“A global cyberattack leveraging hacking tools widely believed by researchers to have been developed by the U.S. National Security Agency hit international shipper FedEx, disrupted Britain’s health system and infected computers in nearly 100 countries on Friday.
Cyber extortionists tricked victims into opening malicious malware attachments to spam emails that appeared to contain invoices, job offers, security warnings and other legitimate files.
The ransomware encrypted data on the computers, demanding payments of $300 to $600 to restore access. Security researchers said they observed some victims paying via the digital currency bitcoin, though they did not know what percent had given in to the extortionists.
Researchers with security software maker Avast said they had observed 57,000 infections in 99 countries with Russia, Ukraine and Taiwan the top targets.
The most disruptive attacks were reported in Britain, where hospitals and clinics were forced to turn away patients after losing access to computers.
International shipper FedEx Corp said some of its Windows computers were also infected. “We are implementing remediation steps as quickly as possible,” it said in a statement.
Still, only a small number of U.S.-headquartered organizations were hit because the hackers appear to have begun the campaign by targeting organizations in Europe, said Vikram Thakur, research manager with security software maker Symantec.
By the time they turned their attention to the United States, spam filters had identified the new threat and flagged the ransomware-laden emails as malicious, Thakur said.
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security said late on Friday that it was aware of reports of the ransomware, was sharing information with domestic and foreign partners and was ready to lend technical support.
Telecommunications company Telefonica was among many targets in Spain, though it said the attack was limited to some computers on an internal network and had not affected clients or services. Portugal Telecom and Telefonica Argentina both said they were also targeted…”

A massive cyberattack that first grabbed media attention after several British hospitals reported computer problems has now affected public and private institutions in more than 70 countries, according to security experts.
The attack affected businesses and government offices from Russia to Mexico on Friday, with experts calling it the biggest ransomware outbreak ever.
Two security firms — Kaspersky Lab and Avast — said they had identified the malware behind the attack in upward of 70 countries, although both said the attack has hit Russia hardest, followed by Ukraine and Taiwan.
Some of the affected groups included Britain’s National Health Service (NHS), Spanish telecommunications giant Telefonica, US shipping firm FedEx and the Russian Interior Ministry which said on its website that around 1,000 computers had been infected by the virus.
Researchers believe a criminal organization is behind this, given its global reach and sophistication.
Demands payment in bitcoins
Officials and experts identified the type of malware as “Wanna Cry”, also known as “Wanna Decryptor”. It exploits a vulnerability in Microsoft’s Windows operating system that allows it to automatically spread across networks.
The Wanna Cry ransomware exploits a vulnerability widely believed by researchers to have been identified by the National Security Agency, and which was released on the Internet last month by a group known as the Shadow Brokers.
Wanna Cry scrambles data on computers and then demands payments of $300 to $600 (approximately 274 to 550 euros) to restore access, according to reports.
A Telefonica spokesman said a window appeared on screens of infected computers, demanding payment with the digital currency bitcoin in order to regain access to files.
Microsoft said on Friday its engineers had added detection and protection against the massive ransomware attack.
The company has released fixes for vulnerabilities and related tools disclosed by the Shadow Brokers.
Told to shut down computers
Sixteen individual organisations within Britain’s health service, some of them responsible for several hospitals each, had reported coming under attack, an NHS spokesman said.
But Prime Minister Theresa May later said the computer problems were part of a wider global attack.
“We are aware that a number of NHS organisations have reported that they have suffered from a ransomware attack. This is not targeted at the NHS, it’s an international attack and a number of countries and organisations have been affected,” May said, referring to the country’s National Health Service.
Several individual health service trusts in England reported severe problems with their computer systems and instructed patients to avoid their hospitals except in emergencies.
A spokesman for Barts Health NHS Trust in London said it was experiencing “major IT disruption” and delays at all four of its hospitals.
“We have activated our major incident plan to make sure we can maintain the safety and welfare of patients,” the spokesman said.
“We are very sorry that we have to cancel routine appointments, and would ask members of the public to use other NHS services wherever possible.”

