  1. FEC hit with lawsuit over ignoring civil complaint accusing Clinton, DNC in election scheme

EXCLUSIVE: The Hillary Clinton Campaign and the Democratic National Committee allegedly used state chapters as strawmen to launder as much as $84 million in an effort to circumvent campaign donation limits, and the Federal Election Commission ignored complaints exposing the practice, a lawsuit filed Monday claims.

The Committee to Defend the President (CDP), a political action committee formally known as Stop Hillary PAC, filed its complaint with the FEC in December 2017 with the claims that the Hillary Victory Fund (HVF) solicited cash from big-name donors, and allegedly sent that money through state chapters and back to the DNC before ending up with the Clinton campaign.

As first reported by Fox News at the time, the CDP alleges in its complaint that about $84 million was funneled illegally from the DNC through state party chapters and back into the war chest of the Clinton campaign. The political action committee claims that even though the FEC acknowledged receipt of the complaint and claimed that an investigation would be conducted, the needle has barely moved.

  2. A new bombshell lawsuit from a pro-Trump political group claims Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign colluded with the Democratic National Committee to launder upwards of $84 million in funds to skirt federal donation limits.

According to Fox News, the Committee to Defend the President filed an official complaint with the Federal Election Commission; claiming the Hillary Victory Fund “solicited cash” from high-powered donors and illegally “funneled” those funds through state chapters and then back to the DNC.

“The Clinton machine has escaped accountability for its illegal practices for far too long,” Ted Harvey, CDP chairman, told Fox News. “After months of review, the FEC has refused to address the Clintons’ $84 million money laundering scheme that violated several campaign finance laws.”

  3. Embattled Trump lawyer Michael Cohen’s mysterious third client was revealed Monday as Fox News host Sean Hannity.

Cohen was ordered to appear in court by Judge Kimba Wood and cough up Hannity’s name as part of the investigation into $130,000 in hush money he paid to porn star Stormy Daniels, who had an alleged affair with President Trump in 2006.

Cohen fought against having to reveal the confidential list — all of three clients — as part of a bid to block the feds from reviewing documents that could be protected under attorney-client privilege.

  4. Neighbours vow to block burglar’s £100,000 funeral procession from passing home of pensioner who stabbed him to death
Vigilantes said they would leave several cars at an entrance to the road in Hither Green to stop the procession
Henry Vincent’s family planning a £100,000 ‘funeral of all funerals’ that would have past home where he died
Jacob Rees-Mogg waded into the row, calling it ‘odd’ they’d would want to pass home ‘but it is a free country’
Vincent was stabbed to death during a botched burglary at the house of pensioner Richard Osborn-Brooks

Question: why did the kid have to resort to robbery if his family has an extra 100,000 pounds to spend on his funeral? Where did the money come from?

    • Question: why did the kid have to resort to robbery if his family has an extra 100,000 pounds to spend on his funeral? Where did the money come from?

First off, the perp, career criminal Henry Vincent (at 37 years-old) was hardly a “kid”. Evidently, he had a lengthy arrest record.

As to the money, it seems as though all you’d need to do is pass the hat in a lot of that neighborhood and it seems as though you’d come up with the quid. If not, the lunatic sympathies being expressed for this hardened criminal guarantee that simple Crowd Funding could scour up £100k.

  5. WaPo-The Washington Post wins 2 Pulitzer Prizes for reporting on Russian interference and Alabama Senate race

The Washington Post was awarded two Pulitzer Prizes on Monday, capturing journalism’s most prestigious honor for its investigation of Russian interference in the 2016 election

[…]The Post’s revelations about Russia, including contacts between Russian figures and President Trump’s associates and advisers, helped set the stage for the special counsel’s ongoing investigation of the administration. […]

[…]The Post’s prize-winning entries involved multiple journalists. The Russia package included 10 stories by 11 reporters,[…]

“These days journalists need a soul and a spine, and the journalists who worked on these had both,” said Martin Baron, The Post’s executive editor. “They had a soul in seeking and finding the truth, and they had a spine in that they overcame deceit, denial, obstruction and threats. They stood strong throughout that.”

[…]The newspaper also published a lengthy account of President Barack Obama’s struggle to retaliate against Russian President Vladimir Putin’s interference during the 2016 campaign, and explored Trump’s unwillingness to confront the issue of Russian election interference.

