  1. North Korea warns US it will ‘respond to fire with fire’ saying UN sanctions would be attempt to declare war

The Kim Jong-Un regime continues to ramp up the war of words, adding that the US will have to put up with North Korea’s nuclear status

North Korea has warned it will ‘respond to fire with fire’ as the war of words with the US continues.

An official for the country’s foreign ministry made the alarming statement today, adding that the US will just have to put up with North Korea’s military status.

Choe Son-hui, director-general of the North American department of North Korea’s foreign ministry, said possession of nuclear weapons was ‘a matter of life and death’ for the regime as they are needed to respond to potential attack.

But the secretive state does not plan on having any talks with the US, the spokesman added.

Furthermore, the Choe told a non-proliferation conference in Moscow his country sees any attempt to ‘strangle’ North Korea via UN sanctions was an attempt to declare war.

  2. EXCLUSIVE: Mandalay Bay owner insisted security guard Jesus Campos appear ONLY on Ellen and not be grilled by TV hardhitters fearing his answers to timeline questions could result in massive lawsuits from victims of the massacre

Mandalay Bay shooting hero Jesus Campos was pressured into giving his only interview to Ellen DeGeneres because the giant company that owns the Las Vegas casino feared he would spill the beans about the shooting timeline if he was grilled by real journalists, DailyMail.com has learned exclusively.

MGM is worried that families of the 58 people murdered as well as many of the 546 injured in the Mandalay Bay massacre will launch lawsuits potentially worth billions of dollars against the company, sources tell DailyMail.com.

And they thought Campos might not keep his story straight under the pressure of the TV lights and tough questioning.

That is why Campos, 25, appeared on a daytime chat show hosted by a fast-talking, dancing comedienne, rather than take questions from TV hardhitters such as Fox News’ Sean Hannity, NBC News or ABC News.

‘MGM was behind the decision to call off all the interviews and did a deal with Ellen, knowing she would not play hardball on the timeline as long as she had the exclusive,’ a TV insider told DailyMail.com.

    • That is why Campos, 25, appeared on a daytime chat show hosted by a fast-talking, dancing comedienne…

That would be a “fast-talking, dancing, OVERTLY LESBIAN, comedienne”. As in, someone that could possibly manage to sympathize with the shooter (or shooters) regarding the mass-killing of Christian White Conservatives.

There is a conspicuous degree of reluctance—being shown by everybody except the actual victims—that anyone should apprehend the truth about this mass-murder. That, in and of itself, is particularly noticeable and shrieks of CYA at epidemic levels.

Read, the 1998 edition of “Mayday”, by authors Thomas Block and Nelson DeMille*. The plot centers on how nearly all parties involved want a badly damaged Transpacific supersonic passenger airliner to NOT make it home. This novel is just about a roadmap for the Vegas slaughter.

      * Nelson DeMille is emerging as one of my favorite “new” authors. New, as in recently discovered by me. All Vietnam vets should consider reading “Up Country”, an account of a military veteran returning to visit his areas of combat in an attempt to solve a mysterious incident.

Those looking for some serious laughs will enjoy “The Gold Coast”. Its wisecracking protagonist lawyer is a one-man launching pad for hilarious zingers like:

Q: Why does the mafia hate Jehovah’s Witnesses?

A: The mafia hates all witnesses.
      ———————————-
Q: Why do so many women like won ton soup?

A: Because “won ton” spelled backwards is “not now”.
      ———————————-
Finally, for those who enjoy a good, old-fashioned Cold War thriller, “The Charm School” is sure to please. Unlike many modern authors, DeMille maintains a relatively linear plot line populated with three dimensional characters. The author also has a delightfully nasty attitude towards Islamic terrorists and Political Correctness in general.

  3. Motion filed to preserve evidence in 1 October shooting

    LAS VEGAS (KSNV NEWS3LV) —

Mandalay Bay and its corporate owner MGM Resorts have been ordered not to destroy anything that could be considered evidence in a civil negligence trial over events related to the Route 91 music festival.

The order was sought by attorneys who represent Rachel Sheppard, a California woman who survived the attack, despite being shot in the chest three times.

“The shooter was in that hotel for six days,” says attorney Brian Nettles.

    http://news3lv.com/news/local/motion-filed-to-preserve-evidence-in-1-october-shooting

      • Any large-scale operation like a casino is literally forced to have a COLO (i.e., a “co-location” mirror of its in-house servers at a distant site which would not be subject to damage in case of natural disaster or arson). To not do so would be a fairly blatant violation of GBP (Good Business Practices). If both data bases were tampered with, that would constitute a frank admission of culpability.

This is why MGM is going full metal jacket with its CYA routine. Jesus Campos needs to be deposed before a grand jury at the soonest possible opportunity. As others have noted, resolving the timeline issues is key to making a complete and full investigation.

Unfortunately, any resolution of those timeline issues will result in rather prompt identification of whatever culpable parties are involved—with concomitant multimillion dollar lawsuits to follow soon thereafter. As always, the theme song remains, “Follow the Money”.

        • Getting the full facts on this one is going to be close to impossible, so many different time lines have polluted the evidence pool and turned the conspiracy theory community loose. This combined with the newly emerging evidence of FBI corruption in the Uranium one case means that even if the full facts are turned loose it will be hard to keep from thinking that there is a lot more evidence hidden.