Two employees at St Bartholomew’s Hospital in London, which is part of Barts Health, told AFP that all the computers in the hospital had been turned off.
“We have been told that we need to shut down all the computers and even our Wi-Fi on our phones. No computers are currently working,” they said, speaking on condition of anonymity as they were not authorised to speak to press.”

NEW YORK (AP) — Dozens of countries were hit with a huge cyberextortion attack Friday that locked up computers and held users’ files for ransom at a multitude of hospitals, companies and government agencies.
It was believed to the biggest attack of its kind ever recorded.
The malicious software behind the onslaught appeared to exploit a vulnerability in Microsoft Windows that was supposedly identified by the National Security Agency for its own intelligence-gathering purposes and was later leaked to the internet.
Britain’s national health service fell victim, its hospitals forced to close wards and emergency rooms and turn away patients. Russia appeared to be the hardest hit, according to security experts, with the country’s Interior Ministry confirming it was struck.
All told, several cybersecurity firms said they had identified the malicious software, which so far has been responsible for tens of thousands of attacks, in more than 60 countries. That includes the United States, although its effects there didn’t appear to be widespread, at least initially.
The attack infected computers with what is known as “ransomware” — software that locks up the user’s data and flashes a message demanding payment to release it. In the U.S., FedEx reported that its Windows computers were “experiencing interference” from malware, but wouldn’t say if it had been hit by ransomware.
Mikko Hypponen, chief research officer at the Helsinki-based cybersecurity company F-Secure, called the attack “the biggest ransomware outbreak in history.”
Security experts said the attack appeared to be caused by a self-replicating piece of software that enters companies and organizations when employees click on email attachments, then spreads quickly internally from computer to computer when employees share documents and other files.

The disclosure comes just days after Iranian leaders announced the upcoming launch of two new domestically produced satellites. Iran has long used its space program as cover for illicit missile work, as the know-how needed to launch such equipment can be applied to long-range ballistic missile technology.
Daniel Coats, America’s top spymaster, informed Congress this week in an intelligence briefing that Iran’s ballistic missile work continues unimpeded and could be used by the Islamic Republic to launch a nuclear weapon, according to unclassified testimony.

The new coded message was read out on Radio Pyongyang at 1.15am local time by a female announcer.

Japan favors Aegis Ashore over THAAD to boost missile defense: sources
TOKYO (Reuters) – Japan is leaning towards choosing the Aegis Ashore missile-defense system over another advanced system called Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD), government and ruling party sources said.
Faced with North Korea’s rapid missile and nuclear development, and its threats, Japan has been looking into introducing a new missile-defense layer – either the THAAD or the Aegis Ashore, a land-based version of the Aegis system developed for war ships.
Lockheed Martin Corp makes both systems.
The government now favors the Aegis Ashore system as it comes with a wider coverage area, which would mean fewer units needed to protect Japan, and it is also cheaper, three government and two ruling party sources said.
The sources, who spoke this week, declined to be identified because they are not authorized to speak to media on the topic.
An Aegis Ashore unit costs about 70 billion-80 billion yen ($618 million-$706 million), while a THAAD unit costs more than 100 billion yen, the sources said.

NRO chose the stark headline “Fired for Reporting the Truth.” And that’s a nice editorial decision, focused on the point that Andy Ngo was merely, in fact, reporting the truth. No more, no less.
But it pays to highlight the “unapproved” nature of the truth, in light of what I wrote about in my “Comey moment” post earlier on Friday. I’ll look at that aspect of it momentarily.
The short version of Andy Ngo’s story is that he recorded the discussion by a Muslim student at an interfaith panel of the thorny question whether a sharia state can allow non-Muslims to live there in peace; i.e., unmolested. The question came from the audience, and was based on a Quranic sura about the treatment of non-believers.

In recent days several women in the Stockport area have reportedly been approached by the men while waiting for traffic lights to change.
One victim, Cala Grant, was approached on Monday this week. Describing the incident on Facebook, she wrote: “Two men attempted to get into my car while I was sat at traffic lights in Offerton.
“As the male was walking towards the driver side he looked like he was just crossing the road then quickly went for my door handle.
“At that time out of nowhere another male was attempting my passenger side.
“Luckily my doors were locked so I just raced off through a red light and nearly got hit by another driver in the process.
“I am ok although shaken up!” she added, warning other drivers: “Please please lock your doors!”

