany, wrote on his Twitter feed that “the picture confirms my impression that politics [in Germany] does not take the fight against Antisemitism seriously.”
Last week, Germany’s deputy foreign minister, Niels Annen, celebrated Iran’s revolution in the Iranian embassy Berlin. He told Deutsche Welle that he has “no regrets” about his participation in the celebration. In January, the Post reported that Iran’s regime hanged a man based on an anti-gay charge.

Sounds like a very good reason for massive pre-emptive strikes on both the sites and the source of the kits although I fail to see how they can make a dumb missile follow the kit’s instructions as that would require the ability to change direction in flight and a whole new flight control system. Anyone care to enlighten me? Mind you, I still see the cartoon of the Iranian heat seeking missile as a cat tied to a katyusha rocket and I wonder if this is near that level.
I agree with you on the guidance problem, I don’t see how a kit could make the missiles more accurate, unless the missiles had some type of guidance system built in they wouldn’t have the ability to modify their trajectory.
Having said that I don’t have detailed knowledge about how the missiles are built, they might have some course correction tech built in and the kits just improve their accuracy. I do know that Hezbollah is suppose to have 100,000 or more missiles aimed at Israel. if they can improve the accuracy of a quarter or better they can level entire cities.
Sometime last year Yucki said that Israel was expecting a 4 front war within 18 to 24 months. This could be part of the war prep by the Iranians.

In retrospect, it’s hard to imagine how anyone in the FBI – or the Justice Department, for that matter – could see what the Bureau was doing about Donald Trump as an “investigation.”
New disclosures from testimony given in 2018 have made it even clearer than it already was that this wasn’t an investigation. It was an operation, apparently one designed to gain information about Trump and/or his associates and arrange for the information to serve some kind of end. Such ends, in the playbook of major league law enforcement, might include setting Trump up for entrapment or exposure, or finding “Al Capone tax evasion” type charges to bring him down with, if nothing else could be assembled.
In this post we’ll look at just a couple of key threads revealed this week from reviews of prior congressional testimony reported out by John Solomon and Jeff Carlson.
Solomon’s goes first, as it sets the stage. His bomblet from a report on Wednesday is that Bruce Ohr, the DOJ official, handed to the FBI in 2016 what was, in effect, a “third dossier” compiled by his wife Nellie Ohr.

ITALY – Diciotti migrants file for damages against Italy
(ANSAmed) – ROME, FEBRUARY 21 – A law firm has filed a suit in the Rome civil court against Italian Premier Giuseppe Conte and Interior Minister Matteo Salvini on behalf of 41 migrants who were rescued at sea and brought aboard the ship Diciotti, sources at the interior ministry said.
In the lawsuit, the migrants are asking for damages between 42,000 and 71,000 euros for having been forced to remain aboard the ship for several days. Sources at the interior ministry said 16 of the 41 migrants in the lawsuit have a birthdate listed as January 1.
After the migrants disembarked from the Diciotti, they took refuge at structures run by the Baobab Experience refugee association.

The pair, who have adopted the aliases Reem and Rawan, said in a statement from their lawyer they had renounced Islam and fear the death penalty if forced to return to Saudi Arabia.
The sisters aged 20 and 18, whose representatives say they suffered violent abuse, fled to Hong Kong in September from a family holiday in Sri Lanka and were planning to fly on to Australia.
But they say they were obstructed by Saudi officials and have been living in hiding in the Chinese city for nearly six months since.
“We fled our home to ensure our safety. We hope that we can be given asylum in a country which recognises women’s rights and treats them as equals,” the pair said in the statement shared by prominent lawyer Michael Vidler.
According to the lawyer’s statement, they were intercepted during their stopover by unknown men who took their passports and “attempted to deceive the sisters” into boarding a flight back to Saudi Arabia.
They later learned one of the men was Saudi Arabia’s consul general in Hong Kong, and that their onward flight booking had been cancelled, it added.
The Saudi consulate in Hong Kong did not respond to requests for comment.
After failing to board a second flight and fearing they were about to be “forcibly abducted”, the sisters say they left Hong Kong airport to enter the city as visitors.
They have been forced to change locations 13 times for fear of their safety, their statement said, after police reportedly tried to take them to meet with male relatives and Saudi officials.
The case has emerged a month after 18-year-old Saudi woman Rahaf Mohammed al-Qunun drew global attention with her dramatic escape from an allegedly abusive family, gaining refugee status in Canada last month.”

