This is Sargan of Akaad interviewing a guy who you have probably seen before with his outrageous Sweden videos about the insanity in Sweden regarding the current political parties in Sweden.
For someone in the states, the various political parties in Europe can be hard to ingest.
This is pretty clear. I advise at least the first 30 mins.

    • At around 25 min the guest brings up the concept of “liquid democracy.” This is well worth your time. It’s a concept I had never heard of before but, I think it is an idea worth exploring.

    Slavery; The Inconvenient Truth

Posted by Hannes Wessels on 28. March 2018

    by Hannes Wessels

As a father of two impressionable teenage girls I am having a tough and at times frustrating time trying to undo the damage done at school in the course of their history studies where they seem to be learning little about European civilisation other than that we ‘pale-faces’ should be remembered primarily as the masters of the slave trade and avaricious colonialists who enjoyed being beastly brutes making life miserable for Africans.

What very few children today are taught is that the process to abolish the Atlantic slave trade began over 200 years ago and it was done primarily thanks to the intrepid mariners of the Royal Navy who set about the arduous and dangerous task of enforcing legislation passed in the British Parliament. The West Africa Squadron which was established for this single purpose was not a popular posting because it brought with it enormous risks, not least of which was death from tropical diseases. But officers and men pursued the task with almost evangelical zeal and eventually prevailed.

Little or no mention in the history lessons of William Wilberforce who was a primary player in the campaign to abolish slavery. He devoted his life to a cause that cost him his friendships and his health. Not a single African country, to my knowledge, acknowledges him nor is there any memorial to him.

They are also not told that the Arabs (Moslems) were enslaving Africans long before the Europeans arrived and that they continue to enslave Africans today. And as slaves their conditions were immeasurably harsher than those that prevailed in North America. Nothing in the textbooks about the fact that only about 2% of the people forcibly removed from Africa ended up in what is today the USA and that the Africans who came to America as slaves were the lucky ones who escaped the poverty, utter lawlessness and endemic tribal wars in their homeland to be introduced to the most advanced civilisation in history.

They are not told a form of indentured labour which would be classified as slavery in any European country is widely prevalent in South Asia, especially in India, to this day.

They also not told that virtually every dominant society in history has at one time or another compelled people to work under conditions of slavery.

Also nothing taught about the fact that in the 17th and 18th centuries hundreds of thousands of Europeans were shipped to America against their will and into forced labour. Waifs and strays were swept off the streets of London and shipped to the tobacco fields of the Carolinas. White convicts were paraded for sale like cattle and prostitutes were dragged from their brothels and shipped West against their will. Hundreds of thousands of Irishmen and women were sold by decree to labour in the fields of America.

No mention of the fact that through the 17th century over a million European slaves were abducted by Barbary pirates in raids on ships and coastal towns from Italy to the Netherlands and as far north as Iceland. In his book ‘Economic Facts and Fallacies’ Thomas Sowell (who is black), reports from references in the Library of Congress that more people were carried into slavery from Europe into North Africa than from Africa to North America.

Of course when the cry for reparations goes out there is no mention of the Arabs or anybody else whose ever abused anyone owing anything, it’s only the ‘usual-suspects’ who must cough because that’s just the way the modern world operates.

Naturally, little mention of the fact that there would have been no slave trade at all had it not been for the enthusiastic and ruthless support of African tribal chieftains who ensured a continuous supply of human merchandise was available to be loaded onto the waiting ships. Even the hardened white slavers were shaken by the brutality and savagery displayed by the Africans against one another in the competition to fill their vessels with live cargo. It should go without saying that if Africans had shown the same savage aggression in driving the slavers away there may have been no trade at all but the contrary was the norm; the ships were invariably welcomed.

This all brings me to the expose recently aired by CNN on the modern day slave trade that appears to be running out of Libya. There were lots of ugly visuals as one would expect but then rather surprisingly (for some – not so much for me) footage appeared which clearly showed some of the newly ‘enslaved’ with rather strange smiles on their faces and a look of relieved contentment, almost as if they were jolly pleased they had made it safely into the hands of the slavers who were about to drag them off and into the cruel clutches of the ghastly Europeans north of the Mediterranean.

