Lets clarify this situation, Watergate was one campaign using campaign workers to break into the opponents office and bug it. This is a setting President using the power of the government to wiretap one of the Presidential candidates to get information to help the other candidate. This is orders of magnitude worse then Watergate, this is things that the Soviet Union and other Dictatorships do, there wil (hopefully) have to be an investigation and this investigation will have to discover who ordered the wiretapping. Lets get real about this, the orders had to come from high in the White House for this to be done, and there has to be a real good paper trail.
We can expect more lies and evasions from the Dems and the Rhinos but if we the people keep the pressure on the investigation will play out and the criminals will be indicted. Yes there will be more Soros funded riots to take attention away from the investigation but they were coming anyway. Trump alleges wiretapping by Obama during campaign
WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S. President Donald Trump on Saturday accused former President Barack Obama of wiretapping him in October during the late stages of the presidential election campaign, but offered no evidence to support the allegation.
“How low has President Obama gone to tapp my phones during the very sacred election process. This is Nixon/Watergate. Bad (or sick) guy!,” Trump said in a series of Tweets on his Twitter account early on Saturday.
Obama’s office did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Reuters. The White House also did not respond to a request to elaborate on Trump’s accusations.
In one of the Tweets, Trump said the alleged wiretapping took place in his Trump Tower building in New York, but there was “nothing found.”
Trump’s administration has come under pressure from Federal Bureau of Investigation and congressional investigations into contacts between some members of his campaign team and Russian officials during his campaign.

Federal officials are putting sensitive materials in foreign-owned buildings, making them vulnerable to cyberattack and espionage, senators warned Friday.
Their alarm bells were set off by a report that said the General Services Administration has been placing FBI agents and other “high-security” government officials in buildings owned by foreign entities in China and other countries. The GSA didn’t tell the tenants, according to the government report, so the officials aren’t taking addition security precautions.
“Yet, in some cases the space is used for classified operations and to store sensitive data,” Sen. Steve Daines, R-Mont., and Sen. Tammy Duckworth, D-Ill., wrote in a Thursday letter to acting GSA Administrator Timothy Horne. “Given the highly sensitive information that is often stored at high-security leased sites, we are concerned with the lack of policies and procedures concerning the ownership of these sites.”

U.S. Navy, Iran ships have close encounter in Middle East
A U.S. Navy surveillance ship had a close encounter with an Iranian navy frigate in the Middle East, CBS News national security correspondent David Martin reports.
The frigate came within 150 yards of the USNS Invincible on Thursday in the Gulf of Oman, just south of the strategic Strait of Hormuz. The gulf separates Oman from southeastern Iran.
The encounter was deemed “unprofessional” but not unsafe because the frigate was on a parallel course with the Invincible at the point of closest approach.
The Invincible is outfitted with sonar to track submarines and radar to monitor missile tests.

The analyses from Judicial Watch and other websites emphasized how close the ISIS camp was to El Paso – understandably, given the co-location of Fort Bliss on El Paso’s east side, and the size of the U.S. and Mexican cities (El Paso and Ciudad Juarez) on either side of the border. Eight days after the 2016 presidential election, Douglas Schoen — President Bill Clinton’s past pollster and advisor — charged that former defense intelligence chief Michael Flynn was “dangerously pro-Russian” because he participated in the tenth anniversary celebration of RT, the Russian state-owned television network formerly known as Russia Today.
Now a few weeks after Flynn resigned as Donald Trump’s national security advisor, Attorney General Jeff Sessions faces resignation demands from congressional Democrats making similar charges based on two meetings he held in 2016 with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak.
Sessions recused himself Thursday from official investigations of alleged Russian meddling in the U.S. election.
But the Daily Caller News Foundation Investigative Group has learned that a great many liberal American political activists and journalists have much more than occasional meetings with RT. Many of them in fact draw regular paychecks from Russian President Vladimir Putin’s flagship TV network.
It’s rarely reported in the U.S. news media, but many of the liberal activists and journalists who participate in RT programming openly bash the United States and defend Russia.
The American “star” at the Dec. 10, 2015, RT celebration was Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein. Speaking on a panel titled “Frenemies,” which challenged the view that Russia was an “enemy state,” Stein condemned “this very simplistic defense of who is our friend and who is our enemy is counterproductive.” RT also was the sole television sponsor of the Green Party event that chose Stein as the party’s 2016 standard-bearer.
Besides Stein, other American participants included Max Blumenthal — son of Sid Blumenthal, who worked with 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton. Legendary TV host and celebrity interviewer Larry King also broadcast his shows on RT.
Max Blumenthal — a virulent opponent of Israel and U.S. foreign policy — charged Israeli leaders with “war crimes” and publicly praised the Iranian-backed terrorist outfit Hamas for its deadly attacks on Israel. Blumenthal praised RT for its coverage of Moscow’s role in Syria, telling conference participants, “I think RT was trying to do was to introduce an alternative narrative on the drive to war on Syria.”
Before Blumenthal spoke, an RT-produced video charged that “there are reports ISIS was trained by U.S. instructors in a secret base in Jordan to prepare to fight [Syrian President] Assad as ‘rebels.’” No one on the panel challenged the assertion.