This has been happening with more frequency here in Germany as well, but not just woman.
They run in front of cars -even sending children to run and fall in front of cars. People have been pulled from their cars and one man had a bicycle thrown at him before he was beaten. The same guy went on to strangle and bite police officers once they arrived at the scene.

The United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) met once again on March 20 to debate “Agenda Item 7,” a mandatory subject of debate since June 2006, the only one whose goal is systematically to condemn the Israeli democracy for crimes the existence of which remain to be proven.
The agenda, officially designed to assess the humanitarian situation in the Palestinian territories, in the light of the reports submitted by Fatah, the PLO and various NGOs, is part of a wider campaign, carried out by countries such as Libya, Algeria, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Sudan and Yemen. Israel is thus the only country on the planet to benefit from the doubtful privilege of being scrutinized on the least of its actions, through an agenda decided by its enemies.
If it were only a question of expressing this obsession, born out of an old habit for the Arab-Muslim dictatorships to turn the Hebrew state into their scapegoat, responsible for all the misfortunes plaguing their societies, Agenda Item 7 would be a mere oddity, especially since the session is regularly boycotted by a majority of Western countries, and systematically by the United States.
Unfortunately, this Israelphobia has been spreading throughout the United Nations. In 1948, when Israel, after being officially recognized as a sovereign state by virtually all Western democracies, had just repelled the genocidal aggression of five neighboring countries, and hundreds of thousands of Jews were fleeing the oppression of Arab dictatorships, the UN gave birth to UNRWA, an organization designed to help Palestinian refugees exclusively. This was despite there already being a program for refugees at the UN, the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).