“Earlier this week five German cities saw stabbing attacks on the same day with several hospitalised and at least two migrants declared suspects in connection with the attacks.
The attacks have generated considerable media attention in once-peaceful Germany, where this level of violence is unusual.
The first attack occurred in Cologne at around 4:40 am Sunday and came about following a dispute at a local hookah bar. As the dispute became more aggressive, violence broke out with one of the men involved stabbing another man several times with a sharp object, forcing him to require emergency surgery to save his life, German tabloid Bild reports.
Police later said they arrested a 26-year-old in connection with the case and that both of the individuals involved at the time were heavily intoxicated.
In the town of Lingen in Lower Saxony, another attack took place involving a 44-year-old woman who was dragged off her bicycle by two men and injured with a knife. The men soon fled the scene after the woman cried out for help.
Police in the area say they are investigating the attack as a possible attempted homicide but have not been able to identify the two attackers beyond claiming them to be adolescents.
Another woman, an 18-year-old was attacked in Nuremberg at around 5 am after meeting up with her 21-year-old friends in what is believed to have been a random act of violence. The victim later gave a description to police who soon arrested a 25-year-old Iraqi asylum seeker in connection with the knife attack.
Another man described as having an Arabic background is wanted by police for a stabbing in Mülheim an der Ruhr along with four other suspects. The victim claimed that he had been lured to the site of the stabbing by an acquaintance and was then attacked on arrival.
The suspect in the final knife attack in Frankfurt, a 19-year-old, phoned the police and gave himself up after he is alleged to have been involved, along with seven others, in the stabbing of a 22-year-old who was hospitalised.
The attacks come just two months after three women were stabbed in Nuremberg and just over a month after an Afghan migrant stabbed a pregnant 25-year-old Polish woman killing her unborn child in the process.”

“The European Union (EU) border agency Frontex has released new statistical data showing that the tough migrant policies of Italian populist Interior Minister Matteo Salvini have drastically reduced illegal migration.
The EU agency revealed that the Mediterranean migrant route numbers had dropped from 118,962 in 2017 to 23,276 in 2018, a decline of around 80 percent following the formation of the populist coalition government of Salvini’s Lega and the Five Star Movement Il Giornale reports.
According to the data, the number of illegals in 2018 is the lowest amount since 2012 and showed that while Italy had sen a massive decline due to Salvini’s policies, socialist-led Spain had seen a 157 percent rise in crossings by the sea in 2018.
Fabrice Leggeri, director of Frontex commented on the newly released figures saying, “the Libyan route has become less attractive, because of the dangers,” and said that the trend of decline int he central Mediterranean had begun in the summer of 2017 and increased the following year.
Vice-President of the Italian Senate, Roberto Calderoli a member of Salvini’s Lega, said that while the report did not explicitly mention Salvini, it was a clear victory for Salvini’s policies.
“This confirms that the Italian policy, implemented by Minister Salvini and the Government of change, works and produces concrete results, even in terms of lives saved, because Frontex confirms that the departures from Libya fell by 87 percent,” he said.
“These are irrefutable numbers, which contradict what the left has done in the last five years, when it was, unfortunately, in government, and had brought in over 600 thousand immigrants,” Calderoli noted and went on to add, “we saw that the invasion could be stopped and Salvini did it.”
The Frontex figures follow Italian Interior Ministry reports that have shown illegal migration levels decreased by 95 percent in January of this year compared to January of 2018.
The policy has also made Salvini a popular figure among the Italian electorate with a European Union projection for the upcoming European Parliament elections showing Lega and Salvini will likely win the most seats in Italy.
The projection would make Lega second only to German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s Christian Democratic Union in their number of seats in the chamber.”

“The assailant who stabbed several people in a frenzied knife attack in central Marseille this week chose his victims on the basis of their nationality, according to reports.
Three men and one women were injured in Tuesday’s attack, which saw convicted killer Karim L. shot dead by police this week after he went on a stabbing spree at just before 5 pm on the Canebière, Marseille’s famous historic high street.
Local media said the 36-year-old homeless man, who had previously spent 14 years in prison for murdering his father, began his attack on pedestrians — one of whom was reportedly seriously hurt after sustaining slash wounds to the throat — near the city’s ancient port before progressing towards the Noailles quarter.
Approached by police who rushed to the scene, he pulled out a handgun and shot at the officers, who fatally wounded the suspect when they returned fire, authorities told the French press.
A police source told the broadsheet Le Figaro that Karim had “addressed passers-by in French and in a foreign language, quizzing people on their nationality, before stabbing them — or not — based on the answers he received”.
Authorities are not currently investigating the attack as terror-related, according to reports, with Marseille’s public prosecutor Xavier Tarabeux telling a press conference that the assailant had not shouted “Allahu Akhbar” during his stabbing spree.
Jean-Claude Gaudin, the city’s mayor, wished victims a speedy recovery but also warned locals not to “peddle false information” regarding the incident, adding in a statement: “The investigation will determine whether it was a [terror] attack or a tragic news item”.
Local media reported last year that an increasingly deadly drugs trafficking scene and an outbreak of murders left police officers in Marseille — where an estimated 30 to 40 per cent of the population is Muslim — feeling “helpless” in the face of escalating violence plaguing the heavily multicultural French port city, which is regularly named as the most dangerous metropolis in Europe.”

