Bare Branches provides many traditional methods used to destroy female infants. Shove uncooked rice down their throats. Expose them. Poison them with oleander. Sell them to sex traffickers.

    In China the corpses of discarded females clogged waterways. New Agers advance witchcraft as a woman-friendly alternative to the Judeo-Christian tradition. In modern China, The Christian Science Monitor reports, witches stand at the ready to destroy female children. “In the suburbs of Canton, there are even witches and sorcerers who cheat and undermine birth control by holding feudalistic and superstitious ceremonies after killing girl babies, alleging that by so doing they can get the wretched parents to produce boy babies … a basin full of water is placed in the room where the mother is giving birth so that if the baby is a girl, it may be drowned immediately.”

    Australian Aborigines are one of the most remote populations on earth. Outside of Africa, Aborigines can claim the longest inhabitation of a landmass of any human population. Aborigines may have left Africa 75,000 years ago, and they have inhabited Australia for tens of thousands of years. They were not colonized by Europeans until 1788. Given their remoteness, the ancientness of their culture, and their relatively recent exposure to the evil West, many New Agers prize Aboriginals as exemplars of a pure humanity, uncorrupted by the West’s ills.

    Bare Branches offers a less romantic view. When Europeans arrived, it reports, they found one hundred fifty Aboriginal men for each one hundred Aboriginal women. Of course one does not accept this statistic without skepticism; colonizers had agendas. At the same time, it would be foolish to pretend that this number has no significance whatsoever. Given that traditional Aboriginal culture left few artifacts that we can study, no law books, figurative art, play scripts, etc, how can we know how Aboriginal men treated Aboriginal women before contact?

    Journalist Tony Thomas, in a 2013 Quadrant Online article, cites paleopathologist Stephen Webb’s 1995 Cambridge University Press book, Palaeopathology of Aboriginal Australians. Webb analyzed 4,500 individuals’ bones covering 50,000 years. “Webb found highly disproportionate rates of injuries and fractures to women’s skulls, with the injuries suggesting deliberate attack and often attacks from behind, perhaps in domestic squabbles.”

    The gruesome tale told by ancient bones is reinforced in first contact accounts. “We have seen some of these unfortunate beings with more scars upon their shorn heads, cut in every direction, than could be well distinguished or counted,” reported one European of Aboriginal women. There are many other quotes offering similar testimony. Traditional Aboriginal culture was no Noble Savage paradise for Aboriginal women. Thomas also quotes numerous early contact Europeans describing genocidal tribal warfare.

Strangely enough if I use one in Asia I have NPs. IMHO blocking of this site is occurring in the western locations. It is intermittent, the lag is dreadful and I eventually I give up due to life being too short,

    “Police chiefs should dramatically increase the use of controversial stop and search power to tackle rising gang violence, former Conservative leader Iain Duncan Smith demanded last night.

    Mr Duncan Smith’s comments came as his think-tank released a new report warning that drug dealers operating “with impunity” across the country are to blame for a “toxic cycle of serious violence”, the Mail reported.

    The 148-page document, which is likely to increase the pressure on the government to get a handle on violent crime, comes just days after the number of killings in London this year reached 100.

    It will put pressure on London Mayor Sadiq Khan, but also the Prime Minister, who as Home Secretary led moves to reduce the use of police search powers, warning that they were being misused against ethnic minorities, who are up to seven times more likely to be targeted.

    But, the report, by the Centre for Social Justice (CSJ), dismisses the “racial disparity” and calls for additional funding for community policing as well as a new order to allow convicted gang leaders to be stopped and searched when they are released from prison, even if there is no evidence against them.

    Among its finding the report details how a gun is fired illegally in London every six to nine hours, almost half of residents in the capital say there are “no-go areas” and that nearly three-quarters support police stop and searches.

    Mr Duncan Smith, the CSJ’s chairman and founder, told the Daily Mail: “Stop and search does two things. It tells the gangs they cannot move their guns and drugs around, making their lives much more difficult.

    “People claim, “it’s not fair”, but who are the communities affected by this the most? It’s the poorest communities in our country. It means shops close, people don’t go on the street, kids who want nothing to do with the gang feel threatened.”

    CSJ chief executive Andy Cook added: “If a gun were fired every day in rural Oxfordshire or leafy Surrey, every police resource in the country would be focused on bringing the violence to an end.””

    “In a polarizing viral video with almost 2 million views, the mother of a 3-year-old boy complains that her son cannot socialize with other kids in a public nursery, as only two out of 25 can speak German.

