  1. Iran, Turkey sign deal with Qatar to ease Gulf blockade (ahram, Nov 26, 2017)
    http://english.ahram.org.eg/NewsContent/2/8/282272/World/Region/Iran,-Turkey-sign-deal-with-Qatar-to-ease-Gulf-blo.aspx

“Iran and Turkey signed a deal Sunday with Qatar aimed at boosting commercial ties with the Gulf state which is under blockade by its Arab neighbours, Iranian state television said.

The broadcaster’s website said the agreement provides for the creation of a “joint working group to facilitate the transit of goods between the three countries”.

It also said the three nations aimed to tackle “obstacles to sending goods from Iran and Turkey to Qatar”.

Qatar’s relationship with Shia-dominated Iran, seen as the major rival to Sunni-ruled Saudi Arabia in the Middle East, is one of the major factors underpinning the crisis between Qatar and its former allies.

Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates and Egypt all cut ties with Qatar in June, accusing Doha of backing extremism and fostering ties with Iran, charges that Qatar denies.

Since the crisis erupted, Iran and Turkey — whose relations have warmed considerably in recent months — have sought to help break Qatar’s isolation, including by increasing food exports to the emirate.”

  2. Gülenists inside NATO cleaned: NATO’s Assistant Secretary General (hurriyetdailynews, Nov 26, 2017)
    http://www.hurriyetdailynews.com/gulenists-inside-nato-cleaned-natos-assistant-secretary-general-123093

“NATO has severed ties with personnel whom Turkey claims are linked to the Fethullahist Terrorist Organization (FETÖ), NATO Assistant Secretary General for Public Diplomacy and Ambassador Tacan ?ldem has stated.

“Those NATO employees detected as having links to FETÖ have been recalled to Turkey. They were commissioned officers assigned to NATO posts by Turkey,” ?ldem told daily Hürriyet on Nov. 25.

“Relations between these people and the NATO institutions were cut when Turkey notified the relevant authorities of their connection to FETÖ,” he added.

The recent Nov. 8 to Nov. 17 NATO drill in NATO’s Joint Warfare Center in Norway sparked controversy when images of Turkey’s founding leader, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, and President Recep Tayyip Erdo?an were depicted as enemies of the alliance, prompting Turkey to withdraw its troops.

As Ankara condemned the incident, NATO announced on Nov. 17 that a technician and a military officer had been sacked, and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg apologized to Turkey over the incident.

On Nov. 22, Deputy Prime Minister Hakan Çavu?o?lu claimed a FETÖ member was behind the controversy.

Stating that vacant military positions in NATO are filled by member states assignments, ?ldem said “no military personnel whom Turkey has dismissed can possibly work in NATO.”

?ldem said Stoltenberg’s apology was “not an ordinary and easy move,” adding that it was “beneficial to see NATO authorities dwell upon the issue with such seriousness, especially the Secretary-General.”

He said reactions to the issue were “normal,” adding that discussions on Turkey’s NATO membership “should be carried out with concrete knowledge and objective data.”

“Lack of knowledge delivers the wrong outcome,” ?ldem said.

“Although the issue has been well discussed by the Turkish public, sometimes discussions were carried out as if Turkey were not a NATO member. But Turkey is a respectable, valuable, loyal member of this organization, which makes decision by consensus, and provides equal rights,” he added.

Answering a question concerning FETÖ-allied asylum seekers, ?ldem said applications to the relevant countries were underway and “NATO cannot interfere in the individual sovereignty of countries.”

Turkey’s relation with Russia and Iran

As Erdo?an meets his Russian and Iranian counterparts in an effort to find solution to war-torn Syria, ?ldem countered speculation that Turkey is drifting away from its Western military alliance. “Turkey is in a dialogue with its two neighbors to tackle problems that are directly related to its security,” he said.

As a NATO ally, Turkey’s recent purchase of the S-400 missile system from non-NATO country Russia has also called into the question Turkey’s relation with the military alliance, not least because the system is incompatible with NATO systems.

“From NATO’s viewpoint, Turkey engaging with Russia at a political level is not a cause for concern,” he said.

He also mentioned Turkey’s downing of a Russian jet in 2015, which opened a substantial rift between the two countries, and in the wake of which NATO’s Secretary General Stoltenberg called for “dialogue between the two countries.”

He added that NATO has enhanced its defense and deterrence systems “against the new threat in the East,” stating that Russia’s annexation of Crimea in 2014 “has created a new security environment in which international law is violated.”

“On the other hand, political dialogue with Russia has been conserved within the framework of the NATO-Russia Council,” he said.

“Naturally this dialogue remains ongoing after the suspensions of the previous practical alliance,” he said.”

  3. Why Pakistan’s government delayed action against protesters (gulfnews, Nov 26, 2017)
    http://gulfnews.com/news/asia/pakistan/why-pakistan-s-government-delayed-action-against-protesters-1.2130781

“Islamabad: After three weeks of protests and several futile attempts at talks, Pakistan’s government finally decided on November 25 to forcefully disperse protesters who had been occupying the Faizabad junction, connecting Islamabad and Rawalpindi.

The operation was suspended within few hours and protesters returned to the streets.

