  1. ‘Despite Peace Talks, War in Syria Will Get Worse’
Home > World > Syria > ‘Despite Peace Talks, War in Syria Will Get Worse’
By Clarion Project Monday, December 4, 2017

Clarion Project’s Shillman Fellow & National Security Analyst, Prof. Ryan Mauro, appears on I24 (at 5:30 in the video) to discuss the new round of peace talks in Syria and why he believes the situation is about to get worse, despite the defeat of ISIS.

    • Yes I know not all of the Iranians are trying to fulfill their end times prophecy, but some are and some of them are in the government.

  2. Sweden: Armed police escort night joggers so they feel safe

Night joggers in the southern Swedish town of Oskarshamn can now be escorted by armed police to feel safe in the dark, footage shows Monday.

Oskarshamn police officer Peter Karlsson explains, “Well, it’s an initiative from many local authorities, the community, the police, several running groups. And the reason is to increase security, people feel unsecure and it’s believed on security, it’s not depending on some rise of crime. We want to do our part to increase the security.”

He added: “I think it is a precaution and it’s probably due to what’s happening in the rest of the world, many places are very disturbed and it’s not Oskarshamn that has seen a rise of crime. I think it has to do with the whole world actually.”

  3. Liberal Protester Can’t Afford Ramen, Wears $400 Boots

Playing the victim is hard work — so hard, in fact, that spending a few bucks on a box of ramen at Walmart is simply out of the question.

Since the so-called Occupy Wall Street protests of 2010, the internet has been flooded with images of privileged protesters claiming that they are the most oppressed people in the world. The irony is not lost when these same people are shown bravely voicing their dissent with the $600+ mobile devices they likely received as Christmas gifts from their parents.

This photograph takes this irony to the next level.

According to the woman pictured here, ramen noodles (ie, the cheapest food ever created in the history of food) cost WAY too much, and the damned bourgeois are to blame. Nevermind the fact that this woman’s outfit alone could probably buy her enough ramen to make her never want to eat the noodle soup ever again — but that’s simply asking too much, isn’t it?

  4. Show This Picture of Che Guevara to Every Liberal You Know

We’re willing to be you haven’t seen this picture before — and we’re willing to bet much more that none of your liberal friends have either.

Che Guevara, the romanticized communist revolutionary famous for his activism in Cuba and other South American countries, has been depicted by Hollywood and contemporary culture as some sort of progressive icon. His picturesque photo has been appropriated for t-shirts and various other clothing items — many of which are worn by would-be edgy youths.

To justify this, liberals love to reference how Cubans now have access to healthcare and education their pre-revolutionary elders did not have. What they fail to mention are the scores of mass killings in which Che was personally involved.

  5. Mali’s leader says French troops killed captive soldiers instead of jihadists (RT, Dec 4, 2017)
    https://www.rt.com/news/411916-france-mali-troops-killed/

“Up to 11 captive Malian soldiers were killed in a French military raid in Mali, its president said, refuting the claim they were jihadists. It comes days after the France’s Emmanuel Macron said African countries should “applaud” the French troops stationed there.

The jihadist group targeted in the operation was the first to report the results of the botched raid which took place on October 23. Out of 15 people killed in the raid, carried out by the French military, 11 turned out to be Malian soldiers captured by the militants. While the French General Staff dismissed the group’s account as “propaganda,” Mali has confirmed the operation was a tragic blunder.

Malian President Ibrahim Boubakar Keita on Sunday reiterated that “a lot of hostages” were killed in the operation, speaking to the Jeune Afrique magazine. While he did not mention the exact number of victims, the jihadists previously recorded footage with an “appeal” of eleven Malian army hostages said to have been killed in the raid.

“They were the terrorists’ hostages and there should be no ambiguity about that between our French friends and us,” Keita said. “It’s regrettable, it can unfortunately happen in these type of operations. We should admit it and not look for reasons that don’t exist.”

The Malian leader’s comments followed an evaluation of the incident by French Defense Minister Florence Parly, who insisted that her military had “very good reasons to believe” that the victims of the raid were not hostages…”

“President Abdrabbuh Mansur Hadi called on the Yemeni people on Monday to revolt against the Houthis militias.

He said during a televised address after the death of former President Ali Abdullah Saleh at the hands of the Iran-backed militants: “We should unite in order to eliminate the terrorist militias.”

He offered his condolences to the people over the death of the former president, saying:

“Yemen is passing through a fateful phase that requires us all to stand strong and united to confront those sectarian militias.”

The Yemeni people have had enough suffering and “they only deserve a dignified life,” continued Hadi…”