District Judge Mark Denton approved the request and scheduled another hearing for Oct. 30. Brad Brian, a Los Angeles attorney representing MGM, resisted a broad restraining order, and told the judge that FBI agents had taken over the gunman’s suite, collecting evidence including Paddock’s records with gaming companies.

The casino company later released a statement through a public relations firm.
“This was a terrible tragedy perpetrated by an evil man,” the statement read. “We have no intention of renting that room. We’ve been cooperating with law enforcement from the moment this happened, which includes preserving evidence.”
Other defendants named in the lawsuit are Live Nation Entertainment, the concert host; Slide Fire Solutions, a Texas company that manufactures bump stocks; and Paddock’s estate.

Sheppard, 26, suffered three gunshot wounds in the attack, which killed 58 people.
Nettles said Sheppard’s condition “continues to improve daily.” On Wednesday, she was transfered to a rehab facility near her home in Bakersfield, California. “However, the long-term implications remain to be seen. She still has two bullets in her body and is facing a long recovery process.”
The attorney added that evidence from the festival grounds should be preserved along with anything in the hotel suite.
“For my client, for this community, it will give them peace of mind,” Nettles said. “That’s what people need right now. They need peace of mind, and they need answers. That’s exactly what my client gets. That’s all we’re looking for in this case.”

The lawsuit alleges negligence against the hotel company, as well as battery, assault and intentional infliction of emotional distress against Paddock’s estate, and gross negligence and product liability against Slide Fire.
Among the allegations in the complaint: MGM failed to surveil people entering and leaving the hotel, failed to notice Paddock taking weapons to his suite, failed to check inside the room for three days after a “do not disturb” sign was hung on the door, and failed to respond to the shooting of Mandalay Bay security officer Jesus Campos.

      • We have no intention of renting that room. We’ve been cooperating with law enforcement from the moment this happened, which includes preserving evidence.

This doesn’t exactly jibe with the cordon sanitaire that MGM is erecting around star witness, Jesus Campos. So far, not a single element of this entire case passes even the most lenient smell test.

        • The wrongful death suit is saying that the Hotel should have stopped the man from entering the hotel with firearms. Yes his action were suspicious and should have been notice and the police notified but it is not illegal for someone to own firearms or to take them into hotels. This suit claiming that the Hotel should have foreseen a sniper one a mass murder mission is why the organizations are on a massive CYA mission. MGM has to say they want all of the fact out there but at the same time they are forced to conceal things and hamper the investigation because of the law suits already filed and those yet to be filed.

Until we get a real believable time line that fits the facts I am torn on how much the hotel and the other individuals and groups being sued are responsible. The ambulance chasers are busy and are forcing the innocent to act guilty giving the guilty cover.

  5. China’s 30-year deadline to rule the world

CHINA’S leader has laid out his ambitious plans for a superpower in a three-hour speech with huge implications for Australia.

BEIJING has outlined plans to become the world’s biggest superpower within the next 30 years.

Opening a five-yearly national congress, Chinese President Xi Jinping set out his time frame for the country to become a “global leader” with international influence.

In his 3 ½ hour speech, Mr Xi urged a reinvigorated Communist Party to take a stronger role in society and economic development to better address the nation’s “grim” challenges.

Speaking in the massive Great Hall of the People near Tiananmen Square, Mr Xi laid out his vision of a ruling party that served as the vanguard for everything from defending national security to providing moral guidance.

He also called for the party not only to safeguard China’s sovereignty but also to revitalise Chinese culture, oppose “erroneous” ideology and promote religion that is “Chinese in orientation”.

    http://www.news.com.au/finance/work/leaders/chinas-30year-deadline-to-rule-the-world/news-story/70f62a5bc0e4580b83d5ca89a2479e94

    • Pay close attention to this article and to Xi;s speech, Xi is playing for large stakes and is pushing hard because China’s economy is in such a bad state. If he can grab the resources of other nations and dominate those nations into paying tribute he can save Communist China. If he fails Communist China is going to follow Communist Russia down the toilet drain of hsitory.

The Australian Prime Minster has taken the Obama administration to heart and is trying to build a coalition to protect Australia in case the Democrats manage to elect another President in hte mild of Bill Clinton and Barrack Obama. I doubt that China would nuke Australia since a large portion of their food comes from that nation but they are fully capable of invading and seizing control of the Australia.

Xi talked about dominating the world politically, economically and leading the way in pollution control. They are a communist nation and communist politics and economics alwasy fail, and the Chinese record on pollution control is the worst in the world. Despite what the libs keep saying the US and Canada have the best records on pollution control and if the left will get out of the way of private entrprise and the free market we will come up with the technology that will clean up the rest of the world.

  6. Bill Clinton sought State’s permission to meet with Russian nuclear official during Obama uranium decision

As he prepared to collect a $500,000 payday in Moscow in 2010, Bill Clinton sought clearance from the State Department to meet with a key board director of the Russian nuclear energy firm Rosatom — which at the time needed the Obama administration’s approval for a controversial uranium deal, government records show.