Activists from Tehreek-e-Labaik had been protesting since November 6, demanding the dismissal and arrest of the law minister over his alleged role in the amendment of blasphemy law in the Elections Act 2017.

The government delayed taking action against the protesters, fearing backlash for following reasons:

    1. The foremost reason is that the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government draws support from Islamists and, during the last elections, won the support of between 30-40 per cent of votes from constituencies where Islamists dominated, particularly in Punjab.

    2. Another important reason is that one of the hardline Islamist parties, the Jamiat Ulema-e Islam-F (JUI-F), Maulana Fazal-ur-Rahman’s group, which has nine seats in the national assembly and over a dozen in provincial assemblies is an important ally of the PML-N.

    3. Third and the most important reason for the delayed action against the protesters is the fear among already weak government circles that, if an action was conducted against the Islamists, the PML-N government would lose more than two dozen seats in the next election, especially from rural Punjab.

Some experts have blamed the government’s delayed reaction for the resultant chaos and instability across Pakistan on Saturday.

However, others felt the problem was more complicated.

Criticising the crackdown, the chief of politico-religious Jamaat-e-Islami, Siraj ul Haq, said the use of force has intensified the situation…”

  4. Boko Haram in new raid on town in Nigeria (gulfnews, Nov 26, 2017)
    http://gulfnews.com/news/africa/nigeria/boko-haram-in-new-raid-on-town-in-nigeria-1.2130750

“Kano, Nigeria: Boko Haram fighters briefly overran a town in northeast Nigeria in a raid to loot food supplies, military and civilian militia sources said on Sunday, in the latest attack in the restive region.

The attack happened on Saturday evening when a large number of extremists stormed Magumeri, some 50 kilometres north of the Borno state capital, Maiduguri.

The town and surrounding area have been attacked before by fighters loyal to the Daesh-group-supported factional leader of Boko Haram, Abu Musab Al Barnawi…”

  5. Sudan clashes in Darfur leave 10 dead: State media (middleeasteye, Nov 27, 2017)
    http://www.middleeasteye.net/news/sudan-clashes-darfur-leave-10-dead-state-media-119145978

“Ten members of Sudan’s controversial counter-insurgency unit were killed in clashes with fighters loyal to a powerful militia leader in war-torn Darfur, the official SUNA news agency reported on Sunday.

Darfur, a region the size of France, has been awash with weapons since 2003, when ethnic minority rebels took up arms against President Omar al-Bashir’s Arab-dominated government, accusing it of economic and political marginalisation.

Clashes between troops from the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) and fighters loyal to Musa Hilal erupted when a unit of RSF was ambushed near the hometown of Hilal in the state of North Darfur.

“An RSF commander and nine other members were martyred when they were ambushed near Mustariaha,” SUNA reported…”

  6. Muslims are ‘not completely human,’ Swedish politician claims, causing uproar (RT, Nov 26, 2017)
    https://www.rt.com/news/411015-muslims-not-human-swedish/

“Martin Strid, of the anti-immigration Sweden Democrats (SD), made the comments while addressing party faithful gathered for the SD’s national conference. Other members have distanced themselves from Strid who now faces expulsion.

Addressing the crowd, Strid, according to various local sources said that there is a scale of humanity from 1 to 100, that Muslims can be placed upon and that not all are 100 percent human.

“On one end of the scale you are 100 percent human, a person, everything that’s part of that concept. At the other end, you are 100 percent Mohammedan,” he said. He continued, saying that “all Muslims are somewhere on that scale” with ISIS militants “close to being 100 percent Mohammedan.”

Though he wasn’t finished: “If you are an ex-Muslim you have come quite far towards being fully human” while also stating that he wanted to “free Muslims from Islam, the goal is for them to join SD instead.”

Strid’s inflammatory speech was recorded by Swedish broadcaster SVT and was shared online, in one instance by the group “Inte rasist, men” (Not racist, but) whose mission is to “showcase the inexhaustible source of humor and horror that the Sweden Democrats stand for.”

SD members distanced themselves from Strid’s comments, with party secretary Richard Jomshof, branding them “racist” and that he expected Strid to be expelled from the SD. Party leader, Jimmie Åkesson, echoed these sentiments, saying in an interview with SVT that Strid’s comments “may be the worst I have ever heard in such a context” and that it is “very close to racism.”

For his part, Strid apologised for his remarks. “It was very unfortunate and I expressed myself very clumsily,” the Local reports him as saying in an interview with news agency TT, he further said that he was aware his speech could be interpreted as saying Muslims are not 100 percent human.

“I have realised [this] and it’s very unfortunate. I know a lot of Muslims and am good friends with a lot. People are people, of course,” he said.”

  7. Iran general accuses US & Saudi Arabia of ‘creating ISIS to OVERTHROW Syria’ in power grab (express, Nov 27, 2017)
    https://www.express.co.uk/news/world/884693/Iran-ISIS-created-founded-US-Saudi-Arabia-war-Syria-government

“AN IRANIAN general has made the astounding claim that ISIS was created by Saudi Arabia and the US.

The evil terror group was formed by foreign powers to destroy Bashar al Assad’s Syrian regime, Brigadier General Hossein Salami said on TV.