This got me thinking, then excited, then fuming and I sought to summon my girls to see what I was seeing but my angry remonstrations and shouts of – ‘you see this is when I have been telling you all along!’ -had them darting from view with the slickness of a homesick mole sliding down a greased pole but a little of the truth had slipped by the censorious eyes of the ‘Thought-Police’ who manage the home of ‘Fake-News’.

That ‘truth’ goes right to the core of busting the myth about colonialism being a blight on the continent and the independence that followed, being a blessing, when in fact, the very converse is true. That would be made embarrassingly obvious if the countries of Europe and North America were to make it known that they were back in the slave trade and boats were on their way to the ports. The response from the forsaken millions, destined for lives of endless poverty would doubtless be overwhelming and the rush for the ships would be unstoppable. If the demand were to be there, I have little doubt Africa would soon be bereft of people, the vast majority would choose to abandon their purported ‘freedom’ on a continent fast reversing back into anarchy and savagery and become ‘unfree’ again under European suzerainty.

Hobbes in Leviathan, painted a grim picture when he suggested that the natural state of mankind is a “war of all against all” in which men’s lives are “solitary, poor, nasty, brutish, and short“. Unfortunately, in most cases he’s been proved right but if there is a chance to escape this dystopia it rests with that part of the world where Europeans built societies on a foundation forged out of the Christian ethos. But of course, nobody supposed to know that either.

  4. Trump threatens “Animal Assad,” Putin over alleged chemical attack in Syria

WASHINGTON — President Trump responded Sunday to reports of a suspected chemical attack in the Syrian city of Douma, blaming Syrian President Bashar Assad and his international allies for the apparent attack that left dozens dead and hundreds injured. In some of his most critical comments directed at Russian President Vladimir Putin to date, Mr. Trump threatened that there’s a “big price … to pay” for those backing the Assad regime.

MOSCOW (Reuters) – Russia’s Foreign Ministry said on Sunday reports of a gas attack in Syria were bogus and any military action taken based on such “invented and fabricated excuses” could lead to severe consequences.

“The spread of bogus stories about the use of chlorine and other poisonous substances by (Syrian) government forces continues. Yet another such fabricated piece of information about an alleged chemical attack in Douma appeared yesterday,” the ministry said in a statement.

“We have warned several times recently against such dangerous provocations. The aim of such deceitful speculation, lacking any kind of grounding, is to shield terrorists … and to attempt to justify possible external uses of force.”

  6. Consumer groups seek probe of YouTube over ads for kids

Washington (AFP) – Consumer and activist groups called Monday for an investigation into Google-owned YouTube for allowing advertising to be targeted at children in apparent violation of US law.

The organizations said that although YouTube claims that the site is only for users 13 and up, Google generates significant profits from kid-targeted advertising on the video-sharing service.

Twenty-three organizations signed a complaint to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), arguing that YouTube is among the most popular online platforms for children and offers many programs designed and promoted for children.

According to the complaint, Google collects personal information about minors on YouTube, including location, unique device identifiers and mobile telephone numbers, and uses that to target advertisements to kids across the internet, apparently without their parents’ consent.

It’s been a bad few weeks for U.S. military aviation.

Since a U.S. Navy F/A-18 Super Hornet crashed off the Florida coast March 14, killing both pilots, there have been four more aviation accidents that have claimed a dozen more lives. And that’s just this year.

In the last three months of 2017, four major accidents killed 12 more service members. That’s 26 deaths in six months.

  8. Iran’s Rouhani says US ‘will regret it’ if it violates nuke deal

Tehran (AFP) – Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said Monday that the United States would regret withdrawing from the nuclear deal, and that Iran would respond in “less than a week” if that happened.