Arkady Dvorkovich, a top aide to then-Russian President Dmitri Medvedev and one of the highest-ranking government officials to serve on Rosatom’s board of supervisors, was listed on a May 14, 2010, email as one of 15 Russians the former president wanted to meet during a late June 2010 trip, the documents show.

  7. Hillary Clinton’s Russian Ghost Stories

Russian intelligence targeted Hillary Clinton before she became secretary of state in 2009, FBI documents show.

New FBI information about corruption in a Clinton-approved uranium deal with Russia raises questions about Clinton’s actions after the FBI broke up a deep-cover Russian spy ring in 2010.

For a decade, the FBI ran an operation called Ghost Stories to monitor and rip apart a deep-cover Russian agent network. Ghost Stories tracked a ring Russian spies who lived between Boston and Washington, D.C., under false identities. It was one of the FBI’s most elaborate and successful counterintelligence operations in history.

After the FBI arrested 10 of the spies in June, 2010, Secretary of State Clinton worked feverishly to return the Russian agents to Moscow in a hastily arranged, lopsided deal with Putin.

They tear off the skin from the live sheep

Two farmers accused of illegal slaughter will not have to pay back the government

L’Avenir | Two farm leaders accused of allowing illegal slaughter of sheep, including removing skin from some of them before they died, will still be able to benefit from the money from the sale of the animals still alive.
Jonathan Bélanger-Cloutier and his father, Michel Cloutier, of the BSC farm, are awaiting a ruling on 17 counts for alleged offenses under Eid al-Adha (also called feast of the sheep), which they held every year for the Muslim population.

Two inspectors and a veterinarian from the Quebec Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPAQ) were dispatched to the lands of L’Avenir farm business near Drummondville on September 12, 2016. They found that not only did BSC carry out the slaughter without a permit, but that the slaughterers used a technique that made the animal suffer, they said.

It appears that the improper technique used does not allow a prompt death, because the cutting of the carotid arteries and jugular veins is not done on both sides or is incomplete despite several attempts. […] For some animals, the dressing procedure is started when they are not yet dead and air from a compressor is used to inflate the animal to facilitate removal of the skin, “reads a judgment of Judge Paul Dunnigan of the Court of Quebec.

MAPAQ veterinarian Eduardo Camacho Rugeles asked the owners to stop these activities, but they did not complied. They slaughtered animals the next day.
    Ailing
Investigators seized 83 sheep on the spot. Justice Dunnigan allowed the government to sell them to pay for the $ 66,547.17 handling and custody of the animals.
It is therefore a debt that disappears for both accused.

Beyond the slaughter, Judge Dunnigan agreed with the MAPAQ inspectors, who considered it necessary to seize the herd, considering that the beasts still alive were in a poor state.
In a report, the veterinarian Rugeles says that many of the animals in a nearby pen appeared sick or in poor condition, some sheep walking on their knees or on three legs, others coughing.
If found guilty, farmers face fines totaling $ 200,000.

Thank you for posting this, Kathy.

In an age where Politically Correct ideology has allowed Islamic terrorist atrocities to strip away all meaning from the concept of “man’s inhumanity to man”; how can there be any expectation that inhumane treatment of animals—especially those that qualify as “halal”—will garner an extra scintilla of public outrage?

As a colonial extension of Great Britain, it is reasonable to presume that Canadians might share an equal sense of revulsion about animal abuse (which Britons are so famous for). That this does not seem to be the case points towards two immediate conclusions:

1.) Canadian laws now complicate any public objection to “ethnic” animal abuse.

2.) Political Correctness prohibits open criticism of brutal “ethnic” slaughtering methods.

Neither of these outcomes promise much in the way of instituting humane policies. Not that Islam ever has promised anything of the sort.

The final question remains: What sort of unbelievable cruelty and viciousness (demanded by Muslims) will it take to ignite sufficiently fierce Western public objection about the sort of inhumanity that previously has been regarded as an indisputable violation of animal treatment laws?

As a corollary, since when did such willful disregard of these consummately civilized standards suddenly manage to be (as if they ever were) “negotiable”? More importantly, why has it become any sort of urgent priority to import into Western nations people whose beliefs disregard these fundamental aspects of compassionate animal husbandry?

Any Western politicians who are unable to provide an immediate and unambiguous answer need to face charges of violating their Oath of Office.

The notion that Western nations must somehow be obliged to embrace and accommodate people that treat their animals (much less their WOMEN) like so much chattel isn’t just offensive—it’s grounds for hostilities and whatever revolution that’s required to reverse such an affront to an enlightened populace.

      I’ll stop now.

White House Chief of Staff John Kelly confronts leftist congresswoman’s politicization of soldier’s death.

White House Chief of Staff John Kelly pushed back against a sleazy left-wing congresswoman who is trying to exploit a young soldier’s combat death in West Africa to score cheap political points against President Trump.

“I was stunned when I came to work yesterday morning, and broken-hearted at what I saw a member of Congress doing,” said Kelly, a retired Marine Corps general whose son was killed on the battlefield.