The arrangements made for Islamist extremists living in the United Kingdom has come under intense scrutiny in the wake of the rediscovery of a former London schoolgirl who defected to the Islamic State in 2015, who now wants to come to Britain to raise an ISIS fighter’s son.
While the British government has stripped 19-year-old Shamima Begum of her citizenship in a bid to prevent her from returning to the United Kingdom, Breitbart London has previously reported how a large number of extremists have already arrived — and continue to arrive — from foreign warzones.
Despite assurances from the police that those returning will be subjected to Terrorism Prevention and Investigation Measures (TPIMs), a report by British newspaper The Times reports that only a small minority are actually monitored in this way.
Nikita Malik of the Henry Jackson Society told the paper that, due at least in part to the great expense of putting TPIMs in place, only a small number have actually been activated, speaking of only a “handful” of the estimated 400 returned fighters and extremists being subjected to them.
“The rest have been put under surveillance. TPIMs are for the highest level because they are so costly,” Malik explained.
The report revealed Home Office figures showing nearly £5 million had been spent controlling just 23 individuals, with legal bills of £1 million a year and accommodation costs of £70,000 a year per individual. Other costs, including tagging suspects, travel costs, and policing to enforce restrictions, are counted separately, piling up on top of the Home Office figures.
The government disputes the claims of the Henry Jackson Society, and insists the use of TPIMs is not considered on cost grounds.
These figures come just weeks after separate revelations reported by Breitbart London on the monitoring of terror returnees uncovered by Labour MP John Woodcock. Speaking in Parliament, Mr Woodcock said: “Are more than 400 of those returning individuals in jail or going through the court system? We simply do not know, because the Government will not release the figures, despite repeated requests.
“There is strong demand from the public to know how many who travelled to fight foreign jihad are currently free in British communities. Those men and women are escaping justice, despite having been prepared to fight British troops in the name of a sickeningly evil cause.
“If they are not locked up or deradicalised, they are potentially able to import back to British streets brutal killing techniques learned on the battlefield.”
Responding to his questions, a Government spokesman said of the more than 850 UK-linked individuals who are known to have travelled to Syria, “over 15 percent” are presumed dead, and “just under half” are now in Britain.
Most shockingly, despite their association with extremist militant groups and activity in an active warzone, the Government admitted: “A significant proportion of those individuals who have already returned are assessed as no longer being of national security concern” — meaning that far from being prosecuted, they may not even be under active surveillance.
Returning fighters and extremists are not just creating problems for the United Kingdom, but for nations across Europe where unchecked mass migration is a feature of national life. The European Union is to crack down on sales of chemicals in response to this free movement of terrorists, with a European Commission document noting the “vast majority of terrorist attacks in the EU” were commi9tted by terrorists using home-made explosives.
Counter Extremism Project senior director, Hans-Jakob Schindler said of the move: “The guys coming from Syria and Iraq very likely have built hundreds of IEDs [improvised explosive devices] in their time there, because that was one of the preferred methods used as an equalizer against the much-better-equipped Iraqi army.”

India has vowed a “jaw-breaking response” to a suicide bombing in the disputed Kashmir region last week that killed 40 Indian soldiers. It was the worst attack on Indian forces since the start of the Kashmir insurgency in 1989.
Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan announced the order in a government statement released after a meeting of his National Security Committee. It said Pakistan was “not involved in any way, means or form” in the attack, which it said was “conceived, planned and executed indigenously.”