Using the Arabic word for ISIS, he said: “Intelligence services of the US, Saudi Arabia, Israel, the United Arab Emirates and certain other countries, the naming of which is not in our interest for now, created Daesh to overthrow the Syrian administration.”

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard general went on to say that arms were transported to Islamist militants in countries surrounding Syria.

He claimed Tehran had “information” that hundreds of US cargo flights transported weapons in 2013 and 2014.

Saudi Arabia acts as the middleman in the scheme to arm militias, it was claimed.

Gen Salami said: “The threat of Daesh was very serious and if the domino effect of the fall of cities had continued, a big disaster would have threatened the Muslim world and even other countries.”

During the TV appearance he also vowed that Iran would extend its missile range beyond 2,000km (1243 miles) if Europe becomes a threat…”

  8. EU’s plan to ‘brainwash curriculum’ that pushes the dogma of Europe (expres, Nov 27, 2017)
    https://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/884365/EU-plan-school-curriculum-plans-Theresa-May-Brexit-Brussels-Diane-James

“PLANS to establish a European Education Area that would see pupils taught pro-EU rhetoric in schools have been dubbed “ever closer union on steroids”.

In yet another sinister sign of the creeping federalisation of the EU, Brussels chiefs have cemented plans to spend billions developing a joint EU curriculum, creating a new network of EU universities and introducing a new EU student card.

The blueprint, rubber-stamped in Strasbourg on November 14, also called for a cross-bloc education policy which “fosters a sense of European identity and culture” and focuses on “the European dimension of teaching”.

An EU Commission press release outlining the plans, due to come into force in 2025, states: “It is now time to greatly step up our ambition.”

It comes after Commission president Jean-Claude Juncker called for a new EU army and a new Eurozone minister in what has been described as an “unprecedented power grab” by Brussels.

Independent MEP Diane James said: “This is ‘ever closer union’ on steroids. Not since the Treaty of Maastricht in 1992 have we witnessed such a growth in the authority of Brussels.

“Now we learn that the EU wishes to take control of how teachers are trained and, presumably, what they can teach in an alarming assault on academic independence.

“The proposals also set out plans to use EU funding in education. The main point here is that EU funding is only available for programmes that are consistent with the aims and goals of the EU.

“Put another way, Brussels would like to mobilise funding to preach the rhetoric that the European Union is a force for good. This is a very worrying development. Those with any lingering doubts as to the wisdom of Brexit, should take note; if the UK were to stay in the EU we would be handing over the control of education to Brussels.”

She added: “Young minds are impressionable but is this degree of EU political brainwashing really appropriate in the western world?”

Under Article 6 of the Lisbon Treaty, the EU only has the ability to support, co-ordinate or enhance member states’ efforts in this policy area.

However, the recent proposals seem to take the EU’s powers several steps further without the need for an extra treaty.

The stated goals of the EEA are enhancing student mobility (cross-border study programmes), expanding participation in the European Solidarity Corps, which creates work or volunteer opportunities for young people; an EU Student card to store information on a person’s academic records, and harmonisation and mutual recognition of diplomas across the EU.

The EU Commission also wants to multiply the number of teachers participating in the EU’s Erasmus+ programme and eTwinning network as well as offering policy guidance on the professional development of teachers and school leaders, creating a network of European universities and establishing a “School of European and Transnational Governance”.

The EEA will also have its own media service.

The proposals, which have not yet been costed but are thought to run into billions, appeared to go unnoticed when announced this month, being overshadowed by the deadlock in the Brexit negotiations…”

  10. Sri Lanka arrests 22 trying to go to Australia by boat (abcnews, Nov 27, 2017)
    http://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/sri-lanka-arrests-22-australia-boat-51401870

“Sri Lankan police said Monday that they have arrested 22 people who were attempting to illegally migrate to Australia by boat.

The suspects were arrested on a tip Sunday at the coastal town of Puttalam, about 120 kilometers (74 miles) north of the capital, Colombo, police spokesman Ruwan Gunasekara’s office said. They were to appear in court on Monday.

Sri Lankan and Australian authorities are cooperating with each other to combat human smuggling. No Sri Lankan asylum seekers have reached Australia by boat since 2013.

But Sri Lankans, Iranians and Afghans are the largest national groups among more than 2,000 asylum seekers living on the Pacific islands nations of Nauru and Papua New Guinea. Australia pays those countries to house them, but refuses to resettle any of them.

During a visit to Sri Lanka this month, Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull said he appreciated Sri Lanka’s strong cooperation in countering people smuggling and announced that Australia would give three Stabicraft vessels to Sri Lanka’s coast guard in an apparent bid to tackle human smuggling.”

  11. Pakistan law minister resigns, Islamists disband protest (abcnews, Nov 27, 2017)
    http://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/pakistan-law-minister-resigns-ceding-islamists-demand-51401087

“Pakistani Islamists announced on Monday they were disbanding their sit-in near Islamabad after the country’s law minister resigned, caving in to the protesters who have been demanding his ouster in a three-week-long rally.

After Zahid Hamid’s resignation, the Tehreek-i-Labaik Ya Rasool Allah party, which is behind the protest in Islamabad and other cities and towns across Pakistan, said they were dispersing peacefully.