[…]Throughout it all, Trump denounced The Post’s and Times’s reporting about Russia as “fake news.”

[…]The New York Times won three awards.

The Times’s Pulitzers had an unusual footnote: reporter Michael Schmidt was a prominent contributor to both the paper’s Russia coverage and its harassment stories, earning him a piece of two Pulitzers in one year —

  6. Lisa H Barsoomian, a US Attorney that graduated from Georgetown Law, she’s a protégé of James Comey and Robert Muller

Barsoomian with her boss R Craig Lawrence represented Bill Clinton in 1998

Lawrence also represented: Robert Muller three times James Comey five times Barack Obama 45 times Kathleen Sebelius 56 times Bill Clinton 40 times and Hillary Clinton 17 times between 1998 and 2017

Barsoomian herself represented the FBI at least five times

You may be saying to yourself, okay who cares, who cares about the work history of this Barsoomian woman?

    Apparently, someone does.

BECAUSE : Someone out there cares so much that they’ve “purged” all Barsoomian court documents for her Clinton representation in Hamburg vs. Clinton in 1998 and its appeal in 1999 from the DC District and Appeals court dockets (?) Someone out there cares so much that the internet has been “purged” of all information pertaining to Barsoomian. Historically this indicates that the individual is a protected CIA operative.

Additionally Lisa Barsoomian has specialized in opposing Freedom of Information Act requests on behalf of the intelligence community

And although Barsoomian has been involved in hundreds of cases representing the DC Office of the US Attorney her email address is Lisa Barsoomian at NIH gov.

The NIH stands for National Institutes of Health. This is a tactic routinely used by the CIA to protect an operative by using another government organization to shield their activities. It’s a cover, so big deal right, I mean what does one more attorney with ties to the US intelligence community really matter?

It deals with Trump and his recent tariffs on Chinese steel and aluminum imports, the border wall, DACA, everything coming out of California, the Uniparty unrelenting opposition to President Trump, the Clapper leaks, the Comey leaks, Attorney General Jeff Sessions recusal and subsequent 14 month nap with occasional forays into the marijuana legalization mix……. and last but not least Muller’s never-ending investigation into collusion between the Trump team and the Russians.

Why does Barsoomian, CIA operative, merit any mention?

BECAUSE She is Assistant Attorney General Rod Rosenstein’s WIFE! That’s why.

Barsoomian’s loyalties are tainted. How could this not have influenced Rosenstein? This clearly violates the appearance of impropriety attorney’s rules?

Both owe their careers as US attorneys to Muller, Obama, Bush, and the Clintons.

    Impartiality? That’s impossible.

Rod Rosenstein has no business involving himself in the Hillary Clinton-DNC funded Steel dossier, and the ongoing Russia investigation.

Much less the selection of his mentor and his wife’s mentor Robert Muller as Special Counsel.

The rules of ethics “required his recusal.”

But there was no such recusal.

    Verified who she is:

    • Excellent, as usual. This “trade war” may be one of the only windows there is to destabilize Communist China enough as part of softening up things for hitting North Korea. At least the timeline for this synchronizes a lot better than other options.

Basically, it’s the old, “Hey, kid. Your shoelace is untied.” routine. While an economically worried Beijing is distractedly looking down, we drop by Pyongyang for some festivities.

Regardless, some arm-twisting is in order. Thank goodness Trump is in place to provide a little of that torsion. A final question:

Can anybody imaging Hillary dragging Red China (or, for that matter, any other trading partner) to the bargaining table in the same manner that Trump has?

      • If we can keep the libs from screaming too loudly by the time we move on Kim China will be willing to let us do anything to stabilize their economy. It takes someone who knows business to know how to use trade as a weapon. The libs locked into Keynesian economics could never carry this off.

  7. WASHINGTON — The Obama administration in its final year in office spent a record $36.2 million on legal costs defending its refusal to turn over federal records under the Freedom of Information Act, according to an Associated Press analysis of new U.S. data that also showed poor performance in other categories measuring transparency in government.