“We will not be the first to violate the accord but they should definitely know that they will regret it if they violate it,” Rouhani told a conference to mark National Nuclear Technology Day in Tehran.

“We are much more prepared than they think, and they will see that if they violate this accord, within a week, less than a week, they will see the result.”

US President Donald Trump has threatened to walk away from the nuclear deal and reimpose sanctions by May 12 unless tough new restrictions are imposed on Iran’s nuclear and missile programmes.

  9. China Is Studying Yuan Devaluation as a Tool in Trade Spat

China is evaluating the potential impact of a gradual yuan depreciation, people familiar with the matter said, as the country’s leaders weigh their options in a trade spat with U.S. President Donald Trump that has roiled financial markets worldwide.

Senior Chinese officials are studying a two-pronged analysis of the yuan that was prepared by the government, the people said. One part looks at the effect of using the currency as a tool in trade negotiations with the U.S., while a second part examines what would happen if China devalues the yuan to offset the impact of any trade deal that curbs exports.

The analysis doesn’t mean officials will carry out a devaluation, which would require approval from top leaders, the people said, asking not to be named as the information is private. The yuan weakened as much as 0.2 percent to 6.3186 per dollar in onshore trading on Monday before trading little changed as of 5:49 p.m. local time. China’s central bank didn’t immediately respond to a faxed request for comment.

  10. GOP’s tax cut isn’t a gift to the rich, analysis finds

The top 20 percent of wage earners will pay 87 percent of all federal income taxes in 2018, according to a new analysis by the nonpartisan Tax Policy Center.

That’s up from about 84 percent last year.

The increase comes thanks to the tax-reform bill passed in December, which kept the progressive structure of the US tax code.

The new law reduced taxes for all income levels. Doing so increased the percentage of the total paid by workers earning $150,000 or more.

To New Yorkers, earning a $150,000 salary may not sound like it will make you rich, but it’s the dividing line that puts a worker into the top 20 percent of American earners. That’s the group that includes people with last names like Buffett, Bezos and Zuckerberg.

The biggest beneficiaries of the new tax structure are those earning between $300,000 to $733,000, according to the analysis. They’ll see an average tax cut of about 3.4 percent, taking home an extra $11,200 this year on average.

Last year it seemed Mark Zuckerberg was looking for a way into politics. Now he could be looking for a way out.

The Facebook founder has been called to testify before Congress starting Tuesday. He’ll face tough questions about how a Trump-affiliated data-analytics firm got hold of personal information belonging to nearly 90 million of the social-media site’s users. On Wednesday he told reporters he’d made a “huge mistake” in not prioritizing the protection of user data.

LSD making comeback as professionals drop ACID before work

EATING tiny amounts of psychedelics like LSD can improve performance in the office and on the track, experts have shockingly claimed.

But a growing consensus of professionals and athletes believe taking smaller and smarter doses of psychedelics can improve performance both in the office and on the track.

From heightening creativity and focus at work to improving PB’s and enhancing endurance, psychedelics’ positive potential is gaining acceptance.

Hallucinogenic drugs have suffered from a stigma ever since 1960s LSD advocate Timothy Leary popularised it as a recreational substance, with the resulting dangerous doses and ‘bad trips’ making headlines.

But recent studies are showing psychedelics’ enormous potential in treating a wide range of mental health disorders, such as depression, addiction and post-traumatic stress disorder.

AMMAN/CAIRO (Reuters) – Syria accused Israel on Monday of carrying out overnight missile strikes on a major airfield, after earlier saying it suspected the United States of being behind the attack.

Russia, the Damascus government’s key ally, also said two Israeli F-15 war planes carried out the strikes near Homs in central Syria. An Israeli military spokesman said he had no immediate comment.

North Korea tells U.S. it is prepared to discuss denuclearization: source

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – North Korea has told the United States for the first time that it is prepared to discuss the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula when North Korean leader Kim Jong Un meets President Donald Trump, a U.S. official said on Sunday.