Could a controversial French politician promising, much like Donald Trump did, to rein in immigration win the French presidency? Populist politician Marine Le Pen, head of the far-right National Front party, speaks to Anderson Cooper for a 60 Minutes report Sunday, March 5 at 7 p.m. ET/PT.
Like President Trump, Marine Le Pen takes a hard line on immigration and champions the unemployed workers of France, who she says have been harmed by globalization. Her views have resonated within the French electorate. She wants to drastically reduce legal immigration and deport all illegal immigrants, and she says she would also like to ban conspicuous religious garb in public, including Muslim headscarves and yarmulkes.
One thing Le Pen and some other French conservatives are upset about is a full-body swimsuit called the Burkini, which French Muslims have been wearing to the beach. Le Pen brought up the Burkini to make a broader point about immigration and assimilation in France, enlisting a French film star of the 1960s and 70s to help illustrate it. “[France] isn’t Burkinis on the beach. France is Brigitte Bardot. That’s France,” she tells Cooper. Is she trying to “make France great again,” just as Donald Trump promised during the campaign to “make America great again?” asks Cooper. “Of, course,” she replies, “I’ve been saying so for many years.”
She is also like President Trump in her attitude toward Russia. Calling the notion of a Russian threat a “scam,” Le Pen says, “I’ll tell you what the danger is for Europe. It’s carrying out a cold war against Russia and pushing Russia into China’s arms. That’s the threat.”
President Donald Trump does not condemn Russian President Vladimir Putin either, despite Russia’s military incursions into Ukraine. But Le Pen insists her intention is not to champion Putin, but rather, to look out for France. “Look. I’m not a fan in a rock concert, you see. I am a political leader in a great nation of the world. What interests me are France’s interests,” she tells Cooper.
Marine Le Pen is the daughter of Jean-Marie Le Pen, a French politician who co-founded the National Front and became infamous for anti-Semitic remarks. He was repeatedly found guilty in court of questioning the Holocaust. She has denounced her father’s extreme politics and says the two are now estranged, but his reputation still casts a shadow over her career.

But why spy on journalists? They are not major players on the political stage, nor do they make policy decisions. However, ferreting out a journalist’s anonymous sources could provide a politician with valuable information before that information hits the news (sort of like giving a presidential candidate a debate question ahead of time). Also, anonymous sources in foreign governments if discovered could become blackmail or bribery targets and converted to German intelligence assets.
The BND came under suspicion last October when German newspaper Der Spiegel accused the agency of spying on the Vatican, European and US government ministries, and non-governmental organizations like the Red Cross and Care International.