The developments underscored how a small Islamist party was able to pressure the Pakistani government and force it to accept its demands through a protracted standoff that started earlier in November.

The Islamists had demanded Hamid’s resignation over an omitted reference to Islam’s Prophet Muhammad in a parliamentary bill. He apologized for the omission in the bill, saying it was a clerical error that was later corrected.

But the Islamists persisted, taking to the streets and setting up their sit-in at the Faizabad intersection on the edge of the Pakistani capital.

Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal told the chief justice of the Islamabad High Court, Shaukat Sadiqui, on Monday that the government has signed an agreement with the rally organizers to avoid a “civil-war like situation.”

The Islamist party’s chief, Khadim Hussain Rizvi, told supporters at the Islamabad sit-that they “are immediately ending” the rally. He also thanked the army chief, Gen. Qamar Javed Bajwa, for facilitating the agreement, under which Hamid would resign and all detained party activists would be freed…”

  12. After marijuana, are magic mushrooms next to be decriminalised in California?

Mayoral candidate near San Francisco seeks signatures to put decriminalisation on statewide ballot next year, saying drug could offer healing at time of crisis

As California prepares for the legalisation of recreational marijuana in 2018, one man is pushing for the state to become the first to decriminalise magic mushrooms.

Kevin Saunders, a mayoral candidate for the city of Marina, just south of the San Francisco Bay, has filed a proposal that would exempt adults over the age of 21 from any penalties over possessing, growing, selling or transporting psychedelic psilocybin mushrooms.

If he can get 365,880 voter signatures by the end of April 2018, the California Psilocybin Legalization Initiative will be placed on the statewide ballot.

Saunders thinks that now is the right time because, he says, the drug can help bridge the current political divide and restore a sense of community.

  13. Vietnam court jails blogger for seven years for ‘propaganda’ over spill

(Reuters) – A court in Vietnam jailed a blogger on Monday for seven years for “conducting propaganda against the state”, the latest action against a critic of the one-party state.

Nguyen Van Hoa, 22, rose to prominence after a toxic waste spill from a steel mill built by Taiwan’s Formosa Plastics Corp’s Vietnam unit that polluted more than 200 km (125 miles) of coast, sparking rare protests in the Communist Party-ruled country.

Despite sweeping economic reforms and growing openness to social change, including gay, lesbian and transgender rights, Vietnam retains tight media censorship and its government does not tolerate criticism.

  15. Barely a quarter of Catalans want to pursue split from Spain: poll

MADRID (Reuters) – Barely a quarter of Catalans want to continue with a plan to claim independence from Spain in the wake of Dec. 21 regional elections, according to a poll published in El Pais newspaper on Monday.

An illegal Catalan independence referendum on Oct. 1 plunged Spain into its worst political crisis in decades. It eased after the sacking of the secessionist Catalan authorities by the Madrid government elicited little resistance. But uncertainty could return if the pro-independence camp wins in the Dec. 21 vote.

Just 24 percent of those polled by Metroscopia said they would like to continue with the independence process after the elections, whereas 71 percent said they would prefer politicians to find an agreement based on Catalonia staying part of Spain.

  19. MSNBC guest claims that GOP is a ‘domestic terror group’ that should be locked up
By Joe Newby November 27, 2017

On Saturday, Fernand Amandi, a Democratic pollster and frequent guest on MSNBC’s “AM Joy,” declared the Republican Party is a “domestic terror group” and went so far as to say that Republicans should be locked up.

“You know, Florida and many other states would be decimated — Florida’s children, other children. And I think it leads to the question: Is it any surprise that the party that is pro-pay-for-play, pro-Putin, and now with Roy Moore, pro-pedophilia, the fact that they’re anti-children, is that any surprise? I don’t think it is. And I think, Joy, this is emblematic — this CHIP scenario where you mentioned nine million children — children — without health insurance,” he told Reid in response to a question about the number of children on CHIP in Florida.

“I think if you take a step back, one has to ask themselves — and I think the American people should ask themselves the broader question: What has the Republican in the last ten years done to help the American people? What have they done? This is not a political party — this is a domestic terror group. And I think what the American people should consider when they ask themselves that question — with a party that has done nothing to help the American people — is to vote them out and consider possibly afterwards locking them up, Joy,” he added.

    NewsBusters’s Brad Wilmouth commented:

The Democratic pollster — known for making wildly over the top statements on the show — made his hyperbolic comments about locking up Republicans not in response to any sort of charges of legal wrongdoing, but instead in response to simply having a policy disagreement about how to handle the CHIP program.

The rest of the panel behaved as if the off the wall remarks were simply a normal conversation as no one commented on his absurdity, with even Republican panel member Katon Dawson just calmly responding that he believed the CHIP program would be renewed.

    • I don’t know which is worse, the comments themselves of the way everyone on the panel (even the Republican) acted as if they were everyday comments that could be ignored.

      • The left uses the term “de-platform”.
Throw out the whole thing – the panel, the couch, the studio, the network.
Legacy media is enemy propaganda, promoting fake and unhealthy extremism. Antifa with a peacock mask.