    In a Facebook video post filmed on August 15, the mother, Leen Kroetsch, takes aim at German politicians for what she claims is a botched immigration policy which is forcing her 3-year-old, who has no immigrant background, to adjust to an alien environment in the daycare center.

    Kroetsch claims that out of 25 children, her son’s group consists of only two without an immigrant background and who can speak German fluently, while the other 23 are unable to understand German at all. At the same time, these other children, according to Kroetsch, can easily communicate with each other while speaking in their mother tongues, which her son obviously does not speak.

    “My son must adapt to other children. This isn’t integration, dear politicians, integration is a bit different,” Kroetsch says.

    The woman also expressed outrage at the fact she had to win the right to send her boy to the daycare center in court, saying she almost lost her “existence” job as a result…”

    In a video published on the organization’s Facebook page, the Islamist organization enlightened “brothers” that voting is “haram,” that is forbidden according to Islam’s teachings. According to the video, any legislation not based on Allah’s teachings is prohibited.

    The organization also resorted to street activism, handing out leaflets in various parts of Sweden. The leaflets includes catchphrases such as “Western policy — No, thanks,” the tabloid daily Aftonbladet reported. The leaflets also inform that voting for anyone who represents “kufr” (unbelief) is forbidden.

    In a comment to Aftonbladet, Hizb ut-Tahrir claimed its goal was to “maintain Muslims’ Islamic identity” and to “protect them from Western and non-Islamic values.” According to the comment, the message of the ongoing campaign is that Muslims should be engaged in society through methods other than voting…”

  14. I think I posted before about this case of a 17yo girl abducted and gangraped in Morocco. But this article has a lot of detail, thus gives insight into the local rape- and gang culture. It shows cigarette burns, and also the (prison) tattoos the gang gave her. Apparently they’re insults, I also spotted a swastika.
    I did a quick search and in Amazigh culture it seems to be quite a common symbol there. It represents a bird, and thus “taking off of life”. It’s also known as a fire cross, which makes me wonder if there’s a connection with Zoroastrianism, after all the place was part of the Persian empire for a while.

  19. Lanny Davis Says He Was A Source For CNN’s Trump Tower Story

    Davis, Michael Cohen’s lawyer and spokesperson, said he also regrets lying about his involvement in the story on CNN last week.

    Attorney Lanny Davis says he was an anonymous source in a July CNN story that reported his client, Michael Cohen, had privately claimed that President Trump had advance knowledge of the infamous Trump Tower meeting between his son and Russians — contradicting Davis’s own words on CNN’s air last week.

    In the story, Cohen was reported to have claimed he had personally witnessed Donald Trump Jr. informing then-candidate Trump about the June 2016 meeting. Such a claim from Cohen would directly contradict Trump’s statements about his knowledge of the meeting, where Russians were set to offer dirt on Hillary Clinton.

    CNN’s July 26 story has come under fresh scrutiny in recent days after Davis acknowledged he had served as an anonymous source for multiple news outlets who were seeking to confirm the CNN article in the hours after it published. Davis has backed away from the story in recent days, telling the Washington Post that he is not certain if the claim is accurate, and that he could not independently corroborate it.

      Sounds like his defense of his client, Michael Cohen, should be compelling.

      Last week, Lanny Davis debunked a July 27 story by CNN that asserted that Cohen was willing to tell special counsel Robert Mueller that he took part in a meeting where Donald Trump, Jr. told his father about an offer to meet with a group of Russians who claimed to have dirt on Hillary Clinton. According to CNN’s anonymous sources, Cohen said Trump approved of the meeting, which was to be held at Trump Tower.

      Now it turns out the whole thing was a fabrication. On Wednesday, CNN’s Anderson Cooper asked Davis point blank, “So Michael Cohen does not have information that President Trump knew about the Trump Tower meeting with the Russians beforehand or even after?”

      “No, he does not,” Davis’s replied. “I think the reporting of the story got mixed up in the course of a criminal investigation.” Lest there be any doubt about his further involvement, Davis was hasty to add, “We were not the source of the story.”

      Now it turns out that that was Davis’s second lie.

    One of the most bizarre aspects of the investigations engulfing the Trump administration is the lawyers involved. Here we have a presidency on the line, and this is Trump’s team? The top legal spokesmen for each side are . . . Rudy Giuliani and Lanny Davis!?

    Up until this point, though, Giuliani was the Great Contradictor and Davis was merely a colorful character. Now that has changed in a big way.

