    • Barrage of rockets fired from Gaza at Israeli border communities

      Palestinian militants in the Gaza Strip fired a barrage of more than two dozen rockets towards southern Israeli communities early Tuesday morning, with two rounds of red alert sirens sending residents scurrying for shelter as tensions flared on the volatile border.

      The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said that the Iron Dome missile defense system intercepted most of the 25 mortar shells fired in the initial barrage. Other rockets fell inside Israeli territory, hitting at least two communities in Israel’s southern Eshkol regional council.

      One rocket landed in the empty yard of a local kindergarten just hours before children were due to arrive, a spokesman for the community said.

      Shortly after the initial salvo, a second round of rockets was launched from Gaza with two projectiles falling in open areas in Israeli territory causing no injuries or damage.

    • Gaza electricity cut off after rocket strikes supplying facility

      One of dozens of rockets launched Tuesday by terrorists from the Gaza Strip hit facilities supplying electricity to the Gaza Strip.

      Due to the damage to the facilities, three lines supplying electricity to the southern Gaza Strip were stopped.

      The electricity company said it would take several days to repair the equipment for a regular supply of electricity.

      Energy Minister Yuval Steinitz instructed the Israel Electricity Company (IEC) not to endanger its employees and to repair the problem only after a lull.

      Does Chinese Money Threaten US National Security?

      That this question even is being asked epitomizes the “intelligence gap” that once was stereotyped with the word “inscrutability”—yet, centuries later, continues to represent a massive stumbling block in terms of obstacles to Fair Trade and World Peace.

      Communist China’s incessant and counterproductive meddling in everything from the global economy, to Islamic terrorism, to imperative maritime choke-points, to deep (as it were) control of East Asia’s hydrological resources, all pose a catastrophic threat to any non-Chinese people.

      Just ask the latest recipients of “Mainland” largess (e.g., African single-mothers in Nigeria and Uganda) how all of that “Foreign Investment” from Beijing is working out. They’ve certainly been getting enough (not necessarily capital) “injections” of Chicom fluidity just lately.

      This one of the 20th Century’s enduring Big Lies™. Try precisely copying every move that you opponent does whilst playing chess. You will checkmate your opponent exactly one move AFTER they have removed your king from the board.

      Communist China’s look-see monkey-see-monkey-do copycat and knockoff mentality is almost as fatally toxic as the OFOC (One Family One Child) policy—which has shredded the Middle Kingdom’s genetic material like so much used Kleenex™ in a blender. Lob in all of the environmental damage and this Maoist lunacy will likely be that entire nation’s undoing.

      There is no way of adequately praising that whole, “starting from scratch” meghilla. If you don’t begin at the ground floor, there’s a lot of foundational underpinnings that someone in the executive penthouse suite will never see, much less understand.

      Effectively, Red China is attempting to lazily parachute in on the long-term expertise of Western technological innovation (just as it has done in so many other industrial sectors). As Communist Russia learned the hard way, magically appearing on the rooftop of authentic scientific brilliance isn’t exactly a best-case strategy—nor is there much in the way of an assured safe landing space. The stiff winds of brisk, free-market enterprise make that pinpoint, rooftop touchdown a risky proposition, at best.

      You cannot steal “innovation”.

      Curiously enough, “innovation” has to be [gasp!] innovated. As the late comedic genius, Robin Williams, was known to say, “Reality. What a concept!” To become fluent in this entire field of technological endeavor, please consider reading books one and three in the superb Disruptive Innovation series by Harvard Business School Professor Clayton Christensen.

      He explains how it was, essentially, impossible for IBM (even at the pinnacle of its million-dollar-mainframe powers) to ever create the desktop or laptop computer. As another example, Christensen documents how West Coast-based tech giant, Hewlett–Packard, had to set up manufacturing in East Coast Florida, just so the PARC (Palo Alto Research Center) eggheads wouldn’t turn one of the world’s very first inkjet printers back into one of their more familiar (and costlier) laser printer products.

      Be it hydraulics on heavy construction equipment or the ability to provide relatively low-cost walk-in, outpatient coronary stent treatments, these two inexpensive books comprehensively address some of the most breathtakingly inventive and (almost as often) disruptive types of technology.