An ex-FBI agent will reveal the threat from Bin Laden’s son Hamza in a forthcoming episode of American news show 60 Minutes.
Letters from Hamza, then aged 22, have been declassified and have been revealed by Ali Soufan, the ex-FBI agent.
Hamza, who was once tipped to take over leadership of al-Qaeda after his father, allegedly wrote the notes to his dad.
The letter read: “Every look… every smile you gave me, every word you told me, I consider myself to be forged in steel.
“The path of jihad for the sake of God is what we live [for].”…”
Hamza bin Laden offers ‘advice for martyrdom seekers in the West’
Hamza bin Laden, the son of al Qaeda founder Osama bin Laden, has released a new message offering “advice” for “martyrdom seekers in the West.” Hamza encourages followers to lash out on their own, but only after carefully preparing their attack so they “may inflict damage far beyond anything the enemy has ever imagined.”
As Sahab, al Qaeda’s propaganda arm, released the junior bin Laden’s message less one week after a similar appeal was issued by Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula leader Qasim al Raymi. The “lone mujahid” effort was first launched by AQAP, but the group’s rivals in the Islamic State have had far more success in inspiring and guiding individual attacks since 2014. The messages from Raymi and now Hamza bin Laden are likely part of al Qaeda’s effort to regain the initiative with respect to this tactic.
Hamza calls on individual jihadists to “avenge” the “children of Syria,” the “widows of Palestine,” the “free honorable women of Iraq,” and “the orphans of Afghanistan.”
“Exercise patience and deliberation, for it is among the qualities loved by Allah and His Messenger, peace be upon him,” Hamza says. “Accomplish your goals with secrecy. Attain the highest level of perfection in your actions, exercise utmost care and caution, and prepare diligently to inflict crippling losses on those who have disbelieved.”
Hamza specifically references AQAP’s Inspire Magazine, saying followers can “benefit” from it. (Interestingly, his father was reportedly less impressed by Inspire and even complained about some of the tactics advocated therein.)
“Be perfect in your choice of targets, so that you may damage your enemies more,” Hamza advises. “Be professional in your choice of weapons. It is not necessary that it should be a military tool. If you are able to pick a firearm, well and good; if not, the options are many.”
Osama’s heir encourages individual jihadists to “follow in the footsteps of martyrdom-seekers before” them, arguing they shouldn’t “underestimate” themselves. There is no reason to emigrate to the jihadists battlefields abroad, according to Hamza, because “professionally executed individual operations in the West” have “outweighed numerous operations in the East.” (Al Qaeda’s rivals in the Islamic State have made the same argument.)
“Know that inflicting punishment on Jews and Crusaders where you are present is more vexing and severe for the enemy,” Hamza continues. “It is sharper than a hundred warheads directed against their agents.”
Hamza wants followers to “prioritize” their “targets.”
First, “everyone who transgresses against our pure Religion, or against our beloved Prophet (peace be upon him)” should be struck. Hamza specifically mentions the Jan. 2015 Charlie Hebdo massacre in Paris, which was claimed by AQAP and carried out according to Ayman al Zawahiri’s general orders.
“Next, look out for Jewish interests everywhere.” But if the jihadist is not able to locate these, then “target American Crusaders.”
“If you are unable to go for American Crusaders, target the interests of the Crusader member states of NATO,” Hamza continues. “And since Russia has forgotten what it tasted in Chechnya and Afghanistan, and has returned once again to interfere in matters concerning Islam, do not exclude it from your targets of priority. Give Russia a pertinent reminder of the days of your predecessors.”
Hamza and other al Qaeda leaders want jihadist attacks to send a clear message to their enemies. “I strongly advise that the message you intend to convey through your blessed operation must be explained unequivocally in the media,” he advises. “It is absolutely imperative that people should know the objective of your operation.”
“We in al Qaeda emphasize the importance of conveying the following messages to Western states, and we advise you to do the same,” Hamza says. He provides a list of al Qaeda’s priorities for individual jihadists:
1. Our Religion and our Prophet (peace be upon him) are RED LINES. Let those who cross these lines take heed from Charlie Hebdo.
2. Palestine is a cause of our Islamic Ummah [worldwide community of Muslims]. And anyone who supports Jewish occupiers shall never dream of peace, with the permission of Allah.
3. Sham is a cause of our Islamic Ummah. Our people in Sham are faced with genocide. And everyone who participates in tormenting them with bombings or by aiding Bashar [al Assad] and his allies shall not escape punishment.
4. Our lands are occupied. The Land of the Two Sanctuaries [Saudi Arabia] is occupied. We shall continue to target you until you withdraw your forces from the Arabian Peninsula and from every single land of Islam.
5. Our airspace is violated by your aircrafts which unleash their deadly payload on our children. Our wealth and resources are expropriated every single day.
Hamza’s audio message is embedded in a video that is just over ten minutes long. Various operations, including the Dec. 2016 assassination of a Russian ambassador in Turkey, are lauded throughout the video.
As Hamza’s audio begins to play, an image of the Fort Hood shooter, Major Nidal Malik Hasan, is shown on screen. The photo of Hasan is followed by footage from the Nov. 5, 2009 mass shooting at Fort Hood, video from a service for the victims, and a brief clip of AQAP ideologue Anwar al Awlaki, who inspired Hasan.
An image of Ramzi Yousef, who orchestrated the 1993 World Trade Center bombing and other plots, is also included at the outset, as is footage from the 1993 bombing in lower Manhattan.
As Sahab released Hamza’s message with Arabic and English-language transcripts. Al Qaeda has been releasing messages with an English translation on an increasingly frequent basis. Recent messages from Ayman al Zawahiri and Raymi were also released with English transcripts.

“The Liberal Democrats have committed to taking in an extra 50,000 migrants from Syria by 2020 at an estimated cost of £4.3 billion.
The left wing party also wishes to bring back the so-called Dubs Amendment which eased immigration for “child” migrants, particularly in Calais, according to The Guardian. The scheme was quietly terminated amidst controversy about the true age of those arriving.
Challenging the Labour Party to make the same commitments, Liberal Democrat leader Tim Farron said the United Kingdom “shames itself” by failing to open its borders.
“We are only talking about 50,000 people,” he said. “We are talking about doing what is right.”
Research by the party has previously revealed there are already 35,000 people in Britain who have been waiting for social housing for 10 years, with at least 104,000 having waited at least five years.
Farron did not say whether or not his 50,000 migrants would receive priority over these people on the waiting lists.
Farron further claimed that migrants “are people with bags of energy and desire to make this place their home and to contribute, and yet far too many politicians put barriers in the way”.
New statistics from Europe, however, indicate that over half a million migrants taken in by Germany are on welfare, with the Institute for Labour Research (IAB) indicating that fewer than three per cent of new arrivals had found work in December 2016…”