    In a new interview with The Washington Post’s Tom Hamburger and Rosalind S. Helderman, Davis is backing off two massive claims he made in recent weeks, including that former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen has told people he witnessed President Donald Trump being informed of Donald Trump Jr.’s 2016 Trump Tower meeting with a Russian lawyer before it happened.

    “I should have been more clear – including with you – that I could not independently confirm what happened,” Davis said, adding: “I regret my error.”

    The invasive species might soon meets its mechanical match.

    Usually animal preservation is a passive effort, creating protected zones or taking other measures to protect plants and animals from humans. But scientists and students at the Polytechnic Institute in Massachusetts want to help protect coral reefs from an invasive species in a more aggressive fashion: They’re building a robot designed to autonomously hunt for and harvest lionfish threatening coral reefs.

    Lionfish have threatened coral reefs off American and Caribbean coasts for years. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration describes them as “flexible predators potentially capable of reducing the abundance of a wide variety of native reef-associated fishes.”

  24. Missouri becomes first state in U.S. to regulate use of the word ‘meat’

    On Tuesday, Missouri becomes the first state in the country to have a law on the books that prohibits food makers to use the word “meat” to refer to anything other than animal flesh.

    This takes aim at manufacturers of what has been dubbed fake or non-traditional meat.

    Clean meat — also known as lab-grown meat — is made of cultured animal tissue cells, while plant-based meat is generally from ingredients such as soy, tempeh and seitan.

    The state law forbids “misrepresenting a product as meat that is not derived from harvested production livestock or poultry.” Violators may be fined $1,000 and imprisoned for a year.

    • BREITBART – Theresa May Announces Support For South African ‘No Compensation’ Land Reform

      UK Prime Minister Theresa May has announced her backing of the controversial South African proposal to strip farmers of their land without compensation as long as the process is done in a “legal” manner.
      The UK PM’s support for the land reform expropriation without compensation, which is currently not possible and requires changes to the South African constitution to implement, came during her first trip to the African continent this week, Independent Online reports.

      In a statement on Tuesday, Mrs May said: “The UK has for some time now supported land reform. Land reform that is legal, that is transparent, that is generated through a democratic process. It’s an issue that I raised and discussed with President Ramaphosa when he was in London earlier this year. I’ll be talking about it with him later today.”

      Gerard Batten, leader of UKIP, slammed May’s comments saying: “Theresa May says she supports land reform in South Africa that is legal. Many countries in the world have taken actions which are ‘legal’, but that doesn’t make them morally right.”

      “It is reprehensible that Mrs May is standing shoulder to shoulder with the leader of a country who enacts these racist policies. This government has no credibility whatsoever when it speaks of protecting human rights if it looks the other way when our supposed international partners commit abuses.”

      “White farmers are having their land taken away, they are being attacked and murdered for no other reason than they are white. It should be the duty of international leaders to speak up against what is a form of ethnic cleansing, not condone it by mealy-mouthed references to legality,” he added.

      The controversial land reform issue was most recently highlighted by U.S. President Donald Trump who made headlines writing on Twitter: “I have asked Secretary of State @SecPompeo to closely study the South Africa land and farm seizures and expropriations and the large-scale killing of farmers.”

      While some expressed outrage at the tweet, far-left Economic Freedom Fighters political party leader Julius Malema, a strong advocate for land expropriation without compensation and a major figure in SA politics, confirmed Trump’s statement saying: “Through land expropriation, we are forcing white people to share the land which was gained through a crime against the humanity of black and African people.”

      “We must put it on record, unequivocally, that Donald ‘the pathological liar’ Trump, we are not scared of you and your USA or Western imperialist forces,” the EFF head added.

      Malema has been the subject of controversy himself in recent months.       Malema has also been accused of being involved in the brutal farm murders of white farmers in South Africa and was confronted about the matter on Twitter earlier this year giving the vague reply that he was “maybe, maybe not” involved.

      The farm murders, known in Afrikaans as Plaasmorde, have become an epidemic since 1998 and became the focus of the documentary Farmlands by Canadian political commentator Lauren Southern, which sparked renewed interest in the subject earlier in 2018.

    A bit ago, I wrote here that it is a huge advocacy mistake for global-warming alarmists to refuse debating their opponents. After all, if global catastrophe is really coming, one should accept any and every opportunity to persuade doubters.