  8. Biden Admits Post-9/11 Meeting With Hijacker’s Financier
We Are Change group questions Senator on details of confab with Pakistani general

    Tuesday, June 5, 2007

Presidential candidate Senator Joe Biden admitted meeting with the chief financier of the 9/11 hijackers in the days after September 11 after being confronted by We Are Change founder Luke Rudkowski in the press room following Sunday’s Democratic debate in New Hampshire.

According to the FBI and as confirmed by various news reports at the time, Pakistani ISI General Mahmoud Ahmad instructed Omar Saeed Sheikh, the alleged assassin of Daniel Pearl, to wire $100,000 to alleged lead hijacker Mohammed Atta in the summer of 2001.

Arriving exactly one week before 9/11, the general met with Pentagon, White House National Security Council and CIA officials, including George Tenet and Marc Grossman, then U.S. Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs.

On the very morning of 9/11, Ahmad was at a breakfast meeting on Capitol Hill hosted by Senator Bob Graham and Rep. Porter Goss, the chairmen of the Senate and House Intelligence committees.

Two days after the attack on the twin towers and the Pentagon, on September 13th, Senator Joseph Biden, Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, met with the ISI chief.

Note: not new, but I had not been aware of this before…

    • Absolutely ESSENTIAL reading!
      Omniscient Twitterati are outrageous frauds.

Well-read (middle-age or older) people with all kinds of life experiences have worthy insights, professional expertise to share. News organizations have laid off investigative reporters; some floaters have found the new media. They research, present, exchange, entertain. Fine, great.

But the scoundrels sail off into the wild blue yonder. The headline-hyped crime du jour will prompt conspiracies to addict the susceptible. Hypotheses are reinforced with layers of obscure, irrelevant garbage data.

Pictures and videos with red arrows and timers. Numbers and acronyms with vaguely familiar-sounding jargon. So-&-so looks like so-&-so, 15 years ago.

Right? It’s right before your eyes!

You always feel better for having checked it out. A gruesome atrocity: you’re fed a positive spin:

This is why we KNOW the children could NOT have been burnt alive.

Satisfied, you’re on top of it. No nightmares of children screaming in agony. Twitter-god keeps you floating on a layer of air.

Till you discover proof-positive that the children were, in fact, burnt alive. One scorched kid survived, shows up as a patient at your friend’s tertiary-care hospital. Horrific.

There’s was junk-TV, now we’ve got junk-web. Everywhere. We’ve got to become savvy consumers or we’ll become ever more stupid. We won’t survive stupidity.

  9. A massive tunnel built by the Hamas terror group in northern Gaza — the “longest and deepest” one ever found — has been destroyed after the Israeli military infiltrated the territory, officials said.

The passage near Nahal Oz was reported to be connected to a network of other tunnels in the Gaza Strip. Isreal’s military said the tunnel was “kilometers” long, but the exact length and depth was not immediately clear.

“A tunnel in which millions of dollars were invested, money that instead of relieving the strain on residents, was buried in the sand,” Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman said after the tunnel was sealed up this weekend. “Residents of Gaza, Hamas is burning your money on tunnels to nowhere. We will get our hands on all of them.”

    • The passage near Nahal Oz was reported to be connected to a network of other tunnels in the Gaza Strip.

We’re off to blast the tunnel
      The terrorist tunnel of Oz!

They really need to consider pumping these tunnels full of carbon dioxide or nitrogen so that everyone in the network has their own chance at achieving room temperature. Also, one can only hope that they are using “fast attack” (or concussive) explosives so that any survivors are crushed in the ensuing explosion’s shock wave.

      • The people blowing up tunnels are kids in the early 20s.

Israelis don’t breed killers. They all live with what they do, have done, for the rest of their lives. A society that values human life beyond all else, inclusive of Moslems.

Kids I know and love are growing up listening to digging under their beds. They know it may come – no doubt will come – to kill or be killed. They’re Maccabees, not pacifists.

In Israel war is all around you. Horribly maimed, blind, disfigured casualties that would’ve been dead without Israeli medical expertise.

Yet they’re not cold-blooded killers. They don’t dream of making their neighbors glass.

We can toss around big nuke-talk, mechanical mass murder. But we’re not 20 years old and we just talk.

        • We can toss around big nuke-talk, mechanical mass murder.

This isn’t about nuclear weapons or “mechanical mass murder”.