Without naming publicity-hungry Rep. Frederica Wilson (D), Florida’s flamboyant answer to Maxine Waters, Kelly referred to “a member of Congress who listened in on a phone call from the president of the United States to a young wife, and in his way tried to express that opinion — that he’s a brave man, a fallen hero, he knew what he was getting himself into because he enlisted.”

Wilson claimed Trump was insulting the widow and trivializing her husband’s death.

  14. How One Gold Star Widow Reacted to a Phone Call from President Trump
    October 20, 2017
    Daniel Greenfield

his isn’t the kind of story the media loves. It won’t give a politician in a goofy hat her 15 seconds of fame on CNN. It’s just reality.

Natasha De Alencar, the wife of Staff Sgt. Mark De Alencar of the 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne), was returning home from making t-shirts and pillowcases in memory of her husband when she was informed by a casualty assistance officer that Trump was on the phone for her, The Post said.

The phone call was made four days after her husband was killed, and was recorded by one of her five children.

“I am so sorry to hear about the whole situation,” Trump was heard saying. “What a horrible thing … except that he’s an unbelievable hero, and you know all of the people that served with him are saying how incredible he was and just an amazing guy.”

“I wanted to call you … he’s a great hero.”

“I want to thank you, President Trump. Those words are very kind. He was an amazing man, an amazing husband, and an amazing soldier. I couldn’t be more proud of my husband than I am right now, sir.

Trump then told Natasha of the praise De Alencar received from his comrades: “Everyone tells me how great, I mean he’s like, he was the leader, he was the boss, he was their friend. They all loved him. You know, just like you do.”

“I really appreciate it,” Natasha said. “I really do, sir. Thank you.”

Trump and Natasha then talked about her children and their talents before ending the call.

“You just take care of yourself and come around and see me when you’re in Washington, and say hello to your children and tell them their father was a great hero that I respected,” Trump said. “I learned a lot before I made the call. I like to learn and it’s amazing what kind of a guy he was.”

“So just tell them I said, ‘Your father was a great hero,'” Trump continued. “And take care of yourself, Natasha. I’m honored to talk to you.”

Natasha told The Post the conversation was “a moment of niceness that we needed because we were going through hell.”

Not all such conversations will go well.

You’re talking to someone who lost their husband or son. And to some extent, they can choose to blame you for what happened. Or they can just lash out because of the pain they’re feeling. That’s not the general rule. But it can happen. And the President of the United States may have the final responsibility for the decision, but he’s a stranger. And it’s why Kelly advised Trump not to make these calls.

President Trump has done them nonetheless.

And for the most part they’ve gone well. But they won’t always. If the media had any decency, it wouldn’t be doing this. But it doesn’t.

  15. SMOKING GUN: Bill Clinton Sought to Meet With Russian Nuclear Official
    October 20, 2017
    Daniel Greenfield

First, a little background from my previous article.

the nuclear materials that truly interested Hillary Clinton weren’t in Russian missiles or in Iranian reactors, but in the ground in Kazakhstan. By the time Hillary showed off the ‘Reset Button’, the Clintons had been enjoying a long relationship with Frank Giustra, a Canadian mining mogul. Giustra had moved tens of millions into Clintonworld and Bill built up his profile in Kazakhstan….

Giustra’s company had been bought by Uranium One. And the Russians were sniffing around Kazakhstan. Either the Russians would get Uranium One. Or they would expose the dubious ways that Uranium One had gotten its Kazakhstan mining rights. But if Rosatom, a Russian government corporation, bought into Uranium One, it would need approval from State because such a deal would provide Russia with control over more than 20% of America’s Uranium supply…

Good thing, Uranium One and Putin had a friend in Hillary Clinton. And not just Hillary.

And now to the latest piece of compelling reporting from John Solomon and Alison Spann

  16. The Global Failure of Globalization
    Can we survive its collapse?
    October 20, 2017
    Daniel Greenfield

“We cannot allow to fall back into pre-globalization times,” German Chancellor Angela Merkel warned.

Merkel was welcoming Obama back to Berlin for the last time. The election had been fought and won nine days earlier. And Obama and Merkel were defending globalism against President-elect Trump.

To Merkel and Obama, returning to pre-globalization times was every bit as mad as going back to the caves. Globalization had become synonymous with civilization. And its prophets, like Thomas Friedman, traced back its rise to the fall of the Berlin Wall in the city where Merkel and Obama were chatting.

But globalization didn’t bring down the Berlin Wall. Nationalism did. The pro-democracy activists wanted a country where the people had a voice. That’s the opposite of globalization in which there are no nations and only the influential figures of various stripes have any kind of impact.

Globalization built the Berlin Wall to unite East Germany with a Communist bloc built around a set of political ideas that disregarded nations and individual peoples. Leftists had drawn a deeply misguided lesson from the fall of Communism. Rather than attributing the fall to the overreach of central governments and unaccountable bureaucrats, they developed a new postmodern historical materialism of globalism. The Communist bloc had fallen not because of too much globalization, but because there wasn’t enough of it. There were still too many borders and nations. And they all had to fall like the Wall.