    Now, global-warming public intellectuals have warned the media that if they allow skeptics to have a voice in stories, they will boycott giving comment. From the open letter appearing in the Guardian:

    Balance implies equal weight. But this then creates a false equivalence between an overwhelming scientific consensus and a lobby, heavily funded by vested interests, that exists simply to sow doubt to serve those interests. Yes, of course scientific consensus should be open to challenge — but with better science, not with spin and nonsense. We urgently need to move the debate on to how we address the causes and effects of dangerous climate change — because that’s where common sense demands our attention and efforts should be.

    Fringe voices will protest about “free speech”. No one should prevent them from expressing their views, whether held cynically or misguidedly. However, no one is obliged to provide them with a platform, much less to appear alongside them to give the misleading impression that there is something substantive to debate.

    This “We are too right to debate” variation is also folly. Pressuring media to only present the alarmists’ side of the case — which already happens much if not most of the time anyway — will not change minds. To the contrary, it will raise the acute suspicion that they are silencing dissenters because their their hypotheses are actually very debatable and they can’t stand the contest.

    For over a year, the Chinese government has withheld lab samples of a rapidly evolving influenza virus from the United States — specimens needed to develop vaccines and treatments, according to federal health officials.

    Despite persistent requests from government officials and research institutions, China has not provided samples of the dangerous virus, a type of bird flu called H7N9. In the past, such exchanges have been mostly routine under rules established by the World Health Organization.

    A new report is suggesting Hillary Clinton’s private email server was hacked by China.

    On Monday, the Daily Caller reported an unidentified Chinese firm was able to embed a code into the server, which forwarded a copy of all Clinton’s emails to the company.

    The data transfer reportedly happened in real time, allowing the firm to immediately receive all communications sent or received by Clinton.

    The report also accuses fired FBI official Peter Strzok of failing to investigate the issue despite reportedly having knowledge of the breach in 2015.

    The server was kept at Clinton’s home in upstate New York during her time as secretary of state.

That is exactly what happened in the southern African country of Zimbabwe. It seized the land of its white farmers. As a result, agricultural production collapsed, and Zimbabwe’s economy imploded, resulting in widespread malnutrition among its black majority population. Having learned nothing from this, South Africa now plans to follow in Zimbabwe’s footsteps, taking white-owned farms without compensation.

    But you would never know most of these essential facts if you visited CNN’s web site today. Its coverage of South African land seizures has been excruciatingly dishonest. In an article today, CNN serves as a cheerleader for the South Africa’s government, which objected to President Trump’s criticism of its plans to seize farmland held by white farmers.

    CNN sugarcoats what the South African government is planning to do, completely ignoring Zimbabwe’s disastrous experience, and omitting the fact that the planned seizures of the farms will be without compensation. It describes it euphemistically South Africa’s policy as “land reform” that “tries to reverse the uneven distribution of land” under which “white farmers still own the majority of land in the country.”

    That the meme “Facebook Jail” has become so popular, especially among conservatives, who make up at least 90% of its inmate population, is a sad commentary on the times we live in. Many who rely on this social media leviathan for exposure and, concomitantly, a living are finding themselves blocked, banned, or censored. Some users have even had their accounts disabled for no good reason and without explanation or appeal.

    Now a new site has emerged that seeks to swap the roles of jailer and jailed. Its name, Facecrook Jail, is a riff on the meme, and it not only documents instances of bias, censorship, and abuse by Facebook, but also lets users share their own experiences and grievances with the social media site.

    On Sunday, Rusty James, the owner of the site, told Conservative Firing Line the idea for the site came in May 2018 after his two favorite bloggers were suspended by Facebook in the same period of time.

    James said he trusted their work, adding that they often broke stories larger outlets wouldn’t touch.

    “It really hit home for me, seeing both of them silenced,” James said. “I started asking questions — just how many sites are being blocked?”

    The company, which operates in Washington DC and reportedly serves as a “front group” for the Chinese government, was allegedly able to obtain Clinton’s emails in real time thanks to code embedded in the server, which instantly created a “courtesy copy” of nearly all of the former state secretary’s emails and forwarded them to the hackers.

    Earlier in July, Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) also announced that the Intelligence Community Inspector General (ICIG) found that nearly all of Clinton’s emails were sent to a “foreign entity.”

    “When [the ICIG] did a very deep dive, they found in the actual metadata — the data which is at the header and footer of all the emails — that a copy, a ‘courtesy copy,’ was being sent to a third party and that third party was a known Chinese public company that was involved in collecting intelligence for China,” a former intelligence officer told the media outlet, adding that “something was embedded” in Clinton’s server.