      The central point being that only through the (oft-repeated) Process of Trial and Error© (Betamax™, anyone?) does a given person, race or culture acquire truely innovative skills, especially disruptively innovative abilities.

      China isn’t anywhere near close to traversing even a centimeter of this exceptionally arduous and challenging psycho-intellectual terrain (it requires more than just that famous high Asian IQ to make the passage). I have listened to accounts of an American professor requesting lecture notes as a part of class assignments, only to find that a majority of the “lecture notes” actually were verbatim transcriptions of his entire delivery. No original thought (i.e., innovative synthesis) required, just abject parroting, thankyouverymuch.

      Chappell even more appropriately points out China’s recent backdoor attempt at acquiring Aixtron—locally known as (once-Genus), now Eugenus, Inc.—a thin film, specialty coatings capital equipment manufacturer in Silicon Valley. How special? How thin, might you ask?

      Known as ALD (Atomic Layer Deposition), it is a critical emerging technology for moving semiconductor bulk-device (e.g., CPU microprocessors or server processors like Intel’s Xeon E5 v4 MPU which, with its insane billion-plus transistors per device, and +2 GHz clock speed, selling for $13,000 per chip) fabrication though its current transition between the 16–11 nanometer nodes. Traditional silicon dioxide experiences dielectric (insulative) breakdown or failure at this ultra-thin layer configuration. Only the newer “High-K” ALD films (e.g., Hafnium or Zirconium oxides) are able to perform at such single-atom geometries.

      Why do I know all of this weird sh!t? Because I worked in their R&D group!

      Now, let’s dial up the Wayback Machine™, Professor Peabody. YEARS ago the Chicoms were attempting to acquire Tinsley Laboratories. Never heard of them, right? How could they be very important, eh?

      At one point, Tinsley was one of the only available ultra-large optics fabrication and inspection facilities in the entire USA. Since their staff and NASA personnel did not have the appropriate security clearances, they were not admitted to an Air Force storage facility where the second-source Hubble Space Telescope mirror was kept.

      And—because of this inability to compare both readily available space telescope mirrors—that is why the US ended up spending needless extra bazillions of dollars to install corrective optics in orbit. The usual inspection and switch of primary optics would probably have been less than a million dollars. Incidentally, as a measure of its uniformity, if you expanded the Hubble mirror to the size of continental America, the highest protuberance would stand at around a thousand feet tall.

      Let’s all be thankful that (apparently) back in 2015, California-based Spectra-Physics stepped in as the white knight and bought out Tinsely Labs. Now, does anyone desire a half-hour lecture on the mission-critical role of near-instantaneous, electro-optic sorting and acquisition of real-time, combat environment (i.e., dogfight or “furball”), SIGINT (Signals Intelligence)?

      Please, don’t all speak up at once.

      All of this is what Red China’s attempted purchases of Tinsley, then Aixtron (much less Lattice or totally un-findable A-Top Tech), were really about. These were unblushing, blatant attempts by Beijing to take control of pivotal Western technologies that future generations of the very “smartest” weapons (WMD or not) will be utterly reliant upon.

      We have knowingly and idiotically shown these supremacist commies how to build some of the world’s most advanced semiconductor devices (that the USA spent a trillion dollars developing). Now, our ever-rapacious 1% is mulling over how to sell every last American soul down the river by delivering (to our self-declared enemies) priceless, hard-won—try a protracted, frivolous European lawsuit that, basically, killed Genus’ long and proficient head-start in bringing ALD to market—top-drawer, industrial solid-state manufacturing equipment.

      “What could possibly go wrong?” is so inadequate to describe this situation. The 1% are out of control and need a serious spanking. To Chappell’s immense credit, he brought to light CIFUS (Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States) and their catastrophic shortage of resources and too-narrow bandwidth.

      Why do I see a feeble ray of hope that Trump might look into this?