  17. Iranian Aggression Intensifies
UN ambassador Nikki Haley takes the “outlaw” regime to task.
    October 20, 2017
    Joseph Klein

Last July, Major General Mohammad Bagheri, the Iranian Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) military commander and chief of staff of Iran’s armed forces, warned that “putting the Revolutionary Guard in the terrorist lists with terrorist groups can be very costly to the United States and its military bases and forces in the region.” IRGC commander Mohammad Ali Jafari said on October 8th that “if the news is correct about the stupidity of the American government in considering the Revolutionary Guards a terrorist group, then the Revolutionary Guards will consider the American army to be like Islamic State all around the world.” The next day the Iranian regime warned of a “crushing” response if the United States were to designate the IRGC as a terrorist organization. President Trump has called the Iranian regime’s bluff with his announcement last week that he would do just that.

Designating the IRGC as a terrorist organization and imposing new sanctions for its aggressive actions in the region is not a restoration of the sanctions lifted by the Obama administration as part of its disastrous nuclear deal with Iran. If Iran insists it can do what it wants militarily in terms of missile launches, support of terrorist groups such as Hezbollah and Hamas, and arms transfers without violating the nuclear deal, then the United States can certainly act to curb such activities through financial pressure. The U.S. can impose sanctions against the Iranian regime’s principal instrument for projecting aggressive, destabilizing force outside of its borders without violating the nuclear deal. The Iranian regime does not see it that way, however.

  18. Israeli, Russian & Iranian Interests Collide In Syria
Russia takes on key role in de-escalating tensions between Israel and the Mullahs.
    October 20, 2017
    Ari Lieberman

On October 16, Syrian anti-aircraft units fired a SAM-5 anti-aircraft missile at Israeli planes conducting a reconnaissance mission over Lebanon. Israel frequently conducts these types of intelligence gathering operations over Lebanon to keep tabs on Hezbollah. The missile missed and all Israeli planes returned safely back to base. Shortly thereafter, Israel retaliated transforming the missile battery, located approximately 50 kilometers east of Damascus, into an expensive heap of scrap metal. Following the Israeli strike, an Israel Defense Force spokesman stated that Israel “hold[s] the Syrian regime responsible for the anti-aircraft fire and any attack originating from Syria.”

This isn’t the first time that the Syrians launched anti-aircraft missiles at Israeli fighter planes. In March, Israel intercepted and destroyed a Syrian SAM-5 missile with an Arrow anti-missile system. The Syrians had fired the missile during an Israeli air raid on a Syrian airbase known as T4 near the ancient Syrian city of Palmyra, which was believed to be housing Iranian weapons destined for Hezbollah. While the missile missed, Israeli radar operators who were tracking its flight path feared that the missile, with its 478lb warhead would land in Israeli territory prompting the commander on the scene to order a launch.

  19. “Trump’s Benghazi?” Americans Were Deployed to Niger Under Obama
    October 19, 2017
    Daniel Greenfield

Congresswoman Frederica Wilson is really gorging on her diet of media attention. And she’s come up with a new gimmick. “Trump’s Benghazi.”

The Florida Democratic congresswoman who clashed with President Donald Trump over his call to the widow of a soldier killed in an ambush in Niger wants Congress to investigate what she’s calling “Mr. Trump’s Benghazi.”

“The circumstances are similar,” Wilson said. She said in Niger, the four soldiers providing counterterrorism training “didn’t have appropriate weapons where they were. They were told by intelligence there was no threat. They had trucks that were not armored trucks. They were particularly not protected. Just like in Benghazi, they were given the impression that everything was fine.”

Wilson is predictably wrong and ignorant about everything.

  20. DAILY MAIL – CANADA –[ Muslim ] Man is found NOT guilty of raping his wife as court rules he genuinely believed he could have sex with her whenever he wanted

Man cleared of raping his wife after judge said he did not know it was against law

Both the man and his wife, a Palestinian, believed husbands had a right to sex
Rights groups have expressed disappointment at the ruling and plan a campaign

A man has been cleared of raping his wife after a judge ruled that he did not know his behaviour was criminal in Canada.

Ontario Superior Court Justice Robert Smith said prosecutors had failed to establish that the man knew it was against the law to have sex with his wife without her consent.

Justice Smith explained: ‘I find that the accused probably had sex with his wife on many occasions without her specific consent, as both he and she believed that he had the right to do so.’

The case related to an alleged assault in 2002, when the Palestinian woman – who became the man’s wife in an arranged marriage in Gaza – claimed he pulled her pants down and had sex with her despite her asking him three times to stop.

[…]The husband denied ever having sex with his wife without consent and also specifically denied the 2002 incident.

His defence was that during the period of the alleged incident, he had been told to abstain from sex after having a hair transplant.

But the judge dismissed it, explaining there was no evidence to show it was standard medical practice to abstain from sex in such cases.

The judge also said the husband was argumentative as a witness and said his defence was unbelievable.

A funeral was held for fallen Major General Issam Zehreddine of the Syrian Republican Guard in al-Swedaa on Friday, after he was killed in action during the battle to liberate Deir ez-Zor from self-proclaimed Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS, ISIL).

  22. Vets Sue Drug Companies for Funding Anti-US Islamist Militia

A group of U.S. military veterans and relatives of soldiers killed or wounded in Iraq filed suit against five pharmaceutical and medical equipment giants, accusing them of funding the Islamist terrorist militia responsible for the deaths of hundreds of American soldiers in Iraq.