U.S. and North Korean officials have held secret contacts recently in which Pyongyang directly confirmed its willingness to hold the unprecedented summit, the official told Reuters, speaking on condition of anonymity.

The communications, still at a preliminary stage, have involved State Department officials talking to North Korea apparently through its United Nations mission, and intelligence officers from both sides using a separate backchannel, the official said.

Until now, the United States had relied mostly on ally South Korea’s assurance of Kim’s intentions.

South Korean envoys visited Washington last month to convey Kim’s invitation to meet. Trump, who has exchanged bellicose threats with Kim in the past year, surprised the world by quickly agreeing to meet Kim to discuss the crisis over Pyongyang’s development of nuclear weapons capable of hitting the United States.

  19. Downhill slide: Posturing over the ‘plight of Gaza’ has passed peak virtue-signaling
    By J.E. Dyer April 9, 2018

The old Virtue-Posturing Moment on the Middle East is disappearing in the rearview mirror. Stuff got real Sunday night, when reports emerged that there had been an attack on T4 airbase (Tiyas) in central Syria.

Such is the situation in Syria that no one knows yet where the attack came from. The base is used by Iran, as well as by Syrian forces; it could be some sort of retaliation for the apparent use of chemical weapons by the Assad regime on 7 April. The U.S. categorically denies being involved (which so far has been a reliable form of assurance. I.e., if we are involved, we say so).

Alternatively, it could be that Israel has attacked a newly-arrived weapon system, or shipment of weapons or weapon components, at the remote airbase. Such a shipment would have come from Iran. An Israeli attack could also have been a reprisal for Iran’s sponsorship of Hamas, and complicity in the Gazan surges against the border fence with Israel over the last week.

Sputnik reporter and columnist Suliman Mulhem discussed Ankara’s turbulent relations with the US and NATO with Major General Beyazit Karatas, a retired Turkish Air Force officer who also served as a military attaché in Washington.

“At present, at least 95% of Turkish people are against the country’s alliance with the US and NATO, although Turkish officials have stated they will continue to stay within NATO. In the period ahead we will continue to further develop and diversify our relations considering the US’ policy of supporting a terrorist group which fights against the Turkish government,” the retired air force officer told Sputnik, outlining the growing anti-US sentiment in Turkey due to Washington’s alliance with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), which is considered by Ankara to be an affiliate of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK.)…”

Seymour Hersh Says Hillary Approved Sending Libya’s Sarin to Syrian Rebels
The great investigative journalist Seymour Hersh, in two previous articles in the London Review of Books («Whose Sarin?» and «The Red Line and the Rat Line») has reported that the Obama Administration falsely blamed the government of Syria’s Bashar al-Assad for the sarin gas attack that Obama was trying to use as an excuse to invade Syria; and Hersh pointed to a report from British intelligence saying that the sarin that was used didn’t come from Assad’s stockpiles. Hersh also said that a secret agreement in 2012 was reached between the Obama Administration and the leaders of Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar, to set up a sarin gas attack and blame it on Assad so that the US could invade and overthrow Assad. «By the terms of the agreement, funding came from Turkey, as well as Saudi Arabia and Qatar; the CIA, with the support of MI6, was responsible for getting arms from Gaddafi’s arsenals into Syria». Hersh didn’t say whether these «arms» included the precursor chemicals for making sarin which were stockpiled in Libya, but there have been multiple independent reports that Libya’s Gaddafi possessed such stockpiles, and also that the US Consulate in Benghazi Libya was operating a «rat line» for Gaddafi’s captured weapons into Syria through Turkey.

  28. UPDATE: This morning, a law enforcement whistleblower apparently came forward with the news that the Circuit Attorney who is the subject of this piece may be under an FBI investigation by the public corruption unit. If confirmed, it adds to the picture painted below of a prosecutor that has gone about her work in a dangerous and reckless fashion.

    Nothing. Nada. Zip. Zero.

That’s how much evidence the prosecution has put forward in their felony case against Eric Greitens.