          Umm if you wander off by actually thinking about the points you miss much of the lecture and pay the price in exams where they ask questions about the lectures. I see his point and actually agree with it(although not his ludicrous tactic). Universities now are degree machines where passing exams by giving the examiner what he/she wants is the WTG. Any original thought or disagreement with the views of the lecturer(no matter how valid they may be…I blew a HD in an exam by daring to quote from a recent journal which disproved his views) is mark suicide.
          Ask yourself why are there so few geniuses now compared to those in the 19th century? Q/A exams select against creative minds who do not answer questions but ask them. These people(extremely rare in Asians) never achieve top place and never gain the access to chairs now. Most such are sterile administrators. Einstein did not work in a patent office for the hell of it. he did so as he had no choice. Now he would be flat out in getting even a lowly ranked journal to pass his work and if it was heretical: no chance. Enough for now.

    DOMESTIC. Joakim Lamotte has visited the small town of Staffanstorp in Skåne, which is now a place filled with violence and insecurity. Thus, in each case, several of the Swedes describe the city. Women tell Lamotte about how they are sexually harassed, “dismissed” and have their dogs rocked.

    This time he has visited Staffanstorp in southwestern Skåne, which, for example, was hit by a noticeable knife case a few weeks ago where a 16-year-old boy suffered serious damage. A single member from Afghanistan was then arrested for the deceased.

    “They are threatening through my sons to blow me that they are going to fuck me. They have bullied my youngest son, says a woman in Joakim Lamottes live broadcast last yesterday.

    Another woman explains how home services are afraid to go to the town square in the evening, as “gangs” gather there.

    A younger woman then tells how she was sexually harassed and punched on her former school every day.

    – They locked me in the toilet and hit me with bands. They punched and joked on me. Everything. It happened every day.

    Even outdoors she gets attacked.

    “Suddenly they can go forward and take my breasts. When I banged the guy, the whole family came and told me I’m a little horny that I’m going to shut up. When I’m out with my dogs, they throw stones on the dogs, she continues, pointing out that she is afraid of what will happen to her siblings and cousins ??in the future.

    Another woman tells her how she was “dismissed” by a gang of 15 people.

    A mother also explains that the affected children urge their parents not to do anything, then the gang will be revenge on the children.

    “You as a parent do not dare say so?” Wonder Joakim Lamotte.

    “No,” replied the mother. I do not. Then my son gets on my head.

    But during the live broadcast, a lawyer suddenly comes across and denies this whole horror image of Staffanstorp. He has had it “how quiet” during the spring. The lawyer further claims that Joakim Lamottes website is “terrible” to read. According to the lawyer, it is completely wrong to contribute to “hot” in society and Lamotte does not make any use of Stafffanstorp, he says in the face of the journalist.

    But then the younger woman who became sexually harassed and got her dogs rocked upset and confronted the lawyer with hard words. She asks if he is joking and wondering why he is blind to reality. According to her, it is impossible to deny all testimonies that tell about the many and serious problems in the city.

I may be wrong, this may be wishful thinking but the ancestors of the Europeans conquered the entire world and then gave it up, for the most part willingly. One of the articles even called on the Gulf States to forego some of their own commercial interests and pledge to impose sanctions on European companies that cooperate with Iran, in order to pressure Europe to change its policy vis-à-vis the nuclear agreement.

But not take more of their young unemployed, as we already have too many,” he added.

    In 2015 and 2016 alone, over 2.5 million people applied for asylum in the European Union, which later became known as the European Migrant Crisis.     Compared to its neighbor Sweden which took in some of the highest numbers of asylum seekers per capita in all of the EU, Denmark’s contribution has been fairly moderate, only taking in 21,000 people in the peak year of 2015.       Until this corruption is halted, there will be no abatement of “migration” from the MENA region. Concomitantly—and this a point that very few have, evidently, yet to perceive—the EU (and America) are importing hundreds-of-thousands of relatively well-seasoned players from some of this planets cultures.

      This isn’t a petty little, “what could possibly go wrong?”, moment. Countless numbers of non-assimilating foreigners are flooding our shores and, importing with them, some of the most vile, corrupt, criminal, violence, and practices imaginable. We are witnessing a potentially irreversible pivot point for all of Western Civilization and its continued survival.

      Western moral compasses are having their needles demagnetized by a truly strange combination of enemies. Between academic brainwashing, MSM desensitization or Hollywierd’s increasingly bizarre chemo-sexual casbah, countless gullies are being eroded into the West’s moral landscape. Now, plug in the insanely corroding influence that Islam has upon Constitutional and Human Rights, then sit right back and watch everything that twenty centuries of our ancestors struggled to build wash straight out to sea.