    However, Nick Merrill, a spokesman for Hillary Clinton, told The Daily Caller that “the FBI spent thousands of hours investigating, and found no evidence of intrusion,” describing Hillary Clinton’s private email server affair as “the most combed over subject in modern American political history.”

    The Clinton email scandal erupted in March 2015, when The New York Times reported that the former secretary of state had used a personal account to conduct government business from 2009 to 2013, in violation of State Department rules.

    On July 10, 2015, the FBI launched a full investigation into “potential unauthorized transmission and storage of classified information” on former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s personal email server. The agency revealed that a substantial part of her correspondences contained classified information. Still, after a yearlong probe, FBI Director James Comey recommended no charges against Clinton on July 5, 2016.

    In late October 2016, Comey resumed the probe into Clinton’s emails after some of them had been found on a laptop owned by Anthony Weiner, the husband of top Clinton aide Huma Abedin. A few days later, Comey stated that the FBI had not changed its previous conclusions with regard to the Democratic presidential nominee.”

    Jonathan Moffa, who worked with controversial former FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, testified last Friday behind closed doors before the House Judiciary Committee and House Oversight Committee.

  47. Over 1 Million Download For 3D Guns

    As a federal court considers an order to continue blocking files for 3D printed guns by a political activist, those same files have been downloaded more than 1.5 million times from another website backed by pro-gun groups.

    The website, CodeIsFreeSpeech.com, has generated 1.491 million hits and 4.51 TB of data since launching July 31, said Craig DeLuz, of the Firearms Policy Coalition. He added the site averages more than 10,000 new visitors per week.

    The site hosts free downloadable code and instructions to make seven different firearms. The Firearms Policy Coalition along with other California-based gun rights groups launched the website as a way to counter efforts to close access to the DIY files. They argue public access to the files is a free speech issue rather than a gun rights issue.

    However, a federal court is scheduled to issue a ruling Monday to maintain an order blocking Defense Distributed from posting gun plans. The company’s founder Cody Wilson initially released plans for 3D printed guns for free on the Internet until the State Department abruptly halted the endeavor until reversing the decision this summer.

    Both the State Department and the Department of Justice said the federal government can do little to prevent the spread of the files domestically and instead plan to focus on controlling distribution overseas.

    A Chinese-owned company operating in the Washington, D.C., area hacked Hillary Clinton’s private server throughout her term as secretary of state and obtained nearly all her emails, two sources briefed on the matter told The Daily Caller News Foundation.

    The Chinese firm obtained Clinton’s emails in real time as she sent and received communications and documents through her personal server, according to the sources, who said the hacking was conducted as part of an intelligence operation.

    The Chinese wrote code that was embedded in the server, which was kept in Clinton’s residence in upstate New York. The code generated an instant “courtesy copy” for nearly all of her emails and forwarded them to the Chinese company, according to the sources.

    The Intelligence Community Inspector General (ICIG) found that virtually all of Clinton’s emails were sent to a “foreign entity,” Rep. Louie Gohmert, a Texas Republican, said at a July 12 House Committee on the Judiciary hearing. He did not reveal the entity’s identity, but said it was unrelated to Russia.   50. Whistleblower Exposes Key Player in FBI Russia Probe: “It was all a Set-up”

    Adam Lovinger, a former Defense Department analyst, never expected that what he stumbled on during his final months at the Pentagon would expose an integral player in the FBI’s handling of President Donald Trump’s campaign and alleged Russia collusion.

    Lovinger, a whistleblower, is now battling to save his career. The Pentagon suspended his top-secret security clearance May 1, 2017, when he exposed through an internal review that Stefan Halper, who was then an emeritus Cambridge professor, had received roughly $1 million in tax-payer funded money to write Defense Department foreign policy reports, his attorney Sean Bigley said. Before Lovinger’s clearance was suspended he had taken a detail to the National Security Council as senior director for strategy. He was only there for five months before he was recalled to the Pentagon, stripped of his prestigious White House detail, and ordered to perform bureaucratic make-work in a Pentagon annex Bigley calls “the land of misfit toys.” His security clearance was eventually revoked in March 2018, despite the Pentagon “refusing to turn over a single page of its purported evidence of Lovinger’s wrongdoing,” Bigley stated. Conservative watchdog group, Judicial Watch, recently filed a federal lawsuit against the Defense Department to obtain the withheld records.