      • A lay synopsis on US speech law:
        https://www.nolo.com/legal-encyclopedia/defamation-law-made-simple-29718.html
In the landmark 1964 case of New York Times v. Sullivan, the U.S. Supreme Court held that certain defamatory statements were protected by the First Amendment. The court made a rule that public officials could sue for statements made about their public conduct only if the statements were made with “actual malice.”
“Actual malice” means that the person who made the statement knew it wasn’t true, or didn’t care whether it was true or not and was reckless with the truth — for example, when someone has doubts about the truth of a statement but does not bother to check further before publishing it.
Private people who are defamed have more protection than public figures — freedom of speech isn’t as important when the statements don’t involve an issue of public interest. A private person who is defamed can prevail without having to prove that the defamer acted with actual malice.

  20. A former New Democrat MP will attempt to convince the chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Court this week to include Canada in her investigation into possible war crimes in Afghanistan, CBC News has learned.

Craig Scott, an Osgoode Hall law professor who was defeated in the 2015 election, will hand deliver a 90-page brief to the court in the Hague, arguing that successive federal governments “abdicated” their responsibility to investigate reports of torture.

He is urging Fatou Bensouda, who has been the ICC’s chief prosecutor since 2012, to make key Canadian politicians and military officers “central to any investigation.”

The filing, a copy of which was obtained by CBC News, says the current Liberal government and the former Conservative administration had many opportunities to investigate claims that suspected Taliban militants, captured by Canadians but handed over to Afghanistan’s notorious intelligence agency, had been tortured.

  21. Net neutrality and the battle-bots
    By J.E. Dyer November 27, 2017

The Federal Communications Commission reportedly will vote sometime in December to repeal the Title II “net neutrality” restrictions imposed on Internet service providers by the Obama-era FCC.

In preparation for that freighted vote – which activists are heralding with protests outside FCC Chairman Ajit Pai’s home, addressing his minor children by name and calling their dad a “murderer” – Web-content analysts have posted competing data summaries on the comments submitted to the FCC for and against repeal.

  22. Black nurse in children’s hospital tweets white sons are a ‘detriment to society, should be sacrificed’
By Ben Bowles November 26, 2017

Her name is Taiyesha Baker, and she is determined to go out in a blaze of loathing.

Baker, who tweets using the handle Night Nurse, probably didn’t intend to be the center of a controverssy, but the story has evolved quickly since Indianapolis Fox affiliate WXIN reported on Saturday that “Indiana University Health was investigating after one of their nurses allegedly posted a controversial Tweet that surfaced Friday on social media.”

The tweet, which seems to have been scrubbed from Baker’s account, is still preserved in retweets, including this one by the Philadelphia Globe, which sheds further light on Baker’s specific place of employment: Riley’s Children’s Health:

Count how baby boys died while she was on duty. Or how many will if she’s allowed to stay on. Only a matter of time.

      • She was fired. Checking out how many died while she was on duty is a good idea, the question is will the hospital have guts enough?

  23. Oh Oh… Black Actor Denzel Washington is once again in hot water with the American Left and its social warrior hacks in the media and on social media who just can’t stand to hear the truth!

Although Washington has always been known for his right-leaning views this time the award-winning actor and director has really stepped in it by saying he believes that a strong family structure is a real cure for America’s mass incarceration problem. Especially when it comes to the African American community. The actor backed up his statement by saying that it all starts in the home. He later added that it’s how you raise your kids and if that kid doesn’t have a father figure, as 78% of African Americans don’t, then that child doesn’t have much of a chance of not ending up in prison during his lifetime.

  24. The woman asked for help after the group violence in Fittja – was told she was disgusting

The woman was raped by several men in a stairwell in August last year. Up to 20 people may have been involved, and she was also subjected to abuse. After the men had left the stairwell, she rang a doorbell and asked the resident to call the police. But he did not care but just saw her getting out of the door, she told the police.
Instead, she went to Fittja center for help. Several of her passerby asked her what she had been with. When she told her that she had been raped she was told, “But, uh, you have sperm on the face and on the clothes, do not involve us,” as evident from hospital documents.
“A guy like NN went to tell her that she was disgusting and that she had sperm in her hair.” The woman then tried to get help at the barrier at the subway station. “the guy at the booth just opened the barriers and waved to NN that she would pass. He had no interest in helping her, “according to interrogation.
The woman took the subway to central Stockholm where she contacted the police, and was helped to get to the hospital
Metro has reported in several articles about the group violence in Fittja. Sperm secured on women’s clothes was matched at the end of last year against three suspected offenders. However, they were not arrested until June this year because of a lack of resources at the police, according to prosecutor Markus Hankkio.
Then it was also discovered that the police had investigated wrong stairwells and had to make a new crime scene investigation. Sperm was found and could be matched to a 22-year-old man charged with assaulting gross rape. A 28-year-old man was charged with the same crime. They will have laughed and filmed the rape with mobile cameras, according to the prosecution.
Three men between 19 and 23 years old were charged with gross rape. The accused denies crimes, and now the trial is ongoing.