Andreas Meyer, a former employee at one of the migrant centres in Berlin, has told how limousines would pull up to the centre at night containing Arab clan criminals who would recruit young 18- to 20-year-old migrants into the drug trade, Die Zeit reports.
Meyer said the meetings between the gangsters and the migrants would last around half an hour and the migrants would be given drugs like marijuana or heroin to sell. The media does not want to talk about the issue, he added.
Benjamin Jendro of the Berlin Police Union agreed with Meyer saying: “The young refugees have no one here to stop them.”
“They see peers who are driving an Audi Q8 and hear how easy it is to get there, and they want that too. You can not blame them.”
There is also an advantage for the criminal gangs to recruit migrants, as they have no criminal history in Germany and if they are underage they will not face trials in adult courts.
“For the [Arab] clans, there is no risk,” Jendro said noting that most of the migrants would never be inducted into the inner circle of the organisations. Even if caught, they would have no meaningful information to give authorities.
The Arab clans have also been getting into the business of migrant accommodation, often inflating prices and extorting migrants. Gangs have even taken money from migrants who do not live in the accommodation…”
Facebook Accused of ‘Persecution’ After Shutting Down Pages Supporting Muslim Apostates (breitbart, May 13, 2017)

“Facebook has been accused of waging “intellectual persecution” against atheists and ex-Muslims, after it repeatedly allowed conservative Muslims to take advantage of the site’s inappropriate content flagging system to have pages run for Muslim apostates shut down.
On Monday two prominent pages, Ex-Muslims of North America, which has 24,000 followers, and Atheist Republic, which boasts 1.6 million followers, were shut down after being targeted by Muslim groups.
The two pages offer assistance to people who have left the Muslim faith. Both were deemed to have been “in violation of Facebook’s community standards.”
In response, president of Ex-Muslims of North America, Muhammad Syed, has written Facebook an open letter in which he accuses the social media giant of not doing enough to protect “groups vulnerable to malicious attacks”.
He wrote: “Ironically, the same social media which empowers religious minorities is susceptible to abuse by religious fundamentalists to enforce what are essentially the equivalent of online blasphemy laws.
“A simple English language search reveals hundreds of public groups and pages on Facebook explicitly dedicated to this purpose – giving their members easy-to-follow instructions on how to report public groups and infiltrate private ones.
With the help of the Arab Atheist Network, Mr Syed has identified a number of sites targeted in this manner. Atheist Republic has been shut down four times in the last two years, he said, but also attacked were A Science Enthusiast (750,000 members), Humanitarian Non-Religious (32,000 members), and the Arab Atheist Network (23,500 members), along with six others, all with followers numbering in the thousands.
“Arab atheists, Bangladeshi secularists, and numerous other groups have been under attack for years, as religious conservatives in the Muslim world learn to abuse Facebook’s reporting system to their advantage,” Mr Syed wrote.
The two pages at the centre of the row were reinstated upon appeal, but Mr Syed believes that Facebook should do more to protect them from malicious attacks. He has called for a “whitelist” of groups vulnerable to attack, and for Facebook users who regularly abuse the reporting function to be penalised.
Speaking to Heat Street he said: “Many of these groups are not simply pages – they are communities in which atheists who are abandoned by those around them find comfort, support and emergency assistance in case of persecution or abuse. The closure of these groups means the loss of these vital resources for the isolated and vulnerable.””

“Officials in Kosovo say that a prominent journalist and politician has been harshly beaten in the capital Pristina.
Police on Saturday said Arbana Xharra, who recently joined the governing Democratic Party of Kosovo, had been attacked in a street by a group of people the previous evening. The motive for the attack has not been determined.
Photos published by Kosovo media showed Xharra bruised and scratched with torn tights lying on a hospital bed.
After hospital treatment she is reported to be in stable condition, police said.
Police are still investigating though there are still unknown reasons for the attack.
Xharra, who received the International Women of Courage Award from the U.S. State Department in 2015, was known for her in-depth writing on corruption, Islamic extremists and politics.”