      Again, it seems that, only now, is Europe awakening to the fact that MENA corruption remains a, near-permanent, “Root Cause” of this immigration invasion. It is every bit as much of an economic invasion as it is mass-sexual predation, and brute-force ideological conversion (an Islamic specialty).

      Either fix the corruption problem—targeted assassinations spring to mind—or be part of perpetuating it. Even just turning a blind eye to corruption is a way of rewarding it. Engaging in corruption has to be physically (not just financially) painful before people will abandon these hyper-destructive practices. When entire dynasties of these warlords are jailed and executed, perhaps then their partners in crime will “prairie-dog” (i.e., get up on their hind legs and look around) as part of deciding whether or not they would actually rather live.

      Once more, if corruption is not fought, tooth-and-nail, it is more often being tolerated and, thereby, permitted to continue. I have seen first-hand the effect of global corruption. An example:

      Many pension funds for public workers already owe far more in retirement benefits than they have in the bank, and the problem will only grow worse if the economy slows down, according to a report released last week.

      Governments have been ramping up contributions to the funds to help cover the promises they’ve made to retirees, but that leaves less money to spend on schools, police, parks and other core government services.

      Another option is reducing pension benefits. A plan to do that in Kentucky led to teacher walkouts earlier this year.

    China is aggressively developing its next generation of nuclear weapons, conducting an average of five tests a month to simulate nuclear blasts, according to a major Chinese weapons research institute.

    Its number of simulated tests has in recent years outpaced that of the United States, which conducts them less than once a month on average.

    Between September 2014 and last December, China carried out around 200 laboratory experiments to simulate the extreme physics of a nuclear blast, the China Academy of Engineering Physics reported in a document released by the government earlier this year and reviewed by the South China Morning Post this month.

    In comparison, the US carried out only 50 such tests between 2012 and 2017 – or about 10 a year – according to the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory.

    On the evening of April 21, a small drone reportedly triggered gunfire in the vicinity of the royal palace when it entered an off-limits zone. According to Russian state outlet RT, “Palace guards targeted a rogue drone which came too close to the king’s residence, some feared a terrorist attack or even an unfolding ‘coup.’”

    Iran’s state-run Press TV added to these reports that “Mohammed al-Mas’ari, the secretary-general of the Islamic Revival Party, citing reliable sources, said in a recent interview with Lebanon’s al-Mayadeen TV that bin Salman was hit by bullets during the late April attack.” Al-Mas’ari, PressTV claimed, said the crown prince soon plans to appear before international media to deny reports of a coup.

    Al-Massari is a Saudi Arabian dissident and Saudi opposition figure who is exiled from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He is a member of the Party for Islamic Renewal (PIR), which states that it “rejects intellectual terror, supports the freedom of thought and believes in dialogue based on argument and evidence.” The “Islamic Revival Party” is an unrelated Tajik group; there is no evidence Al-Massari is a member.

    No media outlets unrelated to Iran have reported that MBS was shot. The Iranian regime has reported dubious and false claims in the past related to Saudi Arabia, most notably a PressTV report claiming that Saudi King Salman financed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s 2015 reelection campaign.

    Press TV suggested the shooting at the palace was in response to MBS’s “self-promoting campaign at home, which saw hundreds of royals and businessmen detained and tortured. Most of them were later released after reaching financial settlement deals with the kingdom.”

    The anti-Saudi publication then went on to suggest that MBS carried out the arrests in the kingdom to eradicate any challenges to his power, writing, “Perhaps the strangest thing about this uprising against the wealthy and the powerful, though, is that it is coming from above, from a 32-year-old who is rebelling against his own class in the hopes of ultimately being the last man standing.”

    Press TV then took a jab at MBS for “warming” relations with Israel and suggested the Saudi crown prince has taken an “anti-Palestinian stance,” which “has in [sic] several occasions offended the Muslim world.”

    Another Iranian state-run publication, the newspaper Kayhan – not to be confused with the pro-Western, anti-Iranian regime publication with the same name in London, England – claimed “at least two bullets have hit bin Salman in April 21 clashes in Riyadh and it is even possible that he is dead.”