    Timeline: Group violence in Fittja
August 14, 2016. A 30-year-old reports that she has been exposed to a group violence in Fittja. Up to 20 people may have been involved, according to the police, who are investigating the stairwell where they believe the rape has been carried out.
December 2016: Seed secured to the woman’s body is analyzed at the NFC National National Center, and can be matched to three suspects – now 19, 21 and 23 years old.
March 2017: 21-year-old arrested suspected of gross crimes and drug offenses. He will be released after a few weeks.
    June 16, 2017: 21-year-old, 19-year-old and 23-year-old arrested suspected of serious rape.

    https://www.nbcnews.com/storyline/europes-border-crisis/15-200-children-arrive-europe-own-migrant-crisis-deepens-n824106

“More than 15,200 children arrived alone in Europe this year after completing dangerous migrant journeys, according to the United Nations.

A total of almost 150,000 people entered Europe seeking new lives during the first nine months of 2017, the UNHCR agency said in a quarterly update titled “Desperate Journeys.”

That’s under half the number in 2016, which saw record-setting levels of migration, but still creates headaches for governments struggling to process arrivals and prevent children from being exposed to exploitation.

“Concerns remain high that many women and girls arriving in Europe are victims of trafficking,” the report said…”

“BRITAIN is dominated by “political correctness” where no-one dare tell the truth anymore, controversial singer Morrisey has said.

The former Smiths frontman went on to day British people who tell the truth lose their job.

The pro-Brexit musician launched a furious tirade on the political establishment claiming “nobody tells the truth about anything”.

He added: “If you tell the truth in England, you’ll lose your job”.

The former Smiths frontman claimed the UK was in a “state of cultural tragedy” as he tore in to Prime Minister Theresa May and opposition Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn.

In an interview with the Sunday Times, the 58-year-old said: “Corbyn has had many opportunities to take a strike against Theresa May and he has resisted.

“It’s hard to believe that this is the best England can produce at this stage of the game.

“We survived Thatcher by the skin of our teeth and somehow we’re still alive and we are presented with Theresa May and Jeremy Corbyn.

“Pakistani police say they have arrested ten people for killing a newly-wed couple who entered into a free-will marriage in the southern port city of Karachi.

Officer Qasim Hameed said Monday that Abdul Hadi, 24, and Hasina Bibi, 19, were killed by relatives last week for marrying without permission from their elders earlier this month.

Qasim said Hadi’s father and nine other relatives were arrested after the couple’s bodies were found in a local graveyard on Sunday. He said Bibi’s father has absconded.

He added that the men confessed to murdering the couple with knives upon the orders of a “Jirga,” or tribal council, for dishonoring their Pashtun culture.

Nearly 1,000 Pakistani women are killed by close relatives each year in so-called honor killings.”

About a dozen windows were shattered overnight at the Muslim center, which opened in 2015 and includes a mosque, a meeting center, a shop and a restaurant. No one was hurt.

  32. POWER STRUGGLE: Govt. Agency Sues Trump

The federal official tapped by an outgoing Obama appointee to lead the Consumer Financial Protection Agency filed a lawsuit on Sunday challenging President Trump’s decision to instead appoint his budget director to the post – setting up a Monday showdown at the controversial agency.

The disputed appointment has pitted the Trump White House and Justice Department against top congressional Democrats, with House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., saying Deputy Director Leandra English should serve as acting director until a new boss is confirmed.

“[T]he Trump administration is ignoring the established, proper, legal order of succession that we purposefully put in place, in order to put a fox in charge of a hen house,” Schumer said in a statement.

English, who was named the successor to the top position at the agency by its outgoing director, is now seeking in court a declaratory judgment and temporary restraining order to block White House budget director Mick Mulvaney from taking over the bureau. She claims Trump did not have the authority to make that appointment.

  33. Russia’s Dangerous Nuclear “Diplomacy”

Russia has been trying to relieve itself of the economic slowdown it has faced ever since the West imposed sanctions on it for invading the Ukraine. To that end, Russia’s state owned nuclear energy organization, Rosatom, of Uranium One stardom, has been attempting to develop nuclear cooperation with most of the countries in the Middle East. Russia apparently considers the Middle East and North Africa two of the most lucrative markets; countries in the Middle East have already expressed interest in building 90 nuclear power plants at twenty-six sites across the region by 2030.

The Russian government has strongly supported the success of a company globally. Rosatom, for instance, already opened a regional office in Dubai, even though the United Arab Emirates does not have nuclear cooperation with Russia and cooperates with South Korea instead.

Russia, active during the “Iran deal” negotiations as a mediator between the E3 (Britain, Germany, France) with the United States on one side and Iran on the other, was one of the countries to gain from the Iranian nuclear deal – as was Rosatom. Russia, in 2015, signed nuclear cooperation agreements with both Iran and Jordan.

Would you be inclined to buy makeup because a 10-year-old boy is showing you how to create a look on Instagram? If we’re talking about Jack Bennett of @makeuupbyjack, then the answer could well be a resounding yes.

Since convincing his mother to start his account in May, young Mr. Bennett, who lives in Berkshire, England, has amassed 331,000 followers and attracted the attention of brands like MAC and NYX, which have offered products to create looks. Refinery29 has celebrated him as the next big thing in makeup.