“A German-Moroccan couple was arrested Thursday in central Germany on charges they were planning an Islamic extremist attack. A series of raids included searches of the homes of 12 other suspects, Frankfurt prosecutors said.
Frankfurt prosecutor Nadja Niesen said authorities believe the suspects were in the early stages of planning an attack in Germany.
“There was not yet a concrete attack target that we’re aware of,” she said.
The couple, both 26 and German-Moroccan dual nationals, tried to travel with their two young children to Syria in 2016 to join the Islamic State extremist group, but were captured in Turkey and deported back to Germany, Niesen said.
They were arrested at their home in the Raunheim area, southwest of Frankfurt in the state of Hesse. Overall, some 200 police officers raided 15 homes in Ruesselsheim, Biebesheim, and Raunheim in Hesse as well as one in Kerpen in North Rhine-Westphalia
The nationalities of the other suspects were given as either German or German-Moroccan. The 12 were between 22 and 33 years old and face charges of accessory to planning an attack in Germany, Niesen said.

Every year, the grifters of the Southern Poverty Law Center release their new “hate map” and claims a huge rise in “hate groups”, even if they have to fake the increase. And, ever since Trump’s victory, the SPLC invariably blames the increase on President Trump.
Even if it makes no sense.
This time around, the Southern Poverty Law Center blames the increase in white nationalist hate groups on Trump. And then, confusingly, the increase in black nationalist hate groups on Trump.
In its Rage Against Change report, the SPLC claims that, “The total number of hate groups rose to 1,020 in 2018, up about 7 percent from 2017. White nationalist groups alone surged by nearly 50 percent last year, growing from 100 chapters in 2017 to 148 in 2018. But at the same time, Trump has energized black nationalist hate groups — typically antisemitic and anti-LGBT organizations — with an increase to 264 from 233 in 2017. ”

Tax time is usually an unhappy time for taxpayers, but a joyous time for government employees and the welfare class that gets more in “refunds” than it ever pays in taxes.
But this year, tax time is a depressing time for the taxmasters in the big blue states.
Blue states use high taxes to finance their frivolous spending. But this year, the money just isn’t there even as House and Senate lefties from big blue states tout new plans to soak the rich.
Senator Elizabeth Warren made headlines by building her 2020 campaign around a “wealth tax”.
Warren called it, “the ‘Ultra-Millionaire Tax” and claimed that it only “applies to that tippy top 0.1% – those with a net worth of over $50 million”. That’s convenient because the millionaire class warrior’s own estimated net worth tops out at around $10 million. When millionaires like Elizabeth Warren talk about taxing wealth, they mean the wealth of the millionaires who are wealthier than they are.
But over in Warren’s Taxachusetts, soaking the rich isn’t keeping the blue state model afloat.
Massachusetts experienced a January tax revenue shortfall of $195 million. That’s down 6% from 2018. And January is the cold, snowy month that is meant to account for 10% of the revenues for the year.
December was none too cheerful either.

Barbara and I were married in the Grand Synagogue in Rome in a ceremony that dates back to the fall of the Second Temple in Jerusalem. Refugees from the ancient center of the Jewish people came in significant numbers to Rome (many as Roman slaves; the story is famously illustrated on the Arch of Titus in the Forum), and to this day both the liturgy and the melodies of Jewish worship are believed to be those celebrated in the Jerusalem temple. Our marriage was in the old Spanish (or Sicilian) synagogue beneath the Grand Synagogue, which was built at the turn of the 20th century.
So I took great pleasure from the news that the Grand Synagogue has now been illuminated, thanks to a joint venture involving the Jewish Community, the electric company, and the city government. The Jewish Community is the city’s oldest, and it’s entirely appropriate that the city should single out the synagogue as one of its landmarks.

“Fresh Air” has been a staple of National Public Radio since 1985 and that has made host Terry Gross, 68, something of a celebrity. Gross is the author of All I did Was Ask: Conversations with Writers, Actors, Musicians and Artists and many of her interviews have become classics. On the other hand, with guests on the political side, her deft critical skills and background knowledge seem to vanish. Consider the February 19th “Fresh Air” appearance of Andrew McCabe.
The former FBI Deputy Director, Andrew McCabe, was there to promote his new book, The Threat: How the FBI Protects America in the Age of Terror and Trump. It wasn’t clear whether Gross had read the book, but she seemed tuned in to what the “right-wing media” said about it. For example, she cited President Trump and Sean Hannity of Fox News, both of whom used the word “coup.”
McCabe, who was fired from the FBI before he could conveniently retire, responded: “The fact that the president uses a word, or that right-wing media uses a word, or that Sean Hannity uses the same word, simply does not make it true. I mean, we know that many of the words that all three of those folks use are frequently false and, in my own experience, proven to be slanderous and incredibly hurtful. But nevertheless, I will answer it directly: To characterize those comments by Rod Rosenstein as a ‘coup’ is just utterly ridiculous.”