Two years ago, the rector of the Great Mosque of Paris, Dalil Boubakeur, suggested converting empty churches into mosques, to accommodate the growing Muslim community in abandoned Christian sites. Now, many people in France seem to have taken the idea so seriously that a report released by the foundation Terra Nova, France’s main think tank that provides ideas to the governing Socialist Party, suggests that in order to integrate Muslims better, French authorities should replace the two Catholic holidays — Easter Monday and Pentecost — with Islamic holidays. To be ecumenical, they also included a Jewish holiday.
Written by Alain Christnacht and Marc-Olivier Padis, the study, “The Emancipation of Islam of France,” states: “In order to treat all the denominations equally, it should include two important new holidays, Yom Kippur and Eid el Kebir, with the removal of two Mondays that do not correspond to particular solemnity”.
Thus, Easter and Pentecost can be sacrificed to keep the ever-elusive multicultural “peace”.
Terra Nova’s proposal was rejected by the Episcopal Conference of France, but endorsed by the Union of Islamic Organizations of France, close to the Muslim Brotherhood, which would also like to include the Islamic holidays of Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha in the calendar. The idea of replacing the Christian holidays was also sponsored by the Observatory of Secularism, an organ created by President François Hollande to coordinate secularist policies. The Observatory of Secularism also proposed eliminating some Christian holidays to make way for the Islamic, Jewish and secular holidays. “France must replace two Christian holidays to make way for the Yom Kippur and Eid,” said Dounia Bouzar, a member of the Observatory.

The first thing I look for when horses are involved in riot protection is if they have the proper gear on. I was glad to see in this instance that they all had eye shields on and lower leg protection.
When I was a girl I went to a riding school. There were a few retired NYPD horses there. They were not the fastest or highest jumpers in the stable but they were steady. I never saw someone get thrown off a police horse.

Sweden: Right-wing protesters rally against immigrants in Trelleborg
Right-wing protesters demonstrated against immigration, at the Port of Trelleborg, Saturday, in what anti-immigrant protesters called the “People’s march.”
Around 200 right-wing protesters gathered, calling for the resignation of Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Lofven and demanding early elections. Demonstrators also held signs in support of Peter Springare, a Swedish police officer who was investigated for incitement of racial hatred after he claimed that most crime in Sweden was committed by immigrants.
Minor incidents occurred with counter-protesters however according to reports the protest ended peacefully.