He is the latest evidence of a seismic power shift in the beauty industry, which has thrust social media influencers to the top of the pecking order. Refreshingly, they come in all shapes, sizes, ages and, more recently, genders. Hailed by Marie Claire as the “beauty boys of Instagram,” the early male pioneers, like Patrick Simondac (@PatrickStarrr), Jeffree Star (@jeffreestar) and Manny Gutierrez, (@MannyMua733), have transcended niche to become juggernauts with millions of followers. And their aesthetic is decidedly new: neither old-school-rocker makeup nor drag queen.

  36. CBC – Donald Trump, Robert Mueller, and Russia’s potential role in the 2016 election

Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign manager Paul Manafort was recently arrested and charged with money laundering and “Conspiracy against the United States” — stemming from his long history of business dealings with Russia and Ukraine. And, just now, there is news that Trump’s disgraced former national security adviser, Michael Flynn, may be co-operating with the Robert Mueller investigation into Russian involvement in the election.

A new book suggests that Trump could face similar charges as a result of his own long history of doing business with Russians. The author of Collusion: How Russia Helped Trump Win the White House is Luke Harding, a leading investigative journalist at the British newspaper The Guardian. The CBC’s Terence McKenna recently sat down with Harding in London.

  37. The “Black Friday” Massacre at the Sinai Mosque: The Islamic State Is Still Alive and Kicking

The massacre at the Sufi mosque in northern Sinai on Nov. 24 marks the first time Islamic State has committed a mass-casualty attack on Muslim civilians in Egypt. ISIS wants to demonstrate that, though defeated in Iraq and Syria, it continues to exist and remains devoted to its goal of creating an Islamic caliphate through violence and terror.

Islamic State sees Sufis as heretics. In 2013, ISIS terrorists blew up the tombs of the Sufi Sheikh Salim Abu Jarir in Mazar and Sheikh Hamid in Al-Mughara, both in Sinai. In Nov. 2016, Islamic State terrorists murdered 90-year-old Sheikh Sulaiman Abu Haraz, the senior Sufi sheikh in Sinai. The Sufis’ desire to take revenge against Islamic State for the mosque massacre appears likely to intensify clashes in northern Sinai between different armed groups

The Egyptian army suffers from a lack of quality intelligence in Sinai. The terror organizations there, numbering 2-3,000 operatives, can merge into the population. They enjoy financial support and a regular supply of weapons that comes from Qatar, according to Egyptian intelligence.

    http://jcpa.org/black-friday-massacre-sinai-mosque/
    ………
    Notice a couple things:
    • The MB is still working to take over the Egyptian govt. It’s supported finacially and tactically by Turkey and Qatar.
    • There’s a major tribal dynamic here: The local Bedouin tribe, Al-Sawarka, supports Sisi; they’re viewed as collaborators by the terrorists. The Sufi angle is somewhat of a diversion from the MB/al-Q/ ISIS dynamics.
    • The locals will seek revenge.

    • In Egypt, Furious Retaliation but Failing Strategy in Sinai

“The Egyptians have failed to acknowledge that ISIS is not just a terrorism threat,” said Andrew Miller, a former Egypt specialist at the National Security Council. “Killing terrorists is not sufficient. They need to deprive ISIS of local support, which is rooted in Cairo’s historical neglect of the Sinai.”

Sinai presents a formidable arena for counterinsurgency that would challenge the most capable army: It is a vast terrain of desert and mountains, with long shorelines and a semiporous back door into Gaza, which is controlled by Hamas. The collapse of Libya in 2011 has ensured a steady flow of weapons ever since.

      https://www.nytimes.com/2017/11/25/world/middleeast/egypt-sinai-mosque-attack-sufi.html?_r=0
      ………..
Both the NYSlimes and Haaretz try the “CVE” explanation. (No kidding!)
      – -This is a disadvantaged region, no hope for the young. boo-hoo

      – -Smuggling revenue is down; smuggling is part of Bedouin culture!
Sisi goes after smugglers with both barrels.
We’re not talking about a handful of filthy ragheads with bags of hashish under their nightgowns. This is a massive, coordinated flow of armaments and other contraband from MB based abroad to sympathizers in Egypt and jihadis returned Syria and Iraq.

Sisi’s desperate to stop the flow, cutting off Hamas tunnels and interdicting shipments from Libyan bases. The various jihadi-group identities are all the same: MB, ISIS, al-Q.

They intend to wear down the Egyptian army, police, and eventually the people of Egypt. Starvation might do what terrorists will never achieve.

    • Egyptian village where mosque was attacked had been warned

Elders of a village in Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula where militants killed 305 people in a mosque had been warned by Islamic State operatives to stop collaborating with security forces and to suspend Sufi rituals, security officials and residents said Sunday. As many as 15 million Egyptians belong to Sufi orders.

Mohammed Ibrahim, a university student from the village, said militants had warned residents a few days before Friday’s attack not to collaborate with security forces, following the detention three weeks ago by villagers of three militants who were handed over to security forces.

The militants also distributed leaflets several times ordering villagers not to cooperate with security forces and to abandon Sufism.…

The mosque is frequented by Sufis and is the local headquarters of the prominent Sufi sect, or tareeqah, founded by the local al-Jerir clan, a branch of the powerful Al-Sawarkah tribe.…

Security officials say IS militants infiltrated the area of Bir al-Abd and Al-Rawdah several months ago, opening a new front in the mostly desert region away from the main theater of operations in el-Arish and the towns of Rafah and Sheikh Zuwail to the east.