This is about precision targeted attacks on exactly those who are at the root of this problem and want to do the most harm to Israel. Anyone in those tunnels is a hostile combatant and needs to be removed from the board.

        • Yes the ones blowing up the tunnels are in their 20s, that is the age when you have the agility to get out of tunnels quickly and are still young enough to be unable to see your own death. Everyone else may die but you will find some what to survive, this is also why they make the best soldiers.

  10. Over $1 billion has been spent by the federal government since 2004 to clean up and remediate one of the most highly toxic and radioactive sites in the U.S., the Hunters Point Naval Shipyard in San Francisco. This Superfund site was home for decades, 1946-1969, to the Naval Radiological Defense Laboratory, and large Navy warships were towed there from the Pacific, where they had been placed close to nuclear tests.

They were then sandblasted at the shipyard under a plan to “decontaminate” these ships. Under immense political pressure, including reported coercion from Sen. Dianne Feinstein and Congresswomen Nancy Pelosi, the U.S. Navy agreed to turn over the site to the City and its master developer Lennar for development in 2004, and both powerful San Francisco politicians used their political muscle to allocate eventually hundreds of millions of dollars of federal funds for the cleanup of radiation and toxic chemicals.

The reporter neglects to mention how subsequent inspections have determined that the site remediation was totally inadequate and likely will have to be performed entirely over again. Feinstein and Pelosi have yet to take any responsibility for the hundreds of millions of dollars that were spent on, essentially, nothing.

      • It wasn’t spent on nothing, it was spent on things that would funnel the money into their bank accounts, either here or overseas.

  12. Soraya Post, a Member of the European Parliament for Sweden’s Feminist Initiative, suggests that the country ban political parties that criticise migration, Friatider reports.

Post says in magazine ETC: “it is a big threat to democracy and so-called human rights to normalise parties such as the Swedish Democrats (SD). The SD still have a homophobic, nationalist, racist and xenophobic policy, this has not been changed. Their policies are still not inclusive, it still excludes minorities”.

“And just because Alternative for Sweden [a new far-right party] is now formed, it does not make the SD less xenophobic and racist,” Post adds. “Sweden must ban organisations advocating racism” or “it will end with genocide in Sweden,” post continues in the magazine.

  13. LAS VEGAS (AP) — Police were searching Monday for a man accused of opening fire on a picnic for a group of employees of a Las Vegas Strip casino-resort, killing a woman and critically injuring a man this weekend in what investigators called workplace violence.

Authorities say Anthony Wrobel walked up to a table at a park and fired a weapon Sunday evening, striking an executive and an employee of The Venetian. Lt. Ray Spencer told reporters that Wrobel also is a Venetian employee who targeted the picnic before he left the park.

A woman in her 50s was killed, and a man, also in his 50s, was being treated for critical wounds. It wasn’t immediately clear which victim was the executive.,-killing-1?utm_campaign=SocialFlow&utm_source=Twitter&utm_medium=APWestRegion

  14. The newest Democratic congressional candidate in Massachusetts, Tahirah Amatul-Wadud, is a prominent official of not one but two Islamist groups: Jamaat ul-Fuqra and the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR).

Jamaat Ul-Fuqra, which now goes by the name of Muslims of America (MOA), is a jihadi cult that is currently under federal investigation. Amatul-Wadud has long been an advocate for Fuqra and serves as the group’s “general counsel.”
To find out more about this jihadi group, you can go to the website, Clarion Project’s central database of information about this extremist group.

CAIR has been identified by the Justice Department as a Hamas-linked entity of the Muslim Brotherhood.
Clarion Project was the first to report on Amatul-Wadud’s political aspirations when she expressed her intentions to eventually become the governor of Massachusetts.

  15. WARNING! Nikki Haley Warns of Chemical Attack In US: ‘If We’re Not Smart’

“This very easily could happen in the United States if we’re not smart, and if we’re not conscious of what’s happening,”

United States’ Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley said on Sunday that the Trump administration will announce more sanctions against Russia as soon as Monday.

  16. Nothing Weird About A Journalist Falling Off Balcony, Russia Says

Russian authorities are investigating the fall that lead to the death of a 32-year-old investigative journalist as an accident or something else but not as a crime.