A terrorist who abandoned his wife and young child to fight with Isil in the Philippines has blamed Brexit as he was jailed for eight years.
Muslim convert Ryan Counsell, 28, was seeking an “idyllic life” under sharia law, Woolwich Crown Court heard.
He was in the advanced stages of planning his trip to fight with terrorist group Abu Sayyaf when he was arrested last July.
Counsell claimed that after Brexit there was increased tension in the Muslim community in Nottingham so he decided to leave.
He was convicted last month three counts of possessing documents with terrorist material, and one count engaging in conduct in preparation of terrorist acts, after a four week trial.
The jury heard how he spent almost £900 on military-style boots, camouflage clothing, Kevlar boxer shorts and a cheek pad to be attached to the stock of a rifle “to engage in combat.”
Counsell had also booked a return ticket from London to Manila and a connecting flight to Zamboanga, 20 miles from Basiland where Isil group Abu Sayyaf regularly clash with the Philippine Army.
The group wounded 14 Philippine soldiers today (Fri) and a German hostage was beheaded by them on Sunday.
The married father-of-two was arrested at Stansted Airport on 11 July while waiting for a flight to Eindhoven in Holland.
Counsell, who worked as a floor assistant at his local supermarket in Nottingham, had booked a week off work and was due to leave for the Philippines two days later.
He was not expecting to return.
His barrister John Kearney said Counsell was “a bit odd” but not violent or an extremist.
Mr Kearney said: “He wanted to leave the UK to live a humble, simple life, in a Muslim community. He discussed going to Somalia. He considered going to Bosnia, and he considered the Philippines. He wanted to live in a community under sharia law with what he saw as an idyllic way of life.”
“After Brexit there were divisions in his community in Nottingham, he was concerned about the way ordinary people were reacting to ordinary Muslims. So with that background he was looking for a different way of life. He was convicted on the basis that was what he intended to do but it not something he would have been able to do.”
“I repeat that for him to join that group the idea is quite frankly absurd.”
Police raided his home after they were alerted to his purchases of military equipment from a website called UKMC Pro Ltd, beginning in August 2014.
On their arrival at his home, Counsell asked: “Are you the counter-terrorism police?”
They found military and camping equipment and a ‘wealth of Islamic extremist material’, including copies of the al-Qaeda magazine Inspire, the Isil version called Dabiq, and lectures by Anwar al-Awlaki, an influential extremist preacher.
Police also found bomb-making instructions, a document of practical advice for travelling to join Isil and videos showed showing the decapitation of prisoners by terrorists.
“The defendant had a profound and enduring interest in extremist Islam, jihad and the propaganda of Islamic State and other terrorist organisations,” said Dan Pawson-Pounds, prosecuting.
Among the electronic documents found were 22 copies of ‘Hijrah [migrate] to the Islamic State’ from 2015 which provided practical advice for someone wanting to travel to Syria to join Isil.
The material also included 10 copies of the first edition of the online magazine Inspire, published by al-Qaeda, included an article titled ‘Make a bomb in the kitchen of your Mom’ which showed how to make a homemade pipe bomb.
Counsell married his wife, Fatima, in May 2012, after meeting her through an Islamic matchmaking service.
Fatima was originally from Somalia and her parents lived in the Netherlands.
Counsell said he did not tell his wife about his plans for the Philippines as she was “sceptical” about the life he wanted to live.
He claimed his interest in the country was prompted by watching the series ‘Lives in the Wild’ presented by Ben Fogle, about a man who had moved to the islands.
The graphic combat videos found on his devices, including one which showed an Al-Qaeda suicide attack on an army base, were part of a ‘catalogue of propaganda’ which he said he planned to ‘tastefully edit’ and post online.
Counsell joked in a WhatsApp group conversation with four others on 22 March 2016, the day of the Brussels terrorist attacks: “I heard in Holland’s cafes they’re always on high alert.”
But he dismissed his gloating and told the jury: “We tended to joke about terrorism a lot.”
“If someone asks me about terrorism I’m going to tell them I like a bang in the morning too.”
Counsell claimed he downloaded Dabiq and Inspire – the ‘official propaganda magazines’ of Isil and Al-Qaeda respectively – because they showed “their policy and explicit ideology.”
The married father-of-two added: “It isn’t something that’s unofficial, this is an official document that shows their ideology and beliefs.”
Judge Andrew Lees told Counsell: “In those circumstances together with your ongoing interest in Islamic extremism and researches into Abu Sayyaf and Basilan, and the fact that you had reserved a hotel in Zamboanga City, I am sure you would have gone.”
“I am prepared to accept that it may have been difficult and personally dangerous for you to join Abu Sayyaf, but, in my judgment there is no doubt that you were intending to seek out and join Abu Sayyaf and participate in their activities.”
“How far you would have got or whether you would have come back without fulfilling your intention is difficult for me to assess.”
Counsell, of Russell Road, Hyson Green, Nottingham, was sentenced to eight years in jail for count four of engaging in conduct in preparation of terrorist acts, and 18 months served concurrently for three counts of possessing a document containing terrorist information.

“One of the demonstrators pulled Prof. Stanger’s hair and twisted her neck,” Bill Burger, the college’s vice president of communications and marketing, told the Addison County Independent. “She was attended to at Porter Hospital later and (on Friday) is wearing a neck brace.”
Earlier, scores of protesters took over the lecture hall where Murray was supposed to speak. When Murray approached the podium, they stood up and turned their backs on him, drowning out his attempts to speak with chants, jeers, and a lengthy denunciation of his “hate speech.”
“We will not respect a discourse or debate about free speech,” the protestors recited from pre-prepared text. “These are not ideas that can be fairly debated.”
“Charles Murray, go away! Racist, sexist, anti-gay,” the protestors chanted later.
Some of the protestors held signs denouncing Murray’s supposed belief in eugenics. Others flipped Murray off with both hands.
Murray tweeted about the event afterward.

A Muslim man who brutally murdered a Denver transit security guard said he did it “for the pleasure of Allah.”
Joshua Cummings, a 37-year-old convert to Islam, shot Regional Transportation District security guard Scott Von Lanken on January 30, in what has been described as an “execution-style killing.”
Von Lanken was on duty, explaining light rail routes at the Union Station stop to two customers, when Cummings approached him from behind, pointed a gun at Von Lanken’s neck, and fired. Police believe Von Lanken was targeted because he was mistaken for a cop—his uniform, as a security guard, was similar.
Cummings was found shortly after near the scene of the crime, carrying a gun and jihadist literature. He was arrested, and has since been charged with murder.
In a phone interview from jail with the local CBS News affiliate, Cummings refused to specifically admit to murder, but explained that whatever he did, he did it
“On the night in question, what I did do, I didn’t do that for the Islamic State. I did that purely and solely for the pleasure of Allah,” Cummings said.