Najib Danish, deputy spokesman for the interior ministry, said the victims of the Saturday attack are two female government employees from the water supply department and a small child. A sticky bomb is a type of grenade designed to be attached to a vehicle.
Danish says the driver of the vehicle was wounded.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
Meanwhile, 10 insurgents including a Talbian-appointed deputy governor and district chief were killed a day earlier in northern Samangan province, Danish said.”

Turkey: Protesters pray in front of Hagia Sophia museum, call for its reopening as mosque
Over one thousand protesters gathered in front of Hagia Sophia in the Old City of Istanbul at 04:00 local time (00:00 GMT), on Saturday morning, to pray in public and demand that the 1000-year-old building, which is now a museum, returns to its former function as a mosque.
Leading the worshippers was the Anatolia Youth Association (AGD) with a slogan “Break the chains. Open Hagia Sophia”.
The Hagia Sophia was constructed in the sixth century as a Christian Byzantine Church but was transformed into a mosque, when Ottoman forces under Mehmet II conquered Constantinople, as Istanbul used to be called, in 1453. It was then turned into a museum in the 1930s by modern Turkey’s secular founders.
The protest was held on the anniversary of the Ottoman conquest of Constantinople.

Netherlands: People journey on Amsterdam canals in Lampedusa migrant crossing experience
Locals and tourists in Amsterdam have the opportunity to experience migrant stories by embarking on the alternative canal tours organised by Lampedusa Cruises. Syrian refugee and volunteer Mohammad Al Masri spoke about the initiative on Saturday.
Al Masri “[travelled] from Turkey to Greece [on] a similar boat” to the one showed in the footage, when he left Syria to come to the Netherlands in 2015. He now ferries people around the canals of the Dutch capital on a former refugee boat that was picked up by the Italian guard coast in 2014.
When Al Masri sails through the canals, he tells people stories, combining the history of Amsterdam with his own as a refugee fleeing the Syrian conflict. “Every time I feel emotional going on this boat. I don’t remember a specific tour, but every tour for me is important,” he said.
The crew of Lampedusa Cruises is comprised of Dutch members and refugees coming from various countries. The company offers both canal tours on the “small boat”, and a cruise from Mediamatic’s harbour to the river IJ twice a month on Friday’s, where people can enjoy food, music and theatre plays.

Germany: 1000s rally against deportations as detainees watch from asylum detention centre
Thousands demonstrated, Saturday, in front of the detention centre in Pforzheim against the country’s deportation policies.
Protesters marched chanting ‘Migration is not a crime’ and holding banners such as ‘Right of residence instead of the detention centre’ and ‘No one is illegal’. People detained inside the premises were watching the protest from the structure’s barred windows.
One of the protesters called on the crowd to raise awareness of migrants’ rights: “It can tell you how deceptive Germany is. Close to the bahnhof, the train station, it is difficult to even know that there is one hell where people are held captive in this town. I bet you hundreds of people, thousands of people in this city, refugees, never could imagine that would be a deportation prison, we have been able to show it to them and that is important.”

Trump has apparently bought into the same nonsense that Bush and Obama pushed, that radical Islam is an evil perversion of a peaceful Islam. Ugh. He doesn’t recognize that Islam itself is the problem and that peaceful Muslims are, generally speaking, either Muslims who don’t strictly adhere to their faith or are Muslims who are waiting for the Mahdi to return and command them to do radical things.
Look, I didn’t like it when Obama promoted this and I don’t like it when Trump does the same.
Secondly, McMaster said this which I also find disturbing:
“With President Abbas, Trump will express his desire for dignity and self-determination for the Palestinians.”
So basically he’s saying Trump supports a Palestinian State and will express that to Abbas when he visits Israel. I know I say “ugh” a lot, but seriously, UGH!
I wish we had a leader who would be man enough to point out that the Palestinian ambition for a Palestinian state is mutually exclusive with the right of Jews to exist in Israel….