As reported by The Financial Times, the lawsuit names the parent companies and subsidiaries of AstraZeneca, General Electric, Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer and Roche Holding.

These companies stand accused of paying bribes to the Iraqi Ministry of Health to win contracts. The ministry was known to be controlled by the Mahdi Army, an extremely anti-American, Shiite terrorist militia backed Hezbollah, the Iranian-funded Lebanese terrorist organization.

The suit charges that money from these bribes was used to fund the militia – allowing them to buy weapons, train fighters and conduct logistic support.

  23. The University of Hamburg has introduced a code of religious conduct – effect of misunderstood tolerance.

Over the years University of Hamburg was ruled by diversity, multiculturalism and tolerance. Especially religious tolerance. But it’s over. According to the German newspaper “Die Welt”, the school introduced first in Germany code of religious . This was necessary because the Muslim students, under the guise of religious freedom, tried to turn the university into a mosque.
They were proselytizing, trying to force Muslim students to wear Islamic headscarves. Salafi extremists walked in corridors and compelled everyone to pray. Non-Muslim students complained that their Muslim colleagues prayed loudly in the library and do ritual bath in the sanitary facilities. The professors were not able to recognize some of the students at the exams, because only their eyes were visible from beneath burkas.. What’s more, during the graduation ceremony many Muslim students refused to accept diplomas or certificates from the hands of female teachers. Conflicts occurred more frequently. . In short: Muslims tried to determine how far they can go. They have come up with consecutive demands, such as adapting teaching plans to Islamic practices, such as prayer, fasting (Ramadan), and religious holidays. They also demanded “halal” meals in the cafeteria.

For a long time management of the university allowed them to do so. However, there were so many complaints that they felt compelled to take action. On Wednesday, the president of the university Dieter Lenzen introduced a new “code of religious conduct”, which states that “religious freedom ends when it threatens the university’s scientific mission.” “The University of Hamburg is a secular institution,” says the document, which contains 10 points and has been distributed to all lecturers and students. Celebrating Muslim religious holidays on the territory of the university is now banned, as well as loud prayers in the library. And Islamic headscarves are allowed only if they do not impede “scientific” communication. The teacher must be able to recognize the student during the examinations, otherwise student will not be able to attend. “Continuous pressure on university staff will no longer be tolerated,” writes Lenzen and his colleagues. Halal meals will not be available either.

Previously, the Technical University of Dortmund reported problems with Muslim students. IN 2012 the management of the university created in the building of the physics department the so-called. “Room of silence”. Room of silence is a room where students were to relax between lectures. In 2016, the university decided to cancel this. The reason was that the Muslim students converted the room into the prayer room. In the room they distributed the Quran and “propaganda material in German and Arabic.” They also divided room into two parts – one for women and the other for men. The students who wanted to use the “silence room” were informed that they would enter it only if “they would wear a hijab and would quit using perfume”.

The closure of the room led to a Muslim protest. The management of the university reminded them that they constitute only 1.2%. TUD students. It did not impress them. They demanded that they be given “room for the exclusive use”. They added that they feel discriminated against. In their opinion this is “anti-Islamic racism”.

University in Hamburg had such a “silence room” too, but in 2006 it was liquidated because the Muslims tried to divide it into two parts – one for women and the other for men. Like in the Technical University of Berlin, the closure of the “silence room” has led to loud protests from Muslim students and a series of public prayers in front of the university building. They do not like the “Code of Religious Practice” of the Hamburg University, either. Bilal Gülbas, head of the Islamic university community, insisted that if Muslim students were no longer able to celebrate Ramadan, ” celebrating Christmas should be also prohibited.”

  24. Kill Them All: France on French ISIS Fighters
Home > World > France > Kill Them All: France on French ISIS Fighters
    By Elliot Friedland

The question of what to do with captured ISIS fighters has vexed many European countries who have nationals fighting for the terrorist group. With the fall of Raqqa, the de facto ISIS capital and reports of 400 ISIS fighters surrendering, that question has become more urgent.

France has a simple solution, as reported in The Times of Israel: Kill them.

“We are committed along with our allies to the destruction of Daesh (Islamic State) and we’re doing everything to that end,” French Defense Minister Florence Parly told reporters. “What we want is to go to the end of this combat and of course if jihadists die in the fighting, then I’d say it’s for the best.”

This fits with reports of previous French policy. When asked if the government of Emmanuel Macron would continue French policy of killing ISIS fighters with French citizenship, French government spokesman Christophe Castaner told reporters, “I say to all fighters who join the Islamic State group and then go abroad to wage war that waging war brings risks, and they must accept those risks.”

The Times of Israel also reported an understanding between the Iraqi army and the French to kill any French citizens fighting for ISIS that are caught: “We will prevent as much as possible any French person leaving Mosul alive,” said Abdelghani al-Assadi, a top commander in the Counter-Terrorism Service, quoted by Paris Match. “Our aim is to kill them so that no one from Daesh can flee.”