For over 15 years, I have been operating a small publishing house, which is Canada’s sole conservative and pro-Israel publishing house. We publish some of the greatest Canadian, American and international authors who support fundamental freedoms, liberty, justice and individual rights as opposed to group rights. Our authors generally oppose cultural and moral relativism, and for that reason they are generally shunned by leftist publishing houses who naively believe that all cultures are equal.
I am the son of a Holocaust survivor who lost his parents and then eight-year-old sister in the gas chambers of Auschwitz. When someone tells me that all cultures are equal, I ask if the person believes that the culture of Nazi Germany or of ISIS is equal to the culture of Canada or the United States. The person usually walks away at that point.
Recently, as part of my publishing duties and the need to see if there are any upcoming opportunities for our authors to speak, I came across an event near Toronto called the Festival of Literary Diversity. Looking at the photographs of the 20 or so authors speaking or appearing, I could see that almost all were brown or black and they were mostly women.

Trump Administration Wants California to Pay Back $2.5 Billion for High-Speed Rail
WASHINGTON — A day after California filed a lawsuit challenging President Trump’s emergency declaration on the border, the Transportation Department said it was exploring legal options to claw back $2.5 billion in federal funds it had already spent on the state’s high-speed rail network.
The Trump administration also said it was terminating a $929 million federal grant to the California High-Speed Rail Authority, according to a letter the Transportation Department sent Tuesday.
The $77 billion Los Angeles-to-San Francisco bullet train, which has been a goal of California transportation planners for decades, has long faced opposition from Mr. Trump and other Republicans. But on Tuesday morning, the president explicitly tied the rail line to efforts to stymie construction of the Mexican border wall.
“The failed Fast Train project in California, where the cost overruns are becoming world record setting, is hundreds of times more expensive than the desperately needed Wall!” Mr. Trump wrote on Twitter.

Prosecutors Charge Jussie Smollett With A Felony
The Cook County state’s attorney’s office officially charged “Empire” actor Jussie Smollett on Wednesday with felony disorderly conduct for allegedly filing a false police report.
“Felony criminal charges have been approved by @CookCountySAO against Jussie Smollett for Disorderly Conduct / Filing a False Police Report,” Chicago Police Chief Communications Officer Anthony Guglielmi tweeted. “Detectives will make contact with his legal team to negotiate a reasonable surrender for his arrest.”

The couple, both 26 and German-Moroccan dual nationals, tried to travel with their two young children to Syria in 2016 to join the Islamic State extremist group, but were captured in Turkey and deported back to Germany, Niesen said.
They were arrested at their home in the Raunheim area, southwest of Frankfurt in the state of Hesse. Overall, some 200 police officers raided 15 homes in Ruesselsheim, Biebesheim, and Raunheim in Hesse as well as one in Kerpen in North Rhine-Westphalia
The nationalities of the other suspects were given as either German or German-Moroccan. The 12 were between 22 and 33 years old and face charges of accessory to planning an attack in Germany, Niesen said.
Palestinians: “The Slap of the Century”

The US administration is now saying that it will announce its plan for peace in the Middle East, also known as the “Deal of the Century,” after the April 9 election in Israel . The unseen plan has already been rejected by Palestinian leaders, who continue to denounce it as a “conspiracy aimed at eliminating the Palestinian cause and rights.”
In light of the Palestinians’ vehement opposition to the “Deal of the Century,” it is already clear that the plan will not solve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Palestinian Authority (PA) President Mahmoud Abbas will hardly accept a plan that he has repeatedly referred to as a US “conspiracy” and the “Slap of the Century.” In one of his recent speeches, Abbas said: “We will not accept the ‘Deal of the Century’ and we will not accept a situation where the US is the sole broker in the peace process.”
Abbas has turned US President Donald Trump and his senior advisers into enemies of the Palestinians. Abbas and Palestinian Authority officials have been boycotting the US administration since December 2017, when Trump recognized Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. Abbas and his associates have since been using harsh language to condemn Trump’s senior advisers, especially US Ambassador David Friedman, and special envoys Jared Kushner and Jason Greenblatt. Abbas himself has called Friedman a “son of a dog.” Palestinian officials and media outlets regularly refer to Kushner, Friedman and Greenblatt as “Zionist extremists” and “settlers.”