Don’t take my word for it. Look at what they’ve admitted in court. The prosecution has said it has no photo. They have no evidence of transmission of a photo. They have no evidence that the Governor tried to blackmail his mistress with a photo. They have no victim. They have no police report. All of this has been a part of the public record of the case thus far.

  30. An epidemic of stabbings and acid attacks in London has gotten so bad that London mayor Sadiq Khan is announcing broad new “knife control” policies designed to keep these weapons of war out of the hands of Londoners looking to cause others harm.
The “tough, immediate” measures involve an incredible police crackdown, a ban on home deliveries of knives and acid, and expanding law enforcement stop-and-search powers so that police may stop anyone they believe to be a threat, or planning a knife or acid attack.
Khan announced Friday that the city has created a “violent crime taskforce of 120 officers” tasked with rooting out knife-wielding individuals in public spaces, and is pumping nearly $50 million dollars into the Metropolitan Police department so that they can better arm themselves against knife attacks. He’s also empowering the Met Police to introduce “targeted patrols with extra stop and search powers for areas worst-affected,” according to a statement.

  31. British police forces arrested at least nine people a day for “offensive” online comments last year.
Figures obtained by The Times through the Freedom of Information Act reveal that 3,395 people across 29 forces were arrested last under section 127 of the Communications Act 2003, which makes it illegal to intentionally “cause annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety to another”, in 2016.

The true figure is likely to be significantly higher, as thirteen police forces refused to provide the requested information and two did not provide usable data.

Around half of the investigations were abandoned before being brought to prosecution, which critics say is an indication that the authorities are being excessively strict in their interpretation of the law’s restrictions on freedom of speech.

“A French official says three men and three women have been detained in the investigation of the 2016 slaying of two police officers in their home in the name of the Islamic State group.

A judicial official said the arrests on Monday were aimed at determining the roles, if any, that the individuals may have had in the killings of the couple at their home in Magnanville, west of Paris.

The official refused to confirm French press reports that one of the women detained in the sweep in Les Yvelines — where Magnanville is located — and the Val d’Oise is herself a police officer. The official was not authorized to speak publicly.

Larossi Abballa stabbed the couple before police killed him. The couple’s 3-year-old son survived.”

“Several Fulani civic associations say that Mali’s army has killed 14 Fulani civilians who had been arrested and detained by the military in the country’s central west region.

Abdul Aziz Diallo, president of the Peulh Tabital Pulaaku Association, alleged Monday that the army killings happened on Friday.

Mali’s army said Saturday that 14 suspected extremists were killed when they allegedly attempted to escape detention. Mali’s minister of defense on Sunday said the deaths will be investigated.

Residents in Nielbel said that soldiers came to the market Thursday and arrested 14 people who were later taken to Dioura.

Since 2015, mainly Fulani jihadist groups linked to al-Qaida have been attacking the Malian army. However, several human rights associations have accused the Malian army of serious human rights violations against civilians.”

“NATO said Monday that a U.S. airstrike in northern Afghanistan has killed a senior Islamic State commander.

A statement said Qari Hikmatullah, a former leader of the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan, was killed in the northern Faryab province by the airstrike on Friday. It said one of his bodyguards was also killed.

Hikmatullah, a native Uzbek, had also previously fought with the Taliban, before joining the local IS affiliate. The IS affiliate named Mawlavi Habibul Rahman, another Uzbek, to be his successor.

“Afghan special security forces and U.S. counter-terrorism forces killed Hikmatullah and they will kill any successors,” Gen. John Nicholson, the commander of U.S. forces in Afghanistan, said in the statement…”

  36. The ‘Yes California’ independence campaign, led by a Russian-backed eccentric, deserves a firm ‘no’ vote.
The Irish Republican Socialist party and Sinn Fein still dream of a unified Irish republic. The Catalan Solidarity for Independence coalition would see the Estelada flag raised over an independent Estat Català, and there are independence-minded movements as far-flung as the western Sahara. The Uhuru Movement is a kind of separatist movement standing on its head, looking to transcend national borders (with their colonial histories) and unite African people in a single African identity. The United States has the Texas Nationalist Movement hoping to restore the Republic of Texas, and somewhere out there is a very committed fellow who believes himself to be the rightful king of Hawaii. There is a more plausible movement for an independent Puerto Rico and a much less plausible movement for an independent California. All of these have something in common.