  25. German Magazine Posts Picture of Sebastian Kurz Saying It Is ‘Finally Possible to Kill Baby Hitler!’ (breitbart, Oct 20, 2017)
    http://www.breitbart.com/london/2017/10/20/german-magazine-picture-kurz-finally-possible-kill-baby-hitler/

“German satirical magazine Titanic posted the picture on Twitter which shows Austrian conservative Sebastian Kurz, who won last Sunday’s election, with a target over his chest.

The tweet has caused a storm of criticism from Austrians who voted Kurz and the Austrian People’s Party into first place in Sunday’s national election.

Reactions have been not only negative but some have even alleged that the Tweet may be breaking the law in Austria as it seems to call for the assassination of the 31-year-old politician who is expected to be Austria’s next chancellor.

The official Twitter account for the Vienna police even commented on the tweet saying: “We have already forwarded this to the relevant authority.”

One user commented on the post saying: “Call to murder under the guise of satire – you’re disturbed! If your issue was not that expensive, I’d use it as toilet paper.”

The Titanic account replied tweeting: “If you get a subscription it is quite cheap.”

According to Austria’s largest newspaper Kronen Zeitung, who spoke with lawyer Christian Solmecke, it is unlikely there will be any criminal proceedings against the magazine.

Mr. Solmecke, who specialises in internet law, said that despite the suggestion to assassinate the ÖVP leader the tweet was, “satirical, not a statement meant seriously”.

The comparison to the Nazi party is not unique to the satirical magazine, either. Earlier this week, The New York Times published an opinion piece with the title, “In Election, Austria’s Nazi Past Raises Its Head,” alongside a picture of Sebastian Kurz.

The New York Times editorial board mentioned that the anti-mass migration Freedom Party (FPÖ) was “founded by ex-Nazis” but failed to mention that the left-wing Social Democrats paid a man named Tal Silberstein to create a Facebook page filled with anti-Semitic content to attack Kurz during the campaign.

German media have made similar kinds of attacks against U.S. President Donald Trump with a cover of the magazine Der Spiegel showing the president holding the decapitated head of the Statue of Liberty invoking images of the Islamic State terror group.”

The attack occurred at Imam Zaman mosque in the western Dasht-e-Barchi part of Kabul, as Shi’ite worshippers gathered for prayers.

KABUL: Suicide bombers attacked two mosques in Afghanistan on Friday, killing at least 72 people including children, officials and witnesses said.

One bomber walked into a Shi’ite Muslim mosque in the capital Kabul as people were praying on Friday night and detonated an explosive, one of the worshippers there, Mahmood Shah Husaini, said.

At least 39 people died in the blast at the Imam Zaman mosque in the city’s western Dasht-e-Barchi district, interior ministry spokesman Najib Danish said.

No group claimed responsibility. But Shi’ite Muslims have suffered a series of attacks in Afghanistan in recent months, many of them claimed by the Sunni Muslim militants of Islamic State.

Separately, a suicide bombing killed at least 33 people at a mosque in central Ghor province, a police spokesman said.

The attack appeared to target a local leader from the Jamiat political party, according to a statement from Balkh provincial governor Atta Mohammad Noor, a leading figure in Jamiat.

This includes £469.4 million in the 2016/17 financial year, according to figures released to Parliament.

The statistics, released in a written parliamentary answer from defence minister Earl Howe, show counter-Daesh operations cost £262.4 million the year before and £47.2 million in 2014/15.

These are net additional costs that the MoD would not otherwise have incurred but for the operations, Lord Howe said.

“The Austrian government has released new crime statistics that show sex attacks have risen by more than 25 per cent since last year and that migrants make up close to half of all known suspects in sex crime cases.

The Austrian Interior Ministry released the figures this week which show that between 2015 and 2016, during the height of the migrant crisis, sex crimes went up 26.18 per cent. The reports also show a disproportionate number of suspects to be of a foreign origin and that Afghan nationals are particularly overrepresented, Kronen Zeitung reports.

The ministry said there were 5,253 sexual offences in 2016, up from the previous year’s number of 4,163.

In cases of rape, individuals of a foreign background make up a disproportionate number of rape suspects representing 44.3 per cent of all suspects in 2016.

In cases of sexual harassment, foreigners made up 43 per cent of suspects. In context, the migrant population of Austria is estimated to be between 10 and 15 per cent.

Afghan nationals make up the largest segment of sex attackers among foreign suspects followed by Romanians, Germans, Serbs, and Turks.

The report comes after another report from earlier this year from Interior Minister Wolfgang Sobotka who noted that migrant sex offences had increased by a massive 133 per cent in the span of only a year.

The Interior Ministry also noted that individuals of foreign backgrounds were also responsible for around 51 per cent of all the thefts in the country…”

  34. Pope Francis: Humanity Must ‘Rethink’ Role of Nation-State in Globalized World (breitbart, Oct 20, 2017)
    http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2017/10/20/pope-francis-humanity-must-rethink-role-of-nation-state-in-globalized-world/

“Since globalization has “deeply altered the previous international order,” Pope Francis said Friday, humanity must rethink “the figure and the role of the nation-state” in this new world order.

“The State cannot be conceived of as the sole and exclusive guardian of the common good,” the Pope told participants in a workshop organized by the Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences, “not allowing intermediate bodies of civil society to express, in freedom, their full potential.”