    However, as other publications have noted, Iranian media took the lead with circulating rumors that MBS had been killed amid his silence and absence from the public eye for several weeks.

    To quell suspicions, the Saudi Royal family released a photograph of MBS chairing a meeting of the Council for Economic and Development Affairs.

    “Credible” Saudi sources reportedly “confirmed” to the Daily Pakistan Global that MBS was safe and spending the Ramadan holiday in Egypt with his family on special invitation from Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi. They reportedly added that leaders of Abu Dhabi and Bahrain were also present with MBS in Egypt.

    MBS was on a world tour shortly before the April 21 incident occurred and an ongoing proxy war between Iran and Saudi Arabia in Yemen has intensified in recent months, and particularly since bin Salman developed a larger role in running the defense of the nation.

    Press TV added in its article on the shooting rumors that “the deadly Saudi campaign against Yemen has damaged bin Salman’s image both internationally and regionally.”

    MBS urged the United States to back out of the Iran nuclear deal during his visit to the country last month, asserting that Riyadh will pursue nuclear weapons development if Iran possesses a nuclear bomb. During that same interview with CBS where he made that statement, MBS reiterated his belief that Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei is “very much like Hitler.””

    Volkert van der Graaf was convicted of murder for gunning down Fortuyn on May 6, 2002, and sentenced to 18 years in prison. He was released in 2014 after serving two-thirds of his sentence but ordered to report every six weeks to a parole officer.

    Tuesday’s written ruling says that the reporting order is no longer justified. Van der Graaf, an animal rights activist, applied to have the reporting order removed, saying he wanted to move overseas.

    Fortuyn, an outspoken academic, shook up the Netherlands with his anti-immigrant rhetoric. He was hated by many on the left but popular among blue-collar Dutch.

    POPULIST POLITICIAN’S KILLER CAN EMIGRATE, COURT RULES

    Volkert van der Graaf, the man who murdered populist politician Pim Fortuyn in 2002, no longer has to report to the probation service every six weeks, the court in The Hague ruled on Tuesday. Van der Graaf filed summary proceedings asking the court to lift this obligation so that he can emigrate abroad, NU.nl reports.

    Van der Graaf was sentenced to 18 years in prison for Fortuyn’s murder. After serving two thirds of his sentence, he was conditionally released in 2014. One of the conditions of his release was that he report to the probation service on a regular basis.

    During a hearing earlier this month, it became clear that the Netherlands institute for forensic psychiatry and psychology NIFP and the probation service no longer considered the obligation to report necessary. According to the NIFP, there is no sign that Van der Graaf suffers from a psychological disorder and he therefore doesn’t need treatment or counseling. As the risk of him repeating his crime is very small, the obligation that he reports to the probation service is also unnecessary, according to the institute.

    The Public Prosecutor was against the lifting of this obligation, because it wants to continue to keep an eye on Van der Graaf’s development. “Every six months we look at the situation and we are quite prepared to think along, but Van der Graaf has always been difficult when it comes to the probation service and is still so”, Cecile Bitter, lawyer for the Dutch State, said in court, according to the newspaper. According to her, “there has never been anyone more difficult”.

Van der Graaf previously successfully fought against a number of other conditions for his release. The court previously lifted an area ban and mandatory psychiatric treatment.

    Pim Fortuyn’s family hopes that Van der Graaf will leave the Netherlands soon. “The family has taken note of the verdict and welcomes Van der Gaaf”s early and actual emigration”, lawyer Richard van der Weide said on behalf of the family, according to NU.nl. “We are still investigating how it can legally be achieved that he actually leaves the country and does not return. The family would prefer to never be confronted with the person Van der Graaf again.”

    ABC says it’s cancelling “Roseanne” following an “abhorrent” tweet from the show’s star.

    ABC Entertainment President Channing Dungey announced Tuesday: “Roseanne’s Twitter statement is abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our values, and we have decided to cancel her show.”