Miksim Borodin, who published a number of stories about the deaths of dozens of alleged Russian mercenaries who attempted to storm a U.S. facility in Syria in February, died Sunday after falling five stories from his Yekaterinburg apartment balcony April 12.

“There are no grounds for launching a case,” the regional Russian Investigative Committee told the TASS state news agency in a statement Monday. “Several versions are being considered, including that this was an unfortunate accident, but there is no sign a crime has been committed.”

The door to the apartment was found locked from the inside after Borodin’s fall. The keys were found inside, leading police to claim there was no foul play. “Those facts suggest that no one left the apartment and that there were probably no strangers there,” police spokesman Valery Gorelykh told local news agency E1. There was no suicide note in his apartment, either, police said.

    • It’s curious (not really) that Russia and Communist China remain places that are dangerous for journalists. For whatever reason, America and Europe just aren’t so murderous towards the fourth estate. Not that reporters in the West aren’t being jailed frequently, but that is survivable compared to a five-story header.

      • Give us time, the left hasn’t had control for long enough to start killing journalists, although the Clinton crime family is suppose to have stopped some investigations by shall we say removing the investigative reporters.

  17. Wave of Muslim candidates across US look to reverse Trump policies (mee, Apr 16, 2018)

“… Muslim candidates echo the anti-Trump mantra across the US, from the Iranian-American entrepreneur Kia Hamadanchy in California, to the Indian-American progressive Sameena Mustafa of Illinois.

There are high hopes for Abdul El-Sayed, 33, the Egyptian-American doctor and Rhodes Scholar running for governor of Michigan. He recently tweeted: “Yes, I’m Muslim. We past that? Then let’s start talking about solutions.”

As well as those with immigrant roots in the Middle East and South Asia, the 2018 crop includes African-American Muslims, a more established force in US politics, like Marcus Goodwin, 28, a property trader vying for a seat on Washington DC’s city council.

They are all Democrats. Across the aisle, Saba Ahmed, a Pakistani-American Muslim who runs the Republican Muslim Coalition, cannot count a single GOP Muslim candidate this cycle – her group has retreated “behind the scenes” since Trump took the White House, she told MEE.

“It takes a lot guts to go up as a Republican Muslim because we do face a backlash – both from the Republican Party and the Muslim community,” Ahmed told MEE. She also suggested that Alzayat’s tally of left-leaning Muslim candidates is inflated.

Like Vaid, candidates typically steer away from religion. Muslim women candidates eschew head-coverings, with such exceptions as Bushra Amiwala in Illinois and Deedra Abboud, who seeks an Arizona Senate seat.

Acting overly religious is risky. Abboud stirred a hornet’s nest last year by posting relatively uncontroversial comments about the separation of church and state on her Facebook page, prompting a barrage of online fury.

“Get out stinking Muslim,” responded one web user, who was apparently unaware that blue-eyed Abboud is a convert who was born and raised in Arkansas. Other Muslim-American politicians report similar trolling.

Somali-born Minnesota state representative Ilhan Omar recalls “derogatory, Islamophobic, sexist taunts and threats” during her run in 2016. Hillary Clinton’s one-time aide Huma Abedin was probed for Islamist links and for spending her childhood in Saudi Arabia.

The most prominent Muslim-American politician, Keith Ellison, a Minnesota congressman and deputy DNC chairman, has repeatedly faced charges of being an anti-Semitic religious hard-liner. Even Obama, an avowed Christian, became the focus of some conspiracy theorists who claimed he was a Muslim.

For Abdulkader Sinno, an Indiana University scholar and editor of Muslims in Western Politics, this highlights the glass ceiling that will block most of this cycle’s Muslim candidates from winning office this year.

Despite well-established Muslim communities in such states as Michigan, Florida, Virginia, Pennsylvania and New Jersey, the country’s estimated 3.3 million Muslims only ever make a sliver of the electorate.

“Muslim Americans are becoming more engaged politically on all levels, and more of them are running for office,” Sinno told MEE.

“The problem, however, is that there is so much Islamophobia in the Republican party, and just enough of it among Democrats, that a Muslim candidate can only succeed in a heavily Democratic district.”