  37. Indonesia seizes fishing boat with alleged slave workers (abcnews, Apr 9, 2018)
    http://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/indonesia-seizes-fishing-boat-alleged-slave-workers-54335544

“Indonesia’s navy has seized a fishing boat carrying 20 crewmembers, including 14 Indonesians believed to be trafficking victims who were forced to work for years without pay, officials said Monday.

Maritime and Fisheries Minister Susi Pudjiastuti said a navy ship intercepted the STS-50 about 60 miles (95 kilometers) from Weh Island in Aceh province last Friday, a day after a tip from Interpol saying the vessel was heading to Indonesian waters.

Pudjiastuti said the boat was carrying six Russians, including the captain, and 14 Indonesians.

“The STS-50 has allegedly committed an organized transnational crime,” Pudjiastuti said.

She said the boat is believed to have falsified its identity many times and used the flags of eight different countries, including Japan, South Korea, Sierra Leone, Cambodia and Micronesia, to facilitate illegal fishing in the waters of many nations.

The boat had earlier been seized by China but managed to escape, and was later captured in Mozambique’s Port of Maputo before fleeing again, Pudjiastuti said.

Indonesian navy deputy chief Achmad Taufiqoerrochman said there are strong indications that the Indonesians on board are victims of trafficking who were forced to work at sea for years without pay.

“Suspicions of trafficking arose when we caught it without valid documents,” Taufiqoerrochman said. “We are still investigating this case comprehensively.”

He said the boat was equipped with 600 sets of gill nets, each about 50 meters (55 yards) long, that can sweep up to 30 square kilometers (12 square miles) of ocean.”

The network head is also said to have worked with people smugglers to help migrants get to Europe through Libya.

  39. Swedish Politician Likened Tourists to ‘Islamic State’ (breitbart, Apr 9, 2018)
    http://www.breitbart.com/london/2018/04/09/northern-swedish-politician-claims-tourists-like-islamic-state/

“A politician in northern Sweden has compared the actions of reckless tourists to terrorism saying that they “break and destroy like the Islamic State”.

Lars Jon Allas, a politician serving in the semi-autonomous Sami Parliament in northern Sweden, was reported to police over Easter weekend due to an altercation with tourists in which he allegedly threatened a guide with a knife. After the incident, the politician took to social media to declare tourists were as bad as terrorists, Swedish broadcaster SVT reports.

“They’re just like terrorists, destroying everything we’ve got here. They only care about themselves, they break and destroy just like Islamic State,” Allas said.

“They kill our nutrition and our animals. They destroy everything in our culture. Companies do not even need permission for their businesses,” he added.

Sami chairman Per-Olof Nutti commented on Allas’s remarks saying: “Of course, it’s regrettable if it’s true. No one can support such a thing. As a politician, one must be extra careful about how to behave.”

Håkan Jonsson, the leader of the Sami Parliament’s largest party, slammed the comparison saying: “This shows that he does not have respect for other people and businesses. There are also many Sami living off of tourism.”

While Allas likens tourists to Islamic State members, the actual number of radical Islamic extremists in Sweden has grown dramatically in recent years. According to the Swedish security agency (Sapo), the number of violent radicals now numbers over 2,000, up from only 200 in 2010.

Swedish researcher Peder Hyllengren of the Swedish Defence College claimed earlier this year that the country had become a base for radical Islam and that Swedish extremists were part of vast international networks.

Hyllengren blamed political correctness and far-left activists for stifling real debate on the issue saying: “You risk being identified as racist in a way that you did not see in other European countries.