    The decision came hours after star Roseanne Barr drew sharp condemnation for a tweet on former Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett, whom she compared to a child of “The Planet of the Apes” and the Muslim Brotherhood.

        and so I try to get an updated page by "testing" -- ---numbering the tests is only to avoid the "duplicate comment" messages by wordpress or the firewall ---

        • I also get lots of disappeared posts. I clear and press "Return", then it reloads without videos.
          Walls and fences of all sorts, I love. Iron Domes are my favorite, though.

        • When that happens to me I reload the page one or two times, the post normally appears when I do that.

      With its protests and revolutionary public rallies, the Alternative for Sweden (AfS) party is gaining a lot of attention. The new party, founded by Gustav Kasselstrand in March this year, has a hard-line stance on migration and Islam.

      On Saturday the AfS organised a meeting in Stockholm. At the Stureplan public square, chairman Gustav Kasselstrand and eight party members spoke to the public, Sweden’s Fria Tider reports.

      Hahne adds that “Islam does not belong in Sweden” and continues his powerful speech about how Islamic migration changed Sweden’s culture and demography:

      “We have to stop smoking with radical Islamists! The Swedish state can no longer protect us. They endanger us with their naive stance. According to Säpo [Sweden’s security agency], there are at least 2,000 violent Islamists in Sweden!”

      “Not long ago, we were one of the world’s best countries. We were known for being a safe and prosperous society (…) But now Sweden is more famous for rape and exporting terror! Abroad we are a horrific example! And politicians and the media continue to shut us up because immigration is destroying our society!”

      “It’s a population replacement that took place behind the backs of the Swedes,” he says, pointing out that Swedes could soon be a minority.

      Sweden’s general election is on 9 September this year. Two months ago, Alternative for Sweden was already supported by almost 2% of voters.

    Can this really be “your country,” which considers you so immature that it denies you the ability to judge as an adult, and must keep you away from certain “contents?

    On May 10th, Tom Steyer was shouted down at his own town hall for pointing out that President Trump hasn’t actually killed millions of people.

    Steyer was in Cedar Rapids on the road with his Need to Impeach tour. The billionaire had come to Iowa to boost his political standing by going further to the extreme than the Democrat leadership. Rep. Pelosi, Rep. Schiff and other top Dems had been warning against impeachment messaging. Steyer embraced it.

    But hating Trump, like every other leftist extreme viewpoint, has no actual stopping point.

    A woman in the audience asked, “What’s the difference between him and Hitler?” “Hitler ended up killing millions and millions of people,” the leftist billionaire noted in his reply. “Mr. Trump has shown a disregard for our law… but he hasn’t killed millions of people.”

    And the audience swiftly shouted him down for stating the obvious.

    The trouble with trying to outleft the left is that there’s always someone more extreme than you are. Even if you want to impeach Trump, you’ll be deemed a sellout for not calling for his assassination.

    It’s not enough to compare Trump to Hitler, as Steyer did, you have to insist he’s every bit as bad as Adolf.

    • This is why things are going to turn violent, the Dems have pushed the idea that Trump is the ultimate evil and that conservatives are almost as bad for so long there is no way they can stop their people from turning violent. Once they start the physical attacks and the Dem politicians in charge of large cities and State Governments block any punishment of the violent Dems we will have to choice but to fight back in self defense.

That calls for a look at José Vasconcelos (1882-1959), a major figure in Mexican history and influential to this day.

    Vasconcelos served as rector of the National University of Mexico, and president Alvaro Obregon appointed him as minister of public education from 1921-24. The next year he authored The Cosmic Race, an essay contending that “the mixed race that inhabits the Ibero-American continent,” is destined to become “the first synthetic race of the earth,” surpassing the “four racial trunks: the Black, the Indian, the Mongol, and the White.”

    “The basis of white civilization is fuel,” explains the erudite Vasconcelos, who ran for president of Mexico in 1929. “It served as a protection against the long winters. Then, it was discovered that its power could be used not only for warmth, but also for work; and the motor was born.” On the other hand, “the mestizo, the Indian, and even the Black are superior to the White in a countless number of properly spiritual capacities.”

    According to Vasconcellos, who was also an attorney, “no race returns. Each one states its mission, accomplishes it, and passes away.” Therefore, “it will be seen immediately that we belong to tomorrow, while the Anglo-Saxons are gradually becoming more a part of yesterday.”