They have since waged deadly attacks on police and military forces, although the region has yet to attract the kind of heavy security seen elsewhere in the trouble spots of northern Sinai….

  38. Eeyore you were wondering about when the Moslems started celebrating degenerate Mo’s birthday, here is whatI have found.

    https://www.facebook.com/notes/al-quran-al-hadeeth-verses/ruling-on-celebrating-prophets-birthday-eid-milad-un-nabi/199398146740715

Among the reprehensible innovations that people have invented is the celebration of the birthday of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) in the month of Rabee’ al-Awwal.

Did the Sahaabah celebrate the Mawlid/Milad?The Sahaabah were witnesses to the revelation of the Qur’aan. They had the Prophet right in front of their eyes. They ate, drank, sat, slept, talked, walked, lived with the Prophet (Sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam). If they misunderstood anything or were mistaken, the Prophet (Sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam) immediately corrected them. And thus, their understanding and practice of Islaam was the best.

Yet, when we look at the lives and practice of the Sahaabah, we find that none of them EVER celebrated the birth of their beloved Prophet, whether during his life or even after he passed away. Not Abubakr, not Umar, not Uthman, not Ali, nor Aaishah, Ibn Umar, Ibn Masud, Talha, Az-Zubair, not a single Sahaabi.Doesn’t that prove anything?

The Sahaabah absolutely loved the Prophet (Sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam)They gave up their homes, families, lives, everything they had… for his sake, in the blink of an eye. Yet this love did NOT promote them to celebrate his birth.

This love translated into the practical application of his teachings and NOT picking the 12th of Rabi-ul-Awwal as a day of celebration.

    • LET’S ANALYZE

1-ABU BAKR RA ruled for more or less 2 years (never celebrated)

2-UMAR FAROOQ RA ruled for more or less 10 years (never celebrated)

3-USMAN GHANI RA ruled for more or less 12 years(never celebrated)

4-ALI BIN ABI TALIB RA ruled for mroe or less 4 years (never celebrated)

when all these great caliphs didn’t celebrate then who are we to transgress ?

      Why it is not allowed?

  39. 1)it is not part of the Sunnah of the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) or of the khaleefahs who succeeded him. Since this is the case, then it is a forbidden innovation, because the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “I urge you to follow my Sunnah and the way of the rightly-guided khaleefahs after me; adhere to it and cling to it firmly. Beware of newly-invented things, for every newly-invented thing is an innovation (bid’ah) and every innovation is a going-astray.” (Narrated by Ahmad, 4/126; al-Tirmidhi no. 2676)

2 – Celebrating the birthday of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) is an imitation of the Christians, because they celebrate the birth of the Messiah (peace be upon him). Imitating them is extremely haraam.

Whoever imitates a people is one of them” (narrated by Ahmad, 2/50; Abu Dawood, 4/314). And he said, “Be different from the mushrikeen” (narrated by Muslim, 1/222, no. 259) – especially with regard to things that are the symbols or rituals of their religion.

3 – Besides being bid’ah and an imitation of the Christians, both of which are haraam, celebrating the birthday of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) is also a means that leads to exaggeration and excess in venerating him, which even goes as far as calling upon him (making du’aa’ to him) and seeking his help, instead of calling upon Allaah, as happens now among many of those who observe the bid’ah of the Mawlid, when they call upon the Messenger instead of Allaah, and ask him for support, and sing qaseedahs (odes) of shirk praising him

    • My family didn’t make Hanukah into Christmas. We lit candles, but no family gift-giving or ersatz decorations. My Dad was offended by “equal-time” demands for menorahs in public places. It’s Christmas, for heaven’s sake!

We enjoyed Christmas together with Christian family friends. Brought them flowers and liquor, they always had something for us kids.

      • The equal time for other religions was one of the first major attacks on Christianity. The left wants to destroy Christianity and Judaism, for a long time they used misinterpretations of the Constitution as their only weapon, now they are using Islam as their major weapon. They have hurt Christianity but it is still fairly strong out here in fly over country.

        • Evangelical Christians are the strongest supporters of the nation-state of the Jewish people. Their tourist dollars are consistent, come Hell or Hezbollah.

Not always made to feel welcome in Israel, though. Some were too open in their efforts to convert Jews. Others are more cagey, but their websites contain offensive missionary statements.
Bring them to Jesus or they’ll burn! No Messiah till all Jews convert or die!

  40. Christmas Threat Against Times Square in New ISIS Santa Poster
By Bridget Johnson November 27, 2017

An ISIS supporter released on the group’s social media haunts a poster of Santa Claus overlooking Times Square with a case of dynamite at his side.

In the image, the New York streets are filled with pedestrians at nighttime and Santa carries a bulky red sack.

“We meet at Christmas in New York… soon,” reads the text on the image.

It follows propaganda posters making holiday threats toward Europe, with a hand holding a bloody knife before a market in the neighborhood of the Eiffel Tower and a black-clad jihadist standing over Santa on London’s Regent Street.

The threat also comes as the ISIS-supporting Wafa’ Media Foundation has released numerous threats against the holiday and against the Vatican. In a message to fellow jihadists last week, the group noted that “the crusaders’ feast is