This is the paradigm that Alzayat’s PAC seeks to change. He wants to help Muslim candidates win over non-Muslim voters, and to persuade Muslim immigrants, who often hail from undemocratic countries, to turn out on polling day.

He does not predict a clean sweep of 100 new Muslim office-holders on November 6; he is pinning his hopes on a couple of Muslim women candidates in Michigan, the US state with the most vibrant Islamic scene.

“The Muslim-American community is politically weak. We don’t have sufficient political power due to our low voter turnout and lack of coordination,” Alzayat told MEE. “We’re disadvantaged until we rectify this imbalance.””

  18. Erdo?an blasts West over Islamophobia (hurriyetdailynews, Apr 16, 2018)

“President Recep Tayyip Erdo?an has again taken aim at the West over Islamophobia, suggesting it is “using anti-Islamic sentiments to reinforce its own ideology and lifestyle.”

“There are efforts to degrade and defame Islam, which is the only religion that offers genuine solutions to the modern world’s problems. The West tries to put certain labels on Islam through certain ‘project’ terrorist groups. Those are terrorist groups that have emerged lately,” Erdo?an said in a speech on April 16 at the World Muslim Minorities’ Summit in Istanbul.

Muslims have faced “multi-sided, multi-layered attacks since the 9/11 terror attacks,” he stated.

“Terrorist acts by herds of killers such as DEASH, Boko Haram, al-Shabbab, and the Fethullahist Terrorist Organization [FETÖ] have hurt Muslims and also give opportunities to anti-Islamic circles,” Erdo?an said.

“The innocence of Muslims slaughtered by those organizations is overlooked and our religion and the believers of Islam are held responsible for those atrocities,” he added.

Members of the Turkish Parliament’s subcommittee to investigate “Islamophobia” in Western countries had met with representatives of Turkish non-governmental organizations in Berlin earlier this month.

Ömer Serdar, the head of parliament’s Human Rights Committee, expressed his disturbance over the association of Muslims with terror.

“Recent developments, especially the rise in terror groups that define themselves with Islam, have contributed to this association,” Serdar said, adding that many people in Europe have a fear of refugees coming from the Middle East.

“We are not looking for a scapegoat. Let’s reveal the aftermath of these [Islamophobic] events together … There are 25 million Muslims living in Europe,” he also said.”

    • Muslims have faced “multi-sided, multi-layered attacks since the 9/11 terror attacks,” he stated.

This sort of Muslim “woe is me” rubbish becomes intolerable when accompanied by such blatant projection. If Islam did not exist, there wouldn’t be much in the way of terrorism and constant violence. There’d be some, but only a tiny fraction of what we have today.

  19. Members of Oxford child sex gang who indecently assaulted three teenage girls and sexually humiliated another are jailed for total of 20 years (dailymail, Apr 16, 2018)

“Two men on the periphery of a twisted child sex gang who indecently assaulted three teenage girls and sexually humiliated another were jailed for a total of 20 years today.

The victims of Raheem Ahmed and Kamran Khan, of Bolton, said they thought the abuse was normal.

They added that they could never lead a normal life after being forced to perform sex acts on the pair.

One girl said she had lowered her ‘life expectations’ and another said it had ‘shook up her whole life’ because of the abuse they suffered at the hands of a gang of men.

Judge Peter Ross heard at Oxford Crown Court how the girls were left permanently scarred by the abuse.

Jailing Ahmed, aged 41 years, for 12 years and 37-year-old Khan for eight years, Judge Ross said the duo were ‘at worst’ on the periphery of a child sex grooming gang.

They were convicted of a total of three indecent assaults and one count each of false imprisonment between 2000 and 2001, following a lengthy trial in March.

Judge Ross said: ‘You were both convicted of serious offences following a lengthy trial which has been characterised as an Oxford grooming case…”

  21. Nigeria: Violent clashes erupt between Shiite protesters and police

Violent clashes erupted between protesters and police in the Nigerian capital of Abuja on Monday, following a protest for the release of imprisoned Shi’a Muslim cleric Ibrahim El-Zakzaky.

    • I used play soldier at summer camp. (No uniforms, though. Religious girls wear long skirts.)
We marched around with sticks pretending they were rifles. We sang all the oldie-but-goodie songs of the Palmach and Haganah.
      It was fun.