“There, this question was as uncontroversial as the importance of combating Nazism and right-wing extremism. But in Sweden, it took a long time before we could discuss jihadism in the same way that we discussed Nazism for a long time.””

  40. Showerthought: there has been a lot of deaths in training at US bases – way more than statistically normal. Is it just an anomaly or is there sabotage? Or some other reason?

    No article, was just thinking…

    Ideas?

    • Ideas?

      Shorter recruit attention spans?

Modern military service is orders of magnitude more complicated than is was for the WWII generation (that still enjoyed books for entertainment).

Lower overall quality of recruit health and acuity?

With three out of four applicants being too obese for basic enlistment qualifications, and one in thirteen troops clinically overweight, the possibilities for physical over-stress move into conjunction with a decreasingly active and more sedentary candidate pool. Incidentally, that inactive, cell phone, online lifestyle really deadens your situational awareness and general reflexes (as in avoiding danger).

      Loss of seasoned leadership?

A lot of the most competent career soldiers are terming out into retirement. It’s difficult not to sympathize with any who bail because of the toll being taken by Political Correctness.

Save for Afghanistan and the Sandbox, America has had no serious engagements to battle-harden its more newly-minted, upper ranks.

      Multidimensional thought?

Increasingly, even the rawest enlistees are now expected to possess knowledge levels that once occupied the realms of bars and scrambled eggs.

      Re-arming?

0bama down-cycled the US military like few others in this nation’s history. End.

      • During Nam they solved the overweight issue, if after the first few weeks of Basic you hadn’t lost weight they put you in a special 4 week training cycle. Controlled diet and nothing but exercise, this ranged from High School lypt PT to long marches and runs. The vast majority lost weight and kept it off while they were on active, they didn’t want to got through that training again.

The IQ problem is one that doesn’t have an easy solution, most of the illegals wouldn’t pass the tests to enter the armed services no matter what language they are given in. Back in the 60s the grunts (combat soldiers) needed to be fairly well educated, the new equipment required brains and training to use. It is much worse now.

  41. Confirmed: Two-Thirds of ‘Child Refugees’ Questioned in UK Are Adult (breitbart, Apr 9, 2018)
    http://www.breitbart.com/london/2018/04/09/confirmed-two-thirds-child-refugees-questioned-uk-adult/

“Around two-thirds of “child refugees” who were questioned about their age in the UK were revealed to be adults, a government report has found.

In one year, 65 per cent of asylum seekers assessed were judged to be over the age of 18.

The report, by immigration watchdog boss David Bolt, revealed the Home Office received 2,952 asylum applications from unaccompanied children, of which 705 had their age disputed.

Of that, 618 cases were resolved, and 402 of them were found to be adults…”

  42. Europe’s Civilizational Exhaustion

    by Giulio Meotti
    April 9, 2018 at 5:00 am

    https://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/12093/europe-civilizational-exhaustion

In a prophetic conference held in Vienna on May 7, 1935, the philosopher Edmund Husserl said, “The greatest danger to Europe is tiredness”. Eighty years later, the same fatigue and passivity still dominate Western European societies.

It is the sort of exhaustion that we see in Europeans’ falling birth rates, the mushrooming public debt, chaos in the streets, and Europe’s refusal to invest resources in its security and military might. Last month, in a Paris suburb, the Basilica of Saint Denis, where France’s Christian kings are buried, was occupied by 80 migrants and pro-illegal-immigration activists. The police had to intervene to free the site.

  43. Good reasons for carrying a knife or weapon
Examples of good reasons to carry a knife or weapon in public can include:

taking knives you use at work to and from work
taking it to a gallery or museum to be exhibited
if it’ll be used for theatre, film, television, historical reenactment or religious purposes, for example the kirpan some Sikhs carry
if it’ll be used in a demonstration or to teach someone how to use it
A court will decide if you’ve got a good reason to carry a knife or a weapon if you’re charged with carrying it illegally.