“This would this be a violation of the principle of subsidiarity which, combined with that of solidarity, constitutes a cornerstone of the social doctrine of the Church,” he said.

“The challenge here,” Francis added, “is how to bring individual rights into accord with the common good.”

“I think the position of civil society is to ‘pull’ the State and the market forward so they will rethink their raison-d’être and their way of working,” he said.

Last February, the Vatican’s Secretary of State Cardinal Pietro Parolin said that the Holy See is concerned over growing populist and nationalist movements, both in Europe and in the United States, adding that many of them “are born of fear, which is not a good counsellor.”

The Cardinal also recalled comments by Pope Francis, saying that “there is a risk of history repeating itself.”

In March, Pope Francis addressed more than 20 European heads of state, calling solidarity “the most effective antidote to modern forms of populism,” while denouncing nationalism as a new strain of selfishness.

In his speech, the Pope advocated a stronger, consolidated Europe against the rising tide of populist movements.

The pontiff contrasted solidarity, which draw us “closer to our neighbors,” with populism, which is “the fruit of a selfishness that hems people in and prevents them from overcoming and ‘looking beyond’ their own narrow vision.”

“There is a need to start thinking once again as Europeans,” Francis said, “so as to avert the opposite dangers of a dreary uniformity or the triumph of particularisms.”

During his address Friday, the Pope underscored what he called two “specific causes” of exclusion and marginalization in the world today, namely inequalities and exploitation on the one hand and undignified work, on the other.

The first, he said, “is the increase in endemic and systemic inequalities and exploitation of the planet, which is greater than the increase of income and wealth.”

Inequality and exploitation, he said, “are not inevitable, nor a historical constant. They are not inevitable because they depend not only on individual behavior, but also by economic rules that a society chooses to adopt.”

Depending on how different sectors of society are conceived, he said, “you have different outcomes regarding how income and wealth are distributed among those who have helped to produce them.”

“If profit prevails as the goal, democracy tends to become a plutocracy in which inequality and the exploitation of the planet grow. I repeat: this is not a necessity,” he said.

Regarding the second, “work unworthy of the human person,” Francis said that the world must go beyond mere just wages for workers to redesign the process of production to the person and his way of life.

The creation of new types of work, more consonant with man’s dignity, the pontiff continued, “require open and enterprising persons, fraternal relations and research and investment for the development of clean energy to meet the challenges posed by climate change.”

“We must detach ourselves from public and private lobbies that defend the interests of their sectors, and also overcome the forms of spiritual laziness,” he said.

“Political activity must truly be placed at the service of the human person, the common good and respect for nature,” he said.”

    • Pope Francis: Humanity Must ‘Rethink’ Role of Nation-State in Globalized World

Says the occupant of one of the world’s smallest and wealthiest nation-states.

This preachy, beskirted, simpering, appeasing, bipedal piece of ambulatory excrement really needs to adopt a few hundred of his beloved little-brown-brothers to share his regally appointed apartments. Maybe he’ll sing a different tune after he gets his skirts lifted a few times. Then again, he might enjoy it.

The notion of this world’s most privileged elite sanctimoniously scolding hard-working proles who live hand-to-mouth about joyously accepting hardened criminal murderers and rapists into their midst goes well beyond mere betrayal.

This is sociocultural treason on a level that makes Hitler look like a Boy Scout. We are seeing it here in the United States with this country’s 1% making the Robber Barons of old seem like a bunch of do-gooders.

It goes beyond strange that a few hundred families are driving this planet’s underclass towards the sort of (justified) mayhem and carnage that once was thought to have ended with Madame Defarge’s knitting.

Worst of all is that the Capitalist, free enterprise system which—over these past two centuries—elevated the quality of life for so many millions of people has now been perverted into a form of oligarchic elitism whose ultimate destiny is so many lamp posts and lengths of piano wire.

      For shame!

  35. ‘Double Penalties for Migrant Criminals’: What’s Behind Macron’s Rightward Swing (sputniknews, Oct 20, 2017)
    https://sputniknews.com/analysis/201710201058416319-macron-tough-on-migrant-crime-policy/

“French President Emmanuel Macron has vowed to “take the most severe measures” against migrant criminals, saying that foreigners who commit crimes should not only be sentenced, but deported. Political observers Michel Taube and Jean-Paul Gourevitch tell Sputnik what the president’s apparent rightward swing means for French politics.

In a recent televised interview, Macron vowed to get tough on criminal foreigners by deporting them. The remarks come amid continued controversy over a stabbing attack in Lyon involving Ahmed Hanachi, a Tunisian man who had been put into custody by police for shoplifting just two days before the attack, but allowed to walk free the next day.

Observers are divided about what to make of the president’s promise, some speculating that it is an attempt to raise flagging approval ratings, and others saying it may be a genuine effort to tighten overly lax immigration laws, in issue which featured prominently in Macron’s election manifesto.

Critics, however, have accused Macron of pandering to the far right, and have said that the tough stance on immigration he is proposing contradicts European humanitarian values…”

      • Mutilate, then deport.

        Partial deportation, eh?

I can see the logic of insisting that all of these invaders leave something behind.

It would certainly give pause to any others contemplating a similar quest.