Trump will “call for Muslim leaders to promote a peaceful vision of Islam”
When will these idiots (and I include Trump in this) finally get it? The only thing peaceful about Islam is the peace of the grave. A single glance at Pakistan—which means, “Land of the Pure” (as in “pure” Islam)—is all that’s needed to realize just how “peaceful” Muslim majority countries have been or ever will be.
People here at Vlad Tepes chastised me for calling the Eastern Academic Establishment (i.e., Ivy League) a source of unparalleled multicultural idiocy. Some sought to remind me that Trump came from this same scholastic environment.
Well, by calling for “a peaceful vision of Islam”, Trump has demonstrated a egregious lack of understanding about Islam. A sole excuse might be if this happens to be Trump’s form of dawah so that, later on, he can say, “I tried” (before launching all-out-war on the ummah). Sadly, I just don’t see him going all medieval on Islam, even when Muslims, for the umpteenth time, will once again prove that they are congenitally incapable of peaceful coexistence with themselves, much less anybody else.

According to Big League Politics author Patrick Howley, the connection between Hillary Clinton and James Comey is a little too close for anyone’s comfort; and it involves his little brother Peter.
You see, inside the Washington beltway everyone is family and there is an inbreeding of connections that occur.
One such connection is with Hillary Clinton and Peter Comey.
He is reportedly on Hillary’s tax team with the Washington law firm DLA Piper.
Peter Comey works at the Washington law firm DLA Piper, serving as “Senior Director of Real Estate Operations for the Americas.”
Shortly before the election, my source called up DLA Piper’s offices in Chinatown and confirmed that the law firm immediately patches callers through to Peter Comey’s direct line there.
DLA Piper is one of Hillary Clinton’s top ten all-time career campaign donors.
DLA Piper also does the Clinton Foundation’s taxes. That’s right. In fact, when the Clinton Foundation scandal broke, it was DLA Piper that performed the 2015 audit on the Foundation, which was supposed to be an independent audit for the appearance of propriety.
Now it’s also shown that James has helped out his bro Petey with his home mortgage, like any good brother would.
James owning this mortgage while being Director of the FBI and conducting an investigation into Hillary Clinton proves direct financial ties with a DLA Piper executive.
Someone who is/was on Hillary’s side.
With this kind of back door dealing and connections, one would say it was far beyond time for James Comey to be fired.
No wonder Hillary isn’t sitting in a jail cell right now.

SKorea: Rival N.Korea launches ballistic missile
SEOUL, South Korea (AP) — North Korea on Sunday test-launched a ballistic missile that flew about 700 kilometers (435 miles), South Korea’s military said, a possible response to the election four days ago of a new South Korean president and as U.S., Japanese and European militaries gather for war games in the Pacific.
South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff confirmed the early morning launch but had few other details, including what type of ballistic missile was fired. A statement said that the missile was fired from near Kusong City, in North Phyongan province, and that the South Korean and U.S. militaries are analyzing the details.
Outsiders will be especially interested in what kind of projectile was fired. While North Korea regularly tests shorter-range missiles, it is also working to master the technology needed to field nuclear-tipped missiles that can reach the U.S. mainland.
North Korea’s past long-range satellite launches have been called clandestine tests of ICBM technology, but it is not believed to have tested a true intercontinental ballistic missile yet. The Trump administration has called North Korean ballistic and nuclear efforts unacceptable and has swung between threats of military action and offers to talk as it formulates a policy.
The launch also comes as troops from the U.S., Japan and two European nations gather on remote U.S. islands in the Pacific for drills that are partly a message to North Korea. The USS Carl Vinson, an aircraft supercarrier, is also engaging with South Korean navy ships in waters off the Korean Peninsula, according to Seoul’s Defense Ministry.

James Comey willing to testify in public: Report
Former FBI Director James Comey said that he is willing to testify before the Senate Intelligence Committee, but only if he can do so publicly.
The news was first reported in the New York Times, who cited a “close associate” of Comey.
Comey on Friday declined an invitation to appear before the committee next week in a closed-door session. The committee is investigating whether Trump’s campaigns had ties to Russia, and the extent to which Russia interfered in the 2016 presidential election.
Trump fired Comey on Tuesday, igniting a storm among members of Congress who suggested he did so to halt the Russian investigation.