First-degree murder charge in fatal shooting of Denver transit guard
DENVER – A man accused of walking up behind a Denver transit guard and shooting him on a street corner was charged with first-degree murder on Friday as authorities said they continued to investigate the slaying.
Joshua Cummings, 37, was advised of the charge filed against him in the death of Scott Von Lanken during a brief court appearance. He wore a red jail jumpsuit and had his arms and legs shackled as he faced Judge Martin Egelhoff. His left eye was less swollen than when he was arrested, a problem believed to have been caused by an infection.
He answered “Yes sir” when the judge asked him if he understood his rights. He hasn’t been asked to enter a plea yet.
Before he was led away Cummings, a Texas-born convert to Islam, asked his lawyer for help getting a Quran, saying jail officials had been “dragging their feet.”

Bands of North-African youths operating in the Dutch city of Maastricht have harassed revellers who were out celebrating Carnival. Several incidents have these past few days been reported from the town, located in the south of the Netherlands, including a case where grievous bodily harm was inflicted on two victims.
Apparently, the assailants have been terrorising Maastricht for a long period of time and are also affiliated with criminal gangs. Inhabitants, as well as shopkeepers in the city centre, are now completely fed up with the migrant youths.
The boys display aggressive and intimidating behaviour and harass people who are out visiting shops or restaurants. Several persons living in the neighbourhood and employees of bars alike, have complained about the situation to daily De Limburger. One of them is, anonymously, quoted as saying:

Sweden’s ruling liberal party Integration Minister has been forced into an embarrassing U-turn after she falsely told BBC the number of reported rapes in the country was falling.
Ylva Johansson was giving an interview on the BBC News channel when she said there was no connection between crime and immigration and the level of rape in Sweden is “going down, and going down, and going down.”
“The level of rapes is not actually high in Sweden”, she also said, after attacking former UKIP leader Nigel Farage – who recently said Malmo was the “rape capital of Europe” – claiming he “doesn’t really know what he is talking about.”
However, it appears Ms. Johansson isn’t so well informed herself. The latest figures show a 13 per cent increase in reported sex crimes in Sweden in 2016, and there has been a general increase over the past ten years.
The misleading claims drew sharp criticism from MPs, economists, and criminologists.
“We don’t need more fake news,” Tweeted the Moderate party’s labour policy spokesperson Elisabeth Svantesson. She called on the Ms. Johansson to explain herself, adding: “In what way is the number of sex crimes decreasing?”
The minister was forced to correct herself on Saturday. “I based my answer on information that I had at the time, that the number of reports of rapes went down in 2015,” she told the Dagens Nyheter newspaper.
“It was wrong of me to speak of a development that was only based on one year. The preliminary figures for 2016 unfortunately show that the figures are on the rise. It’s important to be correct, of course,” she added.
According to the Swedish National Council for Crime Prevention (Brå) stats, reported by Aftonbladet, there was indeed a dip in the number of rapes in 2015 (down 12 per cent), before rising sharply once more by 13 per cent in 2016.
Over the past decade, meanwhile, the increase has been steady, with the number of reported rapes rising from 4,208 in 2006 to 6,560 in 2016.
During the interview, the minister conceded “some problems” may have arisen from the record-breaking levels of immigration in Sweden, but added: “we cannot see a connection between crime and immigration”.
“We have been an immigration country for twenty years… in the same time, the crime level has gone down. So we can’t really see that connection”, she said.
Many people have questioned this assertion, with some journalists and academics claiming there was a period in the 2015 migrant crisis when the Swedish police lost control of many areas.
Much has also been written about the many “no-go zone” in inner-city areas, which are populated by mostly migrants and have high crime rates.

Saranac Lake Police Chief Charles Potthast told Fox News that the charges, one of first-degree sexual abuse, a felony, and another of endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor, stem from Hussain “engaging in a passionate kiss” with a 12-year-old girl, and accusations of the athlete touching her over her clothing in an “intimate area.”
